Review Madura Restaurant - Bengaluru

Ordered mutton leg soup through Zomato. Was delivered quick. Liked the soup too. Will regularly try the soup and other dishes and share a more detailed review.

Ordered for mutton leg soup, chicken kabab, and chicken fried rice with more spicyness.. so i was suggested to try schezwan chicken fried rice which was not much tasty. It could have been a much better. Leg soup was good. Even kababs were tasty and soft.

Food is very tasty. Best for party orders. The staff's behaviour is humble. Both quality and quantity of food is exemplary. They provide best food at reasonable rates.
nitin kumar
Authentic Tamil nadu food made by a madurai family. Taste is very good and the menu has some items that are not available everywhere like mutton pallipalayam and chicken chintamani. All these at very affordable prices.

Masala vada was last day’s or 12hr old and re-heated and was dripping with oil....chutney was stale and smelling horribly. I don’t want to comment on the idly and vada...looked like old stock.
Stop selling such food to customers. If you want take more money but don’t be such a scumsters and fraudaters to save money in serving stale food.
Hitesh
Bad experience. After lockdown their taste reduced. Won't order again.
Devansh Pradeept Nigam
Poor quality food, too many hygiene issues, not at all sanitized, got stomach upset since after eating food here.
#nothyegenic #notworthit #wastefood

Like other franchises this place does not have consistency, taste or quality like the original or what it was few years back wish them luck

Good tamil food. Fast service, pricey for the portion size.

Life saver at parties! Love ordering ghee roast dosas from here.

We had visited this place about 5 years ago when this one was cozy place and I guess was new. It wasn't as posh as this one. Today we ordered podi idli and rawa masala Dosa. Dosa was cold and podi idli was tasteless. Place was deserted only two tables were occupied at 8.30pm. classic example of how attention deficit can create a havoc in otherwise a look forward to place.

a really delicious breakfast especially their sambar, its really yummy with pongal and mini idlis. A healthy and nutritious breakfast for a perfect day
Thota Subramanyam
Nothing special nothing to mention specific regular misplacing the orders delivery items were not upto he mark
Yashoda Siddharth
Please stop serving in plastic plates, and I found a hair in my plate, very unhygienic and the tables & chairs were too dusty . Staffs are inattentive . Please work on these , I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . All round very bad experience with food and hygiene
Abdul Rahman
Good food and nice ambience. I loved their crispy idly. fried idlis topped with podi and onions. its a must try. and their coffee is also a must try.
Sonia Serrao
They refused to serve hot food. Got a cold soggy Vada and on asking the server to exchange it for a hot one he refused as if I was being unreasonable !
Pradeep Kumar
Worst experience of all time.
Order was late by 1 hour and they delivered wrong items. Sometimes can be be decent but otherwise don’t rely on it.

I have been to their Domlur and Koramangala outlets and loved the food there. However, that is not the same with this outlet. We visited this place on a Sunday evening for a quick bite but returned home dissatisfied and still hungry.
We chose to sit in the service area on the first floor; were quite surprised with how spacious and well decorated the interior was as compared to the other two outlets mentioned above.
Ordered for filter coffee, cheese masala dosa, onion dosa and a plate of podi idli.
Filter coffee was strong and pipping hot - just the way I like. Podi idli was quite okay thanks to the coconut chutney that enhanced the taste. We ordered for cheese masala dosa thinking it will be as the name describes but when it was brought to the table, I was disappointed. There was absolutely no cheese , if I remember well, it was just a scoop of cheese on the masala inside. Onion dosa had chopped, sauteed onions with a lot of oil stuffed inside like a regular masala dosa. Never saw an onion dosa like this before.
The reason to why it's a three star from me is because of the coffee, podi idlis and the service.
Looks like the outlet should concentrate more on the food served than beautifying it's space.

