Review Just Khao Suey - Bengaluru

Mangera Mangera
The food tasted wonderful and brought back many memories of khawsay of Surat, Gujarat. I would visit it again! I travelled from a far distance to have this amazing dish!
Ayanti Mullick
We visited this place 3 months ago. We ordered Mandalay combo. We liked this place and the food as well. Burmese coconut souffle was yummy.
Vaibhav Bajaj
The food is very good and very authentic. We ordered a Burmese khow suey with egg as an add on. The dish was rich in flavours with quantity enough for a single person. The place is value for money as well. Moreover, you can try the deserts as well. It is located in the corner near to gobble churros. Visit the place when in Indiranagar.
Gopidas D
Excellent food and really affordable too. It feels more like a takeaway but the food is so yum and authentic. Totally loved the khausuey and their passion chilly soda is a must try!
Mukul Pati Singh
Nice small eatery with tasty food. Even though the menu is not extensive, the items are good. The staff are so courteous that you would love to eat.

Quick service,Tatsy food, good quantity, Quality food. Must try the coconut sweet. I've been here twice and would love to go back. For people who don't know what kind of food this is and hesitate to try it.. Don't hesitate do give it a try, you would love it. 👍

Absolutely love the Burmese style Khao Suey and Momos at this place. The kitchen looks super clean and we'll maintained. Flavors are very subtle and distinctive

Great Burmese food, only for Thai lovers! Their momos are also Juicy and thin layered along with the awesome passion fruit Mocktail combo 🎉

The place is awesome. Very very tasty food. Make your own bowl. I could customize my noodle cup with tofu and peanuts. Amazing taste. If you are hungry and something spicy and tangy on your mind, hit this place.
Sindhu S
Very authentic taste. Burst of flavours in each bite. Good portions. Loved the taste of spiced coconut milk dipped food. Dessert was just right on taste. Simple decor. Clean space. Nicely designed. You can just walk, sit down and enjoy a bowl of fresh hot Suey. Tummy and soul happy

Amazing food! Tried 3 different types of Khao Sueys and all were just really good. Really friendly staff and the lady running the kitchen is just so enthusiastic about helping us customers out. I've been there at least 10 times now. This is where I take my friends to impress them.
Aritreyee Chaudhuri
Loved the food here. We had ordered for the 2 combos. The 2 bowls of Khao suey was great and so were the momos and the coconut souffle dessert. The beverages passion chilli and lemon basil exceeded expectations and the service was quick and courteous too. And all this for less than 600! Certainly going back for more next time 😊
Amritha Sindhu
Chicken momos were yummy but the thai suey didn't do it for me, mostly because I don't like the taste of coconut oil/milk in my food. Going to try the noodles bowl next time though. Also, the staff can make some effort and be warm to the customers
Vedant Rajput
A perfect blend of all flavours. If you want some exotic and good food consider to eat here. You can also choose from a variety of options available to make your own specialized box which I personally think would be perfect for those who have a specific taste.

For people who want to taste the Burmese flavors. The Khao Suey. I went to this place with friends who knew about the Burmese food and flavours and they liked it ! Ms Smitha who Owns the place was there when we reached, she was so down to earth, taking our orders, giving us suggestions, asking our personal preferences, making our Khaosuey experience awesome.
Leo M
Zero hygiene. Infested with mosquitoes. Maybe a place only for take aways. Food was good but looking at attitude of staff there, I wonder how fresh/clean they are.
Partha S Banerjee
Very average place, an excellent opportunity lost given the prime location. There's only one guy who can explain the items on the menu. Seating could be tricky if you're more than 4 in a group. Food is very average in the already limited menu
Somnath Chatterjee
Pretty authentic and I have had Khao suey across the globe. Wonder why there is a MOMO in the lunch combo though. They do have some rice varieties of you are super Hungary.
Ramesh Narayan
I've only ordered food from there. outstanding .always order the Khao Suey, and I've lived and worked in the Far East. I think its moderately real, but the point is, it's always tasty, and surely that is what matters.net net? Love it
Hormis Joseph George
The best Khao Sueys in town. Always keeps me going back for more. In love with all the varieties, so it's always a rollercoaster for me to choose from the 4. Recently tried their rice with gravies and now I guess I have new favourites here. Thank you for those warm bowls of happiness :)
Siby Kuruvilla
The best Khao Suey in town, The passion fruit chilli juice just blew mind away, even the coconut soffule is a must try, over all a good experience
Philip John
If you like khao suey or burmese cuisine, you'll love this place. Their khao suey is easily the best in Bangalore, miles ahead of the others . They have several kinds of khao suey and the food is flavourful and very well-balanced. The pricing is just right. The people are very helpful too. If you haven't checked it out, you most certainly should. You're bound to become a regular.
Shweta Thakur
I love khaosuey and ordered it here. Didn't quite like it because it didn't taste authentic. It lacked the original flavour of khaosuey and was more a curry version of it.

