Great experience . We got attention to everything small we required and even food was really tasty. Non veg starter , main course, salads were too good. Definately worth the money. Very clean n neat ambience with good Hygiene.

Located in the bustling koramangala block 5, Saara’s cafe is the multicuisine restaurant inside SS lumina hotel. Located on ground floor, the restaurant offers an ala carte experience over weekdays and a buffet over the weekend The cuisine comprises of mostly Indian dishes with some strokes from Chinese cuisine too. I tried the complete buffet experience here on my recent visit. My picks from the menu were the hara bhara kebab, the mushroom tikka and tangdi kebab The main course also has a few delicious options. I loved the dal tadka and kadai chicken. The breads are served fresh Kudos to chef Laxman and the courteous waiting staff for making it a memorable experience!

Located next to Sapna Book house on the busy commercial main road, this place serves some of the best Arabian and Indian cuisine. The place is spread across 2 floors with the ground floor having a buffet option and the 1st floor with fine dining. The ambience is done well with rich interiors and good lighting that lifts the mood of the patrons coming here to dine. The place can accommodate 100 pax at a time on full capacity.Good for friends to catch up or family get together. Bar NOT available... Valet parking limited to 4 cars and some 10 two wheelers.Space constraint for parking. The Service could have been better. The Waiters seem to be lost and take a lot of time to serve food that at times you had to wait for bit unusually long. Had a watermelon based Mocktail which was surprisingly too good. The Starters tried were- 1. Hummus-too good. A absolute joy to eat. 2.Chicken roast-Not so great...edible.Could have been far better 3.Hara bara kebab-Too good.Prepared to perfection...Wow. 4.Banjara kebab-good 5.Aloo kurkure-am glad I tried this and liked it too. 6.Brown chicken-Best avoid The Main course tried were- 1.Paneer butter masala-A dish done to such perfection that we just couldn’t stop licking our fingers...Superb 2.Hyderabadi chicken-Chef...take a bow. You have taken the dish altogether to a new level...MUST TRY. 3.Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani-Least expected to be so good but the chef here has given his best in whipping up a dish so close to our heart so right. BANG ON...Wow Chef.😋 The Desserts tried were- 1.Rice pudding-Honestly didn’t like it at all.Presentation too good but lacked taste. 2.Baklava-This was one of the finest desserts have tried of late and was just too yummy.MUST TRY. A meal for 2 would cost around Rs 1200/- to Rs 1500/- Buffet available at Rs 499/- +taxes. Both Cards and Cash accepted. I enjoyed the Indian Cuisine in particular and Arabian Cuisine in general. In a nutshell, this place serves some of the finest food in general and the look of the hotel as something high end is not justified for the price they charge.Maybe a board outside announcing the prices may help in getting more footfall into the restaurant. This place if it can attract more patrons is definitely here to stay...

This place is located at a prime location of Koramangala under SS Lumina Hotel. If you are searching for perfect Arabian cuisine then this is the place. Chef from Middle East has curated some great menu which will satisfy your Arabic food cravings. There is parking issue as this place is right on the main road. ***** Ambiance ***** Nice and perfect ambiance for corporate events. Proper lighting and interiors will give you posh feeling once you enter this place. You can have ur food in peace. **** Starters/ Main course ***** Dishes worth ordering: Tabouleh Fattoush Hummus Hummus Spice Baba Ghannouj Muttabal Veg Manakish Zatar Manakish Falafel Platter Chicken Al Faham Grill Mix Grill Kabab Dajaj Baklava Falafel Wrap Rice pudding Chicken Biryani Mutton Biryani Veg Biryani Even though Arabic food taste is little bland for Indian taste buds but it will not disappoint you. Loved the Hummus Spice and Baba Ghannouj (Brinjal Hummus) with pita bread. Manakish is nothing but other name of pizza in middle East. Veg Manakish was thin crust pizza with lots of toppings. Zatar ( til/sesame ) Manakish was something different which I tried here and it was nice. But I liked the veg Manakish more. Chicken alfaham didn't pleased me much here. May be because it was overcooked and burning smell was coming from it. Mixed grill was also not that great. Mutton pieces were very hard. I think there is scope of improvement here. Baklava was the best part of every thing and it was like show stopper. This is special sweet made of layers filled with chopped nuts and honey. You can buy a packet of the same to take back home. Rice pudding is again a lovely desert to have and satisfy your sweet buds. Biryani after having Arabic cuisine will activate your taste buds. Loved the chicken and mutton biryani. Properly cooked in Indian style with Indian spices. Overall great place for Arabic cuisine. Had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the authentic Arabic food here.

I was craving for some good Arabian cuisine thus went to this place which was in my check list since very long. Had heard about the hummus hey serve and was all set to try some grilled chicken and hummus. But but but after seeing the menu and the varieties they serve, I melted 😋🤣 We started with trying all the varieties of hummus, which were plain hummus, spicy hummus and baba ghannouj (egg plant hummus). My gawddd they were so yum with lots of olive oil and the perfect taste 😍 Chicken Al faham, mix grill, falafel platter went perfectly with the varieties of hummus. Mutton and chicken biryani were yummm. And they won our heart when they specially made falafel shwarma for one of our vegetarian friend 😍 apparently he loved the veg biryani, so vegetarians out there don't hesitate, they have plenty of options for you guys too. Veg manakish( til seeds )and pizza were also decent. Baklwa is a must must try in desserts. Overall you should surely try this place as they have an awesome service, and the Ambience is peaceful and you can concentrate on your food. Do try it!!

