A small hidden place in Kalyan Nagar. Food here is pretty good, the BBQ chicken was simply yummy. Chicken steak was quote good as well. They have a quite an extensive menu for food and desserts. Their Blueberry baked cheesecake was quite good, the owner was kind enough to make us a regular cheesecake in less than 10 minutes. Going to visit place again just for the cheesecakes.

For the last four years, we have been regular customers of Fragrant Kitchen. What keeps us ordering from them regularly is not just the interesting varied menu ..but the outstanding quality and yumminess of their breads, cookies and cakes...Lots of wonderful goodies for kids too...my daughter and her friend enjoy the barbequed chicken buns, chicken and cheese flatbreads and brownies to mention a few. Thank you Fragrant Kitchen...From a Happy Mum.:)

We has a team lunch meeting in Fragrant kitchen. Let me share the fantastic time we had in this place. Right from food, courteous waiters and an ambience just right for a great chat with team members over lunch :) the menu is interesting and I look forward to the cuisine which is prepared with creativity and delightful taste that makes you wanting more! I had a good gourmet lunch after a long time...

A small delightful place for fresh, warm and tasteful morsels. Tried their burger buns and monkey bread. The burger buns were 4" well baked and some were baked just for me :). The. Instead held well over the grill, and for 3 days yet they were soft and fluffy. Monkey bread... Like the name, the bread was a naughty mildly sweet and hint of nutmeg. The berries gave good company at each bite. Yum.

Absolutely a must try bakery
I love their breads specifically brioche, garlic bread and chocolate babka, monkey bread are all time favourite of my son. The owner of this bakery Geeta is very humble and friendly.
hello kairi

Fragrant Kitchen is by far the Best Bakery in Kalyan Nagar Bangalore I have used so far. I know Geetha personally and she takes a personal interest in ensuring the packaging is perfect. I wanted to gift a hamper to my Brother in Bangalore and without asking me, she sent a personal hand written note to my brother on my behalf. My sister-in-law was so overjoyed and happy that she called me the moment she received the hamper and the entire family was enjoying and indulging in the gift they just received. Kudos to Geetha for being not just an amazing baker, but a baker that Cares!! Love you Geetha for being the person you are.

<br/>Their cakes are exquisite and rich. Lovely flavor and sure will get you fat cause it's addicting. Especially their caramel praline cake is stellar.

Ordered Chicken Bucket Biriyani and Chicken Kabab. The biryani was of nawabi style sprinkled with fried onions and sprinkled cashews, however the taste was not inclined with the presentation. Felt that there was a lot of oil at the bottom of the bowl which made it even more difficult to eat. I was told when received the order confirmation call that it'll be prepared fresh and packed, which I believe is the drawback for the rice and meat to not have its 'biriyani' flavor. But the add on Chicken kabab was delicious, well marinated and deep fried.. (Got the food after waiting for almost 1.30 hours, for which the delivery is to be blamed and not the restaurant)

Visited this place for lunch with a big group.witj lot of expectations and seeing good reviews but was highly disappointed after reaching there.. this place is situated in a weird location which gives u weird vibes. Shady interior and service add to it.. Food was not as bad as interior.. Eatable food.. might be a good and cheap option for home delivery

My only experience with Fragrant Kitchen was extremely unpleasant. I ordered food for my son's birthday. While most of the items were OK, the chicken fried rice which was ordered specially for the children was spoilt. The food was delivered by 3pm and the rice was served by 6pm. The stench from the rice was so bad that it was hard for anyone to believe Geetha's claim that it was freshly made at 2pm. I had to make alternate arrangements during the party. In spite of all this, Geeta did not offer a refund. She started avoiding my calls and never called back. Her attitude prompted me to decide that no matter what, I should get the full refund for the rice. I had to persistently follow up and demand this until she reluctantly agreed to it. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I was appalled by her lack of professionalism. She did not take responsibility for her food nor apologise or make amends. While I can overlook or excuse the food coz mistakes can happen, the unprofessional and unapologetic attitude is appalling. This review is long overdue, but better late than never.

I've been ordering cakes from Fragrant Kitchens for the past year now, and never have they disappointed. Yummy, good looking cakes and an absolute 10/10 for customer service. <br/>At one point, they went out of the way to deliver the cake at the required address even though the entire city was under curfew. <br/>Such absolutely amazing people :) <br/>Much love and Godspeed :)

I have been to Fragrant kitchen many times. Great place with value for money. Food is good. I love their crispy chicken burger. Burgers and cakes are good here.

