Review Dragon's Kitchen - Bengaluru

Sachin Sreekumar
A real hidden gem in HSR layout to try out the Chinese dishes. Super taste, reasonable rates, well mannered staffs. The service was very quick. They will explication you each and every dish you would like to try. Will visit again. Cheers. There is no dedicated parking but you can find few spots nearby.

TINY AND BUDGET MINDED ! The restaurant, Dragon’s Kitchen is peaceful, well lighted. Highlights include the chicken manchow soup which has a unique spicy tangy flavor, the noodles which was cooked perfectly so the texture and taste were perfect, and the nibbles that is addictive and yummy. The cozy and rustic setting in HSR Layout makes it a popular spot for students, dates and small groups. The dishes focus on seasonality and using fresh, local ingredients, making it a great option if you're looking for something different and cheaper than your typical chinese fare. The service is friendly and professional. Some of the items on their extensive menu include noodle soups, seafood, roast meats, fried rice, wide noodles and rice plates. The thin noodles are very chewy and tender. The spices used in the noodles are always a little higher, but the dishes they serve are always delicious. If you're looking for a place to get your chinese fix without breaking the bank, Dragon’s Kitchen is perfect for you.

Food is just good... If you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant at affordable price then this place is a must visit. Ambience is based on Chinese dragon theme...red light all over.. They have combos that is super affordable but it's available only from 12pm-3:30pm.. located at a very prime location..

If you like to have taste, healthy Chinese dishes customized to Indian taste buds, you must try here. Kid likes Chinese dishes hence visited this basement hidden tiny restaurant. We ordered Dragon Chop suey 🍝 and Beijing red chicken appetizers 🍗. What surprised us was the nimbleness of service, within 5 minutes our order was ready. The chicken used was tasted like Manchurian, but our souls enjoyed it. Clean and hygiene, price is higher than street but economical than other posh restaurants in HSR. What matters is their signature and authentic taste. No restaurant on plant will meet everyone’s expectations, this is worth for the price in that locality. They are operating with minimal staff at maximum efficiency. Staff is polite and they speak good Hindhi. Overall, yes we need such restaurants around our homes 🏡 👍

Pocket Friendly tasty Asian food in HSR! Generous portions Great taste Friendly service Clean and safe Cozy ambiance Good News:- For people who get offended with certain food ingredients (current Indian context), need not worry. They do not serve food with those ‘TWO’ ingredients.

Hidden gem. Went there today for lunch after reading mixed reviews. To my surprise food was pretty good. I ordered Chinese chopsey and tom yum soup which are generally my benchmarking dishes for any Chinese restaurant. Both were really good full of flavors with decent quantity and quality. Due to the pandemic, I guess most of the orders they serve are online deliveries and that may probably be one of the reason why some people have given bad ratings. Chinese food loses all its glory when ordered online and best enjoyed when it's fresh served in-dining with all the crispness and graduation of flavors. Only downer is the upkeep of the place. Since the influx of dining customers is less the place appears haphazardly maintained with some raw materials kept in the sitting space. Overall a very good value for money and a good economical Chinese options specially in HSR area. Overall bill came to 366 which is totally worth it. (soup+chopsey+coke+5%gst)

Excellent service and quality of food. It is a small place however the ambiance is very good and peaceful. The taste and quality of the food is awesome. I have ordered from swiggy also but I recommend to dine in as the order was not upto par with the taste that I got when I went and had the same food.

Amazing service, the employees are the most curtious and have the sweetest attention to detail! The food was just amazing 😋, each item was just tantalizing to my tongue. - Spring roll - Dragon chicken - chicken Noodles

The good is great and pretty affordable even wrt non vegetarian items. We intended to dine in the restaurant but there were a lot of mosquitoes hence took a take away. But the food was pretty good and fish was well cooked. Worth trying

Small place with great food! Tried: * Superb manchow chicken soup - fried noodles, egg and vegies * Lemon pepper chicken with great sauce * American Chop suey - a little too sweet and saucy than needed Pros: * Value for money * Polite staff * Quick service Cons: * A bit dark ambience * Basement location

Used to be great place for chinese food in HSR but now need to improve on taste.