Wasn’t looking for this place but stumbled across it and I’m so glad I did. Really lovely service - had a nice chat with the owner whilst waiting and then took takeaway - The portion size was excellent & the food itself was delicious!! Will 100% be back 😃
Anita Shah
Must say, very generous with the quantity. I ordered the veg wok tossed noodles with the chilly sauce. While it tasted great, it was too spicy to finish the whole thing. Guess I'll order the peanut sauce next time. The only drawback was the lack of AC. The fan barely reaches the high seats area
Ann Geo
This restaurant has a nice simple feel and service was really quick. We tried the Classic Burmese Khaosuey veg which has a nice, slightly spicy flavour and tasted good. The Momo's tasted average.
The chicken noodles tasted good, but the best part was the coconut souffle - delicious!
Nikita Jhunjhunwala
Ordered a classic veg khaosuey. The packaging was good. What I got in the box was separate boiled noodles, a cup of spicy red gravy with handful of carrots or something (very very less vegetables), a packet of red chilli powder, a box of chopped coriander and spring onion leaves with a slice of lemon and box of fried onion, garlic and small pieces of noodles.
Overall the taste was okay but it was more salty than required. Somehow I had high expectations of this place as they only specialise in Khaosuey but it did not match them. They could add more veggies to the gravy. It was really negligible bits of carrot and onions. They could also add more toppings to the dish.
Oindrila Mandal
The concept is good but food here is very disappointing. I ordered a chicken Khao Suey which had EXACTLY ONE tiny piece of chicken. Not sure if they forgot to add more chicken or accidentally dropped a piece of chicken in a vegetarian soup. I also ordered their coconut souffle for dessert, as it is such a unique item to have on the menu. I received a laughably tiny bowl of coconut flavoured payasam/custard hybrid thing. This restaurant is as far from authentic as you can get.

I would have given it a 3.5 but since decimal is not allowed I have rated it 3. I ordered in through Zomato and got a 40% off. Items ordered-

Classic Burmese Khaosuey veg - I really liked the flavour and tasted good. I would definitely reorder their Khao suey. When you order in, the noodles and the gravy come separately and you need to mix it

Veg wok tossed noodles- Very spicy and hence could not eat it. Noodle outlets are a dime a dozen, refrain from ordering from here as it is definitely not the best

Eggless dark chocolate mousse - Dark chocolate mousse cakes are not very common and this one has the right consistency and perfect dark chocolatey taste

I would rate it overall as 3.5.
Packaging - 4.5 ( extremely sturdy and leakage proof)

Janani
We ordered 2 Khao Sueys from here. One was the classic Burmese Khao Suey and the other was Thaisuey veg. Both were impeccably packed, with more than sufficient quantity for the prices charged and super yummy - the combination of coconut base with peanuts, green onions and noodles is simply marvellous.

Certainly trying out more!
Aameer Rafiq Wani
Tried classic burmese khao suey chicken combo here (since they serve halal) . Food was really tasty. Portions are huge, by the time we finished we were stuffed. I tried the combo but didn't like the lemon soda with basil leaves it was little too sweet. Restaurant has a nice simple feel and service was really quick. Momo's weren't not that great. Would still highly recommend them for their khao suey.
Anand Prakash
Small and cosy place to be at. The food itself is not extraordinary and I wasn't quite convinced of the taste. The crew is polite and attentive but somehow the food itself did not make it for me.
Basabi Ghosh
Khao suey is something new that I tried. Tom suey and the classic one. The gravy had a creamy coconut flavor. Along with the nuts and noodles it was so balanced. A very full filling meal indeed. They serve everything fresh. Pocket friendly. Recommended !!

Was craving a ramen bowl on a Saturday night and came across this place on Swiggy. We ordered the Burmese Khaosuey chicken bowl and the Nutty suey bowl. The coconut flavour of the Burmese bowl was strong and brilliant. The bringal in the nutty suey bowl was quite different but paired perfectly with nut infused broth :) loved their packaging as well.

Overall a Saturday meal done right! Will be ordering from here again :)
Anu Satish
Well. The place was quite small but cute enough to hangout. And the choice of dish is quite less. But if u wanna have some good Burmese food you can go for it. Most of the dish has coconut milk as a base. So if u enjoy the food with enough richness and sweetness you can go for it. And yeah. The quantity is really sufficient for a person to be stomach full and the price is also reasonable.

Craving for Burmese, head here and I assure you it won’t hurt your pocket either.
Wonderful combos to choose from. I loved the Khao suey combo. Don’t you forget to end your perfect meal with overloaded chocolate mousse!

