Review Bella Mangalorean Cuisine - Bengaluru

Chandrasekhar Nair
I understand this plane is only a couple of days old. The draft geist beer (both uncle duncle and witty witty were refreshing. The food is fantastic. Ghee roast is a little different from what we have had earlier. Pudina ghee roast is also worth a try. The coconut rice is a must have.

One of the more less known places in Jayanagar. I ordered the Fish Combo, it was worth the price. The meal was really good with ample amount of fish curry and rice accompanied by neer dosa and fish fry. Really liked the ambience of the place and the fast service; we didn't have to wait for the food for long. The food prices are good and worth the money. The combo is the most value for money as it covers almost all parts of a good meal.

Nice ambience.. limited option on the menu.. food was good, price on higher side..overall good place to experience mlore cuisine..

Srajit Saran
Calm place, less crowded. Good proportions, preparation and taste. Known for its Sea food it live to its expectations.
Souvik Banerjee
Good place to explore Mangalorean food. They serve wide range of fishes and their mutton preparations are very good.
Shounak Chakraborty
Nice authentic Mangalorean food. We tried a few Malabar dishes too
Manish Sharma
Good Mangalorean food. Good choice of beers too, thanks to the pub they run on the floor above. What really sucks though is their service speed. Be prepared for a long wait between ordering and eating. Beer comes great enough, though. :-)

Best place for dinner. They have good varieties of starters. They serve authentic mangalore cuisine dishes. Fish dishes are must try. Neer dosa and chicken ghee roast are not to be missed. Price is slightly higher for the quantity they serve. Ambiance and service is good. Over all a good place for dinner.

It is one of the best places in Jaynagar I have been so far with my family. The food was great, the service was amazing. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The ambience is really nice and what more can I say, I'll definitely visit again :)

Food- not bad Ambience - good Service- good Overall experience - Good Pudina Ghee Roast Chicken- Good Chilly Prawn- it said Mangaluru style but it was Chinese n Mangaluru fusion I guess. Wouldn’t recommend Belle special Chicken curry- Green gravy. Good with dosa Neer Dosa/Egg Appam- tastes good but they were dry Would go back again I guess as it seems a decent sea food restaurant in Jaya Nagar as it’s rare to find non-veg restaurants in Jaya Nagar

They opened recently. Great Mangalorean cuisine, couldn’t fault the dish, my favs: 1.) Prawn Ghee roast 2.) Appam and chicken stew Hope they keep up the consistency cause Jayanagar needs some good restaurants😎 Oh!! And they have a pub, Salut, serving continental.
Vipul Chaturvedi
If you love spicy foods, this place serves Manglorean delicacies. We tried curry with Appam, rice, daal etc. Food was fresh and delicious. They take bit of time to serve Appam. Otherwise, it is a good place for foodies.
Vidya Sharma
Awesome place n good drinks. Food quality can improve.

The food is delicious and amazing choices of see food . Budget friendly too<br/>

Zomato gold shows that the restaurant offers 1+1 on food ...But the restaurant denied to accept it saying that they would come up with new offers in a couple of days

Refused to take my zomato gold

The Bella is the most beautiful place for lunch. Amazing Mangalore style food spread and quality in taste with good ambiance restaurant and customer service.<br/>We had tried Clams, It was amazing.<br/>This is one of the best sukka recipe of Clams which are cooked in its shell in a spicy ingredients at its best.<br/><br/>The spicy crab soup seasoned is impressive and loved it. 100%<br/><br/>Pomfret Tawa Fry was good but little expensive.<br/><br/>Taste : 4.3/5<br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Value for Money :3/5<br/><br/>Looking forward to visiting again.<br/><br/>I would recommend you to try CLAMS SUKKA and CRAB SOUP.

If anyone wants to try Mangalorean cuisine then one should visit this amazing place which has very nice ambience which will attract you to quickly have a seat and order food from the menu. I really liked the chicken ghee roast as the good thing about the dish was the ghee was not dropping off from the chicken, the chicken was properly cooked also one should try there chicken curry these are the few things which you can try. But they really need to work on there service which should be improved.