Visited the restaurant after hearing a lot from friends about same and must say it was one of the best noodles I ever had before in chinees style staffs are very friendly and maintained the restaurant well
Abhishek Ghoshal
It is a small joint but their food is amazing. One of the best Chinese join in HSR. The price too are very much affordable
Ravi Kumar Reddy Koothati
Hunan Chicken and Peking wings were delicious
Tharun Dev
Fried Rice was really good. Mongolian Chicken was good too but using artificial colour could be avoided.

I recently dined at Dragon's Kitchen and was blown away by the amazing Chinese food they offer. Located in a small space with limited tables, this hidden gem is definitely worth visiting. Although the service was a bit slow, the incredible taste of the food more than made up for it. I especially enjoyed the chinese dishes that they offer, each prepared with great care and attention to detail. The flavors were truly exceptional and was a little on the spicier side. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is expanding the beverage menu.
Lipok Longchar
Honest feedback- Worst food I've eaten in my entire life. Not exaggerating. This is as polite and friendly as I can.
Simran Martinian
Serves amazing chinese food! Ambience is not great! But the food here is very tasty at a decent price.
Ankitareddi03
The staff is not at all efficient, they missed out two dishes which I had ordered for home delivery. And the phone number of the restaurant does not work.
We were left hungry and starving after waiting for 45 mins.
BHARGAVI.S. REDDY
Enjoy the food every time I visit. Wanton soup, leafu chicken must try... Friendly staff, Good food... Though the place is very small good place to visit.
Ranjit Sreeram
Around 2012 they use to serve good food. The standards have gone down now. Recently went for dinner and ordered 4 items nothing was good. Left the place disappointed and hungry.
Rahul Chandana
Affordable restaurant with good food. Almost all items on menu are very affordable while they maintaining taste. It's a pretty small place good for families. We order food from here regularly and they accommodate modification to orders.
Mitali Gupta
Their Gobi Manchurian is fried chili Gobi. If I can't be sure that a basic dish will be as it should be, can't order again. The taste is like that of any other place, haven't tried other items ordered.
Edit - I like their Cantonese noodles
Zinusha
Just ok experience. Dine-in experience is definitely better than delivery. Customisations are easier for dine in orders.

Value for Money Restaurant. Good food. Good behaviour of Hosts. Small but cozy place. Decent ambience. Koithai is a speciality in the restaurant. Visit it once.
Pradeep Basavaraj
A disappointing experience with food and service.
Asian (specially Chinese) is my favourite cuisine so I am always excited to try a new Chinese restaurant in town. I visited this place with a great expectation. The ambiance is quite nice. Laidback and simple.
The menu has a separate section for Indian and Chinese. Thukpa being my go-to food in any small restaurant I ordered one thukpa for myself.
I have tried homemade Thukpa from Arunachal Pradesh to multiple restaurants in different parts of Bangalore. I agree that restaurants can't match the taste of home made thukpa but the restaurants were never disappointing as this one.
They served noodles with black bean sauce and some chicken. I called the waiter and double checked with him and he assured me that was Thukpa. It was nowhere close to Thukpa.
I don't think I will go or order online something from this place. I never know what I will get next time.
Dhvani Bakshi
One of the best Chinese places in HSR at the moment, love their food.
Their main course is amazing, haven’t tried their starters. And momos are okay, not the best but not too bad as well.
Akriti Bindal
I love going to dragons kitchen! It’s one of the best Chinese restaurants in HSR Layout, affordable and yummy. The serve variety of dishes and most of them are good!
Pallavi Sharma
not good
Aishwarya Iyengar
I had ordered veg but received no veg
Siddharth Panigrahi
Had dragon's chicken here and the chicken was more like a manchurian instead, very disappointed. Stumped by the irony! (2/5)

The noodles were fine (3/5).

The ambience is cool and little dark place (3.5/5).

