Review Satya's Kitchen - Bengaluru

Nice place to visit this hotel 🏨 Because Andhra style is good for this hotel in VEG and NON-VEG 😋 Ambiance is clean and good 😊 Atmosphere was little good 💯 Parking facility is only available for two wheeler 🏍️ not for four wheelers 🚙 because it is difficult to park..✅

Best place to have meals in RT nagar for affordable prices. You will feel the taste of Andhra essence in every item. I have been a customer for more than 3 years. They have shifted recently to a new place which is quite happening and kind of food street in RT nagar.

Andhra style mess in the locality. If you go there, you should definitely try there rice meal. They give palak dal, and thats my favourite. Also the ghee rice tastes awesome. And some side dishes and pickels and sweet to go by the rice platter. It cost 60rs, but the quantity is too much, and quality is great too. Didnt realy like the chicken cuisines there. But you can definitely give those a try
Sukumara Rai
This is Andhra style restaurant. Food is good, both veg, non veg is available, chicken, mutton dishes are served. One can visit with family also....
Sukanya Lal
Best Andra style food in reasonable price. Gets both veg and non veg. Good for daily outside eaters
Siddu Manne
Good place for Andhra style veg and non veg food around RT Nagar.. Bangalore

This is the right place for you to have authentic, homely Andhra style food. Very neatly maintained, hygiene is their priority is what the owner said. Special recommendations for basic normal meals, Biryani, Chicken 65, Chicken fry, kebabs and lollipops and many more. You just have to visit here once and you’ll fall in love, undoubtedly!

This Andhra style hotel or you can say mess is situated in RT Nagar and serves very very tasty food in reasonable price. Hotel is very neat and clean with decent sitting arrangement. We tried their full Andhra meal and one plate chicken kabab.

In their full meal they served first some kind of sweet made up of rice and sugar syrup ( sorry but don't know the proper Andhra name of the dish) then there was plain white rice, spinach sambhar, gun powder, ghee, pampad, diced patato fry, rasam, curd. If you want to have homely food with reasonable price, then this hotel is highly recommended. The two full meals along with chicken kabab costed us Rs. 210.

Worst food ever had mutton biryani was more like puliyogere with mutton. PATHETIC taste . Used to visit this place 5 years back now it's got worse . Do not visit this place many good hotels and options around .
Pampa Saha
PATHETIC biryani ever . Was like puliyogere with mutton pieces . Pls do not visit this place it's a shame to Andhra cuisine . Was good before but has gone down now .

Set out in an homely atmosphere as it gets. The food is homely as the atmosphere although not that pocket friendly. The service is good. Overall good experience.

Ordered chicken biryani few months back which didn't even taste like biryani on the other hand it's overly priced.. Never even thought of ordering from this place again!

This is not same like other andhra mess. Here they give one cup rice, and one vegetable. Charges Rs 60. Pappu also not green one, its red one. Taste also not like typical andhra mess. No chapati given in the meals. Total waste of money. For Rs 50 I get the following in other places and taste also damn good. Chapati, 2 types of veg, colour rice like veg biryani, 1 big cup rice, green Pappu, unlimited sweets

If you wanna try Andhra meals then this is definitely worth trying. Starting with sweet, dal, vegetable fry, curry, three types of sambar, pickles, gun powder - a gud meal for regular foodies. Few more specials include Guntur chicken fry, egg biryani and other non veg curries. D most economical and stomache fullical experience.. 😊

Went for late lunch, a nice place they were really taste and the quantity also good, the service was fast and very good, if you are looking for good ambience this is not the right place
Cyriac Joy
Pricy and terrible tasting food
Except the veg meals and the biryani which is very delicious
Terrible indoor seating and poorly washed plates

Nagendra Bharadwaj
Very unclean place. The food is ok, there are better andhra cuisines available right across. The restaurant owner isn't accommodating to any of customers minute requests! Too bad!!
Hemanth R
The place is famous for Andhra cuisine.Ordered meals -comprises of kheer, rice, appam and pappu (Andhra version of dal with vegetables cooked) with lots of ghee.
The meals were too good, hot and just spiced right. The dampener was the Guntur chicken which was undercooked, loaded with lot of spice and just didn't taste right..
At a time around 60 pax can be seated, have a separate parcel counter.Basically a 2 bedroom house taken on rent and converted to a watery with some garden place where 4 tables have been placed.
Meal for 2 costs Rs 220-250/-
Parking not available..
Could try once..am not going back again though...
Pocket friendly.Filled with working class for a quick lunch...