Want a taste of good Mangalorean cuisine? Go here.<br/>Look no further.<br/>The food is good and tasty. Try the pulimunchi and the ghee roast.<br/>We had ordered eggs, Kalamari, chicken, Kori roti & neer dosa.<br/>Had a good experience.<br/>Thanks guys.<br/>

The food was good. But the service was mismanaged. I think that the servers in the hotel need a little bit of training , they were confused most of the time at which table to serve. Also the drinks were made in the top floor and served downstairs , there were two people who took the orders , both of them used to go get the drinks and leave the floor empty with no one to cater. I believe a little bit if coordination and training would makes the place much better. Also the ambience can be made a little brighter. I would recommend the owner to get some training to it's staff on serving the customers.
Ajisha Vadakkepattu
Food was good , good authentic mangalorian recipes, but more than that we expect minimum service quality which is clearly lacking .Waiters were in hurry to serve starters and main course together as the title “waiter” implies , even though whole restaurant had just 2 of us. Cook denied to prepare the appam instead they were asking us to take paratha . I don’t know how can you replace south authentic bread with north. Please have basic courtesy in your staffs
Sudha Ram
Good food.. The chicken ghee roast and neer dosa are a hit..But the wait for the food would make anybody hangry! Very slow service! Can give it a try!
Manjula
Had heard good reviews about this restaurant. Was greatly disappointed with the service. They don't serve what's on the menu and the service is pathetic. You have to wait for a long time before the ordered food is served . No other restaurant in Jayanagar is as disappointing as this one.<br/><br/>

Went there with a few of my friends for lunch. We ordered 6 dishes in total and some Indian breads to go with it.<br/>The hotel was understaffed(just one person to take order, fill water and serve food).<br/>This is a Mangalore style hotel but not fish was available, all dishes with the tag "Bella Special" were not available.<br/>We ordered a mutton kundapuri in the beginning which tasted good, so we ordered a chicken kundapuri which was a watered down version of the latter.<br/>The service was in random order we were served a curry then after 15 mins we are served neer dosas.<br/>The whole meal was us waiting for something on our table so that we could eat.<br/><br/>We were served only 5 dishes, when we asked the guy who took the order he said that all orders had come. The bill comes and we see that there are six dishes in there. When we asked him to remove the item from bill, he said that since the bill is generated there is nothing that he could do other than parcel that dish for us.<br/><br/>The food was not terrible and the guy who served us food was very pleasant.<br/>They were just not prepared to run a restaurant and serve guests.

This is shocking, but I didn’t take any pictures of the food because I was starving. But no complaints because I loved the food! <br/><br/>I get bored of the usual cuisines and wanted to eat something different. Thus, we ended up at Bella to sample some mangalorean fare. <br/><br/>This is what we ordered: <br/>Chicken Ghee Roast- OMG. It was love at first bite. The spice of the chicken with the smooth, rich taste of ghee was an absolute delight. Highly recommended. Paneer Ghee Roast was good as well. <br/>Appam/Egg Appam with Stew: Soft, fluffy appams that literally melt-in-the-mouth. Served with mild, flavour stew. A match made in heaven! <br/>Elaneer Payasam: One of the best I’ve ever had in my life. I ate almost 2 of these. It’s not too sweet, very fresh and tastes great. Must try. <br/>Ragi Mani: This tasted good too but could have been better. It was a little hard and tad too sweet. <br/><br/>The ambiance is very earthy and soothing. And the staff are very attentive. <br/><br/>I would definitely recommend this place for delightful food. Apparently their fish is brilliant too. If you’re in Jayanagar and looking for something new to eat, go visit. <br/><br/>I’m definitely going back 😍
Sunil Chandran
Great place with awesome food. Each dish was distenctly different. Try out their ghee roast with beer dosa, mutton shorba, Would certainly come back.
Suvidha Bolar
Simple and elegant interior. Good customer service. We ordered clam sukkha, calamari rawa fry, boiled rice and veg stew. Food was really tasty. We had tender coconut payasam for dessert.. Simply 😋 yum.<br/>Value for money.. We are going to visit again soon.
Saritha Pakkala
Ambience is good. Food quality is not good. Not a place for the secound visit ..taste is really bad. I will not visit this place again..service also not good.<br/><br/>
Samarth
Very good ambiance. But an overpriced place. Very little quantity for the price.<br/>And the food is not authentic Mangalorean. We ordered chicken sukka which hardly had any coconut.<br/>Very disappointed with the food.
Sahana Jain
cozy environment. Definitely a Mangalorean would love the food here. Tried the panner Ghee roast, the most spicy i ever had. Appam and the veg stew is a must try here. Very less options for the vegetarians. Too Pricey.

