One of crowded place in HSR for Tea and filter coffee. It's Opposite to Hsr playground, and landmark in itself. Crowed here is next level, you may get better business ideas, you may find some startup founder discussions. The quality of food and the service are just surprisingly great. You can expect a homely food. The taste of Idly,Vada Sambar is excellant and shall go with your breakfast or lunch in a great fitting way. Good Garden service area having Masala Dosa prepared with Nandini pure ghee is a very tasty item for tiffin. Maddur Vada with Karabath combination is a special item in the chain of Nandini Cool joint.You get a variety of Akki Roti, Ragi Roti, where you dont find anywhere near in and out of HSR Layout.The chaats are very popular here which yet to try For those people who cannot afford time too much or a leaisure breakfast,there is a self service & family service point. Standard Nandini outlet in HSR layout. You can get all sorts of Nandini sweets as well as drinks here. Parking is available right beside. You can sit and take a break here out in the open. Good place to grab a tea as well as coconut biscuits after a long day. Personally I always get a 10rs buttermilk to cool down. Update: Visited here again and I tried out the pista milk. Great flavour. Got a Madur Vada as well and it was a nice snack too!

A Self service joint for Typical South Indian food and home to all Nandini Products. The serving of food is very fast even during rush hours. The ambience is ok but the A/C hall isn't functioning. There is no designated parking slot.

Great place for tea, coffee, snacks, tiffin items, and of course their original business, dealer for all Nandini products. You have sufficient place for sittting too. It is also a great place to hangout for the younger generation. Parking is also available in the area.

Nandini cool joint is always cool . This is located centrally at hsr layout second sector circle just beside the Sri sai mandira .

Had only tea over here as food area is being closed from last three days I have visited. The ginger tea is best. Although the price is 17rs but you can feel ginger essence in it. They have other products also like badam shake,coffee,bounvita,hot milk and other dairy products.

A nice little place where you can sit and sip on your tea and have a nice conversation. This place is not as flashy as a café but a very cozy place to discuss politics and football. You will rarely find it crowded on a Saturday evening. We usually come here after an evening stroll to have a tea which is always refreshing.

They have outdoor dining space as well, and serve tea, coffee, other than dairy products plus nandini branded packed sweets. They accept mobile payments along with cash, but card payment is not available.

A decent place for a quick breakfast in HSR. The combo is value for money. I particularly like the outdoor seating area they have. Perfect spot to spend a Sat/Sun morning chatting with your friends. Also, don't forget to try the filter coffee. It's excellent. Just ask for a strong one.

Good place to hang out for a quick coffee and some basic snacks. Ample parking on the road makes it a decent place for a quick bite. Tables with chairs and standing tables available. Pretty good natural cover and good breeze because of the open spaces of the grounds and temple nearby.

It's a very good place for a quick bite. Food is good and tasty, chats here in the evenings are really good. Its a little crowded because of the taste and easiness to the pocket. They have recently started the close door dine in place. It's a good place to grab something for some one who is on the move.

This Nandini franchise is a place, which starts serving from 6:00 AM in the morning till 9:30 PM. We have visited this place numerous times in last 3 years for tea/coffee, fresh breakfast and sumptuous evening snacks. We visited occasionally for lunch as well.<br/><br/>This time also, we reached there early in the morning fir our breakfast. We ordered Dipped Vada, Idli, Mini Tiffin Thali and Masala Dosa along with Tea. Mini Tiffin includes one small masala dosa, one idli, one vada, kara bhaat and kesri bhaat. All of these items are great in themselves and over all offering was just great.<br/><br/>In past also, we have tasted variety of stuff at this place and never got disappointed.<br/><br/>They have good covers open space arrangements fir seating and keep it clean. On the pricing part, you don't need to think even once.

So we literally walk into this place in our pajamas for our late Saturday breakfast. They're quick coz it's self service and yes, the menu is reasonably priced. We order their masala dosas, vadas and filter coffees. Their dosas always manage to be crispy, yummy and loaded with ghee (and I mean this in a healthy way:D) I like their outdoor seating arrangement of stone benches where you can sit and sip your coffee and at the same time enjoy the morning breeze. Ah, love this place!

Usually I visit this place for quick coffees...it has few seatings and self service...like their coffees and tried dosa and few other chats .A reasonable small place, also provides other nandini products.They have open area seating...A place to chit chat...all type of crowd ...good!

This place is on 19th main ..Just opposite to BBMP playground.<br/><br/>Ambience is ok. They have open area where you can sit and have food.<br/><br/>I tried here quick items like idli, vada ,dosa and tea.<br/><br/>All were ok in taste according to amount they charge.<br/><br/>Service is quick and staff is good.<br/><br/>Overall average experience.