They have a lot of options in the buffet for everyone's liking. They also have the Delhi food festival that's ongoing till Sept 15th. We had: Dill dilly kurkure chicken - Amazing batter fried chicken. Mutton paratha - Paratha stuffed with minced mutton. Must have. Chicken shahi korma - Amazing shahi curry which went well with the parathas. Desserts were so tempting that 'No one can just have one'. All desserts tasted amazing.

Arabic food always bland in taste for Indian taste but they have uniqueness in their food. Each and every dish has a difference on its own. In Bangalore you may have so many options but the Saara's Grill n Spice serving you his best with the help of Chef Abbas. I am with a group where we ordered some Arabic delicacies which was out of the world. North Indian offerings also not bad at all. Some things you must try here Hummus - it's Not the dry one what you get usually full of virgin olive oil flavour. Mix gril - Mamamia. Chicken roast - If you know how to roast your chicken you can cook anything. Hara bara kebab - 4 out of 5. Banjara kebab - Good. Paneer butter masala - the gravy was good. Hyd chicken dum biryani - Must try. Baklava - can bet you. You can't get better than this. Bon Appetite Chef BB

Great authentic Arabian food. The buffet is the usual Indian cuisine. I suggest you to try the Arabian dishes from the a la carte menu. The staff is friendly. Chief chef is a wonderful person to talk with.

Located adjacently parallel to Hotel Empire in Koramangala 7th block, this place serves some of the best Arabian and Indian cuisine in the area and poses a serious competition if this place is just marketed right. They have both Buffet and Ala-carte option on ground and 1st Floor respectively. The ambience resembles a business hotel on the model of B&B. The place can serve around 80-100 patrons at a time. No liquor served here. The Service definitely takes bit of a backseat with no clear instructions and the servers do feel lost at times. Watermelon Mocktail was served which was actually but refreshing. The Starters • Hummus-loved it.Great on presentation and tasted good with Pita Bread. • Chicken roast-Best avoid • Hara bara kebab-A dish that was whipped up with great pride by the chef. Bang on taste.Must try • Banjara kebab-ok • Aloo kurkure-Humble Aloo served beautifully and tasted equally good. • Brown chicken-Good The Main course • Paneer butter masala-One of the few places that serve the dish with such richness in taste along with the right spices that you just can’t stop eating. • Hyderabadi chicken-the tender chicken with the chefs secret spices and a wand of magic delivers something so extremely flavourful..MUST TRY • Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani-At par with any other Biryani brand across the city. Rich on taste and presentation. • Roti/Kulcha-good The Desserts •Baklava-one of the top 3 in taste have tried so far...too good and have to try. Will be back for this again. • Rice Pudding-Maybe the Baklava overpowered my taste buds in doing justice for this. Feel was good in its own league. My Ratings • Food-4/5 • Ambience-4.5/5 • Value for Money-4/5 • Service-3/5 With proper reach, this place can give a tough competition to the neighbourhood on taste, hygiene, quality and price too....

Saara's Grill-n-Spice is a hidden gem in Koramangala. Located 600 metres from Forum mall, this place is located near Sapna book house. Ambience is cosy here, stuff are courteous, a guy named Rahul was very very helpful. We ordered nonveg kabab platter , sweet lime soda and bamboo chicken biriyani. The succulent kebab pieces are melt in mouth, properly marinated, each bite has the flavour ingrained into it. Biriyani had the smoky flavour and was good one after the kebab. They have valet parking. ZOMATOGOLD users will get 40% off if you pay through ZOMATO.
Food - 8/10
Ambiance - 7/10
Service - 7.5/10
Value for Money - 9.5/10

Check the review in my Insta handle: @festivals_corner
https://www.instagram.com/p/B9d_YzelhjC/?igshid=wg3kwoxjhjj7
We ordered from à la carte menu and did not go for buffet. So, I'm not reviewing for the buffet.AMBIANCE & SERVICE- The ambiance was decent. You won't find music or mood lightnings which should obvious as it is a family restaurant. I found the staffs polite and patient. Service was good. We went late at night so it was not crowded and our food was served quite fast.FOOD - They have both buffet and à la carte menu. We ordered a number of items from Indian Cuisine. Starters were beautifully displayed. Here is the individual review of food items:1. Malai Murg (4/5) - chicken pieces were tender and tasted good.2. Paneer tikka (4/5) - Tasted good. Served with an amazing green chutney.3. Aloo Anarkali tikka (4/5) - The masala on potato was rally flavorful. served with green chutney.4. Dal Makhni (5/5) - This was really amazing. You could tell it was slow cooked and had all the appropriate flavors. I really liked the cashew nut flavour in it. Dal makhni was not very spicy and if you like very spicy food you might find this bland.5. Haryali Kofta (5/5) - This is kofta in palak gravy. It was really good. Although, A little more spices would've made it better.6. Paneer do pyaza (4/5) - Tasted good.7. Paneer butter masala (3.5/5) - This was little on the sweet side and I expected this to be spicy. Tasted more like shahi paneer.8. Raita (5/5) - Amazing raita.9. Phulka (5/5) - Cooked properly and tasted like home. A bit small in size.10. Roomali Roti (4/5) - Tasted good.11. Lassi - Tasted good.Overall all the items were good and some need more spices and masalas.I enjoyed the meal here.