The almost perfect south indian place in the heart of bangalore. Madurai Idly shops are saviours. When the sweet-chilly, Bangalore style of sambhar starts taking a toll on you, this is the place to find refuge in. Madurai style Sambhar, properly done Dosa and other dishes. This is the value for money place in Bangalore. The best part is the quality is maintained across the outlets. Try the South Indian combo, the perfect lunch or breakfast combination is served here.
Saileshshetty
Went with some expectation but housekeeping can be improved very much . For the taste & food will rate 2/5 , though the service of the staff is 3/5 .
Swapnil Agrawal
One of the finest place on 80ft road to have idli-dosa-wada. The mini idlies are very good and so are other delicacies served there. Though over the weekend it's difficult to get a table there
Sreejith P
Good service . Excellent south Indian dishes at affordable prices. I would highly recommend it to everyone who plans for a dining out with family.

There is nothing outstanding about this place. The food is not authentic. They are serving plain boiled daal with some sambhar masala which is not worth. They dont have food all the times though their menu is quite elaborated. Never going back again!
The Food Fantasy
Never order for Dosage in Idly Shop, Dosage is from Karnataka period......Tried this Madurai idly shop in 80ft road, ordered butter masala git plain masala, more like paper dosa, potato fully mash like potato puree finally got coffee in fancy copper cup, unfortunately they never bother to clean the tumbler since they can't reach bottom very dirty
Niveditha Kora
Ordered for masala dosa via swiggy and it took more than 10mins for the restaurant to accept the order and more than 25 mins to deliver to me from 80ft road to 12th main. It was so hard and the masala taste was very tangy and as it was unusual the threw away the whole thing. Dunno if it was spoilt. #lostappetite
Jithin M
I had idly vada from this restaurant and it was really good. I also had masala dosa from here. It was pathetic. Very salty. And didn't get coconut chutney.
Chitra Gopinath
The poori we ordered this morning was uncooked. Could still taste the raw flour. This place did not even refund for it's poor quality. Very disappointing.
Khushbu
Located on the C. V. Raman Road in Indiranagar, it's a big outlet with both self service and Dine in
We walked in at around 7pm and it was empty. Ordered for Chilly Idly, Chapatti Korma combo. Food was served in a few mins. Fresh and Hot.
I really liked the Chilly Idly. It was mini idlies, deep fried and then sautéed in Sauces. Yummy.
Chapatti Korma was decent.
Prices are pocket friendly. Decent option for a quick meal
Sudheesh K Surendran
This is one of my favourite place for authentic tamil breakfast items. Had ghee roast, masala dosa and vada multiple times. The coconut chutney and tomato chutney serving with dosa was delicious.
Sivakumar Balachandran
An authentic place for Tamil Nadu style of South Indian food ...the crowd at this place very clearly shows its popularity...

The team needs to however give a serious look into the servicing angle

After more than half an hour of waiting for masala dosas and combo breakfast, we had to leave the place..as we were served only the combo breakfast...not a very good start for a Sunday...
Anusha Prasad
Sometimes I go to this place while going back home from office. They give good idlys. Hygiene food. However I find their idlys too soft😬 it feels like sticking to mouth all the time😐 I find normal Darshani idlys better than this one. If people love too soft idlys they would love this place.
Deeptha Sreedhar
Whenever I have a craving for proper Tamil Nadu idly-sambar or Dosa-sambar, I visit this place of A2B. I find everything on their menu decently priced. Do try their Cheese Dosa, Podi-idly, Kothu Parotta and ghee-Pongal.
Sunil
Horrendous delayed service - idli Sambar and coffee was the order. Food quality is good but all cold by the time it is served . One place to skip from breakfast options
Reetika Sikri
As the name says it's a pure South indian food shop which servers good dosa and tea.. But not prefer it for Chinese food.. Dosa seems to look longer then other places dosa and severed well 😊
Sushmitha Sush
Food is very tasty. Good quantity and reasonable price.

