Review Kona Kafe - Bengaluru

Good place, lots of trees around & its an open place. The covered area is very tasteful with high tile & glass ceilings. You can sit in a natural environment & hear the birds & see some greenery while you sip your favorite cuppa & bites.

What a cafe.. superb.. te environment is natural & peaceful.. te inhouse crew of staff are preety much like friends.. I would rate the food over thr as ok ok.. but guys.. if u r looking for som romantic evening or even a good hangout.. catchup this place and its perfect.. jus about te end of bangalore city but not much to bother as less traffic region and good connectivity..

Great food .. aweaome ambience .. run by a crazy crew of like - minded friendly psychos .. darts , chess , paintball , pool , music n live jamming sessions .. wat more cud u ask for .. undoubtedly one of the best places to hangout in bangalore

The place has a very good ambience . Located in a not so dense residential area. Lovely place to hang out with peeps. I found the bell pepper rice served here to be very tasty on the few occasions I've got to visit this place.

Since it has an outdoor seating, the mosquitoes are a problem! The service is good and the food is okay! The baby corn Manchurian was a little spicy and the french fries tasted good!

I have been here with group of my friends for hookah. It has mosquitoes all over. Very very limited food items were available and it's not worth buying at all. Poor quality and service was worst. Mostly couple come here to spend time.. bcz is in residential area. They have snooker table as well. Nothing great about this place l.

Massive and nice laid back place with green surrounding.. Good place to hangout with friends food is average so is their Shisha.. <br/><br/>But the place is near clean and very relaxing.. watch out for mosquito attacks :)

Worst food ever......!! Just 1 Star for ambiance.  Only one cook and he has to serve. Food quality is too bad. I had been there with lots of expectation but completely disappointed.

I have to say that I've really loved the idea of opening a hookah cafe in this area and the ambience makes you feel like you can really sit back and just relax. Haven't tried out their hookah yet but I've been here twice and have tried out their beverage and food items. Their hot chocolate definitely needs improvement but their food items are quite good. In their Arabian menu, they have chicken pieces served on skewers which is good and their chicken lollipop isn't bad either. If they can increase the variety it their menu then I think they will do much better. Also for all those who love hookah and playing pool, this is the place to come to :)

What an ambience in crowded bangalore city !!!!!. Lovely place ...very very tasty food... we ordered gobi manchurian, milk shakes, fried rice and few mock tails... A secluded place off Uttarahalli main road, Kona cafe is a nice peaceful place to hang out with your friends and kill a lot of time. The ambience is pretty decent but poorly maintained. The service takes forever. <br/><br/>We ordered a veg burger, chikki garlic past, white sauce pasta, gobi manchurian and different varieties of milkshakes. Now where do I begin? <br/>The milkshakes were too sweet, the chilli garlic pasta was too spicy and dry (I agree it should be spicy but it was too spicy and it had no sauce).<br/>The gobi manchurian, burger and the white sauce pasta were good. <br/>On the whole a pretty average experience, if I go here again I'll be going to just meet my friends and catch up with them. The food and service will definitely not tempt me to go here again.

I always wanted to go to this place.. And atlast decided to go to this place.. We reached the place by 9.30.. The gate was almost closed. However tried to get in and the complete restaurant was empty.. the ambience looked cool but they said it's closed.. Not sure if it's zomato's mistake of updating wrong timings or was it really closed. Plz update rite info so that we don't waste all our time traveling to reach d Destiny and then we realize it's closed..

I travel on the road where this place is located daily and today a group of friends and I decided to try it out!! It was was my first time here and my couple of friends had already visited and said it's okish!! My experience was worst!! (EVER),to speak about the ambience it was nothing great,park side ,poorly maintainer stuff,the menu cards were soo old and burnt apart basically very bad ambience!! <br/>The food was okish,the egg sandwich was good and the fries priced at 80_bucks just got a fries equivalent of small fries in fast food outlets !! Past Chilli Garlic did not have sauce in it,became dry in 15 mins !! Only Egg sandwich was good!!<br/>My company here was good and did not notice how long they took us to serve us,we waited for 25 mins for service where there were only 2 tables occupied,our's being one of them!!<br/>Price-3/5<br/>Food-2/5<br/>Ambience-1/5<br/>Quality-2/5<br/>Quantity-1.5/5<br/>Worth it?- Can't say !!

