Review The Mad Teapot Cafe - Bengaluru

Soumya Mishrikoti
The ambience of this place is really amazing! It's really good for dates, to sit and chill, and for the official meetings. It's a very calm place with really happening decor in the surrounding. This is definitely Instagram worthy place. However, the food here isn't that great and the variety is less. So, it's a 4 start for me!

The place is so lovely! It gave me such happy vibes. It's basically everything I like about a place, vibrant, starry, happy lights and of course a touch of madness. The decor is done up with lots of nice, quirky stuff, and the cafe serves good food. I tried one of their veg sandwiches and loved it also they have tea from Tea Trunk which is a favorite. So all in all, 5 stars. It's a good place to go with company, as well as for some alone time.

The place is be very mesmerizing. They have a limited vegetarian menu but worth trying. They are reasonable as well. Staff is sweet and courteous. The washroom was really well maintained. The items which were up for display were also the ones we could buy. The cafe area is nice and quiet if you wanna talk for hours with good ambience and no disturbance this is a must go. Would surely go back with my girl friends. Very very beautiful maintained small simple cafe.

Be it a coffee date, a business meet or to enjoy a peaceful solitude, I’d recommend this place. I browsed through their artistic home decor products whilst I waited for my lips-smacking hot mocha. I chatted with the staff briefly and they are very friendly. The place has a magical vibe and I’d definitely revisit this place. ✨

Their cupcakes are dollops of heaven! N good sandwiches n tea. Quirky small cafe with attached gift shop... perfect for a date or meet up old friend in a colourful lit up place with snacks and descent service. Gifts are pricy but pretty n menu is small but good. But it closes too soon for dinner
Nithya Jayachandar (Behappy)
Beautiful Cafe! So here, you may place an order and do a little shopping. They have very cute and hand crafted household things. The atmosphere is pleasant and the cozy chairs and the lights are spot on! Not a place to go for a date but u can catch up with ur friends or ur girlie gang and yes that crafty shopping. But they do not have much menu options in the Cafe.

Really cute place to visit. It has a small cafe which offers some bevreges and light snacks. And this cafe is inside the wishing chair store. The store offers such pretty collection of staionaries and decorative items. Definitely a must visit place if you are into such things or looking for some gift items. The price is pretty reasonable as well.

The madtea pot cafe is located in 100ft road Indiranagar write below the metro line. It's a cute place situated at a corner with lovely ambience. It is basically a cafe attached to a store, where they sell home decors, books, candles, clothes, accessories, mirrors and what not in the same place,It's usually difficult to find rare and amazing antique pieces of decor all in one place. It is a best place to drink some amazing tea. The place has a magical vibe and it's the best place to go if u wanna get away some lone time away from world. This place is known for its amazing flavoured rarely findable tea. Food: 1) Twistys Tom tom spagetti- it had an Italian vibe with sundried tomatoes, black olives, paparika, and parmesan and the soft cooked spagetti which just melted in my mouth 2) Autumn tea with rose petals and lemon balm- and aahh, I was on my way to heaven,The exoticness of the tea just gave me a lot of energy 3) The first flush with lavender and lemongrass-which had the essence of lavender :) Service is a little late but still the magic vibe of the place never makes u get bored❤️

This place is just artsy.! If you go head over heels over handmade crafty stuff or love little decors then this place is just right for you. It's a Store + Cafe. A very nice concept. They serve you Beverages and sweet Savories along with other stuff. Must visit place.
Saurabh Mishra
I loved this place because of ambiance & simplicity. Among the daily rush & crowd it's perfect place to relax & eat its delicious delicacy. I will definitely ask you guyz to try it's red velvet cake. It is simply amazing.
Neha Das
The space is decorated very beautifully since it is hosted within the "Wishing Chair" shop. They have great teas served in equally great teapot-cup combo. The food here is decent, but be warned that this is a vegetarian place.
Naveen Jayan
Loved the food there, especially the farm sandwich. The ambience was surreal. Felt like a dream. We had half a heart to buy another bite and stay there longer.
vinay Khandelwal
we often look for a place to sit and work or read, i found this cafe so fabulous in that terms. Craft items displayed there will amaze you for sure and the peace in general afternoon will help you to enjoy whatever you are doing there alongwith good pasta
Gunjan Sharma
Nice ambience and great products available. Wide variety of teas to choose from alongwith a sandwich.
Anjali Shenoy
Food was decent, but the shop was very cute and affordable. It's mainly famous for shopping, while the cafe is adjunct to the store.
Prasoon Gokhe
Very nice and bright ambiance. They have very great concept of having cafe and shop together. Drinks are also amazing
Anusha Rastogi
An absolute delight to the eyes, decor is super chic, serves good portions, flatbreads are really nice.

