Review Anand Sweets & Savouries - Bengaluru

SK ROY
One of the best quality sweet shop chains in Bangalore. If you wanted to try out some delicious sweets then this place is heaven. They have a variety of sweets options. Apart from that you can enjoy amazing chaats, paw bhaji etc. The most amazing part is the behaviour of the staff, they were very welcoming and friendly.

This is a great place for best Sweets and Savoury items! And lots of Quick eats tasty and well maintained hygienic outlet!
Mifzala Ansar
Very good sweets and fresh. Always been a regular customer at the Kammanahlli branch. Thanks for the service to all of them , special mention to Amit Yadav cashier sir for his hospitality and service .

If you wanna have good quality chaat this is the place and plus I recommend Paneer dhokla🍽. My friend who doesn’t like chaat after bringing him to this place he’s now chaat fan. But when we arrived there and sat on the Chair the table was not clean just look out for that ........and what else Rasmalai was so tasty 😋 pretty good feeling. Recommending not to have too much sweet sweets and chaats(chaat which have dehi with sweet syrup kinda thing) it becomes little weird. Overall Experience was definitely good (not great) chaat are awesome should come with friends and family.

Bought Mysore pak from this shop.. Taste was awesome but its costly. Tried some Namkins and milk items as well..But taste was not satisfying.
Navneet Singh
Probably the best sweets chain in Bangalore. Their Mysore Pak is the best that you can get in Bangalore. Much better than other local or old/famous Bangalore sweet shops. All their chats are amazing too.
Deepanshu Sharma
One of the best sweet shops of Bangalore. I really love their motichoor laddu and other sweets are also above average. I like their savouries and cookies as well and it's my go to place for fresh malai paneer. Though people love their north Indian chaats i find them average.
Robert Leslee
Always loved the sweets and savouries from Anand. This time I went particularly for their Chole bhature and they didn't disappoint. They are certainly a bit pricier than the places around but it's worth it. Definitely a must visit when in the area.
3A ARCHITECTS INC
One of the oldest Savories. Still same taste like how it was in 2002 :). In comparison to other sweet shops, atmosphere here was good. #interiors including, Display, weighing, Billing and packing space is well designed.

It was absolutely fantastic experience with Anand Sweets for Dussehra. Their quality of sweets and dry fruits is fantabulous and sought after treats for palette. Amit Yadav, Cashier, from Kammanahalli was highly commendable in his service. Really appreciate this store for all that they do
Pradeep Pushkar
Anand sweets is one of the best sweet shops in town, though expensive their taste and quality is good.

Visited their outlet just after lockdown to feel tge taste of Aaloo Tikki at night. Their tikki was too crispy and delhi style. We asked them to make delhi style dahi chaat. Also, bought their Badal Sticks box, must try. For my corporate redemption, I ordered few more items like Badam Lachha, Khara Boondi, Kaju roll, kaju katli, Salted & pepper kaju nuts, kalaakand. It costed me around 1500. Quiet expensive but worth it. We also ordered Dhokla, Rasmali and Rasgulla. Drooling experience, their sweets are actually dilli style. The only disappointment was their Kalaakand and Khara Boondi. Kalaakand too dried and Boondi quiet south india style with lot of spices.

One of the best sweet and namkin shop in town with good quality of sweets.Expensive
Follow my page on insta @foods_stops_

Highest quality, amazing delicacies, I have tried almost every dish here especially badam halwa is my personal favourite. But the prices are a bit high. Hope they give good offers to regular customers.
Shantanu Puranik
Good place with lot of varieties in sweets and chats. Totally loved the sandwich dhokla and masala puri. Gajar ka halwa and gud ras gulla are also worth trying. Overall a nice place with good hygiene.

Absolute no no for dry fruit kachoris.

Recently purchased dry fruit kachori from there with much expectations.Giving 2 star for that only.I recommend none to buy dry fruit kachori from here.I am a fan of dry fruit kachoris(both Gujarati & Rajasthani) and was expecting the kachoris here to be good. However, the dry fruit kachori I got from here was very bland with no tanginess/sweetness/spiciness. The only taste I could get was the overpowering taste of the crust and not the filling.Filling itself was not also no that good.I have had better dry fruit kachoris delivered online via amazon at a cheaper price as well

This is with regards to our visit to Anand Sweets Kalyan Nagar today 4th may saturday. We were a group of 10 people with 3 kids. We ordered chola bhatura and my little one doesnt eat chana so wanted butter. Asked for butter, staff refused and asked to speak with the manager. I haven' t seen a man so rude. He refused saying that we do not supply butter wat do you mean supply??...i didnt ask for tons of butter just needed a bit of it to feed bhatura to my 3 year old.To top it he argued with my husband to an extent that it turned into a fight. Worst customer service, road side dhabas are better with caring for their customer.
I will rate it 0/5 and make sure the word spreads

Home delivered. Chole Bhature was Delhi style, Bhature with pindi chole. Bhaji for Pav was not that good. Packaging was also good. Their Paneer pakoda, Samosa, Dhokla were all good.

