Review Pabrai's Fresh & Naturelle Ice Creams - Bengaluru

Kranthi Kiran
Nolen Gur - Ask for this and I promise that you will be transported to heaven. Nothing else comes closer for me in terms of wholesomeness.
Subhajit Datta
It's a classic Pabrai outlet with all of its best flavoured ice-cream available there. There's a small but cozy place to sit and enjoy your ice-cream. The staff there is very helpful and super polite. The tables and the surrounding is kept clean and hygienic. The Nolen Gur flavour is a must try here. They also pour nolen gur on top of the icecream, and it tastes wonderful! Definitely go here if you are craving for some flavours from Bengal!
Monika Lahiri
Ice creams taste and varieties are really good. It is a very small place which can accommodate maximum 4-5 people. It is in a basement so too many mosquitoes. The price is high as compared to the quantity served. Nalen gur is one of the best and unique flavour.
RAJESH KUMAR
I use to buy Pabrai’s fresh and natural ice creams for years now . the verity of ice creams in self is mouth watering taste and you never feel to ignore it. The shop is opened late nights and only one concern it is in basement on visibility in the main road. Don’t miss to taste the natural vanilla, Rich chocolate Brownie, Pabrai’s Nalen Gur and Tender Coconut which we never miss to taste here.

A different ice cream experience with loads and loads of ethnic flavours. Every flavour tastes very natural and non synthetic. Sugar free options(limited) are also available.
Arch Ram
Well, some of the very BEST icecreams I've had in life. Natural & original Indian flavors not available elsewhere. The only reason I've taken away a star is because it's VERY costly. For a decent double scoop, almost ₹250/-
Sarim Iman
Not much variety in terms of flavours, but the south indian coffee is a must try. Place could've been a bit more spruced up. Behind the counter, you could see random stuff stacked here and there. Positive was they had two small air coolers running for the comfort of the customers
Sanjeet Miranda
Unique ice cream place. Tried multiple flavours, but you need to try their Nalen Gur. Very nice flavour and very unique. Seems to be a specialty of West Bengal. They also have few seasonal flavours on offer. The pricing is bit high (approx 100rs per scoop). Must try if you are bored of the regular ice cream joints around.
Rama Rama
Great Indian Flavours worth trying! Only a tad costly. If 2 scoops cost ₹200/- (GST included) instead of ₹250/-, that will be Value for money.
Chandrakant Thangapalam
There's a saying "don't go by the looks" or "there's more to me" both the quotes very well fit for this small and humble ice cream shop if you look from outside it's just 10/10 shop not even visible from the normal traffic but if you see it and have a try with the shop you will just be mesmerised with the taste and the flavour just induces your tongue for another round. The best flavour which I would recommend is nalen Gur, chandan and tender coconut. When you eat those flavours you will definitely get foodgasm. The flavours just remain in your tongue even after finished eating. After having ice cream from here I stopped having ice creams from BR, ibaco etc these ice creams are just heaven. Try it if you go to hsr layout. Never ever miss it.
Sudhakara Reddy
One of the best place when it come to quality and hygien ,
gautam sharma
Nulen gur was awesome. That's the best thing you can get here. Second is gondhoraj lemon. That's the epic smelling Bengali lime that is really awesome! Expensive though. One small scoop costed 93. Worth a try once though!
cedric carvalho
This is a hidden gem of hsr. They have an awesome selection of flavours. Do try the sandalwood ice cream ( the first bite is a bit over powering) it's to die for.
Chandni Uthappa N
So taste is good, they have chunks of fruits in their ice creams ..place is small n has cute colourful seatings too...tried their apple pie , mango n Seethaphal ....Taste is okay..but the quantity wt u receive is so very small for the price ..doesn’t feel worth...
Okay, not like corner house stuffs for sure...really felt the quality should be a lil more.
Karan Sachdev
I ordered for the first time but find that I must ordered it before it good than many of the outlets I have tried.
Ankush Arora
Very tiny quantity for the price changed. Offline they have much better quantity. Almost three times of what we got at home. Never order online from this place. They will cheat you.
Dipangshu Das
They delete reviews when they behave bad with you & you give your opinion. not only that, they call you from different numbers & threaten you. Now, they will delete this review as well, however, this time i am going to go twitter along with proof.
The Craving Soul
I was planning to visit this ice cream parlor for a long time. Once our gang attempted to visit this place, but our bad luck it was closed for some renovation. Finally, we got a chance to do a short visit to this outlet in the afternoon.

