Review Tea Trails - Brigade Road - Bengaluru

Supreetha Shrinivas
A quiet spot, perfect for uninterrupted conversations. The ambience wasn't particularly attractive, but it provided a peaceful environment. The food was decent, but not outstanding. The highlight for me was the Boba tea, which was quite good. However, there was a noticeable tea smell in the place, which might not appeal to everyone. Overall, it's a great spot to spend quality time with friends in a calm and tranquil setting. Average cost: 600 for two

Enjoy a delightful cup of hot tea while taking in the stunning view of Brigade Road. We sampled regular tea, ginger tea, masala tea, and chaska bun. Each kettle of tea serves three cutting glasses, so you can share the experience with friends or savor it all to yourself.

Our entire group had gone out here. We were a little disappointed that it serves only veg food but we had a lot of fun. The food is delicious. Would like to specially mention the Boba drinks here which are super good. Food portions are also decent. Overall a good cafe.

Great ambiance with perfect lighting for work. Lots of choice - both hot and cold teas. A good range of food options too. Portions could be bigger. Beverage sizes are decent. Great place to chill with friends at. Highchairs and outdoor seating along with indoor seating. Has a bathroom. A nice touch is the tea-related paintings on the walls.

Had lemon and mango juice . It was good It's a cosy place in Monarch Hotel building( on the first floor ) in Brigade road ( opposite to where Nilgiris was before ) The ambience is really nice and clean . There are tables inside the place and also outside the hall, in the balcony and nice views of Brigade road. Perhpas ideal for the evenings ...after the sunset 🌇 The ac kept cool and some light music 🎶. Quite a nice place to meet up for a drink .

Tea trails is just a perfect when it comes to good tea and also good food, they have a long list of tea choices which we can try out and almost everything tastes amazing. coming to the ambience of the cafe , it in the centre of Brigade Road and the view is just perfect. When it came to food, everything was so good, they serve vegetarian food and had long menu. We started with fries and nachos which went pretty good and tried out the pasta, pizza and few desserts. They make their own pizza spread so it pretty good. The overall experience at tea trails was amazing, recommend to every chai lovers.

The ambiance was very nice, must visit for a nice cup of tea in solitude. The service is a little slow, and food is pricey. Overall good for a one time visit

A quite underrated place on Brigade Road. Pocket friendly as well. I come here every week and it’s a nice place to chill for a couple of hours. My suggestion is to try their Vada Pavs and Ginger Tea.

Great location, wonderful ambience with beautiful and really interesting interiors with outdoor seating facing towards the busy streets of brigade road, offering all varieties of tea and snacks with great service and welcoming staffs. Teatrails is located on the heart of brigade road (diagonally opposite to Wow Momos , above nilgiris). It looks really attractive from outside and it's even more attractive inside. As soon a you get in they have a shelf with really cute vintage miniatures. They also have some amazing wall hangings with solid Bollywood dialogue related to chai. You will definitely relate to it if you are a chai lover. The best part about this place is the outer sitting. It's facing towards brigade road. So you can enjoy the view and your food. This place has so much to offer than just tea and snacks. They have so many varieties of tea both milk based and non-milk. From the milk based tea, we started off with some kullad chai and smoky chai. Kullad chai is brewed with Indian spices and it's served in a baked clay kullad which adds an earthy flavour. The smokey chai is strong and brewed in a tandoori style. From non-milk based tea we tried the mango bubble tea, lemon and mint ice-tea, kashmiri kahwa, lavender and Rose. Kashmiri Kahwa has an exotic blend of green tea, almonds and spices. lavender and rose and kashmiri Kahwa are must haves, the aroma is so delightful and refreshing. They also offer different varieties of snacks , shakes and mains. The Maggie here is must have, they have special way of cooking it. Tried the tea Maggie and thai Maggie, It's cooked full of Thai flavours. Also tried the nachos, cheese fritters, tak-a-tak fries, cheese Chilli bruschetta, bread pakoda, red sauce pasta, fondue pav bhaji. Really loved it. Its prepared really well and the stuffings are really great. They also have some amazing desserts to offer, we tried the loved the crunchy kit-kat waffles. My personal favorites- Kullad chai, lavender and rose and kashmiri Kahwa tea, lemon and mint ice tea, Thai Maggie, nachos, tak-a-tak fries and Fondue pav bhaji. Crunchy kit-kat waffles. Food- 5/5 Ambience -5/5 Service - 5/5

A cafe that focuses a lot on the promotion of tea, has a lot of varieties of tea. The food here is quite exemplary. We had quite a few items here last evening. Mr. Bharath was very kind and courteous. The Fondue Pav Bhaji very well conceived tasted great. The thin crust Three Cheese Pizza was very fluffy. The Cheese Chilli Bruschetta, Tak-a-Tak Fries, Nachos, Cheese Fritters, TT Special Khakra Pizza and Arabiatta Pasta were all tasty. The umpteen varieties of tea stole the limelight in the evening.