The food at Fragrant Kitchen is always wholesome and bursting with flavour. I order all the birthday cakes and cakes for other celebratory events from FK. That's because the people I love deserve the best. My repeat favourites are Red Velvet and the Mixed Fruit Torte. The biriyanis and burgers are just so tasty. They also do dessert in a jar which  is such a cool way to serve. One of the best Banoffi pies are made here. And everything is so reasonably priced

Ordered a red velvet dark chocolate BIRTHDAY cake from here for my brother. It was just awesome! melts in your mouth :) even better they delivered it all the way to sahakarnagar just BEFORE 12am ! Making it a perfect surprise treat ! They are a lil expensive compared to your other cake places but trust me its worth it ~!

Let me start with the packaging which is decent.<br/>Quality of food : Average<br/>Taste: Good.<br/>Quantity of food : Poor. <br/>The raita was too watery and very very little and insufficient as you see in the pics.<br/>If you looking for a budget friendly meal and would like to share with another person this is a wrong meal to order as it isn't sufficient for one person only.<br/>Over all very UN-happy experience.

I visit this place at least monthly once. Me and my frnd love this place... They have an amazing menu. The quality of food is really awesome. This place is sure to try once.

Ordered Chicken tikka Pav, Kheema Pav, Egg burgi samosa, Paneer samosa & blueberry pound cake for a friday evening snack at my office for about 150 people, all the items were very tasty, a special standout was the egg burgi & paneer samosa (because i'm a veggie), got 4 varieties of pastries as a complementary on the order, of which the Red Velvet was just amazing !!!<br/><br/>The taste was so good that we actually fell short for rest of the team that logs in at the night.... <br/><br/>Thanks Team Fragrant Kitchen !!!!

When a query came up on FB asking for the best bakers in town, a friend vouched for Geetha Krishnan. Well, it was a great experience right from the start. I had to order a theme based cake for a friend's birthday, and Geetha was proactive to give me options, and I loved them all. My order was a coffee caramel theme cake and that looked perfect and tasted of nostalgia - like one of my favorite childhood cakes.   Now, I vouch for Geetha as one of the best bakers in town.

One fine evening, after work ordered some food to be delivered at home...<br/>Chicken Biryani was average...Mutton Curry was pathetic...The mutton pieces was so hard...Not properly cooked...Dal Fry was very spicy...Just spoiled the evening mood...Not a good place to order food from....

I ordered Biryani Rice, Half Tandoori Chicken, Pepper Chicken gravy and Plain Paratha( as they have only few types of parathas in there menus like methi, pudina, plain and tawa roti) for dinner through foodpanda. <br/><br/>Biryani rice was more of a pulao made of long grain rice. Pepper chicken was too spicy. That was just waste of taste. <br/>Tandoori chicken was tender and juicy. <br/><br/>Overall a regular experience, didn't get the yum feeling. Hoping for a better experience in future.

This review is based on home delivery.<br/>Firstly received order super late, in 90 min. Food was really not worth what I paid plus the delivery charges as it was delivered in one and half hours.<br/>Ordered pasta salad, not baked properly and garlic bread was looking like given from left out.<br/>This restaurent firstly should concentrate on taste of food and service.<br/>HappY Eating

I don't have much of an experience actually eating here but I do know that a lady from this place baked the perfect bachelorette cake for me. It was delicious, moist, and even though it was pretty sizeable, the folks at the party finished it in no time. Would definitely recommend that those who want their special day to be extra special could easily trust this place for that big order.
Nik Vasuki
I ordered a cake for a friend's bachelorette some time ago. The cake was a special one and was to have the right combination of flavors. I got the number of this establishment from a friend so I made the call. The owner was very helpful with selection; she showed me the various possible designs, the various flavor combinations, and gave me a good timeline. I didn't have to visit, all this was done over the phone. The day arrived and I went to collect it. And was I surprised! The cake was more beautiful than I had imagined, and there was a lot more cake than I thought! The price for this standard of baking was very good, I would have gladly paid 50% more for the same thing. My friends loved it and raved about it.<br/><br/>As far as the restaurant goes, I look forward to dining there. If the same care they gave this cake is given to the food, I am sure I will love it!
Shalu Pillai
Want to be told there is no cake minutes before your birthday party -Go here.<br/>Irresponsible & shameless - the owner switched his phone off & I had to leave with no cake. <br/>This even after I sent a reminder the previous evening & was assured delivery on time.

Delivery review.<br/>Got the delivery 1hr 10mins after the order was placed online. Quantity, one would feel s a tad bit less if it weren't for the offers & discounts available. <br/>Starters were very average.<br/>There was no sauce given for the burger which was unexpected. Burger patty seemed a bit over cooked. Fries were saltless.<br/>- Value for money is missing.<br/><br/>Overall, the I'd give it 2/5 and would not recommend delivery.

