Taste of the biryani is excellent and staffs(srijith) here are soo polite. You can have your biryani on banana leaf on request. Chicken is soo soft.
afshan Fathima
Authentic andhra style restaurant. Famous for their andhra meals which serves yummy rice and a special yellow daal, ideally paired with ghee!!! Absolutely delicious. Theyr also famous for their anshra style chicken preparations such as chilli chicken, guntur chicken etc. These are slightly heavy on the chilli so you might wanna ask the chef to tone it down a notch or two. Also must try is their special natti koli chicken biryani. Very different yet maintaining the authentic nature. Overall a decent place to visit with friends n family.
Divya Devaraj
We had boneless chicken biryani and it was great. Service was very nice and other thing which I liked is they serve food in banana leaf which give more essence to the food.

We have taken function hall for kids birthday celebration on 30th june 23, around 120 people gathered for function and it was memorable event for us and a ton compliments given by the family members and friends visited for arrangements and food. arrangements were very well organized by the team Nandini and food is amazing taste. They have provided event organizer contact for decoration and etc ( Nagabhushan) he has done really a good work as requested. Food and hospitality is Amazing, even after 15 days everyone is remembering. we have really enjoyed and spent time peacefully with friends and family. my kids really enjoyed to the most. Special thanks to Sachin and Sagar for making this event memorable to us. you guys have delivered every single point committed.

Authentic Andhra cuisine at affordable prices with fine dining experience. Meals is good and tasty, chicken dishes live upto the mark but can be better. Better to avoid during weekends or peak hours due to delay in seating.

Every single chicken starter is delicious here! Don't forget to try the egg starters as well. Specially egg pepper dry. Very reasonable prices.

This is a place very close to my office, it may not be easily visible or may not give a good feeling when you look at this restaurant from outside, but trust me it's right up there when it comes to preparing tasty food.<br/><br/>The ambience of this place is not much, it looks like an old fashioned restaurant. I have been here only twice and tried just few items on their menu, but my colleagues who frequent this place always commend this restaurant, their pot biriyani is quite well known. I like their hot chapatis with Chicken masala, the paranthas are good as well. The service is very good as well.<br/><br/>The price is the best part, it's extremely reasonable for the quality and the taste of the food they serve. I would like to try more items on their menu in coming days.<br/>
Harshini Hegde
This small eatery with not so perfect ambiance but a perfect place for some mouth-watering manglorean non-vegetarian dishes with great value for money.POT BIRIYANI is the highlight of this restaurant where a biriyani is cooked and served in a mud pot and do not miss the SHOLAY KABAB from here. <br/>The staff is very humble and is happy to help you with your choices
Satish Nerlekar
Please get this restaurant on home delivery 😍 I always had biryani rice and pot biryani from this restaurant. Amazing taste you'll get addicted to their tasty food. Get on hom delivery plzzzz...
Deepak Prabhu
A good restaurant which provides good value for money. The taste is good. Also try some of the mangalorean dishes. Especially the fish masala fry.
Indranil Bhattacharya
Very basic kind of ambience & seating. Staff is attentive and service is prompt.<br/>Fabulous food though. Had anjal fish as starter. Followed it up with mutton ghee roast and crab sukkha along with neer dosa. Absolutely awesome.
Sunil Mathary
Been there 2 years back, had chicken Biriyani and hariyali kabbab, taste is good and pocket friendly restaurant always taken parcel from here good amount of food and taste is awesome

Visited this place for having dinner.Nothing much can be told of the ambience it's pretty decent. Coming to the food it tastes good and the service offered is also good as the food came without much delay and the staff were pretty much attentive to what we wanted to order next. Overview, if you want to have some decent food in an affordable price it is a place to visit.
NIKHILESH AGRAWAL
They served the worst food ever had in my life. They serve the leftout food. the paneer smells very bad n the food cost much more then its quality n taste plzzz dont visite this restaurant going to this restaurant it waste of money.
Shekhar Jagannath
This place is pocket friendly. If you are tight on budget and want filling and tasty food,do give this restaurant a chance. You will get a lot of food for a reasonable amount of money. The staff are friendly. The ambience is not very good but overall worth a try.
