A good restaurant near Marathahalli bridge. taste was good. Service also nice. Dish taste was superb. Price was little high as compared to near by restaurant, but as per taste it's acceptable. Recommended restaurant.

Ordered breakfast from this place .. tried set dosa , idiappam combo with egg roast and masala dosa .. everything was good .liked there sambhar . packaging was well only . Charges are quite reasonable .. thought of having appam but it was not part of any combo meal .

It's a good place. I have visited this place many times and had ordered biryani, meals and kappa biriyani. Meals was good but need to come early before the stock gets over. Biriyani taste falls between okay to good. Kappa biryani was yummy with adequate masala. They have average space and most of them are 4 seater table but during peak time its overcrowded and need to wait. They provide variety range of food. Among some of them are seasonal and time fixed. Cleanliness and hygiene are okay.They do clean immediately after each table customer checks out. You need to have an idea what dish you prefer to place an order. Like other restaurants staffs here are not efficient to guide you through the menu or suggest. However, their serving and customer service are good. Waiting time for the order varies depending upon the number of order placed. Its definitely one of the decent places you can opt in Marathahalli. They do have card , gpay and cash.

Thalassery is a place in Kerala. This place is famous for some authentic Kerala snacks. This restaurant also serves some delicious authentic Kerala snacks like pazham pori, parippu Vada, pazham nirachathu etc and other snacks like samosa, cutlet, sandwich etc. You may get Kerala snacks in Bangalore but not delicious like thalassery restaurant.

Finally I got one of the best Malabar biriyani in Bangalore. I ordered chicken dum biryani and chicken dry biryani (not enough masala) through swiggy. Both taste good and you should definitely try this. Compared to Kerala, the cost is pretty much higher but "normal" in Bangalore.

Thalaserry is the kerala based restaurant. If you want to taste the authentic kerala food this is the one of the best time. Thalassery biryani and fish food is their topnotch items in the food menu ●Thalaserry spl kabab ●Fish food is the must try if you visit sooo.... It usually opens at 7am and closes at 11pm everyday.

I was in the mood of trying something different and hence thought of giving Kerala cuisine a try. I ordered a couple of dishes from this place through Swiggy. The packaging was good and was delivered well on time. I ordered Kadala Curry, Kerala Parotta, Kadhai Paneer, Idiyappam and Veg Biryani. Idiyappam was totally new for me. It was a kind of bread in form of Sevaiyan. Kadala Curry was made up of black chana and it had subtle flavor of coconut as well. I loved the taste Kadala Curry, Idiyappam and Parotta. Kadhai Paneer was lacking proper mix of spices and I didn’t like it much. Veg Biryani also lacked flavors. The portion sizes were good and all items are reasonably priced. I would recommend their Parotta, Idiyappam and Kadala Curry for sure. Overall, the experience was average.

I stay near this restaurent. This was the only Kerala restaurent I knew when I came to this place. It is not upto the standard as other thalassery restaurants. The reasons why I give only 1 star is listed below: It is not at all clean and tidy. Really small restaurent with a very small kitchen which is full of flies. It is located on mainroad side near marathahalli bridge. They throw the kitchen wastes just infront of the restaurent-main road side. So there is very unpleasant smell even if we pass through infront of the restarent. Then you can imagine how the situation inside will be. Next issue is with the food. Trying non veg dishes from here is really bad idea. The thing I never understand is that how they can overprice the food without even giving it at minimum quality and in that unclean restaurent. If you guys want to try kerala food, there are several other kerala restaurants nearby with good food within different budgets.

Pretty good restaurant specalising in Kerala cuisine. Good variety including appam and kappa. Quality and quantity too pretty good without being too pricey. Tried their parotha and boneless butter chicken. Parotha was pretty big size hot and fluffy....just as it ought to be. Butter chicken wasn't exactly boneless but nevertheless delicious with a fine balance of spice and sweetness. Went very well with the parotha. Have tried their biryani on a previous occasion and it was scrumptious. On the whole, a good place for Kerala cuisine.

Never order Kappa Biriyani from this restaurant (i ordered it via swiggy). It stinks. The food was stale. I had wasted my money & wasted the valuable food. Never expected this from Thalassery. I used to have meals from here, which olis of good quality. But kappa biriyani was utter disappointment !!!!!

I have ordered through Swiggy a couple of times. Found the Thalassery Chicken biryani to be excellent. The rice is fluffy and fragrant without being excessively spicy. A good accompaniment with the Biryani would be the Pepper Chicken fry or Poricha Kozhi. Even the chicken pieces were quite juicy and decent sized. There is something inherently satisfying about meals that appeal to your tastebuds yet don't drill a hole in your pocket.

Ordered Parotha and Chicken Curry. First disappointment was didnt get Parotha, got something else. Second disappointment, chicken curry was cold. Must be pre prepared. The taste of the Chicken curry was also very average. Just 2 chicken pieces. For 180 bucks, it was waste of money.

In the Thalassery Restaurant bill, the amount was written as Rs.158 but Zomato charged me Rs.213 for the Chicken Dum Biryani. The food quality as usual is good in Thalassery Restaurant. I am now hesitant in ordering food online from Zomato.