To sum it up it’s a small place with tasty Burmese food. And the smile with which stuff feeds you is a plus one.
Arnab Bose
Was excited to try the new place. Ordered from the combo. The khaosuey arrived before the starters. The taste was very very average. All the ingredients were randomly chucked in, tossed and served. Also tried the chicken noodles with pea nut sauce. That was a disappointment too. The only thing worth a remark would be the desserts. definitely they can do alot with the selection of food type and the place they have. Don't think am going back here again.
Anjali
I ordered the Chicken Khaosuey via Swiggy. All the components came in individual boxes/containers (and could have been hot instead of cold) and had to be assembled; silver lining, it can be customized to taste...

The price quantity ratio is fair, the taste could be better.
Rishi Soumya
Had ordered from this place. Ordered Thaisuey Chicken. All the components arrived separately. It tasted really amazing. Do give this place a visit when you want to try something different. It costs around 250 bucks and quite filling.
Ameena
Flavors need improvement. It had chunks of dry overcooked chicken. It’s just not khao suey. Sorry. Also condiments should be served separately and not mixed inside the bowl.

I'm in the quest of exploring Pan Asian delicacies in and around the city. Just Khao suey happened to be on one among those bookmarked restaurants i wanted to visit. Went here with friends to try their delectables.

Ambiance: Small bright place with lively atmosphere and welcoming staff. Nothing much to add other than that.

Food:
Classis Burmese Khousuey Veg
Thaisuey Veg
Nuttysuey Non Veg
Wok tossed Chicken noodles with Red chilli sesame
Steamed chicken momos
Orange mint cooler

So, the base of the khaousey is always noodles. It is topped with mushrooms, carrots, babycorn, spring onion, beans, fried garlic and onion and garnished with chopped legumes. What actually differentiates the dishes is the coconut milk broth and the lemon zest. This is a simple yet elegant dish which experiments with your taste buds. There are so many chords ringing at the same time.

Wok tossed noodles was fresh, the chicken strips were cooked to tender and the dish was topped with peanuts.

Momos were really spot on. Not too chewy. Tasted fabulous with the schzeuan sauce.

All in all, a very positive experience. Loved the dishes offered and would definitely recommend others to give them a shot.
Pratheek Prakash
Unique experience with great tasting food. Had a great time. Each bowl of Khao suey has so many flavours.

Would recommend this to anyone wanting to try something out of the ordinary.
Neeta Ganapathi
The food here is too good! Soul food!
A must try..
Was recommended this place by a friend and tried it and was not at all disappointed!!
Look forward to eating here more often!
The classic khaosuey is the best!!
Nadir Aslam (Biryani Badshah)
My first visit and also my first time eating Khao Suey so I don't have a benchmark to rate the taste with.

I was recommended the classic Chicken Khao Suey and I was quite impressed with the taste though I felt the portion was a little small for that price.

Good smiling service by the lady manning the cash counter. I have 1 suggestion for them to ensure water is served without having the need to ask.

Next time I'm in the vicinity I'll definitely visit.

Don't mind the pics the food was soo good all i could do was eat but later had to give a thumbs up...This place is awesome for anyone who likes to experiment with new styles of food, who loves to explore an amazing place, friendly staff and a super welcoming owner😊😊.

A must try place I must say and sorry again for the bad pics😋😋😋😋

Awesome place to hang on late night and have authentic Burmese food. In desert, give a try to Burmese coconut souffle and dark chocolate mousse. Friendly Environment.

Been wanting to try JK since quite some time, thanks to rave reviews, so when I read it had started delivery, couldn’t resist ordering.
We ordered momos and khaosuey ( both veg) and it was simply amazing. The careful packed noodles, gravy, toppings tasted fresh, full of flavour and made for a filling & satisfying meal ! Both me and my teen son highly recommend :)
Saqubar Sadique
The place looks neat and good for a chat, hangout and eat. The food taste was good, though their menu had limited items ,the portion was enough for one person.
Remya Thomas
The main course khao suey is not big on flavour/ texture. Just ok. We had the chicken and there were hardly any pieces in the dish. The momos aren't great either. In indiranagar there are plenty of momo st. Vendors who sell better and cheaper stuff. The place has only one family seater. Not advisable to go there in a large crowd. Overall just an OK sort of place. Nothing that stands out.
Ayesha Aleem
Loved the nuttysuey. Lots of peanuts and a really balanced, delicious flavour. Plus, it wasn’t overwhelmingly heavy despite being a dish of coconut milk. Great that it’s now possible to get this food in a convenient, casual format instead of visiting a star hotel. We’ll likely go back again.
Aditya Basu
Cold evenings and a growling tummy! I just looked at this amazing place and ordered a classic Khaosuey combo, which had a nice, scrumptious portion and had a very simple and delicate flavour of Burmese origin, also the momos were juicy and the chili passion fruit drink is a must try! Keep up the good work fellas! Hope to visit again soon

I wasn't entirely pleased with the taste. I expected quite alot from this place. I ordered the Classic Burmese Khao Suey. Disappointed I would say.
Also, the cashier was supposed to give me â‚č10 but requested to give it before I left as he didn't have the exact amount at that particular time. I left the place having forgotten I was supposed to get back the remaining amount even if it was â‚č10 and the cashier didn't once bother giving it back to me. Had I not remembered, gone back to the restaurant and asked him for the change, I'm quite sure I wouldn't get it back. As his duty, he should've remembered and given it back even if it was a small amount.
Arushi
Tried the classic khao suey, very disappointing!
Below average to taste!
Vegetables were randomly put in - no onion or zucchini. The tofu tasted very off! Never seen peas in this dish before !
Got this delivered , hence the pic.

