Review Sunny Cafe - Bengaluru

A cafe where you can easily spend 3-4 hours. Loved the ambience and food. Burgers are must try. Waffles weren't that great though (order some ice cream as it is not a part of waffle serving). Staff is quite attentive.

The place is at a very prime location in HSR. Small well lit cafe. We ordered the Indian Kebab Platter and Tandoori Prawns. Tandoori Prawns was quite good. Soft and perfectly roasted, went quite well with the coriander chutney! The Kebab platter was quite good which had mutton seekh,chicken Tikka and Amritsari Fish Apart from the fish both the other ones were quite good. Would come again to try out their breakfast options.

Food is very yummy and the price is reasonable only. Wines were also good. They accepted Zomato gold. Also they are giving an extra 10% percentage off for reviewing on Zomato and Instagram. That's a good deal for the foodies. Staff behavior is also good. But after ordering, you have to wait for sometime to get the food.

A perfect hangout place, I would say... Been here with friends in a Saturday evening.. We were in the aim to chitchat over coffee, but not spending too much... This was the best place for our purpose, trust me... Without any plan we just barged into this place and returned with no regrets.. everything we ordered was totally worth it.. A pocket friendly place situated on the 19th main road at HSR layout... Very easy to locate.. it's almost an open area, they have closed AC place too.. but we preferred to witness the traffic too along with coffee.. 😉 The staff was too courteous.. They didn't take much time to serve our order.. The presentation of every item was unique and different. The taste was awesome.. 👍👍 There's no hurry to leave early, you can even spend few hours over a tea or coffee.. 😍 They have proper parking also.. In all way, it's a must visit place if you are looking for a casual hangout pocket friendly placez not looking for a very cozy ambience.. 🙂🙂

Popped in here for a quick cup of tea. Probably not the right place for a cup of coffee/tea though, despite the tea being good. The chilli cheese toast we orderedwas excellent though. Will be back here for their extensive breakfaat spread and update this review.

We ordered chicken pizza and cold coffee. Pizza was heavily overloaded with cheese and chicken. Pizza was really good in taste and crust was also crispy. Cold coffee could have been little better . Overall nice experience. It's a chill place considering it's surroundings and nice place for going on a date or hanging out with friends.

It looks nice, has both indoor and outdoor seating and allows pets, which was a pleasant surprise. The coffee is decent, food can be better.

Sultan's service and recommendation made it a best first experience with amazing food and great wine.

Ordered a masala omelette and the quantity took me by surprise , it came with a side of fries and salad and 2 slices of bread. This is a perfect brunch.

The quantity of the food was really filling. The chicken sauce was well prepared. The chicken was a little undercooked and the noodles were a little dry. Except these faults, the quality of the food was really nice.

Had a good time here at lunch and had pasta which was cooked well, along with a good glass of wine. Wine rates are very cheap here! Good place to hang out.

Food is good, we enjoyed their watermelon feta salad, cheese garlic bread and cold coffee. Their lemon tea was a tad too strong.

I wish I could give negative rating. Very bad experience with quality of food. Had ordered butter garlic chicken wings. The chicken was very old with bad smell and rubbery taste. The spinach and corn nugget tasted very bland and was very dry. Never visit this restaurant unless you want to waste your money!

Small cozy cafe in 19th Main HSR layout infront Loft HSR. We went there to try some sizzler. So we tried piri piri veg sizzler and hara bhara kabab. They serve a glass of wine complementary with the sizzler. Sula wine was good but the sizzler is not upto the mark. Hara bhara kabab supposed to be a tandoori item but this one ine deep fried one so does not taste good. Overall we had just ok experience.

Extremely bad Sunny Veg Breakfast. Every single item in the platter was worth 10₹, and inedible. The staff had no idea about the items on the menu and had to be reminded to get all the dishes in the platter multiple times. Moreover they kept checking the menu to see what all are on the platter, everytime we pointed out that certain dishes had not been given to us. Extremely disappointed. Ruined our weekend

Since I had heard about this place from my friends. I visited it for a Sunday brunch. The was ambience was ok, nothing which would stand out. The staff was friendly & courteous.<br/>We ordered “Shashlik Sizzler (Veg)”, which wasn’t up-to the mark, it lacked flavor as per my liking. Then we tried “Grilled Mushroom & Broccoli in cheese sauce”, it was good n we liked it. We also had “Grilled chicken in red wine sauce”, which was the best dish out of the three we ordered & I would recommend it. <br/>Overall it was an ok experience for a day, nothing which would make me come back for more. Food is good.