Peaceful ambience. Drinks are fine. Food is also fine. I expected pasta to be more saucy. It was dry.. Sandwitchs are nice and filling. Good place to relax.

If you feel you wanna take a break from all the crowded places then head to kona cafe in uttarahalli. 3.5 rating is for the ambience n the way this place is decked up.<br/>Beautiful n serene ambience.. Large space which is well lit since it's a garden cafe setting. They have mini golf, snookers, paint ball etc.<br/>The menu is extremely simple and limited. Service is pretty fast. We checked in here for a limited time window hence ordered few items like cappuccino, Oreo shake, chocolate shake and cheese french fries.<br/>Chocolate shake was ok, cappuccino was not great. Clearly Oreo shake won our taste buds.. It tasted good. Cheese french fries was a disaster.. They had just poured some unwanted nasty cheese on the usual salted fries. Omg! Please don't order cheese fries here.. It gives a pungent taste because of the low quality cheese there use. Better stick to plain french fries.<br/>I would like to visit this place again for better experience as I stay a stone's throw away from here.<br/>P.S: they do serve hookah I believe.. Not sure.

If you are feeling bored and want to spend some quality time with your buddies,then this the place where you have to be. Well infrastructured with beautiful surroundings. You can even play paintball but the circumference is comparatively small. Lots of board games will eat your time before you order anything to eat :P .

Well,I visit this place quite often and to be honest it does have a wonderful ambience! It does allow smoking and serves hookah.<br/>Talking about the food I always buy the veg sandwich which I feel is pretty good and worth the money. The vanilla milkshake is also good but a little expensive. Other than that the other food items are average. The set up is beautiful, the staff is friendly, Hookah available and still I don't see myself returning to this place. <br/><br/>Their hookah had a very weird after taste the kind you get when you have something fried @in bad quality oil.<br/><br/>The food is just ok, nothing great nothing bad. <br/><br/>Also, they charge 50 bucks extra for Cold Water Base, Seriously? <br/><br/>Must Try: Masala Fries (the only thing that i really enjoyed eating)

This is one of the shadiest place in uttarahalli. If I have to review it based on the looks or ambience to be more precise, its very good. But coming to the food it thoroughly sucks. The staff are too lousy, uninterested and hardly bother to take your order. We had ordered hot chocolate and fries, the hot chocolate was more like bournville crushed in milk (yuck right) and fries were okish. It's only good for teens and collegegoers to have some private conversations, have their coochie coo time and play pool, paintball otherwise its a major disappointment. The place has the capacity to do much better than this.

Very green and a cool place for evening chit chats. They provide a wide range of hookah flavours. And yeah hookah + evening chats + drinks. Can't get better.

We around 5 of us went there on a nice and pleasant day in the morning. Did I mention we bunked college that day? :p Yes, we couldn't have been sitting in our classes in that weather. So we go to Kona Kafe. Good looking place. Outgoing and funny staff. There was this white skinny guy who was with us during our whole paintball activity. Forgot his name, but he was amazing. Food served wasn't bad. Overall a splendid experience except for the experience with the pool table there, which was rather overpriced. (Priced per head rather than per hour) And they didn't tell us that beforehand. Well, anyways our paintball experience made up for all that.So, if you're a college student and want a new place to chill. You should definitely check this place out. :)

The place is huge with many facilities after renovation. The outdoor sitting gives a decent ambience. Kona Kafe gives privacy. The food is good. Although no alcohol, this place is perfect.

Place is really good. Most of the times we'll be here if we're not in college. Coffee tastes something different yet sweet. One can also play games like chess and paint ball here.