Nice ambience and friendly staff. Food was alright. We ordered a veg classic Khow Suey combo, which consisted of a classic Khow Suey, 2 momos, a beverage and a dessert. While the rest of the food was good, Khow Suey was a bit of a let down. It was a bit bland and we missed the fun element of having the DIY toppings, since they were already mixed in. Must mention though that the restaurant was open to feedback, hope they implement the same. The price point is really pocket friendly.
Soumya Mohapatra
Had veg paneer momos..... hidious. Too oily.No taste ..look like am having it on road side stalls.please deliver some good hygenic food not bullshit .
Wish they listen and work on it.
Coffee_n_Muffins (Monideepa Chandra)
This is kinda anew discovery..I have ordered classic khao suey and peanut khao suey both are yummy in taste..But the sticky chicken skewers was total off..The chicken piece was not good and after having a bite I could see a red patch of blood.. and the taste was also not good. Next time I will only stick to Khao Sueys probably
Sonal
They serve authentic yummy khao suey with fresh ingredients. Tried both veg and chicken options. Momos are extremely good. Must try their classic/original version.
Shravan G Ram
Nice and flavourful Khao Sueys.
A suggestion:
Drinking water should be automatically given/placed at every table and we shouldn’t have to come and ask.
Basics.

Had an intense momo craving since last night. So today I just went out with a mission to gorge on some of those amazing momos ❀
Today by chance I happened to stumble upon this amazing place called @justkhaosuey in Indira nagar, 80feet road.
Tiny quaint little cafe with seating arrangement of around 10-12 people...This place is an absolute delight! Limited menu with Burmese delicacies I absolutely loved this place. The staff was extremely sweet and helpful. I had a plateful of chicken momos. ❀ It was juicy, proportionately sized and satisfied my unsatisfied soul without burning a hole in the pockets 😂
Super excited to try other things on the menu as well! 😊
Must try!!
I've never been here, but I ordered food from here tonight. Their classic Burmese Khao Suey had generic veggies like corn, carrot, beans, peas (welcome to the land of no imagination - that is the starter pack for any boring old veggie mix let alone positioning themselves as a Khao Suey speciality restaurant), the coconut milk felt like it hadn't mixed well enough with the other ingredients, the khao suey itself was really terrible and off balance - and the noodles came drenched in oil.
As did the steamed momos.
Had to throw it all out just eat a sandwich. For a great Khao Suey - Do check out On the Edge's (Barton Center) and Burma Burma (Indiranagar)
Kriti Srivastava
I've been wanting to try this outlet for a while now, so glad, that I finally managed to, today. I ordered a combo with the classic Burmese khaosuey, passion chilli soda and 2 steamed chicken momos. The nice thing about this outlet is that you can customise your order to suit your taste buds. I let the chef's work their magic and found that the food was a little too heavily spiced.
In all, a definite can try for the adventure inclined.
Soham Samanta
This place is amazing!!!! Khap Suey was great, but I was more surprised by steam momo and coconut soufflé. Not to forget, the place is very pocket friendly. I also liked how nicely they had wrapped each pair of cutlery in a tissue paper; something that is simple and very hygienic. Highly recommended from my side!!!

Ordered Nutty and Classic Khao Suey home.
Excellent dishes.
I was expecting Coconut Milk Powder but this stuff was made from real coconut milk.
Very refreshing.
Cleverly crafted dishes.
Fresh flavours keep hitting you.
And you do not feel stuffed at the end.

Gimme More
Aprajita
The place didn't lived up to the expectations, they have limited menu and limited seating area. I have had chicken Thaisuey and it was way too salty. The place specialises in khaosuey yet the taste and texture were missing.
Radhika Vinod Kumar
4.5 for me ✔
Momos and khao suey both good to go. Try their refreshing chilly flavoured drink and creamy desserts for a happy meal. The food has got the right flavours and for food that's different, good different, it's surprisingly easy on the pocket.
BANGALORE GRUB HUB
After trying out the Khao Suey in Burma Burma (which raised the standard very high for Burmese food), I wanted to try just Khao Suey to see what they can put on the table. Of course I did not expect it to exceed the standard set by other restaurants as this one is like a cosy pop-up restaurant on 80ft road. Honest review - I think the food they put in front of you is worth the money and exceeds the value. It's a wholesome, filling and worth the quick bite. The owner is really warm and helps you choose dishes per your pallette.

