Review Oldtown Dilli - Bengaluru

Good food, good variety for veg and nonveg. Check out this place. One of my favorite eateries in bangalore. Do check out this place for their pastas, pizzas and drinks. The prices are very budget friendly and the taste is beyond words. They have dine in facility also. They have an outlet in every area. So people of bangalore, get your next craving satisfied from here.

A place perfectly holding its name! The place has both enclosed dining as well as open air rooftop dining - great food, quick service for a well, fulfilling dinner. The place serves all kinds of cuisines - seafood, Chinese, Thai, Italian… Delivery through the food apps is also quick, well packaged and convenient to eat out of.

It was a great experience. The food was good and at affordable rates, except for the drinks I found it a bit overpriced. They had a great service and good atmosphere. I had dinner from here and I recommend you to visit at night during the summer as I think it would get really hot being on the rooftop. Also the cuisine is Tibetan and Chinese orientated and I loved the spicy dishes.

recently had the pleasure of dining at Top Roop Restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the city, this restaurant may be easy to overlook, but its charm and delicious food make it a hidden gem worth discovering. The simplicity of the restaurant's ambiance creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Top Roop Restaurant offers a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes. The focus is on simple, flavorful cooking that highlights the quality of the ingredients. From the moment I took my first bite, I could tell that the chef's passion for cooking shines through in every dish must be try it.

Had potato cheese jalapeno poppers, pasta Alfredo and mango cheesecake. Loved the taste! The quantity was good and the ambience was just too cozy. Went there during day time and it was so good would be even more beautiful at night. Very breezy. Drinks were fairly priced too! Definitely recommend.

Ambience - 4/5 Food - There are very few restuarants who are honest with there menu .. this is one among them 5/5. Quantity - more than sufficient. I would definately recommend this one for food lovers.

Worst experience. Every dish was sweet. Even the Roti/ Paratha/ Naan that we ordered was sweet. No one was even ready to listen to the feedback. A friend had ordered Egg do pyasa and the egg had pieces of shell still stuck on it. Please stay away!

Took my friends out for a casual dinner here....<br/>Expectations was little bit high from OldTown Delhi..What i observed was Service was bit on the slow side and talking about the food it was average..<br/>....<br/>What all we ordered:<br/>Starters:<br/>1. Haryali Kebab<br/>2. Dahi Subz<br/>3. Paneer Tikka<br/>Main Course:<br/>1. Kadahi Paneer<br/>2. Dal Makhni<br/>3. Paneer Makhanwala<br/>4. Murgh Qorma - Highly Recommend<br/>.....<br/>And some Assorted Breads❤️<br/>.....<br/>The theme of the restaurant is of Mughal style so no doubt talking about the taste also is alike similar...<br/>-------------<br/>..<br/>..<br/>Review: 🌟🌟🌟<br/>.<br/>Follow @_taste_the_joy for more updates..<br/>..

Extremely slow service, everyone around us were also complaining regarding the same. The food isn't too great, maybe going once is enough! The dal makhni was okay, paneer was good. the butter naan was too bad. Ambiance is the only plus here, you can open your shoes and sit with your feet up!
Nitin Udawat
One of the best places for Non veg.<br/>Murgh jahangiri and tandoori roti are great. Roomali roti is also awesome.
Avinash Gautam
Murg mussalam was too good..kebabs were not great..roti was good..portion of food is large ..sahi Tulsa was okay

Both the chicken and the mutton served here is inarguably the worst I have tasted anywhere in Bangalore. It’s stale and chewy and leaves a very poor after-taste in your mouth. If you are looking for the taste of Delhi here I suggest you avoid this place completely.

