GMT - Gelateria Montecatini Terme is a place which is located in Indiranagar but saying that, They also have other branches too in Bangalore like Lavelle Road and Sahakarnagar. They have Branches in other parts of India too. They are mainly into Ice Creams and Desserts. I love the ambience here, it's so warm and cozy and gives you the feeling of home. they have a swing here in which i played alot like a little kid ❤️ very nice pillow covers 🤩 i love the aura of the place and itb looks very nicely done. really a luxury look the place gives out. lovely aesthetics. Service was good, no complaints there. best! Staff Behaviour was also very pleasant and friendly and welcoming. Food waa great, especially Ice Creams. we got to see how Gelato is made and learnt stuff too. They're Gelato's are really so tasty and creamy. i also liked their desserts collections and the shakes are also made of gelato too which is amazing. the place also seves great Coffee and Tea too as they have a good collection of both as well. Classic chocolate, bacio, Nutella mascarpone, buono, cremino, mango sorbet Himalayan salted caramel, vanilla are the highly sought after ones. It's newly opened but they surely know how to excite your taste buds. Ice creams are fresh. Just the "chilly chocolate" flavour was a bit disappointing. Classic chocolate was best! Mango tasted like real fresh mangoes, it was yummy 😋😋 Rest of the flavours were equally good. Coming to ambience, it was amazing. Looked like a royal place, great lighting, light music. Just the way you would like to have while eating your ice cream. It was a good experience over-all.

A cute place for friends to hang out. Heard a lot about this place. This place is beautifully decorated with lights, books, puzzle games and cute sofa pillows. The ambience is amazing. Had been here and had chocolate jar Ice cream and Belgian chocolate ice cream. The staff are very friendly. Do visit for some tasty ice cream.

I'm not an "ice cream" fan. This is exactly why I repeatedly visit GMT. This isnt ice cream ; its super smooth, non-cryastalized, mildly sweet, super yummy gelatos. The natural combination flavors are mindblowing and are always different from the previous visit! For the number of flavors there are, I think I'd have to visit at least 25 times to try them all! Having complete 4 visits, I think I'll manage to try them all! 😁😅

My God! This place is just amazing. The ambient looks and the glamour topped off with the fresh sweet smell of the different ice creams and edibles makes it a perfect spot to hang out in the evening. The ice cream is worth every penny. Plus the staff is very friendly.

GMT Icecream and Coffee Lounge is a amazing place to hang out with your friends, loved one's as the place is very peace with no disturbance. I loved the ice-cream and the flavours that they had, the finest Italian Ice cream. The good thing was when you choose a flavour, they give you to taste a bit so that if you don't like, you can prefer a different flavour. Ambience was so good, those lights and the way they have arranged. Loved it! So definitely, I would highly recommend this place. Cheers!

We had the experience of their magic @pondicherry. It is a small counter though there. Now GMT is in Bangalore with their magic and a magical ambience set up for all ice cream lovers . After ages rating one ice cream parlour or any place 5 star . And fully justified . You taste the authentic Italian here . And left a thank you note at GMT too

One of the best places in Bangalore for ice creams. I recommend the Italian Jianduja. They also have a mini library with some interesting read on Flavours of Italy.. The ambience is great for kids as there is a swing right in the centre. Will be visiting this place more frequently.

After visiting this place in Pondicherry, I came to know that this is opened in BLR as well. And finally been here. If there is heaven of ice cream then this is that place. Every gelato is must try here. They had setup very nice ambiance and interior. Feels price is much high. Here I always like nuts gelato than Fruit one ;)

5 star is not something that I grant to anybody. But Indiranagar GMT branch deserves it for their hospitality and the quality of food. Thank you Sabith, Mohan & Naveen for a wonderful hospitality. Absolutely love this place.

If you enjoy original Italian ice cream then this is the place to head to without a doubt. Bacio is my current favorite here. They also make Ice cream cakes on order.