Been for dinner buffet, was served cold stale food, on confronting they heated same food.....veg was under cooked, had to leave halfway

Misleading staff info about buffet in this hotel they just tell you to come and they serve you Al'carte... worst experience.. never visit this place...not worth the money you pay🤯

I went to this place and tried out their dinner buffet.
There were very few options for mains and dessert. The starters seemed to be fine with one soup, three types of salads and three types of starters. For the mains we had only limited options and the food was cold too. The dessert had only two options but the best part was the pudding which was quite delicious.
I expected a better presentation and food. The ambience was nice.
Yeshwanth Madineni
I didn't go in with much expectations. The food was really decent and the ambience was decent too. They had many varieties in the menu and on the buffet.

Just had a great buffet lunch. Got some offer and chose this place. It was really good. The price was moderate. Quality was decent, but some preparations didn't really match our expectation. However, given the price, it was a good deal. Starters and deserts were particularly lovely.

Visited on 4th Aug 2019, Dinner Buffet spread is not great, taste was not good, moreover they have mentioned 499/- Rs as buffet price per person and finally they charged 800/- Rs per person totally frustrating. Staff service is very poor they serve food as if they are doing favor. Very very bad experience will never visit this place again.

We started our dinner with Veg Manchow Soup which was average.

Then we tried Baby Corn Chilly which was good with ample amount of spices and had a good blend with the baby corn.

Kalmi Kabab were not properly cooked. They were fleshy on the inner layers , looked interesting on the outer coating.

Then we tried their Bread Basket which contains 4 types of Roti.

We had Kadai chicken, which had the exact texture and good amount of spiciness. In Veg, we tried Baby Corn Masala, which was great too.

In Mocktails ,we tried Masala Mango Meridian , which was average.

Mango Fruit punch is something what we can even recommend to you.

We ended our dinner at the Roti's, so this was our unbiased review from Saara's Grill n Spice

This place doesn't serve alcohol. They have coolberrys nonalcoholic beer being served.

Tuhina89
There is very very less option for veg , we booked for 1+1 buffet offer they didn’t mention different price on site while coming he said more price they are trying to make food customer. Food also not good paneer is very hard and chewy waste buffet for us
After multiple visits I decided to write the review. Ambience is good, its kinda classy. Coming to food, I tried their Alfham chicken. Twice it was good third time very bland, dry and infact non edible. Plz see the pics.
Ordered bamboo chicken. First time taste was good but it was just biryani stuffed in bamboo. Nothing bambooy abt it. 2nd time it was too bland. Third time, it was just rice burnt in bamboo. Meat was hard. Not sure of visitng that place again

Average food and the quality of food is not up to the mark , the buffet spread is okay . They need to improve a lot .overall below average experience.

The food standards were below our expectations.... !!! It was team lunch organised by our management, everyone one was too excited and all prepared to have good food and talks. But it ended with criticism.... "Why did we even come to this place??" Food served was not fresh. Paneer was hard and even prawn curry was so pathetic and tasteless. They served mutton dum biryani that too was below expectations. #MYLASTVISIT

In Koramangala, every 2nd shop is a restaurant. So it’s a Foodie’s Paradise. It’s unfortunate that sometimes you stumble upon some bad food and service. Our experience with Saarsas Grill n Spice was pretty pathetic. It’s was completely a wrong choice of place for a team of 19 folks. The food and service was really below the standard. We opted for Buffet Dinner for 19 people with a custom made menu. The Non Veg starters were served cold ..the panner was chewy and Crispy Golden baby corn was soggy. On our complaints , they make some changes. The Mutton Biriyani was completely blend with no taste.. its was a mixture of pre cooked rice and Mutton Curry. The Biggest let down was the Prawn Curry. It’s was a Frozen precooked packet prawn mixed with some curry. Prawns were taste like rubber bullets soaked in curry. This is my 3rd visit and feel that the Restaurant is losing its ground in terms of Service and Quality of Food.
Rishikesh Fulsundar
The buffet they provide is up to the mark. Also, the ambiance is good. Coming to the service staff I met one service captain Mr. Sanjib, who helped us choosing the dishes. He is having good experience it seems also he was helpful. Overall, we are happy with the food quality and quantity.
Gautam
Absolutely pathetic place. With multiple reasons.
1. Ordered the dishes, a simple Singapore Noodles and Chicken Drumsticks at 1:44.
2. A new group of some 6-8 people came in and ordered their food 5 mins later.
3. Waited till 2:35. The other group started getting their kababs and starters after soup.
4. When I asked for the status, they said it's being made.

Clearly the guy took the other order and didn't care about this one. Just walked out after asking the waiter.
Quite sure the reviews are fake. Some Mr.Anand took the order and then their manager in a coat some Mr.Tashir.

Management, please get a couple of good guys and care about anyone who walks into your place equally.
Disappointed with the piece of crap service.
Swatee Parida
Pathetic service , placed an order for chicken drumstick and Singaporean noodle and it took more than 1 hour to prepare and after that when we asked for food, they had no answer to that. Dont waste your zomato gold option on this pathetic late servers.
Indrila Ghosh
Went to a buffet awesome starters and main course .The afgan chicken and Apollo fish was the star amongst the dishes .The desserts was fine .Overall a good experience would definitely recommend.

The buffet is absolute sham. Very very very limited varieties. Also grill n spice has Arabic cuisine, that should have been included in the buffet. I’m
Not sure how is the alacarte there..but never ever try their buffet please. The waiters were lost and confused. Do not run a place when you don’t know how to take care of your customers. The mock tails which were priced, but were really good.