It's a tiny ice cream parlor. Compare to other ice cream parlors; you won't find any seating or colorful menu here. Just choose your flavors from the photostat copy.

We took a few of their signature samples, and everything tastes ok. Pabrai's promote Nalen Gur excessively in social media. So we order it n turned out bland.

When you visit an ice cream parlor, you except a colorful and tempting presentation of the icecreams. That was missing in this outlet. They served the ice cream in a tiny paper cup with one small plastic spoon. Somehow we manage to finish the ice cream and left the place.

Overall it turned out an average ice cream parlor. I can say Pabrai made some hype about its Nalen Gur flavor. In reality, its taste bland. You may not like to do a revisit in this shop. Even their price not justifying the taste, presentation, quantity, and quality.

Ambiance: 1/5
Presentation: 1/5
Service: 1.5/5
Food: 2.5/5
VFM: 2.5/5
The Veggie Pooja
A very small cozy place, with lot of flavour options, tried a few, loved the paan flavoured ice cream, the lady who was there at the outlet was really humble and sweet.
Though they have so many natural flavours, not worth for the price..was surprised to see that it's costlier than corner house, which was a bit 🙄😒 for us...
Tuhieats
A small ice cream joint is a power House of natural flavor ice cream. I am a fan of this brand. The quality of ice cream is superb and also very reasonable. My all time favorite is nolen gurer ice cream ( jaggery flavor). Must try this everyone.
Anshu Priya
Pabrais has a small outlet in the basement on 27th Main. Its close to Printo. Love their coffee and paan flavour. One of the best natural flavour ice creams around. Price a bit on higher side else everything is perfect
Amrita A Choudhury
I love ice cream but this natural ice creams are my favorite. I have tried chiku, anjeer, nal nd gud their famous one. Everyone must try. It has flavors of Bengal. I loved chiku and nal & gud.
Abha Jhunjhunwala
A small hole in the wall basement ice cream joint that serves amazing flavours. I had their best pabrai Nolen gur, mascorpane with candied fruits and chocolate brownie ice cream. Loved the flavours. The servers were friendly and very good.

Definitely coming back.
Deblina
Visited this store for my favourite Nalen gur ice cream, loved the authentic taste, flavour and quality they give! This place has a small seating capacity and a bit tricky to find out...but you can order any time though zomato!
Munmun Sarkar
This place is a hidden gem. Very difficult to locate without a map. Do not expect anything fancy and they have a very small seating space which can accomodate hardly 10 people. Coming to the ixe creams, they have so many different varieties which are simply lip smacking. My favorite is their nolen gurer ice cream and they serve it with extra nolen gur. Other which I liked from this place are coconut ice cream, sitaphal ice cream, pan ice cream, chandan ice cream and kesar malai ice cream. Though I felt the price should have been a little less compared to the quantity served and almost zero ambience. But still will visit again.
Aditi
Google maps does not take you right upto this place and since this is located at the basement , it can be quite confusing to find your way here. I have been here twice and both the times, I had to make an effort to spot it.
Coming to the ice creams, without a doubt their flavours are very unique and taste exactly what they say it would.
Good place to drop by and enjoy some awesome ice cream flavours.
Hema Gayatri
All love the vast variety of yummy natural ice cream served at pabrai. My personal favorites are pan ice cream, filter coffee ice cream and orange basil.
U would be shocked to see unique flavors here
Dyuthi Balakrishna
Super exotic flavors like sandalwood and Gandharaj lemon, which isn't available anywhere else.

The shop is a tiny place, so sometimes you won't get a seat.
Aritra
Went there to eat my favourite nalen gurer ice cream. Just come to know this is available here. It’s very tough to find out the shop as it is down floor. Somehow went there. But it is really tasty. I can’t imagine that I can get it here which is also tasty. Really enjoyable.
Praveen D
Different from the rest, they have some funny flavors like nalen gur ( palm jaggery) basil orange, paan and other combinations of ice cream.
They claim to be natural and fresh, well i am not sure.
Well they are from Kolkata and they are in a cellar area in hsr layout. Very little space to sit.
Taste is good on few flavors and few is poor.