My rating- 3.5/5<br/>A small cafe cum Nandini franchise, serving quick meals apart from packaged products, ice creams and milk shakes. The seating is minimalistic in the open. I tried some breakfast options here. <br/>The combo meal has masala dosa which was very crisp and I enjoyed it. . Vada, kesari bhaath , khara bhaath were equally tasty. Sambhar could have been better. Idli was as it should be. <br/>Rava dosa was just average. Tea / coffee added a good accompaniment with the meal. <br/>I have previously also tried chaats here and I feel you can try them here if you don’t have other options. For me chaat here stood average.<br/><br/>It is self service here.<br/>Value for money- pocket friendly

Decor - The best part of restaurant is the location. Right on the heart of HSR, it is a nice place to sit and relax though there is hardly any chair to sit.  Please do not ask for hygiene as it is a perfect darshini for quick eat and move. The place is always full and packed still I have never faced any problem for parking.<br/><br/>Food - I will limit my review only to the South Indian breakfast as I honestly admit that I have not tasted other items they offer. Dosa is crisp, tasty and have a nice ghee aroma. However the samber and chutney are not to my linking. The khara bhaat and kesari Bhaat are equally delicious. The badas are crisp and well cooked. The idlis are just OK. However my favorite is the filter coffee. Full of aroma, the coffee leaves a long after effect on the palate. I just gave additional 1 mark for the coffee. I wish they can improve their Samber bit more. I have also tried their poori and saagu which are very tasty. <br/><br/>Price - The restaurant provides great value for money and the nice cool breeze under the tamarind tree in front of the hotel will wake you up in a lazy Sunday. Highly recommended...

Does not deserve to be at heart of hsr area.. Poor service and sitting area full of mosquitoes.. They don't accept card or paytm too.. Taste wise OK.. Wish they improve overall..

This place is located beside BBMP playground. Offers idlies & Vada's in 20 bucks with sambar & Chutney & a mini filter coffee in 10 bucks. The sitting arrangements were there in a small park like area. Self Service place. A preferred place during the morning run.

Typical South Indian Authentic Restaurant with Mouth watering breakfast. The food is simply outstanding and worth every penny. A nice place to have breakfast/evening snacks time which is tasty , cheap and quality food at one place in HSR Layout.<br/> <br/>Ambiance is too good , it has a Garden stone benches though for sitting while you eat , started with kharabath which was awesome followed by crispy uddina vada with Idly Sambar & Masala dosa which was crispy and yummy prepared with Nandini Ghee.  One should try at least once for breakfast.<br/>I love the filter coffee here which is too good and now where u find the coffee taste surrounding HSR layout.<br/><br/>Family service area too available . <br/><br/>I feel its a  Typical South Indian Authentic Restaurant must visit to get true taste of Bangalore food for breakfast in HSR layout.

Cool Joint brings warm and fuzzy memories of the Cool Joint in Jayanagar which my family used to frequent when we were young. Nandini Cool joint, however, doesn't.<br/><br/>Writing a bad review is never easy. As someone who has helped her brother's food business in the past, I know how hard it can be to read something nasty.<br/><br/>So, I'm going to try to be polite here.<br/><br/>Well I'll try.<br/><br/>Here goes.<br/><br/>*Deep breath*<br/><br/>The Pani Puri doesn't have potato. There. I said it.<br/><br/>How is Pani Puri called Pani Puri without its signature aloo stuffing. That's like calling a burger, a burger without a patty or a momo a momo without its stuffing.<br/><br/>Nope.<br/><br/>But, that's not why my rating is low.<br/><br/>I found an ant in my sambar. It had died on my watch.<br/><br/>A dosa that I was devouring until up came an ant. An ant was drowning in my sambar and I was too busy not to notice. Two things went wrong that day - I couldn't save a drowning ant. Also, my sambar had an ant.<br/><br/>Worst. Day. Ever.<br/><br/>Rated 3 for the yummy dosa which never got eaten whole.

Amazing place to taste the best of South India. If u r a foodie you will love it, I had been there Nandini Cool Joint HSR layout early morning to taste their crispy crunchy #masaladosa lip smacking chutney and potato palya that goes with it -Idly/Vada with sambar and was floored with the taste. <br/><br/>The dosa was topped with ghee with crispy n crunchy the way I loved it ..<br/>their yummy kara/kesari bath is too good. They serve Bisibele bath garnished with our very own khara boondhi was a treat in the heat.<br/><br/>The coffee is so strong and so good, that it's a must for caffeine addicts.<br/><br/> It has become favourite pit stop for many HSRians to sip early morning #coffee n #masaladosa #or Combo tiffin with a reasonable price <br/><br/>Chats taste like Bombay Chats with Blended authentic taste.<br/>Ice Cream are always the favourite flavours, but each flavour of ice cream or sundae is heavenly at  Nandini Cool joint. Ice Creams are tasty prepared from Nandini Ice Creams.<br/>They sell Nandini milk & curd all the time at MRP.  They sell other Nandini products  like Sweets, Milk powder, Paneer, Badam powder, Gulab jamun mix etc.<br/><br/>We always the found the staff to be cheerful and helpful.<br/><br/> Would never think twice about going there. My day starts with Nandini Cool Joint HSR layout.<br/><br/>Value for money!  Satisfied with the quality and the quantity.  One must try atleast once.

Although it doesn't look like much they make great masala dosas and the chaats aren't half bad. I just come for the masala dosa which in my opinion is the best for its price in hsr.

You can find milk & curd all the time at MRP. Also it's famous for south Indian snacks and tea. Mostly crowded in morning n evening time. They sell other Nandini products as well like Paneer, Gulab jamun mix etc.

After a morning walk step in for a hot coffee. You'll find it amazing. If you are hungry, grab a plate of idli vada or upma. The seating arrangement is made outside in the middle of greenery. Facing the restaurant is a playground. You'll find youngsters playing cricket and seniors practising laughter therapy and group exercises. <br/>Good place for a Sunday breakfast if you are an early bird and live in/ around HSR.
