Simply best, affordable, homely north Indian food im BTM 2nd stage. It is run by mostly ever-smiling young guns. Basically this restaurant is a saviour for people like us who settle in Bangalore from northern part of India. Try once and get your dinner sorted. :)

I have been eating here since 1 year. Every evening. Writing review in detail. Hoping owner reads it. So why 4 star? Food is good, healthy, hygienic and good quality, but...it costs around 85 to 110 rupees easily. In unlimited dish of 100rs For one person food is too much. Point is: They need simple 60 or 70 rupees fix dish introduction. It would make people coming everyday. Just reduce the cost and food quantity.

I was a regular at this place when I stayed in BTM. Tasty and budget friendly. The hotel did not give me a good impression the 1st time I saw it. But, on recommendation from my friend(s), I tried and MANNNN....this place served pretty good food. All items I tried turned out to be tasty. Again, not sure about the recent past (Covid and post-covid) how it is doing. But, I would definitely visit this place again if I have a chance.

Compact space. But nice homely food at reasonable price. Generous staff.

It's a very economical eatery typically for North Indian food. Everything this is fresh and tasty as well.

Food is good and fresh. Buffet system. Except sweets, all items are served unlimited. Pay once and eat more. Different tariffs are available according to your budget. Not convenient to spot out. Use Google maps. Accepts cards and paytm and cash. Would love to visit again.

The food is good, as the name suggests, it's close to our Ghar as it uses less useless spices to cook food. Daal is also good here, chapati and other stuffs are also prepared on the spot and served hot. Coming to it's prices, it's really very competitive and easily manageable as compared to other shops and the food they serve. So it's a must try place.

worst quality food, chapati were uncooked, tasteless

Trying to be as polite as possible. This is one pathetic place to order your food from. Horrible food delivery system. They change your order and most of all just give half the order.

Most of all don't even provide a bill. The delivery boy just scoots off and the restaurant ppl just disconnect the call.

Zomato should ban this restaurant from their platform.

Below is the pic of so called veg thali.

Tawa is a small eatery in one of the quiet alleys of Koramangala 1st block. Truly speaking, there's no ambience at all, it is a place with 4 tables and chairs where you can get good, pocket-friendly home cooked, Bihari food.

Last night I had a veg thali comprising unlimited servings of chapattis, rice, dal, okhra fry, alu tamatar ki sabzi, salad along with a plate of chicken curry with three chunky pieces. The veg curries in the veg thali are subject to change everyday. The thali was charged Rs 80 and the chicken curry was priced at Rs 120.

Here are my quick ratings -

5/5 for food: The food is steaming hot, and fresh. You can get as many servings as you want if you order the thali. Every item carries the authentic flavour of Bihari cuisine.

4/5 for price: The thali is well-priced. However I found the chicken curry to be overpriced, with only three pieces of chicken served for Rs 120. There's no GST.

4/5 for service: They provide prompt service. They do not have card payment system. They accept only cash or PAYTM (not super sure about this one).

Like I said before this is a place where you would go to have a quick meal, and not look forward to having a quality time. Thus I'm not putting this into consideration.

Will I visit again? - Probably, yes! :)

This guy is a fraud and scoundrel. Don't ever lend any money to this guy. As a goodwill gesture I gave him money in advance. Now, Rs 740 amount is due but he is simply not returning the amount. Neither picking up the call. Its been almost 2 months now. I am currently not in Bangalore and he is taking full advantage of the same.

A very small place in a by lane of Koramangala 1st block with economical price and a tasty homely food.
Ambience wise not a good place to go but food wise,we can say yes specially the parathas.

If this platform boasts abt food then the rating in only for FOOD @ Tawa.

A very small place in a by lane of Kormangala feeding the stomach of many ppl in an economical and a tasty way.

This place has a zero ambience so do not look for a dining experience, but on the plus side it feels like home with simple tables and chairs.

Paratha Lovers your search has ended ..as they serve BAM's (Big Ass Paratha's).

Overall:-
Food: 4 on 5 (standard)

Ambience: 2 on 5 (Homely Feel)

Service: 3.5 on 5 ( Small hence attentive )

Price: 4.0 on 5 (pretty reasonable)

Location: 2.5 on 5 (Hard to Find)

I read the reviews and was worried but still went and tried. Nice hot parathas on a rainy night with warm aloo curry. I say definitely a yes. Parathas were made in wheat and Tara roasted and with minimal oil. I like it.

Went there last week on a weekday around 9 30 pm.

POPULARITY INDEX
Low just one other table

AMBIENCE
No frills dhaba type mess but had different rooms so cozy atmosphere . Located on a quiet side street

CLEANLINESS
Neat Clean Hygienic

SERVICE
Quick attentive

FOOD
Ordered the veg thali. Rs 70 Comes with Chapati, Rice, yellow dal, Bhindi, Choli gravy, salad, dahi. Salad was good. Rest of the food ingredients were good but NO TASTE OR FLAVOR The cook is A HAJAAM CLUELESS.

SUMMARY
AVOID COMPLETELY; LOTS OF OTHER GOOD OPTIONS LIKE SREE THALI , GUPSHUP etc
