I love the butter naan served in this restaurant. It is layered and cooked with butter very well all the times I have dined or ordered here. Kindly maintain the same. Other dishes on their menu are good too. Must try restaurant for vegetarians in this locality.
Have been here multiple times. For one, the place is close to my home in Bangalore. Two, because of the variety of food they offer not to mention the taste and quantity.
It's a veggie place. Some good options to choose from particularly in main course. If you are in the padmanabhanagar area, this restaurant is a must visit.
My verdict
Ambience: 3/5
Taste:3.5/5
Value for money:3.5/5
A very necessary cuisine in the locality with no family restaurant around. Have visited multiple times over the years and it was just commendable in terms of taste initially but has slightly changed over time. Still very good and inexpensive especially the courteous staff need a special mention.

though it was raining the delivery time was satisfactory and even food was good.
one of the chowmein boxes had opened and the food leaked
always love their kaju masala, truly amazing stuff!
Food: the food is vegetarian. It is pretty good food. Good variety is available. Quantity is substantial. But expensive with compared to other hotels.
Atmosphere: nice place. But the decor is old and peeling. There is too much crowd. The ac's never function
Location: It is a centrally located place which is easy to find but is on the second floor and the lift is almost always on use by the service staff
Others: DO NOT VISIT ON WEEK ENDS UNLESS U WANNA WAIT FOR HOURS
Really Superb place.. nice ambiance and really superb food... I love veg good.. final found really nice place..I had tried south and north and starter.. it's amazing place.. I can give 100 out 100 in satisfaction
Perfect place for a quiet family dinner. Serves authentic, lip smacking North Indian food. Priced just about right (although they add service charges). Have good experience most of the times. Pretty quick in home deliveries too.. highly recommended for veggie families
Good Ambience,Tasty food with affordable price. Good hospitality also. Would recommend all Veggies to visit this place and enjoy the food. Appx cost for a small family of 2 adults and 1 kid is Rs.800 only.
Very nice ambience, worth the money.. Had ordered manchow soup which was bit spicy and tasty.. Spring rolls were also good.. Tried American corn rice which was average.. Overall a good restaurant to take your family and frns..
Was here twice the first time when my friend took me here for a Sunday outing had a waiting period to get our seating then and food was decent too... Recently was here for my cousin part for a group of 20.. Things have changed enormously, no much customers when compared to early time, got an easy table as walk-in and most of the tables were free till the end.. Starters were much better than earlier but the main was a let down and was not to the mark..
Since my family prefers an pure veg place, we happened to try this place to celebrate my dad's birthday.
It was raining out, a chill weather!
We started with ordering Starters : Panner Chilly Manchurian and Baby corn Special Dry 65.
Our taste buds were totally delighted! It was too good with The Perfect blend of spices!
Later We ordered an American Choupsey: The noodles were crispy but sauce was way too sweet with loads of pineapple! Which could have been minimized.
Coming to MainCourse : We ordered Roti's which were hot, Side dish we ordered were Kaju masala and Kadai Vegetables Both were equally good! Kaju masala had loads of kaju loaded, as name suggests!
Finally we ended our dinner with a bowl of vegetable fried rice, Not so appreciative but an OK dish!
Service was Quick, Overall a very good Dining Experience!
This is good place for simple North Indian food in our neighborhood. Service is courtesy. Food is recent. We usually go once in a while. Usually it's free from crowd. Love this place.
Had been here to celebrate a bday with my family. It's pure veggie place which my parents like.
We had a full course meal minus the desserts (by then we were full)
We ordered the following items:
Soup: tomato and Palak soup. Both were good and the Palak soup helped me to combat my cold. It was hot and tasted yummy.
Starters: baby corn satay- the presentation was unique and the kinda sauce used on it was something which I haven't tasted earlier.
Main course: we had kulcha and parathas with Palak paneer and veg Kolhapuri. The latter was spicy and the former tasted fine. Nothing special about these 2 gravies, but it went well with the kulcha.