Sujan Debnath
This is the 2nd time i m being here... At first visit we had a hurry burry meal... Out of that could nt just understand the right sense of the place... But now, in a sensible way i suggest.... Its good to take it as a place to fill your stomach.. Nothing more of it... We ordrered veg manchow soup... I never had such a soup with whole garlic n chopped ginger... Service staff was extremely behaving naive and he was extremely igonrant on the dishes we request.... All in all a big flop ... Being in white horse....
Renson Dsouza
This is Ok. Yes its not that great. Menu is very boring. Tandoori items are good. Noodles not recommended here. Chicken sukkha not recommended.
Bibek Anand Sahu
Although the ambience isn't that appealing...but the food is pretty good in taste...Some of staff are friendly while some are rigid...The price is reasonable and quantity is satisfactory...But needs to work on the ambience... Happy Eating !!
Sanjay Mohanty
Pretty decent place with not so good ambience. Quick service and good food. Below average pricing. Didn't liked the biriyanis out here but other dishes are good enough. <br/>
Ankit Agrawal
Pretty under average place to eat with not great seating and overall feel of the place but food doesn't let down, it's not great but quite good for the price it's charged at.
Ankita Deokar
I visit this place like twice in a week or something for the proper food. This place is so economical and the food has the consistency.<br/>One can have the complete meal in Rs. 100-200.<br/>
Kitty Kumar
Excellent Crab cuisines, must try Kebab meaty , chrisp awsome taste...pot Biryani stand out taste aromatic, rightly cooked economical priced greate taste
Aravind Moda
The service is really quick. The open kitchen gives you a good feeling of hygiene. A budget hotel for bachelors. The food quantity is also excellent.
Navneeth
Not great in terms of ambience as you move in, as the floor tiles looks quiet old and stained . But the waiters are quiet welcoming. The menu had quiet a few options which included seafood and few Chinese dishes. The waiters here are super quick. I specifically liked their chicken kalmi, it is tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. Chicken kori roti is a dish ,which shouldn't be missed out. They offer you kori roti along with chicken curry and the quantity is great. They also offer fish ,prawns and even crab dishes. You can also try their fish thalis which has a fish fry and fish gravy in it. Overall I felt their food is good in terms of taste but their hygiene needs some improvement.
Shuvra Biswas
White horse....is just a restaurent beside my home....so we have been there taking parcel many times. Eveing this place is packed with people. The food with their specials which is different everyday with fish and crab in their menu...is a decent place. The food is spicy and likable ...and the price is definitely a 4.5.....
Tanmay Mhatre
Hygiene seems to be in mess but the quality of food inclines with expectations. Oil and food color can be reduced. A quick lunch restaurant for sure
Ihsan
Like their Mangalore recipes..Kane masala fry is worth a try..any fish masala fry with ne'er dosa is the best combination here..didn't like the north Indian food here..higene wise also can be not pleasing to all
Manu Udupa
Pocket friendly, great food, fast service, variety dishes. Might not be a big hotel but the number of people who order take out are many. Everything is just great. The hotel is very kind.
Vishal Veeresh
Me and my friend went to this place after college. Here the hygiene is not maintained but the food tastes very good . I prefer non vegetarians rather than veg people here . Here anything related to egg tastes good such as egg chilly which we ordered here . The place is very small ...
Manu Pratap Singh
This place is good according to taste but hygiene is a big problem.Food tastes good.It should be the last choice to give it a try.<br/>Must Try *if - Chilly Paneer
Ganesh Kumar Mohan
Whitehorse is a very simple looking hotel, serves tasty andhra style food. We tried Chicken pot briyani and normal mutton briyani. Pot briyani was excellent and normal briyani was good too. Rice is so soft n tasty and pieces are tender. The taste is quite similar to chennai pandias briyani. Cost is very nominal for the quality especially in City like Bangalore. Good one!