I tried this place based on my friend's recommendation and I have ordered for the carrier meals a couple of times from here and I really loved the authenticity of the Andhra flavor in their food.
The chutney, sambar and daal are some of the highlights!
The food is not expensive at all!
Haven't tried anything else here..But will surely do!
Ambience is not great!
Service - no comments as I always preferred take away which was quick!
Their meals option is anytime worth a try!
Bharathi Kannan
Best place for meals, serves the most economical and tasty meals. For those bachelor out there best place to go at the end of the month economical. Andrastyle meals I'd what this hotel is known for.
Fatboyslim
This is what we are used to calling it a "mess" ..It should ideally be called as satyas mess 😀 the food is simple and straightforward . It's andhra meals and some omelette or chilly chicken or chicken kababs along with it . If your looking at ambience and fine dining this ain't the place ...But they serve fresh Andhra meals probably anytime of the day ...Cheers
Allen
Definitely not a place to eat if you're particular about ambiance. The place is good for bachelors and youngsters who are looking for VFM everyday food options. I have just had the carrier meals take-away twice, and am very impressed by the quantity. The quality isn't lagging behind either. It is definitely bang for the buck. For accompaniment, ordered the Guntur chicken. It was tasty and full of flavour, but I'd like to warn that it isn't for the people who cannot handle some spice! It was quite spicy even for me (my threshold for spice is on the higher side), but when eaten with something a little bland, it feels much better. All in all, a decent experience so far. Eager to try more items on their menu, especially their seafood options.

Happy Hogging!

this is a good hotel to visit. at least late night after work and take few things parcel good to go with whatever we get just for a one time meals

I don't know why even they are in the listing. The restaurant is so bad and unhygienic.
You see them preparing the same spoon is used for dishes preparation and that's kept in the vessel with some dirty water.
The food taste was also bad not even average. When asked for chilly chicken Chinese style they still prepared and gave Andhra style.
Not worth and not at all recommended.
Abhijith Singh
We usually order out from here as takeaway. The food is very good. Not sure whether I would take my family there for a dine out. But definitely a value option for times when you don't want to cook.

MN what should I say about this place so dam amazing staff. They serves u from heart. Beverages are very very less price. Anything we ordered from menu was extremely delicious especially their lemon chicken. And galic naans are yum. Outside sitting is simply best to chill out in the evening with friends. Thanks to the staff I am sure I am gonna come back with many people again

The mutton biryani was not that great over here but the prawn fry was just too good. Lover it. The ambiance of the place is a bit disappointing but the food is good and the place is clean. The pricing too is obviously very good.
Vinusha Kanchi
The ambiance of this place is nothing great. This place comes under the lower end of restaurants but the food here is too good and the pricing too is very very reasonable. Loved the mutton keema. It was good. Though its on the lower end of restaurants the hygene is impressive and the service is not professional but is good.

It's good for working lunch . Serves Andhra meals both veg and non veg.

Often visit this place for lunch with office colleagues.

Will update more later.

Yummy Andre style veg and non veg foods in very less price comparatively :) prawns fry, guntur chicken are very tasty
Ambience - 3/5
Food - 4/5
Service - 3.5/5

Used to get decent biryanis before but not anymore. Quality and quantity both got deteriorated over a period of time. Unfortunately I had ordered some biryani knowingly from them and it got spoilt within 2 hrs. From the time of delivery. Never ever going to repeat this mistake..

This place has been in my neighborhood for quite a while but I never quite went ahead and tried out the food here. Thanks to apps like Swiggy we now have the opportunity to eat food from places that we usually can't/won't go to.
The Bangalore weather has been so amazing the whole of this week. Sunday evening and I was craving something hot and spicy.
I anyway wanted to try the Non-Veg food from here so decided to order in.
We ordered only two dry/starter items:
Curry Leaf Chicken: The fragrance of curry leaves and Masala filled the room as soon as we opened the packet
Chicken Fry : Chicken pieces, semi gravy style mixed well with Masala.
The pieces of chicken were medium sized and cooked well. Both the items had an enticing aroma.
This place offers a very good deal for the amount we spend.
Definitely going to be trying more items from here.

