Review Spice Code - Bengaluru

Swapnil
Went on a Sunday afternoon since other options we were looking for were too crowded or had a long waiting. The place was okay, probably seen better days in terms of finishing and maintenance, especially of the washroom and hand wash stations. Food on the other hand was quite good. All the items we ordered were very tasty and dish size was good. We mainly focused on coastal cuisine and were not disappointed. Ordered chicken fried rice since dinner biryani was not available. The Fried rice was good but was slightly on the dry side. The service was quick and the staff was professional. The prices were not on the expensive side and overall it was a good value for money.

Delicious mangalore buns and noodles! Loved the service and ambience too. They have very friendly staff. We went at 5pm which was an odd time and it was almost empty. If you like coastal cuisine, this is a must try! Definitely go here if you’re around JPnagar

Located in a prime location. Easily reachable. We had ordered English Breakfast and English Pulled Chicken Breakfast. We really loved the taste and quality of the food served. No questions asked on that part. The ambience is also soothing to eyes and not noisy. Cost is nominal atleast for what we ordered. The staff were really courteous. A must visit place atleast once.

This is a new place at a very strategic location like mini forest JP Nagar. Interiors are very good, prices are nominal....and this remains this way. Food is not bad but I personally need to try out more options. Staff is helpful... especially Mr Deva...who understands his customers better. Toilets may need attention.

Very cozy & relaxed for a weekend breakfast and service is awesome. One of the best Idli Vada bfast we have eaten in a long time. Other dishes are ordinary. Upma is very sweetish and Masala Dosa is a disappointment. Do not also go for buffet. 4 * just for the splendid idli vada.
Solomon Ranjith
We stumbled here for a breakfast buffet, for a surprising low price Rs. 199 we good delicious choicest breakfast. Looks like a page 3 fancy restaurant with its ambience but they don't charge much.
Abhishek
Good ambience coupled with good food. Panner do pyaza and butter chicken was delicious. Service is also good. You can take family or friends, it's worth.
GUNA RANJAN

Family restaurant to have good lunch and dinner. Veg and Non-veg menu items are good.
Parama Lala
Very good restaurant. The hospitality was so good. Food is awesome......both veg. and non-veg. We love the soup 🍲. The test was really so good. Very neat and clean place. Last but not least Icecream 🍦🍨 was awesome. Will go again. Staffs are very professional. One advice is that please make the washroom spacious and more organized.

Not at all budget friendly if you want to eat alone. But for a crew ,sharing food will be affordable. Quality of food is good not great. It's an old hotel so renovating it will be a good idea to keep on the sales going.
Hangouts Bangalore
Best place to chill out with your friends abd have an awesome time in the weekend. Will visit again. Love the place

I went to this place with my team for a lunch. The overall experience wasn't nice.<br/>Price is the only good thing here. It's cheap as compared to other buffet options.<br/>You will not get many options in both veg and non veg. Food taste is okay, but I found out a hair in the sweet dish. I certainly don't recommend this place to anyone.
Shreyas R
Overall a very good place in terms of food service and ambience only concern it feels too crowded due to allocation of seats something that can be improved! Food is really good 👍 no doubt and even the restaurant service good for family eat out!

We went for Friday lunch and the food served was very bad. The mutton masala had no taste and was very watery. We ordered veg kebab which was ok. Overall the restaurant has lost its quality and service
Sohini Bhattacharjee
i visited the place today and we had ordered for a chicken starter and one chicken maincourse and 2 butter naan along with pepsi and sweet lime soda. Though the food tasted good but in the starter there was a hair. When i showed it to one of the staff he took my entire plate and gave me fresh one. He didnt even serve me the peices that were left in my plate neither he asked my opinion what to do with it. Upon telling him the same he told me i have kept it aside and i will give you the same. How can somebody say like tjis and fo like this. Am i suppose to have the food which your staff dumped and paying the whole price for the same. On placing the order itself we told if we require we will order for one more naan. The staff informed us that though its closing time we will arrange one for you if required. But when we ordered for one more they told the kitchen got closed. I am unable to understand is your staff untrained or they dont understand anything. It was only due to your food that we came back again but your service was horrible. Not acceptable at all.

