Highlights:
1. I have always loved Dal Makhni of Box8 as it is always thick and creamy, justifying it's aunthetic taste.
2. The chicken used seems fresh as the taste of all the chicken gravies are amazing.

Perfect home like food and parantha. Not too much oil like others to make it look good. The taste is good as well. The north indian authentic touch is still there even in Bengaluru. The delivery time is blazing fast as well. We have so far ordered almost 10 times in last 3 months including almost everything in the menu. Specially loved the plain parantha and Paneer gravies. Daal makhni is pretty tasty as well. Well done guys!!

The worst place I have ever ordered from. They delivered wrong items. And the number is not reachable or out of order and Zomato wasn't much of a help either.When I order my food I want my God damn food to be delivered. How hard is it to get the order right and I agree people make mistake but after this happened I couldn't even get through to them. Also I noticed they just reply to positive feedbacks not the negative ones. Bravo long way to go if you are gonna still Continue like this. I hope you shut down soon and considering your service and response to customers pretty sure that will happen .<br/>The screenshot of the orders that i placed and the ones delivered are attached to this review. Recently ordered paneer makhani had a burnt smoky flavour. The mushroom masala box was average. Unlike my first experience ordering here. Expected better.

I wish I could give a negative rating for them. My order was not delivered at all. I paid the amount & the order was received asap. But even after 1 hour it was showing food is being prepared. Such a horrible experience it was. The order was cancelled after 1:30 hrs. If u guys don't know what's customer service u should learn that first before doing this business. Or if u r doing business just to cheat people & earn their hard earned money, u have better ways to do that. I will never order from here again nor suggest this restaurant to others.

I WAS TOLD BY BOX8 THAT ORDER IS cancelled. However, zomato tells order delivered. The delivery guy never came to apartment. Box 8 telling that the address is not traceable and delivery guy waited for 20 mins. Both are conflicting statements as if delivery guy waited for 30 mins where did he wait if the address is not traceable???

I ordered food at 10in night.. 10.51 got a massage that my food is delayed and when at 11.10 around i called to the restaurant they said that the food is out of stock and the ordered will be cancelled.. it was frustrating as we had to wait empty stomach just to know that my food is being cancelled and the worst part is their is no direct contact to the restaurant... And call centre guy has no authority to give restaurant's number( reason was shit)... If their was less than 1star this restaurant deserve less thna 1star.. its bttr Zomato take them out of listing otherwise people like me have to go to bed empty stomach.. The order came 30-35 minutes late and there were hairs in the veg-biryani and the quantity of chicken was very less in the chicken tikka biryani which is not acceptable. Box8 disappointed me for the first time.

Don't know why is it listed on zomato if it delivers only in 2kms radius. Ordered twice on Sarjapur road and they cancelled both times citing they don't deliver beyond 2kms

I order an food through online with box8.they accepted the order in the begining but at last they refused to deliver the order after 1/2 an hour by saying its out of delivery.my concern is if they cant deliver the order they could clearely denied at the begining not after 1/2 an hour.

Very bad service, after confirming the order and bill payment, it cancelled order saying we don't not delivery to this area. It particular thing should be informed before taking order, not after the order. Very poor and time wasting service. This was my first order and I am very disappointed.

I had Murgh Dum Biryani and Chicken Tikka biryani. The chicken pieces in both biryanis were soft, juicy and tasty. Chicken tikka biryani was little extra spicy. Quantity was ok. Raita was normal.

Have ordered smoked Nawabi chicken steak meal, tandoori chicken steak meal, moong dal halwa and lemonade. And I must say that I have never expected such an awesome steak meal at this price. It was a perfect combination of healthy plus tasty meal, even the quantity vwas generous and each meal was sufficient for one.The halwa and lemonade were also good.

Ordered muglai chicken meal... It was good but it's a request please cook the rice perfectly. None of the south restaurant cook the rice properly... It's is always half cook. At least we expect box 8 to provide a properly cooked rice..... Else we will be getting health issues<br/>

Box8 has some amazing yummiest and healthiest paratha wraps. They are sumptuous and extremely tasty. -Chicken tikka paratha Wrap, mayo wrap. I enjoy their two meals - Chole Tikki Meal - it has the right amount of chole and optional (rajma/dal makhani/chole) and i have tried all the three combos. Along with two tikkis and the brownie /gulab jamun, makes a complete meal for lunch or dinner! Chicken Masala Meal - just the perfect blend of masala and chicken tasting like ‘ghar ka chicken masala’ yummy in my tummy! If only they would provide the chicken masala meal separately as a curry then i would order everyday. Because the meals sometimes becomes too heavy. And when you are looking for a light meal, the curry and paratha separately could really be good!

