The place is easily reachable as well as visible from road. Each day have something special as their today's special. I liked their fish 🐠🐋🐟 preparations. The place is usually crowded and some waiting time is needed at times . The food is good and has a lot if variety. Good place to eat with ample sitting area

Looking for a kerala style food? One of the best choice in bangalore is thalassery restaurant. They are having multiple branches in bangalore, one of the best for me is at koramangala. You will gwt almost all items here for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks etc. And best for kerala porotta and pazhampori. Nice restaurant to come and eat food with family included children.

If you are a typical Malayali/Mallu (people from kerala), then this place is for you. You can have a quick bite of all the delicious kerala food.

On their suggestion I tried iddiappam for the first time and I liked it. Kerala parota is my all time favorite. With Thalassery chicken gravy it made magic. Totally loved it.

Good place serving Malabari cuisine. Very affordable, and delicious food. Not too great on the ambiance... service could be better. Deadly Tea! Must have!

It's a cosy place with amazing Kerala food. You should try appam and kadala curry ( Kala chana). If you are non vegetarian , you can try appam with chicken stew. Puttu and veg stew is another good breakfast option. You can sit and have nice Kerala tea and chit chat with friends

Had thalassery dum biriyani! A decent biriyani with less in quantity. Last couple of days i have been searching for some good mallu restaurents, finally i got this one, I am happy with the menu and price.

Good tea and evening snacks. Combos are also good, but they are cash only.

A famous Kerala restaurant highly recommended by my sister. There's not much seating inside or conversely they couldn't have expected to grow so popular. But it's worth the wait and the taste is quite good. They serve the usual Kerala dishes and then some more. To get easy seating, go a little early and avoid big groups. Will I go there again? Definitely. Every time? Definitely no.

We have ordered a leafy fish biriyani and chicken biriyani. The chicken biriyani was not so good but ok. The leafy fish biriyani was just flavourless. The masala was like only the onion was sauted without any spices added. The fish was so tasteless and flavourless. The quantity was just fine. Overall not worth the price.

One of the worst biryani I ever eat ,the quantity of chicken ginger and chiken kabab is like temple prasad. Attitude towards customer is pretty embarrassing

Good authentic Thalassery Biriyani

A perfect place to try good kerala food, they have some good sea food starter's and authentic Kerala snacks, Thalasseery briyani is must Try!

Cheats they are. To unlock zomato gold they ask for minimum Rs.250 bill. No support from zomato customer care as well after repeated complaints. Same issue highlighted by many users months back. Zomato does not care for it's gold users.

Nowhere close to other Thalassery restaurants. Seemed like a cheap copy

Probably the worst Kerala restaurant in Bangalore.  Be cautioned especially when you order a take away or home delivery. They serve stale/ burnt food and also wrong items. Overall I would give it -5 stars but there is no option for that  here

Place doesn't care for customers. They make their rules and say Zomato gold is not applicable for dishes above 250 after we've unlocked it at their restaurant. Very sad to see such unprofessional behavior from a Zomato gold restaurant.

Third class frauds selling stale and bland food in the name of Thalassery chicken curry. I only tasted this and realised the worth of th place. Looters...

Food was not hygienic and the place was stinking. To avail ZOMATO gold they asked us to order above a certain amount and there was no printed bill on top taxes was charged and for gold customers cards are not accepted on this place as the cashier was feeling he was giving food for free.

Too much less space, one guy to take up all the orders, too slow and rude. Had problems applying Zomato Gold too. They very well are not aware of how the Zomato Gold membership would work and that made the Gold experience very worse. The food is good, but the ambience destroys everything.

I am not sure if all the chains are this bad but the food wasn't good at all. Biryani was bland, place isnt that clean to sit and eat too. Disappointed.

Had visited with family to have good Thalassery cuisine. But this place is not that great. Order few stew and appam and there special fish curry with rice. Fish curry was good but the stew was disappointing us. Serving time also too long.