Prakhar Mohan
Their food quality is really pathetic. I almost ended up suffering with food poisoning post eating their curry. Strictly avoid this place. Strict no no
Shravanth S
Decent place biriyani was quite good ..... had ordered mutton biriyani which just came with two pieces and hardly had meat on it .... other than that taste was not disappointing ... it is one of those places whose ambience cant be judged
Jack N Coke
I was planning to visit here since many days.... yesterday got chance to try their food. To be honest I am disappointed with the quality. There is nothing to praise about the taste. I took chance only after reading the reviews, which says a lot good about this place. I feel Bangalore & bangaloriance deserve much better food. <br/><br/>Coming to the precise findings : The chicken curry had a bad smell due to which it was inedible. It only happens when you cook chicken curry with skin on chicken without roasting it .<br/>Although the staff was courteous and well behaved. <br/><br/>In nut shell, I will not dine here again.
Rakshith BH
Well being a mangalore style cuisine!! U can predict ambiance I would suggest take away than having there rates r reasonable and foods r tasty ❤️taste of butter chicken here!!(boneless)
Petu Shilps
We found it next to the signal and saw the swarm of people hanging around and decided to try it out. It looks really shady almost like some bar. :))) I was probably the first woman to be seated there. I later saw girls coming over for takeaway. Mixed crowd moatly..you know pg guys, girls, locals. Obviously not a family crowd.<br/>Seafood lover will love the Mangalore style cuisine here. My friend had a chicken ghee roast and some fiah dish and was singing praises. I was more bothered about hygiene. Anyways my Chinese noodle and manchuri did not disappoint and i stopped grumbling. :) This restaurant is apt for sea food lovers. Prices are rock bottom in general. Sea food does not come cheap in land locked city Bangalore but here prices were reasonable even for that.
Karunesh Gupta
Good place <br/>The food is good tried tandoori roti <br/>Kadhai Panner panner chilli <br/>Chiken and some other food <br/>All were good <br/>Biryani is worst dont even think to order biryani here <br/>Other food items r good
Nagesh Gm
Small in place but gives you a great satisfaction to your taste buds.. May be you could wait to get seat but you will forget waiting time when you eat. Prices are too affordable. I had been there too many times to pamper my taste buds.
Nick Gupta
The place is just fine. Meant for those who want to grab a pocket friendly meal. Tastewise the food was not up to the mark. The roti were cold.
Shubham Uthappa
Nice little place. Prices are priced really well. starters are my first suggestions. Hotel seems to be kind of iconic in the surrounding. Services are pretty quick for take away also
RJ Sudeep
Not a great place for families to dine-in, but I would strongly recommend a take-away from here.<br/><br/>Being a Mangalorean myself, I can vouch for the authenticity of the dishes. While it may not be 100% authentic, the taste here is much much much better than the other restaurants that claim to offer authentic coastal fare.<br/><br/>Their neer dosas are fluffy and tasty, just the way they should be.<br/><br/>The lemon chicken and the French chicken were not that great, but not bad either. They were coated with an excessive amount of batter that kind of spoilt the taste.<br/><br/>The pot biryani comes in a great quantity, and will take quite a bit of effort to finish.
Haritha PK
The service of this place was totally disgusting. We visited this place very regularly as we are Mangaloreans. The food here was nothing compared to "Namma Kudla" but yet went here as it was on the way home.  <br/>Like always we ordered Chicken sukka with many other dishes. To our surprise the chicken in the sukka was stale. Hence, we decided to forgo the dish and buy something else instead. However, the waiter who is a thin man with spectacles started abusing and claimed that we are returning it since we dont want to pay for the same. He just refused to discuss and yelled before all other customers. We tried speaking with the Manager who did not prove to be any different. <br/>Shocked, insulted and horrified, we wanted to leave. Instead of requesting us to finish what we ordered they wanted us to pay for the entire food that we had ordered. <br/><br/>There are numerous Sea  Food restaurants like "Namma Kudla", Parikha and Inchara which offer much better food and SERVICE!
Ramani Gogoi
The de-facto goto restaurant in JP Nagar for all our lunch and dinner needs. Have been visiting this place since the day it was inaugurated around 7 years back. The taste has been consistent every time. My favourites are the lemon mutton and chicken pepper dry fry. The kane masala fry is also to die for...
Malini S Nair
This is my go-to place when I visit my brother and the two of us don't want to bother with cooking. I usually take parcels, so decided to dine in, for once. The ambiance is not great and lighting is poor. However, the place is clean and the staff friendly. Tried the koli roti and chicken meals.  It was delivered quickly and the taste was awesome. The starters such as chicken kabab are also quite good. Specially, look out for their Mangalorean-style dishes.
