Review Sri Venkateshwara Sweetmeat Stall And Restaurant - Bengaluru

SaRe GaMa
Choose this sweet shop based on Google Reviews of over 4.4 on 5, well, not disappointed a bit. Sri Venkateshwara Sweetmeat Stall lives upto the Bangaloreans expectations, sweets were mouth watering, picked up three sweet varities and six karam varities. Their Mysorepakh is a must try, dryfruit mixture is also a good option. Their chaats are extraordinarily famous, by 9:30am they are ready to serve Chaat!! Significantly pricey or expensive place, have a heavy pocket for buying sweets and kaaram in large quantities.

Best place for sweets. I have been visiting this place from long time along with this place visited many other sweets shops across Bangalore. Here some of the items are my favourite. Specially the Mysore paak it's very authentic one and pheni they serve with cold badam milk which is fine but i strongly recommend hot badam which they don't serve. I told them to keep the hot badam milk for pheni they said yes for that. Whenever I go to my native i used to take 2 tyeps of sweets so I tried multiple items here so most recommended one. It's very hygiene and fresh too.

Loved their Mysore Pak & Chats especially Bhel Puri & Paneer Vegetable Samosa Chat.. The size of that Samosa was almost double of the normal Samosas loaded with Paneer veggies & cashews.. It was mouthwatering.. Do give it a try once..

The shop has good varieties of sweets to select from, it's always clean and well arranged. The service is good and the staff working there is always helpful. Do check out Malai rasmalai/kaju barfi. Wide range of snacks also available.

I loved the sweet what they served me even as a North Indian guy it's very difficult to find delicious sweet in South India because of different way of making but that was awesome when I tried here and hosting was also awesome ...very peace place .... It's made my day

Recently opened in Jp Nagar and in a strategic location. Right on the Jp Nagar 100ft road. 5 stars for the sweets. Chaats can be better. Staff is very courteous. They have self service area on the first floor.

The quality of the sweets are good, and they also have a wide variety of items. The shop serves both dine in and takeaways, and it's very well maintained and clean. The shop is air-conditioned, with a good ambience. The taste of their sweet items is nice, and they also give a carry bag for takeaways. They do accept card payments as well, which is really helpful. Overall, a good experience with both the shop and the sweet items.

Clean and neat place. Taste was good and they did customize as per our instructions. Was not much crowded on Sunday. They have sweets, savouries, cakes and chaat items. No paratha etc like other stores.

Sri Venkateswara sweets are the best in Bengaluru.<br/>You must try Malai ras malai, rasgulla and other sweets there.<br/>Chats were not that great, coz it's a sweet shop can't help.<br/><br/><br/>For better experience do visit Sri Venkateswara sweets ❤️👣<br/>

I wanted to try the chaats from here for a long time. Finally, got to do so. :DThe chaat section is on the 1st floor and it's self-service. <br/>We ordered: Raj Kachori, Sev Puri, Tikki Puri and French fries. <br/><br/>The Raj Kachori was delicious. I haven't eaten such flavourful and delicious Raj Kachori anywhere. The Sev Puri and Tikki Puri tasted great too. The french fries could have been crispier.  At first, I thought their prices are on the expensive side. But, when I saw the quantity I was satisfied. Great quantity, Great food. :)I was too full to taste any of the sweets, but I will be back for more.<br/><br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Service: 4/5 <br/>Value for Money: 4/5

A great place to get delicious and Authentic Mysore Pak. It has multiple sections serving chat, sweets and a Restaurant. Food is more than decent at restaurant, ambience is perfect and Planner Sizzler is excellent. Would never hesistant to go back again & again

It was a bit of a bummer<br/>The quantity and cleanliness of the outlet seems satisfactory.<br/>However, the dishes taste like all the components in it rather than a dish.<br/>Flavors and salt is overpowering and doesn't really leave you satisfied.

Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Meat Stall is a destination for awesome sweets, chaats and other North and South Indian dishes. The place is located in JP Nagar on 100feet road/Outer Ring Road and is completely vegetarian. The outlet is spread over many floors. We settled ourselves in the 3rd floor or the restaurant. The ambiance is great like a typical North Indian restaurant.<br/><br/>We ordered the Bharawa Aloo for appetizers. The aloo took a good 15mins to get prepared and were served with the green chutney. The Aloo were cooked in the tandoor with sesame seeds all around. The filling was made with peas and paneer. The taste was delicious. For the main course we had the Kadai Paneer and the Navratan Korma along with Roti and Kulcha. The Kadai Paneer has huge chunks of paneer with a delicious tomato gravy made with a lot of coriander seeds. The Navtaran Korma was on the sweeter side with a lot of fruits and veggies in a cashew gravy. Both the curries were amazing. <br/><br/>The Veg Pulao was made with paneer and peas along with a lot of cumin seeds. The taste was good and could have been much better. <br/><br/>The Verdict:<br/><br/>Taste - 8/10<br/><br/>Ambiance - 8/10<br/><br/>Service - 8/10<br/><br/>Value for Money - 8/10<br/><br/>Overall we had a great time at Sri Venkateshwara sweets.

This Review has been pending since a long time. I have been here at least 5 times now and they have never disappointed me.  <br/><br/>When I ate here for the first time , I thought that I am sitting in a nice Delhi Punjabi Food Restaurant. The food is so good and filling that it always takes me back to Delhi.  <br/><br/>Their Kadhai Paneer , Daal Makhni , Laccha Parantha , Butter Garlic Naan , Masala Tea (Yes I ordered tea at 10:30 PM at the restro ... I love my Tea time a lot) are good beyond the words that I can fetch tonight. <br/><br/>The Staff is pretty friendly and keeps their attention on what you might need. The ambience is nice and calm. They have done a pretty good job at making the place almost Sound Proof. Considering the fact that there is a lot of traffic on the Road next to it. <br/><br/>I wish them all the very best. Will keep on visiting over and over again. <br/><br/>I am yet to try their Chat section. I might go there on this weekend.