A tangy look and feel is there but as the name suggests the restaurant is having spicy food options but are having almost similar tastes. I do not prefer here. Only the Ambience is good but not the food or price will fit your pocket. Of course my butt's are still burning and most importantly they don't have a proper chef or a juice maker who knows the original taste. It's just a time pass place for anyone but not in spending money due to the heavy priced menu. Not preferring a second visit though.<br/><br/>
Chanchal Prajapat
The menu you uploaded here on Zomato and the bill I was charged has lot of discrepancy. One of item is chicken ghee roast which is in your menu shows 250 rupees but I was charged 350. Do you have any justification on it?
Megha Singhal
My all time favourite, love going to this place anytime. Friendly staff, nice ambience, great food. Went there for Sunday dinner with some friends, ordered Manchow Soup, Tomato Soup, Lahsooni Kumbh, Lahori paneer tikka, chilli milli sabji, dal rice, Palak khichadi. Everything was nice not that spicy as we had kids with us and even they enjoyed being there. 👍🏻👍🏻<br/>
Adi
Pleasant location to dine. Food is tasty along with good ambience. Reasonable prices for the dishes. However there is a slight delay by the time the items reach your plate. Good place for team lunch parties.
Adil Shaikh
No doubt this place is super reasonable as compared to other buffet places. Had tried the buffet breakfast and it was well served. The food was great, very filling and alot of variety. Loved the chicken sausages. At this price its the best buffet place to go and would highly recommend it to others. Just go for it.

Food is ok. Cleanliness is not maintained as plates can be dirty and mosquitoes flying can be seen.<br/>Desserts are limited to cut fruits and “melted” vanilla and strawberry ice cream.<br/><br/>Didn’t like it! Don’t visit if you are frequent visitor of restaurants like Absolute Barbecue.

#SpiceCode was an elegant restaurant we have been for Team Lunch. The trip was fun, so was the food. Yes it was costly but delicious. The biggest plus point was their decoration. My god the food was presented with such pretty makeup 😝😝😝. The #Biryani was like a flower beauque, with smoking charcoal all around. Wow wow wow...I had to cut one star for cost only, otherwise it was a very nice experience being to that restaurant.
Aishwarya Nair
If looking for good food with a mild ambience, this place is a must visit. Definitely try their Mushroom Kebabs. Quantity of the food is really good as well. PS - they have really good ice cream shakes.

It's located in JP nagar 3rd phase near mini forest...<br/>It's a cozy place to hangout...<br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>Fine dining restaurant..nice decorates..<br/>Food 3/5<br/>Ordered tandoori chicken and chicken spaghetti...<br/>Tandoor is not cook well enough but its okayish...<br/>Spaghetti little oily ...<br/>Drinks 4/5<br/>Average<br/>Service 5/5<br/>Thumps up..<br/><br/>Please visit once to experience.<br/><br/>

I have tried the chicken ghee roast and chicken biryani. Biryani was average and ghee roast chicken was hard and chewy. Overall an average place considering the food. Ambience is good and staff is pleasant.
Supratim Biswas
The restaurant is having a great interior decor & ambience, however the waiter or the person assisting the guests often misunderstand the food type that is being ordered. For instance, as I ordered Biryani of a certain variant & asked not to give the green one, they gave the green one itself. But, the fries & Burgers are awesome!!
Sri Swathi Venkata
A very good place. Loved the food. Hot and sour soup is soo spicy, Yummieee Schezwan fried rice. Awesomeee Gud Bud. First time visiting the restaurant but a awesome experience. Loved the food..!!
Krishna Bojanna
My mutton biriyani came with chicken bones n pieces in it :-( Actually they got me chicken biriyani rice by adding mutton pieces from some other gravy. Looks like they wanted to make money on the leftover food.<br/><br/>I was even more surprised to hear their justification. ”Mutton biriyani will be cooked with some chicken pieces for better flavor hence my biriyani was having chicken bones n pieces” .... I laughed at them and settled my bill before walking out.<br/><br/>Apart from Biriyani, other food items what we ordered was good n tasty.