Rakesh Dewangan
Place is good and food is cheaper than any other place. Worth your money.<br/>I went there 3-4 times. Everytime it was neat and clean. I liked the place.
Mahajan Nirbhaiy
D place is not too great but clean. D food is very tasty nd is at a very reasonable price. I tried kadhai paneer and butter chicken der .. both were gud . As a nin vegeterian i wud prefer butter chicken.. service is fast. Very light on ur pockets . Must try
Nabajeet
Decent place, with good pricing.. The staff is polite and quick. The food is nice mostly though sometimes its below average. Dine is options are good however they tend to mix up orders if you parcel it. Happened many a times with me at least.
Arun T
I'm a regular visitor to this place. Almost 4 years.  Its a good place to hang around. No ambiance. Price is cheap and I would say that they worked their strength. Base of most of the gravy is same. However it is nice. Try musloom chicken gravy and palak paneer. GOOD PLACE FOR YOUR MONTH END BUDGET.
Pramod Byakod
For food I would give 3.5/5.<br/>Customer treatment is really horrible.<br/>I have been going here since an year at least once in a week. I am a great fan of the white horse taste. <br/>Let me come to the point, last time when I went there,as usual I ordered Masala Papad. I felt bitter on my first bite, called the waiter and asked him whether the papad is prepared freshly or it was kept ready from long time? <br/>He said, papad is not fresh it is prepared before. <br/>With no second thought, I asked him to cancel the order. After a couple of minutes, manager came and started arguing with me furiously. All I could find in that argument was, he was worried about losing 30rs. He was least bothered about the customer satisfaction.<br/>At last I had to pay for the masala papad which I didn't eat. <br/>After the bill payment, I could see happiness in managers face.<br/><br/>All I want to say is, people working there are not as good as the food. <br/><br/>So, my overall rating is 1.5/5.
Richul N Prasad
I had heard a lot abt this place...that its cheap n tasty...<br/>But I'm away from this place...as my first experience out there turned out to be quite bad.<br/>I took a north Indian thali ...n d taste was hopeless..
Anoop Sinha
Nice food but don't expect ambience it look like normal eatery. Price not cheap but moderate. Best part is it open till 11:00pm. Card swipe facility is also available.
Praneeth Sharma
This is one of the good places in J.P Nagar which gives value for your money. However the service doesn't reach the quality of food. A much more better service is appreciated.
Vyastk
I have given a very generous rating ... Simply for their consistency . <br/><br/>This is a good place for a ale away and have ordered tens of times.<br/><br/>They have some good mangalorean dishes and their pot biriyani is quite nice<br/><br/>Value for money and not really recommended for dine in
Radha Krishnan
We had Lunch at this place, Little crowdy, Ambine not that great. Looks Olden age Restaurant. The Food tast was ok, tandoori starters came to table after 30min of ordering, hot and fresh. Biryani taste was ok (to be improved). Overall can try Once.
Sailaja Kumar
Dont expect too much in terms of ambiance and quality. ordered Anjal fish and panneer chilli from this place. Fish is good and panneer is very hard. Its value for money.
Kalesh Kumar
Went there for dinner. Small place. Not so great ambience. Feels like you got into a time machine and went back to 1985. The flooring is mosaic. It is kept neatly. I would say much better than some other tiled restaurants. Saw at least 5 couples and kids. It was good to see family crowd. Ordered Need Dosai, Chicken Sukka and Bangada Rawa Fry. The food was really tasty and the price was also reasonable. The menu was extensive. Will go there again to try more dishes.
Vinay Vaikuntam
Its Very Nice hotel with Lots of Variety Dishes.<br/>I like Non-Veg Items in this Hotel.<br/>Good Taste & Service too.<br/>Its a Cost Effective Restaurant.
Harish Setty
White horse is small veg and non veg hotel. The staff is very friendly. It has limited seats. More variety is available for non veg lovers. Seperate food prepartion for veg and non veg. When i visited i was orderd veg starters. Taste was super, especialy baby corn peper dry must to have. Pot birayani also awasome. At end of the food everyone has to drink veg tamotao rasam. That has super taste. I am sure we ask 1more cup. The rates also will come in budget. I will suggest this hotel for both veg and non veg lovers. I am loving it.
