Review South Spicy Bites - Bengaluru

Been visiting this place for more than 10 yrs.. one of the best in area for sea food and tandoor items.. i would recommend this place for tandoor chicken items and fish dishes. Mutton is bit ok ok.. they do have first floor for family, top 2 floors dining and carry liquor.. they do give hot hot rasam in between while dining. Fast service and would be crowded most of the evening time.

One of the best sea food restaurant near Shivanhalli, Basaveshwara Nagar Bangalore. We had grilled chicken.. Awesome taste, chciken shawarma was good and angel fish was very fresh and tasty.. Overall loved it 👍 we are regular customer to this restaurant, I totally recommend this place one should try, very reasonable price and very polite staff.

One of the oldest Mangalore restaurant in Manjunathanagar which also serves few more Indian dishes, if I’m craving for Mangalore style and if I’m in Rajajinagar surroundings this is the place I always choose. We can easily order any sea foods which will be yum , in my last visit silver fish tava fry was deep fried which was not so good , seems we have to inform them how we prefer.

Good food I should say, reasonably priced. Sat on the 2nd floor, you can get your own stock as they don't serve the same. In addition, sea food is available as well. Was not crowded as well.

I had been to this restaurant so many times.. have french chicken, south special chicken, Lemon chicken and Nilgiris chicken and chicken fried rice.. shawarma roll.. this foods are very nice here

It is a pocket friendly hotel even we can carry drinks here the waiters are very polite in nature de sar really delicious food they don't take much time to serve our order's they have maintained a very good clean floors. They will be cleaning the tables frequently before serving the next dish. Weekend spend time with friends.

Good resturant in shivanahalli for non veg lovers.. Must try shawarma and grill chicken.. Briyani is also good and different if you are bored of eating donne briyani 🤣🤣.. here you will get white briyani and taste also is very good.. One of the good thing is quality is consistent even if you eat any number of times... Chairs are very less.. better if you take delivery option here.. Veg is also available but i didn't try anytime..

Different authentic taste in the restaurant, it's medium kind of spicy food here. Family restaurant also available in the first floor. Price is normal only, here non veg restaurants so no veg supplies here. Alfun grill was awesome price is 150 RS/- half (4 PC's). I tried this dish in gulf same taste here too. Shawarma is awesome here they rolling with kaboos. So if anybody need to try just go head have the awesomatic food over here. Please check out my photos to sharing the love. VJ😍

One of the best places to try the prawn curry. In terms of cost is affordable and the time taken to get things served is super fast. I loved it.

Taste and quantity is good. Looks hygenic place to eat. Rates are also affordable with variety of items to choose from. Plastic plates to eat and no sitting arrangement are the main disadvantages.

I just ate chicken biryani , French chicken and egg fried rice from this restaurant. Biryani and French chicken was so horrible tat even my dog dint eat it. Biryani was smelling and so cold. Chicken was dry like rubber. I did a mistake by choosing from this restaurant .. I have eaten from this restaurant many times but from almost from past 4 orders I am facing this issue. I lost 600rs for this restaurant today for this cheap quality food . This is the last time I will eat anything from this restaurant .

Iam regular visitor for this hotel good quality sea food and ckn south special dry is my favorite and also Tandoor grill item very superb really i like it

It's just an okay restaurant. Nothing great about it. I tried the shawerma here, and I didn't like it. It had more mayo and onion than chicken in it and then it had a borderline foul taste to it. The worst part though was that they didn't even bother to give a plate with the Shawerma. They don't really care about their customers. It looks like they feel they are doing some charity.

Was craving for chicken. Did not satisfy the craving for chicken or spice. The south special chilli was dry kabab pieces with lots of curry leaves and green chillies. This was not great but not bad either. But the ginger chicken gravy was a disaster. The gravy was rancid and the chicken stinky. Was tasteless. I never waste gravy unless its very poor in taste. They have a good rating...I should have stuck to the items recommended by the other reviewers.

I have ordered food through Zomatto for Hyderabad Biryani but the rice was like tomato bath.... One of the worst food never seen... No were close to Hyderabad style....

Guys never go by reviews. You personally go and visit for Sea food especially for coastal food. Except biryani rest everything is top notch. Tandoori chicken is really very tasty. Neer dosa, I can bet you can't get better neer dosa any where in Bangalore. We friends regularly visit every weekend for almost 3 years. We have already satisfied our taste buds with most of the recipes on the menu. Goes by your budget. For me it is an economical option. Service is really good. Family ambiance in first floor 4/5. 2 & 3rd floor ambiance need to be Improved a lot 2.5/5.

