Appam and chicken stew being my favourite. They also have nice fish curry.. Kerala poratta.. idiyappam etc
They used to have kadukka earlier which they have now stopped.. they used to serve best kadukka which I miss now.. will recommend this place and will continue to order..

Have visited the restaurant many times. It has a good variety of tasty and authentic Kerala dishes. Prawns dry fry ...too good. Appam or Idiappam and chicken varutharachathu- must try combination to go for. Kerala meals for those in Bengaluru who miss homely food. Basically whatever we tried was too good and it is a long list of food to mention here. A must try place for people in Bengaluru.
I have been here many times and also ordered in. Tried the squid, prawns, crabs and so much more. This is a really good place for the seafood. It’s to die for. Love it
The crab masala is so good it’s definitely a must try here.

Good value for money food if you are looking for something homely and light on the pocket. Good variety in the menu to choose from. Find it a little too spicy, but definitely a must try. My favourites, Karimeen Pollichatu, Squid ghee roast, Duck roast, Mutton stew
This is one of my favorite spots for lunch, especially if am craving for some nice Kerala food. It's pocket friendly and you will not complain about the portion sizes. I always prefer the Kerala Veg Meals along with their Malabar Chicken Fry. The meals are really good. You can choose either white rice or the Kerala red rice. This is served with 2 veg Gracie's, sambar, rasam, buttermilk(my absolute love), pickle, papad and payasam. The Malabar Chicken Fry is well spiced and cripsy, served with cripsy onion (yum with rice and sambar).

I've succumbed to temptation and ordered their decently priced Malabar biryani and beef roast several times now. The latter does appear to be rather oily, but this place is definitely worth a try.

This Kerala restaurant has amazing beef roast. Decent place for dine-in and also pocket friendly. They try to bring the authenticity to their dishes and it's not bad 😊 try the combo of beef roast and banana fry.

One of the better Kerala Porottas (and that, I believe, IS the appropriate spelling! :-)) in town. Curries are tasty with large portions. Lots of interesting stuff on the menu. I've tried most of the beef dishes...very good. The ghee rice is spectacular, too!(disclaimer: I'm not an expert on Kerala food...but I really like the food @ Green Pepper!)

A nice small Kerala cuisine place . We ordered chicken masala and appam ,which was really really tasty. Just loved the combo. We even ordered paneer masala for our veg friend :p ,which he loved along with Kerala parathas which was hot and so soooo soft. We ordered pomfret masala fry,which was a huge disappointment ,it was almost burnt from outside and inside it was half cooked , with a weird smell. We loved the chilly prawns. Definitely visiting the place again , but hoping for a better fish fry.

I have been a fan of Green Pepper for a few months now. If you have seen my previous reviews, I had written on for a restaurant called The Emperor in Thippasandra. Used to be my favourite, but then it shut down and I didn't have a place to eat good food anywhere nearby. Finally, I came across this place, the green pepper. I like their food, as they serve quality Malayali cuisine. I order from this restaurant on a daily basis for my office lunch and this place has never disappointed. Their fish menu is extremely good. Bangalore is not really a place with good seafood variety because usually, the fish is never fresh. Not that green pepper gives you the best fishes, but the way they make the curries and fries does remind you of the times you had food from a Kerala restaurant in coastal areas ok Kerala. I like the portions they serve, enough to fill your tummy and maybe your favorite colleague's too! My favourite has always been the fish pothichoru and the ayala fry. On the pricing scale, I would rate them medium, but for the price, the food is delicious. The beef roast and chicken items are really tasty too. But beef and chicken are not really something i would have on a daily basis, so I cannot ask to buy it daily. But trust me, the food is extremely good. And yes, how could I forget the parottas. The fluffiest, fresh, softest parottas I have eaten in all of Bangalore is from this place. Must try!

One of the best economic Kerala restaurants in Bangalore. Their Kerala meals is too good. We have been there multiple times and had their Kerala porotta, Appam, chicken fry, garlic chicken and sea food items. All are good and prices are also reasonable.
Ambience -The restaurant is really simple and just has chair and tables.
Staff and service - The service was for really fast and the food was served hot.