Few staffs are very rude. The food given to me was not hot. The staff got annoyed and started yelling at us to eat the same. So service isn't good.
PK
Very nice sambar. One of the best. The coconut chutney was usual. But the masala dosa was nice. Idli's could have been a little more softer. Overall great value for money and good breakfast option
Arpan Ganguly
Went looking for a quick bite to grab and this place was the closest one available, looked pretty decent from the outside so thought of going and checking it out. Ordered a plate of Idli and Vada along with a Butter Masala Dosa. The idli and vada were a bit disappointing as they were served cold first of all and the chutneys and accompaniments were not that satisfying either.

The dosa was decent and tasted better than the other two but would’ve liked it better if the chutney and sambar had more flavor to it. The only thing that was real good was the filter coffee ☕️

Overall a so-so experience but go ahead and try it out for yourself! 🤙
Sharan Sridhar
Pathetic. Don't ever order from here. I had ordered idly vada parcel from the hotel as walk in customer on December 20th 2018 at around 4.15 pm. Came home and opened the parcel to consume the food and chutney has gone stale. People can get food poisoned eating food here. Called up the number mentioned in the website. He said we will refund the amount calmly. These guys need to learn to keep food hygenichygie. Going to complain to BBMP food committee and have a case booked.

Pitstop for ravishing South Indian meals!
Madurai Idly shops are spread across Bangalore and I had tried various items from their menu. The cost is at par. I had thali meals which costs Rs. 100/- as would any premium restaurants price. The waiter who serves the dishes is dressed in a typical brahmin style, wearing lungi and no chappals. They provide enough quantity to fill your belly. Their dishes exceed customer expectations and you'll want to visit this place again to delight yourself!
Jehosh Chris
My friend in bengaluru brought me here as its his favourite place for Sunday breakfasts. We ordered onion dosa and poori. Onion dosa was accompanied with two chutneys and sambar. The sambar had a normal tamilnadu taste unlike the sweet Bengaluru typed sambar. The price matches the quality and taste. Ambience is decent for tiffen items.
Irfan Ansari
Ordered using swiggy. Got mini idlis and a vada. There was literally no Chutney and Sambhar. I guess they want their customers to have it with water.
Coming to the taste it was tasteless. I was hoping to have some really nice idlis with spicy sambhar. Such a disappointment it was.
Picture is attached. In a tiny compartment made for chutney it's less than half. Sambhar is no better for so many idlis and an extra vada.
First and last order.
Ranjana
I tried masala dosa and podi idli here. Both were delicious. The bhaji in masala dosa was made to perfection. I really enjoyed it. The chutney and sambhar also tasted good. Recommended.
Pooja Lunia
I've never visited this place and always ordered.
Their mini idli is the most favourite breakfast of mine. I also like Kesari and gulabjamun. Totally recommended in case you are looking for some good south Indian breakfast.
Shruthi Kashyap
Food is good, but service is bad. They need to hire more people to serve and take orders. We had to wait for 25 minutes to place the order and 45 minutes to the food to the table!
Atul Pandey
They have downgraded..earlier they were good.
Found hair in the rave masala dosa..really sad about it. Quality should be maintained , hope they will work on it
Youtuber Rishabh Chatterjee
Had Ghee Masala Dosa here.Food was good and service we quick.Would have like the Dosa to me more crispy. The place is divided into two floors. The ground floor is self service with place to both sit and stand. The first floor is with service and the restrooms are also here. The place is maintained neat and clean.Im not sure about the pricing on the ground floor but on the first floor the prices are not that cheap. The cost of limited meals is 100 rupees.
Kumar
went there hoping for a good south indian filter coffee, Vada and Pongal. Just an ok place for a quick bite and tea / coffee. service needs improvement

So, if you are in Bangalore especially in the monsoon or winter season all you need is a hot steaming glass (read cup) of coffee at Madurai Idly Shop. The filter coffee is the speciality of the outlet.

Madurai Idly Shop really knows how the coffee should be served. They will serve you hot steaming coffee in the brass glass placed in a brass bowl. i recommend that you ask them to make it strong to enhance the experience.