RT Nagar doesn't have a dearth of joints offering Andhra Cuisine, but Satya's Kitchen seems to do the trick on this front.

On a recent visit I put in an order for the Veg meal and a side of Chicken 65 (meat is my elixir!).

Their classic veg meals are sumptuous, but their non-veg dishes on offer are relatively insipid.
The meals may not come with a plethora of sides, but they have the requisites to keep you satisfied.

The chicken dish on the other hand was bland, run-of-the-mill and not particularly appetizing.

This joint doesn't exude cleanliness or a comfortable ambience, but being a mess (pun intended), you make do.

Priced reasonably and prompt in service, Satya's kitchen gives you the rare delight of having a delicious veg meal over the non-veg counterpart.
Manoj Ananth
the food taste is too good but the rice they serve is added with baking soda. Better avoid rice foods here. All other foods are too good. As i'm a veggie i can tel about veg food and my friends tell even non veg foods are mouth watering here.

I'm almost taking my everyday lunch(meals) in Satya's Kitchen for past 1 year. My stomach is very sensitive, but I never felt stomach upset or digestion problem in taking Satya's meal. I'm from Chennai, South Indians day doesn't complete without taking meals(Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Butter Milk, Curd, Ghee, Sweet, Papad, Pickle) at least once a day. Satya's Kitchen provides Andhra style food Which has Good Taste & Better quality for what you pay. Trust me you'll never find Good meal in RT Nagar surrounding other than Satya's. Better try it once and decide by yourself.

This place is basically a Andhra style mess. To just make you familiar with the place quickly - Its basically a Cheaper version of Hotel Nandhini. Food is pretty good but then forget about the Hygiene, service and all that bull crap pre-conceived notions about the restaurant when you come here. Its just Walk In --> Ask for meals --> EAT Quietly --> Burp --> Pay the Bill and Just Leave boss. Enough said.
Dev
This is not a hotel it's a mess set up which is named as hotel. U cannot walk in this place with any ladies or family.

As u wil see full of locals and drunken and bus drivers as its closed to garage.

Coming to food mediocre food nothing great to comment food hygiene is not great as I said it's a mess.

If someone wants mess experience u can avail. PLEASE AVOID THIS SICK PLACE
Kishlay Nandan
Its located in RT nagar main road, just behind the bus depo. You can't sit and dine in here, it's a mess, better go for takeaway. Food quality and quantity is okay okay.
ps: pocket friendly.

The food used to very good, when I was going to this place 2 years back. But now the taste is reduced but still okay for the price range. We used to take the meals, which is better than other stuffs.
The Chapattis is very dry and needs to be made softer.
Shreyas Yc
Dont go for the biryani ,their meals and their chicken dishes are brilliant. Dont miss their authentic andhra style chilly chicken ,i guess its one of the best ive tasted in the city . The prices are very reasonable, and i wouldnt take my family there as the place is very small and there is no proper seating as such its just plastic chairs and a plastic table ,so if you are riding solo or going with your friends this mess is really worth a try .
Vikram B
We used to go to this mess regularly. But now I feel the quality has decreased substantially.

One night, during dinner, we found a big cockroach in the sambar. No apologies from the mess owners, and they treated it as a usual problem.

Not recommended, unless they have taken care of the hygiene.
Krithikha Ap
The only item I've tried from is the egg biryani and that is cause I have absolutely and completely fallen in love with it. In case you are a sucker for ambience or are dining with family it is better to pack food from here.
Karan Pawar
Came here on the recommendation of one of my friends.
I ordered the chicken biryani and chicken 65. Both were simply delicious! Biryani was cooked in Andhra style, so it was nice and spicy. The chicken 65 complemented the biryani very well.
Overall, this place was worth it.

Ambience - 3/5
Food - 4/5
Value for money - 5/5

Godsend for a good meal and value for money.. The plate meals are super and biryani is ok.. Have had better but we eat here when we don't feel like cooking at home

It's the only place we get to eat Andhra food around here.

And the owners are very friendly.