It was a little difficult to find the place as it is inside a complex. The ambience is very nice despite being on the bustling brigade road. Went to specifically taste the bubble tea and wasn't disappointed at all. The pizza also tasted good. A good experience and highly recommended
Binit Agarwala
A small cozy place on the first floor, with balcony facing the Brigade Road. They have wide variety of tea, coffee & snack. Had been there last weekend and it was overall a good experience, especially coz it was raining. We ordered lemon grass tea, ginger tea, coffee, Nutella bun Maska, butter bun Maska and cheesy veg Maggie. Everything was freshly & prepared tasted good. They serve tea in a small kettle, which makes the experience even more better.

Tea Trails located right in the middle of Brigade Road. Since parking is scarce on brigade road, we usually park on residency road n walk here. Its inside the Nilgiris complex, so a bit difficult to find. We love sitting in the balcony, sipping on chai n watching life go by. We love the Poha and Mumbaiya Chai here. They have a huge menu filled with vegetarian delights. We keep trying something or the other every visit. Staff is courteous n polite. Nice place to just chill over some chai 👍🏼

Tea trails is a cosy place to stop by the hustling street, especially if you are a tea lover. Or even if you aren't, this is the right place to try something new. In case you don't know much about tea and what to order. They are kind and helpful. The service is neither too quick nor too late. Most of the items in their menu is delicious. You should try the Tea Maggi!! And all the kinds of tea. Kashmiri Kahwa became my favourite. ohhhh!, the Chole Kulche is a must too! It is a perfect place to catch up with a friend and try different flavours of tea together! Cheers with the Chai!

Along with a Verandah sit-out, they also have a decent indoor area. Make sure to bring in your Photographer here. The brew is surely Darjeeling and the Kullad adds the certain earthiness as you would expect The Momos. I make sure I have momos in every city I visit and this was the best I had in my short stay in Bangalore.

If you are tea afficiando, then you must visit here. I'm more of a coffee person but the location of this cafe does the job for it. Bang in the middle of brigade road, it gives a balcony view of the famous street.

Since I was here, I went ahead an tried out their special flavoured tea, Rose and Lavender. It had a great aroma so it was fine. The cheesy bruschetta was crisp. Also try out their range of Pasta.

4/5 for Tea trails. It's more about enjoying the view from there n grab a bite after a tiring shopping time in Brigade road.
Food - 1/5, Service - 1/5, Ambience 3/5, VFM-1/5
The food arrived extremely late. The price is far higher compared to the taste and portion size. Extremely disappointed.

I am giving 3.5. The ambience is very good but good quantity is lesser than expected when I ordered French fries.

Wonderful food.
They host live comedy events also. Great place to listen to comedy and have food.

Was here for a quick chai and a bite but ended up watching some standup. Yeah! A great set up for food and surprises.
Aindrila Choudhuri
This place is unreasonably expensive. 90 bucks for a vada pav and which doesn't taste at all like vada pav, more over the pav was so small in size. I don't think I would visit this place again.
Ruchi Verma
Place is so beautifully and tastefully done , love the Thai curry which they customise according to our demand and detox tea is a must try . Owner make sure that guests leave happy and everything is taken care of well. We are regulars and we highly recommend this place . .

This is a cozy cafe next to Monarch hotel, I visited this spot with a friend to have tea, we ordered Thai Maggie, Iranian tea and Adhrak Chai. The outside seating and the taste of Thai Maggie did make that evening perfect for us. I so loved the small copper chai containers.

Overall- A cozy spot to enjoy good chai and the Bangalore weather.

Another amazing find in the busy and vibrant Brigade Road of Bengaluru city for some amazing food, soothing teas and cozy ambience ❤️

Tea Trails located right in the heart of Brigade Road Market serves some delicious teas starting from Desi Kulhad chai to Kashmiri Kahwa and Green tea to Moroccan Mint. For a tea lover and enthusiast like me, this place is absolute heaven. The place is cute with a little outdoor seating overlooking the market and the interiors are done with a lot of feel of Chai (from Posters to Kettle shaped lights). A full 5 on ambience🔥

Highlights😍

1. Royal Chai: All the tea lovers, do not miss out on this one. Delicious strong chai served in earthen pot (Kulhad) with flavors of ginger and topped with rose petal and silver leaf (varak). A must must must TRYYYYYYYYY!☕☕☕

2. Kashmiri Kahwa: Another amazing hit on the menu. Not all places can pull off serving kahwa in terms of flavors and taste but this one surely does. The presentation is a total winner (Try it out and you will know what I mean) 🍵🍵