The traditional way of drinking the coffee is that you first empty the glass into the brass bowl. This is done to let the aroma of the coffee fill the air. Just as you pour the coffee and breathe you get the freshh aroma of the coffee which charges you up. Then you empty the bowl back to the glass and you are ready to sip it. We went early in the morning on a day with cloudy sky ready to pour. The aroma the cold breeze and the hot strong filter coffee just set the mood right.

Don't wait just head on to Madurai Idly Shop

I’ve had people talk about how economical this place is, so I wanted to go check out how great the food here is.
Dropped by on a drizzly weekday evening, this is on the 80ft road indiranagar. Easy to locate, parking is a hassle if you’re driving.

Ordered for a plate of single Idly Vada & a Kothu Parata.
I wanted to eat quick so decided to stay on the round floor which is a self service space, they have a first floor which has table service.

Idly Vada
It came with a Sambar and two variants of chutney. The sambar is not the usual sambaars we get served in the sagars, this one’s typical tamilnadu style, drumstick daal sambaar. Which was decent, probably the only thing I liked (my heart always goes with Karnataka Sambaar though).
The idly was decent, not a big fan, I’m a big fan of Vada though, this was a disaster, I’d never eat one if I have to eat from here, it has so much pepper in it and the taste dint please me either.

Kothu Parata
Kothu parata is one of the very renowned dishes in tamilnadu, if I see this on the menu, you’d most probably find me trying it, since it’s madurai idly, I thought I’d like it very much, but it wasnt even decent.

Overall I dint really like the food, I’d pay a little more and eat food that tastes better.
The handwash area was a mess, it wasn’t clean.
Mashanka
This is absolutely the worst South Indian in town. The coconut chutney is completely watered down and transparent, the vadas are frigid ( restaurant manager said they take pride in cold but fresh), the sambar is totally runny and insipid - no hing, no veggies AT ALL, Dosai served soft as a wet hanky- staff so dumb and lazy that a rock would feel capable. This is a travesty on the good name of Madurai, a systematic dereliction of all that is good in tiffin cuisine. On inquiry, we find that many waves of cooks and staff have escaped the tyranny. People are taking up arms, non violent movements, starting religious crusades to get the management to shut down the heinous regime chain of Madurai idli.
Swati Khurana
Too oily. Neither of the chutney was good nor the kesari bath. Tea was good but too costly.

padu was horribly bad with oil leaking and it was stinky too.
Mohammed Anjum Sadiq
I took parcel ven pongal as it was closing time for them.
The quality was just average the sambar was too thick and chutney taste was bad.
Pongal was good in taste with black pepper..
Karishma Agarwal
Beat place to have amazing south Indian food.. Such soft idli and the amZing chutney.. My most favourite.. Been there many a times .. Love the taste of the food u serve and ya one of the best Tea you serve
Mr. V
Kind of regular here since it is very close to my office. Food is generally good and the service on the first floor is worth paying that little extra.

Alvin Christ
Have been here a couple of times, breakfast items like dosa , idly are popular here. The taste of chutnies and Sambar differs every time., sometimes good and sometimes just okay. Their tea ☕️ was 👌🏻. The prices are very much reasonable, one of a best place to fulfill your hunger, within a small budget. Recommended.
Star Chef
This is tha self service restaurant I had one masala dosa and one onion Uttappam both r good and like onion chutny sambar look like as water I never had like this type of sambar
Suhas Chandran
Well I felt that I was ripped off cuz I paid 100 buks for a small cup size quantity of pongal n vada... quantity was hilarious... #ripoff #willnotrecommend
Sherin Stephen
I have been in this place before as well. However, when i came here last week, I realised how similar the food tastes with the one I had numerous times from Tamilnadu. This time we had masala dosa and chilly idly. The chutnies that came with dosa were delightful and it's a must try for anyone liking the south indian palate. The accompanying coffee was also enjoyable even though not the best I had. Overall it felt good after the meal. Price is slightly on the expensive side thought. I've had better or similar dishes from some road side vendors. Still this place is good for a visit. This is the review for this particular branch and not for the entire chain.
Kunal Gandhi
The food is'nt good for south Indian taste buds.. there are other south Indian food joints who serve much better than this.. Needs improvement in ambience