The cost came up to 1200+ for 6 members. All in all it's an ideal place to spend time and eat with your family and friends.
Decent place. Wish they had non-veg as well. Food is tasty. Service is good. Good ventilation but you have to climb up 3 floors if lift doesn't work.
Food comes well packed in aluminum foil packaging when you order takeout or delivery.
If you are staying in the vicinity of Padmanabha Nagar and bored of cooking and want a break this is the place
It is pure vegetarian with all the regular North Indian delicacies the food is good nothing very special about it it's tasty
The thali in the afternoon is filling and good
It gets very crowded on the weekends and the waiting takes a lot of time. The ambiance is simple
The service is decent and the prices are moderate too
Overall a moderate restaurant if it's not crowded
The ambiance is really good! A pleasant environment playing peaceful music. Food is tastes really good. Service is fast. Serves North Indian and Chinese food. One needs to try Kashmiri naan it's different.
Great taste 😀😀
Mushroom pudina was awesome :):)
Great place
Good ambience:)
Friendly service:):)
Price is average 😋
Deserts were also good :):)
Must try place 😎
Yummy 😋😋
Had visited this place before and last week went der again.. The ambience is homely.. We had visited on a weekday so it was not crowded.. The service was quick. We ordered sweet corn soup, tomato and spinach soup.. The spinach soup was outstanding and very tasty! Will give 5/5 for that.. Worth having that as their signature dish.. For starters we had paneer satay and pudina baby corn chilly.. Paneer satay was sweet but was good... If it was a bit more crunchy it would be great!! Babycorn was really amazing and was not too spicy which was damm good.. Then we ordered roti, kulcha and butter naan and paneer tikka masala.. The waiter didn't note down the order properly.. We told 3 roti, 2 butter naan and 1 kulcha.. Instead we were served 3 kulcha, 2 kulcha and 1 roti.. We didn't wanna wait for more time so we ate that only.. The staff needs to be more courteous and welcoming. They should note down the order properly so that there is no confusion.. Overall it was very good and would love to visit again coz it's worth paying for the food!!
One of the place that can easily be located.
It is situated in padmanabhanagar.
The food was good and the staff were very helpful. The gravy(vegetable hydrabadi) was quite delicious but very spicy. It's not recommended for people who don't like spicy food.
The ambiance was good.
Apparently this place is a franchise of one of my favorite Indian restaurant! Yes it's a franchise of Gokul restaurant in Gandhibazar!
It is located on the main road easily placed and accessible. The ambiance is decent for a family dining. They also have a party hall which will always be reserved. The service was really good also as we knew the manager who was once looking after Gokul restaurant.
We ordered masala papad which is really crispy and spicy. For appetizers, panner special dry 65 which was absolutely tasty and spicy. We also ordered babycorn pudina chilly dry which was not bad as well. As for the main course, we ordered my favorite veg hyderabadi with roti and kulcha. The curry was tasty which perfect spice level and tasty as usual.
I'm glad to see this area with decent restaurants like this!
Food- 3.5/5

Rarely do I like pure vegetarian restaurants, this is one of them. My house very close to Green Gardenia and hence whenever I want to eat out but no mood to go to out and eat, I order from Green Gardenia. The main reasons being the delivery is quick and the food is as good as it can get.
I've been to the restaurant a few times and order for home delivery many times. The ambience of the restaurant is ok, nothing great about it but I'm someone who believes that you get what you pay for and for the price they charge, you cant expect a fancy ambience or something great. The waiters can be trained a little more.
Now coming to the main plus point about this restaurant, it's their food. The flavours are damn good and consistent. I like the Pudina chilli starters in this restaurant and if anyone is visiting for the first time then I highly recommend you to order one of the Pudina chilli starters, they are pretty spicy but have a very nice flavour and a zing to it. If I've to order breads here then my first choice would be garlic butter naan, nice roasted garlic on soft naan which falls apart in your hands when you tear it. My favourite gravy here is the Kaju masala and they're very generous with the cashew nuts. I'm not great fan of rice items in this restaurant but if you have to order rice then go for the Shezwan fried rice.