Sandeep C
Had food lot of times<br/>Not kinda family restaurant. <br/>I am commenting on Non Veg here rather Veg.<br/>Food is good and tasty more than we expect.<br/>Worth of money. <br/>Although its small but better than lot of big hotels.
Jasdeep Singh Kalra
White horse restaurant is located very near to hotel nandini jp nagar.<br/>Good and cheap place to try out good mangalorean food<br/>I have tried food twice over here. <br/>Chicken thali is a must try. It contains tandoori roti, a bowl of chicken gravy, rice and chicken sukka which is a dry mangalorean preparation.<br/>I've also tried mutton biryani but it did not live up to my expectation.<br/>Have heard a lot about their fish preparation and would like to try them out soon.<br/>Overall a good restaurant to try out a different cuisine if you are fed up of eating north indian food.
Bala
This place in not hygienic. I found cockroaches every where. Was waiting outside for the order, found lots of cockroaches on the floor. I saw one flew into the kitchen outside where they make roti and tandoori, a guy over there apparently he is cook make roti and parota, took the cockroach with his bare hands and put it on the floor and stamped on it, inside the kitchen, i just cancelled my order and came. I told the guy who gives away the take away, he pretends as if nothing happend. Any one can go and see the cockroaches there. Don't know what health inspectors (who claims they go for inspection regularly) are doing.
Harsha Raj
I would suggest this place for a decent mangalore style items. Kori rotti and seasonal fish fry is pretty good for the price. Biriyani is average and servers the purpose. Best for take away. They have pretty decent tandoori items too
Elivia Lobo
We were looking for a good mangalorean cuisine restaurant around bannerghatta road. Thanks to Zomato we learnt about the White Horse restaurant. Since they do not undertake home deliveries, we called them and placed the order for the food and went to their restaurant and collected it. It's a small decent place. The food was ready when we got there. The price is very reasonable. <br/>The mackerel rawa fry, kori rotti and neer dosa dishes are quite good here and I would recommend those dishes if you ever get a chance to visit this place.
Josh
When we're talking about value for food- this is it. Do a fabulous pot biryani which is very satisfying. If you're a poor student get to the white horse for your fill. Ambience is distinctly average however, so make it a in and out operation.
Vinay Kumar KR
Not many would have heard this place but offers better food than Nandhini at much lesser price. Food is tasty but may have to compromise slightly on quality and ambience. Chicken pepper dry, pot Biriyani, handi chicken gravy, egg fried rice, egg Manchurian and some of the best dishes apart from Tandoori. Crowded in the afternoons.
Alan DSouza
This is a no nonsense nice food matters place.<br/><br/>Very nice sea food in a manageable ambience. Best for lunch timings as they have nice fish thalis that contain a mix of gravy and fried fish. If you like sea food and are around JP nagar, you got to try this place.
Akash S Kumar
Chicken Kurbani(Rs. 135) was spicy and went well with the rotis which were prices low!<br/>Chicken Biriyani comes at good price(Rs. 85).<br/>A nice lunch stop quick service which expects you to quickly leave as well.
Sudeep Meher
Nice food at reasonable price. Must try starter in veg and non veg. Baby corn pepper & mushroom pepper are nice. Chicken butter masala is good. Love to visit a again.
Chipoozu
Dear fellow,<br/><br/>This one is a plain jane non aspirational hub, suits my office lunch requirements. There needs to be a variety on the list of places to be optioned for the quck bite. Nevertheless, restraunt management is also taking efforts to make itself adept to the requirement for the increasing population by the day.<br/><br/>White Horse is a multicuisine restraunt serving north and south cullinaries, Indianised Chinese and tandoori specialities with paralleled comfort. They have both alacart and thali option for the diners. In my various visits I see several hanging id cards from the necks of the mutiple heads on different table. There service time is fast and helps the cause of many IT startups in the vicinity. <br/><br/>They serve good egg options, we land up having egg with breads as an option. In their quick bite zone one can also opt for their chicken/egg biryani. It serves wholesome food if you lack company to share curries. I have also tasted their thali, veg is southindian and chicken uses the flavour of coconut; they reached a wrong taste bud in my mouth. There bread variations are pretty straight; roti refers to tandoori roti, variations can be a butter roti and a naan as per your pallette. <br/><br/>The service is also commendable wherein all the waitors (without confusion) attend to their customers. The team is swift to place orders, follow up and even clear the plates and associated bill processes. The avaerage bill can be taken as 150- 200 per head.<br/><br/>I would share my recommendation to visit this one for a quick bite!!
