I recently visited the House of Commons Bar & Grill and had a mixed experience. If you don't mind a crowded setting and are primarily focused on the menu variety, you might have an okay experience. However, if you prefer a more spacious and relaxed dining atmosphere, you might want to consider other options.

We ordered cheese croquettes and dal makhani + naan. Dal makhni was heavenly and we asked to pack the rest of it and had it in b/f as well. Definitely a great ambience and the restaurant is top notch with class service professionals who are very prompt. There's a foosball table as well at the 1st floor and I enjoyed the evening thoroughly

Got time to meet my college friends here today at lunch time. The ambience is really good. They have a large variety of food drinks available. I enjoyed everything that I ordered as the food was really good.

It was absolutely good tasty food that house of common. The AC area non smoking was really good and all the families could enjoy the place. The service was really good and the food was really tasty. The humus and Pet bread platter was amazing. From drinks point of view they did not have bira beer and we had to use the substitute of guest draught beer. Overall experience was good and value for money.

Nice place for hangout and catch up with friends/ family /colleagues. Affordable rates for food. A little bit congested sitting and please avoid sitting on first floor. Air circulation is very bad and its lot of heat. Ground floor is good. Rock and DJ music is played, but no floor to dance. Taste of food is good & service is also good.

There are times when you just walk into a place and it takes you by surprise! My visit to the House of Commons on a laid back Sunday afternoon was one such time. One of the best House of Commons in Bangalore. Food cooked to perfection/preferences, served quickly, good soft music playing in the background ... what else could one ask for.

Decent parking space Very good food, quantity can be improved but other than that it's a great experience having food here.

Food: 4.5/5 Amazing Honey Chilli Potato - Crispy and well balanced. Chilli Garlic Noodles - it was good, tasty and good portion. Funghi: Thin crispy crust, fresh vegetables, could have been more spicy. Limited veg options thou. Service: 5/5 Polite and friendly, and quick. Ambience: 4/5 The 1st floor was crowded with people who fancy drinks and smoke. Ground floor was quite, fine lighting and was mostly empty.

Good place with a good ambiance and good food. It's a bit costiy though. But food is undoubtedly good. Draught beer is available, but there's no home brew ( not a microbrewery). Quick service and the starters are amazing. We tried vegeterian options and ordered those again. Will be going back for second round of tastings for sure. Overall a good place for a nice and vibrant evening dinner ( not cozy one ). Would love to have home brew available there.

One of the famous pubs in HSR Layout. Great location with adequate parking space. Happening place to be in during weekends. Good ambience and view from the first floor.

This is one of the most highest crowded Resto Bar in Bangalore and highly hygienic & neat average ambience place. I tried an non veg platter & veg platter the meat was not well cooked meat seems like an more staled one. Rest all everything was okayish.

One of the best place I’ve been in Bangalore for sure. Food, drinks and vibe everything on point. Also even the price is comparatively lower than other bars or pubs.

The food was okayish. Not worthy of the price. The ambience and service was decent. We went on a Sunday night and they said they don't have pizza available. That's one of the main dishes they serve.

It's one of my fav place in Bangalore. It's totally pocket friendly. The food is really awesome. I always order the non veg platter. The beer is really very cheap. It's best for group outing. I like everything about house of common in HSR. I always look forward to go there. And never miss the funny poster at bathroom.

This has been my go to place for last year and half, always enjoyed the ambiance and food. Today I was disappointed as no social distancing was maintained. Patrons were being seated on tables next to each other. When complained to the captain to ask the new guests to move he was hesitant to do it. Few minutes later another set of guests were directed to the next table to us. I had to ask the guests to move a distant table.<br/><br/>For payment of bill I was stopped to pay through Zomato Pro and I disputed it before I could pay it.<br/><br/>When complained to the manager, firstly he himself was not wearing the mask properly even after I asked him to put it up he did not. After hearing about my experience he showed no genuine concern for protocols being not followed.

This place is amazing and filled with really courteous staff. Our server was Mr. Dusmanta and he was simply one of the most courteous staff that I’ve had. It was a wonderful experience and the food was really good. Not just the taste but the portions as well were really up to the mark

I visited HOC HSR unlimited times as it is near to me. Being nearest it has cool ambience , reasonable done n supporting staffs.

As the name says, it's an awesome place for all the folks out there to hangout. The ambience is really cool and the food is quite good as well. We went on a Saturday night, and it was too much crowded. But I like crowd and the music which creates the vibe for the Saturday night 💃. I would recommend booking a table if you are going there on weekends. <br/><br/>Here are my ratings:<br/><br/>Ambience : 8<br/>Food : 8<br/>Service: 9<br/><br/><br/>Overall it's a decent pub in HSR layout. The location is great as the food street is just opposite to it. I would definitely love to visit again.

House of Commoms have been one of the most popular weekend hangout places in HSR for my colleauges, atleast the last 4 years I have been around. So I devided to test it myself. I actually had a great experience both the times I visited. I would recommend to visit it during happy hours.

A place which awaited a long due visit. Truly said, don't underestimate the power of "common" man! We arrived here on a Friday night. The place was jam packed. We got seats in the smoking zone, which was fine by us. We ordered witbier and dunkelweizen. Witbier was too light, as usual. Dunkelweizen got us some kick though. On the side we ordered honey chilli potato, which was so good (and we were so hungry) that we finished it early! Had a penne pesto pasta with shrimp. A slight welcome difference than usual pesto pasta I have. Finally ordered one pepper garlic chicken, which truly stands as a speciality of this place. Service was good. Even though the whole place and especially the smoking zone was too crowded, we did not have to wait long for any order. They did attend to us time to time and it actually is something many other places do not follow when they are this crowded. Ambience is awesome for hanging out with friends over beer and snacks. But yes, you have to keep in mind that it's a loud place. Overall, and excellent place to be.