On the whole this is a nice restaurant to have good food and best for home delivery.
Food - 4.5/5
Value for money - 5/5
Ambience - 3/5
Service - 4/5
Good ambience and good service. The food tastes good, and is reasonably priced too.
The entrance to the restaurant is too narrow.
Also there is only north Indian food. No south Indian food options at all. Still, the food is good and hence I would recommend it.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Cleanliness is well maintained. Food is delicious!!
More of a family restaurant than friends meeting up.. Courteous staff.
I will definitely visit again with my family.
Could use some pleasant music though.
A nice decent place for dinner. Taste was very good. Visited this place after multiple references. Kept up with the references. Hospitality was good. Staff were friendly. Definitely would refer to others
Ambience is good. Hot and sour soap was okay okay. Starters were excellent. We didn't get chance to have rice items. Because we had gone for dinner around 9. by the time we go it was over. So better to reach by 8 if you are planning for excellent dinner without missing any items.
Green Gardenia is located in Padmanabhanagar and is on the main road and can easily be located. It's on the first floor and serves only vegetarian food. People say that it's a franchise of Gokul Restaurants and the food tastes similar too. I started off with the sweet corn vegetable soup and it was really good. I loved how it was generously filled with lots of veggies and corn. Next up, i tried the Vegetable Manchurian and it was a slight let down. I felt it had a lot of salt and lots of soy sauce than necessary. Coming to the main course, the Veg Kadai is my favourite here. I love how it has lots of flavour in it. The tandoor was also very well done. Next i tried the Handi biryani which definitely didn't disappoint me. Filled with paneer, veggies and babycorn it was really good. Overall, a decent experience! :)
Today was my second visit to this restaurant. I had been there a long time ago with my brother, when the restaurant had newly opened. My experience at that time was not very positive, so I hadn't been here after that. Today, I decided o give it another go. I'm glad I did, because my perception changed completely!
It was a rainy Sunday afternoon, so the place was pretty much empty. I was there with my mother. We were not THAT hungry, so we deiced to skip the starters and go directly for the main course!
The service was so damn quick! We had ordered vegetable kohlapuri, along with some Indian breads. Surprisingly, the order arrived within 6 minutes of placing it! The Indian breads, as well as the side dish were mouth-watering!
We also went for a milkshake and a sundae. Both were pretty decent, although they didn't meet the standards set by the previous dishes.
Here are my final ratings:-
Food - 4.5/5
Ambiance - 4/5
Service - 5/5
Value for money - 4/5
Hygiene - 4/5
Overall - 4/5
a great place with good ambience !!there are a lot of dishes available with exciting options! we'd love to try everythingfood was really great and available at a very cool price.
a good restaurant and a very nice place accesible with very good rates
Wanted to go near padmanabhnagar and searching found this restaurant. Went at right time later got really crowded. Quick service, customer friendly, and neat and good taste. Was able to enjoy all the dishes. A good visit for all vegetarians.
nice food. good service. I had panner
shwezwan dry.
butter kulcha.
kaju masala.
ghee rice.
lassi.
all were good and served hot.
a little too costly for veg.
veg only :(
Great food. Loved it.. reasonably priced as well...keep it up. Not sure about the ambience and all since I have never actually been here but judging by the quality of the food .. I would say its a safe bet..
This Hotel in Padmanabhanagar is a fine dine Restaurant. Have visited quite often for dinner, as it is close by. No need to travel anywhere far. Taste is Good, I would not say great. Ambience is also nice.. Located on the second floor. Service is also pretty Good. Overall 3.5 starss.. Coz there are other places where u get better taste & ambience for the price.
This place is epic fr food :)..
The taste is also good..there is no food which I felt needs a better taste..the party hall situated above is nic place fr small get-togethers!!
Surely one has to be here
Went here with avg expectations, but turned out to be great tasting vegetarian fare, this is no fancy restaurant serving food in fancy cutlery, but good ol vegetarian fare and a complete value for money kind of place.