I went for the Sunday brunch. Ambience is normal, nothing much flowery. Place is too hot to sit for a long duration. While sitting there we saw atleast 10 swiggy orders dispatched from them, and we kept waiting for our order. It took them 20 mins to bring the first omelette then the next thing came after another 30 mins. Overall it was a pathetic service and ordinary quality of food. Online the price quoted is 300 for brunch but there they charged 400. Not at all recommended to go if you want to have some good time.
Ashish Khandelwal
Very ordinary place with a pathetic service and very ordinary food. Nothing worth craving for and the it takes forever to get simple things from menu to the table. Disappointed :(<br/>

Another lazy Saturday afternoon with no desire to cook prompting Swiggy to come to the rescue. With a variety of options to choose from I chose the rather safe route of hot dogs for junior and biryani for us adults. <br/><br/>The hot dogs were just fabulous. Creamy, cheesy, meaty with generous servings of jalapeños they left junior with a dil maange more kind of look.<br/><br/>The biryani was more of a pulao made with long grain rice but brilliant in taste. Three huge pieces of chicken in the biryani accompanied by raita and a super tasty curry.<br/><br/>Must order again choosing from a wider range of dishes.<br/><br/>Cheers,

I am a little split on this one. This one's located right in my backyard. I have been passing by this place since almost a year but have never tried it. Just out of curiosity went there last night with the wife. First the ambiance. It's a cute little place and I know couples and families would love it. Now to the food. Had read a lot about their sandwiches. Tried the smoked chicken sandwich and juicy burger. Now here's where I am split. We loved the sandwich and the burger but they were quite pricy. 130 bucks each. However I rarely visit cafes these days. So I am not sure how the prices weigh against other such eateries. However to take nothing from the establishment, the food was very well prepared. Before we ended our meal the hostess recommended the red velvet milkshake. I am not a desserts person but I have absolutely no doubt that people who are would love it. All in all I am pretty happy with the place and am most likely visiting again. But till then the final bill does leave a sour taste behind.

Good reviews on Zomato helped us reach this place...I must say very nice place for mouthwatering food!when we reached the place was empty was wondering how the food Will be...Fragrant Kitchen dint disappoint us :)<br/>Ambiance: Not a very fancy place but good if your just looking for some good food.<br/>Service: Was very helpful,Quick n good.<br/>Food: Masala Pepsi - not great, only Pepsi no Masala, Mushroom soup - was good,Barbeque chicken -Was so yummy that we had to order another plate,Prawn 65 -Was crispy n so tasty ordered another one,Chicken Kurkure- Crispy like the Kurkure with an amazing dip..yum!<br/>Tawa roti with chicken saguwala...too good!<br/>Chicken steak with pepper sauce...well done!<br/>Chicken n cheese sandwich...yummy!<br/>Masala omelette...very nice! Did I miss something,we all most covered the menu..they have so much choice and they did justice to all the dishes reasonably priced..they also do home delivery! It Only Takes One<br/><br/>It only takes one bad experience to outweigh the good. I ordered dinner from the restaurant on a Saturday night (9 pm). At around 10, I get a call from someone who didn't speak a word of English. I explained, in what Hindi I knew, how to get to my place (which seemed easy enough for other delivery men in the past). The guy overshot my turn off, went to a whole other street and then started telling me names of stores he saw. It got to the point where he had to ask some random man on the road to talk to me for directions. By this time, I had walked to the main road to get some sort of idea about where he is, so out went the "home" aspect of home delivery. <br/><br/>Another thing, I ordered food online, which logic would mean I wanted food to be PACKED and delivered (or picked up in some cases). My problem here is, why add the packing charges after you have given me my bill online (which clearly states PAY AMOUNT ____ to delivery guy). <br/><br/>So, when I am made to walk to the main road in the middle of the night and then told I have to pay MORE than the bill amount I was told, believe me when I say, I was cheesed off. Anyone who knows me can tell you I am a foodie and Fragrant Kitchen WAS one of my go-to places for a yum meal. This experience has made me change my tune.

I had eaten here once before a barbecue chicken burger and barbecue chicken wings. I was so disappointed that I was going to write a review immediately ranting about this place. In the end I felt I should give a second chance. N boy it was worth it! Had a chicken herb sandwich, chilly chicken samosa, cheese omelette and the best of all the red velvet milkshake! The sandwich we very good and the omelette decent but the samosa and the milkshake especially was unbelievably good. Maybe having so many cuisines is a bad idea but if u know what to order from this place u are in for a treat! Plus a special thanks to them for giving me a slice of plum cake as a gift! Very generous of u guys and I loved your food!