Worthy of 3.5 stars. Food tastes great! Service can be better but not bad. Ambiance is friendly and full of photos from the Dilli Sultanat years. Cost is on the higher side. Details below:<br/><br/>Taste-wise: Except for the coolers (fresh lime or fresh mint lime), everything else taste was par excellence. My favorite item would be Afghani Murgh and Makhni Naan. Well Naan is a class apart here. You would definitely have to eat it to believe it. Highly recommended. Other good items were Murgh Jahangiri and Murgh Malai Kebab. Really happy with the Appetizers and main course. Could have done better in the Deserts and Beverages section.<br/><br/>Item-wise: Nice menu. Good to try other stuffs.<br/><br/>Service-wise: Can be better. We asked for boneless Tikka items which are quite famous there. But they were unavailable on that day. This is something not expected of a high-end restaurant in a posh area. Even waiters looked a little naive and in need of more training I believe. Otherwise, polite and attentive staffs.<br/><br/>Ambiance-wise: The ambiance stays true to the name of the restaurant. Have chairs and tables in most of the area and on one side there is an arrangement to sit on the floor (low lying sofa) with a low table. There is also a separate room with similar arrangement for a larger group of people. Very attractive. Need better maintenance though.<br/><br/>Cost-wise: A little on the higher side but that's fine given the taste of the food. <br/><br/>Overall good experience. Would have loved to have tikka items.

Lovely food for family and friends. Please do ask what's spl for the day and enjoy the food and ambience...

Ambience was good. Varieties were less. Food was okay. It had a dilli vibe. Service was okay. Nice place to go out with friends and family on weekends

Great place! One of my favourate places for north indian food. I would recommend this restaurant. Try the shahi tukda and murgh musslam as well.

Tasty delicious food, it's just wow. Must try Hariyali Kabab and Daal Tadka 😋

Fairly average cuisine. What shocked me was their Naan, which was unexpectedly on the sweet end. Further, the staff covered up their mistake by arguing with us that their preparation is like that and there was nothing wrong that was served. Well, we found it a bit strange.

1. Found a plastic strip in the paratha that I have ordered which could cause many health conditions to one one is cancer.<br/>2. It took 1hr to wait for table cleanup and giving menu and taking order and food arrival after 1hr of total hassle.<br/>3. They served the bad kheer. Which is not even a kheer and tasted bitter like they have kept it for a week or so. Please the image attached. <br/>4. Restaurant managed by a 21 old guy which has no experience in this field and not even courteous.<br/>5. Should we really trust this place to eat?
Mansi
Pathetic service! I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone ever. Their food sucks. Their service is worse than their food. I hope they close soon.
Prankur Agarwal
Service sucks. We waited for an hour for chicken tikka which finally didn't even show up and we ended up leaving the restaurant. Pure mood killer. Won't recommend anyone. Never seen such ignorant and arrogant staff.
Aditya Gupta
Restaurant with most pathetic service in Bangalore. Even after 1 hour the manager was telling that Chicken Tikka will take 10-12 mins. Highly not recommended.

Had gone for lunch.in love with the food and ambience.must try dahi pakode which is unique and taste very good.also had makani naan with malai kofta.for desert had rabdi.the food we ordered were mouth watering and delicious.you won't regret it.the ambience with good music and service was additional plus point with greattt food.

Took my friends out for birthday treat here. Expectation was high from Oldtown Delhi. We ordered menus like :<br/><br/>• chicken shami kebab<br/>• chicken burra<br/>• motton keema<br/>• Biriyani (mutton and chicken both )<br/>• soda<br/><br/>I must say tastewise all these items were too good. Quantity should be a bit more.<br/><br/>Service was good. But they need to increase their number of stuffs I guess as those present are very less to serve if the place is crowded. But the staffs were really nice to us.<br/><br/>Rating :4/5

Happy to find old Delhi taste in Bangalore. Ordered chicken and mutton shorba and was overjoyed by the authentic taste. Next was Shami kebab - delicate and delicious. For main course, ordered mutton keema and jahangir chicken which were also good. But I was especially surprised by the soft and fresh naan, which is a rarity in restaurants. For dessert, ordered Shahi Tukra which could be better if it was a little crunchy, but tasted nice anyway. The ambience was great too and so was the service. Overall, great experience!