This place has quite a variety of sweets on offer but being a Kolkata boy finding that perfect sweet dish always remains a challenge. However, Anand does have some good sweet dishes and some of the ones that I liked were the Motipak, Ajmeri Kalakand and their Balushai. The prices are also not that bad either.

Decent place to grab some sweets from and definitely one of the better choices in Bangalore. 👍🏽
Navaz L.
Clean, well lit and bright! The sweets are good, consistent with the Anand brand! One of my favourite go to places for sweets! The Chana Bathura too is great !
Narasimha Murthy
One of the sweet shops in Bangalore , know for there moti chur laddu , milk mysore pak ghee jalebi and many more variety of sweet as well as chats. do try there milk mysore pak which was the only sweet which was tasty enough and other’s are not upto the mark.
Abizer Hazrat
Nice clean place with good quality sweets, my family loves to snack at Anand and our sweets come from Anand every week. Their boondi laddu and badaamika are out of the world.

A kid on the street was starved and begging, and I took him inside the shop to get him something. I did not even seat him down since I know how people will react (and honestly did not want to hurt the kid more than he already is). So took him in just for a couple of minutes so he can choose what he wants and I get him a parcel. He was all of 11 and was dressed quite decently than most street kids I’ve seen. Guess what? He was asked to get out because according to the manager, he was a kachara. I wish I knew your name Sir, just to tell you that when you have so much filth in your heart, nothing from the outside can make it any dirtier than it already is. All the sweets you have in your shop put together cannot even neutralise your sour and bitter heart and mind! Thank you for helping me understand how Big Chicken, your humble neighbor with a heart as big as the name, allowed us to sit right there and enjoy a meal. Get well soon, SIR!

Been to this store many times but decided to write a review after today's visit.

Sweets: Nice are the ladoos and the rasmalai. Has the Punjabi lassi which was thick and good. The badam / pista biscuits are pretty good. Nice and crisp.

Ambiance: Pretty standard.

Service Good. #foodie Puneet Suri

Very bad customer service at the cash counter very rude behaviour and impolite staff in the counter. Had a good service at Sarjapura store where the staff was welcoming.

This is the best place where i would love to have a quick evening bite. From Sweets to Snacks they have got everything covered. Madka Rabdi, Kachori Chat & Bakarwadi is my all time favorite. The best thing about this is that, it's always kept neat and tidy. Yes you heard me right.. This place doesn't stink. Thanks for being outstanding.

Went to this place to fill my craving for chole Bhatura. As this was on of few places serving chole bhatura in my area. The place is small but neat and clean. The chole bhatura was good but chole quantity was quite less. Tried chori chat which lacked a bit of balance of spices and flavors. Gulab Janum was good but the baadam milk was was not worth the cost.

In all a small place to try chats and bite food once in a while
Arundhati S Shanbhag
Anand has great chats and sweets. The Lachha Tokri, Pani Puri, Pav Bhaji are delicious. The Chole Bhatura is spicy and rich in flavour. The Bhature are soft inside and crispy on top.

Also, the Badamika, pistamika and Chocomika are delicious biscuity sticks. They are available in boxes and definitely worth trying.

We were here to have some chaats and we ordered masala puri, bhel puri and mixed chaat. Was a little disappointed as kachori chaat and samosa chaat was not available.
We didn't quite like the masala puri as it lacked flavour and it was very dry.We mentioned to make it spicy but it didn't seem like they paid attention. Also there was some weird burnt smell..so we had to leave it!
For me my mixed chaat was delectable, with lots of masala, sweet and tangy and topped off with curd. I loved it!
Coming to the bhel puri, it was okay! It lacked the balance of sweet, salty and spicy flavour.
Being a typical South Indian, maybe was the reason why I didn't quite enjoy them.
Tanya Gujral
Being a North Indian I find this place as a twin of Haldiram's, though I would prefer Haldiram any day but being in southern part of India having street like food as good as Delhi or any other place in north India is a big task.