The restaurant is super pocket friendly. I had Alfredo pasta and Lasagna. The quality and the taste was amazing. 2 people can easily eat for ~Rs. 400. It's worth trying.

Mostly we order dinner from this place after a tired day in office. Although it has a good outlet near to my place still I have tried home delivery only. Quality and quantity of food is descent and worth for what you pay. Order comes on time. Must say very punctual. <br/><br/>My favorite from this place is their veg fried rice and stuffed parathas. Before I had a thought that they are good at snacks but their meals will also never disappoint you. We order veg always so can't comment on non-veg items.<br/><br/>I will definitely recommend this place. Looking forward to check the outlet in coming days. <br/><br/>Keep up the good service.<br/><br/>Cheers!!

Ordered for 3 simple dishes for home delivery. A salty chicken kadai floating in shocking amount of oil, a tasteless veg kurma and a dry veg pulav got delivered to us after an agonizing wait of 1hr 15 mins. Quantity is decent for the price but that's irrelevant considering the overall experience.

Sour Burgers, Its good if you like sour food. For some reason I feel they went wrong with my burger,  anyway my experience was bad with this place.Just had a few bites and couldn't go more. The chicken quiche was okie.

Delivery review - we ordered through food panda, looking at the decent reviews and foodie recommendations thought to give this place a try.. <br/><br/>We ordered potato wedges, BBQ chicken burger and the double whammy lamb burger via foodpanda. <br/><br/>A couple of minutes later got a call from Fragrant Kitchen saying they don't have potato wedges and if potato nuggets would do, and I had ordered for soft drinks while they were on the phone coz surprisingly can't order for soft drinks via foodpanda.. Weird <br/><br/>Well the delivery time was satisfactory they came in within 35-40 minutes. And guess what they did not pack the soft drinks :-( <br/><br/>Now for the food, I think I made a good decision by asking for the potato nuggets they were good. <br/><br/>However the burgers were a little bit of a let down, it was decent but missed the jalapeños as mentioned in the menu, no mayo, got cheese instead on both of the burgers. <br/><br/>I like my patty to be juicy and melting as in treated well. But the double whammy lamb patty was a bit rough on the teeth.. <br/><br/>Overall a regular experience, dint get the yum feeling which wants you to try out more from the menu another time... <br/><br/>

Economic place, especially when someone is giving a treat ;) The gobi and potato starters were really good and were gone by the time I could take photos :P as it took a seemingly endless wait for the food to come. And again the wait continued for the main course ... and definitely not worth such a  long wait with just moderately good food.

Besides the Croma , goes a small lane which leads to this cafe. It's small cheeky place , serving cuisines in likes of chinese, north Indian, Italian under one roof.<br/><br/>I went with one of my office mate and as soon as we entered the place was deserted. The menu was pretty interesting and we were excited to try out some thing from each cuisine. <br/><br/>Chicken kurkure ,was quite intersting ,fried chicken in the kurkure shaped and it was nice. Spring rolls were bit oily . Juicy chicken burger was stacked with meat, veggies and enough mayo . Tender lamb was juicy and well cooked. <br/><br/>Chicken biryani wasn't that impressive . <br/><br/>Mocha/Cafe frappe were nice beverages which we didn't regret.<br/><br/>Since the place wasn't crowded so manager and waiters were addresable and we did customise the dishes as per our taste. <br/><br/>Nice place to visit and try out different  food items..

Fragrant Kitchen for me is "anoder home"... My husband and me didn't want to travel too far that particular night during our first visit to fragrant kitchen.. after a long long day we were tired as hell .. when we saw the menu it was short and sweet and we ordered a few things like a miser like we always do when we go to a new place.<br/>the first appetiser we ordered was "paneer65" believe me that ONLY dish made us feel we are at the right place. and then the order list went on and on.. pav bhaji .. kheema pav... penne alfredo... cheesy fries... dal fry.. parathas... rotis.. omg..!!! how can i forget the awesome dessert... the pastries had the homemade vibe in it.. and my fav apple pie which our kind hearted Geeta had complimented us as they are soon celebrating two years anniversary for "FK".. after our first visit i believe we had several visits for some home made food.. what i like about FK is the quantity and quality both .. Geeta has an awesome vision to embrace many visitors and m sure someday she will be a successful entrepreneur.. i still remember how me and my husband were curious on the first day to know who the owners of FK are... we want FK to have a waiting list people..!!! Go and enjoy some succulent delicious food out there. Cheers Akanksha..

