A very nice store with quite a lot of options. The location is also great. There was good rush as I visited on the new year's. The plum cake was great. And the black forest was also good. Tried a veg roll and masala bun sorta thing, that wasn't great.

Great place for Pasterie and bakery stuff. Great Verity of items with reasonable prices. The staff should however learn Kannada to communicate with customers. The management should make an effort to ensure the staff learn Kannada to communicate and serve customers.

True paradise for dessert lovers and an absolute value for money. You get to taste multitudes of flavours at an affordable price. The ambience is quite good(The yellow lighting and AC temperature inspite of the crowd) My favourite is the chocolate pastry Highly recommend those in HSR to visit this place

It was a good experience. Went on weekend evening so was bit crowded.Enjoyed there allo dahi puff and also choco lava cake. They are a must try. There was not much time though the crowd was more. Service was good and ambience was fine.A must visit place for quick bite and cakes. Sweet tooths will love this place for sure.

Cakewala, one of my favorite and best place in HSR to have cakes. This is my go to place and have visited multiple times. This place is so hygienic and clean and can find multiple flavors of cakes here. They have different varieties of pastries, hot puffs, cup cakes, breads, bar cakes. The mango, pineapple soft bar/box cakes were my favorite, very soft and fluffy with rich fruit taste. The puffs were crispy and tasty with proper stuff, paneer puff, baby corn, veg. The pastries were so soft and delicious with rich cream, toppings. My favorite were Irish coffee, Blueberry. Also I have tried Mango, Chocolate, Kitkat etc. The prices were very reasonable. Overall, it's an amazing place to try and you gonna drool over them.

Cake was nice and we have taken this for orphanage and everyone there liked it also we tasted it was so nice. These guys are so professional and they took the order on same day and able to deliver what they have committed timeline. Thank you Cakewala making my sons birthday cake so special. Exotic Mango Gateau (round cake) was really a mouth watering cake you need to to must try. The Seasonal Mango Pastry (mango cubes on) has natural mango inside it which makes u feel like you are eating the mango just out of a basket. Chocolate truffle pastry is my all time favourite and will be yours too if you are a chocolate lover

This place we visited was quiet good and we had there rasmalai pastry and pineapple pastry.... along with there mini pizzas.... it was quiet good and even the place is kept spick and span..... no complaints there at all....

This was the state in which I received my order. The packaging was good but this how I received it. The funny thing is I received a box that mentioned contains candles, matches and knife but it had only a match box. Again disappointed!!! The taste wasn't that rich either. It shouldn't be called choco truffle but just a chocolate pastry. Pathetic experience.

Products are pretty decent. But delivery packaging is not good. Also, their veg puffs most of the times have onions and capsicum. Veg is not only capsicum!! <br/>Hope you are listening 'Cakewala' and take some action.

Do not order delivery from Cakewale, they will not send it in any package. They just hand over each item you ordered as is from their shop rack to the delivery. I called cc of cakewale. They blame it on zomato of charging more and not providing then the packaging cost. This was ridiculous of both party. There are few shops like this who still do business in grand father way. They do not know customer service and totally arrogant just because they sell better product then others.

Delivery was really quick and the food was delicious too . Everyone has to try it at least once

This outlet in HSR has amazing service and the stuffs their are very fresh and tastes amazing. They are very quick in their service and managing the crowd. <br/>

It is no doubt worth 5* but i have an advice, dont write “dahi” aloo puff please... it is not “dahi” it was mayonnaise disguised as “curd”. I bought this since I wanted to check how puff could stand the dahi as bread/puff as it gets soggy, loved the stuffing and was really really tasty but just change the name please. Rest love all your products. Banana walnut cake was a first time try, the fat seems too much coating to the palate. Lava cake is also good and kulcha bun too, on a heavier side, but wont regret eating it😁❤️ So, remember please.. no dahi in aloo dahi puff😊

The BlackBerry cake had fungus. Lesson learnt only buy products which are high demand or regular order. Always check that the cake is not having fungus and If you find it is there don't take risk and dont believe the shop person because the HSR cakewala shop person will never accept that they supplied an cake with fungus even if u show them.

Cakewala,s packing is very bad and they are not sending the items in a carry bag even for large orders . Worried about food safety in this COVID times .

Got some cakes over at home from the hsr outlet. Chocolate truffle, chocolate fantasy , red velvet age choco chip cupcakes. All of them were so good. My personal favorite was chocolate fantasy. It was so rich in flavor. One of the best places to satisfy your cake cravings from.

Ordered chocolate truffle cake (with egg), satisfied with the quality. There's a mild salty twist in the cake which tastes quite good.

I ordered a 500 gms chocolate truffle cake today from here. The cake was bland and tasteless. The cake wasn't fresh. The cake delivered was intact as the packing was good .

Good service, clean, well maintained, well organised , tasty cakes and nice location. I really liked it.