This bewitching cafe is located inside The Wishing Chair store right next to Toit. You could really get lost in their quirky concept and interiors. Love how the store is done up and a lot of what they offer - from home decor to stationery and attractive gifting items. The Mad Teapot is a wonderful extension to the store, serving customers a range of teas and coffee and delicious eats, nice break while you’re drooling at the endless collection. The Rose Oolong tea was my choice and a cappuccino for my friend. They served the same in the prettiest infuser teapot that I have ever come across along with some biscuits. Their desserts are pretty delicious as well. Would love to try more!

Mad Teapot- The kinda decor you dream of! Can’t get over how whimsical the Mad Teapot Cafe’s decor is!

Every nook and cover is so enchanting. Perfect to cozy up with a Book & some tea on a rainy evening!🌧

Now, won’t you like your bed to be dreamy as this?

Food is amazing.
Worth the money! Quality & Quantity on point!!

The place was super cool.. bought amazing goodies as well.. the food was okayish. The service of Sharifuddin was amazing, he also clicked a lot of group pictures for us 🥳🤩

This place is a must visit esp for the ambience ♥️

Loved the decor and interiors. Good place to chill out. Also the display items were very unique and exotic as well. Please try this place out at once. Food is good. One should try the caramel shake.... Very subtle and leaves a lingering taste that you are bound to cherish.

Cafe with a satisfying ambience!

Price - 800 for two
UB Food Rating - 4/5
UB Ambience Rating - 4.5/5
A pleasing place to sit and spend some quality time with your favourite person. Loved the ambience and the clam in the cafe. Also the pasta and tea was great.
Neeraja Raman Kutty
This is a vegetarian place. Not so bad. Tea was really great and so was the baked cake. The menu is limited. Great for a cosy little place. Staff is limited and takes time to attend.
Achismita Pandey
Just loved the interior design.. I found it really cute.. You can shop scented candles, home decorating items, dress & some other cute little things. They serve you the best cold coffee in the city..

Nice cozy ambience

Ambience- Brunching at this quaint and super Insta worthy cafe. This place indeed is a must visit for any body who loves fairy tales, super elegant and oh soo beautifully decorated cafe which I have ever seen in India! Full marks on decor.
Food- We wanted to try their hot chocolate(Disappointing!, not appropriately hot at all and very fluid!)
The magicians salad party (This was cucumber, green and yellow bell peppers, feta cheese, olives and slightly tangy and slight sweet vingareettee- The salad was crunchy, which I enjoyed), The winter woodland’s vegetable pasta was spaghetti with olives, bell peppers and generous dose of olive oil. Little dey for my liking though, The rainbow roundabout was very nice, it was more like a tasting menu of the different flat breads, I can also call it super mini pizza with different toppings.
For dessert, I tried their butter cake with spicy frosting ( So well made buttery cake with slightly spicy frosting on top. It tasted amazing as I had asked the server to slightly heat then cake!)
Customer service- Good
Value for money- Decent
Trishna Bhatt
It’s a fancy looking shop in shop cafe. One can shop fancy stationaries and sip on some coffee to unwind. Place ya so cute and tastefully done. Ambience is great for couples or small groups (2-3 pac), no for big groups.Staffs were courteous and prompt. Overall a fancy cafe. Totally Instagramable

Located at a cozy place right next to Toit, it's a catch hard to miss out on.
The place is beautifully decorated with artisan items that the customers can buy at a fair price. It includes tea cups, kettles, lights, vases, decorative items, books, cards, even pillow and a bed with fairy lights garlanded all over the place !

The table seating is less. So make sure you come in at the right time. They are known for their healthy diet plan with a variety of tea to choose from(Jasmine, green tea, exotic flower) served in awesome teacup and kettle, enabling one to pour them in at their own leisure.