I have been going to this restaurant from past 1 years. Their food is too good specially like Al Faham , Laal maas and mix grill. I really enjoyed the food here . Service is very quick and all staff are friendly and polite.
Gaurav Sanyal
Amazing Arabic food! The grill platter is completely worth the price. Mutton was tender and juicy. It was a random walk in which turned out to be a much coveted experience! I would recommend the grill platter and baba ganoush!
Naeem Shaikh
A very decent option if you are craving for some Arabic food.. They have a perfect fine dine kind of sittings which gives you different feelings all together. Liked the food, Service was a little slow, never the less we enjoyed the over all experience.

We tried Dal Palak Shorba Hara Bhara Kebab,Panner Tikka as Veg starters , all were good in taste.

Chicken Wings: Recommended

Chilli Chicken: Recommended

Tawa Chicken: Highly Recommended

Baklawa: A must try for all the sweet lover

A great fine dining experience in the heart of Koramangala. It's the need of the hour when Koramangala is surrounded by places not suitable for all, there comes this place with the most welcoming environment. Family oriented, super- couteous staff, very hygienic and lastly the most important - Super Delicious Food.
For all the meat lovers out there, this will be a treat.Great range of tandoor, grill, etc.
Plus this place has one of the best looking banquet halls in and around Koramangala.
Do not hesitate to step in, because it's worth your money.

Cheers team Lumina.

Worth it!

Visited this place for the third time. Always had a buffet. Twice it was lunch and the third time it was a dinner buffet with a bunch of 18 people. Coming to buffet menu, they have a good spread of starters and also the main course and to cut off your dinner with some good desserts. The starters of non veg was amazing! (Didn't try veg as I am pure nonvegetarian 😂) the chicken wings were yummy! The fish fry was also good. Mutton is a must try and the main course gravies was great with Indian breads. Didn't eat biryani(tummy was full with starters😜) to end the meal l had jamun n a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was a deadly combination. Overall a good meal. Go for it!

Decent Buffet - Value For Money

We had been to Saara’s Grill for buffet dinner.. This was our second visit to this place. The ambiance here is good. Staffs are courteous and friendly. When it comes to food I felt it was value for money. It could have been much better. Liked the chicken wings a lot here and also not forget mutton roganjosh. We had to wait long time for refilling of some items in the menu but nevertheless it was manageable as we were a team of 18. Parking is a problem in this place. Overall we were happy for what we paid. Will try visiting this place again.

The best place if you are a vegan.. In fact the only place where a vegan can feel that his starter is way better than a chicken starter.. ( non veg starter are good too) loved the desserts section!! Few options in dessert section can be replaced with something else.. Overall a good place to take your family for lunch / dinner

Visited on a Sunday for lunch buffet. Starters were tasty except chicken wings(do not fit in Arabian or Indian cuisine). Starters were served on table, service was bit slow.
Spinach soup was good along with few salad options. Main course had chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala, hyderabadi mixed veg and all were tasty and most importantly without food color.
Mutton biryani was tasty so was navaratna pulav. Dal, butter nan, dum aloo, raita were as usual. Deserts include gulab jamun, gajar ka halwa, rasgulla, pudding tasted descent.
Dineout discount made icing on cake 😄
Overall a good place not before 1pm(service is bit late).

During our second visit we booked a table for buffet and there was no buffet arranged. I was told that due to less number of bookings they are gonna serve same buffet menu in table. Taste was same, but the restaurant seems to be loosing business fast which according to manager is due to not serving alcoholic beverages.
We had falafel, hara bhara kabab, few chicken tandoori items. Starters were served quickly and looked like reheated.
On main course had mutton rogan josh, butter paneer, chicken do pyaza and all seemed yum.
Nan as usual and chicken biryani was not that great.
For desert we had gulab jamun, chocolate pudding and gajar halwa and all were good.
Varun Girilal
We were in the mood for some grills over the weekend and found this restaurant as an option for arabic specials online. My wife is from the middle east where kababs are a favourite.
We ordered a mix grill, humus and Zaatar from their arabic menu. After a long time we experienced authentic and delicious kababs in India. I guess the fact that they have a lebanese Executive chef who also takes care to import authentic ingredients makes a huge difference. I suggest trying out their Arabic specialities.

Not a nice restaurant...
Visited once only to not visit again.. located in koramangala.. so thot it too be crowded.. but it wasnt... buffet and ala carte both were available.. food was not tasty and spicy.. the dal makhni was horrible.. it was just lentils boiled no tadka no makhni.. ambience is dull n it sucks..
Not worth the price as well... hospitality needs improvement..

Buffet is worst never visit this place.. waste of money, if you wish to waste your money then you can go there. There are no options in started no fruit juice or options for vegetarians

I just love the food here. Great location and price. The staffs are very nice too. We went for dinner buffet but there wasnt buffet service but the manager made sure that we get a lot of varieties of dishes at the price of a buffet which was really good. 4 stars because there was a delay in the service otherwise i would give 5 stars. Highly recommended!

Tucked in a small business hotel on the bustling streets of Koramangala, Saara's is relatively new to the city.

Four months in, it still relies heavily on providing meals to hotel guests and does not see a lot of footfall from diners outside the hotel's vicinity- something it does not deserve, and something I'm hoping to change through this impassioned review.

Why impassioned? Because, I assure you, the Middle Eastern food here is genuinely that good!

For more details on the dishes we treated ourselves to, check the blog link below!