Here my ratings for the place:
Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3.5/5
Service - 5/5
Beverages - 3.5/5

We tried the classic Burmese Khao Suey, wok tossed noodles and tofu momos. We really loved their chilli basil lemonade.
Altanai Bisht
very distinct and new flavours , blend of many ingredients, served beautifully . Also liked the portion size which was happily stomachful :)

Rating 4/5

Just back from a super satisfying meal at the newly opened (couple of months) Burmese Khao suey outlet in indiranagar called Just Khao Suey.

The "classic" is the more authentic one, less coconut milk, more robust. The nutty suey is the typical style sold in India, more coconut milk, slightly sweet.

The veg Momos were pretty good, had a paneer/tofu filling in addition to the standard veges. The classic chicken khao suey was what I had, loved it. You can customize the toppings, but I went with the default choices. The crunch from the crispy bits added to the khao suey really offset the soft/silky texture...

My wife had the nutty veg suey, which was superb.

Reasonably priced, cheerful interiors, but limited seating (there are plenty of bar stools, but only one 6 seater and one 2 seater).

We tried the wok tossed rice flat noodles too, which were full of flavor and nicely done.

My recommendation: order either the classic (if you like a stronger flavor) or the nutty suey (the more typical flavors found here), one serving is enough to completely fill you up.

CoE : first visit, been open a couple of months, paid for the food.
Bavitha Sunanth
I ordered classic khao suey -chicken and lemon basil soda!
It was quite filling with good amount of chicken pieces."Just khao suey"is a small place, since we were just 2 of us,didn't face any hassles finding a seat, food was served quickly and enjoyed what we had ordered ! What can I say?healthy fast food!? ;)
Vikas Garg
Bad food, bad service. Did not expect that from a new place opening in a busy restaurant neighborhood. Had asked to get the soup in Khao suey served very hot, agreed at the time of ordering but served cold. When asked about it the guy is shouting at me that this is how it is served and it is hot enough. left disappointed.
Slashermonty
Went today at 1.30 pm. 3 of us ordered a nutty suey, khaosuey and a Thai suey. All of these were served cold without any accompaniments or chopsticks. When we raised the issue with the counter staff, we were told that this is served cold itself.

Left all threedishes on the table and had to leave. The staff's indifferent attitude will take down this otherwise nice looking place

Snehal Kanodia
We visited just a few days after it opened. The staff was a little overwhelmed by the rush, though we were just about 7 of us in total at the restaurant. They served veg momo instead of a chicken by mistake, the Khao Suey was average and there was little place to sit. We left hungry.
The UnClichéd
Having heard a lot about this place and being a fan of Khao Suey, I finally caved in to my desires, and ordered in. I had the Classic Khao Suey and some steamed momos as well.

To be brutally honest, the Khao Suey at Just Khao Suey is just average. For a place that specializes in delivery, and khao suey, it was rather underwhelming for me. Here is why. The depth of flavour was completely absent and the khao suey was one-dimensional. The broth lacked the punch, and it somewhat resembled a khao suey, after I added a 'LOT OF' lemon into it at home. While I appreciate the fact that they served all the condiments separately, and you could add ingredients according to your liking, the gravy/soup itself lacked flavours.

The momos however were well-made and were pretty decent. The dessert(coconut souffle) was very good and I might perhaps order it again.

They need to work on their packing, specifically the gravy, which arrived lukewarm. They actually ask you to heat the gravy before eating! Have you ever heard any delivery place ask you to heat their food?

Probably not going to order again, unless they get their recipe right, since the pricing is pretty good for what they serve. Alas, I wish the Khao Suey had some flavour!
Tresa Francis
Superb Khao Suey! I have ordered from these guys a few times and always been impressed the taste and quality of the food. A special mention, the packaging is awesome too!
Ferogib Property Consultants
Excellent khao suey . being part Burmese reminds of home ... Good location, heart of indiranagar and great value for money. The Momos are also worth a try.

Just ordered a takeaway from this place that’s gaining popularity quite fast. The food tastes good. However the restaurant is definitely cutting corners when it comes to portion size. Just 4-5 tiny pieces of chicken of boneless chicken that turned fibrous. The mashed half portion of egg not shelled properly. This was an order with extra chicken and the restaurant clearly missed the extra requirement. Thank goodness for the refund policy from delivery partners. It may be just another case of Bangalore restaurant drifting away from value for money.
The Bangalore Food Harem
Someday in the future when you look back and try to figure out when Khao Suey became a 'thing' in Bangalore, for once, your memory won't fail you. At least not with 'Just Khao Suey' gaining popularity as fast it is right now. Just Khao Suey, offers 4 variants of the popular Burmese coconut milk-based noodle soup; the traditional version known to originate from the south of Myanmar, the 'Thaisuey' - a Thai version of the noodle soup which is predominant in northern Thailand, the 'Nuttsuey' - an original recipe of the proprietor featuring the addictive duo of brinjal on peanut sauce, and lastly, the 'Tamsuey' - a South Indian version of Khaosuey with curry leaves, green peas and the works. While all the versions of Khao Suey were delicious and well balanced with the lime kicking in right on time, we would go back for the traditional bowl (note the surprising depth in flavour) and the Tamsuey, in particular!