So I ordered Paneer Ajwain Tikka and Masala Papad from this place yesterday.I didn't get papad and paneer was wrapped in a foil, all spilled up in the bag.The Zomato guy was clueless, the Zomato service agent was clueless and offered me 55 credits and that's all he could do and when I called the restaurant they said we will resend the order and Switched off the phone later!!The food was tampered and one dish was missing from my order!!!!I mentioned this to the Zomato agent and the best he could offer was 55 credits(that too didn't reach me yet!!).I am really annoyed and shocked at the same time!!!!!As Zomato how do you ensure that your customer is consuming safe, untampered and hygenic food!!!!As a restaurant do you have any responsibility!!??I don't know!!!!!My worst experience with the restaurant and Zomato as well!!!!We can still compromise on the taste but can never Compromise on hygiene and safety!!!!Would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!Be careful guys!!!!!

Great food, worst service and I rude attendent who was taking order. Didn't receive what we ordered. Improve your service, otherwise food is great.
Brundaban Champaty
My experience was very bad . The manager and other staffs not attend properly n food was ok waste of time n money . We set for half hours to take orders n they weren’t attended

I don't know if we were lucky or were just having a good food day, but we were super happy with what we were served.<br/><br/>For starters, we decided to indulge and pack our tummies with some Shammi kebabs, and our tummies were super pleased.<br/>It was super soft as expected and had a lovely thin crust like layer. Loaded with green chillies, this came with a plate of onions, lime and some pudina chutney making the entire dish just perfect.<br/><br/>For our main course, we actually asked for butter naans but were served with some makhani naans that was undoubtedly the highlight for us. This is quite similiar to a butter naan however this had a darker color and sweeter taste to it. This can also be compared with an Arabian bread spread in butter and the texture allows you to dunk in into the curry which makes it more flavorful for the mouth. The curry we ordered was the Noorjahani Murgh, which had an excellent masala however we were not happy with the chicken, surprisingly we also got two super soft chunks of paneer in thd gravy that we devoured.<br/><br/>Overall fantastic food and great service.<br/>Highly recommended for all those who love Mughlai cuisine

My experience to this restaurant was not good. Service was very slow and there were very few choices in menu as they were not having any items to be served.<br/>
Satyarth Srivastava
Bad!<br/>Neither the food was good nor the hospitality.<br/>Tried so many things.<br/>Priced highly.<br/>Food not at all special.<br/>Basic gravy for everything.
Vaishak Vernekar
Giving the ratings for the decor and food. I had a contrary experience in hospitality. There was this one guy who took our order who seemed a lot to judge people. Interefered in our orders as well. In hospitality aspect zero stars.
Shweta Santosh
A decent place, had been here for Dinner. Ordered murgh biriyani, murgh jahangir, tandoori rotis and rabadi falooda. Took quite some time to get all these served. All of them tasted good, Murgh Jaghangir was actually awesome. Also, I would recommend ordering butter roti instead of plain ones, because they were really hard to chew. Also ordered a glass of lassi which was not up to the mark. Good service, Overall a good experience.