This place has raised my Ice Creams standards so high that nothing else tastes good anymore. They have about 72 different flavours which keep rotating. The Ambience is Top Class and the Ice Creams are truly fantastic. They are open till 1am on weekends and 12am on weekdays. A must visit place in Bangalore.

This is a really nice ice-cream come gelato parlor, which has a variety of flavours and the taste is excellent. Must try would be the Pineapple and Coffee flavoured ones. The ambience is very relaxing and the staff are very polite and well mannered. The guy running the place - Prashant plays a hospitable host. All in all a lovely place to go too, if your on a date.

I become a kid when it comes to ice-cream and when I heard Gelato I just went crazy.<br/>Always wanted to try out a Gelato, and this is the first time I did and it was a wonderful experience.<br/>GMT is not just some normal ice-cream place, it's a whole new experience.<br/>The interiors are just soo good with wooden sittings, small plants and a swing, that's right a swing!<br/>As soon as I entered, my eyes went straight to the wonderful display of Gelatos. The colors, the consistency, the texture I just wanted to try out all of them,which I obviously couldn't, but I got top recommendations from the owner and that helped me a lot.<br/>I tried their classic chocolate, which was my favorite being a chocolate lover. Chocolate ice-cream never tasted soo good 😍🍫<br/>I also loved the rashberry and pistachio flavour.<br/>They also have a range of exotic alcohol infused Gelatos, I tried the champagne one and absolutely loved it.<br/>All Gelatos are made naturally, with no added color or flavors and with lots of love.<br/>Warning - You want like normal ice-creams after trying the Gelatos here ❤️<br/>

GMT is probably one of the few places in Bangalore where one can find authentic Italian gelato. The interiors of this place are top notch, like a really classy restaurant with warm lighting and muted colours. Coming to their gelatos, their chocolate flavours are to die for. Some of the flavours I tasted were the bacio, Venezia - orange and chocolate and After Eight - mint and chocolate. The mint and orange flavours were really punchy and delicious. I could absolutely eat tubs of that mint gelato. They also have many fruit flavours. Tasted the mango, raspberry and lychee. All flavours tasted fresh and unabashedly fruity. They also have a range of baked desserts to go with their teas and coffees. Tried the eclairs, apple pie, strudels, and chocolate Paris bursts. Again very light but flavourful. Overall GMT is an experience not just icecream.

GMT is a heaven for gelato lovers. Till now, the gelatos here are the best out of all the ones I have had in Bangalore. The variety here is huge! They have around 6 different flavours of chocolate only, beat that! And, almost a dozen vegan options! Located at a very prime spot in Indiranagar, this place is perfect to satisfy your late night sweet cravings or simply when you need something really good after partying!<br/><br/>They have also come up with organic teas and coffee which is a plus. Now some info time so for those who don't know what is a gelato, gelato is an Italian word which stands for frozen and gelateria is the shop name used in Italy that sells gelato.<br/>Many people wonder what's the difference between gelato and normal ice cream so gelato has lower butterfat content and here it's the lowest like for a small cup of gelato it's 4-8% and for ice cream it has 10-18% of butterfat in it. Most of the other ice cream parlours selling gelato use whole milk or cream.<br/>We all got to know one more thing about ice cream was usually ice creams are stored on -5 to -8°© but here it's preserved at -41°© which we all saw by our own inside the making area.<br/>I will frankly say that I'm not a dessert or ice cream person but this restaurant has started making me crave to eat more of the gelato ice creams ever after my visit over here.<br/>Plus they are proud to say they have 11 vegan ice creams served over here which is the highest in the whole Bangalore as per the manager's saying which is an awesome thing to write.<br/>I personally loved the classic chocolate sorbet and bacio as I'm a die hard lover of dark chocolate and this 2 vegan ice creams had 66% of dark chocolate into it.<br/>Rest all the ice creams were too yummy and melting as soon as eaten.<br/>I loved the ambience as well with new types of dim lights and perfectly arranged tables for either couples or family. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed by this place.<br/><br/>It’s supposed to be the finest Gelato, but sadly the ice creams were so ordinary and extra sweet. Didn’t enjoy the flavours also, not much of a variety.<br/>Didn’t live up to my expectations at all.

