I had cravings of Girmit and Bajji and that’s when I figured this place in Kormangala. I was shocked at the number of positive reviews it has and went to check out. I tool one Holige and one plate of Girmit, Bajji. Holige was put directly from tawa and with the ghee totally enhanced the taste. The Girmit Bajji is also too good. Even though it is a small outlet i have seen all the kind of people come here and enjoy the North Karnataka delicacies. Must try place if you’re looking for a North Karnataka food.
After experiencing a nice warm uttara karnataka food with the hotel opposite to this basweshwara with the more expectation i reached this hotel. The food was really great i had one plate colored rice with beans palaya and mosuru it was too good the taste. And had 1/2 plate curd rice as well. The bajji was ok and maddhur vada was good. The place too much crowded so getting the food and coming out to having it itself an epic achievement. I was comparing to the hotel opposite for atmosphere i would have given them less. But the food quality and taste was too good.
It’s a challenge to even order in the packed storefront of Santrupti Uttara Karnataka, and most people stand right outside with their plates to eat. But that’s how you know this Karnatakan place is good! I got the Jolad Roti meal, which came with two soft, flour-dusted sorghum flatbreads along with a black chickpea curry, green chilies cooked with tomatoes, and raw onions for garnish. I also got a chili baji, a whole green chili fried in a thick, crispy besan batter. The flavors of the food here were spot-on, and the lively, raucous atmosphere was all part of the street food experience!
Oh this is the place to eat the authentic Uttara(North) Karnataka style vegetarian food. Start with Holige followed by Jollad rotti and palya (everyday different variety) and if you still have space then do fill it with some colour Rice or Rice samber with Mirchi bhajji. Street parking and better when you stand and eat. No token system eat and then pay. Lunch time will be too much rush but no worries food is always available hot and fresh.
Homely and tasty veg food in a decent price in Koramangala. This is South Indian, specially North Karnataka style food that matches many home food across India. Highly recommended. Sometime you would find huge or reasonable crowd but few patience would satisfy you forever.
They have lot of varieties and daily keep on changing few menu. Try it there.
One of the best place to have food in Kormangala (Bengaluru) it's really good & tasty even the price is affordable they serves uttra Karnataka style food & the service is also good specially the owner Mr. Gopal he is really a good person the politeness & helpfull nature of his and the way he guide about food according to the customers (non kannadigas) must appreciated ❤️
Have the Amazing Experience whenever I visit 🥰
Gets crowded during peak hours. Taste is amazing. Only concern is no place to sit and have ur food. If you love a street food, then this is a place for veg varieties.

It's cheap and good quality home made food you get around Koramangala area.
It's just opposite to Bosch office.
You can have rice , chapati items starts from 35rs.
They do have home made sweets and snacks like laddoo, holige with reasonable price.
The best Girmit I’ve had. The portion is huge. So please ask for half. It’s very affordable too. I would recommend to eat with mirchi Bajji.
The Dharwad Mishra peda box is best here. Everyone at my office liked it.
Bajji is again very crispy and tasty. It’s a paradise for north Karnataka food and a must visit if you are in Koramangala. Hygiene must be good, since I didn’t fall sick or had any stomach issues even after eating several times.
Few things that can be improved is the atmosphere and size of the store. The shelves can be better with spot lighting. It looks like a shop from 90s.
Amazing food here. Not a fancy place. If you are someone who loves homemade food then this is the place for you. Tiny place with limited seatings. The place will be opened around 12:30 pm in the afternoon. but by 1:30 pm, all the food from the menu will be ready. and yes, super affordable for the quality and quantity.
One of the best and affordable place to try out Karnataka style foods. One should try methi chapati there. Service is good. I would have given 5 stars if the place was more accessible. The reason behind is that the place can't be seen easily from road. The other thing is that in the lunchtime there is a huge crowd. They should try to get more space to accommodate more people. Other than these things everything is great.
Very good and tasty food okay but hotel space is very less we are standing and eating food by the side of the road only it's very rushed in afternoon lunch timing. Otherwise the food is good 💯.
Best North Karnataka food and affordable for everyone
Hard to get food here we need maintain line lot of peoples all the time food was tasty.

One of the best places for having authenticated delicious North karnataka dishes.
The quality and taste of the food is very good.
It's like home food prepared and served .
Its ambience was clean and neat, the only point to be improved is space and seating capacity. Only vegetarian food available. You will also get Holige, Raagi rotti, Akki rotti, Chapathi, white rice, variety rice and daily different curry/subji/sambar. It will be always crowded during peak time.
Owner and the staffs are very friendly and humble.
It is so easy to identify in the street. It's always recommended to try it out for the taste of North Karnataka food.
Lovely homely North Karnataka food. Akki roti, Ragi Roti, Ennegai, Rice Sambhar, Bonda, Flavoured Rice, Raita. And Majjige to top it off! Perfect comfort food in the middle of a workday and healthy to boot! And the price is absolutely reasonable. Recommend this to all who work in the vicinity. The place gets a little packed 1:30 PM onwards so my suggestion is that you go by 1 PM and finish off. There is also not much place to sit so the earlier you go the better.
Good variety rice along with different gravies which they don't charge,
Specially brinjal gravy is so tasty with rice.
Holige is awesome.
Their charges are very less but they maintain good quality of food inspite of less charges of food.
And most of all good staffs.....
And good service....