Hey Guys! Back with a review after quite a some time. Well actually this place forced me to write one.<br/><br/>So I used to pass by this place quite a lot and think to myself that I am sure this would give me that missing dilli k khane ka taste and hence made dinner plans with my friends.<br/><br/>The decor is quite nice and quaint... You enter into a small and cozy room of nicely done seating in the semi floor seating style and the regular table chair style. We sat on the floor style seating with our let's crossed, little uncomfortable but what the hell, I wanted the feel.<br/><br/>Coming to the food - boy the disappointment I had!<br/>We ordered afgani chicken Tikka which was bland...don't know how that happened, anyway the team was kind enough to replace it with chicken Tikka which had taste but that of chat masala. The chicken was completely dry and hard, I felt it was a chore to finish it.<br/>Then we had a sweet curry called murg jahangiri and ended up with sweet naan called makhani naan... I mean this was just a shock. Why are they sweet!?<br/><br/>Sorry team but this place was not at all as per my expectations! I would suggest that go to this place if it's your last resort!
Udit Pahuja
One should give it a try for sure for the best indian food in bangalore. The mutton tastes like heaven. And the service is fast. Should improve on delivery orders and hygiene as the tables were not clean.
Kushal Shukla
The food was terribly bad. We had ordered chicken murg the chicken was so hard that we couldn't even cut from the knife. The staff was kind of rude and looked disinterested in serving or listening to our concerns.
Nilesh Kumar
Good place for North Indian cuisine. Had Tandoori roti and paneer kadai. Tasted best. Authentic mughlai food. Ambience is also great. Must visit.
Madhumita
I visited the place on a weekday for dinner around 8 and it was not at all crowded that time. Though after 9-9:30 there were some 4-5 groups. Hence no Pre booking needed atleast on a week day. Coming to food we ordered galawati kebab and mutton nihari biryani. Galawati kebab was very nice, soft and as per the mark and even the biryani was good. The reason I give them a 3 star is that I myself being from North India, didn't feel that I have come to a homely place. The food was good but not exactly like the famous galawati kebab there so it's not a place which exactly represents North Indian food here in South. Other than that, the name suggests it shows Delhi but the inner ambiance tries to replicate Lucknow. So that's quite not justified. Though I know we must show Zomato gold while ordering the food and somehow in talks I missed it.. And they still considered it during billing but the way they warned about giving the Zomato gold id before was quite rude and not very welcoming. Which makes me bit reluctant in visiting them again.. but over all I give them a 3.5
Ashiya Parveen
I ordered meal and Shahi tukda, Sahi tukda is one of maah fvrt.anytime I can eat spacialy from this place.amd meal was ok ok.can be better. And delivery person was not picking up the call .<br/>
Yash
They don’t have of the things available in the menu. The taste is just average. I had the Chicken Seekh Kebabs which were not soft at all. Also I tried to the Chicken Achaari in main course which was also not great. The service was alright. The waiters weren’t aware of the use of Zomato Gold.

This is the place you need to try if you like north Indian food!<br/>The food is absolutely amazing!<br/>I really enjoyed the food from this place.<br/>The biryani is good.<br/>Paneer tikka masala is good too.
Jogendra Mahato
This place is in between sony signal and maharaja signal.<br/>It serves good north indian food. Ambience is okish. But its not managed well. I saw people complaing about delay in this order and order misplaced. I was lucky my experience went smooth.

Food - 3.5 / 5<br/><br/>Ambience - 3 / 5<br/><br/>Service - 3.5 / 5<br/><br/>Simply heaven for Non veg lovers. The cuisine is mughlai and that's why a bit different from the regular. The naan that I orders was sweet, more like a bread with a hint of cardamom. The food was quiet tasty though, the dal tadka was really good and even the paneer was different yet had an amazing taste. Must visit for a heart filled food experience.
Aanchal Rastogi
Food is pathetic here.Thought of trying a different restaurant but everything was unpleasant to eyes and taste. We ordered murg mughlai and mutton nahari (on waiters recommendation)both were tasteless. The only edible thing was shami kabab.Would not recommend to anyone.
Mrinal Roy
Food was very disappointing. It is so bad that I am still having stomach issues after having diner there last night.<br/>The chicken starter was bad, the rotis were worst of my life as of now.
Shayon Bagchi
So we were 6 friends who came here for dinner for the first time seeing the name and rating. We had ordered the Murgh Malai kebab and the dahi qissa for starters. Was very surprised when we got served with just 4 small pieces of the malai kebab. The taste was just ok for both. For main course we had ordered dal makhani, noor jahani murg and chicken achari along with naan. When the naan came it was abnormally puffed. Looked like they had used soda to make it puffed, so much so we couldn't eat it and had to again order rumali rotis. The food wasn't that tasty and we went home disappointed.<br/>The following morning all 6 of us woke up with stomach aches. The food quality was so bad that all of us had stomach upsets so much so that I am forced to write a reveiw. I hope in future reading my review, people would at least think twice before coming here. I would highly NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone unless he / she wants to give their belly an ordeal.

