A satvic hotel situated within ISKCON premises. Located behind the temple and difficult to find parking on holidays due to temple crowd. Buffet is good with a wide spread and priced Rs 825/-. Starters, Vegetable curries and dessert is good. Only tandoori and makki rotti were served. Broccoli biriyani was average. Roti and rice items can be improved. Located in a central place near Mahalakshmi metro station. Good for family outings.

Satwik food aplenty, buffet style. Located inside the ISCON temple complex, a great place to have a relaxed sit-down lunch after darshan. Priced above what's typical, the place is not too crowded, and all food items are fresh and tasty. Food trays are frequently replenished, and wait staff is polite and attentive.

A buffet style restaurant serving delicious satvic food. Lots of variety, ranging from Indian (south and north) to continental. The desserts are to die for. However, the place is usually crowded and there's a 15-30 min waiting time. But the food is worth the wait!

The atmosphere of this place is just so right with a pleasant music. The starters genuinely kick starts your appetite. The buffet has a wide range: continental, street touch serving paani puri, pav bhaji, North Indian, South Indian and lots more. Although We travelled almost 15 kms to relish this place but you can beat the traffic by commuting in metro which is easily accessible from almost every part of the city. The best part is you anyway get to see Krishna☺️🙏🏼

So Good food, it's very rare to see so many good vegetarian options in a buffet. Enjoyed a lot. A few items were just average but some are so good. Overall COSTLY though, ₹725 weekdays dinner. 4.5 stars out of 5. This restaurant is located inside the temple premises, so one may find difficulty in navigation for the first time.

This is one of the unique restaurant I have found in Bangalore. It's pure veg as well as NO GARLIC AND ONION food which is really good for the pure satvik people. The food was really good. The ambience was also great there. Service was quite decent but staff is busy with larger people tables and ignores the less number of people tables. Basically it's not a Jain restaurant because they have potatoes in curry but it's a best place for no onion and garlic people. We had an amazing buffet here. Every single one of the dishes were tasty except a rare few that did not do well for me; the fried chillies and boondi raita. The drink was excellent and Pudina paneer malai was mind blowing. The desserts were way too many. If Lauki halwa is on the menu, don't forget to give it a try; the warm halwa melts right in the mouth. We tried to eat all of the dishes, but it was a little difficult. Excellent experience, highly recommended if you like this kind of food or if you like to experiment.

Recently, my team and I dined at the Higher Taste Restaurant at ISKCON. The satvik buffet was not only healthy but also delicious, offering a fantastic international dining experience. Special thanks to Naveen, the manager, and the other staff members for their amazing service, making us feel like we were in a top-class restaurant. The whole atmosphere, along with the fine dining setup, was impressive. The Higher Taste Restaurant certainly went above and beyond our expectations. A good place for lunch and dinner . Price is a bit more. Really enjoyed dinner here. Food quality is Excellent , but some food is not upto that much. Pure vegetarian and sattvic food. Atmosphere is very good. Place is very peaceful. It is situated inside the ISKCON TEMPLE premises, i.e. Hare Krishna Hill.

The Higher Taste restaurant is located in the premises of Iskon temple and it's a pure vegetarian restaurant.....It is a Prime restaurant with exclusive ambience and is also very expensive.... But felt buffet cost was moderate.... Since it's a prime hotel the level of food taste and presentation is very impressive..... Wait time for food to be served is almost 20mins.... Didn't find huge crowd and was very peaceful....

The food is great without onion and garlic as the restaurant located inside the temple premises. The ambience is okay and you can also hear hari naam and krishna music during your visit.

An amazing Saattvic restaurant by ISKCON, Bangalore. High end fine dine restaurant. Their buffet is super awesome. Completely vegetarian and Saattvic food - no onion, no garlic. Amazing desserts - excellent pastries and cakes that are eggless along with several Indian sweets and Ice cream. Great place to have lunch with family before or after visiting ISKCON for Darshan. Sufficient car parking & bike parking space is there. Very well maintained restaurant with amazing prompt service. Good seating place for varied size families (nuclear or joint). Buffet price slightly on the higher end but worth it.

When visiting iskon never ever miss out on dining at high taste restaurant. Excellent veg food. Very tasty. Large spread . Go very hungry to taste the spread of soups, starters, main course & desserts. Mouth watering. Vouch to go more often. 👍👌👏

I first noticed the listing for this restaurant on Zomato 50% offers and decided on this place to order from next. But the day we needed to order, it was not available for delivery on zomato, only on swiggy. Though I could not use any offers, I ordered from here basis the high rating. Also on Zomato they had listed the indian chilli chicken and Chinese chilli chicken separately so there was no confusion. I felt that was smart as these two taste quite different and we prefer the Indian Chilli chicken (not to be confused with Andhra Chilli Chicken) as this is more red chilli powder based. Felt the restaurant understands food😀.<br/><br/>We ordered Hong Kong Fried Rice (under bestsellers), chilli chicken and kolhapuri chicken. The Hong Kong Fried rice seemed to have been made lot earlier, it was dry, with pieces of earlier made chicken kabab, the vegetables were fresh though. The chilli chicken was Chinese chilli chicken though I ordered the other one, taste was average. The Kolhapuri also felt like it was made a while ago, gravy was bit thin and not rich, strangely it had mustard tadka, chicken also average. The restaurant opens at 12 pm and we ordered at 1.35pm, got the food at 2pm. So for the time elapsed, the food felt dead too soon.<br/><br/>Average price, average food.