Mayur Pandey
Went here on a Saturday night after having dinner elsewhere. This place is not very easy to find as google map points to some location 100 metres away from the actual location.

They hv many different flavours of Ice cream and they claim the flavours are natural.

Particularly liked the naleni gur flavour and mascarpone cheese flavour. There is one lemon flavour which was quite zesty.

The seating space is very limited here so if you want to hv a conversation over ice cream this is not the right place.

The prices are decent and range from 79 to 129 INR.

Sujith Kumar
It was my 1st Visit to Pabrai’s fresh and Naturelle Icecreams.
Was suggested by friends to have Nalen Gur flavour. One of the best flavours i have had, which is made of jaggery and coconut.
Want to try some other flavours too.
Its a small outlet with 10 people seating.
Saapna Jhawer Soni
Well the staff is quite helpful and explains the flavours well and you get to try out as many as you want.

Highly recommended are still the Parbai nolen gur and chandan flavours.

Very happy to finish good with such amazing icecreams..
Stejvinay
Located in quite basement of busy 27th main they server unique natural varieties of ice cream.. the jaggery paan n rose petals are some thing i really felt wow!

small place and good for quick bite of ice cream and late nights u get to taste many varieties if u r new comer.. staff serves tasting without hesitation
Sukhas Shenoi
This is a review for the cleanliness of the place- which has become very bad .Question to owner : do you want to close this place soon? Whole area looks shabby ... saw even a Cockroach..
Asheesh Kumar
Ice cream flavors are nice but sitting arrangement is very small, max 8 people can sit. But the flavors are little different and has nice aroma too. Worth visiting, will come again
Sidhu
The worst ever choice made is to visit this place. The ice creams are not that great. Nothing out of ordinary. Nothing special about the flavors. And personally I feel the cost is way too much on the higher side for the quality, quantity, taste and hygiene of the shop. In my personal opinion this is just an over rated place.
CS
Do 1 thing and do it well! Love their nalen gur ice cream. It is that neighborhood shop to answer your gur ice cream cravings every now and then
Sourav Guru
I have tried only the nalen gur flavour and this place deserves a 5 for that. I would recommend people to try out this flavour if you visit this place.
Gowrishankar Ganesamurthy
Tried the Nalen Gur and Chandan is ice creams here. I was blown away, they tasted heavenly and just awesome. Will be ordering family packs hence forth.
Amit Shrotri
We tried their alphonso mango and tender coconut ice-cream, tender coconut was good but aphonso didn't had a mango flavour. Staff was warm and welcoming.
Anantha Padmanaban
great place. easily one of the best tasty ice creams. definitely the seating place needs improvement. but easily the taste ice cream over whelms everything else. i liked the tender coconut flavour especially
Faheem U
Best ice-cream in the city if you are the lover of natural flavors. I think this much better than naturals. There is small place to sit also, it can occupy around 10people
Gaurav Deep
their specialty nalen gur is vry good... its worth trying..
kesar rabri malai.. is also awesome .. if someone likes kulfi flavor then they will love it..
the other one i tried was something like lemon.. that was just ok ok..

other details:
sitting space is very less
parking on road
friendly staff
many options of flavour
bulk purchase option available..

Arun Alagappan
Good natural icecreams and yea try nalen gur. We tried sitapal, paan and nalen gur. Sitapal is normal. Paan is good if you are a fan of paan its a must try
Spriha Gupta
You know the ice-creams are great when u make a persom review a place after 1 year.U know the ice-creams are amazing when a non ice-cream eater falls in love with an ice-cream parlour.
This place is worth the effort that u r going to put in coming here.Just a tad expensive
Dileep Kumar Patchigolla
Tried their famous nolen gur ice cream.. It was amazing.. They have a lot of other interesting flavors as well. I am planning to visit them again to try those as well. The place itself is very small and you wouldn't think it would have such amazing ice creams by the looks of the outlet.
Amit Aggarwal(myquest4food)
Location 3/5 Ambiance 3/5 Taste 3.5/5 Value for money 3/5

Pabrai is one of those places which is hyped up out of proportion. It took me 2 trips to this place to find this restaurant. Even google map couldn't help me out. So all those who want to go there its on 27th main under Pai International near Printo.