I don't have complaints about the items but the attitude of this store. I have ordered many times and observed they never provide the carry bag (even the paper ones). During other times I can understand but when every restaurant is taking utmost precautions by following WHO standards with proper packaging these guys wants to save money by not providing a carry bag. It's not only difficult for the delivery boys but also for customers to carry each item without a proper carry bag. Shame on this outlet that even during these difficult times they want to be stingy and loot the customers. Better close down permanently

Cakewala is an amazing place for cakes and specialized birthday or any other cakes.. you can order cakes in advance also..the one thing is that, in this shop they first let us take our cake(s) of choice and then you have to get it billed.. but others wise it's bakery products are also very good..

I ordered a cake for my son’s 1st birthday from Cakewala on Dec 14th.<br/><br/>Until 21st Dec (Couple minutes before the function) it was not prepared.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I had no idea it will ruin my son’s birthday party until it got delivered & <br/>I open the box and looked at it.<br/>All our excitement were ruined. The decoration of the cake was so dull, clumsy, broken; definitely did not look like a birthday cake. I guess whoever took my order did not pay any attention. <br/><br/>Most of our guests had a single bite and their expression was ewe. It was such an embarrassing situation for us.<br/><br/>I informed cakewala soon after I received the cake but their response was worst. They were not ready to accept their mistake neither ready to apologize. <br/>They challenged me after I complained (Mr Manju)<br/>I'm going to sue them for this.<br/><br/>I will not recommend to anyone for their party cake from Cakewala HSR. <br/>Truly pathetic showing. <br/>I don't want anyone else to have their event ruined by such careless irresponsible and dishonest bakers.

They showed the prices of plum cakes as 230 rs. But the printed MRP was 175 rs. As per zomato representative they have no control over shops quoting prices. The whole idea of discount is fake in that case.

I was passing by this place and saw that the place was fully crowded. It had good reviews on Zomato. So wanted to give it a try. you have cakes, pastries, puffs, and cookies. Me and my wife tried most of the vegetarian puff items (veg puff, mushroom puff, spinach corn roll, etc..) we tasted seven items in total, and the bill came to 160/-. All the items we tasted are of best quality. yet priced to be affordable. Infact the billing price is much lesser than the sticker price/displayed price in the counter. Not sure why. veg puff is 10/- I wish they had drinks too (juices/milkshakes, etc..).<br/><br/>The place doesn't have seating. It was clean, affordable, hygienic.  While we were having food there, they had wall mounted display which was showing some details of the group.<br/><br/>I was surprised to know that the most of the affordable food joints in bengaluru were started by one man, Mr. Goapadi Srinivasa Rao of Mayura group. Cakewala, Cool Joint, Mayura Bakeries, Taaza thindi and many more.<br/><br/>This is a masterclass in business administration, social responsibility, operational excellence.

This is one of my favorite cake shop in HSR , they have amazing fresh cakes and breads . The shop is such clean and hygienic . This is very much recommended for any bakery needs .

I had ordered white forest cake and I received a pungent smelling disorganised cake. The cake was smelling so bad and the bread was tasting like it’s made a week ago. The packaging was pathetic and the cake was disorganised from the base. The cake box looked like it’s for 3kg cake. Although cake was 1kg. One should never order cake for special moments from here. Mood will be spoiled by getting such a pathetic delivery.

This place is located adjacent to a main road in the corner. We ordered for Belgian chocolate and chocolate temptation cake which were good. This place is like the other outlets having a view of kitchen and serves good and fresh cakes, breads, etc. The staff is also courteous.

Had almost all the puffs and the eggless pista cake..really good taste. Cake was nice and fluffy. The puffs were yum. Biggest draw is the prices. Very cheap for the quality provided. There are no tables and chairs to sit and eat but a small wall to sit on opposite the cake display.

This is a famous place.. Infact a landmark in whichever area this brand has a presence. Interior is super posh, clean and hygienic along with an open kitchen. The refrigerated displays are arranged neatly and uniform of staff is pretty clean. This tells alot of brand and its philosophy. We ordered a Black Forest cake. It was delivered with a wrong message. Also the quality of cake was poor. Looked like the cake was stale or worse meddled with, with the icing smeared and some cherries missing. Very poor experience.

Great place to order desserts and cakes from. Value for money and good quality too. Will highly recommend it for people of any age group. Requesting them to add choco lava cake too on the menu.

My first experience with cakewala wasn't good- had recieved a stale cake. So I thought of giving the place another chance since it's 4.3 on Zomato. I ordered a white forest cake yesterday and it was terrible again- again stale. The bread used wasn't good either and taste it left was awful. <br/>When I told customer support; they want me to complain at the time of delivery even if it's 2 hours before you cut the cake. Never ordering cakes from Cakewala or Zomato.