Food sounds even healthy. Had their Panini Cheese Vegetable sandwich which was an absolute delight (had to parcel though, quantity at the higher side )

Also, they hosts cupcakes and I had to try out their Choco Beauty Cupcake 💞. Worth the calories!
#madteapotcafe #foodporn #foodstagram #foodblogger #foodpics #oneplus6 #bengaluru #bangalorefoodies #bangalorefood #njblogsfood

Visiting this place is a therapy for those who love art. More than the food, it is the ambience that just takes your breath away. Most of the asthetic products are from the wishing chair and it's on sale. It's a beautiful decor. I would recommend the three flower tea, more than the taste, it's the experience of having that tea that you will remember. Coffee and cupcakes is also nice.
Bhavya
Nice place in a nook but feels a little overwhelming with the store walk-ins.
Tara
What an absolute gem this store is! It's cute, it's cosy, it has good food (although veg) and good coffee. The store is all pink and flowery and happy, and a delight to the senses!
Foodie
Perfect instagram-worthy cafe. You would end up going here more for pics of all things cute (those items on sale are atrociously expensive) than for the food. Delivery is slow. The one dish that we ordered was also wrongly delivered. The flatbread we got (Island of Greek stories) was thin crust, crunchy with a delicious cheese layer.
Anusha
This place is just wow.. The collection of items on sale here were simply great though a bit expensive. And the cupcakes were love. The ambience, the energy of this place, those beautiful corner seatings, everything is worth visiting.
Shobitha
Well! Its one of those cafes that takes you into a beautiful little British place with lots of colorful and cute tea-pots, notebooks , gardening decors, interior hanging pots, mirrors and what not. You do find rare merchandise here along with some space for you to sit in peace, & munch along.

Coming to the food part, there is not much on the menu. They do have some good variety of teas. I tried the berry blush and it was refreshing. Their sphegattis are supposedly nice. I also ordered their farm sandwich was simple and tasty.

This place is more attractive due to its wonderful decor. Do go there for some peaceful, quite time with a nice ambience whilst you enjoy your tea. Not so much on the food side.
Mou Das
What a site! Such a beautiful place. The place offer with all the DIY decor for place it anywhere, be it home or work. Also has a cafe inside serves you from pizzas, pastas, confectionery, juices, tea and coffee... So this place satisfy your eye as well as soul.
The best part I found is people working in their laptops and at the same time chill around with friends, no doubt the place gives you such positivity, work feels pleasurable.♥️♥️
Manisha
With a pleasing and sweet ambiance, it's a nice place to chit chat with your bff and sip your favorite drink.
Food - They don't have more options in their menu and food is ok.

The mad teapot cafe located right next to glens bake house in indiranagar, is a really pretty aesthetic cafe. I loved the decor , they have some really nice notebooks, pots, photo frames and other cute things which are also for sale. Talking about food they have a very limited menu and a wide variety of teas.
I tried the berry blush tea which was okay. I loved the spaghetti, it was so authentic with sauce on the top and not mixed with the spaghetti.
It’s definitely one of the instagrammable cafes out there in Bangalore.

This place has a beautiful ambience with good pocket friendly dishes served on the menu.

We tried flat-bread and KitKat chocoship freak shake both was nice.
Also, they have some merchandise and home decor on sale which you can purchase there in.

Liked it.
Janani
Tried the Healthy Stomach tea (quite herb-y) and the roasted veggie pasta which was well made.

The music is nice, the staff is friendly. Since the cafe shares space with The Wishing Chair store, space is quite congested.
Shibin K
A quite place to have a coffee with friends, it is basically a cafe attached to an adorable store, where they sell things that you won't find in a normal cafe, like home decors, it's a good small store and ambience is just calm and elegant. Although I didn't like the waiting time for the food though.
Sourabh Gupta
The mad teapot in Indirangar is more of a store where one of the corners is kept aside and set up as a cafe. It closes really early so by the time I decided on ordering something to eat, they decided on closing it off for the day. The vibe to this place is really magical though, with all the cute things to shop and look around but I won't suggest this place to people who want to hangout with friends or family. You might go there to spend some time alone and enjoy the fairytale ambience.

The Mad Teapot is a store cum cafe, predominantly a charming home decor store. It has a pleasant and soothing ambience. One can admire the beautiful interior while sipping the tea.

If anyone wants to have some alone time to read books or write something, then this is the recommended place.

The staff was courteous and friendly but the service was bit slow.

