This is an iconic place in the map of Bangalore. Where do you find excellent food at the very economical price. Excellent food in the sense , value for money. It is yummy for the tounge and tummy . The place that you situated in such a place where it is accessible to the Bangalore bus stand and a very easy to reach, and this is an historic place you can say. It shares the iconic Sudarshan silks in the same compound and many tourist visit this place the food is very, very good. Basically, the South Indian Thali and the different curries which they offer with the different breads which are available at the time of your visit.

A two minute walk from the main bus stand and the Mantri Mall Metro, it is also just five minutes by auto from the back gate of the Banglore Central station. A bus from the airport will drop you right outside the hotel too! Connectivity at its best!
And let's not forget the mouth watering vegetarian food! I was introduced to Bonda Soup here, and now I'm addicted! Must try.
Rooms need lots of renovation. Linen is dirty but rooms are large!

We love their masala dose and coffee . Better than most of the known hotels for masala dose. And it's just 70 Rs. I suggest everyone to try dose here.

Samrat Hotel in Sheshadripuram exudes an old-world charm. We ordered the North Indian thali and Gobi Manchurian. The meal started with masala papad, followed by tomato soup with a bread crouton. We ended with ice cream, adding a gulab jamun from the thali for a twist. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was traditional. A satisfactory dining experience combining old charm and good food.