Not at all authentic. This place is a disgrace to the cuisine of Kerala. When asked for Wheat Parota, they serve you Tandoori Roti. Who does that? Yes, it is affordable but at what cost. I can stick my nose out and say that this place should definitely rename itself as "Disgrace to Kerala"

decent place and easy on the pocket food but not really great. I have been to its other outlets which are way better. Not particularly fond of the marathalli one. i ordered kerela paratha and chicken chettinad. the paratha were cold and soggy. the chicken seemed like it was cooked separately from its gravy. the curry was cold, and the chicken had no flavour of the gravy whatsoever.

Thalassery definitely deserves good lot of stars for their biryani menus. Chicken and mutton biryani is just awesome. The fish selections are great too. Great restaurant that serves perfect non-vegetatian south Indian delicacies. The portions are quite large in fact more than sufficient!

We ordered 1 chicken dum Biryani and parotta combo. Truly speaking, we were disappointed by opening the dum Biryani packet. It's just rice and one tiny piece of chicken.i don't know why they charge 160 for this shit. I tried contacting the restro to convey this and non was picking the call . Parotta combo was okay. But if U are ordering biriani online..these people will rob u like anything..worst experience

Mutton is my one of the all time favorite dish. So ordered from thalassery restaurant one mutton rogan josh. Mutton rogan Josh was fine in taste but it's not the real one I got capsicum on it and chunks of onions.. Gravy consistency needs to be improve more. Good South Indian Restaurant if you are looking for dishes from the beautiful state of Kerala at. Their signature Kerala Parotta could go with anything on the menu and is must try if you plan on ordering from the outlet. The restaurant though isn't very fancy and remains really crowded on most days and does not boast a very great ambience, so takeaways are your best option if you plan on giving it a try.

No issues..But when an offer is for 50% on site, do you mean the regular quantity of an item too be in 50% packs. I got 2 Biriyanies @199.00 means real value @398.00 at half rate of ₹199 and found the total qty. is equal to one regular pack and sufficient for 1 person...with poor quality. I had experience in Thalassery restaurant, Marathahally and have a good impression on it for quality and taste. But for online it is missing..., should have some business ethics by maintaining quality and qty. Regret for this comment.

Great place for non veg food at affordable prices. Thalassery chicken Biryani is the one of the best biryani I ate. Mutton liver roast with prawns fried is also a good combination. Thalassery chicken curry is also nice with Kerala parotha.

This restaurant has been rated below par thanks to some smart people from other states who knows nothing about Kerala food taste and think they know the taste better based on some South Indian restaurants they've visited in their states quite a few times (top blokes!)...... well this restaurant is old but food is authentic Kerala food (I'm a person who've tasted all types of Kerala food in God's own country for many years....and not in the look alike restaurants in other states).... I'd recommend this place for people who wish to genuinely try authentic kerala food / family crowd. The restaurant is a bit crowded so if you don't find a place, get a parcel 😉 Photos attached are of Chicken biriyani (with traditional neyi choru, Kozhikode style), chilly fish dry and hot and sour soup

Ordered food on Saturday evening. The delivery was on time and had the below - Mathi fry: Small size fish deep fried with li'l masala. The fish was fine with loads of small bones - Chicken Hot Garlic: Portion size was fine but they had used loads of cornflour, the item took the shape of the container once delivered. Had to reheat with li'l water. Taste was it was pretty generic. Overall, it is okay but not that good. Can order if don't get any other option.

Great place for authentic kerala cuisine. Their kerala porotta, biriyani, kerala meals ( available for lunch ) are some my favorites. They have a wide range of fresh juices and milkshakes in their menu and are a must try.

One of my favourite weekends getaway food place .... it’s a very busy place ... it’s always bustling with people standing in a que for takeaway and parcels . The dinning area is not a much great ambience to sit and enjoy sumptuous meals. The thalassery special biriyani is my favourite. The chicken do pyaga was a good starter to start with some rumali roti and Kerala paratha . The side tamarind beet root chutney is just awesome to accompany with . Thalassery special tea is something my favourite to end the meal with . Pocket friendly, good food , and seafood at a much cheap price and extremely delicious!!!!!! Takeaway or home delivery recommended.

It is a good mid budget restaurant with courteous staff. The food is reasonably succulent at reasonable price. I am a regular at this restaurant and their grilled chicken is my favourite.(notable mention: butter chicken, Kerela mutton curry)

The grill chicken I ordered was not cooked properly and there was no masala and salt in the chicken. I didn't expect this from such an established restaurant. This is the second time I have received low quality food from this restaurant, this time it is the Biriyani and it tasted worst. I know how the Biriyani in Thalassery Restaurant tastes coz I have tasted their Biriyani multiple times from their restaurant, but my bad... this time I ordered it online and the food arrived was very bad. I guess they serve different quality of food at the hotel and provide low quality food when ordered online.

It’s special biriyani combo I ordered today by Zomato for just 99 /- . You could see the size of package is just half of normal biriyani packing. And see the lime juice , it’s not the standard way of giving in a plastic cover . Really feel disappointed. Pls don’t cheat people’s . Just put half biriyani in list ,instead of biriyani combo in discount 160/- for 99/- .