It is a small place with 2 tables and self-service to pick your ice cream. I went with their special nolen-gur which I found quite average. Indeed it had a different taste to it but I didn't find it outstanding. Overall experience of having a nice ice-cream in a relaxed atmosphere was missing. I won't be visiting it again and won't recommend to friends and family.
Nivedita Roy
Based on the zomato ratings I thought of giving this place a shot. Its a small outlet in basement on 27th road. Not very fancy decor, minimal seat arrangement with few seats and two coolers installed. Staff is amicable and service wise its pretty fast. Now coming to the various options available here, you will be surprised to see some unique flavors with extra ordinary taste. Nalen Gur ice cream is the best and is to die for. Authentic nalen gur syrup on the top makes it taste out of the world and is a must try. I have also tried Shahi kesar Pista & Keseria Rabri malai which is again very yummy with loads of dry fruit in it. Orange Basil flavor is very fresh with nice herbs in it and so is the tender cocunut in taste. Overall an excellent quality ice cream with lots of unique flavors and a must visit .
Swarn
Gut a chance to taste their ice cream during on of the Durga Pooja Pandal and their range of products prompted me to visit their store. Once of he finest craft of creating Nollen Gur Ice cream - it's an ice cream lovers delight. A must try ...awesome is the word

I am going to start off this blog with a little info on a particular type of jaggery called ‘Nolen gur’. It is also known as ‘Notun (new/fresh) gur(jaggery)’ or ‘Khejur (date palm, not to be confused with palmyra tree) gur’ and is prepared only in winters. It is available in semisolid state when freshly prepared, and also sold in its solidified form as circular/oval disks called ‘Patali(vaguely translates to solid disk) gur’.
Bhagyashree Puranik
Great natural flavoured ice creams! These are very unique and different from the regular ones..
They have quirky flavours like Gur, gandharaj lemon, Chandan, paan, etc that one wouldn't find in a regular ice cream shop...
I've tried the gandharaj lemon, rose sandesh, nalen Gur, salted caramel and many more which are all good. Absolutely loved the rose! Worth visiting sometime..
Only down side to this place is that there is not much of seating arrangement and one would actually tend to miss this shop while passing by!
Girlnextdoor Girlnextdoor
Awesome, awesome ice creams here! We've tried out almost all of the flavours at this place, and loved most of them. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality and taste totally justify them.

Our favourite flavours here are South Indian Filter Coffee, Paan, Chocolate Orange, Belgian Chocolate and, of course, their signature Nolen Gur!
Sandipan Ghosh
Not a very big outlet and even hard to find :D, the store is located opposite to "people" showroom in HSR. A small store with a lot of varieties of ice cream. Went 2 days in row just for there Nalen Gur and Pan flavored icecream. Must say both the flavors were awesome with plus point Nalen Gur ice cream comes with a drizzle of Nalen Gur :) . But a small negative point i.e single scoop wise I felt the price is little high after gst but if you go for bucket then the price is Ok.
Balasubramanian
This has to be in the bucket list of everyone. The flavors feel original and pure. The shop itself is in a basement. A small place. The price is a bit on the higher end as well. But taste of the ice creams compensates for everything. Nalen gur is of course it's flagship. But other flavors are not to be missed. They have sugar free rose flavor unlike most ice cream shops who has just vanilla that comes in sugar free.

Ashjini
Loaded with artificial colors. They are running a fraud!

Have worked briefly in the ice-cream and frozen desserts industry and can tell a thing or 2 about ice-creams.

They are selling just commercial bought products as "fresh and natural".

On the taste, the ice-cream is not creamy at all, is very "dry".

Basic ice-cream, bought from Amul/Mother's Dairy is much much better.
Arjun KT
Nolen Gur icecream is awesome.
Would suggest taking the half liter home and share if you are more than 4 people . (Quantity is much more and price less)
Kiran Kaveriappa
Overrated. They have some unique flavors. But ambience nothing to mention about. Place does not seem hygienic nor match their price.rather would say overpriced ice creams.
Rishabh Chhajer
Had an amazing nelan gur, pan and tender coconut with friends .