Chicken fried rice was really delicious. Not oily and good amount of chicken pieces. Totally worth the price. Can improve the packing though.

Packing is not good. If they pack food in boxes it will be easy to have in office also. Make proper packing. Taste is Okay. I have given instructions but they didn’t follow. Instructions has to be followed by the restaurant.

Food zone is one of the places where you can chill out with a few friends and pocket friendly. The food is pretty good, the service is good too. Even though the restaurant is quiet small it is decent. I highly recommend you guys to check this place out

The prawn chilli which I had ordered was spoilt. They have preserved prawns from months and given it. Even the egg masala was below average. Please do not consider this hotel at all!

Veg Biryani was average, Good amount of vegetables but found need of little spices. Raitha was too watery and On the whole can be better and cook needs to work on it to save his job. In food industry quality is the only thing that matters.

I frequently visit this place as it serves really tasty egg curry masala which i rarely get at any other place. It's a small with an occupancy of around 30 person but their foods are too good

I ordered their chicken 65, chicken tikka masala and butter kulcha.<br/>The delivery is super quick.<br/>I found the food a little greasy and the chicken 65 quantity was too little and it had more bones than the meat. Extremely disappointed with their chicken 65. <br/>Chicken tikka masala was good. Not too spicy. Not too sweet. Perfect to my liking except for the extra grease.<br/>This place is definitely pocket friendly and cost me just 352 rupees

One of the best pocket-friendly eateries in Basaveshwaranagar. Best for a take-away order. My favourites are the different types of fried rice and the biriyani. The side dishes are a little spicy for my palate (PS: I'm a spice eater).. Have eaten in this place for 4+ years and haven't been disappointed till now.. :)

We never knew about this place until recently and it is located behind Pavithra Paradise. We decided to check this place out for evening snacks to see what they've to offer. We ordered Masala Papad, Chicken Roll, Veg Noodles, Fresh Lime Soda and Masala Soda. We were astonished to see that this place has no cooking area, and all the food once ordered comes from outside.<br/><br/>Downsides - They take a lot of time to serve even the basic drinks. I'm certainly not happy about the ambience, to start off with the place isn't kept tidy. Lightings are bad. There's dirt all around and the music is loud. The staff and management are not co-ordinated. Precautions aren't taken while moving the food from kitchen to the service place. <br/><br/>This visit wasn't the pleasant at all. We loved Chicken Roll and Noodles, Soda's were normal, but the Masala Papad spoilt the entire meal. It was topped with sour tomato instead of the normal ones. The sauces served with the noodles had little insects, upon showing they replaced it. I would suggest you to avoid this place. This place needs a lot of improvement. This is our experience, did anyone else who has been here had a better experience here?

As every one has reviewed, its a budget hotel. Whenever you feel lazy to cook at home and doesn't want to spend much, you should definitely try here. The taste may not be extraordinary, but good homely taste. I ordered around 3 chicken items, veg starter, main course for 3 people.. And the bill was 640rs, which I have to say very reasonable. Its good to get it parceled, since the place is very small. Overall good experience.

A good place to have food if you don't care about whether the restaurant ambiance is chick or not. This is a small place which is easy to miss if you don't look closely. There is a home appliances showroom near Pavitra paradise. This hotel is right next to that inside a pocket road. So far I have just ordered take away ( never eaten in the restaurant). So I am not going to comment on the service. Food they prepare is much better than some of the high end restaurants around Basaveshwara Nagar. All the items I had so far has been great. I especially liked the Chicken Biriyani and Tandoori Chicken.The prices are also low. Great value for money. I have no idea about their vegetarian foods.<br/><br/>A must try for all the foodies in and around Basaveshwara Nagar who likes non-veg.

If you want to have best biriyani near Rajajinagar/Basaveshwara nagar you can blindly choose this place. They make the fresh chicken biryani here. the cost is just 82/- and taste is awesome while comparing with the other champions such as Nandini/Madhura/swathi etc around rajajinagar.<br/><br/>You will also get rotis and curries which is also good. This hotel will be most of the time crowded with bachelors around basaveshwara nagar. Very less space to sit. You may have to wait if you are going as a group(2+ members).

this is my usual hang out. only reason is it was cheap and taste was good. now prices are little increased. a bit congested if many customers come. I always buy a soup making it by two. because its the same quantity as two whole soups.