We were a bit apprehensive when we saw 3.9 rating. But our experience was awesome. We ordered chicken steak and lemon butter garlic prawns. While chicken steak was great, the prawns were but spicy for my hubby. The lady serving us immediately changed it and brought back same dish which was non spicy but awesome in taste. Ambience shows class and style. place is easily accessible and best part is soothing light music so that you can enjoy your dinner in peace. And the staff extremely courteous. The guy came out all the way and helped my hubby to park. Highly recommend if you like your food choices to be eclectic

Avoid this restaurant like plague :)<br/>Ordered 2 grilled fish with spinach, 1 grilled chicken in red wine sauce, 1 chicken fried rice.<br/>The fried rice had 0 salt, and the rice was not boiled at all. It will literally break your teeth if you try to chew it. The server claimed the fried rice was made with red rice, hence it is like that :)<br/>Next came ONE grilled fish (we ordered 2) and the chicken, after 1 HOUR of ordering. Not sure where the other fish item went. (They were asking me in about 30 mins in, what we ordered).<br/>The moment we tried the mashed potato, we found it has become stale/ spoilt and completely sour.<br/>When we complained, the manager was unfazed and simply said, "we will replace it. We will make it fresh for you". We asked, when did you make the mashed potato, in the morning? He replied "a little after that". We asked for the chef. He said, chef is busy.<br/><br/>So you can imagine, their attitude is probably they are giving you food for free and we should be grateful to them, as if there is no other restaurant in Bangalore.

I was at HSR and was a little hungry and this was the closest cafe so went there. Cafe is nice, they offer gold benefits on mocktails as well and that too one on one free instead of 2 on 2. Ordered smoothies out of which mango was very sweet, non veg platter was awesome.

Well, this place looks very beautiful and peaceful outside. And also beats your expectations too by food, staff, and ambiance. This is one among the best place to come and hang out or have a talk for a long period of time.

A very unique coffee shop in HSR, they have wine and wide food options. There are a number of starters but their chicken sixty five is a must try. You should also try their Piri Piri steak.

The place seems fancy from the outside but the service inside is not upto the mark. We ordered a farm pizza, garlic bread, raspberry blueberry mocktail, kiwi lime mocktail and a hot chocolate. It being a thursday and not at all crowded we expected the food delivery a little sooner but seems like the people prioritised the zomato, swiggy delivery over the in house guests. Though their list contained numerous names of wines, they only stocked the executive ones.<br/><br/>The pizza was loaded with cheese but it had zucchini, mint and other leafy vegetables which didn't go well as a combination. It took them long to bring in the garlic. Seems like they were kneading the dough from the start.<br/><br/>The poor delivery in service made us not order more. Also the people didn't seem much glad to attend to the guests and we left off as soon as we could. Another major disappointment was they didn't serve normal water and insisted that they only served bottled water with Sunny labelled on the side.<br/><br/>Hope they improve on the service.

Nothing special in this place. Very slow and dull service, with below average quality food. Too expensive for the quality and quantity. The cleanliness is not that great for this place as well. We tried Andhra meal thali for weekday lunch.

Okish! experience, nothing really special about the place. Their menu doesn't have much choice for small snack kinda experience. Some of it doesn't compliment the drink as well.

Overall, this was an okayish experience for me. Food was ok, service was just about okay as well. A bit lacklustre was the Zomato Gold experience which i hope gets better the next time I visit the place.

Absolutely disappointed with the place.. that is to say the least.. the ambiance was sure catchy and nice but I wish I could say the same about the food. I ordered a burger and it can dripping. I had to pluck away the party from it. Couldn't eat the bun cos it was wet and stuck to the dish. The lettuce looked so old and nasty green. The lassi had sour curd in it. Wouldn't be going back there!

This is a place with looks of a cafe and offers wine with continental food. Ambiance of this place is good. In fact, the service was also good.I had ordered sparkling wine,. Triple chicken 🍕 pizza and mixed grill sizzler.<br/>First they said they don't have lamb and so they wanted to replace lamb with fish. We were ok with that. Then they serve the sizzler with a lot of chicken pieces and guess what... all that Chicken was stale..!!<br/>The rice and the sauce were good though..<br/>The pizza was good had a lot of different toppings and was full of cheese..and the sparkling Champaign was good too.<br/>I don't think I am going to visit again..

The food was fine. But the service was very slow. They should at least keep in mind that when we order drinks, we expect them to arrive before food or at least along with it. But my drink arrived after I finished my main course. That too, after reminding them multiple times. And any shake, that had brownie in it was horrible. They just prepare the shake and put the brownie in. Didn't bother to blend them together.