Visited this place on a Sunday night. Ordered for a plain dosa and veechu porotta for take away. Even though it was not crowded took some considerable time to get the food. The food was just ok. The veechu porotta was little hard and didnt like the kuruma. Had eaten from their Koramangala and Marathahalli branches also and one thing I noticed is the taste is not consistent . Some time its good, some times it is bad. I think they get lot of home delivery orders as I saw one swiggy delivery guy telling about the rush on sunday mornings and they have to wait for a long time to get the orders.
S. Bose
I remember this place when it first opened up.
We used to frequent it almost every Sunday morning post service for breakfast.
Went back there after a long time for lunch as I was in the area and craving some sambar rice and porial.

Food:
Had a 'limited meals'. Everything was really scrumptious, except for the curd(buttermilk?) and the payasam which was oversweet.

Pricing:
Value for money.

Service:
A little slow, but it was crowded so I'm willing to overlook that.
That waiter, though, was quite courteous.

Ambiance:
Wonderful! They've really done a good job with the place.

Overall: 3.5/5

⭐⭐⭐

Tried: Ravi Masala Dosa, Idly, Tea & Coffee

Service: good

Ambience: great; loved the way the place has been setup. And whilst there it started to pour and the lovely bangalore weather set in. It was a simply delicious blend of food, ambience and the company.

Monica Valluri
Orders are noted wrongly and they don't even apologize. Worst service ever and I suggest not to go to the service area. You can stand and eat in the ground floor.
Manjunath Sena
I use to come here regularly
This has two floors one is self service and one in first floor with service
The food taste is good and it’s price also pocket friendly
The service is cleanliness is very good
Love to come here again and agian
Manoj
Went for breakfast. Dosa was good but vada was cold and when we asked for hot vada they said they prepare in batches and hence they can't serve hot vada. Bit disappointing overall
T G Asokan
pretty average place for a break fast and if u would like to have quick breakfast ,much and dinner u can visit have one dosa and go .cones to food only vada is good rest all food is not at all good.they should work on the taste part seriously.located in good place and rate is not doo high.I am not recomedibg this place.
Vj@Kmr
Ambience is ok but, The service had been improved than before
The Quality of taste is Really worst which is not worthy.

Only the Various of Edly is favourable and good rest all makes you taste lesss.
Sneha
Pretty ordinary place for food not having great taste at all day by day taste is changing . If you feel hungry and would like to have idly and dosa for a less price you can visit and have a Coffe too. Never try Pongal they don’t know how to prepare Pongal . Not recommending this place.
Sandy Vam
people call it MIS "Madurai Idly Shop"... i call it Miss..i mean i found a lots of things missing in this place ..if some one in calling this place as AUTHENTIC SOUTH INDIAN...i think they need to revisit their thoughts..... lets come to serving..visited this place for dinner...ordered masala, rawa plain and ghee roast..dosas..preparations very average,,the fillings in the dosas was like allo curry,,not acceptable @all. did not order IDLI as the name says Madurai IDLY,,will gather courage to order next time....

parking not available ,,try your luck road side

ground floor self service,,,,pretty grounded...

first floor....WAITer service...

food 3/5

ambience 3/5

VFM .....will post after tasting IDLY..

Came looking for Andal mess which was our favourite Tamil destination in this area, noticed a new one nearby. Walked in here where they have self service facility in ground floor & service in first floor.

Ordered Kothu Parotta & Vada Curry Dosa (favourite from Andal Mess). Vada Curry Dosa is a little dry & Kothu Parotta is decent. But the gravy used in Kothu Parotta wasnt very spicy as it expected to be.

Food - 3.5/5
Ambience - 4/5
Pricing - 3/5

VFM - Not Sure
Dipu
This is one of the average restaurant I visited in Indira Nagar today morning. Had dosa, Pongal and Coffe , dosa Patti was not at all tasty and Pongal was ok ok comes to the Coffe it is a normal one which I can get it from a local shop, sambar is ok but chutney I think it is yesterday’s one . They have to improve a lot
Shraddha Bhowad
Ordered a breakfast of Idli-Wada and Rava Masala Dosa.