I visit Anand sweets often because of Pav bhaji, cholle bhature and chaat kind of cravings that I get !! This place serves good street style food. Everything that I have ever had from this place has been great -taste wise and quality wise as well. Do try out their Pav bhaji, raj kachori and onion kachori.

The quantity is really good and the prices are also decent for the quality they serve. This place is also famous for its Mysore Pak and the namkeen mixtures that you get.

Anand is been a great place for sweets , snacks and festival savouries....!!!!
Chats prepared here are fresh and tasty .
Ambience is great and hygiene is maintained...
This place is jammed pack on festive seasons .

(Biggest drawback)
Service is pathetic and the guy 2day was serving me Dhokla and was acting as if he is doing some favour for me..
His attitude was heights !!!
And while billing he gave me a wrong parcel containing something else rather than what i needed.

Recommendation:-
Dhokla
Kaju/coconut burfi
Rasgulla
Jamoon
Chats

We picked up some baklava from here as a return gift for guests for a party. The service was very professional and they gave us fresh boxes of baklava packed on the same day, as requested. Paper bags were also included for easier distribution. We also had their excellent chaat instead of lunch, which was delicious and filling as usual. Anand is your go-to place for sweets in Bangalore!

One of the standout places in Kamanhalli.. Very neat and clean place, hygiene and quality control is top notch. The food tastes the same - shows pretty good standardized techniques. I love this place for chats, quick bites and authentic Delhi chats, paronthas and Chole Bhatura. Sweets are too good and so are the namkeens. All in all a perfect place to satisfy chaat taste buds.
Nagesh Kamath
Excellent sweets and savouries. However you pay quite a premium for the quality. The place is kept very neat and that makes it a delight to go to this place.

All this 2.5 is because of their sweets . Chaat s are overhyped and have pathetic taste . Also, Had an upset tummy after eating here . Never again unless for sweets ...
Gunjan Chauhan
As this outlet of Anand sweets is close to my place, i generally go this one whenever i get cravings for chaats and some sweets.. This place has never disappointed me in terms of savouries. My all time favourite is their chole bhature. They are much better than the Haldirams which I used to go in Delhi. I also like their dhokla as it has proper consistency of sugar. Their chaats and sweets are also good. Being a rasmalai lover, i never liked their rasmalai. It lacks in taste and is not the way how it should be. Their motichoor ladoos are always fresh and tasty with pure usage of ghee in it.
Overall, a great place if one is looking for some quick snacks.
Priyank Rastogi
Have been there 2 times. First time bought Rasgulla and Petha, they were OK in taste not great. Second time had Chhola Bhatura. It was good but only thing is it gets suffocated due to small place to sit with Kitchen right behind you. Although AC was keeping the interior cool but there was too much smoke in the seating area, couldn't finish our food and left coz of the smoke. Would suggest take-away rather than seating in.
Akshay Kankanmeli
The overall ambience is really good, the food itself is hygienically prepared and served. Although the chat items do not have that tingling roadside flavour to them, they are more mild and gentle in taste.
The parathas are the highlight of the place, definitely worth a try.
The prices are a bit on the higher side, although the taste and the general experience do account for it.

Been here on my way back after some purchasing at a nearby store. I do not have much of a sweet touch but land up having their rasmalai when passing by. Had their chats and they are pretty good too. This outlet is not as well maintained as their Koramangala branch but still manages to keep us customers happy!
Sharron D'Cruz
This place is my all time favorite. Not as good as the commercial Street one though. The air conditioning is so perfect keeping everything so chilled and nice.

The sweets are my all time favorite. But the cold badam milk, and rasmalai are my most favorites. The chaats are also good. They have a variety of chaats that are really cheap priced. Good quality and taste always.

The place has just 's small seating though.
Vikram Nayak
Great sweets! Their motichoor laddus are amazing and Badamika cookies are addictive. So much so that both my parents and in laws now expect a package when i visit them.