3. Veg Panache Salad: Loaded with roasted veggies, peppers and dressed with jalapeno and citrus, this salad is another highly recommended item on the menu (esp. for all the salad lovers 🥗🥗

4. Chilli Cheese Bruschetta : Crunchy and spicy toast loaded with cheese🥪🥪

5. Fondue Pav Bhaji: Delicious, cheesy and tempting Pav Bhaji served with sev, onions & tomatoes and lemon. The presentation will take away your heart😘

6. Coffee Sundae: The best from the desserts! Delicious Coffee flavors with your ice-cream topped with chocolate syrup- Highly Recommended 🍧

7. Crunchy KitKat waffle: Nothing to say! Absolutely delicious 🍫🤤

Overall, a 10/10 experience for me 😃

Went to this place with great expectations after reading so much positive reviews but got disappointed very badly., Don't kno if was just my bad luck..went there at lunch time, they didn't have most of the stuff from their menu.. ended up ordering bun-maska and maggi as they had only that, both were below par taste.. even the Irani tea wasn't upto the mark.. to make the matter worse, they didn't even switched on the AC even after requesting them..
Food : 5/5
Cost: 4/5
Ambience: 5/5
Location:5/5
Staff: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Cleanliness: 5/5

Tea is not just a drink its an emotion.
@teatrails has different types of teas and it is so tasty. The aroma pulls you in with the taste.
Lemon and Mint Ice Tea is a classic thirst quenching refreshing summer drink. It's cold and very different from the normal ice tea. Green tea bliss is another non milk healthy tea. Invigorating green tea and serene jasmine brings out a different experience. They have various varieties of green tea like darjeeling green, jasmin green , chamomile green. Our most favorite chai and the best and must try @teatrails is Royal Chai it looks rich and taste rich. It's a thick chai garnished with rose petals.

A very different chai is the smoky chai made like tandoori. So many other different varieties made good for people. Every tea are different and must try . They have some amazing twists and are served hot and neat. Very well designed chai and has beautiful flavor. It makes you go again. We would definitely go for the Royal Chai. They also have international tea like lapsang souchong, south African rooibos etc

Apart from chai they also have shakes and mocktails. Few must try are Bitter Wife, Naive Monk and chef's special Root Shoot. Shakes like chocolate lava shake and matcha shake are tick and rich to have. The bubble teas are also a must try.

They have the best maggi that we have ever tasted. Maggi and tea are the best combination to have. Vegetable maggi, cheesy maggi , cheese chilli maggi, thai maggi are the must try here. You can also go ahead and try the other combo with tea like bun jam and bun masks, nutella bun masks.

Pav Bhaji and its varieties are also a must try when u visit this place. Fondue Pav Bhaji is the cheesiest pav bhaji served along with accompaniments in fondue set. French fries are anyone's all time favorite same with nachos, both here are good and tasty. Pizzas and Pastas are also served here and its yum. We also tried the veg thai curry and rice combo and its delicious.

Waffles and sundaes are also served here. The kitkat Waffle is a must try and yum. Coffee caramel sundae and red zen sundae is a trip across flavors through a dessert.

It is located on one of the busiest streets of Bangalore and the staffs are friendly and food is great. Overall had an amazing experience.

For any further questions drop in : thekhanalovers@gmail.com

#thekhanalovers
Who doesn't love a tea break, tea trails gives you the perfect excuse to have one. Located in one of the busiest areas of Bangalore 'Brigade road', tea trails is one of those outlets which serve comfort food. True to it's name, tea trails serves some amazing variety of teas. Royal chai was the most authentic tea they serve topped with silver wark and dried rose petals to make you feel royal. Another eye catcher was the bubble tea. They have many flavours out of which I tried cranberry bubble tea. The bubbles were made out of passion fruit and were an amazing combo with cranberry. The cranberry tea didn't had any added flavour, instead the tea leaves they used were cranberry flavoured. The hazelnut cold coffee was something to die for and the extremely refreshing mint and lemon ice tea was a great pick for the menu. To go along with the tea, they have a wide range of starters and finger foods. The authentic Gujarati Dabeli was given a modern twist in Fondue Dabeli. The amritsari chole kulche were also nice. Bread pakora and tea which is considered to be a match made in heaven was the star of the show. A special mention to their in-house green mint chutney which enhanced the taste of the break pakoras. To give you a cheesey high, they serve chilli cheese maggie and cheese fritters with an amazing green mint chutney. To top it all they served Red Zen Sundae for dessert. With a very chilled out and vintage vibe, this place is a must try.

To experience the complete veg food, this place on bridge road has opened. You get the best experience with tea here with a beautiful presentation. I got in love with the vibes of this place. And the food is too good.
The basics but worth trying. Also they use a very good amount of cheese in everything which makes is absolutely a WIN.

