Stopped for evening coffee and ordered masala poori and zero oil masala dosa. Both the items were tasty. The service was good, and the waiter was friendly and well mannered. The place was not very crowded. Liked the fact that as it is an open place restaurant, they were taking measures like fogging to keep mosquito away. They have many aquarium with all kind of fish. It looks very beautiful. Though it is a very old restaurant , they are still maintaining it well. I will recommend it to my friends. Thanks.

Great place, you’ll fall in love with the greenery around. Beautiful ambiance, gives a very good fresh vibe. It was a rainy early Sunday morning and the garden look gave it a complete fresh feel. There are only a handful of restaurants in this area, and this is a perfect place to go to for the folks around. I tried only Idli Vada, Kesari bhaath and Coffee. Will try the others on my next visit. But the food was tasty, Vada was very nice and crispy (I fall in love with crispy hot vadas), the rava used for idlis are relatively thicker, but idlis are soft. Kesari Baath was tasty as well, I think the flavour was pineapple, perfect in sweetness, not too sweet, not less. Finally coffee was a perfect ending. Service is great, team here are humble and are quick to respond and deliver.

Silent family atmosphere with tasty food and a wide range in Menu, suitable for families and all. Can find private cabins, table, all around on a large area with very large parking area. Best part the neighbour is not highly populated. Has kaanti sweets nearby, and ice cream, snacks, paan shop, some handicrafts markets etc... Can frequent once a month for nearby areas with family for 1-4 hours hangout.

We took the dipped idly. The taste was good. Quantity is also enough. A little bit of a rush in the morning around 10. There is a dining hall, separate tables on the outside and small small huts also there. Suppliers are kind and helpful. They serve with proper dress code for the hotel. One taking orders and the other will supply.

This is one of the most delicious Indian meals we have ever eaten. The menu is extensive and varied and caters for all tastes of Indian cuisine. We had Gobi Manchurian to start and this was absolutely delicious. For mains we had North Indian Meals, both wonderful and filling. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I listened in to other diner's commenting on their meal and all was positive. We will certainly go back here.

This is a supper place for relaxed weekend breakfast or a quick breakfast on way to office. The place has a huge garden area sitting and good space for parking. My favorite picks are vada and poor. Also try the neer dosa. Dosas not highly recommend since i personally like crispier thin dosas. Service is almost fast Food quality is good. Not rating anything on presentation. Have visited many times for the crispy hot vada.

Went here for lunch yesterday only to experience very bad service. The waiter was extremely rude and asked us to check the item we asked for in the menu, when it was not handed to us in the first place. Later he started talking to us in singular. Absolutely shocked & disgusted at this behaviour. We are regulars to this place and will never go back again. Worst service. Avoid this place. I wish it shuts down ASAP.

Saturday Sunday are really busy here specially dinner time .. waiting time can go to more than half an hour sometimes.... The bad thing is after the wait the food is not worth it... Paneer do pyaza was really really tastless.. Big dirty chunks of capsicum and onions....daal fry was ok and even for 55 rs they r not giving u butter naan... Terrible experience! Will not recommend to anyone.

Very indifferent service....there was no difference between the masala roast and masala dosa...on informing the supervisor (red shirt, mustache) i was told that this is how it is in their restaurant.... In this day and age of unlimited options and free access to information its employees like this that get businesses shut down in no time..... The spoons were dirty too and they couldn't care less.... We decided to go here for lunch on account of lack of options that are available around this area to eat out. Ambience: (3.5/5) The space is large both inside and in the garden area. I recommend sitting in the garden side which is a far better experience than the typical hotel feel you get when sitting side. Food: (2.5/5) Unfortunately the food was not up to the mark in many instances. The one that troubled me the most was that none of the flavours of any of the side dishes of the thali were accurate. Felt that salt was missing on most of them. The poha was good during the lunch. Summary: (3/5) Has the potential to be a great food place with excellent growth if there is a change in the cooking that complements the beautiful garden area outside. However, given the lack of options in the area, this may be your best bet.

A decent place in HMT, Jalahalli east....wanted to have a South indian breakfast so went with my brother in law. The location is good with a garden seating at the backyard which would be a perfect setting for a nice weather with friends & family. Coming to food, I ordered for a rava masala dosa & my bro-in-law ordered for a set dosa. The rava dosa was decent but I have eaten better dosas in Mumbai. My bro-in-law also said the curry used to be much better earlier but I think overall it is ok. The prices are reasonable , service is ok.

We ordered onion rava masala dosa and got onion rava. No one was there to entertain the complain and the head waiter told us to have without masala. They were not listening to the order properly and getting anything they liked. Price is high and food is below average. Also we had taken a chilly baby corn parcel but when I opened the parcel at home to my surprise I found peas pulao in it...pathetic....