Had been here for sea food... I liked it. Not much crowd (surprisingly). Tawa fried pomfret is a must try. Courteous staff. Fine ambiance. Great location. <br/><br/>Highly recommend for sea-food lovers.
Amrit Asrani
This place serves good (not great) food but priced heavily. The ambience is great, the staff is friendly and they have ample of space. Talking about the price in detail - ordered 2 soups, 1 starter, 2 rolls and 1 fried rice. All this costed - Rs 1100. It felt like - food truck equivalent food served in a fine dining restaurant. The menu is not balanced - where some items are reasonable, same time, some items are way too expensive. For example - a chicken fried rice would cost Rs 200 and a chicken starter would cost Rs 300. In general, I found the pricing to be off compared to the food. This place is some what like a mixture of a Darshini and a fine dining.
Utkarsh Dwivedi
Nice ambiance. Liked their service. Food was nice. Nothing short on variety of dishes. Starters and main course both were enjoyable.<br/>Overall good experience.
Bhupendra Singh
This place is over priced and food quality and quantity is not so great.. avoid wasting your money and the deliver time is too long. Food is over priced
Sathya Krishna
I would give this place a 3.75.I had visited this place and had a buffet and it was really good. The food tastes good, very friendly staff, quick service of breads and beverages and an ambient place, what else do you need for a perfect family lunch. The starters were very good especially the fish and squid even in the main course fish was the major highlight and even the appam dosa they give is also very good. The deserts are basic which has 4 flavours of ice cream.Overall a good experience on visiting this place.

Highly recommended place for seafood ! Mangalorean food, for sure will meet your expectations( prawn ghee roast specially) ! Good ambience ! Received a great hospitality from Mr Dinesh.Highly recommend this place... would love to visit again 😍

First of all the concept inside this restaurant is awesome with some cool interiors.. The ambience is great.. I loved all the non veg and veg dishes ordered and they were super spicy.. Needs some improvement on speeding up orders..

While I regularly order from Check Post, I decided to check out the place and it's ambience.<br/>Visited this place on a weekday evening. It was almost empty at around 8 pm when we got here.<br/><br/>Check Post and Spice Code have a common kitchen. So what you get at home from check Post is the same what you get while dining at Spice Code. While the price is a little higher there's no difference in the taste.<br/><br/>We ordered Salt & Pepper corn, Ghee Roast Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala and varieties of Indian bread.<br/>While I have also tasted their Dal Fry, Paneer Pakora and Chicken Tilkka as well.<br/><br/>Ghee Roast Chicken is my favourite here. It's the best thing you can have here if you are a non vegetarian.<br/>The Paneer Tikka masala was spicy and tasted equally good.<br/>The salt and pepper corn could have been better.<br/>Chicken Tikka should is a must try.<br/><br/>A lot of options to choose from the menu. I have mostly tried the Indian section and I can say that Spice Code offers good food at reasonable price though I would prefer to order the food at home.<br/><br/>Overall Rating- 3.5/5<br/><br/>Happy eating!<br/><br/>

This Mangalore based restaurant is an ultimate experience for any seafood enthusiast.<br/>This place serves a whole new range of seafood, mutton as well as lamb and crab preparations.<br/>The food is great and tastes good.<br/>There is a seafood festival going on, I would highly recommend any seafood lover to go and have an experience. The service I felt was a bit slow.<br/>The ambience is good.<br/>

We went a group of people for Lunch .We Loved their food specially starter were awesome from mangalorian seafoods item . Ambience was nice and decorated .Service was very fast and polite staff.

