Review Habibi Falafel - Bengaluru

Sri Krishnan
An excellent place for authentic middle eastern cuisine. Loved that it is a pure vegetarian restaurant chain. We tried the Galafel combo plate - that comes with Falafel, Pita bread , Hummus , French fries and picked carrots. Falafel were perfectly fried. I liked that the staff asked about spice levels. I prefer medium spicy and it was exactly so. Had fresh pomegranate juice and that was delicious. Did not try the Baklava , May be. Next time ! The prices were quite reasonable . Overall authentic food and friendly staff

I went there for the first time. Staff was very courteous and service was good. Food was ok too. Had there been a place to wash hands, I'd be giving a 5 star.

Recently visited this eatery Habibi Falafel! So Habibi is an Arabic word that literally means “my love”. And falafel means a Middle Eastern dish of spiced mashed chickpeas or other pulses formed into balls or fritters and deep-fried, usually eaten with or in pitta bread. Cozy ambience located in the main road less seating capacity but the staffs are good! You have too many options if you want to try these arabic dishes! When it comes to pricing i felt it’s lil expensive. As you hardly find Middle Eastern dishes in blore! Give it a try! I tried the Falafel sandwiches and falafels in Dubai! It was amazing’! But these guys are trying their best to give the same thing!

Habibi Falafel is a small gem of a restaurant that serves up some of the best hummus and bread in town. The hummus is creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, while the bread is always fresh and warm. It's a great spot for a quick lunch or snack, especially if you're in the mood for something healthy and satisfying. Despite its small size, the restaurant has a quiet and nice ambiance that makes it a great place to relax and enjoy your food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure that their customers are well taken care of. Overall, if you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine and appreciate good hummus and bread, Habibi Falafel is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, the ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is top-notch. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this restaurant is a must-try.

Nice place to have middle eastern food.. baklava was amazing.. pita was good. You will enjoy the food if you like middle eastern cuisine. Hummus was very good. Potato wedges was very nice. Only issue was in Google map location is wrong it took to another iconic gym we were confused. I have made edit in the map.

Recently visited this eatery, if you like Lebanese food, this is a place for you! They have a decent variety of veg & vegan options on their menu at a really pocket friendly price. I tried quite a few dishes. Starting with a Falafel roll. I truly loved it, the roll was juicy with a good amount of filling. Next on to Falafel plate, this is a meal in itself with falafel, pita, salad, hummus, pickles and fried potatoes. I really loved their Hummus - so creamy and rich in texture, just perfect Pita chips and dips - crispy baked pita bread served with hummus, baba ganouj and mutabbal. Tasted best with hummus, the other two dips was pretty mild in taste. Falafel Rice platter is also decent, could have been a little better with the rice flavours. Ended the meal on a sweet note with their in house baklava - flaky and not overly sweet The falafel roll, plate & falafel chips are a must try here!

⚠⚠Best Falafel in Bangalore !!!!⚠⚠ 🔹 Ambience - We visited their Kormangla outlet. It's a small cafe-like setting, vibrant in colour and lively ambience. 🔹Food - Habibi Falafel is serving Authentic vegetarian Middle Eastern 🥘 food. Delivering till 3 am!!!! We tried Falafel Roll, Pita Chips 🍟 , Rice Falafel Plate, Falafel Burger and Baklava. Service timing is less, you don't have to wait much after ordering your food. All the food was freshly prepared in front of your eyes and hygiene was maintained by staff. Taste-wise authentic middle eastern food, nothing to complain about. 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅 🔹Customer Service - Friendly people with quick service. All were using gloves 🧤 for proper hygiene. 🔹Price - Pocket pinch 500-600 Rs. For two person. 🔹📍Location - Kormangla , JP nagar, Kammanahalli, Indiranagar 5 outlets are already there in Bangalore. I ate my first ever Baklava here and the taste was great. I ordered the hummus plate which came with 6 Falafels, 6 quarter slices of Pita bread, Hummus, salad and pickled vegetables with a spicy Chutney. Food was great and filling. My friend usually buys the rolls here and those taste great as well!

Ambience 👍- talking about ambience its small but yet cute. The seating space is very less and if it is during lunch time then you definitely have to wait as most seats would be full. So the thing is looks pure wooden ambience and one thing which really surprised me they have kept the high chair and along with that they even have space to keep your leg. Will thought through. Food 👍 - Their food is really good and taste very well. The portion size is too huge and if you are a small tummy person then definitely you would end up eating little. Honestly I wasn't expecting the burger to be good. but when I tried it it was really good. Tried their fresh juice and you can actually feel the freshness in the juice and moreover it's a non milk juice. The sweet called as dadaj is definitely a must try. Overall 👍 - considering the price to quantity this is a amazing place for a quick bite and to fill your stomach at a minimal price or I can say at the cost of one pizza. Walla Habibi

I was always fascinated about middle eastern cuisine. Hence, whenever I get option to try any dish from the cuisine, I am always up for it. We recently visited this outlet at Koramangala. This Arabic veg street food restaurant chain serves 100% authentic middle eastern food that are healthy, freshly prepared in front of your eyes using fresh ingredients. We tried one of their best selling dish, the Falafel plate consisting of falafel, pita khubz (wheat), hummus, salad, pickles and fried potato cubes. The dish was quite filling too. Also, we ordered a dish which sounded very interesting to me, the Pita Chips and Dips. In this platter crispy pita breads served with rich creamy hummus, very popular baba ganouj and mutabbal. Also, I just became a fan of the Baklava. Tried this Turkish dessert for the first time and I'm totally impressed by the taste. It's rich, delectable and the best part is the sweetness isn't overpowering the dish. It's a must try item.