I work in Manyata, and love to try and explore all the options available around it. I was looking around for a restaurant for a Friday lunch, and I came across this place on Zomato. What got me interested in this place was, of course the rating firstly, apart from that its menu looked pretty wierdly different. They were offering all possible cuisines under just 1 roof ranging from, continental to chinese to North Indian to Kerala cuisine. Pretty weird and good at the same time eh? All kinds of cuisines with such a good rating... I definitely wanted to try this out.<br/><br/>We were welcomed by almost pin-drop silence as the place was empty. We were all excited to try a lot of things, as the menu showcased a lot of dishes. We ordered for our dishes with the help of the steward / manager, as a couple of items that we had ordered, like the ravioli, were not available.<br/><br/>The waiter seemed to be more than happy to serve us with a big smile on his face, ready at our service even before we could call out to him.<br/><br/>All the dishes were pretty good enough, except for the mashed potato - which was too dilute, i could taste more milk n cream in it, than the potato itself; and the Mac n cheese - there was less of 'Mac' n more of 'Cheese and cream' which made it taste just so-so.<br/><br/>It looked like they were very good at custom-made cakes (from the pics on Zomato). Yet to try it out though.<br/><br/>If they could correct these minute things, that would make all the more difference.<br/><br/>Food - 3.5 / 5<br/><br/>Ambiance - 2 / 5<br/><br/>Service - 4/5<br/><br/>Value - 3.5/5

Rating: - 1 (minus)<br/>Very worst taste ever.  Im writing this review just after lunch which is delivered by Fragrant Kitchen Kalayan Nagar, Kalyan Nagar Bangalore,  I have ordered chicken briyani n chicken lollypop. There is NO salt, NO spicy , NO tasty and this not at all briyani.

(Delivery review)<br/><br/>We placed an order online after hearing a lot about them. Though the Menu on Zomato seems elaborate, they haven’t offered everything of that in FoodPanda selections.<br/><br/>Of whatever was mentioned, we tried the BBQ potatoes, Mashed Potatoes and Veg Kurkures for the starters and the Fiery Veg Burger and BBQ Veg Burger for the mains.<br/><br/>The BBQ potatoes were supposed to be baby potatoes barbequed according to the description on the menu. However, what we got seemed regular potatoes cooked in Texas Style BBQ sauce. It wasn’t bad, but felt high in sodium. Mashed Potatoes were okay but sweet and until mid-meal I thought that was some dip sent alongside. The consistency of the mashed potatoes was like Dosa batter! Veg Kurkure was good and felt like comfort food but what I didn’t like was that they forgot to send me the ‘house-made’ hot sauce as per the menu portrayal. The Veg Burgers, both of them, were good!<br/><br/>Moolah – Rs: 525 for the above food which included Rs.75 of container charges. Had I placed the order directly from the restaurant, it would have been Rs.475!<br/><br/>Pros: Extensive menu (not everything is available for delivery on foodpanda so call the restaurant directly), some options taste good.<br/><br/>Cons: Small Portions, Container Charges are exorbitant – Even food that is wrapped in aluminum foil or is in cardboard box have packing charges. Slow delivery - probably there were many that day!<br/><br/>Suggestions to the Management – Considering you are a cafĂ©, Rs.100 for a sole veg burger can be made to look good if you can offer a teaspoon of coleslaw and maybe 5-6 fries alongside. <br/><br/>Recommended – I would suggest to go to the cafĂ© to try out the menu instead of getting food delivered home.

Ambiance - 2.5/5 Service - 3/5 Food - 3/5 Price - 3/5 <br/><br/>"Fragrant Kitchen" was visited with many expectations and food-choices in mind. However, not all of our needs were fulfilled. From cheese cake to chicken lasagne, we didn't get anything we had in mind :( <br/><br/>Nevertheless, our experience was neither too-bad :) So, here is our story. We ordered #ChocolateMousse #AppleTart #StuffedKulcha #SweetCornMunchrian #ChickenPopCorn. <br/>1) The Apple tart tasted home made. It was fresh, soft and moderately sweet. <br/>2) Chocolate Mousse was conventional but it had a very smooth texture.<br/>3) I would certainly say they need to improve their chicken popcorn. <br/>4) Kulcha was right from the factory! ;p perfect in every angle .. Exactly what we wanted. <br/>5) Corn munchurian left us puzzled for a moment, we pondered if it was chicken or corn. Alas, it was corn :) indeed ! <br/>Meeting the owners and being served by them, added more charisma to our dinner. They were sweet and prompt with what they had in store. On the whole, we paid â‚č580 which was totally within budget and affordable. Perhaps, I would say cost and quantity were exponentially related.<br/><br/>So let's get this straight, Fragrant Kitchen is not a high end place - don't hit this place with a fancy entrance, posh chairs, comfy interiors and sound music in mind ; instead, focus on food n only food :)

Tried their new sea food special menu . An absolute delight on the palette. The fish curry was made from fresh fish and succulent. The meen varuthadu was cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice . A must try !!

