I just had an amazing meal at Thalappakatti! I ordered the mutton biryani and the chicken 65 biryani, and both were delicious. The rice had a different flavor in each dish, which was really interesting. The flavors were mild, but still flavorful. I would definitely recommend this biryani to anyone.

Thalappakatti chicken 65 biriyani and Thalappakatti mutton biriyani was ok ,but not that great, nevertheless chicken 65 in biriyani was good.

This is a Tamil style eatery which has great Biryani made with Jeeraga Samba rice typical of Tamil cuisine along with good selection of meat items. Food is served on a banana leaf. If you are looking to explore Tamil cuisine this is a good place to start although prices are a bit on the higher side.