Coming to the food, they have the range of salads, sandwiches, pastas, desserts and wide variety of beverages. We had pasta (not that toothsome) ,the "rainbow roundabout" which was delectable and the beverages were good.

Overall, it's worth a visit :)
Urmimala Bhattacharjee
Mad Teapot as a place will remind you of Alice and her adventures! The place is predominantly a store, The Wishing Chair, with one area neatly tucked away for some tea and goodies. The service is a bit slow here, but for someone looking for some alone time to read, or just be by themselves, this is a good place. It's got quite a magical vibe to it, with it's display of items. They also serve a range of Tea Trunk teas, so like I said, some good tea, a book and a couch to curl on, this is the place for you!
Anuhya Trushna
The Mad Teapot is predominately a store and bangalore is not unfamiliar with cafes like these. After almost waiting for more than 10 minutes and constantly asking for the menu, I walked up to the counter and grabbed a menu since I couldn’t be bothered to wait anymore.

After a while, the waiter did approach us and we ordered a great heart sandwich and rainbow roundabout and yet again we waited over 20 minutes to be served. The great heart sandwich has so much cheese and the cheese not only tasted bad but also looked unappetising. It was just a big fat thick layer of cheese in the sandwich. The rainbow roundabout was even worse off, it was served after the sandwich and it was cold and downright one of the worst thing I ever tasted in my life and mind you I have been living on British cuisine for the last six months.

I am not sure why the cafe is rated so high. If you come till this cafe, please feel free to go to Glen or Toit which are right next to it for a better food experience.

Yes. The store looks cute but it doesn’t really add any ambiance to the food experience. I do not recommend to visit this place for food. However, the store is worth checking out.
Rebekah
Eye pleasing , refreshing cafe to visit. This is one well decorated place I have ever visited in Bangalore.

Courteous staff and absolutely delightful ambience grabs attention as soon as you enter this place.

Coming to food we could find hardly any options available apart from bakery and snacks on the menu which were definitely on the pricey side.

Request the team to work on their menu and the pricing so that we can visit it over and over.

If you are looking to shop for household items ,gardening plants and if you are willing to spend enough over it this is a place to be.

Ambience 5/5
Service 4/5
Food 3/5
Debalina Sengupta
Sucha pretty place. Loved the decor. Food was good. Food was fresh and crisp. The feel and ambiance is lovely. Quick service with a smile. Affordable and reachable.

Good place to relax with small groups. It’s a shop cum restaurant so u get a chance to move around n see stuff by the time your order is ready. Food we liked are in pics
Jennifer - Jeneatss
A little overrated though.
But the ambience is cute. Ideal for girls and you can also shop while you sip your tea. Limited menu but worth once a visit! Don't expect too much.
Sanjana Karkera
We did not like the pizza and spaghetti noodles taste much ,but the place is oh my god ,total love .it's amazing af, best place to click pictures . Although I recommend only ordering the amazing teas they have.
Ashwati
At first it didn't look like a cafe but a little store selling stuff you would want to decorate your house with. On further enquiry (by that I mean we actually asked them if they served food 🙈) we were taken to that part which had a seating area for about 10 12 people and they have a variety of stuff from flatbreads to beverages which were good. Not ideal for a big group of people though.
Rohith
There was notifications that it was closed today .. try to call dint help ... wasted my time traveling 12 km 😅 pls do notify for any closures
Sandhya Raju
A perfect blend of a home decor place and a cafe. A great hang out spot for decor lovers. Food is slightly over priced when compared to money's worth. The hot chocolate is something I would totally NOT recommend for anyone who doesn't want a sugary drinks with cinnamon, however, some iced coffees are great here

A lil bit of Alice in Wonderland in Indiranagar. That was my first impression as I stepped into The Mad Teapot. Such gorgeously have the interiors been decorated in this boutique cafe. They have a store selling knick-knacks and potpourri right adjacent to the cafe, and The Mad Teapot serves as the exhibition gallery for their ware. Every nook and corner has something to offer for the eyes (and I am quite repentant that I did not bother to take any pictures of the interiors, save the one).