This is the most favourite place in jp nagar. I regularly coming here Specially for Seafoods. They have lots of variety of Seafoods in the menu like crab prawns squid lady fish clams silver fish bhangara fish Crocker Seer fish poofter sole fish . All the starter are Awesome. Their service staff are also very polite and attentive.
Sudem Mahilary
Food is awesome..the place remains too crowded <br/>Service is too slow...confused staffs<br/>so if u have to eat dinner u need to b thr during lunch time

Nice place for a good wholesome meal. I appreciate they accept special requests BUT I asked for no ghee, no butter, no milk in my veg curry to make it vegan, but unfortunately they don’t understand vegan fully and added paneer. If they can learn how to properly cater to dietary restrictions this would be a big perk! The place is clean and generous portions.

We went for Lunch at Friday for Buffer. Food was very good specially starter. It's Located Jp nagar opposite Sony center. Service staff were very friendly.

This is my most favorite place in jp Nagar. Food is Awesome specially Mangalore Seafood lots of variety in special Menu. Service is really fast and staff are very friendly.
Ranjan Pati
Went for the lunch buffet today with family, and it was extremely disappointing. Desserts didnt have variety and the kebabs were cold. Starters were too salty. I expected more from Spice Code given the rating and the pricey buffet.

We celebrated sons birthday.. Food was tasty and hygienic.. Service was good and fast.. Thank you<br/>Spice Code for making my sons birthday memorable

It's one of best restaurant in jp nagar.i have been there couple of times . The decor is very good .Food has an authentic Kerala as well as Mangalore taste.panner ghee roast and chicken ghee roast is a must try.I have tried most of the dishes here and all of them were good. The prices here are also pocket friendly even if you go for buffet option<br/><br/>The only negative point they have us the service which is very very slow after ordering you have to wait atleast 30 min for the food to arrive.
Anil Maddala
I would call it a average place for a buffet, taste was not upto the mark for the price we paid starters were serviced on the table making things slower than expected just got 2 veg starters and 2 non-veg starters and not a wide variety to be precise and after a long delay..<br/><br/>They had told us it will take 10 min for the buffet to be arranged not a problem could have kept up to the expectations with service and taste of the food.. <br/><br/>Gave 3* for the ambiance and 10% discount that we got in the bill.. which couldn’t justify a 5*.. <br/><br/>Thanks for hosting us.. Hope to see you people again sometime, might have a better experience to write about.. :)

Very much fine dine restaurant in JP Nagar. Their soups are really nice.<br/>Starters are their speciality. They serve coastal food majorly. We ordered Paneer Ghee Roast with Khali Dosa. It is the best ghee roast I ever had in Bangalore. Dosa were very soft and thin.<br/>The Mix Veg curry was prepared little different than normal restaurant. It was spicy but never felt like too much spices added.<br/>Tandoori Roti platter was enough for 3. It included various rotis n kulchas.<br/>They have one of the best desserts. There Choco Mud cake is very unique. It is exactly opposite of choco lava cake. It is cold inside. Their Gudbud ice cream is must try for families specialy.<br/>The restaurant is for Families and Couples. You get a good privacy and peace here. Definitely JP Nagar has got a new cool place to hangout with Family and Friends.

Spice Code by Check Post is a fine dining restaurant with good ambience and service, the menu has good options with decent prices and we tried crab soup, tandoori chicken, chicken butter roast, chicken roll, chicken fried rice and naan and the taste was good with decent quantity & would recommend this place for a quick break!
The Hangla
It’s our almost regular place to go for lunch from office. Nice ambiance, delicious food & good service. The jumbo mutton biriyani is a must try, appropriate for a group of 4-5, it is mouth watering...