This is a not much known place in jayanagar. This has a good coastal menu in it. I would say a good peaceful place with simple n cute ambience. Looking at the seafood special menu I tried prawn sukks, appam, chicken pulimunchi, need dosa and sannas which is nothing but the normal idli. All tasted good and so was the service. A family type restaurant and would like to visit again.
Manoj Huccha
Food was good .But over priced 😏😏😏.N ghee prawn roast was not tasty at all.coconut rice ,boiled rice n fish curry as good.then another one fish fry was good..
Pavithra S
Most amazing place I have ever seen in Bangalore with delicious food and homely environment.i Ordered chicken ghee roast, raw banana rawa fry chicken mangalorean curry with neer dosa which was really taste food I have ever had in mangalorean Restaurant in Bangalore.i really recommend this family restaurant to all.
Saharul
Liked and recommended by many of my friends from the coastal region. We tried lot dishes during our visit including the Chicken Ghee roast , rawa fry silver fish , masala squids and sea clams sukka. with pundi and neer dosa. We liked most of the dishes but unfortunately that day.And we also promised him that we will return back again. They also have thalis like the fish thali , chicken thali , bangude and veg thali. The service is decently good.

Now Mangalorean cuisine at Jayanagar I have been there with my family it was cool place with grate food.we had ordered chicken ghee rost, seer fish tawa fry, chicken mangalorean curry with near dosa and raw banana rawa fry it was really awesome.even the staff are friendly and excellent service.i recommend this family restaurant to all..must visit this place.

Horrible is not the word for service and food at this place. This place isnt sweet as Bella, but bitter like bevu. They messed up the order food was tasteless, we had to wait for over an hour just to get our food and drinks. Lime juice tasted like plain water, chicken ghee roast was pathetic and mutton biryani was uncooked and tasted horrible. I can't understand how a restaurant can run with such bad food and service. To top it all the food was highly priced and all we got was arrogant service. Best is to avoid such a place.
Shipali Poojari
This is the worst restaurant I have ever been. Their service is pathetic and we had to wait for our food inspite of repeated reminders. We ordered lime juice which had no sugar , the chicken ghee roast we ordered did not taste like a ghee roast. For our main course we had to wait for very long. would never recommend this place. Please don't go with the name Bella which was BITTER rather being SWEET. They had only 2 staff who were running around and getting wrong orders...Would not give them single Star but there is no option here.
Atul Mavinkurve
Went on Vijayadashami afternoon for lunch, nice outdoor tables with good Mangalori cuisine. Ordered prawns Pulimunchi - very authentic and spicy. Pudina Ghee roast chicken - was average can better flavored. Must try - Raw Banana fry Bhajji (both Rava and Normal)
Vikas Rao
After seeing so much reviews on Zomato, finally tried this hotel.. it's not worth the hype,<br/>Ordered<br/>prawns masala fry was good..<br/>Seer tawa fry & Chicken biryani was worst,<br/>Ragi Manni dessert was also very bad<br/>
Likitha KS
Bella is an honest celebration of Manglorean cuisine at its core. <br/> The decor and ambience is very inviting and homely. The outdoor seating is beautiful! <br/>Coming to the food, my favourites are neer dosa/appam, paneer/chicken/prawn/crab ghee roast, the pulimunchi, the vegetable stew, the mutton shorba, ragi manni and the coconut payasam! <br/>And of course, the seafood is mind blowing! <br/><br/>The food is delicious and very well prepared!<br/>So happy that there is another amazing place in jayanagar to have a great lunch/dinner,with family especially.
Archana Prakash
Today we decided to order lunch from Bella, we asked for Ghee rice, Neer Dosa, Sana’s, prawn pulimunchi and chicken. My husband was looking forward to Mangalorean food but was extremely disappointed because ; <br/>The prawn in the curry was not cooked at all. It was probably 30% cooked. Felt strange to bite into it at first. The gravy (both chicken and prawn) has so much colour in it that we didn’t feel like eating more than a few spoons. The ghee rice was terrible, it was dipped in ghee and the ghee has settled at the bottom of the packaged box. The Sana’s and Neer dosa was not bad. We also ordered mutton soup which was not like other coastal restaurants we have tried before. So all in all my Sunday lunch was very disappointing and hence I decided to write this review.