The service can improve (3/5).
Sikha Moni Hazarika
Super awesome restaurant for Chinese dishes. Love those Momos & Chowmein. If you to taste something spicy you can give here a try. While the plain noodles or hakka noodles taste is simply wow.
Shivani More
I have ordered from this place multiple time. Pretty decent food for the money charged. Dragon choupsey is my favorite here. Hygiene is a concern though but otherwise have been happy with this place :)
Lalit Yenni
best chinese chowmein
Lalit Yenni
the chilli chowmein and the chicken gravy items here are very tasty, they also add enough spices to make it taste better But the only issue is egg noodles doesnt have enough egg in it otherwise the taste is good enough.
Ashutosh
The worst kind of Chinese food i had in my life. Be it the Dragon Chicken or Gralic Chicken Noodles or Fried Rice..everything was so pathetic.
Gaurab Ganguly
Honest, simple, good food! One of the better chow-meins I've had in Bangalore.
Ordered one chilly chicken garlic chow mein and kung pau chicken!
The chow mein itself was so flavorful and good in texture even on delivery, we hardly needed the gravy! Infact, felt like we wasted few bucks ordering the kung pao chicken (which was okay) - could have rather done with a starter/appetizer instead. Not just taste and portion size, but given the decent price points, this place is good value for money as well!

Surely ordering again - but with a starter next time :)
Moosa Saleem
Very nice :)
Priya
Egg hakka noodles, pan fried chicken in celery n onions and dragon rolls is my awesome. Best thing about dragon kitchen is there is no overdose of sauces and spice in the noodles
Jeet
Tucked away under a garment store.its difficult to find out the restaurant.Quaint and peaceful ambience..not much of it but pretty alright.Loved the momos and the drums of heaven.Portioning of gravies can be a little more generous..will add more value.
Almaas Ansari
I have not visited this place but have ordered chilly garlic noodles when I was craving for some good spicy Chinese food! Delivery was in time and quantity was good for the price! They served less spicy chilly garlic noodles which came with additional red chilli chutney which you can use as per your taste. Even their butter garlic noodles are also good.
Lalit Rane
How to reduce the quantity of food? Reduce the quantity and Make it very spicy !!! Dirty trick used by restaurants when they reduce the quantity (especially Non-Veg). Food earlier at Dragon's Kitchen was very good. We ordered food here at least half a dozen times. For food at this place a year before, I would have given 5 star. Now reduced it to 3. Dragon's Kitchen is now sending food with reduced quantity and also making it very spicy. Increase the price, but please send good quality food.
Asha Samuel
This is a small place in HSR. They have good food and the service is great. We had gone for lunch and had ordered chicken chopsuey which was excellent, leefu fried rice and leefu noodles were good a bit oily. We had schezwan fried rice which was spicy and nice and the chilly chicken was good too. The food is light and you don't feel stuffy after eating. All of us liked the food.
Dharmraj Narvare
Great food, great price. Must try szechuan crispy veg.
During weekend best place to try something spicy with your gang. #soup #manchow # noodles
Rubin Chandrakanthan
Deliveru was on time ..Noodles was really nice. Rice in the fried rice was a little under cooked that was the only disappointment .. every thing else was fine
Rajeev Radhakrishnan Menon
Great taste, food was very good. All of us loved. Always use to see the restaurant from outside but never had been there earlier. My kid had suggested and it definitely turned out to be good

The restaurant is hard to find as it is basement. Can improve ambiance

Last week I took a take away . the food was good for its price . I ordered chicken fried rice , mixed noodles , chille chicken ...
I would say only one thing is improve you packing the foil boxes don't serve the purpose. .

Today 15th April I had been again to this place for a takeaway and believe the food is good .BUT BAD PACKING CONTAINERS the chille vinegar they packed had spilled all over my car seat ... very very bad that's why I'm reducing from 3.5 to 2
Wake dragon Team

This is a very small place which is in HSR Layout. We reached here for dinner and the place was empty. They have lot of Chinese varieties. It might be hard to find this place because it is in the underground of a building.

We ordered ;

Dragon Chicken - This stater was tasty and a perfect starter for meal. I don't think it will be bad in any place and we did not want to take risk after all. It was good for two people.

Chicken Szechwan Noodle - This noodle was not so spicy and the noodle was very thin type. The chicken was fresh in noodle. They quantity was good enough for a big tummy people.