Good ambiance and above all very very good food .<br/>Quantity and quality up to the mark . After quite long I have found an indian restaurant in which I loved every bit of dishes that I ordered.<br/>We ordered sweet corn and tomato soup .In starters we ordered veg spring roll and baby corn tandoori .<br/>Main course we ordered chilli milli sabji which was interesting and quite different .they served it with two kinds of gravy chilli and milli and it was too yummy .<br/>We ordered vegetable pulao and that was equally good .would keep visiting this restaurant and would recommend for the rest to try out if not already tried . :)
Deepa
It's a nice place to spend some time over food. We went on a team outing , tried ala carte . Yetti prawns with pepper was yummy , must try that out. Ambience is good , and food is not very expensive compared to other places in the area. There was a goof up in the dish that was serves to us, but when we pointed it out they accepted it and we got a complimentary dish .
Satvik
Biggest positive: value for money <br/>Negative: none <br/><br/>Located next to the Bangalore one near the mini forest park. Car parking is available in front of the place. The ambience is pretty decent. The staff are friendly, and service was reasonable quick even if it’s usually full on weekends. <br/><br/>There is quite a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The Indian and Chinese dishes are equally good. The chicken ghee roast, squid Sukka, chicken burnt chilli dry, was all really good. I have tried quite a few different starters on multiple occasions and none of them have disappointed. The main course breads and the chicken gravies are decent. The quantity is decent, and pricing is kept moderate. <br/><br/>On the whole, I think is definitely delivers and exceeds expectations in terms of taste, and that at a moderate price, makes it a place you could really choose to visit repeatedly. <br/>
Sadaf Idris Shehab
Have been here twice. Would love to go again.. delicious food and well informed friendly staff.<br/>Ordered non veg platter both times. It's delicious. The quantity is great too. Other dishes were roti, dal fry, chicken curry, fried rice. All taste great. I don't think there's any dish that would be disappointing. All the best. Keep it up.<br/>

I want to give 3.5 rating but its not available.<br/>Chicken kabab and Crispy garlic chilli fish were good. Also they serve food that are not in the menu.<br/><br/>We asked for and had the following items - <br/>Ginger tea, appam, coconut milk, Mushroom ghee roast.

An over hyped restaurant with one of the worst customer service... per booked table reached restaurant got a table near pee house.. asked to change place was told wait for 10 mins once some one vacated we can get that place... who cares attitude not sure how this piece of garbage is even<br/>Running in a prompt locality...<br/>
Sairam Subramanian
Poor ambience. Buffet food was not hot at all. Not much choice for vegetarians. We went on a Sunday afternoon and had a worst experience. We quickly informed the staff and walked out of the hotel and went elsewhere.
Sham Sesham
Very horrible experience. Food was pathetic and there was no categorization into veg and non veg in their buffet. And wrong name cards were placed on few items, and one of our veg colleague ended up having non-veg because of it. Not customer friendly in any way.<br/>Would not recommend.
Tanmai Niranjan
Food is pretty tasty.Ambience is also pleasant.Staff were also friendly. As for improvements I would say the quantity of the food for the price could be a little more and the service could also be made faster.
Deepa Kasiraman
We were late for a Sunday lunch almost 3pm. The soup, starters, side dishes were good. Salads, rice variety was not so great.<br/><br/>The service was very slow though it was not the peak timing.<br/><br/>We had to wait for almost 15mins for 2 roti and turned out not hot at all.<br/><br/>The dessert was good. The waiter who served was pleasant and atleast got the required for my daughter quickly though late for us adults. 🙂<br/><br/>The food served is good enough for the amount charged. We had a relaxed lunch with music in the background.
Eatizen
Its a combination of North indian and mangalorean food buffet .. Decent place with good number of choices for the price.. I think non vegetarians have more choices but all in all enjoyable experience..
Manuja
No point in rating or reviewing the food of a place where the service is so awful. While the food is good, the service is sluggish. The staff (the waiters not included) are unprofessional and have a take/it-or-leave attitude. Despite a confirmed booking we had to wait for 40 mins. The only reason we didn't leave the place was because we had elderly people in the group. When they finally gave us the table for 12, it was in instalments. First for 8 then for 2 then the other 2. We've ordered many times from Check Post their outdoor restaurant but coming to the restaurant was the most awful experience!
Pritika
Amazing food and friendly staff. Not a fuss about a thing , we had an issue with the bill that they rectified immediately. Clean place as well.<br/>

Best coastal food place. Had heavy and heavenly lunch. Fish meals awesome . Best place for sea food lovers...! Go for it without any second thought....<br/>.