Ambiance - pleasant. Very spacious and posh. <br/>Ice Cream - now we’re talking ! Litchi, Oreo, Vanilla are excellent. It’s Gelato truly so the flavours are a must check out ! The scoops are generous !<br/>Tea - surprise surprise ! Try out the few exotic tea offerings ! I loved the Orange Pekoe & Oolong tea. Terrific ! <br/>Overall it’s bang for the buck and a premium dessert experience !

Expensive but good tasting gelato. Quite a few flavours on offer and nicely done up quick eat space in Indiranagar. They have some genuinely good ice cream but the waffle I had gotten wasn't that great and the mango ice cream I took wasn't good because it had a weird taste to it. Their Chocolate ice cream on the other hand was brilliant and very well made, will go back only for the Chocolate ice cream.

Ice cream and brownie was amazing..even the chocolate truffle was good. Staff behaviour was well mannered..overall amazing experience. Five out of five.

A great little gelato parlor and cafe tucked away in the lanes of Indiranagar, you will definitely love the ambiance and super tasty gelatos. You have a good selection of options -over 20 varieties of chocolates, fruits & vegan options along with some cakes, pastries and good coffee, <br/><br/>Tried the white chocolate with caramel and the champagne flavored gelato. The white chocolate starts off with a strong hit of milky chocolate followed by a rich after-taste of caramel on your tongue. The champagne flavor had strong notes of honey and a good kick from the wine. I would definitely visit again to try out the other flavors! <br/><br/>The ambiance is very tasteful, however do note that seating capacity is not very large. The premises is clean and well maintained and hygiene is adequately taken care of.

I ordered the Fig and Honey ice cream, it was not great and not terrible either. Did not taste the flavour of fig as much as I expected. It was just fine, not good enough to make me order again.

The GMT in Pondicherry is much better in pricing.. I understand due to the location and cost the pricing is slight higher here comparatively...this place has a good ambiance and seating.. well done interiors... good quality gelato with wide variety of flavours... in house made cones which and very crispy and nice.. love everything about this place 👍🏻.. recommended..

Ordered cashew and almond. This place I first tried I pondichery where it quite cheap as well. A bit costly in Banglore more than double of pondi rates but worth it. One of the creamiest icecream available in the city.

Not as flavourful as Milano's gelato but the feeling of the extra milkiness makes it its own unique taste as it melts between the tongue and the palate. I will hand it to them though for their creativity in the variety of flavours they offer !

Amazing flavors. The after 8 mint was delicious. Cones should be wider though as 2 scoops are towering on the thin cone making you have to eat very fast. Also, workers should be wearing gloves! But, definitely the best ice cream I’ve had in Bangalore.

I didn't find any difference in terms of taste, quality or service.<br/><br/>I have tried Vanilla and Cashew nut flavors. Both of them were good. I found the authentic Gelato flavor in their ice creams.<br/><br/>As its based on self-serve concept, there's nothing to discuss about service. Ambience is very good. Its a good place to take your partner and enjoy an ice cream over a chat. Prices are decent. PRESUMPTUOUS & ARROGANT MANAGER<br/>I've been a regular customer of GMT since it opened shop. I've personally brought over 50 different groups of people here and recommended their ice creams. The people behind the counter are most polite and pleasant. However the manager has ruined my experience of this place forever! Despite the fact that they had only bare minimum stock of ice cream that day, we accepted and made ourselves comfortable, relaxed and stretched a bit on their sofa. The manager told us very rudely that it will set a bad example to other customers??? Wtf does that even mean!<br/>1. We were the only customers there<br/>2. Thanks to us, others started coming in<br/>3. We were not breaking furniture or damaging property<br/>4. There was no rule or notice that prohibited keeping feet up.<br/><br/>The manager just wanted to bully us and is killing years of die hard loyalty to GMT for the sake of his personal pride. Please note that this man is responsible for me and more than 50 other loyal customers to de-link ourselves from your brand. Forever