Now, we are hardcore non-veg in diet, but so beautiful was the ambience that the abscence of meat from the menu didn't bother us at all. We had gone there just to have some tea and light snacks. The menu offered a number of tea preparations with fancy names. We ordered one cup each of Saffron Kahwa and Black Tea with 12 Secret Spices Chai Masala, and a veg pizza, which went by the name of Island of Greek Stories. I'm not a fan of experimental tea, and found my tea to be alright. The teapots were lovely though, and might as well have been Tweedledee and Tweedledum. The pizza had plenty of cheese, which made up for the abscence of chicken toppings. Judging by my extremely limited experience in veg eateries, the food seemed quite alright.

If you stay in and around Indiranagar, I would suggest that you drop by The Mad Teapot sometime. The sights would mesmerize you, and the food might actually surprise you.
Deepthi Natarajan Iyer
The ambience was beautiful and the food was quite good. The menu is limited but there was no compromise on taste and quality. The staff were very warm. Despite the closing time being 8 they did not (not even in a polite manner) ask us to leave while we were finishing and wrapping up. Very nice gesture. Certainly a great place to catch up for a girls gang.
Jas
The mad teapot cafe is a part of The Wishing Chair store... One can easily get confused because as soon as you enter you get a vibe of store not cafe... Part of store is converted to cafe with 6-8 sitting tables.
If you are the one who like cute cafes or places then I would say - you should try this place 💕
We tried cappuccino and green tea, and we liked it.
Staff is friendly and quick service delivery
Pavithra Rajagopal
The mad teapot cafe in Indiranagar is one of the cutest cafes I've been to! It's attached to a store that sells the prettiest stationery, decor and other things. The cafe on the side serves some small bites, beverages and desserts for a quick date! Cost for 2 is around Rs. 600/-
Ramya Rao
I booked a table prior via Zomato and luckily although the cafe was full, we were accommodated .

We ordered hot chocolate , the adventures of miss evergreen and first flush with Lavender and Lemongrass.

Overall ratings :
Taste: 4/5
Ambience:4/5
Service :4/5
Staff : 4/5
Bhaavya Vênkåt
Let's begin with the good things
So firstly the ambience is AMAZING ❤️💯 You also get crockery and cutlery
The thing which I disliked was the menu was limited
there are very limited items you can choose from and the price for the food is exorbitant
For that amount of price.. there should be quantity too which was not there
I don't think the food works out here but one can come for their own purchase of house decor stuff (which is also pricey)
Arpita Bose
This was a surprise find for a mid-week date with my girl pal. Looking at the Zomato reviews we decided to give it a try. We were initially apprehensive because of the veg menu (since we r hardcore carnivores). Still we zeroed in on this pretty looking cafe. This place is just beside Glen's Bakehouse in the same line of Toit. But was hard to locate. A pretty white stair takes you to the cafe which is very British in the decor. Muted pastels, white walls & ceiling & packed with quirky & delicate house decor & utilities on sale. The pretty knick knacks are very interesting. The overall look & feel is insta worthy. Hence, no eaters here when we entered @6.30 pm. As soon as we stepped in we were greeted with a piece of info that they close @8 so we need to hurry up. That was weird. Being in the Bengaluru high Street that's an early closing time. During our one & half hours in the cafe only one more pair of eaters came. Some young girls loitered about in the store during the closing time to buy something from the store but the staff ordered the lights to be switched off. That was an improper customer service.
Any how coming to food, the food is pricey & pretty ordinary. We didn't order tea, but cold coffee which was just about fine. We ordered a stuffed potato that was slathered in cream which was too heavy. The other item was topped short breads making them appear like mini pizzas.
My 3*s goes only for the ambience, decor & service by the food server. Otherwise, it's nothing great.
Neelima
Fancy, happy place. Good stuff to buy- though they are a bit expensive.

Good food; limited menu. Please add some more.. like pancakes maybe? :)
Loved the ambience.

Will go back again.
Ipsa Saini
This place is damn pretty and as it is placed in a corner of a very elegant store, you just wanna keep looking at the little items placed all around. It is a neat place to sit and talk and sip a cup of coffee.
I ordered a cafe latte and it was okayish. For the price they're selling it at, it should've been better.
Shiny Deb
It has the best decor
Such a cute little cafe.
The food is really good as well
And is light on the pocket as well.
.
.
Ambience:- 5/5
Food:- 4/5
Service:- 4/5
Value for money:- 5/5

The interior is so beautiful and colourful . It's a happy little cozy cafe . We ordered a hot chocolate and cafe Mocha and both were really good.