Was not All that great an experience. They served something else saying it's chicken stew. Was really bad that we couldn't eat. Appam was okay . Parotta wasn't the flaky nice ones we expected it to be.

If you want taste of Kerela food , it is the best place for you. especially the Kerela meal is best.so do come here . quality of other food are also good.

Went there on a Friday afternoon..the place was almost full..we ordered their special chicken biryani, tandoori roti & punjabi chicken curry..everything tasted good..not awesome though..the rotis were too hard to chew, curry was a bit sour than usual and couldn’t find anything special about the biryani..overall experience was ok..can try once.

Untidy restaurant and very bad food. The only good thing is the parota and banana fritters. Very rude management. Strictly visit at your own risk.

I had been several times to thalasery kerala had biryani at Raraivis and Paris typical malabar briyani they serve rice with stuffed masala meat but here no masala and had barota with mutton curry the mutton is not fresh ...so disappointed👎

They have given chapati without cooking it.The worst chapati ever ,they have simply given wheat as you can see in this picture. Never wate money on such restaurant.

One of the best restaurants available in Koramangala for Kerala food. Always crowded. But worth the wait.<br/>Gravies are fingerlicking and reasonably priced. Heaven for Kerala food lovers.

It was a tale to two ingredients. While the rice was soft , succulent and aromatic, the chicken was hard , rubbery and over cooked . Overall the dish tasted ok , but the hardness of the chicken took the sheen of it , nevertheless my love for kerala chicken biriyani lives on !

Went to this restaurant last month and they served pathetic food. We ordered puttu parotta Egg burji curry. the food was of very bad quality that I got food poisoning and suffered a lot for nearly two weeks.

One of the worst experiences hand down. They didn't even bother to wipe my table which was dirty. I had tandoori chicken and naan, i tasted so bad and the salad they gave me with it was a waste.

I am not a very big fan of andhra style dishes. We went there for a colleague’s birthday party. They served us in banana leaves. The restaurant is not very spacious,and we were 12 people. They joined tables for our seating. We ordered various dishes including biryani chicken and fish starters and naan with mutton gravy. I felt the food was too spicy. The taste was ok. So I won’t prefer this for someone who is not a very big fan of Andhra dishes.

Selling water bottles more than MRP and when i pointed out the cashier was cocky enough to say that "MRP hoga fifteen but 20 ka hi hai"<br/>Kindly train your staff on how to talk to customers and not loot them by going against the law !

Seriously saying didn't like the food ordered through zomato... Just good at keeping high price for food not setting the standard in food... Its just waste..

Use to frequent when the restaurant was called Malabar.  Post its re-branding and probably an ownership change, didn't visit until sometime back.<br/>Their kerala style chicken rolls are a must try. Though a little oily at times, the flavor is excellent and a fantastic evening snack.The chicken and mutton traditional curries are very good too and so are the fish curry.<br/>Yet to try their appam, puttu and kappa with meen curry.<br/>Service barely exists. while the staff is humble, the folks at the cash counter get impatient if you ask them any questions about availability of the food! :D<br/>The food is value for money. at 20 rupees especially for the little chicken roll, it cant get any better!

Didn't like the items that much..It was ok ok.I ordered tandoori roti,but they gave plain chapati and tagged it as tandoori.And if I compare the size of the fish fry with the price,it is bit overpriced.

Pathetic food. We ordered fish, appam, puttu and idiappam and chilli chicken. Everything was below average. But more than anything, the table was so dirty and sticky. The tissue paper with which I tried to wipe the table turned green. Food took too much time.

I have ordered chicken biriyani, kerala porotta and afgani chicken. The biriyani rice was not cooked well and the curry they have added a lot of water in it. The person in the cash counter is rude i have paid by card after the payment he threw on the table very rude behaviour<br/>

Fingerlicking Malabar Biriyani. Pappadam along with biriyani would have been great. The meals is also a good option here. A good place to have kerala food.