Really flavourful gelatos, we had the mocha chocolate Irish cream, champagne and raspberry. Fresh and rich taste. Plus the decor was pretty cute and cozy. And they gave me three flavors in the small bowl instead of insisting on taking a larger bowl to fit them. I liked that concept because with the bigger bowl, I get satiated before the bowl is over.

This is a nice place for desserts along with nice ambiance. We ordered for a chocolate flavour ice cream along with an alcoholic flavour. I don't exactly remember the flavour names but taste wise very good. Mainly the ambiance is soothing along with their ice creams.

I'd heard so much about the ice cream here that I was quite excited to try it out.<br/>The place is beautiful and is apt for a nice, quiet evening with friends and family. This makes for a great ambience!<br/>The variety of ice creams is impeccable. We tried a lot of flavors - each flavor being unique and delicious. We ordered the 'Tiramisu' and 'Dubai cream'. We were given a generous amount of ice cream for just 140 bucks a cup/cone, which, is extremely reasonable. Overall, it was sumptuous and easy on the pocket too.<br/>A wonderful place dedicated solely to ice creams. I have already been to GMT Promenade, Pondicherry and done review of it. After visiting there I became fan of GMT that I visited its Indiranagar parlour also. This time it was special as was with my love. We tried chocolate orange and chocolate mint. Both were good but chocolate mint ice cream was absolutely heavenly, divine, toothsome and savory! Ice cream can be eaten anytime. GMT is a beautiful place with lovely ambience. The variety of ice cream is lots but I did not find the right kind of taste I would like for my ice cream. I like lychee and went ahead with that flavour.<br/><br/>The cost is a little high as compared to the contemporaries though.

Love going here whenever we're in Indiranagar. Great flavours made from fresh ingredients..and super innovative!! I love the champagne and Belgian chocolate flavours..the quantity fits the price..the ambience is very welcoming and relaxed and you get to see the area where the ice creams are churned through big glass windows.. Ambience of this place is commentable.. They have a wide variety of flavours which is worth trying.. One being the havanna,wine flavour, champagne flavour, white chocolate and wild berries all are so yumm.. Worth trying. They have many real fruit flavours as well..

The best Gelatos in the city just a stone's throw away from home, and I've visited for the first time only yesterday :(<br/><br/>I stepped into GMT and went Wow! The place looks amazing, especially with the current festive decorations. And I went at a late hour, so it was peaceful and quiet there. This let me concentrate on the Gelato, mostly the Tiramisu Gelato. <br/><br/>The first and last time I had a Tiramisu Gelato was in the most famous Gelateria in Rome. That was pretty damn good, and GMT's version comes real close! Just the right amount of sweetness, flavours and texture. I even sampled the After 8 gelato, which I definitely will have in full soon. The only wish I have of GMT is to see more fruit flavoured gelatos and sorbets. <br/><br/>GMT is as good as it gets to sampling Italian frozen desserts in the city. Don't think, just go for it! Bravo team GMT, for bringing back memories from Rome.

If you’re craving for PURE chocolate ice cream this is the place. The price is a bit high but the flavor is so pure. No milky taste. I’m attaching a pic to show just how dark the color of the chocolate is. This was the classic chocolate ice cream.

I have tried their Icecreams in Pondi.. Which led me to this store recently. Mh experience was similar or better here. Ambience is great, sets your expectations high. The spread of gelatos are as well good. We were offered to try almost all the flavors before we could pick our choice.<br/>But where the experience fails is about the freshness of gelato. Most of them were frozen and not creamy. If GMT aspires to be ahead of other Gelato vendors in the vicinity, they really should evaluate how they would offer wide selections without compromising on the freshness.