A regular visit for our family. A must have tandoori chicken with its salad and chicken chukka with neer dhosa. The amazing coastal taste with valuable price makes us to visit and visit again without any hesitation. Another must try dish will be the chicken costal meals(very tasty). The service is very good. Love the politeness off the staff. Will visit again and again.

I like this place for its signature coastal food options I get there. Must try economy thali which is reasonable price and can fill your stomach. Thali includes fish curry, rasam, buttermilk, neer dosa, chicken sukka (must try) and rice of your choice (boiled/white).<br/>Also try chilly chicken boneless, prawns Andra pepper, grill chicken, fish fry, shawarma, and much more. All non vegetarian can visit for a good meal. Employee are friendly and always there when you need something. Weekends it's too crowded.

A nice takeaway place with variety of food options. I loved the crab fry which was really spicy n tasty 😋. Quantity is also good. Overall good experience. Hope they serve food over there only so that we can enjoy the food while it’s still hot .

A very good place for sea food and south food....not over costly...good food for affordable price....Good ambience for family.....i would suggest try Andra style chilli chicken, Chicken Ghee roast and French chicken are the best....

Am from udupi and i love kori rotti. Kori rotti is tasty.. Everyone should taste kori rotti here.. Neeru dose is also good. We went there only for kori rotti and neer dose

These guys add more of cabbage and onions in their Shawarma and use old meat, the quality and quantity of the Shawarma is really bad and they dont care abt anyfeed back, i heard about the old chicken being used in their food. Its just a ripoff i wonder why people go there when there are far better options available, they sell an avg of 100 shawarmas i wonder how people eat here! Really bad tastes very bad.. i big no for me..

If you are from coastal area (Udupi) then it's a best place for you to visit. I have given 5 star based on my wife's experience here( I am a vegiterian :P) <br/><br/>Things to try <br/>1. Any fish masala fry<br/>2. Rava fry<br/>3. Crabs are the best. Go for crab ghee roast.<br/><br/>Veg food sucks here. Make sure you don't have any veg food here.

Negative remarks would be suitable! <br/>This place must actually be closed. The food and everything is good but if you are fine with the waiters touching you at inappropriate places, you can go for it. Please I suggest women not to go. Later if you try complaining the manager also he will later blame you, not any of the waiters.

I am a regular visitor for this hotel. Good quality see food including anjal fish fry, kane fish, silver fish etc. Chiken items aspecially south special dry is my favourite.

We ordered prawn pepper dry and prawn chilly-both of which were really good and super fresh. Tandoor chicken was well done and nice as well. The Anjal fish fry was the best dish-it was hot and flavourful-definitely recommended. We ordered kulchas- one thing you should NOT do here. They have no idea what a kulcha is. The were hard and very thick which made it very hard to eat them. In fact we had to discard them because of this reason. The veg fried rice was fresh and worth a try. Chicken biriyani on the other hand, was not impressive. For the curries, we ordered chicken kadai (which had a strong tomato flavour) and palak panner (seemed to have a lot of ghee that we didn't particularly like). Paneer manchurian was good. Pricing wise, it is quite decent. All of this food for about 6 of us cost ₹1940. They delivered quite quickly and the delivery person was very friendly. However, packaging can be better- some of the oil had leaked out. Once again, I'd recommend going to this restaurant for the indigenous non vegetarian varieties and skip it if you're looking for north Indian food.

A fine place for sea food and nonveg eaters. Cost seems to be affordable. Quick service. Cleanliness nothing worth mentioning infact. Taste wise as well, not worthy. I still see many family people come here, may be because of their affordable rates and decent taste.

The seafood here is amazing especially the crab masala and prawn ghee roast.The tawa fish fry was also exceptional. If you love seafood then I highly recommend you try this place.

A very lovely place for Mangalore food. The biriyani is good too. Not a good place for vegetarians. Neer dosa, kundapur chicken and chicken sukka, best ever combination.

Speciality of this place is their NON-VEG RASAM...yep, found a small sized cockroach in the rasam served with their Thali Combo. Even more disgusting was the owner's don't care attitude. Stay away from this place unless you want to their speciality - NON-VEG RASAM (checkout the pics)