Well what can I say? Saara's Cafe was amazing and then I visited Saara's Grill n Spice and I must say, the food was amazing yet again.

We started off with 3 different varieties of hummus with falafels. They were amazing. Impressive hummus.
We tried:
1. Hummus
2. Spice Hummus(must try)
3. Baba Ghannouj
4. Fattoush
5. Tabouleh
6. Muttabal.

The mains we're pretty good. A small downgrade though. The chicken and mutton was cooked very well but it lacked a wow factor. It was very average. The biryani tasted amazing though. Especially the mutton Biryani. It was so tasty and the meat just fell off the bone. Amazingly perfectly cooked meat. The pizzas were good too. I personally did not like the Zatar Manakish as I found it a little too salty but it was definitely delicious.
We tried:
1. Veg Manakish(must try)
2. Zatar Manakish
3. Falafel Platter
4. Chicken Al Faham Grill
5. Mix Grill
6. Kabab Dajaj
7. Falafel Wrap
8. Veg Biryani
9. Chicken Biryani
10. Mutton Biryani

The deserts were amazing. The rice pudding and baklawa had no issues they tasted amazing.
We tried:
1. Baklawa
2. Rice pudding

Overall, amazing food and a great experience.

Have been craving for some good hummus and Pita for a while 😊. Headed here with friends on a weekend for lunch. Saara's Grill is on the 1st floor and the cafe is in ground floor. Seating is divided into 2 sections. The plain hummus and the spicy hummus came with good amount of olive oil and I love it that way !! 😊 Hot Pita tasted fantastic with the hummus and the baba ganouj.
The falafels were exceptional 👌 and I had a bunch of them .Upon request Chef created a special Veg Shawarma ( with falafel ) for me !

The veg thin crust pizza as well as the sesame pizza were both very likeable.

The Veg Biryani was low on Masala but made very well. Couldn't really tell which style it was. The salan was well ground but could have been better on flavour and taste. Baklava came in few different shapes bit with same filling. Was not the best I have had.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday Afternoon too try their Arabic Flavors. It's easy to reach this place and can trust Google maps to Reach here. Parking here is not an issue and it is managed properly.
Ambiance:-This place is a part of SS Lumina Hotel and located on the First floor. The place is not very huge is terms of seating capacity. Its is brightly lighted place with white decor and even the chairs are kept light in color to match the ambiance. The place doesn't offer much of an ambiance and is a simple and decent place. When we went there was no music, which was a let down as it would have been great if some light music was also played along.
Service:-
The staff is extremely polite and courteous. The staff was well versed with the Menu which is a good thing at a place which doesn't offer the regular food and have unique names. The table and the food service were both quick.
Food:-For the first time, i ate Hummus and other arabic dishes at a place which specializes in it. As we were a large group we tried a lot of things off their arabic menu. Freshly prepared Pita Bread tastes completely different and is amazing at this place. Here is my review of the dishes that we tried:-
~Hummus:- They have two varieties of Hummus, one is the regular one and one is the Spicy one. Both of them were really good and unique in taste.
~Fattoush:- It was kind of Salad, it tasted good but not something i would prefer ordering again.
~Tabouleh:- It was also a kind of Salad which majorly consisted of finely chopped parsley and some other veggies as well. It was again unique and good in taste but did not please my taste buds.
~Baba Ghannouj:- It was a dip made of Mashed and cooked Eggplant which full of flavours and tasted well with the Pita Bread.
~Falafel Platter:- This was Fried patty made from the ground chick peas. They were extremely crispy and the inside of the falafel tasted really good.
~Zatar Manakish:- It was kind of thin crust pizza with no toppings and only sesame seeds and some spices to give it a taste. I would say its unique in taste which some would prefer and some wont, but i really liked the taste.
~Chicken AlFaham:- There a lot of places in Bangalore where you get the Indianized Version of Alfaham with lots of butter and lots of Chat masala. Here thhe Alfaham was with very minimum oil and the chicken was tender and tasted really good as i can taste the chicken and not the amount of butter or oil on top of it.
~Kabab Dajaj:- It was mix of different varieties of Kebabs, some of the items were good and some i didnt like.
~Chicken Biryani:- After eating a lot of Mildly spiced foof, our taste buds wanted something spicy and hense Biryani was ordered. It was a Hyderabadi Biryani with soft chicken and full of flavours but still mildy spiced. The Salan and Curd served along with it were both amazing.
~ Baklava and Rice Pudding:- Baklava tasted really good but Rice pudding was a let down.

Overview:-
Ambiance-4
Service:- 5
Food:- 5
value for Money:- 4

Saara’s Grill n spice is part of SS lumina hotel which is situated right in the busy street of Kormangla
Saaras cafe is also part of the hotel but the grills and Arabic spread is the difference between two.
Today I tried this place over a Sunday lunch only for Arabic cuisine
By looking at the hotel I will say parking place will not be enough but they have valet parking available which is a big relief
Ambiance wise very neat and clean with elegant seating arrangements . Perfect for fine dine experience as well as for corporate events.
Jumping on to the food we started with non other then
Hummus with Pita bread
Hummus typical Arabian food which is made off cooked mashed chickpeas mixed with tahini olive oil and other spices
Here we had one more spicy version of hummus which was little orange in colour because of extra spices but it is more tasty and spicy (hummus spice )
We had
Fattoush : a salad made off fried or toasted Arabic flat bread mixed with green vegetables with spices
Tabbouleh : a salad made off finely chopped parsley mixed with lemon onion mint and seasoned with olive oil
In the starter there was falafel platter and baba ghanoush
Falafel is nothing but the deep fried balls made off ground chickpeas
Where as baba ghanoush is another version of hummus made off eggplant
These two were the show stopper for me in starter segment
Falafel was real crispy and crunchy with finger licking taste the food streak continued with
Veg manakish (pizza)
And zatar manakish which is nothing but sesame seed pizza . It’s a thin crust pizza without any toppings only sesame seeds and few powdered spices which was little sour in taste . I tried it for very first time but I liked it