This is an amazing place because its vegetarian and the food is really good. They have south Indian thali, north Indian Thali for all week days (no thali on sunday) with the rest of their speciality dishes. Gudbad is their speciality and I love the Navratna kurma (on the sweet side) and Kashmiri nan (thin nan with not too sweet jam and plenty of fruits on it) they serve. The fruits are fresh and it only leaves you asking for more. Paneer butter masala and kofta curries are also a good. The hospitality is also amazing. Its budget pricing, very reasonable and affordable. It feels great to visit the restaurant on week days, you get all the attention required. ITs too busy over the weekends.
The place is very hygienic but I wish they could keep it tidy too. While they take utmost care about food (food never touched with hands while serving, this is great considering the kind of hotel it is and the kind of other hotels in its vicinity) I wish they cleaned much better when the customer leaves. The floor or the seat does have some spilt food sometimes, especially over weekends...
I have been here many times as its near to my office, food is too good here especially the panner items....poori sagu which comes with south meal is amazing!!
Been here on a family outing. This is about 800m from the Devegowda petrol pump towards the Padmanabhanagar. Parking is a bit of problem as this is on the main road.
Food is excellent with a twist to the regular flavours we have been having till now.
Had Manchow soup with masala papad to start with
Rajasthani Gobi was simply excellent and Paneer Satay did not disappoint either
Garlic Naan with Mushroom chilly masala and Paneer Hyderabadi were good for the main course.
The only disappointment was the Mushroom fried rice which was slightly overdone.
Do I go back or do I recommend this to all? it is a big YES.
The ambience here is not very good. But since we came here for the food and not the ambience, a must-try in this place is Garlic Naan. Smelt delicious. Tasted delicious. Would not recommend the paneer sautey. I think the paneer was bad. Ruined the rest of dinner. Rest of the food were okay.
An amazing Vegetarian restaurant, pocket friendly too. I am a meat lover and yet I'd not mind going to this place for lunch or Donner frequently.
Food is extremely good and has the right amount of spice that you'd expect. And they make it spicy on request.
Their Paneer Satay is just too good that I've dropped in a few times just to eat that and walk out.
Other dishes to be tried:
Cashew Masala & Garlic Naan, Thali (worth it!!)
Finally a good restaurant for people in Uttarahalli and Padmanabhnagar! I went to this place because we ran out of options one evening and thought of giving this a try! The ambience is okay. But the food is really good. Mushroom pepper is a must! The starters are really amazing and the garlic nan is one thing you would probably not want to share it with anyone!
Green Gardenia is the answer to an area's dying need for good restaurants! (Uttarahalli and Padmanabanagar)
As many reviews have already suggested, their starters are amazing!! You kind of want to keep ordering one after another!
Main course had us happy with quality of the gravies (thick and cashew driven) and almost nothing to complain about. Their Garlic Naan truly defines to other restaurants on how it should be made!!
They also have old school ice cream sundaes like the Gudbuds, Falooda and Titanic that make us feel nostalgic about our growing up years and is a good escape from corner house so to say! (Thanks for sticking to these ice creams)
The best part is, it looks like they have addressed the bit where new restaurants today are becoming unnecessarily expensive and have kept their prices quite affordable! This strategy seems to work for them as we saw the large tables with big family crowd in huge demand! You can bet their food is fresh as they appear to be busy whenever we have visited.
Good job Green Gardenia!
My fav veg restaurant in south bangalore. Good value for money. One must Definitely try the garlic naan, Its brilliant! Fried rice is yummy too with the chef giving his own magical touch.
Also, the ice creams are well plated and
served in good portions, we tried the titanic ice cream and the falooda. Both were perfect! Will keep going there with family :-)
Green gardenia is good family restaurent newly open at padmanabnagar near to sai gold palace. Just 800 mtr from devegowda petrol bunk signal. It is in 1st floor. When i was visit the restaurent is crowdy because of weekend. Starters are good and tasty. Realy you have to taste veg balls and panner chilli. This is for only vegee foodies. Malai kufta is very good.
