Went there for lunch. All my 5 stars are for the food. The place is run by a tibétain family and is very small and homely. If you are expecting good ambience this isn’t the place for u

We really enjoyed our meal here. Very interested to hear about the family who run it, now 4th generation of Chinese-Indians. The food was delicious, the kitchen is open to the dining area. A special dining experience in what is their family home above the restaurant. We had mapo tofu, mix veg and rice. 👌

I had seen this restaurant many times in the last couple of years when I was there on the 27th Main road HSR layout. I found out mostly negative reviews about this restaurant in most of the online platforms. After all these years suddenly this week I visited this restaurant for dinner, and on the contrary I felt that this restaurant should not deserve the negative reviews. This is a vintage style Chinese restaurant , which has a Chinese traditional ambience, a kind of restaurant which you will see in China town , Kolkata. I spoke to Aunty , the owner of the restaurant , and she explained to me that her father came from China and settled in Kolkata. She was born and brought up in Kolkata and they moved to Bangalore around 20 years back . On the contrary to the reviews , she is very jolly and bright . She explained what dishes we can order and suggested a couple of noodles dishes for my son who generally doesn’t like spicy food. She understands Hindi and speaks broken Hindi which is very difficult to understand . Her Hindi dialect can be very easily perceived as rude behaviour. This is a purely vegetarian restaurant serving Indian-Chinese food. The menu has a lot of options to choose from. We ordered soup , a starter and noodles . After the order was taken , the food was freshly prepared in the kitchen. It took around 20 mins for them to prepare the food and serve. All the items were delectable and awesome . Its Chinese food( Indian version of Chinese food) at its best !! . All the dishes were prepared with care and they were mildly spiced. The table already had some Chinese accompaniments like soy sauce, chilli vinegar , and a chilli ketchup which acted like appetiser elevator. We ordered whatever was suggested by the owner Aunty , The restaurant has a small but clean washroom and also clean hand wash basin . It doesn’t have a dedicated ;parking space, but you can park your vehicle on the adjacent road. Overall , this is a very good Chinese restaurant , where you will get many kinds of veg Indo-chinese delicious food.

Yes its a chinese pure veg restaurant. The food is awesome here. If you're a hardcore junk and spicy food eater, then this is not the place you might like but you can give it a try. Their menu is big. I'd recommend to try soups and flat noodles here. Starters are awesome. Chinese traditional ambience and washrooms are okay okay. One thing to keep in mind - you will have to order whatever you want to in one time, owner is a bit hyper and would shout if you're ordering again and again. Hit like if helpful.

4 star is really for the great food they provide and 1 star they loose due to service I entered the restaurant with review comments about owner in my mind..! But I was convinced to make this one of my fav Chinese restaurant in HSR.. Owner lady is little crazy but she tries to manage everything which makes her sound rude.. The food was real hit and menu is huge.. we ordered a starter and 1 noodle and 1 macaroni and all of em were beyond my expectation.. Definitely a must visit Vegetarian Chinese restaurant..!! And yeah this is my first pure vegetarian Chinese experience and it stood different. Definitely service can be improved to make it better

The place was easy to locate and navigation was fairly accurate. This is a purely vegetarian restaurant serving Asian cuisine. The ambience is calm and quiet, but might be lovely during peak hours. The menu has a lot (phew!) of options to choose from. We ordered a soup, a starter and a main course and a side dish to go with it. We expected the dishes to be strongly spicy, however, they were mild and the flavours didn't drown with the spice. Overall a nice experience. Service was fairly quick too. Parking space might be a problem as the roadside is all you have. While two wheelers might be okay with that, 4 wheelers might not. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of food served. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely Brilliant veg (yeah veg!l Chinese food place. The skillful prep is mind-blowing in it's simplicity and amazing in quality and taste. The place is almost 14 years old. Must try is the drums of heaven which uses a sugarcane stick as the bone. Lovely. The ambience is old world China. The family is from the Tangra area of Kolkata so yes the Chinese is as authentic as it can get

It's a Chinese vegetarian restaurant located near cpwd quarters HSR Layout, we were quite preplexed after seeing the board Chinese vegetarian so we went ahead to taste the cuisine, they are vegetarian but they also have option of adding fish sauce and also oyster sauce so that part we need to be clear while ordering to mention not to add any kinda fish sauce. Tastewise it's like normal Chinese restaurant, we ordered fried tofu that's nothing but panner dipped in batter and deep fried or we can say panner bhajji, and veg schezwan fried rice and veg noodles taste was ok.good for family price was bit high.

Good tasty food, authentic Chinese taste and vibes. That's what you'll get here. But please lower your hospitality expectations before you come here. Plus, they won't serve you a basic like warm water, nor they use chop sticks.

Yummy and delicious authentic Chinese food. It's a veg restaurant but food is awesome which will ignite your taste buds within budget. I had good time eating here.