All the served items were unique and had an exquisite taste. Personally i loved the Falafel Burger ,it was nicely filled with veggies and also had a nice cruncy feel to the patty. Being a Bengali Guy i have an inclination towards sweet things. The Baklava Dessert was very unique nothing like i have ever tasted, it was bit crunchy with a soft interior such that the moment you take a bite ,once you cross the upper layer it melts in your mouth, so in simple words i loved it. Ambience was good. It's a nice place to hangout with friends. I also liked the way they handled wastes by proper segregation. Service was very good and the staff was very friendly.

Habibi Falafel have some amazing and delicious Falafel which goes so well with Hummus alongside the Pita bread was so soft and tasty. The pricing is amazing and affordable which will not pinch you at all. This place being an all vegetarian place, yet I love the food so much and I dint miss non veg when I’m in this place. We ordered the Falafel plate which contains of Falafels, hummus, pita, green salad and fried potato, egg plant with accompaniment of some pickled carrot and cucumber, I love love everything about this plate and I have no complaints. The Pita pocket was amazing too. Their mint lemonade was good but the orange juice was too sour for me cause they said it’s raw and as it is without adding any water or sugar to it. The Baklava was decent. This place has only high stools sitting which might be a little uncomfortable for older people or for children to sit but for the youths they don’t mind and love it in actual. I love the fact that the place is very neat, clean and tidy. The staff are very sweet and courteous with a smile always. Can’t wait to visit this place again to eat Hummus, pita and Falafel of course!

Location and Parking: This new restaurant is located in Kormangala 1st Block, right opposite to Roots restaurant. There's a small street next to it, so parking is not a difficulty Ambience: Though it's a fast food kinda place, they've created a classy ambience, all wood with warm lighting. High chairs for seating. Quite comfortable. Open kitchen, u can watch ur food being made. Food: We visited this place on invitation. But this a honest review. We tried Falafel Plate: 10/10. Comprises of fresh n soft Pita Bread, hot and crispy Falalfels, yummy hummus, Potato Harra (fried potatoes sauteed in masalas) and salad. Special mention of Potato Harra, they were really good. Added that extra kick to the platter. Falalfels were fried in front of us, one bite into it n it was a dance of flavors in my mouth. So fresh Falafel Samoon Sandwich: 9/10 Samoon Bread with a spread of hummus, tahini, falalfel, potato , salad. Served with pickles, carrots and chillies. The carrots that they served in the sides were amazing. Really enjoyed them. This Sandwich is huuuuuge. Everything was fresh. Lemonana: 10/10 it was fresh juice with a combination of lemonade and mint. So refreshing and complimented the food well Freshly squeezed Orange Juice: 10/10 it was really fresh and so good Baklava: 'Star of the evening' 10/10. So Baklava is a middle eastern sweet, had always heard of it, this was our first try. It was juicy, filled with nuts, soft and crispy at the same time. Really enjoyed it. Was too good. Such a perfect end to an amazing meal. Every item is made in-house. From the breads to the hummus to the salad to the tahini to the Baklava. Value for Money: The most expensive dish on the menu is 110/-. That itself tells u how pocket friendly this place is. The huge Samoon Sandwich we had is just 70/-. When we spoke to our host, she said Falafel is street food, thus their prices are so cheap. Low on budget, yet wanna try a new cuisine, well u have to go visit 'Habibi Falafel' and did I forget to mention, it's 'Pure Vegetarian' So all u Vegetarians, who've been avoiding middle eastern food outlets till now, can head over to this newly opened restaurant. Staff was friendly and courteous.

There aren’t many Middle eastern eateries in Bangalore, and the long wait ends here, Habibi Falafel, the newest one which serves 100% pure vegetarian Middle eastern dishes. The fresh falafel, Hummus, Pita all are mouthwatering. We tried Falafel Pita pocket- Traditional, Absolutely sumptuous, generous amount of hummus, vegetables along with crisp falafels make this one of the must have dishes here. Next we tried Falafel Fatteh, Hummus, mixed with Pita chips, Croutons, chick peas, garnished with fried cauliflower, Crispy falafel with generous amount of olive oil. Their fresh fruit juice offerings is like icing on the cake, again its 100% fresh natural Juice. One will enjoy the combination of these dishes with fresh juice. In the end we had their dessert offering - Baklava, which was very tasty, good amount of nuts, Beneath the crispy layers, soaked in Sugar syrup & Honey. Food lovers who love, enjoy the Middle eastern, Mediterranean cuisine’s will not miss this, once again I say there not many places which offer these in Bangalore. Their staff is knowledgeable, explains to customers about the dishes. The pricing is light on pocket, which is their another USP. They have simple and short menu, one must make 2-3 visits to have all the items, since the quantity is very good and even a person with good appetite cannot have more than 2-3 different items. I wish them that they continue serving these delectable dishes & hope they expand their reach to other parts of Bengaluru.

Bringing in 100% authentic, vegetarian Middle Eastern street food your way, is Habibi Falafel (falafel, essentially being deep-fried chickpea fritters). They are currently solely operational in Bangalore 🧆 — Their menu includes pita chips (pita being the most popular Middle Eastern bread type), falafel burgers and rolls, a range of good ol’ Middle Eastern dips and breads, a few fresh juices, teas and a couple of Middle Eastern dessert options! 🥮 — I got to sample the following delicacies: 🧆 Pita Chips And Dips - baked pita chips served hummus, baba ganouj and mutabbal (kinds of dips) 🧆 Falafel Plate - falafels, pita khubz, hummus, salad, pickles and potato cubes 🍹Pomegranate juice and Lemonana (mint lemonade juice) ☕️ Black Lemon Tea 🍮 Baklava and Balooza (desserts) — Baklava is a pastry made of chopped nuts and honey, whereas balooza is a milk based pudding topped with nuts. Hummus is made with mashed chickpeas, lemon juice and garlic, baba ganouj is made with cooked eggplants, olive oil and lemon juice, whereas mutabbal is a spicier version of baba ganouj, with tahini added 🍴 — The service is prompt and the pricing is extremely feasible! The ingredients are fresh and this is a great place for a quick bite, especially if you’re inclined towards vegetarian food 🍽 — Currently, Habibi Falafel has 3 outlets in Bangalore - in Indiranagar, Koramangala and Hongasandra 📌 Also available for home delivery on Zomato and Swiggy 🛵

