Review Iyengar's Bakery - Bengaluru

One of the oldest bakeries of Bangalore. I'm personally not a big fan of all the sugar that's added to everything, but that's not just this place so... They make their own products with good hygiene. Recyclable packing is an added plus. Delicious, authentic and clean.

Amazing place for all Puffs and Bakery Items. Paneer Puff is fresh,crunchy and yummy Samosa is super yum, stuffing is mouthwatering. Would highly recommend

Good bakery, lots of varities,they are claiming everything are made their own.

They serve all types of bakery items fresh. Their butter biscuits, coconut biscuits 🍪 tastes good. Also veg puffs are tasty .

Their jam bun with butter with special bun is next level, most tastiest bakery items in and around MG road and Austin town , their puff items are very good but Samosa is not as tasty

Hi this is one of my favourite bakery as child hood , the special bread which we get here has a good taste comparing to other bakerys, right from the school time before pastries introduced they had varitey of normal cakes out which my favourite is always chocolate till today it's available ,but I do miss other flavours of cakes love this bakery

The bakery smells heavenly, it's a clean and punctual place and all their items make you feel like child having their grandma's goodies all over again, makes you feel very nostalgic. Prices are very reasonable and worth it.

Tried Dil pasand, honey cake, sponge cake, nippat and murukku..All were delicious. Honey cake is probably one of the best in town.

Famous for their bread and other items no other bakery can beat them in vicinity <br/>Going there since childhood my entire family are regular to the place I remember when my dad used to tell me how old the place was and now the current owners son is taking forward the legacy I know few staffs who still greet me with a smile.<br/>Their sponge cake is another amazing thing,salt biscuits,veg puffs,bun butter jam etc and the list goes on.<br/>

Horrible Service, the staff are rude and behave like that serve free food. Management should first teach their staff how to serve customers and be approachable.<br/>Just because they are present for years doesn't mean you can treat customers badly.<br/>Overpriced, quality has come down drastically.<br/>Definetly not recommended

Cake Takeaway - Saturday - 1400hrs<br/><br/>Ambiance 3/5<br/>Service 4.5/5<br/>Value 5/5<br/>Taste 2/5<br/><br/>Iyengars is one of the all-time original OG, old school, quintessential Bangalore brands, bakery or otherwise, in the same league perhaps one could say as the famous Kalyani in Pune.<br/><br/>Sadly the compliments from me end here as we observe the phenomenon many of the same brands have experienced in the challenge to maintain relevant and produce tasty products in a market which is starting to look towards gourmet cakes from the likes of Smoor. <br/><br/>This particular branch transported me to a 1980-90s BLR, in watching the trays of fresh cakes coming out of the oven, the bakers whites' and the style of cakes, pastries and puffs. <br/><br/>I didn't catch the names of what we ordered other than pineapple cake which was downright awful. Old, stale sponge cake, a real mess. The puff full of desiccated coconut was on the dry side and not great either.<br/><br/>Not a great experience in the taste or freshness and disappointing as a whole. One thing about this city that I learnt is, if you want good food trust the Legacy System already in place. Call it MTR, Koshys, Udupi, A2B take your pick...one thing common among these is all are 70-80 years old.<br/>One such place is Iyengar's Bakery, located in almost all of the areas in Banglore.<br/>Known for: Fresh bakery items.<br/>Great option to buy your daily breakfast bread from here freshly baked and loaf is cut infront of you (given you have a joint nearby).<br/>Do try: Pineapple whipped cream pastries. Baby corn Puffs and coconut ladu!<br/>Yum.<br/>Best part: Its Damn cheap. Please bare the ambience.

Ordered a fresh cream chocolate flavour photocake. It was delivered well in time. Delicious cake with the picture done very neatly. Perfect level is of sweetness. Full marks for taste, design and quality. Recommended :) Would love to order again.

You really do not expect any great service from any traditional family oriented business let alone a bakery.. which traditionally has been popular only in the neighbourhood that they are located in...<br/>And when such a bakery offers you some awesome world class service alongwith really nice cakes.. it makes for some mindblowing experience. So a long story in shots( yepp shots.. no typo).. Forgot wife's birthday.. Tried to get a birthday cake delivered.. most of the so called 'hep' bakeries did not offer any help.. even though they very exorbitantly priced none came forward to save a hapless husband... But Iyengars really saved day and delivered the cake not only at the right time.. considering that my house is near Hoskote... Thanks a lot guys..<br/>P.S.. Breads and other snacks are really yummy... :)