Bored up with usual pasta pizza and chicken wings? Place here to let ya tongue taste new. A family restaurant located in the prime area of Jayanagar, with a feel of being home. An authentic Mangalore styled food blended with Kerala touch is the major attraction.Chicken ghee roast, pepper chicken, egg pakoda and appam are the must haves, fish fry is equally good.Little pricy when compared to other restaurants round, but isn't a authentic food always comes with a price tag?? :)
Vivek
Went there on a Saturday night, parking was tough to find since its located right in the middle of jayanagar shopping area.. limited menu, but the food was good, would recommend the place if you are in Jayanagar and are in the mood for mangalorean/coastal cuisine..

Wanted to give 4.5<br/><br/>A deliteful ಮಂಗಳೂರು cuisine place right @ the heart of 11main jayanagar<br/>Tried egg and chicken ghee roast, anjal masala fry, chicken sukka, egg appam, appam & neer dosa.<br/><br/>Ghee roast masala was excellent with the right hints of sweetness and sourness, anjal masala fry could be a lil. More better as masala tasted a little bland, sukka was excellent and the spices really stood out.<br/><br/>Loved the egg appam its was damn filling and tasted brilliant with sukka.<br/><br/>Would love to come here soon and have more mangalore style dishes.
Shivani Joshi
Despite popular belief, vegetarian food was just brilliant. Paneer ghee roast, babycorn chilli and the best of all the neer dosa! A must visit :)<br/>
Majeem Mohammed
Deducting one more star as the restaurant still doesn’t accept all payment options. <br/><br/>One of few places we visit frequently for the seafood and Geist beer. Starter fish preparations are unique in flavor. <br/><br/>It’s a real shame this restaurant at the center of one of the most happening places in Bangalore is not accepting American Express cards. Tried telling this to staff quite a few times in vain. They just doesn’t seem to care.
Nishant Kumar
ordered mushroom chilly..taste not good, does not look fresh, disappointing
Ramalingam G
Sear fish pulimamchi was very bad , don’t think it was sear fish
Anisha Sumukha
This is a nice place to try some coastal cuisine. We ordered ghee roast & it was good. But I’ve eaten tastier ghee roast at other restaurants in JP nagar. Their Bella special chicken was spicy and delicious though. <br/>We ordered pulimunchi and green peas malabari curry for main course. The pulimunchi is meant to be eaten with rice and doesn’t go well with chapathi. The green peas malabari Curry was good but the regular green peas masala. Nothing malabari or coastal about it but decently tasty. <br/>Food is basically good here but nothing exceptionally coastal like other coastal cuisine restaurants.