The cool thing about them is they serve a very good tasting sweet just before the meal.
Bhargav Tej Reddy
A very popular restaurent in RT Nagar, which serves Andhra Style Food. People throng this place during the lunch and dinners, which speaks volumes about the taste of the food they serve. The resturent which is actually set up in a house, doesn't have even an average ambience. But, who cares. The taste of the food they serve is delicious and spicy. The food is served real quick. And the icing on the cake is, the food is not expensive at all. Even though this restaurent creates a parking ruckus during lunch and dinners, people don't crib about it. This resturent has proved that, taste comes first and the rest comes later and doesn't even matter.
Vamshi Ballikonda
Regular Andhra food. Since it's difficult to get Andhra food nearby, eating there feels like home. Cost is reasonable. Service and place is not really great, but the rating is for food. It feels like home, when you eat there.

Average place comparing to d cost ... Meals are good .... ..,.................................................................................

Highly acclaimed place for south Indian Home food. Though it deserves the same,it doesn't satisfy your taste buds when you try specials here.Non-veg curries are a BIG no-no to order from here. Its well known for meals with nice curries .Non-crunchy papads and deep fried munchings in regular meals would be negatives.
Well known for home made kind dosas at the same time are expensive .egg bhurjee, egg masala are bland at taste. Chicken biryani is tasty and peculiar to south indian tastes ,not hyderabadi style but you'll find quantity very small compared to other biryani stores in and around here.I'll definitely doubt the oil being used for deep fry dishes like manchuria here. Chicken pieces stored in are fired in oil and served. Totally unhealthy and resembles road side fast food centers.Service is quick

Disclaimer: This rating is purely for the food; the place itself is as shady as they get. =P

Amazing value for money Andhra meals that I dont see myself getting sick of ANYTIME soon. Their side dishes are decent if not great, and their biryani is a shade better.
But let me just put the meals in perspective here a bit, this place is filled with the most sidiest and shadiest crowd and nine outta ten times you wont find any women dining here, but the food is so good that I've actually trained myself to tune out the atmosphere there. =P
Besides the staff is very peaceful there and don't cry even if you ask then for papad about eight times during your meal. =D
Abhijith Maney
Adds too much of soda to rice.

Inconspicuously located at the end of the RT Nagar Main Road, adjacent to Cuppa and the Anandnagar Bus Depot, Satya's Kitchen is one of your regular Andhra Mess-type eateries found all over Bangalore. A 3-4 tables of courtyard seating plus a bigger inner seating area is what one will come across here.

The dishes are priced reasonably with the latest rates for Full Meals being Rs.65 and Limited Plate Meals being Rs.55 while most other non-veg dishes are priced around Rs.80 along with some higher priced ones. The Biryani, which I haven't tasted yet, looked nice as also different from the regular Andhra-style Biryani.

Quite busy during lunch hours, this is a place popular among bachelors. As such, there is nothing much left to describe about it.

Verdict- A regular Andhra-mess of the decent kind.
Madan Kumar
This one is a 100% paisa vasool.

If you have those tingling taste buds and a craving for spicy andhra food, this is the place.

Possibly the most economical food joint I have come across and delicious too.

Nothing to talk much about ambience of this 'home converted to food joint' place. I recommend this place for takeaways

Don't miss to try Telangana fry and Andhra chilly chicken - scorchingly spicy!

Go for it!
Deepak
Good Andhra Style food at the lowest price in around R.T. Nagar or maybe in bangalore.
I would prefer this anytime than to the "famous" andhra style restaurant of Bangalore Nandhini which is just around a KM away from this place.
Small place with hardly 5-6 tables. Ok on hygenie but can improve.
Full meals, with unlimited pappu and Sambar.
3 Chappatis with curry cost around Rs.40.
Chicken items priced around Rs. 70-80.
Biryani around Rs.90.
VFM would be the lunch, very close to home cooked lunch.
People staying alone/from out of bangalore, and staying in and around R.T.Nagar, If you don't have any issues eating at a small place, then is a good place for the price you pay for some good food.
Rohit Ajay
This place is really amazing for a quick lunch with sky rocketing prices of other hotels this place serves both veg and non veg at very very reasonable prices the best meals you can have at this price I really appreciate the owner