Its okay to indulge your sweet tooth once in a while.Went to the nearby Anand Sweets to try it out.
Checked for Sandesh and its not there for some reason. So,tried an assortment of Mysore pak, Khaju Katli and Mawa Gulkhand roll. They have a counter for chats too.
Recommended for take away!!
Padmini Raju Datla
Am a regular visitor to this outlet. They are more popular for their sweets. But I love to eat the aloo paratha from here. They are really yum. Their dhoklas too are perfect, I should say the best in town. The other must try from this place is their rasmalai.
Pranav Nair
Anand Sweets is one of the most famous places to hog sweets 😂
I love the Mysore Paks they make in pure ghee.
Dropped in for a quick breakfast.
Ordered Coffee, Masala Dosa and Onion Uttappa.
Masala Dosa was pretty huge and nice and Onion Uttappa was great too.
They have a niceee variety of sweets.
Try the Paks they're amazinggg!
Petu Shilps
The service staff is haphazard and try avoiding eye contact and taking orders. The sweets are top notch. This is a small outlet in comparison to bigger anand stores. The savoury items that i have tried on several occasions are kachories, samosas and dhoklas. The chaats are unsatisfactory here. Overspiced and ruined aftertaste.
I visit the store to buy or gift sweets and to indulge in dhoklas and would recommend the same to fellow foodies.
Nitin Hajela (TheFoodieTales.com)
For me , Anand Sweets and Savouries is a synonymous for the premium quality sweets and north Indian street food and chats. Being a north Indian from Rajasthan, the Anand sweets experience for me is unparalleled in the city.
I found the chats here as the best in area. The samosas , the mirchi bada ( pakoda) would entice any chat lover to this place.
For festive occasion, I would recommend the sweets from Anand Sweets and Savouries.
Highly Recommended !!

Yes, It is one of the best sweet shop in the city,
I am a regular visitor. Their quality is good, price is a little bit on the higher side, but that's ok. A must on festive seasons. They serve other north Indian snacks, but I have not tried them.

It is good as well , according to me this place is one of the most hygienic chaat place it is very difficult to find a hygienic place ..
RaĂşl Rao
One of the best place in the city to have a taste of north indian sweets. Hygienic, very clean, chaats are awesome, staff is good. Pappdi chaat is a must try!
Saptarshi Prakash
One of the best places in Bangalore for hygienic and tasty North Indian sweets and savouries. Khaman Dhokla is highly recommended! The Ras Malai served here is definitely a lot better than the one served in A2B. They also have a large variety of gift packs available at reasonable price.
TheFKitchenRulesGuy
If I were to rate the sweet shops for their taste in Kammanahalli, I'd say Anand sweets followed by Kanti sweets.. KC Das.. then there is this other small sweet shop that not many are aware of.. Its called Sweet Moments. They in fact supply a few stuff to KC Das is what I've been told. Its right next to Parivar. And then there is A2B sweets.

My favourite at any Anand sweets store is the cold Badham milk. Nothn like it! :)
Rahul Lavhande
A little distant for me but best place for a north Indian to have his favorite north Indian delicacies. Went here with my friends and ordered Pav Bhaji and it took only 3-4 minutes. And the Pav was roasted well and Bhaji was good. Really loved this place. Would recommend to every north Indian out here in Bangalore.
Dinesh Milo
Love this place for their chola bhaturas , chaats, dhokla ! Love their potato chips ! Fulfills my North Indian food tastebuds ! Small place and sitting space lil less but the food quality fills those points
Pavithra Pasupathi
Aloo tikki chat is something I always head to anand for... Not to mention the black chole bhature...
But i was very disappointed with the kind of parathas they gave. They lacked filling in most pieces. It took way too long to serve 4 parathas n didn't stand up to my expectations. I would like better stuffing( quantity) in my parathas atleast for paying up the sum...
Richard Rajan
Great paneer parathas preety much loved the shredded paneer in them...
Samosa masala chat was yummy till i stopped n found a raisin... Guess was part of the masala.
Packed home some Jangree it was too rich for my liking.
Overall a good place to for some good parathas, not sure if there are many fast food joints around that serves good ones
Staff showed they unhappy with their jobs yelling at each other.
Rohit Bhateja
One of the great places to buy and carry sweets back to your hometown. Best quality, fresh, tasty and amazing variety of sweets. Must visit if in Bengaluru. :D
Gaurav Kumar Gupta
Great place for chola bhatura....it is one of d best in bangalore...n taste of sweets here is very good...overall good place for Indian sweets n snacks.
Pranav Sukhija
So I love this place because it serves suje ke gol gappe, a rare delicacy to find in this part of the country. I also love a particular sweet they sell, the one which has an outer layer made out of Cadbury Dairy Milk. Sweet place. :)

Husband I and two other friends to Comic con one Sunday , and while coming back it was really hot. We were already late for the lunch , and we thought that we wont be gettinganything around this time.

Starting looking at zomato near by , nothing was open. We wereroaming around the area , when we saw anand sweets and all were happy andexcited at the same time . at least we will not go hungry .