Had been here for a friend's farewell... It turned out to be a disaster as far as food was concerned. The chicken malai Tikka was burnt, the tawa mushrooms totally tasteless, even the tomato shorba was disappointing... I was expecting a super yummy welcome with some amazing flavors, but I was not happy at all... The service was very slow. It took them around an hour just to get soup and a single starter... We cancelled the rest of the food and scurried out of the place. Having a rating of 4 n yet not even living up to half of it I would say... This isn't done... Please up your game... 😔
Maseera Mahmood
Slow service, nobody to serve and take order , quantity of food is very less for the price. Ambience is good but not maintained. Not worth it!
Nisi Ann Mary
The food was a disappointment. Who makes Naan bread with baking soda? My five year old daughter simply refused to eat the naan... Even the local Sagars have better tasting food...the butter chicken felt like it was made with ketchup

The worst dining experience in recent time in Bangalore. In one word I will say &#039;Oldtown Dilli&#039; is horrible for North Indian food. I visited this restaurant today afternoon for lunch after seeing good rating in Zomato and now I am regretting for taking that decision. On a Sunday afternoon, only three tables had customers and rest of the restaurant was deserted. I ordered Murg Malai Kebab, Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani, Tandoori Roti, Naan, Butter Naan. They didn&#039;t have Dal Makhani (why then call yourself a North Indian/Delhi cuisine restaurant), so I settled for Dal Fry. The waiting time for food ended in a complete disappointment, the taste of all the items was disgusting. I never tasted such pathetic Paneer Tikka Masala anywhere in the world. Roti and Naan had bad smell of soda and Chicken Kebab was tasteless. The waiters had no idea of North Indian food and they even don&#039;t know what is &#039;Chole Bhature&#039;, when I asked. Waiters had no courtesy to put tissue paper in the empty tissue paper holder in our table and overall service was bad. Washroom had empty hand-wash bottles and like any other restaurant, tissue paper boxes were empty. <br/><br/>Food: 0 (ZERO)<br/><br/>Service: 2<br/><br/>Ambience: 3.5<br/><br/>An avoidable and forgettable restaurant. Bad taste, that&rsquo;s all.
NIKHIL RANJAN
The restaurant waiter gave us chutney and onion which we never asked.. And calculated 80rs for that. Very bad service.<br/><br/>They should inform such thing before only.<br/><br/>

Old town Dilli is love. Located on the 80 feet road in Koramangla, this place serves amazing vegetarian food. I visited the place on a Saturday with a vegetarian friend and although I am not a sucker for vegetarian food, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food was mind blowing. The Paneer tikka masala and Malai Korta were yumm with the right blend of spices and flavor. We ordered butter naan which was really fluffy and soft to go with the curries. The ambience is really nice too. It has the vintage vibe and a palace like feel. I totally recommend this place.

[ZOMATO GOLD VISIT]<br/><br/>Situated in Koramangala 4th Block, this place is very easy to find.<br/><br/>The ambience and interiors are pretty good. The staffs are polite.<br/><br/>We were two people decided to visit this place for a Monday dinner. We ordered Murg Seekh Roll, Mutton Keema and Plain Paratha.<br/><br/>* Murg Seekh Roll : This dish had 4 pieces of Seekh Roll. The presentation was good. It was served with green chutney and onions. The roll tasted good but it was too dry from within. It should had been a bit juicy.<br/><br/>* Mutton Keema : This dish was very good. The quantity was also good. The minced pieces were not too fine and neither too big. They were in perfect size. The spices used were also good as the flavours were easily recognized.<br/><br/>* Plain Paratha : Disappointing, the dough used was too thick and it became difficult for us to eat after 10 min.<br/><br/>Thank you Oldtown Dilli Restaurant for having us.<br/><br/>#HappyEating<br/><br/>

For starters, we ordered Dahi Kabab and Masala Papad. Both were amazing.<br/>For main course, we tried the kadhai paneer and it was delicious. The only problem was that it was too oily and too spicy (not too much chilli, but overdose of masala). While eating we could feel that this is gonna give us an upset stomach. So before placing the order, kindly ask them to make it according to your tolerance of masala. The roti was the best part. The tandoori roti was thick, yet so soft.<br/>Will surely try other dishes and some dessert next time :)

1. Worst restaurant to visit.&amp;nbsp;<br/>2. Staff behavior is very bad.<br/>3. Food quality also not good<br/><br/>If still you want to visit, then think about yourself
Karthik Natarajan
Ordered home delivery of mutton burra, chicken butter roast and galouti kabab. Mutton burra was good and was the best of the three. Galouti kabab was soft and well made but had a hint of bitterness. The chicken was absolutely terrible. Meat was dry and tasted like it was old . Definitely not made today ! Will I order again ? Just the mutton burra probably

Just lovvveedddd it here❤❤❤ The food is awesome, the portions are generous. The ambience resonates the old Delhi charm. The place truly lives up to it's name. Do visit the place whenever you get serious mughlai cravings.