Then the grill chicken/meat
Chicken alfaham ( Arabic grilled chicken )
Mix grill a platter of lamb goat and served with French fries
Kabab Dajaj mixed variants of kababs with French fries and all these dishes were decent in taste

Jumping to the main course we had only Biryani
Tried three different variants
Mutton chicken and veg and all were equally good
Lots of ghee in it and you can feel the aroma as son as it will be served

In dessert we had rice pudding which was not so good and authentic Arabic dessert Baklava
Kind of small biscuit made off layer of fillings with different assorted nuts and sweetened together
Best of the day
Staffs were friendly and helpful
Even though you will not be aware of Arabic food and confused what to order they will help you to find the right pick as per your taste bud
⚠️ very few option you will get if you want to try Arabic food like falafel
Overall a very good place to have authentic Arabic cuisine

In addition to this they have Delhi food festival going on up to September 15 where you can try some fingerlicking north Indian delicacy with some great offers.
Go for it 👍🏻

This place is located at a prime location of Koramangala under SS Lumina Hotel. If you are searching for perfect Arabian cuisine then this is the place. Chef from Middle East has curated some great menu which will satisfy your Arabic food cravings. There is parking issue as this place is right on the main road.

***** Ambiance *****
Nice and perfect ambiance for corporate events. Proper lighting and interiors will give you posh feeling once you enter this place. You can have ur food in peace.

**** Starters/ Main course *****
Dishes worth ordering:

Tabouleh
Fattoush
Hummus
Hummus Spice
Baba Ghannouj
Muttabal
Veg Manakish
Zatar Manakish
Falafel Platter

Chicken Al Faham Grill
Mix Grill
Kabab Dajaj
Baklava
Falafel Wrap
Rice pudding

Chicken Biryani
Mutton Biryani
Veg Biryani

Even though Arabic food taste is little bland for Indian taste buds but it will not disappoint you.

Sara’s Grill and Spice - Inordinate place serving some scrumptious Arabic and Indian cuisine.

If you are in Kormangala and in search of some new place then your search ends at Sara’s Spice and Grill.

The USP of this place being the Sous chef is from Middle east and he has curated some special Arabic dishes for all their patrons which are delicious.

Choose to visit this place for Dinner along with my foodie friends.

Ambiance – 3.5/5

A simple casual dine in place with bright lighting some wall paintings that depict the Arabic culture.

The seating options are quite comfortable for large groups, Family or friends.

Food 4/5

We had chosen a multitude of dishes – some Arabic ones and rest Indian fare.

Surprisingly they have fared well.

We started off with a Watermelon cooler which is pretty descent, fresh watermelon juice paired with ice and some mint leaves.

Then we tried their in house specialty Hummus and kuboos

The hummus is a fine balance of mashed chicpeas olive oil drizzled generously and then the kuboos served along with it is perfect.

A sure shot recco in here.

Starters – we choose the Banjara kabab and Brown chicken

The brown chicken was a bit way too dry could have been better and soft.

The Banjara kabab is surprisingly good soft chicken chunks grilled over tandoor with minimal spices.

The Mix non veg platter is again good.

This has a mix of mutton chops, mutton sheekh kabab and then chicken kababs.

The Lamb chops are great and then mutton sheekh served with salad is apt

The chicken kababs are equally good they are marinated well and tasted good too

Then we tried the Mango salad – which has a combination of mango, chickpeas, and peppers then seasoned with olive oil. Loved this one.

In main course we choose the Indian fare,

Paneer butter masala – panner cooked with rich tomato based gravy topped with cream and butter.

Was quite pleased with the taste – fresh paneer used to make this dish.

And the butter naan and rotis served as accompaniment along with them are equally good.

Hyderabad chicken curry was good again with right amount of rustic spices used and the meat is cooked to perfection.

The dal tadka is simple yet good.

Hyderabad chicken biryani is again show stopper in here, long grain basmati rice cooked well along with succulent pieces of chicken.

The aromas are intact and the flavors are spot on.

Do try their biryani for sure

Desserts -4/5

Baklava not one of the best but loved the variants they have served us.

Baklava is basically a layer pastry made with filo sheets then filled with chopped nuts and topped with honey.

This one is mild in sweetness quo but tastes great.

Do try it in here if you hadn’t tried it yet.

Service – 3.5/5

The staff are polite, but again they lack knowledge on things they serve and at times fumble when we ask for few things. Team you got to check on this. A bit a training will suffice.

They do try their best , and this is shadowed with the delayed service at times.

VFM – 4/5

The prices are moderate and would not burn a whole in the pocket.

Few dishes stand out and then we wouldn’t land up spending too much on a meal for two

Few minor hiccups though as they are fairly new to this. So would give them a benefit of doubt

Will come back for sure to try other delicacies.

Thanks a ton team Sara Grill n Spice for the wonderful meal experience. Keep the good work going.

A perfect place to have mix of Arabian as well as Indian food.