5/5 for interior tho!
Poulomi Dasgupta Duttagupta
So visited his place to meet my ex boss over a cup of coffee. Regarding food it is a normal cafe however the speciality is that it is less cafe and more of book and he decor store. The cute staffs that they had was everything and perfect for your Instagram feed. The ambience is really cute and quirky. If you want to have a chai pe charcha or coffee creamer conversation on a lay afternoon, this is the place to choose from.
Shahbaz
The cutest place I've ever been to! Absolutely loved the Ambience. Ordered spaghetti, hot chocolate, tea and red velvet cake. Tasted good. Service is quick. Would love to visit again.
My Food Adventures
I never give bad rating unless I've to. We ordered Orange and Basil punch and it was literally canned orange juice with one Basil leaf on top. Friend ordered hot chocolate and it tasted like bournvita mixed in water. Flat bread was the worst. It was quite hard, chewy and bland. Totally disappointed!
Mahalakshmi Krishnamoorthy
This place looks good only in pictures. Food was ok not many varities to choose from. Did not do justice to all the reviews that made me choose this place.
A little disappointed.
So the Mad Teapot is a vegetarian Café, snuggly fit into The wishing chair Gifting & decor store.
The Ambience is lively and gorgeous!
The menu has quirky names for yummy food !
The drinks could do better in terms of the taste...
Presentation is great 🌟
Overall had a great time with my Buddies 😊
Anusha Kulkarni
The place is full of cute cute small things... fell in love with the bed..canopy.. decorative things ...pillows
Food is good...good service.....best place to hangout with friends
Nischal Gadhavarjula
Loved the tea here. The serving cutlery and the tea quality was absolutely brilliant. The food is a little low on quantity but that’s not a major concern. These guys have quite a good collection of interiors. On and on, I would prefer visiting it again.
Sriparna Saha Susan
Being Vegetarian, their food is really good, but their service is not up to the mark. They seem to have a limit on their tea pots, which in turn results in a wait time in case you're willing to order something from the pot! However, their decorations are very cute and their tea is just fine!
Anima
Glad: Awsome place for people who loves quirky things. Virbrant interior.
Combo of a cafe and shop.
Shop has unique decorative piece, diary, living room essentials etc.
If you loves chumbak shop but want things in a monotone and less colorful then this place fulfills your need.
Tried coffee, sandwich and pasta. Pasta had the authentic flavour. Must try.

Mad: Little overprice for having breakfast. Opens late in morning after 11. Sandwich bread was hard making it difficult to eat but filling was good.

Sad: You will like and will want to buy everything but has to resist. Limited options to eat.
Ava
The cafe-store environment really caught my eye. You can see the lovely decor of the cafe the moment you park your car up front and it's beautiful! I was greeted by a very pleasant environment and the interiors of the cafe are really to be admired. You can indulge in a bit of quality retail therapy and you won't regret it. I ordered a cafe mocha and a chocolate cupcake, both of them were delicious. Would love to visit again and reccomend this place!
Sumit Sancheti
The wooden chairs, hanging lamps, articulated shelves of hand made stuffs enhances the flavour of the tea served steaming in a pot good to sip and relax while conversing amidst this crafted set up. Try the blends of tea with a dessert or a sandwich. The menu doesn't offer much variety , the concept being it's a place to have a Tea sipping experience with a quick bite.
Komal
It has a beautiful ambience and delicious food. It's great for clicking pictures too. Everyone must visit the place once with friends. Staff members are friendly too.
Sonam Mehta
One extremely cute place. And good place to hangout with your friends.

The menu has normal items. And food was average.

I was totally disappointed with their ice tea coz it was full of sugar.

Ambience is extremely good. You can buy stuffs from there if you wish too.

I loved the way they gave kahwa in that pot.

You should try this place once.
Nidhi Anand
Visited the cafe few days back and was delighted by the service offered.
If you like taking your tea in peace with beauty.. then this is a place you should be visiting. A nice cozy interiors as well as home decor item you cannot overlook.
I tried 12 spices masala tea and Lemon iced tea which were Slurpp and helped as a heat buster. The place got all in one quality and is pocket friendly too.

Overall ratings:
Ambience: 5/5
Food & Drink presentation: 4.5/5
Taste: 4.5/5
Value for money: 5/5

Follow #bharatiyeswaadkiyaatra on Instagram and get more details.