Taste was so different and great.i found it better than naturals .

Would like to visit again.
Lakshman S
Nalen Gur ice cream.. wowwww yummmy so tasty.. juz went there for this single scoop of ice cream. Ice cream made of dates flavour and the syrup poured in ice cream with jaggery flavour.. 😜😜😜😜
Ashish Prabhakar
Have ordered from this place couple of times but have never visited. I must say i have become a great fan of their ice creams especially the chocolate vanilla mix 👍🏻
Nirmal
This is my favorite ice cream parlour. The HSR one is on the lower ground floor(easy to miss) of Pai electronics building. They have a small place with few chairs of seating arrangement.

They specialize in making ice cream from natural ingredients like mango pieces, beetel leaves, coconut extract etc. This not only gives a distinct flavor to their ice creams but also makes them extremely delicious. I have tasted almost all but top recommendations would be Nalen Gur, Pan shot, tender coconut and choco chip. Grossly unknown in my view when compared with their quality of ice cream offerings.
Chanchal Jetha
Nolen gur is a must try here. You cannot just have one ice cream over here because the flavors are so exotic and they have taken creativity seriously.
Must visit irrespective of whether you love ice creams or not.
Rohit S Kothawade
One of the best icecreams I have tasted in Bangalore. the flavors are very authentic & they give you a taste of all flavors so that you can decide what you would like to order!
The pan icecreamis lovely & so is malai rabdi.
The only reason for giving a 4.5 rating & not 5.0 is that they should increase the quantity of icecream they serve!
Sumeet Poojary
One of the best ice cream parlour in Bangalore. One of my friend introduced me to this place and then I introduced it to two of my friends, and hope this might go on...
One of the favorite was Nalen Gur( a specialty of Bengal), other I have tried is Paan flavor(this was also good)
Shrinivas Devshatwar
1. Service is amazing. They will ask you to taste every ice-cream and then choose. Tasting session will go from light to dark tastes!
2. Ice-creams are great and truly natural flavor. You will find sandal, paan masala, basil only here.
3. We had sandal and trademark Nolen gur which are must try!
Shikha Malhotra Taneja
Awesome variety and taste of ice creams. The Alphonso Mango and coconut were really good. We also tasted couple of others like coffee, lemon, paan etc. All were really fresh and packed with flavors which they say are 100% natural and not artificial food flavors.
Sagar Dashora
Icecream being my dessert of choice, I am always on the lookout to try new joints and flavours. With chocolates and vanilla being a thing of past for me, I love it when I find an icecream parlor with unorthodox flavors, and Pabrai's just hits the sweetest spot in that. I have tried a handful of flavours so far -
Paan: blast in your mouth, such a strong flavour. Keep it for the end if u want to try other varieties. Chandan: nice and soothing, i guess they use sandlewood oil and its tasts and smells so real. Orange basil : quite a unique taste..not bad at all. Infact my favourite alongwith chandan. Rose : good one, but not so impressive as compared to other flavours I tried.
Yet to try nolen gur and gandhraj lemon on top of my list... Whenever I pass this little shop, I scream, I scream, I always scream Icecream !! :)
Mayank Kumar
Excellent ice-cream parlor in the heart of city. You can taste multiple new flavors and then decide on which one to take.. Nalen gur is a must try flavor. Courteous staffs. Value for money.
Petu Shilps
Superb find, away from the hustle and bustle of hsr layout. Add to it the ever smiling, patient and pleasant Mr. Vijay who made (yes he is superconfident to bowl you over) us try almost all flavors. The Gandharaj lemon, rose, nolen gur, strawberry were most striking and eaten by us. Prices start at rs53 and premium flavours 79-86-99 inr. Coffee fans will like filter coffee ice cream. Limited seating is available and coolers are placed strategically around so you won't feel the summer heat. The small shop is in the basement and is easy to miss, keep an eye out for the MR complex. You won't regret the calories with these creamy ice creams.
Satish Kumar
One more gem ice cream shop.
Stumbled this one by chance. They have the most exotic flavors and combinations you can imagine.
Chandan, Orange Basil, Rose Sandesh, Rose, Paan etc. Their connoisseur flavor is Nalen gur, really great tasting ice cream.
Do try Lemon Gandharaj, a citric flavored, the best part is the smooth texture you feel when you taste.
The staff are very friendly, they are so patient allowing one to taste every flavor.