If you love Arabian food you got to try them as they are reasonable and serve quality food. They followed all safety and precautionary measures.
We started off with Baked pita chips and dips combo served with fresh grape juice and lemonade. And Falafal plate and salad which was soo best. The Falafal plate consists of pita khubz and hummus and french fries and Falafal. We also tried their Baklava and Balooza sweet dish which was just amazing.
Also, staff was so good and friendly. Loved the experience.

This weekend I decided to try something new, so I decided to try out some Mediterranean street style food. @habibifalafel is pocket friendly. The combos were value priced and came in good quantities. They followed all safety and precautionary measures too.

It was restaurant's anniversary today and they were kind enough to share the celebration cake with us. We started off with Baked pita chips and dips combo served with freshly squeezed grape juices and lemonade. It was time for the main course. So we ordered falafel plate and salad and trust me it was the best salad I had till date. The falafel plate consists of pita khubz, hummus, french fries, mixed pickels and falafel. The best thing is that it was healthy too. I was really satisfied with the taste.

Now, it was time for some sweet dish. So, I tried out their Baklava and Balooza which was just amazing.

The ambience of the place is quite decent and the staff is courteous and friendly. Completely loved the overall experience. Love the food and Ambiance!

Even their french fries was bad. Really hated it. I had ordered Falafel Pita combo and Pita chips and dips. It costed me around 600rs. What a waste of money. Should have ordered from Leon Grill or had some good biriyani from Venu's. For the first time I regret ordering from a place, that too after watching some youtube video! One of the worst tasteless food I have ever eaten. Only the Baklava had some taste! Please wake up guys. Either step up your game or accept defeat. I have never given such a bad review to anyone after having tasted their food. You guys have forced me to stoop down and say such things.

Hope you guys improve, but I won't be ordering from this place anymore sadly!

Best wishes,
Naren.

•If you love Arabian food you got to try them as they are reasonable and do serve quality food.

•Awesome place if you like Lebanese food. For first timers, it's even better coz you can experiment and decide if you like this cuisine without hurting your pocket. The combos were value priced and good quantity. We started with freshly made Baklava and Pomogranate juice..Sslurp! The falafel plate came with hummus, pita khubbus, potato harra, falafel. Quite filling. The hummus pita plate was devoured in an instant. The dip plate with baba ganoush, mutabbal and pita chips was also good.

•This place has really good Arabian food with decent price. I loveb their falafel served with pita bread. They fill up my tummy and are a healthy start for the day. Their ambience is decent and staffs are quick in service.

Taste:- 5/5
Food:- 5:5
Hygiene:- 5/5

One of my fav places to order from. I'm a sucker for Lebanese food especially hummus and pita. This place serves authentic food which is tasty and flavourful. The falafel meal is very filling and value for money. The salad and sides go well with the whole meal. The package is good too.

We had ordered falafel roll, sub falafel and falafel pita pocket... everything was very tasty and well prepared... highly recommended.. the various options available for vegetarians and vegans is really great...

Ordered a falafel plate via zomato. Turns out the restaurant provides "extra" in the form of dead cockroaches!!! If this is made from scratch as the place advertises then I support canned food anyday.
Bhoomika Gupta
Ordered in from here, I love Lebanese food. Everything in the falafel combo is good and really filling. The only thing a little disappointing was the falafel. They’re hard, they’re not supposed to be that hard. Although, did love the hummus and the pita bread.

While walking along roadisde, the unique name drew our attention towards it. And the taste wasnt that great though probably as it was something new. However, the desert was quite great and the juices were also 100% fresh. Good for a one time visit. Pricing is also good enough.

Food - I just loved the Falafel here. Especially the Humus. I always wanted to try Falafel with Humus and Pita Bread, Trust me! The first time I ordered from here and it was mind-blowing. The blend of Indian spices was fresh and aromatic.
Management - As I ordered it online my reviews will be according to that. The packaging was quite good.
Recommendation - I would recommend all the restaurants to go Ecofriendly and try avoiding wastage of food. Also, segregate the wastes.

I've been hearing about this place for sometime now and finally decided to give it a shot. The falafel wrap was great and it's one of the few places that have so many vegan options to choose from. However, I didn't quite enjoy the baklava, as it was very dry and didn't taste like the one I've had in the Middle East. Definitely going to order the wrap and pita pocket again
Anshuman
Falafel plate is awesome and very filling. Very difficult for one person to finish. Pomegranate juice was fresh and refreshing. All items are very economical. Definitely need to try their other items.
Priyanka Prahladka
I recently took a falafel plate for takeaway. They just handed the transparent box without slipping it in any brown cover or any cover..which is a turn off..They had a carryon brown bag for which they were charging extra apart from the regular parcel charges..they anyways use disposable cutlery for eat in..so if you are not giving a cover why charge? By the way the carry bag had their name printed on it. So as per rules i think they are not allowed to charge for the bag sinc3 they are using it for marketing.
This apart the food is awesome and pocket friendly.
Take away policy was a turn off.
Vignesh J
I went here a couple weeks ago and to say that I’m hooked is an understatement. I find myself eating here almost every second day and at times more than one time in a single day.