Situated in Koramangala 7th block, it is easy to locate this place. I visited this place on a Sunday evening with few of my foodie friends.

We did try varieties of dishes and they were indeed good.

Recommendations - Hummus, hara bhara kabab, paneer butter masala, Hyderabad dum biryani, mango salad

Coming to starters,
We did try Banjara kabab, brown chicken but hummus pita and hara bhara kabab stood out. They can improve upon the chicken starters a bit

In main course,
We had Hyderabadi dum biryani which was surprisingly very good. I dint expect such a good Indian food here. Even paneer butter masala was decent for the vegetarians.

For desserts we had baklava, this was the first time I tried it and it was something different. It is a pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts with honey.

Overall it was a pleasant experience and will surely try other dishes next time I visit here.

Food - 4/5
Service -3/5
Ambiance -3.5/5
Value for money- 4/5
Chef BB (Bibhuti)
Arabic food always bland in taste for Indian taste but they have uniqueness in their food. Each and every dish has a difference on its own. In Bangalore you may have so many options but the Saara's Grill n Spice serving you his best with the help of Chef Abbas.

I am with a group where we ordered some Arabic delicacies which was out of the world. North Indian offerings also not bad at all.

Some things you must try here
Hummus - it's Not the dry one what you get usually full of virgin olive oil flavour.

SAARA’s Grill
Primitive Man started cooking with fire about 2 million years ago and is to date considered his best invention. Middle Eastern culinary culture is known for its grilled meat and spices. As the name suggests, This place is popular for its impressive Arabian Cuisine with the head chef being from Lebanon and the owner based in Dubai. Located at SS Lumina Hotel in the Restaurant hub of Koramangala, it can accommodate around 100 guests with a buffet option on the ground floor.

Food- Decent Presentation. Impeccable Hygiene Quality Standards. Hummus with soft fresh pita breads was outstanding. Rich in olive oil, It had an explosion of flavours that excite the palate. My favourite and one of the best I’ve eaten in Bangalore. Highly recommended.

Mix grilled was fantastic. The assorted lamb kebabs were seasoned well and perfectly done.

Banjara Tikka was remarkable. Tender, juicy and nicely marinated.

Moving on to the main course, Biryani was excellent. Saffron long rice with Succulent pieces of chicken in a mild masala.

One vegetarian dish that deserves a special mention was the Paneer Butter Masala. Creamy and delicious.
Hyderabadi Chicken gravy was appetising as well with splendid texture, spice and taste.

To end on a delightful note, their famous Baklava for dessert was brilliant. Crunchy pastry that had the Right balance of sweetness.

However the Brown Chicken and Roast was below average. Over cooked, chewy and should be avoided unless it is improved. Rice pudding was an example of how looks can be deceiving, very ordinary. There is some incredible/ exceptional factor missing in the dishes that will create cravings for more. (7/10)

Ambience- Amazing interior decor that gives a posh and sophisticated feel. Spacious Arrangement. Well planned layout. Comfortable sofas and chairs for seating. Beautiful paintings on the walls add to the attractive look. Elegant flooring and furniture. Great Central Air Conditioning. Marvellous Wooden Panelling and designer wall carvings. Simple yet spectacular lighting. Calm and quite atmosphere ideal for conversations. (8/10)

Service- Wonderful Hospitality. Staff is courteous. But service is a bit slow and sluggish. Waiters need to be better trained, more knowledgeable and attentive in order to provide an efficient fine dining experience. Valet parking available. (6/10)

Moderate pricing that is not too heavy on the pockets.

I loved each of the main course item. The quality and quantity was so good that even after having lot of starters, I couldn't resist having them plentiful.

And of course, we had to try their desserts which included :-
➡️Baklava - was a bit skeptical about it as I have had delicious ones and it had been long since I ate baklava, but to my surprise, they were just awesome.😋
➡️Rice pudding - okayish taste.

Do give this place a visit and tell me what all you liked here.

A lesser known best in class Arabian restaurant in the area. With a very fine dine ambience, this place serves some really better Arabian food. To a surprise, we equally enjoyed the North indian and biryanis as well, but the excellence in Arabian food dominated.
*****************************************************

FOOD

We a bunch of friends visited this place on a Sunday evening. Located in 7th block, easily traceable by GPS and under the brand Lumina hotels, you will surely enjoy the best in class Arabian food.

In starters banjara chicken was really good. A couple of starters in brown chicken and chicken roast were not great. A little overcooked, they had a burning taste.
The hummus and pita breads were my favourites. Surely one of the best I have had in bangalore. With an authentic flavour and rich in olive oil, with nicely made breads, this was an ideal dish to have for the evening
Thee veg aloo kurkure were really good and there are other decent options for veg as well.
The lamb platter was really good and is recommended to have it hot.

In mains we have had paneer butter masala, hyderabadi chicken and chicken biryani. The paneer was just perfect with the best flavour that you can get out of a paneer butter masala. The biryani was done so well that we have to order another one despite being full.

In desserts we really enjoyed some authentic baklavas. You can get these in packs as well.
**************************************************

AMBIENCE, AND PARKING
A nice fine dine restaurant with good lighting.