Earlier the taste of food and the quantity used to be good but this time I ordered Rajma chawal box but what I got was a box filled with rice and onions and negligible amount of Rajma ( decent amount for a toddler maybe) . Worst ever experience, will never order again from Box8 & Zomato. Ordered bulk (15 meals ) and got a confirmation that they have accepted the offer and it's confirmed. After 1hr I get a call that some items are sold out so they will amend the order. Took 30min over the phone to update the order. I again got got confirmation on new order. It was already 10pm. Till now all my team members were crying due to hunger. No delivery for another 1hr..message came that my order will get delayed. After getting message I called Box8.. They say that all items are sold out. OMG where is my confirmed order then? Why did they confirm & not call me to update that they are not sending the order. Did Zomato guy ate it on the way?

Worst service I got from box 8 and this is not a single time multiple times it happen. Last night I placed order that was pure veg but dilevery boy delieverd non veg and after that when I have lodged the complain so restaurant guy blocked my number and delivery boy also blocked my number bcoz of this bulshit happens I slept without food kindly take action against box8 outer ring road Bellandur . The food fairly good. Ordered the all in one box, wasn't disappointed. The parathas were cut into small triangles making it easy to handle and eat. The taste is also good. I recommend trying box8. But the main selling point would probably be the late night delivery. It's mostly renowned for having quick deliveries at pocket friendly prices.

I ordered my food by around 9:30 in the evening...got a confirmation from kitchen accepting the order and the wait starts...I waited...and waited and by 10:40 my phone rings...call from BOX8 staring they cancelled my order stating they don't have service in my area. Just one question....why couldn't you cancel it ontime so that I could try some other option ? Now I am forced to starve. Be a little more professional please..

Let me be frank and tell you that you guys have the worst support team. The food I order was suppose to take 35..which took 1 hour 30 mins..I tried calling your support number for status and everytime I get connected with a waiting time of almost 6 minutes, your agents will simply disconnect the call without even speaking..I tried it thrice and felt very annoyed..I tried the chat options which clearly says the wait time could be 2-3 minutes but I never got connected even after waiting for 26 minutes..After the food was picked I called up the so called 'sooperman' and told him to come early as it has crossed 1 hour and I had to sleep early for early morning office and heard him talking to someone that I will deliver this only after 2 orders since my place is not known to him..Zomato Zomato worst experience..would not recommend ordering online..0 Star please..

This restaurant usually comes to my rescue whenever my cook decides to ditch me and the reason I always turn to Box - 8 is its simple yet delicious food, almost like a home-cooked meal, and the second major reason is its superfast delivery, without fail. Being a non-veg food lover, I'm strictly not a veg-biryani fan. But I happened to try its subz biryani and loved it! Now I end up ordering it all the time along with the veg thali.

So I ordered from Box8 two weeks ago for dinner and was supper impressed from the price, delivery and food. My husband and kids ate happily without any leftovers. Then I ordered based on that and because our gas cylinder conked out yesterday for lunch, and extra for leftovers. Sad to say, I was disappointed. The chicken pieces were almost rawish tasing. And the fiery wings was a disappointment. I felt like I wasn’t eat real food, that was a flop. Also the chicken pieces in the saag and biryanis were almost undercooked tasting. My kids didn’t eat and that was a bummer...I contacted them with no success and also Zomato who tried and nothing done. Hope to not have this happen again.

We regulalry order from box 8, given to the quality of food served. The rolls, salads, recently added starters (especially sheek), natural ice creams are our favorites. The delivery is done timely, packing is neat and food quality is great.<br/><br/>They run discounts regularly and when these are purchased on discounts they look best at that price range.

Ordered saag chicken and dal makhni with couple of tawa paranthas. Saag chicken was ultra spicy with tiny pieces of chicken , a complete waste . Dal makhni was thick creamy and high on spice again . I wont recommend this place if you are looking for quality north Indian food .