The food is delicious. The staff are courteous.
I personally love the way the prepare the food. You could see it while seated and it is truly made with love and care.

The prices are pocket friendly and quantities are sizeable.
The restaurant is clean and dust free.

Try the falafel plate. You won’t be disappointed.
Raji Santhosh
Have eaten here before when the place initially opened; found the food tasty and of good quality. Ordered the wrap today for lunch; the wrap (roti-like) was very flaky, looked uncooked and fell apart the minute I unwrapped it. The stuffing was good though. Hope the wrap was not old/stale... Very disappointed.
Madhurya Ramesh
Tried their Baklava in a food festival. I really did not like the stuffing but the outer layers were neat and crisp. They served it in a cute little heart shaped plate. I feel it was a little overpriced for the portion they served. But I was extremely happy with the way the staff interacted with me and everything. They were really sweet to all their customers. I also heard their Falafel is really good.
Siddhartha Chakraborty
One of the best budget places serving Lebanese cuisine on this area. The food is really good, and the staff is hospitable. The pita bread and falafel are my personal favorites.
Tanveer Ashiq
Small outlet with great service.
Food is good, good serving size on the falafel roll, the mint lemonade was a little low on quantity .
Should seriously consider opening more outlets in other parts of the city, but without letting the quality drop.
Areeb
Love the middle eastern inspired food here.
True to its name and taste it feels very close the the real cuisine.

Had the falafel and the rolls and they are a delight.

Must visit or you can order home too and they have quick service for both.
Varna Prakash
Habibi falafel serve some amazing middle eastern food, from pita chips to freshly squeezed juices it’s all just perfect and pocket friendly too. I loved the falafel plate and samoon ( Iraqi baked bread filled with hummus , falafel and tomato tahini) and baklava which is a dessert from the Middle East made of pastry filled with chopped nuts and soaked honey.
Abhinavgupta610
I love their falafel plate. Order it whenever i am in the mood for good and nutritious veg food. Best place for falafels in bangalore
Shashwat Narain
I orderd a falafel platter which was served with boiled spicy potatoes, pita bread, falafel, some salad and obviously, Hummus.
Rohin George
Best falafel in Bangalore. The falafel plate and rolls are amazing and filling. Pocket friendly, veg arabic place. The place is small so mostly i order takeaway.
Shalini Upadhyay
I was too excited to visit the place after reading the reviews but it was in all "okay" experience for me. I ordered Falafel platter and Hummus platter and both were very okayish in taste. It's just one time visit, will prefer to go to other places for pita & hummus for sure. Third Wave in HSR serves much better pita hummus platter than Habibi Falafel.
Anish Gupta
Amazing lebanese food at a very reasonable cost.
Falafel roll is a must try, cheap and filling.
Baba ganoush is prepared really nicely.
Hummus and pita are also really delicious.
Authentic lebanese taste at a really reasonable cost.
Must try for kebabs lovers and fit freaks.

Cute little cafe which serves all veg food. It has indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. The service is quite quick. I tried the pita chips and dips, which had baked pita bread with hummus, mutabbal and baba ganouj. I also tried the falafel plate and falafel burger with some tasty veggies on the side. . It was huge and very much filling. Also the freshly made juices are really good. The baklava was average in taste. But overall it has some healthy quick bites to try on.

Taste: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Ambience : 4.5/5
Value for money: 4.5/5

Loved the Jumbo falafel... Loved it. The Chilli pickle wasn't that good but the Falafel roll was awesome. It was amazing. The fried egg plant was good too.

We had been here recently, I must say food was yummy and loved it. There is something about this place which not many has - TASTE, FOOD QUALITY, FRESHNESS, FAIR COST. Many charge around 1000-2000 bucks for the food they serve but despite of multiple ordering(burger, rolls, juice, starter & sweet) our bill was just 250-300, shocking isn't it. Must try .. Friendly staffs, Arabic bgm, and plentiful for a few cents.

My feedback to management would be pls increase the seating.

Definitely worth the visit. I shall visit soon again ;)

A small with seating joint serving the best Middle east or Mediterranean food in town. Pure vegetarian place and very economical.

🔶Things to try

🔹I first started with a Falafel Plate which is just INR 110 and quite filling , with fried falafels, pita bread, hummus, salad and batata wada. The batata wada are very tasty and worth a try.
🔹The juices also available are fresh. Recommended is orange and mint lemonade.
🔹The hummus and veggies roll is another thing to try on which very cheap and quite big in portion. The bite is delicious.

Dont forget to try the baklava here because its will be one of the best you will have.

I can describe this place with three simple phrases :
* Delicious food
* Affordable prices
* Friendly Staff

One thing I really appreciate here is that they segregate all their wastes in various categories and serves food in strong paper plates. Full five stars for it.

The menu is dominated by the middle East famous street food falafal. You have falafal rolls, falafal salad , falafal burgers and much more. There are crispy fried veggies and pulses stuffed balls which are amazing in taste. They have many variaties of juices too.

After a long time I had grape juice and totally loved it. Very few places are able to make good grape juice, and here I habibi it!

We tried falafal plate which had falafal balls, chickpea hummus, pita bread , fried Aloo Sabzi and salad. A perfect meal in itself. The flavours in hummus were mind blowing. It leaves you to crave more of it. We also had pita chips with 3 varieties of dips. One was hummus only, others were eggplant with veggies and single. I am not a fan of eggplant but I still loved its taste here.
It can be your regular go to place if you live nearby and love vegetarian food.

