It's a budget friendly option in murugeshpallya for food. They have really nice options in nonveg and the food tastes really good. Also you can get nice options in Kerala food. The kerala chicken curry served here will give you same taste as you will find at ur home.

Small but cozy place. The turnover of customers are quick and its famous for chicken and seafood dishes. Really lip smacking dishes. I ordered for prawn masala and fried fish with neer dosa. All the food items were preparwd with mild spices as i had requested and the staff was very courteous as well. The dishes are reasonable as well.

Salala is a small Kerala mess near church Road. Owner is a very friendly and attentive person. Your order is served very quickly and food is yum. Porotta and meat curry is very famous. Appam is authentic toddy made and is served hot. Cheers salala Follow my food journey on Instagram (@vy_was_here)

Food is good especially for Kerela people and it's a mallu hotel and the taste of food is also good

Well, Hotel Salala is not just a kerala style restaurant, it's a multi cuisine restaurant that has lots of items in their menu. Apart from authentic kerala dishes, they serve other south Indian items (say mangalorean), Chinese, north Indian, tandoori etc. All these items are excellent, their cook must be an all rounder. The reason behind their success is the owner, he runs around and takes care of each and everything in this restaurant. We ve been regular to salala for 6+ years for lunch from office.

Good place for Kerala food. Authentic Kerala tast and very reasonable prices. Non veg food is the speciality and it is very good. Very basic restaurant, neat and clean. No parking facilities available.

Owner of this place is a gem, people need to learn from his service. Food here is just awesome and has always improved over the period of life.

This is such a gem of a place. It's a place that specialises in Kerala Cuisine. In Love with their Food. Soul Food is what I can call the food. Right starting from the aroma and ghee rice will mesmerize you. The kalmi masala was perfect in taste. And the Fish Fry was a show stopper. In fact I am a huge fan of their Shawarma Plate. Such Pocket Friendly price. But there Appam could be better and was cold when served.

Hospitality is the big plus. Chapathi is very good along with egg gravy and kadala curry. Aapam is very poor looked very bad! Difficult to spot the shop. Menu is Zomato is an out dated one. Name of restaurant is found in menu book

A small no-nonsense restaurant for Kerala style food. Renovated recently. Good taste, reasonably priced food. Friendly staff. Not a place for spending long hours.

I very well remember ordering from this restaurant when i first moved in Bangalore. Salala hotel is specialized in Kerala cuisine. Owner is a gem and is more attentive to your orders unlike other restaurants nearby. Budget friendly, decent ambiance and easy location makes it more crowded. They do serve Chinese and north Indian food. Do visit.

When i stayed in murugeshpalya,i once visited this place, even though the place is a bit shabby but the food is great.Once you enter you will get the aroma of a typical "KERALA FOOD".<br/><br/>"KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS"

I have had items home delivered a bunch of times and almost on all occasions, the food is really good. Whether its crab, quail, beef or mutton, all the dishes were yummy. Plus, the prices are very affordable and the delivery doesn't take longer than half an hour.

This place is a typical kerela mess to begin with. Dont go with high hopes and dont dare to order northindian cuisine. If u judge this place from a kerela cuisine point and the cost of the dishes, its one of the finest I've been too.
Goan Foodies
Food is authentic Malabari! They also serve you on a banana leaves on request. Portion sizes are decent. Prices super reasonable. This place is like a typical Kerala canteen mess. They serve this herbed reddish hot water which is apparently good for digestion. (Not rasam). If you don't mind sitting in a cramped place and eating... You won't mind this... Must try are their biryanis... My keralite bachelor friends swear by this place. I tried it and I loved the biryani. I guess the best would be to order in. Haven't home delivered anything from them so can't comment on their delivery standards.
Sri Ram Chaparala
Taste of food is good. Doesn't have a great ambience. Just a small hotel which serves tasty kerala dishes at very reasonable prices. Prefer to have a home delivery.

I used to like this place - every now and then I would crave for some good kerela meals or some kerela cuisines this was my go to place. The food there was good enough and you can't even complain on the quantity it the taste. BUT one fine day I was going to the corner to wash my hands when I saw a cockroach casually walking over the fish fry kept over a plate as if it was on its usual Sunday afternoon walk. Need I anymore, that was the end of it and I have never stepped foot there. Took me almost a few to get over that. P.S: This review is coming in 5 months late

Good food. Place is not for ambiance.. but you can taste nice Kerala style food at reasonable price or cheaper than what you can expect. Home delivery service is also good. Loved the meals what they serve.
Pruthesh
Pathetic service. You'll never get your delivery if you order. Language barrier since they aren't familiar with English or Hindi. They'll try to avoid your calls if they haven't yet delivered.

After the review only I have been to Salala, its a ok kind of restaurant. Food was ok out of all dishes I had (scz rice, roti, paneer, and so on) aapam n stew is best. Typical kerala hotel good for bachelors.. If you are vegetarian then it is not the right choice. Service was ok but the hotel stinks ,no proper cleaning and so on. But a pocket friendly hotel
Rohini
A deceptively blink-and-miss place that is always buzzing and serves inexpensive and delicious food. Try the fish dishes, avoid Chinese-sounding stuff. Home delivery is super prompt (by Bangalore standards). <br/><br/>The downside: Most of the items are made in a lot of oil and the place isn't hygienic.
ABHINEET CHOUDHARY
This is wrong number the right number is 9036740750 name shafir. The number given is not of Salala. its of another restaurant named M R restaurant which provide food of low quality.  This is my true exprience.

very good biriyanis available here.<br/>at a very less price.<br/>value for money with no compromise on quality.<br/>a must go for all the people who are looking for a good food at a considerable price.
Ruby

It's a tiny Mallu joint next to Suchitra Biryani on Old Airport Road but the food that it serves is right up there with some of the bigger establishments I've eaten at. The chetta who runs the place has a perpetual smile on his face and is nearly doting. The dry chilli chicken was probably the best I've had in years and the parotta and beef would've been brilliant with a beer or three. It's ridiculously cheap and very clean, while it may look shady it is anything but. Top off the meal with a cutting and a burp. Lifesaver this place.