I have never eaten at this place, though have eaten loads ofmithais from here . so this was my chance. J
It’s a small place , with a display of mouth watering sweets, A counter to serve the savouries and 23 tables to sit and sit. It was clean though.

Things we ordered :
Khamand dhokla
Gobhi parantha
Chole bhature
Raj kachori
Papri chaat
Samosa
Desserts : jalebi, ras malai , malai sandwhich and I forgotthe name of the best dessert L, They were small rasgullas in rasmalais syrup.

Things I liked :
1.Everything was fresh, made at order.
2. My raj kachori was perfect , the chutneys tasted great.
3. The desserts.. yummmmm . we actually took two two serving of all the desserts mentioned above.
4. Chola bhaturas tasted yummm too.

Things I didn’t like :
Well cant think of any. It was perfect .

Overall , It was amazing . the food was delicious. The dessertswere fantastic .

VFM : all that for around 800 bucks for 4 people. I think itwas a good deal. Definitely recommended.

We went to this place while we were searching for a eatery around this side of the town.

We found Anand sweets and we were happy :)

This is a small cute place but quite clean...

We asked if they serve Chole bhature and they said yes... so here we ordered

2 Chole Bhature

Papdi chaat

Raj kachori

2 plate dhokla

2 Samosa

1 Gobhi parantha

For sweets:

almost 8 pieces of Jalebi

2 Chenna pais

1 Ras malai

1 Malai sandwich

All this for some 650 rs.

So the Chole bhature were good... appetizing - they serve two types of chole, black gravy n orange gravy. They were nice not the best but not bad either.

The Gobhi parantha was big and nicely stuffed... the only taste I didn't like was the oil in which it was cooked... otherwise it was a nice wholesome parantha.

The Papdi chaat and Raj kachori were nice but the curd was little more sour for my taste... again not bag but I have had better.

The Samosas were not that nice again but not that bad as well... same for the Dhoklas.. they were juicy and nice but I will rate the taste as average.

But the star of the meal were desserts - the sweet savories...

Chenna payas was a hit!

Jalebi was quite nice as was the malai sandwich.

Ras malai could be better...

Ambiance : 3 / 5

Food : 3.5 / 5

I will recommend this place for its sweets basically!

Anand Sweets is definitely a go-go for people who love having chaats and try out different variety of sweets..Although it is somewhat expensive, but then the food is worth it..Be it ghewar, or dahi chaat, or parantha, vada pav one is definitely going to be left spellbound at the wide number of food items available..The eatery is well maintained.. There are also snacks available like bhujia, bakarwadi etc, which one can pack and take away..in a nutshell, it is a Snack Time Delight :-)

Didnt know much about the area so hit the place thinking it would be a safe option..
The place turned out to be clean and efficiently managed assuming the franchise is a ex-armyman- well I never enquired but you know it when you see an army or an ex-army man.

We ordered for chola bhatura, gobi paratha n paneer paratha. The chole were good and real pindi channa, bhatura nice and light. Paratha were served with another chola variety and raita. The parathas looked good but were light and very close to home cooked parathas.

Total value for money.

Loved the place and will definitely recommend the same to all friend.

This is my favorite place for chole bhature. Located right on Kammanahalli Main Road near Sansar, Anand Sweets is a relatively small outlet with about 3 tables. In addition to the wide variety of Indian sweets, they also serve chaats and parathas. I go here only for one thing though and that is their chole bhature. The chole is made is so well here. I think they mix palak in it that gives its the dark color and great taste. One plate costs about Rs.60. You should also try out the badam milk here. They also have the option to buy an assorted collection of Indian sweets in really classy boxes. Overall a very good place for a quick snack or for dessert.

I am surprised to see no review for this outlet of Anand Sweets. There is always a sundry crowd enjoying their namkeens and Chats. The place is small yet very well maintained and neat. The sweets of course are tasty like any other Anand Sweet channel and I would present a special mention for all their Cashew Sweets. It would however be appreciated more if they keep a bit more varieties in their Bengali Sweet Section. The Matka Rabdi is brilliant too.

Last time, the cashier got my snacks redone after they fell accidentally during the billing. I was impressed with his courtesy.

Pros: Excellent Cashew Sweets and snacks. Well facilitated staff. Tidy Outlet!

Cons: Like every other Anand Sweet Shops, I find their gift boxes heavily priced.

Recommended – for buying sweets for any occasion! You may pick up your evening tea-snacks from here for a Saturday Evening.