Spice code is a fairly new place in jp nagar and we wanted to visit this for quite sometime now. We finally visited for a weekday dinner. They have a wide range of cuisines on their menu but specialize in coastal cuisine. We ordered manchow soup, chicken ghee roast, chicken in fried dry chilli and fried rice with a Manchurian gravy. Everything tasted really nice and the best part was the prices. Everything here is very reasonably priced.
Vivek Poduval
Best place who want hell lot of varieties..<br/>Wonderful place for lunch buffet..<br/>My family had a non veg buffet on a festive occassion.. we are totally happy with the variety they provide. Also the staffs are very good.
Rohit Dassani (www.RohitDassani.com)
Spice Code is part of the CheckPost family. This is an open restaurant like a darshani. They serve both veg as well as non-veg dishes. <br/><br/>We ordered the Idly which wasnt that good. The sambar was very bad. <br/><br/>We also ordered the Corn Cheese Sandwich. The corn was meshed to a paste. The sandwich tasted eggy. We had to leave it! Very bad experience. <br/><br/>The tea here is very good.

I went to this place on recommendations by one of the foody friend and yes this place is crowded with people and the location of this restaurant is among one of the most busiest place on south bangalore I believe and not let me quickly brief about the food I had here which was Pomfret and stuffed kulcha and the experience was fantastic<br/>lovely place.lovely people.delicious food<br/>apologies for not sharing any photo data however I can ensure the next time Iam I'm Iwill capture every foody moment<br/>Superb food with cool staff<br/><br/>

Amazing experience. Lovely sea food and curries.<br/><br/>The biryani is out of the world.<br/><br/>I had come here with my friends. I am coming back with my family for sure.
Saranya Bachala
Really sad food , terrible food and very very high priced. Not worth better not visit.<br/>With 2 starters and one main course without drinks your bill can easily go up to 2000/-
Vamshi
We had visited for veg Buffet. They have to improve a lot on starters (which were cold) and looks like cooked last night. Curries were bland and thin. Ambience was good. Not worth for a second visit.
Priyanka Singhal
Place location is fine. But food quality is poor. Everything is too sweet. I ordered tomato soup, it was all cream and no tomato. Kadaii paneer was all cream. There was no original flavour. Being a north Indian, I am hugely disappointed. Service was good though.
Madhura Prasanna
Though ambience is good, needs a lot of improvement in food taste and quality. <br/>It was quite a bad experience with hardly anything which tasted decent.
Anuj Aneja
Nice place to go with family and friends. Food quality and quantity both are good. Tried A-la-carte and had good combos available in menu. Tried chicken sukka and was great. Place is good too with nice music and food is available beyond working hours. Very good staff.
Tanisha Verma
Didn’t know their vegetable noodles comes only with peas my bad n the cheese cake is a stone cake that l make so much of noise on cutting it. Not quiet pleased at what this place offers.
Amrita Dutta
We went for a lunch buffet on a weekday. starting form starters to desert they have numerous choices.<br/>Being a Bengali love for fish will never end and they had really served delicious fish starters...lots of choices for both veg and nonveg... very pocket friendly.. staffs are really polite and courteous.i

We simply loved dining in at Spice Code. Perfect ambience, value for money be it A La-carte or Buffet. Perfect blend of spice with varied cuisine. Very hospitable and great customer service. We in fact we celebrated my husband's bday with family and we had amazing experience. We had all vegetarian dishes and they were pretty reasonable.  Veg- Medium Spiced- had Lasooni Kumbh and Paneer Tikka, Nachos was very delicious too... Soup shorba and Manchow soup was perfect ingredients and quantity. We tried Appam, veg stew, dhabewali dal (Yumm) Tawa Paratha, Malabar Paratha, tandoori roti where soft and tasty. Neer Dosa is pretty small and thin (Needs Improvement) Brownies were out of the world.  Overall a tummy full and happy experience. Will try their non veg dishes and certainly will share the review.