A great place for some good food.<br/><br/>If you are looking up for some authentic cuisine to try out from the streets of Delhi, then this is the place<br/><br/>This place has very less vegetarian options, it's more of filled with Non Vegetarian Cuisines.<br/><br/>A very cozy ambience with 3 types of seating,<br/>A cushion based , a private room for your kitty gangs and a normal chair.<br/><br/>The types of lights and designs on the walls are great. Gives you a feel of sitting somewhere in delhis food streets.<br/><br/>They also have a photo booth with horses in there.<br/><br/>We tried Nizami Handi Murg Biryani, which was full of Authentic Spices of Delhi and tasted great, a little spicy and it was served with Raitha.<br/><br/>Then we tried Subz Biryani, which was full of veggies including carrots, aloo, paneer and so on.<br/><br/>Also we tried Kulfi falloda which tasted great in there with the perfectly cooked vermicelli and Kulfi was delicious in there.<br/><br/>So this is a go to place if you are looking for some authentic cuisine.<br/><br/>Follow @mysurufoodiewalks for more updates on food

This has got to be one of the best North Indian restaurants I've been to in Bangalore. It is a must try if you like to be served good North Indian food. First, the ambience is so good. It's a nice, quiet place and has such nice seating arrangements. Zomato gold in the restaurant is obviously a plus. Their Makhni Naan are a must try! All the main course items are equally good. Oh, and also, don't forget to try their lime mint cooler!
Sarjis Ali
I was late I reached at 11.45 but they searve food and that was very kind., And the food was toooooooo gooooood and the hospitality was good... The best place to visit.i hate to review but this place is a worthy a mile stone if u are in Koramangala u need to visit this place.
Akshat Karnwal
Service was very poor, the waiter was rude, the food tasted horribly bad. The ambience is pretty good, but that can’t make up for the poor service and overpriced food.
Shayoni Sengupta
I've never seen a place with waiters and staff as obnoxious and rude as this.<br/>So completely unhelpful, unwilling to listen to anybody else, and terrible at service: My advice would be to avoid this place, because the incorrgibly terrible service ruins the entire dining experience.
Ravikant Sharma
Nice place. Good food. Not a very fine dining but ambience and food is good. Staff is cooperative. It gives a feeling of more Rajasthani ambience
Sheetal Mishra
Tastes good but quantity is too less. Basically you will be getting 2 piece of mutton in this Ghost thali. Mutton is tender and biryani is flavourful.<br/><br/>Would love to rate it 5 , if they are increasing the quantity.
THE BLACK KNIGHT
I have ordered mutton thali from here. The taste was good but the quantity was very less compared to the price.<br/><br/>Quantity: 3/5<br/>Quality: 4/5<br/>Cost of Money: 3/5

Food was good but price little on the higher side. The service can be improved marginally. Falooda was not that great. <br/>Overall, the restaurant is a good for a family dinner and can be visited regularly.
Samragni Dasgupta
The food wasn't great, but the ambience was very nice. I would recommend taking the roti over the naan. Overall, the experience was quite good.

THE PLACE IS VERY NICE. THE BEST BUTTER NAAN I HAD EVER TASTED. STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY. THE RESTAURANT IS VERY CALM PLEASANT FOR LUNCH OR DINNER.