This place deserves a Perfect 5.. be it the ambience or the decor or the variety of icecreams, everything is top notch. The cold storage & machinery is at the backside in a glass room. They served alcohol based icecreams too. We loved the Russian vodka with green apple, Champagne ( with honey &milk) and Irish coffee (whisky based). So unique. We relished them so much that we were craving for more. For 100gms, rate is 140rs. Icecream lovers, give this place a try.

Amazingly flavourful gelato

If first impressions were everything, this place, GMT, would have perched on the pinnacle post. Everything about the decor and the ambiance is perfect for a dessert parlor. The gold standard so to speak. From a cosy nook to huge group seating including a swing, the glove just fits.<br/>One can get a glimpse of the cold storage and machinery at the back. Everything is spick and span.<br/>Now for the most important part, the Gelatos and frozen desserts. We tasted a bunch and settled for the Tiramisu and Italian Jianduja. The Tiramisu was fresh and was just being placed in the display counter. I can't fault the taste - it was exquisite- however, there was definite crystallization in some of the Gelatos and in general weren't soft and creamy like one would expect.

After trying the ice cream at their Pondicherry branch, I was so glad when I found out I had GMT right in my neighborhood. Hands down, one of the best places for ice cream. It's not just the gelato that's super good here but I love how beautiful this place is. It has a nice ambience with good lighting, kinda like an Instagram worthy place when it's not crowded. And it usually isn't, even on Sundays. It's not too expensive as well... My favourite is and will always be the mint chocolate gelato here. It's thick, and chewy, almost like a bubblegum-ish sort of chewy.. that's how rich it is.. if you visit the restaurants in Indiranagar, just don't order dessert. Come down to this place and it won't dissapoint.

Lovely collection of italian gelatos with distinctive flavours . Ambience is so charming and contemporary. Tried havana and tiramisu flavours. Havana was very enticing and luscious it has got egg, milk,mascarpone and rum in it where as tiramisu one was average will not recommend that.

My first reaction while entering into GMT was 'WOW'. It is situated on a slightly deserted street, but stands out because of it's class apart interiors.<br/>GMT is so beautifully done. It is designed with taste and with panache. It is a modern, chirpy and comfortable gelateria which is a delight just to be in. They have hand picked decor and cushions and different types of seating which would seat couples,individuals and groups alike, They also have a swing which I loved.<br/><br/>We ordered the Irish whiskey gelato and the Belgian chocolate with Hazelnut gelato. The Irish whiskey gelato had copious amounts of whiskey blended well into a light coffee flavour. Both the flavors were really nice. We also had a taste of the sugar free chocolate and the After 8 mint & chocolate flavors. We loved both of them as well. The texture is very creamy and the gelato is not overly sweet. <br/>The only issue I found here was that some of the tubs had melting gelato in them, so they couldn't serve it to us in a waffle cone. <br/><br/>Would definitely recommend.

The most striking feature of this place is the whole set up. The ambience and lighting is just lovely! The ice cream cake was a little too stiff and hard to cut but it tasted pretty good.<br/>

Outstanding, really!<br/><br/>On my last evening in Bangalore, I made it a point to go really out of my way to visit this place and I'm pleased to say it was entirely worth it and then some!<br/><br/>Excellent choice of offerings, fantastic flavours - very organic and quite unlike the simulated, synthetic tastes of most other ice-cream parlours and priced just right, too.<br/><br/>In addition to the marvellous gelatos on offer, they also have a great space to just spend time in. Very roomy, spacious and fit for groups small and large, this is probably the best gelato I've had in India, no two ways about it!<br/><br/>I couldn't actually choose one great option to try so I ended up having three scoops, each of a different kind, together. To say it was foodgasm would be appropriate.

Their gelatos are delicious, no doubt about that. But the delivery quantity is just ridiculous for the price, more like a sample size! This is where Milano Gelato beats them!<br/><br/>Highly recommend their hazelnut gelato.