Had been here for a colleague's birthday treat. Now, this was lunch time during Friday. The staff were quick to get us a table, though they seemed all over the place with managing multiple things happening around them. It would have been great if every table had a representative who could help/deliver food to his/her tables(especially during buffet's). The buffet had one soup variety for veg and non-veg and multiple starters both veg and non-veg, salads ranging from pasta salad to squid and egg varieties. Starters included Mangalorean chicken fry, Chicken tengdi fry, gobi chilly, paneer tandoor just to name a few. the gravy dishes were great along with appams and roti's. Not to forget the biriyanis and steamed rice, rasam, curd rice. Deserts included 3 flavors of ice creams along with payasam, gajar ka halwa and an assortment of pastries. Overall, it was a sumptuous spread, we enjoyed the modern ambiance and tasty food.

We spotted this new eatery Spice Code and decided to give it a try. The interiors are pleasantly done in cool shades of yellow and blue, giving it a feel of a high-end coffee shop. We decided to try the buffet which seemed like a steal for Rs 260 all-inclusive and were in for a treat. The buffet included soups, salads, starters, mains, choice of Indian bread, Uppam, neer dosa and desserts. The cuisine was a combination of Chinese, North Indian and South Indian delicacies.<br/><br/>There is a lavish range of salads to choose from, both veg and non-veg. The starters were pretty good too, Paneer tikka, Gobi Manchurian, crispy corn, chicken wings, chicken kebab and fried fish. Plenty of mains to choose from ( prawns, chicken and fish) as well as a variety of vegetarian dishes and different kinds of rice preparations including biryani. The dessert is a simple choice of ice-creams and Halwa.<br/><br/>Our waiter was attentive and friendly and overall we had a great experience!

We planned to visit Check Post and found this restaurant just beside it and it caught our eyes and visited. This place has ample parking space and valet parking so was an easy entry. Coming to the menu, Oh Boy... All the names were coded and quiet pricy for a restaurant of this size. We went ahead and ordered a starter and Main Course from the Vegetarian menu. Yogurt Fritters were superb and Vegetable stew with Appam was even better. I may want to try their Non Vegeterain menu next time. Decent ambience but needs improvement in the Service as we have ask for everything ... I was told that they do serve lunch buffet on weekdays and dinner buffet on weekends. Will try those too during a working day.

4.5 Stars ..<br/><br/>I went there for a lunch buffet and absolutely loved it.. There is a lot of variety to choose from..<br/><br/>Salads : It's simply a salad heaven..so many to choose from like prawn salad, chicken salad, mix fruit , Caesar salad, pineapple n paneer salad .. (around 9 to 12 types of salads only ).. And this was the best part of buffet.<br/><br/>Appetizers : I liked the starters .. again spoiled in between choices.. Only thing is some starters like Paneer Tikka , Fish Fry, Chiken Wings were a little bit lukewarm.. That ruined the taste somewhat..<br/><br/>Main course : Again lots of variety..They also serve Uppam, which was quite good..<br/><br/>The main difference between this restaurant and other buffet places is the options available to vegetarians.. There is definitely more variety here than other places.<br/><br/>Deserts : This is one area they need to provide more options.. bcz my favorite Gulab Jamun was not present. Only some ice cream , gazar halwa etc were present..<br/><br/>Ambience was really nice..Not too much crowded..

The ambiance is good to spend some quality time with friends. Perfect place for brunch. English breakfast is a must try. Took an awful lot of time to serve which I didn’t like at all. I literally had to tell 3-4 waiters about the order. I’m not happy about that. <br/><br/>Overall: the food is good and the ambiance is splendid.

A new place in JPNagar, always caught our eyes when we drove by. Very so-so place. Buffet lunch is very ordinary. The interior is okeish. Suggestions for the staff - have someone to greet the customers, have someone to open the doors. Improve upon the taste of the food. The new-place tag won't work longer. I heard a lady next table complaining about spoilt browny dessert.