To be honest.. I haven't really tried anything except masala dosa and idli Sambar (dip to be precise) and I liked both the dishes here... The ambience is nice... It has both indoor and outdoor servicing... I've been going to this place all my life.. Initially it was Kamat hotel... The main attraction according to me is the fountain inside 😅😅 I guess the little kid in me still gets excited for the colorful water fountain 😅😅

Just walked in for evening snacks and found nice ambience in backyard. Ordered rava masala dosa and tea and quality was good. Unlike other reviews staff looked active and helpful. Apparently they are improving....but it was 6 in the evening...so not sure how it is during rush hours. PS: Hotel management need do something for mosquitos...they drank back half of the tea from my blood😂

Had bee here yesterday for dinner. Ordered manchow soup which was served very quick but the taste was ok kind of and for the starter it was baby corn manchurian it tasted good. For the main course we had kulcha and kadai vegetable that was good but it had chopped green chillies in it so some one orders it pls look for it and vegetable biryani was ok ok. Over al service is fast but for the taste I would rate 2.5/5

Stopped here for dinner after a 500kms drive back to Bangalore. We were so exhausted and done for the day, all we wanted for a good hearty meal and quick service and we got the same here. Ordered starters, rotis, 1 curry and 1 rice to finish the meal. Above average taste nothing exceptional but the service was quick and fine. I have been visiting Kadamba since it opened in Jalahalli since there ain't much options to dine out around this area. The place is vast with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. Food was actually nice when the restaurant started but my last visit was not that great. We visited the palace at around noon last week, I had ordered for south Indian Thali which was not good. They did not have vada at that time. Dosa was oridinary. Had to wait for long for the food and the stewards were so busy that it was difficult to catch hold of them. The washrooms were not maintained. Overall, the place is overly priced for it's quality of food and facilities.

I have been a regular customer for once as we don't have any other option nearby for a south or north Indian cuisine. Once when we swiped the debit card for payment they swiped it twice saying it wasn't done . But later I received the message twice for the deductible amount . Though I conveyed them the same message they didn't even bother to act on it . I understand sometimes due to network issue it happens but it doesn't mean that you can get paid twice for the same amount n not even bother to refund . After this I visited the hotel but the food and service turned bad . The dosa what I ordered was burnt and I had to wait for 20min after giving the order . When I went after 20min they didn't even recollect the order and then gave after 10min . After complaining about the burnt dosa they said they will get something else to replace but I was deeply disturbed for how can this be so bad when we are paying for their services.

Everytime I have been here, there's been wait to get a table. So either people must really like the place or it is located at a very convenient location. I prefer the outdoor seating. Quick service and attentive staff. Food is inconsistent but never disappointing. At times, the dishes have been truly impressive and others, not so much. Would definitely recommend this if you are not looking for anything fancy. It's a pocket friendly place.

To make this review short and simple, food is below average tasting and a little expensive. I had come here with my family. We had ordered a Masala Dosa, Set Dosa, Stuffed Paratha and Rava Dosa. The Parathas were cold and bland. Everything Dosa tasted bad, except for Set Dosa which tasted better than the rest. Service was good though. Overall, I had a really bad experience.

This place used to be Kamat Nandanvan before. Wonder why that management failed to work in this place. The place is vast, has outdoor seating, huts and all that you want for a fine dine experience with your family. Have dined in and also got taken away food from here. Kadamba specializes in South Indian cuisines and fairly lives upto your expectation. There is enormous scope for improvement. Liked their sweet pongal. Sambar wasn't the typical one you have at darshinis in Bengaluru. VFM 5 on 5. Service 2 on 5. Ambience 3 on 5. Taste 3 on 5. Wish this place was Kamat again!

We had used their party Hall for my nephew's engagement. Beware of the entire Team they will mercilessly charge & give false accounts. While booking the hall owner is available to talk but when there is confusion in bill only manager talks. He is well trained to ensure customer don't get agitated or make noise. But you will.never get justice. We had invited 250 guests plus other working staff etc maybe another 15 to 25. They charged us 400 pax.

Service is really bad. We waited for an hour for the food to be delivered and no supervisor is available. Not a customer friendly restaurant. We changed our table as no one was attending us and the new server didn’t even no we had come. We did not receive our order and left the place hungry Not recommended !!! Will never visit again !!!

Loved the food, loved the rustic ambiance and outdoor seating but the problem is the quality of all, the place is really good to be a fantastic cozy restaurant but its supported with aluminum tables and plastic chairs. But that all is taken care by the food which is quite good, atleast the breakfast. Masala Dosa was really good, Vada was crazily crispy and fresh, even though we were quite late for breakfast, 10:30 am on Sunday, the food was still very good. The only let down was Chutney which was watery, I am sure due to adding water to the diminishing quantity. I would recommend this place for a cozy typical south Indian breakfast. My report card Price – 6/10 Taste – 8/10 Quantity - 8/10 Service – 6/10 Ambience – 7/10 Clenliness - 6/10 Value for money – 7/10 Will I go back – Absolutely

I am never going to recommend this place to anyone. Initially this place was run by Kamat ,which was better . So thought will try this place as well. Pretty disappointed as the quality of the food here is really bad.I think people would come here just for the ambience. But also the outdoors are not quiet good for evenings, as there's a park nearby and lot of flies fall in the food. So a no- no to this place.

A unit of the Kadamba hotel in rajajinagar, this newly opened outlet serves south Indian food almost as good as the one in rajajinagar. They were still setting up shop the last time I visited, it's already turned into a local hotspot. Recommendation any and all dose here.