The food was tasty and close to authentic Kerala beef roast and parotta. It was tasty and filling. I was extremely pleased with the flavours and soft texture of the parotta.
The banana fritters were the perfect end to the meal.

Went here yesterday along with my parents for a quick dinner. Usually I order take-away from this place but this time decided to dine in. Ordered Parotta, Appam, Veg Stew and Aloo Gobi masala.
All dishes were great and the curry portions are sufficient for 2 (or 3 maybe) people. Ambiance is not something to talk about. It just feels like a better "thattukada". One of the few Kerala cuisine places that have something to offer for the vegetarians. Worth a try.

Their kalumakkai roast is my favorite too.. but last time, it was a devastating experience.. and I have also noticed that they are consistent with the quality..

Was passing by Jeevan bheema Nagar, and happen to see this small kerala place.. So we decided to go with the flow..
On arriving they served us with complimentary green tea.
We first called for a sweet corn chicken soup which was just fine and average.
Also ordered the chicken road and appam which actually very good.

Had an awesome authentic Mallu breakfast at this place- the appams, puttu, chicken curry and kadla curry were absolutely brilliant. Freshly made, perfectly blended spices and served fresh to the table this was an absolute delight.. to top it up the chai was awesome as well. Hygienic and nothing so fancy of a place but the food is a 5 star
My friend had insisted me to visit this place for a long time, so planned to drop here today for lunch along with our group. We ordered veg meals , kerala pepper chicken and crab roast. The meals was good with unlimited portions of rice sambar rasam Moore curry kootu poriyal pickle and appalam, pepper chicken was too tender and melts in mouth. The crab roast on other hand is a different story, it was served in large portion, fresh and we'll cooked but the roast masala didn't blend or soaked in with crab. It felt like eating steamed crab along with masala curry. Well it is a better place to visit, if you know what to order.
Have always ordered online for home delivery, never been there as such. Have tried their Kallumekaya Fy ,Prawns pepper, Chicken Biriyani as well. Taste is purely of coconut Oil.

Heard such good stuff about this place, I had to try their food. So, I ordered their famous mussel fry which, sadly, got over. Instead, we had to be satisfied with the crab fry.
We got the order quite fast. And the crab fry was pretty good in taste. A little spicy and well-flavoured...couldn't complain.
The place had giant painting-cum-carvings of the forest on the walls. The ambience was decent and warm.
Would certainly go for the mussels next time and hopefully, will get it this time!
One of the best Kerala restaurants in Indiranagar Area. Food tastes yummy and service is good.
My personal favourites are Kerala Porotta (which is mostly served at its crispiest best) and Kadala Curry.
Pricing is slightly on the higher side. A typical breakfast for a person costs around 200 Rs.
The thing I liked the most about this place is how quick the service is. Takes then hardly 5-10 minutes.
The thing I liked the least is how they don't have beef in the menu on spite of being a hotel run by malayalies. The porotta is just great. Crispy and fluffy. Prices are decent too. Appam-not so much. The prawns and chicken dishes are quite good but the squid was disappointing as it was too rubbery.
Good space kerala restaurant in jeevan bheema nagar. They have varieties in sea food, but comparing menu prices with achayans and kerala pavillion it is lil more. We tried Kerala porotta , puttu and gobi manjurian. Porotta is nice , soft and crispy . The gobi manjurian curry is also good. Try sea foods from there.
Mallu Zone of Jeevan Beema Nagar along with awesome taste and flavour of kerela. My favourites Malabar Biryani, Appam with Chicken Stew and Porata with kerela chicken.

Landed here with a friend thanks to our mutual love for mussels! This place did absolute justice to my seafood craving! And the best part was that this was on vishu, so main course had to be the vishu sadhya! Each accompaniment, if not equally yummy, was better than the last. The star of the show for me was the mussels! THE BEST MUSSELS TILL DATE IN BANGALORE!!!