Well, with not so good feedback from people who visited this place earlier, I decided to give this place a try. This small place is definitely worth. On the busy Koramangala streets, this is a small cozy place offering middle eastern delicacies. Following are what I ordered:
1. Pita chips and dips: This was a combination of baked crispy pita bread served with three dips: hummus, Mutabbal and Baba Ganauj. Hummus is a dip made of chikpea, while Mutabbal is a brinjal and sesame based dip. Baba Ganauj was my favourite of all, made of grilled brinjal and other vegetables. The dips were served fresh, the bread was crispy and fresh too.
2. Hummus Fateh: This was hummus mixed with bread cubes, pita chips, chickpeas and fried cauliflower topped with various sauces. This dish is filling, the bread cubes & sauces play an important part in its taste.
3. Baklava: this is a dessert pastry made of layers of dough, filled with chopped nuts and topped with honey. I definitely will go back to have this dish again.
4. Falafel Samoon: falafel, hummus and vegetables wrapped in a soft bread. The bread was fresh and the falafel and hummus made the overall taste better.
5. Orange and pomegranate juice: these were cold pressed fresh juices.
Go to this place to experience Middle East cuisine.

Going by all the great reviews, i was looking forward to some tasty food but was very disappointed. I am not sure how it is at the restaurant but the food delivered was so bad that i could not finish a single falafel. Please do not accept delivery if you cant deliver fresh food. Falafel had clearly gone bad and the sweet was also somewhat raw and doughy.

Craving Middle East food.. this is the place you need to explore in Bangalore.. authentic falafel and baklava.. all freshly made and served.. it’s a small outlet in the lane opposite to Wipro park in Koramangala.. the place is clean and hygienic with courteous and friendly staff.. the juices are freshly made.. we tried the falafel plate - it’s the recommended dish very authentic 👌🏻

This is by far the best falafel place in namma Bengaluru and not to forget only vegetarian too. I went there yesterday and it's a small place but dishes out some amazing and authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The staff is very friendly and a special shout out to Ms. Rimie who made the dining experience truly special. Even got my very own Habibi Falafel T-Shirt.

Here I learnt the difference between Saj , Samoon and Pita bread. Also got to know that they have a factory in Bengaluru where they bake their own breads.

Now coming to the food , I tried the following:

1. Falafel Samoon - This has the goodness of falafel, hummus and tomato tahini. It is stuffed with green salads as well making it a wholesome meal. Check the pic out to know what I mean.

2. Falafel Burger - Another droolworthy dish which has a circular falafel patty ; the sesame seed bun is soft and tasty

3. Batata Harra - Scrumptious potatoes with a dash of chilli and herbs which leave your craving more

4. Falafel Plate - Must try !!!

5. Baba Ganouj - I can eat eggplants in this form everyday ; tangy and topped with pomegranate seeds

6. Baklava - If you have a sweet tooth, please don't miss this rich sweet. This just melts in your mouth.

Also tried their freshly squeezed Pomegranate Juice and it was refreshing.

Taste - 5/5
Service - Quick
Value for money - 5/5 (It is very reasonably priced for the portion size)

OVERALL VERDICT - If you haven't been here, you are missing something!!!

A perfect stop to have an authentic Mediterranean dish. I had "Falafel Plate".
This was the perfect platter which included Falafel balls, fresh pita bread and tasty hummus with some good crisp green salad. This is the best healthy food that one can have an equally, it's so delicious in taste too 😋

They prepare their own fresh bread.
Even their "Hummus and Veggies Roll" is so good, with fully loaded with veggies which juicy and chunks of falafel in it. The assorted side veggies were going good along with it.

They have a sweet dish on their menu called "Baklava". It's small, square, crisps and flavour of peanuts and walnuts in it.

Next, I had pomegranate juice. I thought it might be a normal one. But to my surprise it was really something different and unique. It was just too good and refreshing!

They are situated on the main road and have one floor. A good place to sit and enjoy their Mediterranean dishes. Service is quick and staff is courteous too. They are going to open their new outlet in Indiranagar soon. Sure to visit again here 😋

Do follow me on Instagram and YouTube @explorewidketan to explore more eateries 😋

It's a cozy little place in kormangala serving you the middles eastern falafel and hummus cuisines. They have dedicated their whole menu to the most amazing dishes. I tried out the falafel platter which had falafel balls which were fried properly and good to taste with creamy hummus, pita breads which was soft and again good in taste, with some side green salad. I also tried the pita chips which were crisp with hummus and other side dressings like batata harra and green chutney. They also have falafel rolls, burgers and fresh salads to try from the menu
.
Their freshly squeezed orange juice was a quick relief in these hot summers with no added artificial sugar. The service is good and it's very cheap, good value for price. Like after having the falafel platter I was quite full and I had my lunch there, so it was that good.
.
You can try their baklava sweets for some desserts option

Great middle eastern food with genuine flavours, full vegetarian though.
Pita bread with hummus and chilli paste was the show stealer of the day as it came along with falafel which was amazing. Baklava was a blast of flavours in the mouth as it was something I've never had before, orange juice and mint lemonade are suggested drinks as they tasted Amazing!

If you’re fond of eating out, you’ll have noticed that there are not a lot more Middle-Eastern restaurants on the streets of Bangalore these days.

When it comes to flavour, a good falafel should taste of fresh, not tinned, chickpeas and include a wide variety of herbs and spices like garlic, coriander and sometimes even cinnamon. Habibi falafel is one such place.
I tried hummus plate - served with freshly pita bread, pickles and hummus is drizzled with olive oil and pepper.
Hummus fatteh- mixed with bread crumbs, pita chips, fried cauliflower, tangy tahini yogurt sauce, and falafel balls. (Must try)
Freshly squeezed orange juice
Pita chips and dips - Freshly baked and crispy pita chips with tri dips, hummus, mutabbal and baba ganouj
And lastly Baklavas which is just for 20rs each.