Been here for lunch and was very hungry and ate the below items:<br/>Aloo tiki burger, dhokla, aloo Paratha, bhel puri, vada pav<br/>Desserts: Rasmalai and litchi Rabdi. <br/><br/>Best dish was vada pav. Although I didn’t like the desserts especially rabdi which was too sweet for my taste buds. <br/><br/>Ambience is nothing great and the cost is very much pocket friendly

Don't go on the name, it's a very good North Indian food restaurant<br/><br/>Had manchow soup, paneer tikka, Kadhai paneer, dal tadka<br/>Everything was excellent except soup which was just ok<br/><br/>Overall good good

A place where you can go with family and friends, for vegetarian food.<br/><br/>Ground floor has the sweet shop and their 1st floor has a restaurant. Very nearly maintained, friendly staffed restaurant.<br/><br/>Had ordered mushroom kurkure and masala roasted papad. Mushroom kurkure was amazing, stuffed with fine minced mushroom and cheese. One couldn't make out that it was a mushroom dish. Amazingly made.<br/><br/>Masala roasted papad was kind of ok-ok.<br/><br/>On the main course we had ordered chilli stuffed parathas along with aloo-mutter gravy. The parathas were just too good. Not too spicy as well. The curry was made decently.<br/><br/>Also had ordered a vegetarian sizzler. It was accompanied with French fries. Hadn't expected the sizzler to be so nicely made.<br/><br/>Went on with dal-kichdi, hot freshly made was served. Had ghee and jeera tadka finish on it. It was too yummy.<br/><br/>The choice of foods are North Indian, Chinese and continental.<br/><br/>Great job!

The menu in the App, shows two types of Thailis. Unfortunately the same are not available. Mixed feelings. Hoping Thailis will be available in the few weeks

I have heard that this place is good for their "parathas" and "chaats"<br/><br/>Tried their "paneer samosa vegetable Chaat", "paneer paratha" and "litchi rabdi"<br/><br/>Paneer samosa chaat was something unique which I have never tried before..and it was delicious 😋<br/><br/>Paneer parathaa had sufficient amount of paneer and onion filling and was served along with curd, chana masala and pickle..<br/><br/>Litchi rabdi was like icing on the cake..toooo yummyyyy!<br/><br/>Recommended! 😍

If you are looking for an authentic chats this is a place to avoid, the recipes are confused and taste not even close to what it should be. Almost everything has chole in it and the. Basic dishes like Raj Kachori has Masala Poori stuffing inside, Aloo Tikki is pre-prepared and microwaved. The staff is crude in communication.

Definitely one of my favourite places in Bangalore for chats, parathas and sandwiches. Even though I visit the Jayanagar branch more. This place has the same quality as Jayanagar and it more spacious. <br/>Try their rasgulla chat, paneer paratha and cheese sandwich.

Actually I am very frequent to Venkateshwara sweet meat since their small outlet at gandhibazar.I do regularly buy their sweets and snacks for me as well to many of my friends and relatives.Yesterday I had been to their jp nagar outlet and bought snacks,I think now a days they are selling very old stock.Any item was not at all crispy. As I have watched in Bangalore one who starts making branches they will start compromising on quality and in 1 or 2 years they will loose all outlets, already happened with Shanthi sagar, sukh sagar, maiyas ,Adigas and now in line is a2b. Some months after Venkateshwara meat will join them I think. They are becoming very worst

ambiance:6.8/10<br/>friendly staff:6.5/10<br/>service:7/10<br/>WiFi:not sure<br/>taste-o-meter:6.9/10<br/><br/>ordered for:<br/>Katori chaat<br/>Dahi puri<br/>Mango lassi<br/><br/>Katori chaat contained Channa,Sev and some spices with a lot of curds on it. It really tasted very nice.<br/><br/>Dahi puri had big puris and this also had some good stuffings with a lot of curds and sev on it.<br/><br/>Mango lassi was very thick and had fresh mango tatste. I felt the quality was little less.<br/>If I pay ₹50 atleast I get 250ml of lassi but here it was a bit less.<br/>But the taste of the lassi was good<br/><br/>Must try: Katori chaat

This is the best place to have Parathas. I had parathas in some places but they are not at all good.  Hot and delicious parathas served with chana , curd and pickle . I frequently visit this place for parathas<br/><br/>There is also a restaurant in the second floor. The quality and taste of the food is too good.

Had been to this place to have paratha n chaats. Unfortunately that wasn't available. This place has 3 sections. Ground floor is d sweets and dry snacks center, 1st floor is for snacks, parathas etc( not yet opened) , 2nd floor is fine dine restaurant. We had no choice but to go to d fine dine. All cream interiors, kinda small place with 6-7tables. It was empty, may 2 or 3 other ppl when we entered. We ordered papad,Roti, kulcha, kadai paneer. Sabzi was good, ample amount of paneer, kulcha was under cooked. Slightly over-priced. As soon as I finished my last bite,d waiter landed at our table to pick up d plates, chill man, what's d hurry!!!! I rather prefer their small bites section, will go back only when that opens.

Food is ok but horrible staff on the 2nd floor. Would never suggest this place because of tge staff. Their attitude is as if u being paid and not them. I asked them if they could serve us pav bhaji at the 2nd floor because we had kids with us but very arrogantly the waiter replied no v cant. Go down n buy it yourself is what he tells me n just walks off. I called the manager and instead of apologising he tells me ya what ever he said is right and asked me if i wanted to order something o should he leave
