Punjab Mail restaurant is located in Margosa road, Malleshwaram, next to Temple meals restaurant and it is diagonally opposite to Malleshwaram Club & Ground. Recently this restaurant has been renovated and can occupy more than 40 to 50 people at a time. Ambience of this place is moderately looking. I have visited this place multiple times in weekends with family. Best place to spend time with Friends, Parents, Family and Relatives. It is a table order and need to wait for few minutes to receive your placed order, in peak time you need to wait for minutes together to receive your ordered food. There is no dedicated parking facility available at this place. One can park 2 wheeler in front of the restaurant for few minutes.
Punjab Mail restaurant have a wide variety of options like Soup, Chinese starters, Maa De Hath Da Kamaal, Chinese Soup, Chinese Main Course, Indian Rice, Lunch Combo, North Indian Curry and Breads, Chinese Rice, Noodles, Salad, Raitha, Desserts, Papad, Lassi and Beverges. Recently they have started with Chats and Breakfast items.
I have tried following items at this place:
1. South Indian Breakfast items like Poori Saggu, Idli chutney and Vada - Taste need to be improved according to South Indian style
2. North Indian Items like Roti, Kulcha, Kajju Curry, Lahore Masala Papad, Sweet Corn Soup, Fried Rice, Schezwan Rice, Cauliflower & Baby Corn Manchurrian,Handi Briyani, Panner Butter Masala - One can try North Indian dishes at this place and it is very good wrt taste, varieties, quality
3. Chats - Plain Samsoa, Samsoa Masala, Masala Puri, Sev Puri, Pani Puri - Price is at higher side and it is not worthy for that price. Taste is okay not that great !!
Restaurant need to maintain the cleanliness in the kitchen & tables and Restaurant is mainly specialised in North Indian Dishes

This place serves different varieties of tandoori tikkas, there are so many options that I ended up really confused🤪 But the carrot halwa at this place is a must try, I enjoyed every bite of it. One go to place for punjabi cuisine. Recommended!!
Punjab Mail is decent restaurant located on Main Road on Margosa Road close to Malleswaram Play Ground. We had dropped by to have dinner after shopping. Ambience is decent, they serve good food but not authentic Punjabi Style rich food. We had ordered Tomato Soup, Pudina Paneer Tikka, Garlic Butter Naan & Paneer Tikka Masaledar with Choice of Ice Cream & Cool Drink. Over all a Decent to Place drop by once
Fresh lime juice and vegetable soup are awesome
Very tasty😊 everything from Punjab mail is gud
Awesome veg food, the Chinese babycorn chilli, Punjabi Chole Masala were really great. On time service and courteous staff. A good place to try in Malleshwaram
Love this place for the food, staff and the homely ambience...very reasonable prices, had a satisfying meal !
I had been for the 1st time and this place serves some nice vegetarian food.
Food: paneer lababdar was good, the butter roti was nice and the Badam lassi was just right it was not too sweet.
Ambience: it’s a punjabi theme restaurant
Staff: very polite and courteous
We were strolling around the area post the usual lunch time. With other options not available, we finalized on this one.
It has a surprisingly nice ambience with decent sitting. Wasn't costly, bill for 2 people was 500rs. We experienced some very good service since there were not many people around that time. Coming to the most important part, food quality was decent. We tried their Punjabi Thali and it was almost sufficient for 2 people. It was 'value for money' experience for me.
This is one of my favourite Punjabi restaurant, they have great vibes and vibrant environment. The truck kitchen cover is also cool for first timers.
My usual here is a butter paneer masala and naan, it's are so amazing!
However, today I choose to try something new and ended up having a Nawabi baby corn which was not well cooked. Followed by Patiala paneer which is a two in one gravy, sounded interesting, tasted fine. The breads were amazing as always.
The dum subz Biryani had a blast in my mouth, the spice and hotness with cooling raita was a delight.
For desserts you can choose from their list of entremet or kulfis.
I wouldn't say I was happy with my meal today but this rating is for all the previous meals that's been top notch.
Hope this was helpful :)
Nice place with friends and family.picking anything on the menu, the food is always tasty and delicious.there is good variety of cuisines on the menu .Biryani and palaka paneer was yummy.kudos to who runs the place.
this is a nice place for vegetarian and punjabi food..it is pocket friendly and the ambience here is great...
you also have free wifi here which is awesome for most of us...
i recommend you to have a thali here which is awesome and makes more sense as you would pay much more for a single sabji and rotis than the whole thali with many dishes in it...
The food was very good and great ambience, the waiter Shiva was very friendly, and really fast service and was very patient and catered to our needs
Nice place with great food and great service by Shiva and Bishwajeet. Will surely be back for more!
Sangria was lovely so was the Dum Biryani
A very authentic punjabi cuisine restaurant at the heart of Malleswaram. I am actually a fan of their tasty special Lassi served in beautiful jars. The food is also great. Price is very decent compared to other authentic Punjabi restaurant in Bangalore. Good for students too. Very appropriate for the area. Decent ambience. Quick service.
Must try: Punjabi Lassi, Punjabi Chhole Masala
Might wanna try: Mem Sahab di Dal Makhani, Dal Fry
Should never try: None
Food: 4
Pricing: Medium
Service: 4
Ambience: 2.5

The best north Indian hotel in this part of town. Pocket friendly and drool worthy food. 😍 Their starters platter is amazing and they have a huge variety of side dishes.