Clinton Dsouza
Nice mangalorean food. Friendly waiters. North indian chicken dishes are just ok.. reasonable rate
Sachin Shenoy
Epic Food! The new Chef just rocks he is amazing with the fish masala Fry....and Kori rotti ......I love prawns pepper fry..................
Deepak Kumar
Food is ok ok...I heard that their fish thali is a must try...but I preffer north Indian food and they said they will be cooking in coconut oil...so I didn't order it...pot briyani and chicken angara are ok ok....but not excellent....quantity is really good
Karthik K
There are few Value for Money restaurants in Bangalore and this is one of them. No ambiance, just good food. Been here with a friend last week, after checking the reviews at zomato. Wanted to try pot biryani but was not available so, ordered neer dosa gasi, Bangda masala fry, chicken biryani and tandoori kabab. <br/><br/>Biryani was OK(They use normal rice not basmati). I liked Neer dosa gasi(4 dosas with chicken curry) and Bangda masala fry. Tandoori kabab was little raw to taste.<br/><br/>Overall rating : 3/5<br/>Ambiance : 2/5<br/>Food : 3.5/5<br/>Service : 3.5/5<br/>VFM : 3.5/5
Srivindooji
nice food at reasonable price. cant really say the food is manglorean though. not much of seating options are there. ideal for take away.
Mitesh@desi_global_foodie
have been eating here for more than 5 years now. the taste has not changed a bit. I am a big fan of their biryani and kerala parotha. their tandoori items are a must haves too.
Prathik S
Very unhygenic, toilets stink<br/><br/>Not good food either in taste quantity or quality <br/><br/>Would not recommend any one to go unless they wish to fall sick
Sunil Santosh Rego
Great food always. My favorite dish at White Horse is Fish Thali and Fish masala fry :-)
Naveen Kandukuri
Good food for reasonable price. the kebabs are succulent and fish fry is excellent. all and all I would recommend this place.
Rahul Dey
The food is actually pretty satisfying for the price you pay .It is unbeatable in terms of value for money and serves a good variety of things.Don expect much from the seating and take away is actually a better option. My favorite dish has to be the pot biriyani. The biriyani is cooked right into small individual pots which are sealed to contain the steam and aroma. Not sure of the cooking style it adheres to but the results are pretty good.As already mentioned by someone , it is a great place to parcel reasonable priced but tasty food , when you have people coming over and you are in no mood to cook.<br/>Overall : Recommended!
Terence Fernandes
This place is good for is authentic manglorean cuisine<br/>The fish thali is amazing<br/>The gravy is just like homemade food<br/>the taste and size of fish is also good<br/>A must try<br/><br/><br/>----- 08 Jul, 2013 -----<br/><br/>The fish thali is excellent. definitely value for money<br/>Also the pot biryani (chicken) is excellent.
Arvind Rangan
Great place to have food at best price. Veg and Non-veg egg items too are excellent. Meals are good too. Mangalore style of foods are interesting to have.....<br/>Enjoyed all time dinner or lunch. Tomato curry is veg. specialty.
SUDIPTO BANERJEE
Dont expect too much and you will be happy. For the price that it charge for most of the dishes, it is value for money. Chiken Angara is a must try
Hyma
The food is excellent. Great Value for money. Yes of course the look of the restaurant will decieve you at the first time. I thought to enter at first time but now I'm a regular visitor. Parcel will not take longer, your parcel will be handed over to you in less time than any body can expect. Their meals are great value for money and I bet no one in Bangalore city can offer such an amount of food for a vegetarian thali. All tandoori chicken dishes are excellent. They need to keep chekc on amount of SALT they put in some gravies, kebabs and especially meals. Excess salt in their dishes, this restaurant might loose most of the customers. <br/><br/>Keep it up guys, good food in JP Nagar, I would say one of the best restaurant in Bangalore with great value for money. Very friendly staff with excellent service thought the resturant is very samll with no ambience. All you enjoy is your quality and tasty food.<br/><br/>Now a days none of the restaurants are serving quality & quantity at such a cheaper rate.