Located bang opposite U.S Polo Association (USPA) Showroom Brigade Road. This cafe is located on 1st floor of the facade next to Monarch Hotel. You can’t miss the bright lit up Board inviting you to step in and try this cafe.
This cafe is warm and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Both has its own plus points. You can see some steaming chai in making and soak in the aroma to brighten up your mood being seated inside. On the other side the outdoor bar stool kinda seating overlooking the Busy Brigade Road makes it a different experience all together.

They got great milk/ non milk tea selection served hot/cold .Interesting savouries to accompany your tea. Do try their Tea Maggi, I could literally feel the flavour of tea while gulping down each bite of it.

Bakasura Forever (www.bakasuraforever.in)
At times such peaceful place with open air ambience and nice and cosy interiors is everything that bakasura needs.
Bakasura was here at tea trails on brigade road.
And bakasura is in love with the ambience.
Let me take you through!
Firstly the place is on brigade road and hence parking on the road is a little problematic. It's not a big pub or anything so don't expect to have a valet parking.
The place is located right on brigade road on the first floor. Finding it is not so difficult, just look up to your left while walking and you'll find tea trails written bold.
The place took us away. It has a really cosy interior with blue and yellow chair. The wall arts are awesome, they also have vintage items on display. The small tea pots decor is fab. While all these are the inside space, there is one space outside which took bakasura away. With open wall seating facing the busy brigade road, this is the best you can ever have after a busy day. High chairs with wooden table faces the street. The view is amazing.

Coming to the food, bakasura had lots of it.
To begin with we tried one of their best tea's the Black pepper tea. The tea was exceptionally good and you'll definitely love it if you like spice.
We then ordered Maggie to begin with and it was Tea Maggie. First time ever that bakasura came across such a thing. Tea leaves over hot Maggie adds its own magic. There were multiple flavours of Maggie available so bakasura also ordered thai Maggie which was fabulous.
Coming to the pasta, the red sauce pasta was fantastic and perfect.
We also ordered starters with a funny name, the "tak-a tak fries" which was good. The cheese balls were sooo cheesy that a cheese pull video lasted 1 min.
The pizza that we ordered was of soft base and not thin crust. You don't get thin crust here. The pizza was however good from every corner.
Finally the desserts, KitKat and the crispy waffle we had was exceptionally good. The crispyness of the waffle even after some time was great.

Bakasuras other friends also had lots of other items from sandwiches to pavbhajis which all tasted damn good

Overall, with such beautiful view of brigade road, such cosy ambience and a really really tasty food, this place surely deserves all the goodness.
Highly recommended by bakasura Forever!

Head over here today!

We decide to visit this place randomly while taking a stroll at Brigade road.
I tried Kashmiri Khawa and onion fritters/bhajji...bhajjis were nice and green chutney was delicious.
Kashmiri Khawa was also nice with very good aroma and great way of serving.
Service was quick and they have good space to sit inside as well as outside to have a balcony view of Brigade road.

Definitely recommended!

This place not only serves food but an all together experience. Each food item better that previous one. They magically add different flavors of tea from across the globe to their magnificent range of dishes. The cooking service takes a little longer but wait is worth it as everything is prepared from scratch (even pita) ✨
Very tasty snacks and teas! Must try bubble tea and Irani chai. Very aesthetic ambience. Service is great as well! Good place for relaxed vibe.

Amazing food and courteous staff, nice ambience with overlooking busy brigade road, best place to spend time your friends. We took poha quite delicious and spicy I would say, potato flitters aka aloo pakoda, upma was very tasty, vada pav and cheese garlic bread. Irani chai was too good. Very hygienic place, hope they continue to remain the same on the long run. Must try their tea infused salad

New place in town for all the tea lovers or for friends who just want to talk over chai. It's beautiful place located on the 1st floor giving you an amazing view of Brigade road. The chai's are amazing. Tried the Kulad and ginger chai. They have amazing collection of music. Went to meet my bestie here. Just like the Tea Trails tell "sometimes have tea with your best friend is all the therapy you need".
The cheese fitters were yum😋.

In the hush hush of the Brigade Road there is this new cozy yet vibrant cafe. As the name suggests its a home for all CHAI lovers . Having said that they have kept in mind the menu for non chai lovers as well.

The menu has a wide range of options to choose from. There are all day breakfast, munchies, pasta, burgers, waffles, pancakes, maggie n many more.

I ordered for a tak tak fries and it was really nice with the right amount of spice. I went about to order choco lava shake but the guy there suggested us to try brownie shake which wasnt on the menu yet, it was worth the try for sure. It was just yummm.

Loved the over all experience. The staff are also really friendly and they strike a conversation to understand the customer's satisfaction. Really good. A must try !