Delivery was prompt and the food was hot. What else do I need? Idli and Wada were fresh, yummy and just like I wanted. Chutney and Sambhar were okeyish though. I am a big fan of 'tadka wali coconut chutney', but I could never figure out why I am unable to get it in South. I am yet to taste a yummy coconut chutney in Bangalore. Anyway, Rava Dosa was insignificant. It's been only half an hour and I already forgot the taste.

Would definitely go for their varieties of Idlis and Idyiappam now. (Hopefully without Chutneys)
Arindam Majumdar
This is a nice no-frills South Indian eatery in Indiranagar 80 ft road just near Thippasandra junction.

I like the Idli and the Dosa served at this place. The Dosa tastes different from the Dosa served in many other outlets in Bangalore, probably because its made in the Tamil Nadu style. One noteworthy thing is that unlike many other outlets, their portions have less oil and chillies, and seems healthier to me. They also have quite a few combo-s that are great value for money.

Worth dropping in if you are in the vicinity.
Shailesh Kulal
I orderd masala dosa., puri, and idli through swiggy.. Masala dosa was not hot.. Puri not upto the mark.. No salt in chutney... Sambar was good... Idli and vada also good...
Niranjan
The podi idly was horrible here. Taste is not consistent across their outlets. The guy at the cash counter is clueless and said this is how it's made in Madurai?! Not stepping in again.
Raj
This is my daily breakfast place. Sometimes lunch and dinner place too. Yes, there are days when I have all my 3 meals at MIS. Since it's right beside my office, I visit for evening tea/coffee breaks too.

They serve good south Indian food - idly, dosa, vada and uttampam. Their menu is quite extensive and I've literally tried most of the items. I personally like Adai dosa, rava dosa, and podi masala dosa. Adai dosa is rarely available, so you can consider yourself lucky if you manage to get it. They also serve chinese items like fried rice and gobi manchurian. They provide south Indian and north Indian meals during lunch time too.

They serve tea, coffee, and fresh juices. I like lime juice and mosambi. However, I don't like their filter coffee. Too much sugar for my taste.

They have 2 areas; one is self service and another is seating area where they serve you. The prices are litlle higher in the upper seating area. They accept card for orders above Rs. 200/-.

Overall a good place for south Indian meals.
Siya Parmar
Have been here couple of times now, and each time has been amazing. The ambiance and service is impeccable - true to it being a 5 star property.

I would recommend landing here truly hungry and trying their massive thali - you would enjoy the overall flavour and variety.
Varun Khanna
bad sambhar, cold idli n vada. sambhar seemed to taste like daal. I had to repeatedly confirm from the waitor if it's sambhar because it wasn't tasting like the usual sambhar. onion utthapa was also avg. worst ever South Indian food I might have ever had
Gayathri Sudhir Nayak K
Very very poor service .Its annoying to keep waiting to place the order... especially when u have waiting for 30 mins..no many waiters to attend the customers😠😤
Skinnygirldiariez
Absolutely love this place, I order my breakfast or when ever I have some cravings to have some awesome masala dosa or those button idli. The sambar is always spot on.
Ashmita Ghimiray
Super budget friendly restaurant. Easy to fetch for an early morning breakfast if you’re on the run. Their sambhar is really nice which makes everything else delicious.