Best place in the city for north indian food lovers ,
A fantastic place and yummylicious food. Quality and taste of served here makes every buck spent worthy. Quick service as well even with a full house.
Tasty food by Punjab mail loved it a lot
One of the best place in Orion mall .... Lunch buffet is fabulous special daal and paneer .... Me little baby always here for paan shots ... Keep it Punjab grilll
Overall ambiance is great. The servers are friendly. the food is great. But the quantity of food is less for the price. You have to expect quality over quantity.
The take our extra instructions into consideration.
One of the most delicious eatery in Bangalore undoubtedly. We ordered food from this place like crazy for 2-3 days continuous, and they dint disappoint us even once. The food was too yummy and their service was fast too. Over the days we ordered paneer tikka , chicken dishes, certain starters and what not, I don't remember the names but all of them were really heartfilling. Would love to order again.
Please increase Quantity. Taste was good. Quantity for money do not match.
I tried the special punjabi maharaja thali for lunch which comes with 2 roti's, a paneer curry and a regular curry, a chinese starter, dal, rice, papad, raitha and a gulab jamoon. The rotis and the curries were good. The paneer curry was distinctive and tasty. Dal was bland but tasted good. I did not like the taste of the gobi-based chinese starter much. Raitha and papad were good. Quantity of rice was adequate. The jamoon could have been more soft. The curries, dal and roti came piping hot, which is a thumbs up! Overall a decent and filling meal for the price. Service was quick. The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good. Would definitely recommend visiting.
Food is very delicious we have been ordering from this restaurant its been consistent. Today i wonder how kanjoos it was to give only 3 bread pieces with soup.
They serve very good authentic North Indian dishes where the soup, rotis and curry I had ordered were excellent and the packaging was also quite good. Whenever I order from this restaurant they never let me down in terms of taste, quality and quantity.A must try restaurant 👍
quantity of vegetable was very less
dal and chawal is too good. potato kebabs were also too yummy
A very decent place to dine-in with good ambience. Every time I've been here with my group, it's been a great experience with respect to quality of food, price and service. Tandoor starters usually need time to prepare, so no complaints on that. I would suggest everyone to try the North Indian Thali, Tandoor Parivar platter & Punjab mail BIG platter. Coming to the service, the guy Amaan Singh is especially amiable, and this guy suggests some really good dishes & has pretty cool knowledge on a lot of North Indian gravies. So don't miss to ask for some suggestions from him if you are new to the place.
Near Nagasandra Metro station.. A good Hotel is very spacious to sit and have Food with Family and Friends, starters and gravy were delicious.. Roti was Bad as it was not of whole wheat.. rest dishes were yummy
If you are visiting ikea I’d recommend to give a visit to this place and have food ,the place is at a walking distance from ikea the food is great and tasty. The waiters are very good and food is delivered on time . Loved the starters , roti and lassis .
Amazing food. very little to low oil and you don't feel bloated or heavy after the meal.closest to home food. The service is prompt with friendly staff. i recommend this place on your next visit to IKEA. This is just 350 metres away
Tandoori soya chap mushroom Lahori were tasty.
The food was very tasty good food but the service was not very friendly the servers were late in serving the food and took their own time to come and ask us what we need and the tables were also arranged randomly. Also there was nobody to guide which table to move to Dehradun check and then come back before you can decide where to sit always moving around to the first floor through stairs and then finding out there is no place to sit
Amazing !! Less oil and simple yet tasty
- one of the go to place for punjabi veg food
- quick Service
- value for money
- ambience on lower side, can be improved
- parking available on the roadside in front of the place
Like the name says Authentic Punjabi dishes..enjoyed the dinner, veg restaurent, staff is gud, service is fast at 5min wait, food is delicious, bt price seemed very high also visiting 2 ppl there will be more food, try n visit min 4 ppl. Example i took 4 roti n one gravy, n half gravy still left.. To finish tat again ordered rice, they can give half gravy so tat we can order another gravy.
The place is great for punjabi food. Ordered paneer tikka, paneer bhurji and dal makhani. All of them were great and quantities were enough. The taste was very similar to dhaba in North India. Pudina lemon soda sikanji was also great. The service was quick and good. Washroom was clean.
Very good veg Punjabi food. Roti, dal, phulka, masala papad, were all good. I didn't have enough room to order rice.
We tried lassi sweet and salt.
Punjabi mail special curry and Punjabi mail special pulaw and roti it's good it tastes like home made.
I suggest that if yu're going ask the serving person what's good and special about Punjabi food so that yu can try those instead regular available menu.
It was our first time I would like to visit again.
I have visited many times. Decent menu good taste. I'm not statsfied with Parathas. It was good but not up to the mark. Veg kabab was fantastic. Overall good restaurant can spend the time with family and friends it is in mid of the city that is the added advantage parking car is not a problem near by can park. Noon time less rush. Recommended to visit Once.