Chilli Garlic Noodle - This was also nice and it had a proper garlic taste also . They have all similar type of noodle. I liked this noodle better than the other one.

The service was just alright and pocket friendly place around HSR layout.
Gaurab Bhuyan
The tum yum was simple n done well, with Thai flavours of lemon grass n tomatoes ! The broccoli cooked to perfection and lemon pepper chicken was unexpectedly good, with low oil n quite yummy, mildly spicy n perfectly lemony 😍! Can't wait to try out the noodles next time...
Niraj Shah
Worst chinese....

Definetly a skip....

Guess hygiene is issue here... Ordered once at home n had to visit loo again n again... Happened with my other frnd as well
Achintya Datta
Had been to this place for a lunch and ordered lefu chicken noodles. I understand from them lefu means green color but other chinese restaurant explained me there are some leafy vegetables will be there like spinach etc. After looking into the noodles it was green color and full spicy. Now green color is not because of leafes, hardly you will find some signs of leaves. But mostly looked color and green chilli paste.

When asked for provide some raw onion rings, it was totally denied and was said to me that they only provide sause and not onions. Wow!

Lot of azzino in the food and don't think so its worth to have daily.

Quantity of noodles is good but chicken and egg hardly you will find.
Sukanya Nagaraj
The nearest Chinese restaurant to my place. Had been here for dinner with my brother. The ambience is average. We had ordered for chilly chicken, dragon chicken and dragon chopsuey. Well the starters were gud but dragon chopsuey was very average. I would go back to this place for starters.
Kayfabe
Are you sitting at home in HSR, browsing all that Swiggy has to offer in terms of photoshopped menus and wondering in whose fare you should place your trust? If it's comfort food you desire then Dragon's Kitchen is the place for you.

When it comes to greasy Chinese (or at least Indo-Chinese) food, this place won't disappoint. The mixed (non veg) butter garlic noodles are quite good and the peppered mushrooms are a treat. The mixed fried rice and chilli or garlic chicken also qualify as food therapy. Try it. Get fatter.
Arpita
I ordered some chicken soup that costed 100 Rs. and it had very pale clear watery broth with 4 pieces of chicken 1 cm cube each wow!! haha watch your money go in vain here.
Soham Goswami
Ok this place ka outrightly dirty
We had stepped in to have our dinner and the food that was served was hot ( chilies) , seemed like they had purchased excess chilies and were given a target to get rid of it at one go
The food was smelling of ajinomoto and more than noodles I was bitting the ajinomoto chunks

My apologies for having stepped into your restaurant . Will never make this mistake again
Deepak Tiwari
Ambiance is average.
Food taste is average. All stuff they serve, tastes the same. May be because they use same gravy and sauce for preparations.
Serving size is on smaller side.
Have visited this place 2 to 3 times.
Divya Singh
The Chinese served here was by far the best I have had in the past year. It was spicy and greasy, everything good Chinese food should be. We had chilli chicken, schezwan chicken noodles and veg schezwan noodles.. And the taste was authentic and absolutely reasonable. The restaurant was a bit suffocating being in the basement but the food makes up for it. If you don't like the place just take away..
Naveen Moorjani
One of those slightly below par hence in-budget places.
You can go there to dine but I recommend ordering in or take away given their ambience is rather shady. I once took my family there for dinner but because of insects and lack of AC, I regretted my decision.
But, the food is decent. We've done a few house parties where we ordered in bulk and weren't disappointed. Noodles and rice are generally on the mark but I don't recommend getting too creative when ordering gravy - just stick to the basic hout-n-sour or munchurians and you'll be good.
As with any place with this budget, I don't expect consistency, neither should you.
J Kuttan
Hsr got a girth of good Indochinese places and these guys are not helping either .
They serve below average food with a casual dine price

No go for me
Tushar Bhardwaj
I have been to their outlet multiple times and the quantity they serve is quite good. But once when I ordered through swiggy the quantity was stright away "HALVED"..I dont who has to be blamed between swiggy and Dragon's kitchen but I was quite disapointed..Thats straight away cheating after you receive money.Quality was also veryuch compromised...POOR SHOW