Had been there to have some tea! Turns out that its a home decor cum cafe! Menu is small! We ordered Saffron Tea and Hot Chocolate and both were average.

Very beautiful decor and is perfect for Instagramming!
Food is not the USP.

Very nice place...just so warm feeling... the cafe with shop is such a wow place... loved the tea and deserts which are unique just like its shop... place to sit n work or read a book or just relax while you detox with teas..
Ashwati
Definately a treat to the eyes.. just felt like a fairyland altogether.. everything is arranged and placed in such sophistication yet reflects simplicity..loved the design..they have put on efforts to decorate each and every corner of the place..Arjun Prasad and I had an amazing time gazing at the interiors.. coming to food..they have to work on that bit..we ordered Oreo shake and red velvet cake..coffee..the cookies along with the coffee felt a bit stale..rest was ok..

Very sweet Cafe cum lifestyle shop with lovely decoration.4* because the handcrafted products are very pricey. The place is absolutely adorable.

It's very small cafe in with home decor shop. People might overlook this place thinking that it's just shop.they have limited place to seat and limited menu too. We tried one juice and pasta. Pasta was delicious. As it's in home decor shop, it's ambience is colourful and bright. Like to agian. One bad thing it's closing time is too early 8 pm

I completely loved the interiors, gives such an urban yet cosy feel.
The food is on the costlier side though and the taste pretty much average.

A very subtle and welcoming place. The aura and ambience was amazing. I don’t know which air fresher they used it was just great :) . The tea which we ordered lasted throughout the meal for two of us. The food tasted really well and quantity more than enough for two. We ordered
1- Berry Blush Tea- (4/5 Rating)
2- Twisty’s TomTom Spaghetti- (4/5 Rating)
3- The Whatzizname Sandwich -(5/5 Rating)
Would definitely recommend for a quick coffee and munching.

It’s a very cute cafe. This cafe is inside the wishing chair store, so it’s very dreamy and beautiful. You can roam around the store while waiting for your food. It’s a vegetarian cafe and the choices in the menu are very limited. Loved everything about this cafe. I have already visited twice and won’t mind to make several other visits to enjoy some really good time. It’s a must visit.

Bless your eyes with the beautiful colours at this cozy cafe. If you want to revamp your room, this cafe is where you need to go. A store-cum-cafe, this place has the cutest room decor, and other lifestyle items, at very affordable prices. They also have about 2-3 tables, where you can sit and grab a coffee and a few snack. We ordered the Moonface Madness, which has Potato roesti stacked with creamy mushroom sauce, cheese and rocket leaves. Im not a fan of the taste of the food, but it's a very cute place to chill with your friends and take a few pictures.

A beautiful cosy cafe come home decor shop.
The seating area is not very big and most of the time people overlook thinking it's a shop. With their very limited menu we ordered couple of dishes with fresh juice. And surprisingly it was really good in taste.. And also ended up buying some home decor stuff.I simply loved the time spent there.

Beautiful place, beautiful people and peace in the air. Everything seems to be perfect here. Much recommended for a soothing tea. The collection that they have is also quite amazing. Great place.

This place took my heart!!
The ambiance is spectacular and enchanting. They have all cute showpieces and home decor items on sale. It gives you the feel of entering into a different place. It has something for everyone.

The staff is courteous and professional. You get your order on time. We had three flowers flavoured tea and cranberry iced tea. Flavoured tea had great aroma and served in a cute kettle straight from a Korean movie.

Over and all a perfect place to spend time with friends or family.

Loved this place! From the food we had to the courteous staff and the amazing decor - this place is a perfect cosy weekend visit. We had salads, kahwah tea and cold coffee. The cold coffee was not an absolute delight, but everything else was. Overall a place that I would love to revisit.

Beautiful ambiance, especially if you are looking for a peppy, happy hangout with your girlies. The decor is lovely and food is amazing too. Their Cupcakes are YUM! We also ordered a Tater Turnabout, Rainbow Roundabout and a Twisty’s Tom Spaghetti— while the first two were super awesome, the spaghetti wasn’t as good. But overall, lovely experience! :)

There is nothing better than drinking tea on a rainy evening at a pretty little place while Adele plays in the background. It's sinfully beautiful. Located in a corner in The Wishing Chair, a place that I am in love with ever since it opened, The Mad Teapot is a pretty little tea place. Arun and I weren't hungry and only settled for tea, a Rose Oolong Tea and an Autumn Tea. I wouldn't say they are the best teas available around but it sure is good. And the price doesn't burn a hole in your pocket unlike other tea places in Bangalore. If I have to give 3 stars for the food the ambience, the oh so pretty place is a 5 star.