The menu also features a couple of sides such as the steamed & wok tossed momos - the wok tossed momos is saucy and nutty, but just adequately so. The Burmese tea leaf salad at Just Khao Suey is pretty decent and would give the bigger restaurants selling the stuff a run for their money. Also, their desserts, i.e., the coconut soufflé (so creamy, so coconut-y and so light) and the chocolate mousse (pleasantly dark and intense) are total must-haves!

Had a terrible experience at this place. Walked in really hungry and ended up leaving in a really bad mood after having eaten below average tasting food.

There were two cooks in the kitchen yet each dish took more than 30 minutes to be served even though there were only two customers in the restaurant. I even had to remind them to send the beverages twice and received it 20 minutes later.

The rice noodles were over cooked and not spicy even though we asked for the noodles to be prepared in chilli sauce.
The classic khaosuey was served cold, however the taste was quite nice. Would have been much tastier if it was hot.
Sticky chicken skewers were also terrible. The chicken was overcooked and extremely dry and the sticky sauce had no taste.
Chicken momos came hot however we literally had to beg them for one and a half hour. They were average, there was more vegetable than chicken.
Bharathy Sivasankaranathan
We were walking by aimlessly and this happy place with its bright lights and cute name board beckoned us. Being Khao suey fans we decided to check it out and weren't disappointed. The momos were soft and Steamed just right. The khao suey was excellent and the tea leaf salad (though an acquired taste) was very good. Anyone looking for new places in Indiranagar should definitely visit this place on 80 feet road.
Sonali Mirpuri
I love the fact that the menu in this restaurant is limited, but just great. The food is delicious. I love the balance of crunchy, spicy, soft, chewy, and light elements. The combinations are great. And, of course... the prices are spectacular. Totallllly worth it! The options of a 3 course meal is also great. My personal favorite was the chicken skewers! They were finger licking good! Everything is made from fresh and organic foods from their chicken to the noodles. Love the location as well!
Sarthak Gakhar
Location : Conveniently located in 80ft road Indiranagar (opposite to empire).

We ordered :
Chicken wok tossed noodles : It was a little sweet, loaded with veggies and garnished with spring onion. Liked the taste.

Chicken steamed momos :
It was a familiar taste, the red chilli sauce however was amazing.

The service was great with friendly staff.
It took some 10-15mins for our order to get served but the food was freshly made, so it was worth the wait.

Might visit again to try other dishes.
Sania Hasnain
5* for the food!! You must try the different types of Khao Suey they have! Loved the Thai Suey!!
However, the overall experience at the place could have been better. We saw the staff squabbling over work, the food took too long to reach our table, they often left the meals at the counter & forgot to serve it, only to bring cold dishes to the table. Our order was mixed up & we were served what we didn't order. They forgot our drinks & the same was served after multiple reminders.
This is a new place and Saturday night seemed a little overwhelming for them. Hope to come back to the same great food with better service next time.
Surya
Courteous staff. Food was great. We had the Thaisuey and the classic Khao Suey. I particularly liked the Thaisuey for its tangy flavor. A bit on the spicier side.

Small cosy place in bsnl signal indiranagar which services good Burmese food, filling and pocket friendly too!!

Owners a nice helpfull person, he also owns khan sahab outlets.

Just Khao Suey is a tiny fancy outlet on 80ft Rd of Indiranagar, right opposite to BSNL Office

🔰 Ambiance:

As I already wrote, it's a tiny bright outlet with some well done interiors, soothing to your eyes. Location would definitely add a lot to its business

🔰 Food:

Being an amateur in Burmese cuisine, I asked steward' recommendation. He suggested Classic Burmese Khao Suey. We went ahead with it.

Compared to the one served in Burma Burma, a few blocks away, this tasted very average, too watery, lacked much veggies as against what was written on their menu.

Kiwi based mocktail was worse than Khao Suey. Tasted bland, lacked punch.

Coconut Souffle was the only saving grace. Good texture and pleasant taste. Loved it

🔰Service:

Considering limited footfalls, we got food served pretty quick.

🔰 Portions & Pricing

This place won't dig a big hole in your pocket. Moderately priced for a place of its kind.
However, they need to buckle up with food portions and taste

Will visit again, to try other delicacies in their menu, hoping for better experience!