We ordered through zomato today for home delivery. Firstly the order took 1 hour 45 min to reach after multiple phones calls to the hotel. Than the parcel bag was all dirty with sauce having leaked all over. When we get to the food the order was wrong we got non- veg soup instead of veg soup and starter was also not the same as what we ordered as well as stinking. When we called the hotel they denied and said that we had placed incorrect order. Ultimately we had to loop in zomato who helped out by making hotel realize that they made the error and agreed to resend the order as well as refund us for incorrect order. Be careful of what you order with this place but 5 stars to zomato for helping out
Priyanka Ghosh
The worst service i have recieved. After taking the order the guys call nd say they dont deliver just because they dont know the route. The delivery area was just 2-3kms away. When i asked the store manager to ask the delivery guy to ask the way, he bluntly said the delivery boy cant go arnd asking people. I mean this is shear non sense.

People please learn how to speak to your customers atleast. Honest Advise.

Dragon Kitchen was once a fav. But now will prefer not ordering again.
Ambreen Shaikh
I had ordered manchow soup n chicken Manchurian semi gravy the delivery was on time n the taste was good but the quantity given was quite less for the price paid and the chicken had the cornflour coating which makes the taste bad n not good for stomach too
Prajna Dhall Samant
We ordered food through Swiggy in our office- Schezwan noodle(veg n non-veg) ; chopsy; prawn and mushroom starters.

*Poor service- No forks/spoon , which really sucked, as it is given thing when we order food; Packing was not good.

*Less quantity as compared to the price charged.

*Food- oily and not that tasty.

Overall-Won't go for second time as I can get more tasty food for the same price.
Surabhi Mishra
Ordered through Swiggy. Food was decent. Not too oily or greasy and was delivered super hot. We had the chicken manchow soup which was good and so was the Triple Schezwan fried rice. The momos were not good as the outer cover was too thick and the filling was not enough.
Soumi Chaudhuri
One of those cosy places near my office where we often lunch out. The place serve good food in reasonable price. I love their crispy dragon vegetables. There is nothing much to say about the ambiance although their service is quick. The only drawback I feel is that they don't accept card payments. Overall nice place to try. Card payment should be started for the convenience of the customers.
Nitish Venugopal
I happen to visit this place last night for dinner.

Ambience - 3/5 (Red color is key, nothing else seems to give a good ambience )
Food - 4.5/5
Service- 3/5 (They are not ready to serve you plates, water and pour some more food to your plate)

They could not accept Cards for payment, which is big dis-appointment for me.
Sanjitha Ramnath
Chinese food is so easy and we are so used to it over the years that you think what could possibly go wrong but well it can. I wasn’t so impressed by the food i ate here. Much can be improved in terms of food and ambiance. Prices are cheap but equal to what they offer. Nothing great.
TOM THOMAS
They serve delicious food. I am big fan of the Tom Yum Soup from the menu here and is my favourite Soup during the cold nights in Bangalore.
First time when I went there I really felt chocked as the place sits in a basement without proper ventilation. I was not happy with the place but the food compensated for it fault.
Ravish Malhotra
We were craving for some good Chinese stuff and thought of ordering from Dragon's Kitchen. Being a resident of HSR layout, this seemed quite feasible as it was in the neighborhood. I haven't been to this place, so can't comment on the ambience.

We ordered Chilli babycorn and Thai fried chicken among starters; Chicken Szechwan noodles and dragon chopsuey in main course. The starters and the noodles were too oily. And the taste was a tad too bland. The price of the items was not justified based on the quality they serve as I have had better Chinese food at comparatively lesser rates. And I also had a stomach upset the following day because of their food. Highly disappointed.