I happened to just walk-in to Bella to try out a new restaurant in Jayanagar and found out they serve Mangalorian cusine. As we entered, we loved the ambience for both Bella & Salut( serving continental) & chose to dine in Bella. With welcoming staff & having a mix of Mangalorian food & continental made elders & kids happy at one stop.<br/>The main chef walked out and explained us the make of few dishes in continental & made as per our requirements. Loved the food, quantity & service with live semi-final football match.<br/>Looking forward to visit again.
Shankarguru
One good place for Mangalore cuisine in Jayanagar. Pudhina paneer ghee roast, chicken ghee roast is a must try dish. Neer dosa with Bella spl chicken curry tasted good. Ambiance and service was good. Overall a good place for dinner.
Krupa Desai
A good place for Mangalore style sea food and curries. Being from coastal maharashtra myself, was delighted to see Sol kadi/kokum kadi on the menu. Liked everything we ordered from the soup to dessert.
Safaa
I don't have words to describe this place. The food is on another level. The ghee roast paneer was the best paneer I have eaten. And the masala fish was amazing too. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.
Shweta
Good ambience ...yummy food...must try prawn ghee roast and neer dosa..found it slightly costly in terms of quantity they served. If you love mangalorean food ..you must visit this place<br/>
Athruptha_Athma 🤤
If someone is looking for authentic manglorean cuisine then this should be your stop. Loved the ambience of this restaurant and you know what, this restaurant is located at the heart of jaynagar.

A new seafood place located in Jayanagar 4th block beside Manyavaar. A Sunday afternoon led us to try this new place with a promising menu.<br/>Ambience: As you climb up, you find a Buddha statue that gives you a sense and comfort. The building also houses the pub Salut for the ones who wants a drink and not just the family ambience of Bella. Quiet and calm seating with an open balcony with lots of green plants which is a thing now in lot of restos and pubs.<br/>Food: Thalis were not available since it was a weekend. We ordered Prawn Tawa fry, chilli baby corn and masala fry pomfret. All the dishes were well done and mouth watering. To cool off we took butter milk and kokum kadi, both refreshingly good where we even went for seconds. Mains consisted of Bella special mixed veggies, neer dosa, appam, egg appam, parota and lady fish curry. The egg appam was a disappointment other than which the rest of the food was delish.<br/>Service: The servers were a little confused with the orders and had to repeat the order again after 10 mins..<br/>Overall I would go here to try out their thalis during a weekday lunch.

good food.

It was a Friday afternoon and I was getting back from some work and I saw this place that had come up in Jaynagar main road...<br/><br/>I was surprised to see this place and parked my vehicle and went in..<br/><br/>Very interestingly done and loved the outdoor sitting area, I had prawns thali and silver fish masala fry!!<br/><br/>Silverfish masala get was out of the world and the prawns thali was good!!!<br/><br/>But was surprised to see that it was empty..So big shout out for the Bangalore south people... Bella serves some good coastal cuisine food...<br/><br/>Time to explore the same ☺️☺️

Good food, polite staff and nice, calm ambience. Great family restaurant. - an oasis in the middle of the chaos of the BDA area. Would definitely recommend !

Good ambience very authentic, very clean. Service was good very polite staff. We asked for fish thali and it was not available. Chicken curry was ok. Neer dosa was good. Angel fish fry could be much better. Taste should be improved.