The Starters

• Hummus-loved it.Great on presentation and tasted good with Pita Bread.
• Chicken roast-Best avoid
• Hara bara kebab-A dish that was whipped up with great pride by the chef. Bang on taste.Must try
• Banjara kebab-ok
• Aloo kurkure-Humble Aloo served beautifully and tasted equally good.
• Brown chicken-Good

The Main course

• Paneer butter masala-One of the few places that serve the dish with such richness in taste along with the right spices that you just can’t stop eating.
• Hyderabadi chicken-the tender chicken with the chefs secret spices and a wand of magic delivers something so extremely flavourful..MUST TRY
• Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani-At par with any other Biryani brand across the city. Rich on taste and presentation.
• Roti/Kulcha-good

The Desserts

•Baklava-one of the top 3 in taste have tried so far...too good and have to try. Will be back for this again.
• Rice Pudding-Maybe the Baklava overpowered my taste buds in doing justice for this. Feel was good in its own league.

My Ratings

• Food-4/5
• Ambience-4.5/5
• Value for Money-4/5
• Service-3/5

With proper reach, this place can give a tough competition to the neighbourhood on taste, hygiene, quality and price too....

The Starters tried were-

1. Hummus-too good. A absolute joy to eat.
2.Chicken roast-Not so great...edible.Could have been far better
3.Hara bara kebab-Too good.Prepared to perfection...Wow.
4.Banjara kebab-good
5.Aloo kurkure-am glad I tried this and liked it too.
6.Brown chicken-Best avoid

The Main course tried were-

1.Paneer butter masala-A dish done to such perfection that we just couldn’t stop licking our fingers...Superb
2.Hyderabadi chicken-Chef...take a bow. You have taken the dish altogether to a new level...MUST TRY.
3.Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani-Least expected to be so good but the chef here has given his best in whipping up a dish so close to our heart so right. BANG ON...Wow Chef.😋

The Desserts tried were-

1.Rice pudding-Honestly didn’t like it at all.Presentation too good but lacked taste.
2.Baklava-This was one of the finest desserts have tried of late and was just too yummy.MUST TRY.

A meal for 2 would cost around Rs 1200/- to Rs 1500/-

Buffet available at Rs 499/- +taxes.

I've been to this place a couple of times and I must say, I've been in love ever since. This is for someone who loves to eat meat and some ethnic food. Shawarmas here are explicitly made by an expert, they were so tasty. All over, the food and hospitality made me happy at the end of the day. Professionalism on another level.

last Friday, i went to saaras grill n spice actually I had banjaara Kabab , it was delicious and I did not had such a Kabab in my life , it was so delicious and I had chicken bamboo biryani , it was very delicious and has aroma taste at just for 149*. We dined here on Saturday, May 19th.
Upon arrival, we were greeted and asked if we'd like to sit somewhere more private or up front. We chose up front... literally the first large table as you enter the restaurant, Know that there is also an area for outdoor dining, too.Everyone that we encountered was pleasant and welcoming, which totally added to the overall experience for the night. Waiters, waitresses, floor managers, etc. all greeted us and spoke with us many times during the evening. Having read reviews and viewed menu prices , we knew that this restaurant was the best. The menu is extensive.... bottom line... you are going here for the Food and the Taste!.
It is an experience. Would we return? Yes, definitely. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff truly made the evening special.

The best buffet in town at the most affordable price. Must mention the kind of quality food & the variety they serve at that price, guess they are running some promo offers at the moment as this place is quite new in koramangala, would highly recommend you guys to go & try the food at least once! I am regular here now, I even get the food delivered through swiggy and they never fail to surprise you.. Surely you will fall in love with the food here !

Good food , value for money cheap buffet for 375 .
Nice place for family dinner. Bit confused for mutton provided logically mutton price is expensive than buffet price . Hope which I had was mutton.

I was at this restaurant today for the first time. The ambience was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. I opted for the buffet as I was really hungry. The service was excellent and the price of the food is actually very affordable. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

Amazing Taste. Authentic Lebanese taste. Since I travel frequently, never got the opportunity to taste such a taste ever. In one word - Must visit once and enjoy the authentic arabian taste.

Chef Youssef - Congratulations to you and your team.

This is hands down the best Arabian food we have ever tasted in Bangalore. Chef Youssef from Lebanon delivered on his promise of having us wanting more. The kebabs, alfaham and lamb chops were done to perfection. The taste was truly authentic and the meat was cooked just enough. The flavoured rice too was fantastic and that too all at a very reasonable price with a great ambience. looking forward to going there again and again!

I've Stayed in SS Lumina for 3 days during my trip to Bangalore. I'm From Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Being a South Indian , I loved the cuisine they offered me. There was everything a Typical South Indian wanted. They also had Various Cuisines i.e Arabic, Chinese. My favourite of them all was Shawarma!! I nearly had 4 of those. Regarding the Hospitality, I just loved the way staff treated me.

Want Some Good Arabic Food? One stop SS Lumina!
the food was excellent. the shawarma mainly is pure authentic Lebanese taste. the hummus, tabuleh were very delecious , and falafel was very crispy. The staff was very good and polite and they were very attentive . the restaurant atmosphere is very good . I would recommend every one to go to ss lumina hotel once and take the enjoyment of Arabic cuisine.

I wanted to celebrate my 10th anniversary with my family and I choose this place. It was a gamble and we were not sure if it was going to be a memorable experience. However, after stepping in, the staff was fantastic, very polite, very friendly, very respectful. We placed the order and were waiting. Then a politician entered with her supporters. I was little worried if we were asked to wait longer. Thankfully, nothing of that sort happened. We were treated with equal importance. Oh, i forgot to mention about the food. It was out of the world. I plan to visit this place once again. Currently, this is my family's first choice restaurant in Koramangala. I highly recommend this place.