Sanjukta Mukherji
Ordered food from Dragon's Kitchen one Sunday because my lazy self didn't allow me to cook. Was not expecting much, but turned out to be surprisingly good! The Dragon Chicken is super delicious. Top of that the veg hakka noodles is YUMMM!!! The Swiggy delivery added to the great experience further. People in HSR...a must try for Chinese food.
Shreya Deshpande
Ordered for food instead of going there, so it's a completely food based review. My friend and I ordered for Vegetarian Lifu Rice, Gobi Manchurian Gravy and Buttered Garlic Noodles. So whether all this tastes authentic Chinese is beyond me because this cuisine isn't up my tastebud alley, but it sure tasted good. Unlike most places, the Lifu rice wasn't spicy but the Gobi Manchurian was a little too spicy for my liking. The buttered garlic noodles was a sure shot winner - full of flavour and light on the tummy. I'd say it was a pocket friendly meal ordered and filled our tummies to the fullest.
Sumoy Halder
We ordered Chicken Halka noodles, dry chilli chicken and steamed chicken momo. While the chilli chicken was not bad, momo stuffing was not well cooked. All the dishes were cold despite being packed in aluminium boxes. The noodles was very bland. We mixed pepper on top of it to make it edible. When we called up and complained about the momo, they said they'll replace it in 15 mins but no one showed up eventually.
Yogesh Vardkar
Have been there on two separate occasions and the experience has been a bit underwhelming. The ambience is decent without being outstanding.Service was quite impressive but food taste and quality was not up to the mark.Overpriced not value for money.Verdict - Disappointing
Dipankar Sri Gyan
We ordered food from this place via Swiggy. Thanks to Swiggy for delivering the order quickly. Food was above average. We ordered chopsey both Veg and non veg and we felt it was just average. We had ordered one chicken starter (Dragon Chicken) which tasted good. May b our expectation was pretty high and that's y we were disappointed with the average taste we got. Next time we will try some other things.

This is what first comes to our mind whenever we want to have Chinese food.Though it is lesser known but it one of those places which can fully satisfy your craving for delicious Chinese food.It is very pocket friendly and staffs are very well mannered.Recommend this place if you want to enjoy Chinese food which is highly pleasant to the taste.
Amrita Mukhopadhyay
Another awesome restaurant for Chinese lovers at hsr layout...awesome food...awesome service... N the price also very reasonable! I visited this place back to back 3 times within 2 months... Loved it!
Rohan
One of the lesser known Chinese restaurant but one of the best in HSR. Quite small, hardly 5-6 tables in the place. Mostly a take away kinda place im guessing. DOne in the usual colors of red that so often represent such a place.

Service is unpredictable. At times it is quick and at times pretty slow. Some times you get your main course before the starters. Yet a good option to have Chinese. Do try their Dragon Chicken in starters. They have good variety in Fried Rice. Loved their Lefu Fried Rice and Bamboo Fried Rice along with good variety of options in main courses.

This place is on the top of my list when it comes to Chinese cuisine in HSR. They have a LCD screen and they let us watch programs as per our liking :D .They dont take cards so carry enough cash else a trip to the ATM would be required.
Urmila Rai
I'm never going to go this place. The taste has slowly become worst. In the beginning they were good. Recently I ordered chicken fried rice , chicken was slightly hard and I think it wasn't even fresh. Avoid this place.
Gulsher Ahmed
Bad experience Twice.. ordered food on phone and what i received was mix of what i ordered and what I did not. Also the chicken was not fresh plus it was fried atleast twice. Think before you order late night...
Dixi Shah
I got a take away form this place and I do not recommend it!
I got dragon chopsuey which I was not happy with.
the only thing I thought good was the spring rolls
the schezwan rice was really bad! very bland and tasteless. It had only color and chicken pieces which weren't even cooked! I don't know if they serve all their customers like this or if it was special cuz it was a take away!!
They charged 550rs or something for 4 dishes out of which only one was good. I'm very disappointed.!
H.B
Having ordered from here over a dozen times now, I can safely say these guys do the best Chinese in HSR Layout. I've never dined in, but home delivery usually takes 45-60 minutes, with one day winning at just 25 minutes. The food is very consistent, Calcutta style Chinese. Try their mixed fried rice with its generous chunks of chicken and prawn, the mixed noodles, and pretty much any of their sides. Their prawn sides are surprisingly good, with the prawn being fresh, large and well cooked. The low pricing makes it even more surprising, and attractive. The food is always hot, non greasy, and easy on the stomach. Plus, the guy answering the phone is pretty nice too. They don't take card for delivery, and if you're out of cash they'll send the food over anyway, requesting you to drop by and pay anytime during the week. Rare, risky, but just one of those things which make me a fan of the Dragon.
Manjary
Had ordered for some home delivery using Swiggy. Confirmation came quickly and according to app details, pick up boy also reached the restaurant within minutes. But it was after that the ENDLESS WAITING began. I guess it took an hour for the restaurant to finally despatch the meal. However, the food was a major disappointment. Packaging was OK ok, quantity also OK, value for money- not at all. I have had better Chinese at far lesser prices. Preparation and presentation- oily and bland. Taste- Manchurian was fine and rest of the order was disappointing. Not going to order again from this place.
Priyamvada Singh
I ordered a home delivery for a starter, Garlic chicken. Nothing special and over priced for the quantity. they did not even deliver a spoon or fork to eat with :/
Priyarha Chigurupati
We ordered food for home delivery. The food is meh. The gravies were tasteless. Bad food experience. Not worth the 190 bucks charged for each dish. But the delivery was quick :)
Tathagata
If possible I would have given a lower rating. I ordered for home delivery and these guys decided to cancel my order after taking the order and promising a delivery time. They did not even have the courtesy of calling me up and letting me know that the order is cancelled. There were false promises at the end of the first follow up I did when they told me that the delivery boy has left their place for delivering the food. The second follow up had them rudely disconnecting the line without explanation for the cancellation. Horrible experience!
Nishant Kumar
Just a regular Chinese restaurant .