The burgers are quite good. Definitely try the Tender Lamb Burger, or if you're really hungry, the Double Whammy Lamb burger. Hot Dogs are good too - try the Lost World Hot Dog as the other reviewer has mentioned. The only issue I had with this place was with home delivery - I ordered the combo and it came without coke. The fries were not as good as they serve in the restaurant either. But that apart, worth a try.

I ordered a cake for my dads 60th birthday celebration from here. When I went there to discuss the cake the owner and the chef assured me that the cake would look really pretty. It even cost me a bomb for the cake. Also I was given all kind of explanations saying they couldn't put fresh fruits in fondant cakes and fondant flowers over a fresh cream cake. Since I was a bit pushed for things I said whatever just make sure the cake looks really good and the taste is excellent. I was not disappointed in the taste but the looks of the cake was pretty average. In fact the only fondant on the cake was the 60 which looked like it had been modeled by a kid. Definitely not a place to order cakes for special occasions. Regular cakes taste good though.

A bunch of us were all at a friends place, we were scouting for a restaurant for some quick lunch which was nearby because we were not in the mood to drive anywhere far off. So we stumbled upon this tiny eatery which was just around the corner. <br/><br/>Fragrant kitchen is a cozy little restaurant located on the first floor of a building on Chelikere main road. The decor is very warm and homey. <br/><br/>We ordered Hot dogs, a Nutella Milkshake and a garlic bread with cheese. <br/>First off, the garlic bread with cheese was really nice, I just wish there were more than three tiny slices. The Nutella Milkshake was just about okay, nothing Nutella-ish about it, it seems more like a chocolate milkshake made out of the powdered drinking chocolate, not worth experimenting. The hot dogs were pretty good, they have a variety of choices under the hot dogs section, which I thought was interesting. So I got the 'Say Cheese' hot dog, it was with two layers of melted cheese, but the disappointing factor about this was, for a cheese hot dog they had put the normal sandwich cheese and melted it, I personally would have preferred mozzarella cheese,it holds more value to the dish's name, otherwise it was tasty and filling. My friend got the 'Lost world' which is a hot dog with a double chicken sausage, this is superb and a must try!<br/><br/>Dining here was just a satisfactory experience. The food is decent, but not all that pocket friendly but it fulfills the bare minimum needs. Hoping for a better experience in the future. <br/><br/>Cheers!

Food is pretty standard light on the pocket as well but came here as WiFi was mentioned, but there was none so please remove the WiFi option.

Decent reviews on Zomato led us to Fragrant Kitchen. The roads leading to the side gully on which FK is situated were a put-off. We were not sure if we had taken the right decision to step in here, but just figured there would be no harm trying.<br/><br/>A simple, small, modest and not very well decorated restaurant, we were not sure of what to expect here.<br/>Ordered a plate of spring rolls, palak cutlets, spinach and corn ravioli and a Fiery burger. Each dish was a standout. Brilliant taste, clean and light on the stomach. The spring rolls were crisp fried to perfection with not a trace of oil on them. Similar case with the Palak cutlet.<br/>The ravioli is a must try !!! Of course we spiced it up with chilli flakes and oregano, but as such it made a great main course. The fiery burger that ensued, was again a great dish. We happened to notice on the notice board outside that they were offering a free Milkshake for a bill amount above Rs 300, and so we picked a strawberry milkshake which proved to be a fitting finale to the meal.<br/>Moolah : Rs.410 for all the above.<br/>Worth mentioning that the staff are really sweet and served us with a smiling face always (while enjoying the NZ-WI semifinals)<br/><br/>Fragrant Kitchen though located in a sidey by-lane does the  job for a hungry person. I am quite sure of going back again, specially to try out their famous desserts.<br/><br/>Ambiance  - 3/5<br/>VFM - 5/5<br/>Food - 4.5/5<br/>Service - 4/5