Taste -5/5<br/>Service-5/5<br/>Ambience-5/5<br/>This is my 2nd visit alone to this place.<br/>The ambience with light music and wonderful interior and warm hospitality is very appealing.<br/>I couldn't use zomata Gold since I was alone but that's alright.<br/>I am a pure vegetarian and I loved the food here.<br/>Must try faloodas, paratha ,masala papad and veg roll.<br/>The pickle with the paratha were so very tasty I kind of kept on asking for more and more.<br/>It was green chilli pickle which wasn't spicy at all and it had the sarson flavour which made it yummy.<br/>The parathas also tasted and looked so very different that I was totally extremely overwhelmed.<br/>#A must go place
Taniya Das
A place for authentic north food. The decor is typical Delhi style and the food taste pretty good. We ordered muchmuche corn kabab and Dahi subz ki qisse in starter which was mouth watering. In main course we ordered makhni naan, paneer tikka masala, makhani murg (must try) and gosht karahi and in appetizer sweet lassi and lime soda. Though the non-veg items were really good but the paneer was a bit heavy. They refused us gold service saying that they will give us 15% discount. Overall a good experience.
Shubham
Delicious food and great ambience and well behaved staff. A must visit place in Koramangala. Do try Jahangiri Chicken in this outlet along with Biryani<br/>
Kavyashri Das
We went out for dinner and I must say all the foodies in Bangalore to try their Murg Begum(butter roasted) I absolutely loved it. The butter the chicken was succulent and it was worth the wait. I really wanted to lick the bowl off 😘😘 can’t wait to eat again
Brokelings
It could either be me ordering the wrong things here or I feel that their vegetarian food is just not right by itself. I once had a paneer tikka masala and the gravy was just too rich, to an extent that even two people can't finish the small looking serving. I'm pretty sure it's rich in calories but the balance is not hit right. The service is average as well. Would love to know what to order in the vegetarian menu to restore my faith in this eatery.

Old town dilli... Good ambience... Very good food but the experience was not so pleasant due to the behaviour of the Manager/Captain as they called him. Mr. Vinay was extremely unprofessional. We ordered a Murg Malai Kebab. They got us a minced thingy... When asked why they said it comes like that only when even in the description it was mentioned "chicken pieces". When we pointed out the same, Me. Vinay got agitated and went on to say "if you don't wanna have it then dont"<br/><br/>Dint expect such a behavior. Attaching the pic for reference. Would avoid visiting again. Might order since the food is good.

Food- 5 🌟<br/>Ambience - 5 🌟<br/>Courtesy - 5 🌟<br/>Must have - Shahi tukda 🌟 🌟 🌟<br/>Amazing place to visit with friends or your sweetheart! We reached the place 10 mins before the closing time and yet, the staff was sweet enough to accommodate our request. :)

An economically viable option for people who love Mughlai cuisine.. Ambience and overall experience was pretty good too .. Service, in terms of time taken to serve, could be a bit better.

Well I visited this place on a Friday night for dinner.....had a very bad experience...being super hungry I had ordered for Tomato Soup which was not all up to the mark<br/><br/>Starters I had ordered for tandoori paneer where very big uncooked Panner was served<br/><br/>Main course had ordered for Afghani Paneer when again the vegetable did not have flavors<br/><br/>

The food was very bad. Ordered naan and received kulcha and they claimed that to be naan. The paneer was stale and not at all fresh. The spicy dishes were made sweet. The rice was dry and to cover that they dipped in some butter and served.

The food was really of bad quality. The breads have lot of soda in the dough and the paneer used in the subz pulao was stale.<br/>The medium for cooking could be dalda as I had brought the left over food home and kept in the fridge. At night the food was tasting peculiar and had really bad smell.

It’s near Maharaja Signal close to my office in 4th block. Food quality is upto the mark. Taste is also good. They have seating arrangement as per the old times as well as chair and table is also abailable.

Old Delhi interiors, good service and not so great food.<br/>That's sums up the review for this place in Koramangala. I had ordered galauti kabab, mutton seekh kabab and mutton burra. Both kebabs had a sour taste ..too much aaam choor? Preservatives? Whatever it was .. not good !<br/><br/>Burra was still ok but could have been cooked better.<br/><br/>All stars for service and ambiance<br/><br/>Will I go back again.. I doubt.<br/>

When I visited last year it was awesome and I gave 5 star. I had become regular after that. During my recent visits I experienced that the quality really dropped. Meat was not fresh and was stale and hard. Flavours of gravy like korma and stew was very different from the original flavour and did not meet my expectations. And service also was very slow.