At a recent birthday party that I attended, the cake was simply beautiful - it was moist and well-made, the amount of cream was just right, the fruit used in the cake was fresh, and overall it was very delicious. I had to ask the host where the cake was from, and 'Cakewala' was the answer. That's how I discovered this place.<br/><br/>Then, I went on to order a cake for the husband's birthday from Cakewala too, an Orange Gateaux which was just lovely. This has now become our family's favourite spot for tea-time munchies, too. We have been here several times over now, and just love the array of sweet and savoury treats on offer.<br/><br/>I love that Cakewala has some specials that are quite difficult to come across elsewhere - Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Basbousa for instance. Their Aloo Dahi Puff, Vegetable Puff, Masala Biscuits and Bhaji Puff have become our most-loved things from their counter.<br/><br/>Prices here are quite reasonable. The staff is courteous and friendly. There is limited seating available in the eatery. Parking is available too.<br/><br/>I'm definitely a fan of this place, which is by the same management as Taaza Thindi.

I have ordered blueberry cake from Zomato. Delivery was great and also packing much appreciable. Cake was superb. Thanks to cakewala and zomato for such an amazing experience. One suggestion please provide the candles to the customer with any quantity.

A good bakery in and around HSR Layout. I would say it's the best for Upper middle class and high class customers.<br/><br/>I have visited this place many times now. I love the consistency here.<br/><br/>I have tried their pastries, puffs, cakes, breads and cookies. My personal favourite is their crunch cheese cookies. Almost all of them are tasty. I did-not like Coconut cookies and a few other items. <br/><br/>Staff is very attentive. Ambience is good and hygienic. We ordered one Almond Alphonso Gateaux. The taste was not that great though we paid 2300+ for 3 kg cake.<br/><br/>Almonds were hardly found. And it was just like placing some mango pulp on the cake

Very bad service. Had ordered a cake for birthday with all cooking instructions. At the end got a cake which wasn't fresh i felt and no cooking instructions followed. Even Happy Birthday was not written. Pathetic. If contacted customer service they just ene up telling sorry. Worst.

First time I went here for famous cheese cakes and those were unavailable. Fortunately second time, I got to taste these amazing Rasberry and blueberry cheese cakes. The service is very polite and cleanliness is appreciable.

This place is always full and I have never managed to get a seat the 2 times that I have been. So I generally order in. I had ordered some time back their Irish Coffee Gateaux cake. I found it to be flavourful, moist and perfectly sweet. And today I ordered one portion each of Chocolate Truffle Pastry, Pineapple upside down and eggless almond alphonso. My personal fav is the pineapple upside down although the other two were equally good. Cakewala is my go-to for desserts.

So many varieties of cake, muffins, pastries, savoury snacks, and breads.<br/>That to at a very attractive price.<br/>I have seen bakeries of this kind, but this one beats them all.<br/><br/>What was more interesting is I saw the ovens being loaded behind the bakery, and so what they serve is freshly made!<br/>Not from some distant central bake house,as is the case with many such bakeries.<br/><br/>The sight inside is so delicious that you tend to cheat on your calories.

This is the place for pastry lovers. Their wide range of cake display is so appealing. Both sweet and savoury items are super yummy. Belgian chocolate cake and the cake jar are my personal favorites.

Been visiting this pastry joint for a week now. Quite a collection of pastries they have on their menu, yet I could not find anything worthy of prime appraisal. They bake nice bread and tray cakes though. If you are into pastries and don't get bored of the familiar pastry stereotypes like red velvet and dark forest, this place is real good. Plus, they have a open kitchen where you can see them handling the food while you enjoy your piece of delicious pastry.

The place offers a wide range of cake and pastries and all of them are mouthwatering specially the Red Velvet cake 🍰 They have all the flavors available 24/7 and the store offers seating which is hard to find

I personally like this place alot..but.today I had a very bad experience as I have ordered aloo dahi puff and it' was so cold that I couldn't feel like to have it....my office is hardly too far and it's almost 1-2 km away from the outlet...I didn't expect this.

Tried couple of pastries and they tasted better than few other baking chains in Bangalore. Also I recommend cookies fresh baked breads, although I am not a huge fan of bread.<br/><br/>On next visit tasted Black Forest, almond Alphonso, choco chifon, coffee. All pastries were good and tasted fresh. Paneer chili rooll was okay.

One of the best cake shops in the city. The cakes and pastries are heavenly. The other bakery items are quite good as well. A little bit expensive but the taste won't disappoint you. The store is generally crowded so make you order beforehand for an occasion.

You serve good pastries and patties but at least heat it and give. I ordered 3 pastries and 2 dahi Patty both the Patty were completely cold not even slightly heated.Couldn't even eat it.Money wasted.

This place is at very accessible location. And food is also good. However, it’s take a lot of time to place and take order.<br/><br/>Food is just okay. But birthday cakes is something recommended.<br/><br/>Thanks