Having sampled their Continental fare, French would serve well. <br/><br/>I believe the word is, amuse-bouche: small bites in between courses. One problem, though - we hoped we would be served the courses, but what we got were small bites. Amuse-bouche...not amusing even when you aren't remotely famished.<br/><br/>We ordered in on a Sunday. Lasagna, Spaghetti with meat balls and Biryani made for an unseemly trio, but the upsized molecular gastronomy was certainly disproportionate punishment. The Italian food boxes fit snugly in either palm. The Biryani, mercifully, constituted a regular portion.<br/><br/>The quantity or lack of it did not redeem the taste or authenticity, quite sadly. The Lasagna was a hurriedly put together cheese wrap with ground meat as opposed to the layered, luscious treat it is supposed to be. The Spaghetti tied itself up in taste knots, with tiny, dry meatballs that smacked of Southern spice. Not southern Italy, southern India.<br/><br/>Well, I could have gone easy, but a jolt does do wonders to complacency. The Biryani, for instance, was the one dish that defied it. Nice and light with a hint of home cooked nostalgia.<br/><br/>I do wish this piece does what it's intended to: get the entrepreneurs to wake up and sample the fragrances before they leave the kitchen.

The jumbo burgers aint jumbo enough, the steak was just chicken cutlets dipped in a hell lot of sause, THE CHICKEN ROAST SANDWICH WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING that i ate, the fries went out for a walk in the rain before they got delivered i guess, the caremel tart was brilliant and finaly the free cocolate sandwiches weren't free cause i didnt get any sandwiches.

Have visited fragrant kitchen immediately after their new makeover and was completely surprised with the new decor. The staff is very friendly and also gives enough time to decide on the menu. The cupcakes and cookies on made to order are really good , the simple French fries with cheese also has some kind of magic in it. Haven't had much of food here but what ever has been really good and looking forward to eat again

We ordered in from here and were very pleased with the flavours.<br/><br/>Lamb Burger - The meat was very tender and full of flavour with a slight crispy exterior to the patty. Absolutely wonderful<br/>Chicken Steak Burger - Again the meat was very tender and full of flavour.<br/>Thick Shakes - Ferrero Rocher & Cookies and Cream. Tasty but not as thick as desired.<br/>Bill for all of the above was Rs.600/=.<br/><br/>Suggestions - Please increase the size of your burgers and make the thick shakes thicker.<br/><br/>Look forward to tasting the other dishes on their Menu. Will update once done.

My husband, kid and I wanted a quiet mid week dinner last evening and we went to TFK. Having heard so much about it from our apartment folks I was eager to try them out. Loved the pasta arabiatta, my grilled fish with boiled veg and the smoothest mashed potatoes ever was divine and so was the chicken strogg. that my husband ordered. I'd love to try their sunday brunch sometime. The fact is that the food was not restuarant quality - it was home quality - really nicely done!! I'm surely getting friends who love good food to come and join us for a meal there.<br/><br/>Why a 4 and not a perfect 5 coz i saw a cockroach hanging around near our table. Also didnt like some cardboard boxes stuffed in one corner of the room.

Prompt service, good food, excellent prices- nothing more needs to be said. This is a standard order-in for the family. My personal favorite here would have to be the pastas, especially the spinach and corn rigatoni & the mushroom pasta. And given these are vegetarian options, from a non-vegetarian, it's a huge compliment. Keep up the good work and ordering again this weekend, for sure!

I had heard about 'The Fragrant Kitchen' from a friend and wanted to check it out.<br/>I ordered the Penne pasta with Alfredo sauce and loved it! My friend ordered Chapathis with Veg Kurma and that was excellent as well. Overall, we enjoyed the dinner and we highly recommend this place.

TFK is just 2 blocks away and it has never disappointed me! Either it be special themed cakes or great plum cakes - it was / has been a star! <br/>Coming to the food, being a strict vegetarian, I 'm always skeptical going to Non-Veg included Kitchen. But Geetha took care of that showing the kitchen to us and explaining how they separately cook veg food (more confidence came in when she said she was herself a strict veg). <br/><br/>My favorites have always been the Veg Burger Combo (just love the Patty..slurrp!) and burger bread. But then came in the great Kerala Combo - Kerala Parota and Green Peas Masala. I remember the times when we have devoured them...<br/>Can't include the entire tried out spread here - but veggies - look out for the crackling spinach and dahi kabab as well. Not to forget their amazing pastas as well.<br/><br/>TFK is more an elevating taste experience rather than a just a eatery!<br/><br/>Cudos to the team who run the show!