Must visit for every ice cream lover
Niyati Upadhyay
Awesome flavours, really good collection, so pure and natural ingredients. I just love the sandalwood ice cream. Highly recommended 😊
Coffee , vanilla , rose , seasonal fruits ice cream are also great. It's a must go place if you are ice cream lover, it is a bucket list place.
Bala
I've been going to this place for the last 2 years. Mr. Janaki Raman is by far the most professional and courteous and friendly person I've ever come across. I've tasted pretty much every flavor there is to offer. Nalen Gur is the showstopper of this place and everyone has to definitely try it out. I continue going to this place and will recommend anyone and everyone in Bangalore to try Pabrai and all of their delicious natural ice cream flavors.
Rohit Jhunjhunwala
located in the basement of a building in the main road, space is at a premium. 2 4-seaters makes up the sitting space. However, come here only for the ice-cream. We had the famous paan flavoured ice-cream and the anjeer one. Both were delicious and tasted very much like the real stuff. A bit pricey for the quantity but I think it allows them to offer the lesser selling varieties at a good quality.
Paridhi Gupta
Wen you say a small but sweeeeet place then this place strikes well. All the flavours i tried were good but my favourite was malai rabri flavour. The place is small but enough to tantalise ur sweet tooth. From my side a thumbs up !!!
Janardhan Reddy A
We had couple of ice creams here. It's not that much great as we expected.. (may be our expectations were more after seeing rating here :))... We felt it's more costly.. comparing with taste & quantity...
Priyanka Bose
Ever had a sandalwood (chandan) flavoured ice cream? No? Leave everything else and head to this crazy ice cream parlour to fulfil all your weirdest ice cream fantasies! By the way, the chandan flavoured ice cream is done with the sandalwood oil and the moment you taste, you get to know that. Its really there and not some gimmick!
Think of the most unusual flavours and you will find them all here. And me being a Bengali, my ultimate favourites include the Nolen Gur (with that extra drizzle of molten nolen gur on top, I wish to die eating this and only this one day!) and Gondhoraj Lemon (its almost cute how this one's done so fabulously and trust me my gang could see that on my face, eyes and the entire body language!). In addition to these, this is the only place till now where the South Indian Filter Coffee flavour was just my type of coffee turned into an ice cream - strong and intense! This alongwith the Rose flavour is also available in Sugarfree options - what more can you ask for! Also, I can't even begin to praise the Wasabi flavour that these guys offer - this is the closest you can get to tasting the actual pungency of the wasabi root in India, and that too in a dessert! Not to forget the Paan flavour totally nailing in all senses and just for some extra info - they also have seasonal fruits and I definitely wish to taste the Falsa flavour next time! And then you've got other amazing ones like Orange and Basil, Apple Pie (better than the original dessert!), Mascarpone Cheese and Candied Fruits, Natural Vanilla (move over the ones done with the essence!) and the popular ones in a never-ending list!

Ice creams were never better! Way to go guys! :)

P.S. -
When here, do make it a point to try each and every flavour before settling down for your choice of cup/cone. The server will be as happy as you will be in experiencing the burst of unique flavours!

I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU GUYS!
Bhagyashree Keshava
Today I got a I pack of tender coconut ice-cream from this store. The ice-cream had way too much of sugar than tasting natural tender coconut taste, which was very bad. In the name of natural ice cream I got a pack of fully loaded sugar cream.
Prateek Tiwari
Pan flavor is awesome and very refreshing. Other flavors are also good and I personally prefer it over naturals.
But I'd say it is slightly over priced. Actually prices are okay its the VAT and Packing charges which really pisses me off.