I had been to this place with my colleagues for a lunch buffet as it was one of my friends birthday treat.. it was a Shangai buffet as mentioned on cards!!<br/><br/>There were many options for the foodie in me to gorge on and I did make use of the opportunity to try all the dishes and I was very much successful in the process!!<br/><br/>There was many salads the names of which is very difficult to remember, the soup which was served for vegetarians is tofu with onions and vegetable stew I guess which was pretty decent.<br/><br/>There were starters which ranged from potatoes chilli honey to our own French fries in Shangai style. <br/><br/>The main course included noodles of two varieties and rice also of two varieties which was basically a pineapple rice and other being fried rice along with some Chinese curries.<br/><br/>For desert we had carrot and beet root halva along with some New innovations like fried banana with some rose kinda flavour which was like a good alternative for other kind of sweets.<br/>Also was a area where donuts and pastries were kept.<br/><br/>Ambience - 4/5<br/>Pricing - 4/5<br/>Taste - 3.5/5

Very nice place for quiet outing with family. Food was really tasty. Good options for chicken items. Fully South Indian mainly mangalore. The chef Mr Sharif was very cordial.

Nice place with good food ... would have given 4+ rating if not for the desserts section in the buffet ... the ice cream was melted n no options at all ... there were 3 types of halwa which was not at all good ... desserts are really important part of the meal ... literally need to improve on desserts part if not everything else was tasty and delicious. Staff is friendly and ambience was good. Will certainly visit if the desserts have more options and tasty

I always passed by this and today I decided to dine here after the manager gave me a small tour of the place. The place looks lavish and nice, having a luxury touch to it until you hear the price. It costs RS.161 inclusive of taxes. For a place that costs a buffet this low you tend to get skeptical about it. <br/>The food was really good, the starters was nice, the main course was descent but the desert options are not sufficient.<br/>The reception is really nice, all of them are well trained.<br/>The music selection is also good and everything is hygienic. <br/>Its the best place to eat when you're mildly broke and want good food. <br/>The overall experience is really nice. <br/>A good place for family get together and reunion for long lost batch mates. <br/><br/>

"Is this love, is this love that I'm feeling"<br/>As we entered Spice Code, I heard Bob Marley's "Is this Love" playing and eating at Spice Code gave the song a whole new perspective. As I attacked the buffet, the lyrics of the songs played in my head again and again - "Is this love, is this love I'm feeling".<br/>I was super hungry after the wife's shopping at Gopalan Mall and was undecided where to eat. As we drove around, we spotted this newly open restaurant and decided to go for it. The decor is bright, cheerful and colorful with both indoor and outdoor seating. The interiors are pretty much similar to the decor of a 4 star + hotel coffee shop.  The buffet counter is a little cramped but packs in a lot of power. And, the best part is the incredible price of the lunch buffet.<br/>₹261 ALL INCLUSIVE. <br/>Yeah, that's right. This set me thinking if the buffet would be good. And, sure it was! There were salads, two soups and loads of options. In non-veg there were 6 chicken items, two fish items and 1 prawn dish. There were seven varieties of ice cream. Plus you could get a choice of freshly made Indian breads. There was a section where you could help yourself to croissants, bread rolls, cakes and Danish pastries.<br/>What is equally awesome is the service that is provided. Every server is knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. They kept serving with a smile even when they had put the "closed" sign on the entrance,<br/>I hope they keep this up - the price, variation, quality and service. They have a a-la-carte offering also but that's for the next time.

Located on main road of JP Nagar 3rd phase, newly opened restaurant with pretty good ambience. Seating available outside and inside. We had ordered tomato Tulsi shorba (just ok), anjal tawa fry(very good), appam(felt the batter was old and not fresh) and veg stew(not good, too overloaded with poppy seeds flavour). Hospitality and service was pretty good. A must try for sea food likers. Would like to visit again to dry different dishes. Priced decent.

I was travelling with someone who is a pure jain and considering the paucity of jain food in this city we stumbled upon this place. We were greeted by Mr Ram Singh. He is a wonderful host. He helped us our a lot and made sure that delicious veg food was served to us. The food is awesome. The ambience is awesome and so is the hospitality.