A must visit palce!<br/>With a warm welcome.Entered the place just loved the ambience n the food was great, service is quick, courteous and friendly staff. We started with pepper rasam which was Yummy!!! a good start up and comeing to starter we ordered raw banana naked fry and bella special veg curry with appam for main course which had good amount of spices and tastes delicious. Looking forward to visit again soon... Overall had a homely experience.
Parsi
we group of four visited this place a couple of days back , it was very impressive the ambience the service and most importantly the food. Great coastal cuisine. We had veg thali n prawn thali it was tasty and fulfilling. Along with that had ordered few starters like paneer ghee roast and silver fish rava fry which was mouth watering. On whole it was a perfect mangalore cuisine.
Yashas_wini
This place is located in Jayanagar 3rd block , easily accessible place! Bella located in 2nd floor, lunch time they offer thali ; we ordered , fish tawa fry, fish thali and Chicke thali , honestly food wasn't upto the mark.. service and ambience is really impressed me! Coming to food : starter - only one starter was in thali , no spices , dosa was tasty , curry was okish and very disappointed with dessert , I should mention-dessert tasted like road side darshini sweet.. they can give more variety for the price they charge..
Thannmay M
The food is awesome and they serve it fast the best manglorean style food and it is spacious the best food in Bangalore really it's awesome you also try it out you feel tempt
Disha Premkumar
Recently visited this place , food was good we ordered veg thali and Prawn thali it was tasty and fulfilling with South Indian dessert payasa and buttermilk . Bella offers outdoor and indoor , seating it’s a great place to visit with family and friends, I really liked the outdoor view with melodies music playing background, it’s has perfect mangalore cuisine and staff were friendly.
Archana Dinesh
The place has a nice feel to it with its traditional pillars and printed tiles. The copper ware also adds to the dining experience. I had gone there for lunch with a friend and was a little sceptical as the place was empty on a Monday afternoon. They offer an a-la- carte menu and set thalis. We preferred to order from the menu and weren't disappointed. The ghee roast here is definitely worth it and so are the appams. The service was good too and the waiter was polite. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a quick lunch in jayanagar or a relaxed place to chat over lunch or dinner.

Mangloreian food over here really awesome i had prawn ghee roast, chicken tawafry, kundhapuri chicken curry and some neer dosa, chapathi all were good..<br/>Food : 4*<br/>Ambience : 4*<br/>Service : 3.5<br/>I think they need increase quantity aswell. Rest all good<br/>

We were in Jayanagar doing a bit of Sunday shopping and were looking for a good place to have lunch, and sighted Bella. What caught our eyes was the ad. about their Mangalorean thali meals. The 3.5 rating on Zomato did make us hesitate a bit, but we decided to give it a shot.<br/><br/>Although the thali meals that we went in here for wasn't available being a weekend, everything else was impressive about the place - the ambience, the service and most importantly the food. Great coastal cuisine. We had chicken ghee roast, mutton sukka, neer dosa, appam, veg stew, etc. They were all extremely well cooked and served. Absolutely delightful experience. They also took time to take feedback, which was nice.
Neha Rao
Amazing appams and mangalorean cuisine!! 😋😋 Happy to find a good mangalorean restaurant in Jayanagar!! Coastal taste in Bangalore!! 😋😋👌
Rohit Jha
Nice ambience but very average food.<br/>We ordered mutton shorba, which was a little above average. Then a chicken ghee pudina-not at all worth it. And then coconut rice and sheer fish in mangalorian curry style, which was OK.
Dansh Raj
Awesome food... Good service, In love with this place... Would never mind visiting it again... And personally recommend to visit this place.
Richa
Very cool place to go out for dinner with Indore and outdoor seating arrangements.<br/>Serves delicious food and drinks and caters good customer service..
Satvik
Biggest positive: taste <br/>Negative: no lift <br/>Recommended dish: prawn <br/><br/>Located in Jayanagar 4th block, about 200m away from cool joint. Valet parking is available. Located on the first floor, no loft available. There is indoor air conditioned and balcony seating. There is a large screen for viewing of matches. The staff are friendly, service was ok. <br/><br/>The food is Manglorean cuisine. The pudhina chicken ghee roast is a modification of the usual chicken ghee roast, tasted decent, but did not get the flavour of a ghee roast from the masala. The prawn Chili was really good. The squid rava fry was decent, but could be served along with something. The pomfret fish fry was good. The appam and Kerala paratha are standard, the chicken Kundapuri goes very well with it. The quantity is standard, pricing is a little high. <br/><br/>On the whole, it's a place for some tasty manglorean cuisine food.
Vaishnavi Gowda
Bella - Mutton Shorba, Coconut Payasa and Appam with stew is just mouth watering.<br/><br/>Overall its a very good place for families as well as just to hang out with friends. The open place is one of my FAV!!! <br/>I wish all the best to the team!!
Nibbles Diary [https://www.nibblesdiary.wordpress.com]
Seasoned!!<br/><br/>Pure Mangalorean cuisine. We had been here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Pretty good ambiance. We started with chicken ghee roast and seer tawa fry for starters. Everyone loved the chicken ghee roast. I loved the tawa fry as well. Both the starters had good amount spices and tasted delicious. For the main course, we ordered chicken thali, ghee rice and chicken kundapuri. This was all right. <br/><br/>Overall a good dining experience. Good service. However, I feel the prices are a bit expensive.