Falafel Samoon Sandwich - Great filling and healthy as well

Baklava - perfect taste. It tasted like the one I had in Kashmir

And all at reasonable place

Say around 8-10 max.
The service is good and staff is polite.
They serve freshly squeezed juices which are sugarless. Tried the orange and mint lemonade, both were quite refreshing.
The food is ideal for vegans as their entire menu is vegan friendly :)
Hummus Fateh is a must try. The taste was quite different and amazing. After trying more than half of their menu, I can say it was their best dish.
Pita chips and dips was good too. It comes with 3 types of dips, namely hummus, muttabal and baba ganouj. Out of these, I really liked the baba ganoush which is made of eggplant cooked in tahini and olive oil.
Their Falafel is okayish. I am not a huge fan of the dish anyways :P
Hummus and veggies Roll is another great dish if you're not a Falafel lover like me. It has veggies and batata harra(fried potato) with lots of hummus and fresh salad.
To end the meal we had Baklava. It's a crispy layered dessert made with thin dough(phyllo).
It is sweetened with honey which makes it a bit healthier.
The prices are extremely pocket friendly. They also gift free t shirts for bills exceeding 500.

Do follow me on Zomato if you found this review Helpful. :)

HABIBI FALAFEL is a Middle Eastern and also Lebanese Quick Bites Place Located in Koramangala.
It's a cute place to start off with and i honestly love that they have tall seats, finally a place which goes with my kinda preference. ambience is nice, small and compact. it's an open kitchen where you can also be seated on your seats and still be able to watch them make food for you.
Service however i feel, it could be improved but i felt it was okay to start off with.
Staff Behavior is something which i would really want them to improve.
Coming to the food,i felt they were all average, expect the Falafel Plate. The Falafel Plate was good and it had everything on it where you can mix and match and stuff. I felt that their Hummus wasn't that authentic as Dahini was missing from it i guess and the falafel balls could have been much better in terms of taste and texture.
Pita Bread was quite nice. i would have liked it if their juices were more blended cuz honestly i just liked their Mint Lemonade Drink amongst all their other drinks. The Baklava's were too sweet and the real taste of baklava wasn't felt in this one. we tried other stuff as well but they all seemed to be quite average for us.
the prices however is reasonable at cost but taste wise i didn't feel it up to the mark.

MUST TRY :

Falafel Plate
Mint Lemonade

MY RATING : 3/5

Ambience : 4/5
Service : 4/5
Staff Behaviour : 4/5
Food : 3/5
Drink : 3/5

That's it for my review guys, hope you have a good day and take care! ❤️

So finally I have found a place in Bangalore which serves good authentic falafel varieties and it’s just amazing. Let’s start with the ambience. The place is quite small just the right seating arrangement for 10 people max inside the shop and they also have a outdoor dining tables. It’s really close to the main road so you won’t be having trouble in finding the place.

Coming to the food ,I tried out the falafel plate and the falafel burger both where just amazing. In fact I moved the burger, maybe it’s just because of my love towards or the burger itself. It tasted pretty good , the burger was bit dry in the sauciness so I used the sauces, they have three varieties of sauces including yogurt which was perfect. For dessert I tried there special baklava which is pastry made with layers of filo dough with chopped nuts and sweetened with honey, and it’s just perfect and it’s a must try. They also have varieties of freshly squeezed juices which are so fresh.

Overall experience was pretty good and I would definitely recommended this to everyone.

The place is cozy. We had the Falafel Plate and grape and lime mint juice. The pita bread was soft and fresh. The hummus tasted alright. The Falafels needed a bit of salt though. The baklawa was pretty good

I love the hummus that you guys serve. I've lived in the gulf for a good 18 years and the hummus is totally spot on. The pita bread is extremely soft and makes for the perfect combination with the hummus. Keep up the good work. I wish you guys served shawarma.

Surprised to know that Baklava is their house speciality, as what I had wasn't nice at all. The pastry was dense and heavy and smelled of old oil they have used. I was expecting a buttery light pastry (as it should be) but was very disappointed with this.

Habibi Falafel are definitely a winner. This place has absolute courteous staff. The staffs are very polite. The food is absolutely delicious. The falafels are really crunchy and the pita bread absolutely soft and the pita chips is awesome. The Baklavas are also worth a try if you are looking for some sweet to go through. Would definitely recommend the pulpy orange juice that is a pure bliss and the oranges are imported from Egypt. Go and satisfy your falafel craving soon. Definitely worth more visits.

What an amazing evening at @habibifalafel in Kormangla, Bangalore!! We started with yummy Mediterranean falafel along with authentic dips - hummus, babaganuj, tahini and Muttabal. Crispy Pita Chips and fresh orange juice made up of imported Egyptian oranges made our meal even more delicious. And of course how can we miss out on having the famous middle eastern dessert-Baklava!! .
.
One of the interesting facts about this place is that the owner is from Palestine and hence they serve purely authentic middle Eastern food in the heart if Bengaluru!

I think the best Falafels you can get across Bangalore.
Had an awesome experience of having different varieties of Falafels here and found it average.
To the new readers who don't know what a Falafel is,it's a deep fried round shaped ball which is made from ground chickpeas, fava beans or sometimes both. It's originated from middle east n mainly from Egypt and spread across Western Asia now.
Small restro located at the heart of the city at Koramangala which has great ambience irrespective situated on the main road.
Mostly woody interiors done with some quotes attached to make the interiors more awesome.
Let's talk about the food I tried and had here with my own ratings acc to per dish :-
• Baked pita chips with dips - Consisting of pita bread chips which were served with 3 different types of dips namely muttabal, hummus and baba ganouj. (3.5/5)
• Falafel plate - Falafel balls served with fresh pita bread, hummus batata harra & salad. For me it was the best dish from this restro (4.3/5)
(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
• Falafel samoon - It looked like a sub but a big one and way better den what we usually have at Subway. Consisting of falafel which was filled in Irani baked bread and also having hummus and tomato tahini in it. This was the second most dish I loved from here and do try out dis out as well. (4.2/5)
( HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
• Hummus fateh - Obviously it should have Falafel balls and hummus. The other thing I noticed in this dish consisted of pita chips, chickpeas, cauliflower and had that tangy tahini yogurt sauce taste in it (4/5)

** Fresh juices **
One thing I liked was they have already mentioned that they don't add sugar or extra water in the juices giving it a real juice flavor and I tried all the 4 of them.
My personal favourite was lemonana and grape.
I drank orange and pomegranate also but didn't like the taste of it as compared to the other 2 juices.