I mean 25/- packing charge is way too much for a family pack ice-cream. Please do something about it, its not good for long term if family pack worth ~300 becomes ~400 due to VAT/Packing charges.
Vivek Vidyarathi
Been to this place numerous times for their product. Recently got an experience of their aweful Customer service which has hit the abyss. Bought their Nalen Gur half kg pack which i opened after a week only to see it has already went bad. Their expiry is Dec 2017 but I doubt on their whole quality control.
When I called and complained the guy promised to get back. I followed up after couple of hour to which he simply said he doesn't care about what happened to brick of nalen gur and what one customer thinks.
So its bye bye pabrai's for me. @
Never saw their pt of exotic varieties anyways and five star pricing in a basement garage.
Crazy4Food
Very good collection of natural flavours and totally different than others. The best one I had is sandal wood flavour ; can not imagine there can be ice creams out of sandal wood taste.
Vinay Kulkarni
One can easily miss this place located in the basement of a building on a busy 27th Main of HSR Layout. However, when you do happen to notice it and visit it - be rest assured that you will not be disappointed.

Small and cozily snuck between the stairs in the basement corner, Pabrai's offers natural ice creams that are nothing but delight. We tried a variety of flavours with Paan, Muskmelon, Nalen Gur among them. We were left wanting for more. Ended up taking a half litre Nalen Gur pack as well. Nalen Gur is a specialty here and a must for those of you stepping in. Do not miss out.

Recommended!
Happy Gourmands
You scream, I scream, we all scream Ice Cream!!!

Indeed, the natural taste & aroma of these uniquely flavored ice-creams makes you awe and scream for more! Its become my regular go to joint now. Fresh, flavourful & creamy texture is the USP of this joint from Kolkata.
I tried Gandharaj lemon(that aroma), Tender coconut(those coconut shreds), nalen gur(that liquid jaggery on top), kesariya malai rabdi(that kesar taste), mascarpone cheese & candied fruits(that cheesy flavour) and paan(that refreshing paan masala).

To satiate your cravings for ice cream, this is the perfect place as they have one flavour for each tongue.

Ambience: small seating arrangement
Hospitality: courteous staff
Overall experience: Fabulous, do try! Pabrai's Fresh & Naturelle

I went with my friends last weekend. Firstly we planned to have 2 flavours for 4 people. After reaching there we ordered 4 scoops. Ice - cream is so tasty here.

People who are working there also good they're allowing us to taste and choose which flavours we want.

There own favours Pabrai Nalen Gur is very delicious 😋.
Priyam Pai
Ordered many ice creams in one go. Paan. Chandan. Musk melon. Rose. Caramel crunch. Mascarpone with fruits. Orange with basil. Lemon. The caramello crunch was the best .. overall quality of ice creams was really creamy and good
Jayanthi MK
Though a little expensive, you forget about the price once you taste their specialty flavor "Nalen Gur". It is a must try. Special appreciation to the staff who was very helpful and made us taste every flavor. Little downside is the ambiance (if you are looking for it); but then, who cares if you need a quick stop-over for a yummy icecream.
Shobhit Mohan
Great variety of flavors with a nice topping of excellent service.

I have been here several times and never left disappointed. The paan and rabri flavors are my favorites but they are very generous and you can pretty much taste all 20 flavors before picking yours!
Andal Sindhu
Nice small shop quite difficult to locate by
They have different varieties and flavours of ice cream but I feel they are little over rated for 3 scoops we had
Lajbanti Banerjee
I was introduced to this place by a friend. People just might overlook this small corner but it serves a burst of flavourful natural ice creams. The staffs are also very well mannared. They made us taste every flavours present there.
Firstly we tasted tender coconut and its among the top flavours. It is so creamy and natural that it will melt your heart.
Among the other flavours I will suggest sandal wood, pan, vanilla made with real vanilla pod, Gandharaj Lemon, South Indian Coffee which has a rich creamy coffee taste, Rose SF, Cheese and fruits, Sitaphal and a must try is Bengali Nalen Gur - with liquid jaggery on top.

Located on a busy street in hsr layout..its easy to miss this shop...but not when you have tasted their flavours once.I love the whole naturelle concept and the flavours are unique, quite distinct and intense. The nolen gur has to be the favourite...being a bong it satisfies my sweet tooth along with a brain freeze which is amazing. The tender coconut also is very good...subtle but distinct flavour. The filter coffee and ofcourse the pan is among favourites.Nominal pricing and a cosy little place to hang out.Thank you Pabrai's...thank you for existing!