If there was an option to give one star I would have given that .. I don't the experience of dining from this restaurant, but I ordered it online .. It was not worth the money I paid .. So please rethink ..

There is no doubt about the taste but the only concern I have with this restaurant is it's hygiene. They can think about improving that aspect of customer satisfaction. Meals and Chicken Biriyani are their USP.

I used to eat breakfast from here daily. The quality of food kept on going low and at one point I had to stop. The last time I had breakfast, they gave stale puttu - atleast two weeks old, reheated.  This place is a live insult to traditional Kerala cuisine.

I've been there yesterday and order some Chinese. To my wonder it actually tasted good and i just loved it. The service was good either. Place was not so clean. They should look after that. And yes the lime juice was excellent. They serve varieties of non-vegetarian foods either but i can't say about the taste as i am a vegetarian. Though it seemed people loved the food there. So overall it was a good spent of money. And i am giving 4 star to this place. All they need to do is make the place a bit organised and keep it clean.<br/>

If someone just bumps into any restaurant with the name, Thalasserry in it, then it's quite obvious that he/she wants to have Thalasserry biriyani! Same happened with me as well n to my surprise, it was good enough ; better than expected as most of the restaurants just use my town's name to pull the crowd! Happened to be in this place one late evening. As I was searching for a cab and saw this place. Thought why not try Kerala cuisine once.<br/><br/>The place was crowded however found a table vacant. The order taker suggested Thalassery biryani and based on one of my colleague’s recommendation I too ordered Poricha Kozhi.<br/><br/>Food came in very quickly and was hot. First tried a bite of Poricha Kozhi and the meat was so tender which came out pretty easily. Masala and other ingredients were properly marinated and can be felt in each bite. Presentation of Poricha Kozhi was truly tempting.<br/><br/>Post that I started with the Biryani and it was absolutely mind blowing. Totally different style, the rice was well cooked, mutton was soft which is actually little hard in most of the restaurant. The meat was coming out quite easily and effortlessly.<br/><br/>Lastly I ended with a lime soda but unfortunately this was too sweet. Otherwise entire experience was just close to perfect.<br/><br/>Just a small suggestion, ambiance can be enhanced by playing some music and also hygiene can be looked into.

Very cheap quality.... I ordered pepper chicken fry full.. in that only 5chicken pieces and full of onions... Most of the contant is only onions.. And poor taste and quality... Don't order from this restaurant...

A regular place for everyday eats. If you love kerala porotta , you should try it here with malabari chicken curry. The pepper chicken masala will satisfy any spicy lover. Even though their title dish, thalassery biriyani is not upto the mark, the south indian meals here is one of the decent ones in this locality.

Average food. If you are a girl you might find the waiters extremely annoying. But you can ignore all this if your tummy is craving for some Kerala food.

Ordered Egg Biryani to go. <br/>1. Food was cold when it was handed over to me. <br/>2. I was made to wait for 15 mins even before someone started the packing (de-shell 2 eggs, put them in with Rice and put the lid). Did not even bother to pack it properly.<br/><br/>While I was waiting for my order, I was seeing in their kitchen. They have an open kitchen with glass. So, you get to see everything. Food is handled with bare hands.  And it was re-heated in the mircowave before delivered to the table.

Today we visited the restraunt for breakfast. We ordered Appam, Egg Curry, Idiyappam and Veg Kuruma. Egg Curry was not remarkable. But everything else was yum. We tried the tea and black coffee as well, both of which were good. Must try is Appam.

It's an ok place to have food. I didn't really find it great. We had ordered grill and apparently they didn't serve with mayo. And the grill wasnt that great. No offence but I didn't like it.

Ordered Thalassery dum biryani today, it’s not dum , this is ghee rice some chicken with some onion masala added in it! If you don’t know what dum biryani is don’t try to sell it , you are not fooling anyone!!