This place is overpriced. Food, service and taste are just average. Cafe style ambiance. Went for weekday lunch, had Andhra meal..which was nothing close to it. Despite limited crowd, service was dreadingly slow. Not up to the mark for its pricing.

Good all round experience. The cafe has a pleasant vibe as it is shaded under a tree fro the outside that provides natural ventilation, excellent customer service, and I'm assuming is a pet friendly cafe as well.

But that they were bit confused I felt.<br/><br/>On our table sealed water bottle was there and we asked for empty glass. But they brought water jug also with empty glass. Anyway it's ok...sometimes it happen.<br/><br/>Later we ordered mocktails and food after asking them that what all is good here.<br/><br/>Food :-<br/><br/>* Pasta Alfredo (Penne) - Quantity wise it was good. And even pasta was prepared properly. But taste was missing as they haven't added oregano on top of that. Used to be my go to place for coffee and sandwich. I think the chef has changed. The portions have become smaller and lack taste. The new staff is not very welcoming either

I would only suggest this place for the ambience and the courteous staff with the decent service. We were given the first bottle free of cost. Though the food was pathetic, I ordered chilli paneer sizzler and my friend ordered non veg platter. Non veg platter was really yummy but not worth 380 rs. It was a single portion meal ideal for a single person. My chilli paneer sizzler was pathetic, I just asked for tomato ketchup and Salt to finish it off because I hate wasting food.

I reached around 10:55pm but still the staff welcomed me with happy smiles. Plus the music was on the whole time and they did not make us feel that it is late at any point of the time. Very nice people and good food. Will be a regular visitor!<br/>

Well this was a Lazy Lazy Saturday night , me and 2 friends were feeling extremely jobless and decided to walk around HSR until we find somebplace to go and eat.<br/>We found Sunny Cafe and Kitchen.<br/>The ambiance is something I would imagine I would want if I ever opened a place , it's so nice.<br/>Wood and green that's all that there is<br/>The staff is very very sweet and helpful.<br/>They loose a whole point cause they didn't have a few items on their menu.<br/>Like coconut water and the veg Biryani.<br/>We ended up having the buttermilk and Lime Water.<br/>I had the butter chicken Pasta with Penne which was good but very spicey<br/>Friends had the chicken stuffed with spinach and the other dish was fried rice and daal. ( Don't ask , it's a weird combination )<br/>Food was good on the whole , very very spicey though.<br/>Oh oh they also have a small mad cat running around the place , call him and pet him !<br/>Cheer !

Cute place, good ambience, nice food & polite staff. Ordered vegetarian spaghetti aglio olio, was really good. Andhra meal with omelette was reminiscent of home cooked food. Overall nice experience

Pleasantly surprised the simplicity of this place, and the bang for your buck with the huge array of options. To topn it all off the service is sweet and the food is really good! Definitely coming back for more sangria, waffles and sizzlers. We also hear they've added some andhra options and have a crazy brunch deal!

It's a really really amazing place which serves amazing food. We ordered the grilled chicken wrap which was tasty, Chilli chicken fry, Alfredo pasta was a little bland for our taste, sunset brew could have had more of brownie and ice cream, hazelnut frappe was really yum, sizzling brownie and chocolate pancakes were pretty great too. The taste and presentation was really nice. They can provide the service a little faster. But all in all a great place for a quite evening. :)

Serves really good pasta! Recently started serving wine as well, but that's all on the alcohol menu. The food is quite good, the staff behavior is also good. The restaurant is easy to locate and has decent ambiance. It's a little on the expensive side when it comes to the food price, but the food mostly covers up for it.

I feel the food here could be improved !! We ordered dal tadka and geera rice where the dal was tastless , a continental platter which as average i would say and the pizza was soggy it wasn't properly baked and there was no pizza sauce !! It tasted like a half baked pizza base with cheese and lots of olive oil !! Barbecu chicken wings are awesome... Ambiance is nice , the staff here is friendly and they also have many offers going on and they serve wine too !! Its just the small n tiny improvements which this cafe needs in regarding the food i would love to visit again n hoping for a better experience.

Well I have been here so many times now, that I am absolutely in love with this place. Perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner however you feel like. Good food in reasonable prices. Nice ambience and the place is so comfortable to be at! Must try - All Day Breakfast :)

Ordered for some Alfredo Pasta today from Sunny's. It was delicious and the pasta was cooked perfectly and creamy. The additional add on of mushrooms made it way better!<br/>P.S. Sorry I forgot to click pictures today. That's what hunger does to me at times.