They are a serious threat to Naturals ice cream and personally I liked their flavours better than Naturals.

Just after HSR police station it is very easy to miss them since they have a small outlet and that too it is somewhat in the basement level.

The staff is super friendly and will help you out to choose your favourite flavour. We were 5 of us and I guess we tried almost all of them. Their trademark is the Nalen Gur which they serve with a special jaggery which is made in Kolkata!
We all tried different flavours (I don't remember tha names) and none of them disappointed.
Their seasonal flavours is something I'm looking forward to!
Average cost for a scoop is 100/-
Recommended.

Friendly staff, awesome taste. Eat Nalen gar, I bet you will get addicted to it. They do accept orders for party. All the other flavours are equally good...!!

Nolen Gur ice cream is a rare delicacy Bengalis look forward to and it was a pleasant surprise when I ran into this place. It's a pretty small joint which you might miss but once you get there, the staff is more than friendly at providing service. We were offered a taste of practically all flavours before we actually chose a scoop. I had a taste of the nolen Gur,toffee and pan ice cream and I must admit they were all rather enjoyable. No complaints whatsoever

This is a small place in the basement. So be careful because you're sure to miss it out. If you're an ice cream lover, go grab their jaggery flavour and thank me later. Highly recommended.

Pabrai’s was on my wish-list for quite some time now, and so I and hubby reached the nearest outlet of Pabrai’s, which is in HSR Layout. The Outlet is a tiny one, but has outdoor sitting arrangement for 5-10 people.

This is the first 5 star I have given to any food place. These ice creams are the best natural food items. Tender coconut and the paan flavors are my fav but you can try any of these and be prepared to fall in love with these forever. Can't eat other ice creams anymore!

Rich and fresh, this place serves a variety of ice creams. Most of the flavours, like coconut etc. contain pieces of the fruits which taste fresh. There is a perfect balance of sweetness in Nolengur ice-cream, a personal favourite of mine, and nostalgically appealing to Bengalis

One of the best Ice cream places. I am a huge huge fan of their Nalen Gur and Mascrapone Cheese Ice creams...Lip Smacking Delicious. These two are a must try. Other than Nalen Gur and Mascrapone Cheese I also love their Sitapal Ice cream. A bit overpriced but worth every penny.

This place is very small set in a basement with limited seats so I would recommend to order from this place and relish their amazing Ice creams at home.

I had gone for an evening snack. I had Chocolate Hazelnut icecream and Pabrai Nalen Gur icecream. The Nalen Gur icecream is made of date palm jaggery and it was really good.

Their ice creams are delicious. Many exotic flavors like nalen gur, south indian coffee etc make the experience more than having an ordinary ice cream. I however have one feedback. I had their ice creams twice and in both occasions I had ordered online. By the time they reach my place, they are half way towards transforming into milk shakes. They need to do something about the packaging or have a better delivery system.

Amazing ice creams. All natural flavors. We really liked the taste.
Must try. You will never feel like trying any other brands after tasting these.

All the flavors here were amazing. Definitely worth a visit and you will not be disappointed. They have a good variety of unconventional flavors as well.

Very good icecreams. Kudos to the person at the counter who was extremely courteous and provided us with multiple flavors to taste! The ice cream itself was delicious, a tad over priced though. Must visit for authentic flavorful ice creams.

Have been here n times and can't get enough of their best flavour "Nalen gur"... It's our favourite dessert stop on way home... It's a small cosy and people might easily overlook it.. Definitely a must visit... And Ram will have all the patience to ensure you taste all their new flavors...

I ordered via swiggy with a lot of expectations but this place really disappointed me.

Quality was very less when compared to price paid

Vanilla ice cream was of really bad quality.
Rose ice cream - I am tasting it for the for the first time and I didn't like the taste
Anjeer - it was good. Only thing which was like value for money

Nostalgia in every spoonful. While the Nolen gur ice cream from this place is already much sung about, loved the Paan and tender coconut flavours a lot. A must visit in the list.