Must try - filter coffee
Narayan Naik
Madurai Idli shop is always know for their Idli & Dosa.
You should try their Mini Idli which is served with a different type of thick sambar which is really good.
Their Idli and vada is also good. Dosa served here is pretty decent.
Harsha Kn
Visited this place for lunch... tried their lunch... it was ok... also had schezwan fried rice which was good... ambience of this place is gud 4/5
Suganthy Priya
Masala dosa is not up to the level
Sudha
I've been to madurai idly shop several times, even before the place was upgraded.
Though the seating, ambience is much better than before, the food quality has declined. My favorite is podi mini idly and the dosa varities are all decent. But the last visit, I felt the idlies were hard. It's a good place for breakfast but there's a room for improvement.
Bhavesh Mamodia
Good South Indian earlier but now quality is getting down. If you are ordering Juice please ask them not to add Water as its their understanding to add water in preparation of every juice (don't know who teach them this).
Tabrez Bash Basha
@Indiranagar Madurai idly shop
Food - 4.5
Ambience - 3
Service - 2.5
Hygiene - 4
Visited this place for a cold blushing weather to try out some hot steaming 'paniyaram' it's also called Kuzhi paniyaram, Paddu or Gunta, which is served only in the evening which it's a good thing. And coming to next one of our regular routines Idly Vada South Indian dishes, not every hotels serves an homemade style of sambhar 'MIS' do which turns out to be fabulous. A very good place to have a healthy home style breakfast 👏👏👍
Rajeev Ramachandran
Been there multiple times, food is okish types with some varieties. I mostly go for Idiyappams and those are good. Not much to say about service and staffs since it is a self service restaurant.
Uthra Jayakumar
The food is pocket friendly and value for money. One of the few places that serve authentic Tamil Nadu sambar. Their pongal and filter coffee is my personal favourite.
Ramesh Menon
Although this place certainly has a potential to be great, what is missing out for it is basic understanding for food aesthetics and robust flavours. Called for a idly vada which was decent, the chutneys and sambhar is authentic and well made. Masala Dosa was the one that was above average. But Poori Masala was disappointing as masala was kinda too gravy-ish and Poori was dry and thick as a rubber. Masala Dosa is the only dish I would recommend to try here.
Karishma.4994
Good place everyday meals. Have been here multiple times. Have had home delivery as well. The food is always fresh and tastes good as well. All the items are reasonably priced.
P Basu
OMG I ordered rawa masala dosa and vada today and boy was I floored. The sambar was the best sambar I had in ages. It was so good I had a bowl full of it just like that. Their vadas have also become super crispy and light. I have ordered like a zillion times before but something has happened and its happened for the better. The Vadas were also a lot crispier and lighter. Whatever miracle has happened, a new chef or whatever. Please don;t let that go.
Garima Singh
All my rating goes to the filter coffee they serve.. It is a perfect blend of sugar coffee and milk. Nothing goes less or extra. We visited here after having a soulful dinner and it made my whole day after having filter coffee here. We were totally refreshed. I am not sure about their any other dishes as have never tried but I can guarantee on the coffee.. No coffee lover would deny liking it.
Atulya Kaushik
Is good for quick delivery and one of be largest chain for South Indian delicacy. I will recommend ordering Curf Vada and Mysore Masala Dosa along with idli.

The quantity of food is ample great for satisfying meal.
EkDuj
Idli's are not light and fluffy. How can you screw up idli's? It's called Madurai Idly shop for God's sake. The sambar is just pass, close to fail.
Nishanth Prabhu
If you are craving for TN style idly dosa especially Rava dosa and it's kind, you can head to this place. Nothing extra ordinary. Decent food. Quick service.
Vivek Chandrakant
The food doesn't taste good, let alone exceptional. Dosas which should be thin are thick. Chutney has no taste. Food seems aired out/dry. Couldn't finish our plates. Definitely not worth eating at.
Zoeb Akhtar
It's open air restaurant but due to gutter foul smell just outside the restaurant. Unbearable to sit and eat with the smell.. First and last time visiting.. Please avoid for dine in..

Good value for money. While the ground-floor has self-service, the first floor has a nice dining with Service.

Must try:
Chilli Cheese Dosa
Paneer Masala Dosa
Veg Fried Rice

The South Indian Meals served during lunch is very good and a great value for money.

Breakfast is equally good with Venn-Pongal and Red (Tomato Onion) Chutney taking the honours.

Terrible food! Heard a lot about this place but had a horrid experience when dropped down to the place to have a quick bite.

................