Utsab Silroy
if u are hungry and low on cash..and its late...this is where you should go...!!<br/>but never ever ever order any roti..!!
Nikhil Rane
Food here is good tasty , Its a bit on the spicier side , but the chicken starters like kababs and tandoori's are really soft and succulent .The ambience is not that good, Its kinda okay. The prices at which the food is offered is really affordable for everyone here . overall its a good restaurant and food here is as good as the name.
Snehith Pereira
My 2 star ratings in the beginning maybe confusing considering what I have to say in the next few lines but by the time the review ends one shall be able to understand why so. <br/><br/>Well to start off m a big fan of tandoori/grill food and as I have spent almost my entire childhood in mangalore I just love the local cuisine. <br/><br/>On my several trips towards puttenhalli I had never noticed white horse, reason being it actually is tucked in and discreet though it faces one of the most busy roads of JP Nagar. One day on my way back after dropping a friend in tht locale. I see this tiny shed kitchen with varieties of skewered chicken. Instinctively I stooped and stepped into the place. It's a rather modest hotel with dimple furnishing, one which bought back memories of the typical lunch homes in mangalore. <br/><br/>First look at the menu and I was stunned. On my first visit I parceled a plate of "reshma" kabab, mutton sukka, chicken ghee roast and some chapathis. All this came for about 360 rs. I have to say by far this was the most reasonable mangalorean hotel I had been too. The food was brilliant tasted just divine. Like mentioned previously there are times when u feel that the meat is the base for the dish and the masala the meat ( simply put, too much masala/gravy ). I loved the food. I returned here several times later to try several other varieties. A honest 4 star for the food. <br/><br/>All good things have to come to an end and so did my beautiful run with this hotel. Yesterday I was there. Had parceled a few rotis, mutton masala and some mutton 65. Between my meal while chewing on the mutton 65 I happened to bite upon a glass shard. I was speechless to this amount of carelessness. Minutes after throwing my food and rinsing my mouth I realize the glass cut my tongue real bad. After half an hour of continuous bleeding and panic realizing there could be a chance I ingested some shard piece and terror waiting at the doctors to check for further bruising, I was left with a scar on my tongue and horror full memory which shall prevent me from ever setting foot in that place. <br/><br/>I know this is a lengthy episode. More of a narration than a review. But it was important to me to bring this to others notice. This is my justification for the 2 stars

No frills , just food ! <br/>Good food , don't expect the taste from chef hands. Yes service will take a bit of time. <br/>Having a party at home with few friends along with booze , get your chicken from here. <br/>Have fishes and biriyani, especially pot biryani. its good <br/>450/- for a full meal for two ..

This is a restaurant which can be extremely deceiving due to its looks; when one looks at it, one's expectations may drop, but the matter lies within. I, being a meat lover, usually go for the half tandoori, and if I am in mood for a proper lunch, I go for a chicken or fish thali with a raava fish fry (Bangda). The ambience also allows one to enjoy their meal, whether it be a dosa, or a thali, in peace.<br/><br/>On a downside, sometimes the chilli chicken can be a bit disappointing due to having more chilli than chicken. But other than that, whatever I have tried, have satisfied me. Do not expect a grand feast, but this is a restaurant which offers satisfying food and truly is value for money.

This is the best "Value for Money" restaurant in JP Nagar. <br/>Don't expect great ambience, AC and other frills... just good food. On weekends, expect to see this a bit crowded. Patrons are greeted by a tandoor counter at the entrance with all the assorted chicken items arranged in a mouthwatering fashion - for a foodie like me, an enticing sight I should say.<br/><br/><br/>Eat this:<br/>Fish Masala Fry (bangada/kaane), Kundapura Chicken, All Tandoor Items, Neer dosae (ask for piping hot ones, you may get the warm ones)<br/><br/>Avoid this:<br/>Non-Veg Thali, Cold neer dosae<br/><br/>Badly needed:<br/>Bar