Coming to the sweets we had the all time famous baklava which is popular now across the world originating from turkey but a healthy dessert to hop on with.
A must try dessert and a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED dessert from my side would be baklava as well.

Bon appetite to all readers...!!
Accompanied with BANGALORE GRUB HUB

If you love middle East Street food especially the falafel and hummus then this place is definitely a must try. Located in the heart of city in kormangala this place has awesome falafel .
The ambiance of this place when you enter give some positive vibes and the staff is very friendly.
I tried the falafel plate and falafel futteh both were nice but I liked the plate more. Falafel futteh was like bread soaked with hummus and served with falafel.
The best part is the fresh juices here which they squeeze out directly from the fruit without any added sugar or water. Also the baklava I had for the first time and was really nice.
Will definitely recommend this place to all falafel lovers.

People often misunderstand a Falafel! The name ‘falafel’ is generally used for the whole dish but interestingly it should be used to describe the ‘falafel’ balls! The ball is generally made up of fava beans or chickpea or a combination of both. It surely is a mediterranean pleasure for the world to enjoy! It has been there for centuries, long before the traditional fast food. The taste palate being similar to ingredients in India, our love for falafel comes naturally.

I had heard about this place from several people. Finally made it to Koramangala to find this time space located on a bust street. I walked into habibi falafel and was happy to see that everything was made fresh in front of me. I could see that falafel was made fresh. For me falafel and hummus is close to my heart, being born and raised In the middle east.
I have tasted many places in the city that serves hummus and falafel, but Habibi falafel is the closest and tastiest and most authentic one.

The crunch on the outside and the soft filling in side. The hummus with the right amount of tahini and olive oil. The pita that is of right consistnacy.. all of the above got me to remember my childhood days.

The pricing is so good and cheap. That every bite is worth. The fillings are stuffing. I will be surprised if someone can eat more than 1 sandwich.

Their baklava is something that was ok I have had better than that in the past.
Hoping habibi falafel can open in Hennur-Kothanur too.

We have been thinking of trying this place for a long and finally visited it for the first time, couple of days back. Habibi Falafel is located in Koramangala 1st block, very close to Cafe Thulp. The place has an amazing ambience with comfortable seating arrangements and arabic background music. We visited this place around 7pm and wasn't that crowded, however crowd started coming after 8pm and by 8.30 entire outlet was full. Now coming to the food we tried, Hummus fatteh, Baba Ganouj plate, Pita chips dips, rolls and some fresh orange juice. Falafels were perfectly golden fried and tasted amazing with cold hummus. Only disappointment was the baklava, which could have ben better. All in all, its a must visit place.

Special thanks to Ms. Rimei, who was very friendly and helpful. :)

Will visit soon.

Habibi falafel, located in Koramangala is a small cozy joint serving some lip smacking delicacies which are based around the main ingredient - falafel. With a seating of 10-15, Habibi Falafel has maintained the taste, quality and cleanliness standards in their food!

They served us a lot their preparations, first being the pita chips and dips which comprised of hardened(baked)- chips like Pita with three dips - hummus, babaganouj and muttabal! It was an amazing combo! Very delicious!

Then came the Falafel Plate - falafel balls served with pita hummus, crisp green salad and potato based batata harra. Make a falafel roll from the falafel and pita and mix dip in hummus and have it for a delectable dish!

The best dish of the experience was the falafel fatteh! It was so delicious and filling. A new concept for me, it had a bread base in hummus, mixed with pitta chips, chickpeas, pita chip croutons and tahini dressing! So many ingredients, so much deliciousness to eat! MUST TRY.

Falafel Pita Pocket - pita bread acted like a pouch holding falafel, hummus, salad and the tahini. The fillings was so much that it was oozing out of the pita pocket. It tasted really amazing though.

They also served fresh squeezed juices, special shoutout to the freshly squeezed egyptian orange juice with no added water or
Sugar! It was in it’s pure form! Do try out their juices, I liked the orange and the grape one!

Last but not the least - their baklava, not the best baklava I have had but a piece for 20 bucks does make it worth having, cheap and good in taste. It was a perfect way to end a filling wholesome meal!

All in all, it was a delightful visit to habibi falafel, they have sanitizers placed everywhere and adequate seating.

The staff are friendly And courteous and the services are usually fast!

Do visit this place for an authentic middle eastern meal at good prices!