After seeing the Zomato rating & reviews we decided to visit the place. <br/>May be it was a bad day for the restaurant or a bad day for us - we weren’t happy at all with the food.! <br/>Though the service was quite slow but the staffs were really sweet & polite. <br/>Firstly we had ordered mutton seekh kebab - the moment it was brought on the table - we got a sharp stench which clearly indicated that the mutton has gone stale..same was with the kheema naan which we had called for. <br/>We sent the seekh kebab back & called for Afghani murgh instead but by the time we tasted the naan - we didn’t feel like even complaining. <br/>We had also ordered few mocktails & buttermilk- we never saw the face of the mocktails but we got buttermilk in the end when we had finished our dinner and decided to call for the cheque - so we requested the staff to cancel the same. <br/>For main course we had called for butter chicken - the gravy was quite decent and roti - they served us pakistani roti - the portion size of which was quite big and this one tasted the best.! <br/><br/>As I told sue to slow service and few not satisfactory food - our visit was not upto the mark to this place. But I just hope it was another bad day for them.! <br/>All the best to the team.!!

I am so happy that I found this place through zomato gold listing. Visited this place with my family on Sunday for dinner. It is located just next to Barista on the 80feet road at Koramangala. As the name suggests, the restaurant gives the similar vibe as soon as you enter the place with its traditional yet chic decor.<br/>The food is delicious and the service is also to the point.<br/>We ordered Galawati Kebab, Chapli Kebab,Noorjahani chicken, Akbari chicken with plain naan and tandoori roti. I want to specially mention about the rotisserie as these are fluffy and soft unlike any other restaurant. Also the coolers were really refreshing and tasty.<br/>We availed to zomato gold codes and we're axed by the bill which was really affordable.<br/>I absolutely recommend this place if you are fan of Indian/mughali/dilli food

Here the special oldtown Dilli murgh biryani just won the place for me! Now it's the go-to place for me whenever I want an awesome biryani either at lunch or dinner👌👌

Very Bad Experience. Food and Service not good at all. All the Good 4 or 5 rated reviews seem to be fully fake. I saw those reviews and went there but it came out to be a horrible experience.

Staff - Least professional and polite. They hardly care. Not only do they not care about feedback but would not miss a chance to hurl a smirk reply back<br/>Food - Their mystery kitchen would mix any gravy with any vegetable to prepare a dish you'll have a tough time gulping down your throat

I never thought I could get so bad a chicken dish from such a place. The chicken was so bad, I think it was old and still they made a chicken gravy out of it. Really disgusting food. Surely not gonna order from this place again.

This seems a promising place. We ordered Kebab and Panner Tikka starters for home delivery. Tasteful, Spicy. Value for money. Delhi style masala.

I was just driving through all the busy roads of kormanagla on a Sunday night when got a look of this authentic and aesthetic looking OG dili restaurant.<br/>Love how it looks from the outside the whole concept of the palace is really pleasing<br/>When you enter it has a fine dining look with a nice silver and dark grey interior which was really nice.<br/>The place itself is lit well<br/>Coming to the food:<br/>I ordered a chicken Tikka , paneer paratha, Rabdi falooda and kadai paneer and a few more breads.<br/><br/>The chicken starter was cooked different from how chicken tikka is usually presented , apparently this is how it looks in Delhi. It was soft and tender and cooked to almost perfection<br/>The gravy wasn't good ,but above average ..<br/>The breads here are the best the butter naan we ordered was really fluffy and soft and just melting when you put it into your mouth loved it.<br/><br/>Now the finale coming to the desert/drink<br/>Rabdi falooda- never ever heard of this combination and this is one of their BEST SELLERS - was absolutely delicious loved it<br/>It's a must try , a 5/5 for this one<br/>Would for sure visit again , it's a restaurant nice for family dinners with relatives and cousins and the service is good and fast too<br/>Sign me up if you have any new launches to your menu I'd love to come and try them..<br/>Keep it up

Bad food. We had a mutton shami kebab, nizami biryani and kulchha. All of us ended with indigestion/ foodpoisoning. The food was definitely stale. Taste otherwise was average.