Overall a good place for veggies. Never taught the place will have crowd...yes the tasty food drags people...the food is served hot..ambience is also pretty good.

+3.5
Decent local Restaurant..
Plus
1) Tasty food(spicy food).
2) Decent menu.
3) value for money.
4) Quality and quantity well defined.
Minus
1) Average Ambience.
2) Too much Crowed on weekends makes you feel like in a fast food restaurant.
3) Staff are always busy u might have to stress for some attention.
4) Management of the place needs to be improved.
My rating is for the food alone!!
We visited the restaurent for a family dinner during November. It is situated on the Kadirenahally main road. The ambience is very good for sit-in-dining and the party hall with terrace dining facility supplemented with an elevator, are excellent. The North Indian vegetarian food served was excellent. The rates and taste are very reasonable and comparable to the Gokul Vegetarian restaurent situated in Basavanagudi. The dessert ordered was Gud bud ice cream, which was excellent. The starters were lip smacking and vegetable and panner subjis were rich in taste and quality.
It may look very plain from the outside which may give you a feel that hardly few ppl are inside...but you are totally wrong. We went inside to see a lot of ppl seated and a lot more waiting. We had a table reserved for us...so it wasnt a prob for us.We ordered n no of starters. The best being Rajasthani Gobi!!!Very crispy and brilliantly soaked in the masalas. Its a must try i'd say.Babycorn manchurian was good too.the paneer schezwan had an over dose of masalas. We had more of starters compared to main course.Pls dont order lime soda here...its the worst one can ever have. The main course is quite good!!the taste keeps lingering in your mouth! For garlic lovers...you can try the garlic naan like i did...its stuffed with chopped garlic accompanied by some masala.end of it...it still doesnt make your mouth stink :D :D
And for the desserts....we ordered mango ice cream.....id say its the best mango ice cream i have had till date!!:)
Overall a nice restaurant to have good food...!!!!
Of of my favourite in the list of restaurants around me. Very unique and surprisingly they serve quite a lot of spicey food unlike majority of Bangalore restuarants, staff's are very nice and ambience can be overlooked for a good meal you get. I feel it's little overpriced.
Taste- 4.0/5
Staff- 4.0/5
Cleanliness- 3.8/5
Quality- 4.0/5
Value for money- 3.5/5
Tasty food. One of the good veg restaurants. No parking for four wheelers which makes it difficult to search for parking space on main road
Party hall to accommodate around 150 guests and dining hall is in separate floor.
This is an excellent place for Dinning good parking lot, delicious foods, Good for partying also
Nice ambience, great taste and good value to money.
Personal suggestions:- "panner satey".
Try this!.
I visited the party hall for a celebration. The hall is big enough for small function expecting 150 to 200 people. The food was very tasty and the best thing was that it was served hot for everyone. Even at 3 in the afternoon, the dishes were served hot. The people who served too were very cordial and friendly. The hotel is just beside the main road and bus connectivity is good as there is a busstop just opposite to the hotel.
Green gardenia is veg restuarant come party hall its cool place for celebrations
160 for unlimited lunch, 190 for unlimited dinner. Taste good and good ambient 😃
This review is for Party Hall (2nd floor) & catering services.
Pretty good place for small functions can accommodate upto 200+ guests easily.
Food was very tasty and was served well to all guests.
+1 star for returning golden ring of birthday boy, which one of the staff found in Hall and returned to us promptly.
Good hall for functions. Nice food!
The taste was awesome.... good service...
Yummy food..... highly recommended....
I would give it a rating of 4.5 .
The food was pretty good. The Mughlai Biryani could use some more flavour extremes. The ice cream was great! Overall, it is a good place to have a cosy lunch.
Booked a party hall which can accommodate for 50-60 People. Air Conditioned facility is available. Food was okay.
Elevator is too small that only 4 people can accommodate one time. Accessible to bus stop or any local transit.
Best hotel in padmanabhanagar, The manager Manjunath is a very nice person he does everything to make sure things work out for customers . This hotel offers buffet with very good menu and they also provide door step service .