Just ordered from this place on a home delivery option. Took them over an hour to even despatch the order. They missed out on all the add ons to the khaosuey that we had paid for. The veg classic khao suey was average in taste. The momos had no sauce accompaniment and the coconut soufflé was served in tiny containers that other restaurants normally serve sauces in but were @Rs 80. And the wok tossed noodles had tomato slices in them which I have never encountered in Asian cuisine. Overall a poor experience

DISGUSTING Okay! The staff turned out worst than we expected! First the waiters and the owner are very very rude I dnt think they have any idea about customer service and their satisfaction . The owner speaks very rudely in Kannada thinking that we don’t understand what she was speaking when we asked them to replace a order bcz there was a fly in it and after waiting for 20 minutes they didn’t even replaced the order when my friend approached them again fr the third time then they decided to prepare it .as we coudnt keep up with the attitude of the owner we just left saying it’s okay never mind and then she acts so politely!!

Now Cmng to the food momos are must try the chocolate mousse was better and the fly was in classic burmese suey , thaisuey was good. Well can’t compromise on the food.
I just hope they could do much better by showing some hospitality.

We visited on a quiet Thursday evening. The restaurant is small with a cheerful ambience. We shared The Rangoon Khao Suey chicken combo, which gets you a big bowl of Khao Suey, momos and a drink. This is the first time we've had Khao Suey and we were blown away by the flavour and texture of the dish. Absolutely fantastic noodles and chicken in a coconut milk based broth with seasoning and crunchy noodles and nuts.
Staff are really friendly.
We'll definately go back to taste the other Khao Suey variants on the menu.

Cute little place on 80 ft road. Excellent food. We ordered the Classic Burmese Khao Suey, Thai Suey & mo mo. Relished every morsel of it. The very friendly staff adds to the experience. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Will be back here for sure. :-)

So I visited this place yesterday for lunch with my husband...
First thing ...we both have fallen sick after this.
I felt sick almost when I reached home and still suffering..my husband is facing the same problem today. Worst experience.

We had a classic Khao suey, and a combo meal and a wok tossed momos.
The Khao suey was bland and the broth was almost split... mine had enough filling while my husband received just the broth mostly. The Khao suey which is actually supposed to be eaten piping hot was cold and honestly bland.

The momos had just 90%onions in them and did not even taste good. All I could taste was the oily maida coating and onions.

The orange cooler again very average had dried/old mint leaves in them.

The dessert coconut souffle, was not even able to taste the coconut cream..

I honestly don't want to be rude, but I would never visit this place again since we both have fallen sick and I have never had this issue before.

Something in the broth or some spoiled item may have gone into it... please look into this seriously.

Thanks
For people who want to taste the Burmese flavors. The Khao Suey.

I went to this place with friends who knew about the Burmese food and flavors and they liked it!

The place is small but comfortable enough. Neat maintenance.

Ms. Smitha who owns the place was there when we reached, she was so down to earth, taking our orders, giving us suggestions, asking our personal preferences, making our Khaosuey experience awesome.

We went in with great hope, due to the rating. However, other than the sweet hostess and the coconut dessert, the experience was terrible.

1) the cashier charged one card instead of two, even after giving explicit instructions.
2) the mint leaves in the orange cooler were dark brown, definitely 4-5 days old and not fresh.
3) the original khao suey was oily and not at all tasty. I've had Burmese food in Burma, and at many restaurants around the world. This was the worst ever.
4) the server served me chicken momos instead of veg momos, and did not apologize.

Not going back here.

This place really holds a special place in my heart. Being a bartender I get done really late with work. They happened to be open till 2 am and I got done with my shift by 1:45 am. Just a phone call and in 10 mins I get served warm Khao Suey. The best part is their prices do not burn a hole in your pocket. A special mention for their desserts. Eggless chocolate mousse and coconut mousse. They hit the right spots. Would continue coming here, until then #JustKhaoSuey

Just Khao Suey is a new blessing to Indranagar, they have mastered the art of creating delicious Khao Suey. They have many variants in Khao Suay right from the classic Burmese style to desi style TamSuey which is inspired from South Indian flavours.

We tried the classic Burmese Khao Suey and fell in love with the dish. The flavourful gravy with the noodles and fried onions was to die for, each bite left us craving for more if it, absolutely brilliant and very satisfying. I highly recommend this dish.

We also had the Veg Momos, it had tasty filling and steamed to perfection. It was one of their recommendations and totally lived upto it.

A must try place for Burmese delicacy.

Taste 5/5
Pricing 5/5
Quality 5/5
Quantity 5/5
Cleanliness 4.5/5
Ambience 4.5/5

Visited this place a few times, quite an interesting take on a variety of Khao Suey and bringing Khao Suey to the mainstream.

Great music and good ambience too!

I recommend Thaisuey Veg if you don't mind coconut based dishes. If not, there is always the classic Burmese Khao Suey Chicken.