I am a total TFK fan and so is my son Arjun, who has given a glowing review in writing to this wonderful Cafe! <br/>Last week my friends and I had Sunday Brunch with out kids and loved the choices on the menu... The veg and non-veg starters were yummy, the pasta superlative and the lasagna, one of my favorite dishes, made just right! <br/>Special mention to the dessert which was chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream! The kids totally stuffed themselves and we did too!<br/>Geetha's warm welcome and her courteous staff made our lunch all the more memorable....<br/>Will definitely recommend to my friends and visit again with my family!

I visited The Fragrant Kitchen on the 7th of February. Outwardly, it looked a very inconspicuous eatery, located in the first floor of a building right opposite a busy educational institution, and atop a busy local bakery selling goodies to the students. But one step into the restaurant, and the first thing that strikes you is the vibrant, colorful yet simple decor... and the warmth of the staff and the owner.<br/>Being a vegetarian, I felt my choice of dishes will be limited, as is the case with many other eateries...but again, I was in for a surprise... From the starters to the main course, to the dessert - vegetarian choice was available in plenty. The salad was fresh.... the sprouts were crunchy.... the crispy fried Okra was just awesome!<br/>The main course chosen was Indian - soft Rotis with Panner Butter masala... This is the first eatery where I have had the healthiest Panner Butter masala - with just the right amount of masala, and with minimum oil! <br/>The finale was the dessert and yes, they were just mind blowing!!! - the Mango Bavarian and the Signature Symphony series.... a real treat......<br/><br/>All in all, an INSANE experience..... which will keep teasing my taste-buds for a long time to come!

My tastebuds have never been disappointed with the fine gourmet dishes of FK. My wallet has never felt burdened either. The lamb burger is one to try. Also the hot chocolate with the marshmallows is a must have. I can still smile at the memory of the premium plum cake and the cinamon custard, seasonal of course!

The fragrance wont last for long if they don't buck up. Taken in by buzz on social media, we decided to give this one a try. And boy were we disappointed. <br/><br/>We decided to stay simple and even that seemed to be a strain on the chef. The burger was average. Persian kebab that was salty, coffee that was a hastily mixed concoction of milk and a wee bit of coffee powder. But the most intriguing question I had on my mind when I left was, how can anyone go wrong with fish and chips? The batter was cracked and fried to a dirty brown. The fish still had skin on, quite an unappetizing sight. The waiter looked surprised when we asked for tartar sauce, he didn't have any and he gave us tomato sauce as consolation. <br/><br/>The saving grace? The steward who tried his best to keep us engaged with the menu for Sunday Brunch....Well, no thanks.

I was in "The fragrant Kitchen" last Sunday. I had an awesome time and i feel the team is on its way to making it big. Very friendly staff who always had smiles on their faces, desire to serve and cant forget to mention Geetha, who was a super-star all throughout. The food was also excellent, barring a small mishap with paani in paani puri, which is totally understandable considering the turnout they had.<br/><br/>If am determined to find a negative, i may say the ambiance is on the downside. But let's face it. How else can such a decent spread be priced 175/- including tax if they bring a Birmingham palace theme?? But that never stopped me from enjoying the excellent food. All was great and had an awesome time. My request Geetha, if you are stopping this promotion, please do let us know 2 weeks in advance ;) <br/><br/>Fragrant kitchen team - Allow me to give you some tips to further earn applause -<br/>1. Against every item you have spread in the table, please put name boards, along with diet tag (veg, non-veg, contains egg) etc<br/>2. The containers should have attached lids, so that i dont struggle in keeping the lid somewhere when i help myself with the mouth watering food. <br/>3. Please dont forget that you are a blessed cake maker. So make every attempt to get attention to the muffins, mousse, cakes etc. This should be followed with a pamphlet of the services you provide as much as out-door catering goes (if you are serious about exploring out door catering as a line itself). I was surprised to see that you make wonderful theme cakes, but never really bothered to advertise.

I heard about 'The Fragrant Kitchen' from one of the Facebook groups I am part of. Visited this outlet last evening. It is located on Chelekere Main Road just opposite Bangalore City College. Parking may be an issue since the road is narrow and there is a supermarket on the ground floor.<br/><br/>The restaurant was empty when we reached. There are about 8-10 tables with what looked like an additional party area. The outlet is well lit and air-conditioned (I did not like the smell of the room freshener though!). I liked the chairs as they were different (made of plastic but looks like iron).<br/><br/>There is small display with cupcakes, cookies and pastries. The menu includes most of the continental items and also some kebabs. We ordered a chicken burger (they have a combo option which comes with fries and a soft drink) and barbecue chicken. The burger was good and reasonably priced. The barbecue chicken too was ok, but I felt the quantity was a little too less. We also ordered a chocolate cupcake with frosting which was average.<br/><br/>Overall a quiet place for an evening out.