Hi I.. this is nice place i really enjoyed yesterday night with my friends .Mr.jitendra and his team very cautious and friendly..thanks to all ..
Ankita Deokar
One would not find much of restaurants serving sea food in jaynagar area with the amazing ambience. <br/>This place has a very traditional vibe in terms of the ambience. The servers are very generous and would take the efforts of explaining the entire menu to you. <br/>We had ordered for the prawns rava fry, prawns chilly, fish curry and rice. <br/>The prawns rava fry and the prawns was so fresh and tasted amazing, the curry on the other hand had tomatoes in it, which probably made it moderate. But one really needs to visit this place to enjoy the amazing sea food and yes they even serve alcohol. <br/>
Pinku Kumar
Hii.. its a good place for nonveg food..specialy seer fish curry..and chicken ghee rost..i loved it..there was so many crowed..specialy thanks Mr.Jitendra who take care very nicely my family..his nature very friendly..Thanks a lot keep it up..

Heard good reviews of the place before we went and in and certainly stood for that!! <br/><br/>Rating to 3 only for the mixed quality of food. <br/><br/>Highly recommend the ‘Palak ghee roast chicken’. Veg options were a put off!!<br/><br/>The staff are certainly friendly but does not compliment the service standard. Needs a huge jump.

We had initially booked Salut, but decided to go with Bella, that boasted of Manglorean cuisine. Our experience started with us being royally ignored by the waiters (inspite of just serving on 4-5 tables of which only a couple were live). Thankfully, the starters of fish & prawns was decent. But their gravies were quite disappointing the worst being the Green Pea Curry, which was half cooked thawed frozen peas in lukewarm thin gravy.<br/>When I complained, the floor manager/waiter just laughed it off, saying this is how they make it in Mangalore! Not a great answer to get when you are spending 3.5K...<br/>Overall, an OK place if you want only for starters/appetizers...
Santosh
I had been to this Restaurant with my friends for lunch the mangalorean food was so tasty we had ordered the thalis vegetarian, chicken and fish so many items butter milk, fish rava fry, fish curry 4 nos neer dosa, boiled rice, poriyal, sambar, rasam, kosambari, chutney, pickle, pappad and payasam value for money ambience and the service also good i recommend this place to all

wanted to visit this place due to its catchy name and logo...visited with my wife and niece...on 14th March... ended very disappointed... had very high hopes... to start off...it's new place...<br/>we ordered for prawn ghee roast, it was perfect... but way to pricey- 375/-+ tax for 6-7 small prawns...<br/>Anjal fry was again very well done... but not worth 425/- + tax... for Jayanagar the prices are extremely high...either give more qty or.reduce the prices...<br/>service was okok...<br/>a lot of catching up to do...will probably visit after few months once the team is settled down...all the best!!<br/>order was for<br/>prawn ghee roast<br/>baby corn ghee roast<br/>anjal naked fry<br/>ghee rice<br/>neer dosa<br/>veg curry Mangalore style<br/>2 large drinks<br/>total bill amount including tax<br/>2370/-