Go here for your Burmese cravings ! Khao suey lovers are in for a treat. Mom and me went here for lunch just yesterday. She ordered the classic chicken Burmese Khao suey which was delish , she absolutely loved it . I ordered the wok tossed chicken noodles in peanut sauce for myself, which was perfectly flavourful with soft noodles and the right amount of crunch from the peanuts. To go with the meal we had ordered a refreshing orange mint crush drink. The real treat however was the coconut soufflé. It was so yummmmm. Nice and cold, topped with almond flakes . The perfect end to the meal. Staff was friendly, the lady who was managing the show was also very warm and pleasant. Service was quick. Definitely worth a visit :)

The classic khao suey didn't have a balance of flavors and seemed bland. Usually, a khao suey has a thicker consistency and isn't so watery. The only dish worth trying in this place is their Wok Tossed Momos which is delicious.

A bowl of pure happiness and yumminess.A small cute, bright and cosy place.A shoutout to all Asian food lovers. For me khao suey has always been a comfort food and this place keeps it as authentic as possible. The menu is selective (clutter free), clean and neat.Try the combo which is worth it and complete value for money.

Blown away by the food. By far the best Burmese food that we have had in India!!! Had the mandalay combo and so got a khao suey, a drink, 2 momos and a dessert. And the flavors were just out of this world. Come for the Khao suey but the kaandari (in mal) chilly flavored mint chutney for the momos was super duper. We’ll be back soon. Enjoy!

A nondescript place on 80ft road (opposite bsnl) but serves awesome khao suey. Wife and I had the classic Burmese veg and it was a big bowl full of wholesome hearty food. This is definitely on our list of regulars now.

One suggestion is if they would explore giving the condiments separately in bowls. Part of the fun with khao suey is getting to mix those things ourselves

Just Khao Suey has truly outdone itself when it comes to Khao Suey. I really did love the Thaisuey (chicken) it was my favourite! The others are pretty great as well but this was definitely on top of the list for me.
The Chicken Skewers were delicious and the meat they use is organic, the flavours were bold and tasty. The momos were delicious as well.
Their pricing is honestly a steal for the quality, and they have a great combo which is definitely value for money, you get khao suey, momos, a beverage and dessert for 290/- (veg) and 310/- (non-veg).
The burmese coconut souffle was extremely divine in taste, light and absolutely a delight to end the meal with. I strongly recommend paying Just Khao Suey a visit.

Not sure if there’s any place in Bangalore which serves such gooooood Khao Suey. Super delicious. We tried the Classic Burmese Suey (tangy) and the Nutty Khao Suey (slightly sweet) and it was yum!

Portion size was good making the meal good value for money. the coconut souffle was a surprise delight..
Light and really really yum! Got some parcelled too. Decent khaosuey-the nutty one. The other is a bit all over the place. Just very slow service. The slowest really. And their other starters are completely forgettable specially the chicken in skewers. I had a mild itching sensation around the eyes (an allergic reaction) but it was only me. My other two co-diners were fine.

Divya Haridas

I ordered an egg less chocolate mousse.omg the quantity was unbelievably pathetic and laughable that it will fly off if I blow. That's how less it was.and the sarcastic reply I got from the lady at the restaurant just had me writing this review. Please do not order from this dump.actually if one looks for mousse in a dump ,u will get more quantity.take your pick with corner house ice cream.the best chocolate mousse in every way.just khao suey is black listed in my head.

Had been to Just Khaosuey for dinner with family. First is I loved the ambiance. Bright airy place.
We had the Classic Burmese Khaosuey and Nutty Khaosuey. Loved both these dishes. It was more like a comfort food to me. My hubby loved Classic Burmese Khaosuey as it's spicy and I loved the nutty khaosuey. The nutty khaosuey was mildly spiced but tasted heavenly. We also tried sticky chicken skewers and veg momos. The sticky chicken skewers were bit sweet but tasted good. These 2 dishes were yummy too. For drinks we ordered the orange and mint cooler which was refreshing.
Best part is that the food is cooked in open kitchen right in front of us. The food is served hot too.
The service was quick and we did not have to wait for too long.
Do visit this place if you are craving some home style noodle soups which are more like comfort food. They are topped with lots of veges and meat making them healthier.

Meh!!!
First the positive. I ordered delivery the food came packaged pretty nifty.
Where to start.
The broth for the Burmese Chicken & Thai Suey was pretty flavorless. Barely a couple of cube sized pieces of chicken in each.
Anyone who’s had Khao Suey knows how important the condiments are.
The fried noodles were burnt. The fried garlic was burnt. The fried onion was soggy. The condiments added a bitter aftertaste to soup.
Was pleasantly surprised to find tea leaf salad on the menu. Mashed up green tea mixed with a veg salad does not make a laphet thoke. The tea leaves still held bitterness & weren’t fermented at all. Not a trace of lime in the flavor. Again meh!!
Just (get the)Khao Suey(right guys!!!)
The owner suggested that we try the traditional Khao Suey and it was amazing. Couldn't even wait for my friend's dish to arrive. I just hogged. :-D Would like to try nut suey next time.