We will surely go there for all the other teas.

Just a sweet little place to catch up with friends, make a few quirky purchases, or simply read. The crew is very friendly, the decor is mesmerizing like one were in Alice's wonderland. Loved it.

This place honestly transports you to a dreamland! Food tastes brilliant and serving size is large. Service is good too . Must visit for it's ambience .Its so beautiful I can't get over it. One of those quaint little cafes which is absolutely picturesque. The lighting inside is so beautiful .Best to visit in tiny groups because it's a small place.

Visited this place with one of my close friends yesterday for tea and snack. But ended up having dinner:D the place is super cute and very very intricately made up. We ordered the magicians salad, long island Greek flatbread, saffron tea and a sandwich. It was wholesome and delicious. The person who served us was really sweet but the ladies at the counter were a bit rude, throwing bad attitude, which should be taken care by the management. Definitely visiting this place again!

Awesome Ambience or Finger Licking Food. If you belong to the former category then Mad Teaport is the place you have to visit. This is a very cute and cozy place with very intricate and fine details of interiors. Why not because it's a store that has a cafe embedded.
The presentation of the food is also very attractive and thoughtful.
When it comes to food there are not many options that you can choose from apart from a wide variety of teas.
I along with my friend ordered the following

Magicians Salad - Very light dressing with herby flavour.Light on dressing and heavy on ur wallet.

Island of Greek stories Flat Bread - This was the standout dish of our entire order, liked it to every bit. It's more like a thin crust pizza.

Whatzizname Sandwich - Biggest disappointment of the evening:( again heavy on your wallet

Saffron Tea - It had a blend of Saffron and Eliachi and the aroma was soothing.. Overall a good drink.

Ambience - 4
Food Quality - 3.5
Taste - 3
Value for Money - 2.5

Mohitha B G
This is a unique cafe I've visited in Bangalore till date. Not only does the food tastes good but the interiors as well are just beautiful. If you are a book or art lover, this place is definitely recommended. The orange and basil blush drink is very refreshing, must try.

Very cute cafe, right out of Pinterest. The entry opens to a store that leads to the cafe. The faraway sandwich is good, however we got lost in their selection of teas - from licorice and mint, to berry blush. Pictures and tea for sure!

Presentation is lovely, but I wish similarly, the food could've been as well. This is a Small cafe located inside the The Wishing Chair store. The staff are courteous and the service is good. The seating is very limited and the ambience is good. The menu has a couple of items in it.
So, we ordered red velvet cheese cake, red velvet cupcake, chocolate cupcakes and cold coffee. The red velvet cake was soft and delightful, I would totally recommend this any day the this store. The cupcake on the other hand was a let down, it was dry and the froasting was very sour. I liked the chocolate cake amonst the two cupcakes, it was very sweet, had the dark chocolate taste, but again, like the previous cupcake, this too was dry. The cold coffee was just average, nothing much to talk about it. I would love to come here to have the red velvet cheese cake again. I would like to give the -
Food - 3/5
Ambience - 3/5
Service - 3/5

The coffee is pretty good, but the reason I'll be back soon for sure is the red velvet cake. It's amazingly soft, and the flavours are spot on. Best red velvet I've had in Bangalore, honestly.
Oh and the place itself is super cute too. Everything from the furniture to the cutlery has soft pastel tones.
Avantika Sardana
It's a cosy place located just next to Glen s bakehouse cafe. It looks like a small fancy shop from outside but it's actually a cafe. If you want you can make purchases here. This is a vegetarian cafe. I was disappointed with the menu here as there were very less choices. There are salads, flat bread, pastas etc. Here I ordered a vegetarian white sauce pasta. The pasta was uncooked, so I had to return it back and I ordered an orange and basil drink. I feel this place has alot of potential to grow If they make their menu a little better. The ambience is extremely great. So if you want to have a snack at cute cafe, this place is the one to be at.
Food -3/5
Ambience-4/5
Service-4/5
This place has the cutest theme and you can just relive your childhood magical story book days here!! Peaceful and friendly. I wish there was non-veg food too.