Pita pocket was waste everything was falling down.. could not eat. Felt like eating chapati sabji.
The pocket was feeling like half cooked and tasted like eating raw

Had the Falafel Samoon and orange juice here. The portions served are outstanding given the price. One would easily expect double or triple the rate given the serving and how well it is made.
The oranges are imported from Egypt and the juice made fresh.
Another detail that shouldn't be kept aside was that they have set up separate waste bins to segregate waste based on food/plastic/paper which should definitely be taken up by all restaurants.
Had a phenomenal experience here yesterday. Stepped in here on a whim and due to an intense desire to get out of the traffic and the place didn't disappoint. Their chips and dips are well balanced and an extra order of Pita chips is needed to be able to finish the abundant quantity of dips provided. We also tried the veggie roll. It was very flavorful and succulent and the mint lemonade to go with it was delicious too. Overall, had an absolutely fantastic experience at this quaint cafe and would recommend everyone to go there, atleast once.
Stomach Ek (by Ravish Malhotra)
My vegetarian friend had been longing to try this place for quite some time now, so this weekend we decided to visit it. It's a pretty small and cozy joint that revolves around essentially one dish which is the humble falafel. While doing that, they've made sure that the hero behind all their dishes i.e. the falafel is indeed a hero in itself. It tastes absolutely amazing, crispy on the outside and dense but not so chewy mashed chickpeas inside. They also offer freshly squeezed juices and baklava among others. In terms of seating, they have seating both indoors with a counter overlooking the front window, and a couple of tables with high chairs outside. All the items that I tried were:

Dips Plate (9/10) - Baked pita chips served with an assortment of dips that included creamy tahini, hummus and babaghanoush. While hummus is always a hit, their babaghanoush is what really surprised me. It was really delicious with a few kernels of pomegranate seeds as well.

Falafel Plate (8.5/10) - This was again quite good. Served with 6 pita breads and falafel pieces each, along with a good amount of hummus, fried potatoes and a salad, this is nothing but pure comfort food. We didn't even talk while eating this.

Falafel Fatteh (9/10) - This was probably my favourite of the night. Something new for the both of us, but so filling and so delicious. This basically had bread cubes mixed with their in house creamy tahini sauce. This was further mixed with pita chips, hummus, fried cauliflower and chickpeas which overall gave a nice rich feel to the mouth, but had textural contrasts in terms of crispiness and smoothness.

Falafel Pita Pocket (9/10) - Another dish with loads of falafel, roasted aubergines, hummus, freshly cut vegetables loaded inside a pita bread by making pocket out of it. Because of the amount of fillings inside, this just collapsed, but the messier it gets, the tastier it is!

Freshly Squeezed Juices (9/10) - We tried both Orange and Grape juices, both of which were so fresh. And at only about 50/- per glass, it couldn't get better than it. This being light, helped us gobble down all those food items without any problem. They don't even add any sugar to it, and it's as natural as it gets.

Baklava (9.5/10) - One of the better baklavas available (probably still not the best), but what really strikes me is the price they charge for it. Just 40/- for 2 pieces which is the lowest I've ever seen. And they are indeed delicious, so just visit them for these if nothing else, as I doubt if this can ever be matched in terms of value for money!

Overall, great taste, low prices and great comfort food. Moreover, it's quite healthy, with loads of vegetables, hummus and falafel and no sugar fresh juices. All in all, an amazing place with just too much potential.

Hailing the classic Middle eastern cuisine in Namma Bengaluru, this cute little joint with genial name, freeholder in one of the busy as bee street of Koramangala is the opera season for falafel. This self-service spot though is a small, but they have a provision of indoor and outdoor sittings, the Outside settee is harmonized with high round tables coordinated with high sittings and its pet friendly so you can enjoy your meal with your furry canines.

So we @tripsntreats01 visited HABIBI FALAFAL this weekend to try some middle east delicacies.
.
We simply ask them to recommend their specialities and we were served with
1. Falafal Platter
2.Humus Fatteh
3. Egyptian Orange juice
4.Baklava
.
.
None of the food, we have tried before. So it was a new experience. The ambience is a small cafe like with live counters. The manager over there is very friendly and he always smiles.
.
So let's start with the food..

Egyptian orange juice was very fresh as they didn't add any sugar or water in it. A big thums up for that.

Next came the falafel platter. It had pitta breads, falafel, hummus and fried potatoes and salad. Pita breads where so soft and the falafel tasted awesome with the humus. Good food indeed.

The hummus fatteh had pita fries in it which was giving it some crunchy taste and that tasted awesome.

For sweet ending we took baklava. Classic turkish dessert. It was good, filled with nuts😊

So overall review

Food- 4/5

Ambience- 4/5

Value fo money-5/5

Service- 5/5

Please follow @tripsntreats in instagram to join our food venture.

Review:
This Falafel (Egyptian dish) restaurant is located in koramangala 1st block. The place is small with clean indoor and outdoor seatings. They have some interesting or good initiatives taken by maintaining separate bins for wastes and keeping a bowl of water for animals. This just grabbed our attention! And the place is really clean with fresh healthy food served. Love falafel or hummus? Then this the place to go.
🔸Falafel plate 🔸
Opted this falafel plate which had fresh falafel balls served alongside fresh pita bread, spicy potato harra, hummus and crisp green salad.
🔸Falafel🔸Ultra crispy on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside. Dip this perfect falafel in the hummus which is lipsmacking and enjoy 😋
🔸Pita bread🔸 This was so soft and light. I loved the way how their hummus was made it had perfect texture. 🔸Baklava.
This sweet was just perfectly layered with chopped nuts and held together with honey. So crispy and tasty.
🔸Falafel burger.
Falafel patty topped with tomato, lettuce, pickles and egg plant muttabal sauce on a freshly baked sesame seed bun served along with a spicy potato harra.
Potato harra was not that spicy but overall the burger was too good because of the crispy tasty falafel.
🔸Orange juice.
Egyptian orange juice made freshly. This juice was so pulpy and tasty without adding any sugar.
🔸 Pomegranate juice.
Yummy pomegranate juice. I don't like juice when sugar is added to it and this is the place to have natural, fresh juice.
PS : I love places which are environmental friendly.

We ordered from Habibi Falafel and it was a bad decision. The food we received was stinking and almost felt like rotten. How can anyone serve bad and rotten food?

Never ordering from here again.
