Review Anand Donne Biryani - Bengaluru

We had a good experience dining at Anand Donne Biriyani. All the dishes we tried were good. The place and service were good too. We accidentally discovered this place after getting tired of Shivaji Military Hotel wait times. Wish I had found this few years ago, would have saved hours waiting at Shivaji Military Hotel. Anand Donne has a simple menu with effective service and no wait time. Accepts payments by cash & UPI. Offers sides like bottled water, cold beverages, icecream etc. The facility has clean toilets that can be used by patrons. Recommended.

Good biriyani but too much masala. Had chest burning in evening after food. Taste was good. Cleanliness is good, could be improved. Had chicken biriyani, chicken fry and mutton fry. Chicken Biriyani was good, C fry was good but masala was more Mutton fry could be made better. Washrooms was neat. Over all experience was ok.

Authentic Donne biryani is served here. The biryani flavour is not too spicy and not blant it is perfectly balanced. Recommended for everyone who is looking to have a tasty biryani. If someone likes spicy they can try the Andra chilly chicken served here which is a delight to have.

Visited the Banashankari Branch on 22nd Jan 2022 at 9am with my wife. The staff were very courteous. Ambience was clean & new. Ordered Chicken, Mutton Biryani, Chilly & Pepper Chicken & 2x Bonebroth (kaalu soupu). All of them were very delicious. Total bill was 1020 INR. I'll surely revisit with my family to be served by the Waiter Mr. Raaki. He was very humble & welcoming.

Ambition is good. I took mutton biriyani, kuska and chicken dry fry taste wise it's okay. Only once we can try...

The taste of the biryani is good but their service was a little slow

Ate biriyani and kabab. Was so delicious. Kabab was so juicy 😍. Everyone can try . 2 minutes walk from banshankari bustand.

They have limited items. Ambience is not good. Tried briyani and was very spicy

Very good 'Donne Biriyani' at moderate rate. Was tasting for the second time and tasted good for me. But the service needs to be taken more care of. I was made to wait for about 10 mins without even approaching for order. Owner... If u come across this post please make ur shope more customer friendly 😉

Pretty good and worth the money. I only went here because there was a queue at Shivaji. Was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Came here at 12:00 PM and the biryani was super piping hot. The chicken “dry” (come with a yummy gravy 😄) was amazing.<br/>I would probably not hesitate to come here again. And not just because there’s a long waiting period at Shivaji.

This biriyani joint is located like 100 meters from the famous shivaji military hotel the style of biriyani in both the places are same but taste, quality and experience is what makes these places so different.<br/><br/>The biriyani here tastes somewhat similar to that of shivaji but it is nowhere close to the real deal. An average place, could try this out once... If you are tired of waiting at shivaji.<br/>

People must take a chance to go to this place if they are disappointed with not getting a seat in Shivaji on their busy overcrowded days. To avoid the hassle of the crowd in Shivaji, try this place and trust me you will not go disappointed. Almost the same flavour, quantity is a little less than Shivaji. I totally recommend this place, I took a chance and I am glad I did.

Killa mutton biriyani !! Tastes the same like at Shivaji. Totally worth it !! Mutton in the biriyani tender and juicy. The red gravy they give with chicken leg and the rice is next level. Keep it going guys. Cheers !!

The local outlet just across the street from the famous Shivaji Military hotel. If you want to have a good Donne Biryani avoiding the hustle of Shivaji, this would be the place to go.<br/>Dosa and chicken leg curry on Sunday mornings is a must try! Biryani rice is delectable as well.

That's slogan for all us biriyani lovers😄<br/>Ever got fed up or disappointed for not getting a place in Shivaji Military Hotel..worry not this place which is around 100-200 mts from that place has biriyani which tastes almost the same as Shivaji (lets stress on the almost a bit more😅) the chicken is tender and the starters are good too..if you're not lucky enough to get a seat at Shivaji or not a person who likes a lot of crowd can go to this place.<br/>Heard a rumour that a person working in Shivaji quit a job and started this..not sure if it's true or not😅😅<br/>My review<br/>Food 4/5<br/>Ambience 3/5<br/>Cost for 2 400-500

This place has better biryani than Shivaji military hotel,and I love the biryani and the mutton fry 🍗the biryani here is different not like any other Donne biryani

This place does not know how to treat it's customer well... Very poor service & always plays useless English songs.. Doesn't create a mood of a restaurant to dine at...

A couple of times delivered the wrong order. But good food & prices are really low. Mutton is soft & the gravy items are nice & Spicy. Overall good stuff.

The Chilli Chicken is all about Chilly and less about the chicken. The rice was too greasy but still decent. The service is pretty quick though. Most people who come here are the ones who aren't willing to wait in the long queue at the nearby Shivaji Military Hotel

Biryani taste is very decent, on top of everything it's a pocket friendly restaurant. Try Chicken Leg, Mutton Dry and Mutton Biryani. Overall a good restaurant.

This is a local outlet which can compete with the famous Shivaji Military Hotel of Banashankari,Blore. Very small outlet which serves you yummiest mutton biryani , chicken fry n lot more.. Posting here to say that they have done a great job but need to improvise on their set up or marketing.. taste n quality is too perfect !! Forget about the crowd. Just eat n go back !

Beem here a couple of times..not very crowded..1st time i visited here because shivaji hotel was very crowded and we spotted this place..decent biryani with good options of starters..Quick service..

Once again it was an biryani craving which took me to this little place near banshankri bus stand very close to Shivani military hotel as I don't wanted to for such a long time and moreover wanted to try out new place for Donne biryani and I ordered a chicken biryani and chicken masala. The food came really fast and was pipping hot. The biryani lacked the zing that you get in Donne biryani and the chicken pieces were also not that good in terms of sizes and it were not properly cooked and same was the case with chicken masala unnecessarily to much of chillies in it and there was no trace of masalas in it. It was all abt chillies very bad experience even the sherva lacked taste. Go only if your requirement is to fill your stomach and you don't care for flavours and taste.

Worst Biriyani ever had in entire life, No taste at all and even very late service, Price also very high not up to the mark and not worth for money.

I think these guys have made every effort to match the taste with Shivaji military hotel. Leg piece curry and chicken biriyani tasted Amazing. <br/><br/>Give it a try, you will like it and also save money 💰 on total bill<br/><br/>

Shity place. I recommend to close this restaurant. Accepts order and money but won't give the order. They are crooks in the business. Experienced the same with last two orders.

The taste here was similar to shivaji military hotel .. ..every dish here was similar or almost same as Shivaji and its 100 mtrs away from it .but now the taste has completely changed

The place is situated on Kanakapura road near JBS Nursing home and is a single floor setup with around ten tables. It's a Nati style restaurant with a limited menu. Mutton biryani, Chicken Biryani and Chilly Chicken are few of the dishes I have tasted and are really good. Prices are reasonable and its a good place for those who like spicy and Nati style food.

Very nice place to have famous Donne Biriyani. The tase is good. The rice is cooked in traditional `soude` which gives a special taste to Biriyani rice.