The ambiance is nice, away from hustle bustle, and airy and very spacious. This is a place you would like to relax spend your time at. Food is okay. I tried mocha flavored coffee, chicken roll and chicken wings. Chicken wings was great. The Flavored coffee served to me had a weird taste but was replaced later on with a proper vanilla flavor. Must say, restaurant staff was prompt and cordial. Can be a try-out once in a while.

This place is very nice and peaceful and has a resort-ish feel to it, and when we went it was raining which made even more nice feel to it like hill-station kind with its greenery and all. Food was great, delicious. Loved the garlic pasta and whatever else we ordered. Owner was really friendly. Nicely maintained. Just that it is bit inside in a suburb area hard to the notice of public, but which is peacefull. They have archery, paint ball and stuff which makes it more worthwhile and fun place to be. Do visit, its worth it by all means :)

You will not know this place exists unless you know the interior of Uttarhalli.. Amidst houses, this place looks damn good! Just the look of it will make you want to go inside. We were a group of 10 and we got a corner floor for ourselves. Serving staff is very active.. Food was good. But most of the edibles on the menu were not available.<br/>There is also a snooker table.. So its the "adda" for most guys in and around that area.. <br/>So, not recommended for families or couples who want privacy.. A gang of buddies can have fun..<br/>And also, they have paint ball which I've heard is good.. Should try that next time.

After so longing of my friend I ended up with this place. To start with it looks amazing!! Seems just perfect for a couple or even for a romantic date, but unfortunately everythign ends there!<br/><br/>It Just seems like as the seating arrangment isnt tat comfortable and looks to be filled wit bachlore guys all the time who would keep shouting either to enjoy or seek attention for the surrounding group!<br/>When it comes to food, there isnt actually much you can eat but ya thry do have few of a things like burger, pasta, roll etc which is just good enough to munch and not to lick ya finger after its over.<br/><br/>Last Say: A beatuiful place, go if u are in a gang so tat u wont have to listen to other gang and make a noise of your own, do not expect much of a yummy stuffs to hog on, yes u do have liquids to rewet your throat thou!<br/><br/>Re-vist: Probably NO!!!!:(

It swells my heart to see such a 'good looking' cafe in bangalore suburbs that we call uttarahalli. Usually all I see here are cows sitting in the middle of the road.<br/>Anyway, It was a nice afternoon in the middle of the week when I along with my colleagues decided to visit this place. The cafe is extremely pleasant to look at, sit and chat in. There are more than one option for seating, that includes outdoor, however it should only be used on cloudy days. The lighting is beautifully done, I am sure of which if i ever visit at night. They have a number of board games around. They also had a paintball arena behind it which i plan to visit someday. The order is taken only at the counter while they serve at tables. Coming to the menu, very basic American, continental and Italian that includes burgers, sandwich, pasta, lasagne rolls and a few i dont remember. There are also a variety of drinks available along with deserts.<br/>Now, the food did not take very long but the downside was we (a company of 9) were sitting out mostly in sun since there was no room indoors, and even there was no place meant for a group as big as us. The food was average, I had a non veg pasta along with bits from a lot of plates. The sauce can be more thick and creamy when talking about white sauce, and the pasta boiled a little more than necessary. About the sandwich I cannot complain much, although the ice tea was green in color since they added blue curacao which i think was quite unnecessary. The chocolate shakes were okay. The desert was some chocolate mousse cum pastry which did not taste fresh. The quantity did not fill most of us.<br/>Although the place not being very expensive I am sure people can get better food at the same rates in bangalore.<br/>Nice place to spend some time in the evening with friends but not very appetizing in terms of food or inviting when it comes to serving a huge group.

What a FRIKKING awesome place to chill out!! Good lord, seriously college students you MUST check this cafe out, it outrightly beats all of the cafes in Bangalore, You get Amazing food and the highlight is Paintball a very well set arena.