Flat noodles, good taste, good service.

Please don't have any expectations . I will again highlight, its a regular Chinese restaurant.

Sirish Aditya
The food is really good. The orders are served very fast. And the price is quite reasonable. Its not a fancy place but well maintained and clean.
JC
Good place, good food, but location is bit occurred. If they can move to a better place, they can make better business. Pocket friendly and nice choice for Chinese food varities.
Akhil Khandeparkar
A bit claustrophobic place with average Chinese food being served here. Nothing great about this place but you will be fed without burning a hole in your pocket and probably a bit more hygienic than the roadside chinese. So better parcel your meal
Pushpendu Roy
Have been there on two separate occasions and the experience has been a bit underwhelming. The ambience is decent without being outstanding. The food, noodles and manchurian to be precise, was decent without being memorable. The noodles are almost tasteless while the manchurian or the Paneer Chilly is okayish. With the number of options available for a chinese-craving tongue, the place has to improve on the taste front.
Melisha Noronha
We accidentally landed at this place. Its a very small space with a humble attempt at giving the ambience a Chinese look. I was looking for Indo-Chinese flavours and the place met expectations. The quantity was decent and the service was very good. The issue was the little mouse that kept moving in and out of teh restaurant.
Neha
Chilli garlic noodles and chicken was ordered. Delivery was quick and food was okay. Just found a hair in the noodles which was a mood buster. Quantity was very good.
Dee (Gastronauts' Den)
The food is all right. Not so great that it would make you want to return. Rather, the food quality has gone down in the last couple of months. Chopsuey 'used to be' great here.
Suryanarayan.tiwari
Stopped here while coming from Whitefield at around 10 pm. Me and one friend both were hungry so tried this place.
Service was quite impressive but food taste and quality was not up to the mark.
Overpriced not value for money.
Would not recommend this place.

Nero
horrible place!! literally the very first place i ate out at hsr layout n could not finish my chicken fried rice(with barely any chicken in it). looks like its being run by amateurs. no i think a bunch of idiots, wont even recommend it to my foes. i ve seen customers arguing with the staff about everything. ur life would be better if u avoid this place
Rahul Prabhakar
Had been here for a quick bite on our way to a trip, food tastes amazing and it is definitely worth a visit, but the place can be hard to find

Dragon's Kitchen.... Yeah it's a good chinese restaurant when compared to other chinese restaurants in HSR.... Had ordered from this place before and have a new experience everytime... When hungry and want to have chinese food this place is a good option... Whether it's noodles, rolls or rice items I like all of these... Right on time you can say that.... U don't have to wait much.... I really liked the hakka noodles.... When I visited this place it was not as I had expected because the place is a bit small... The service is fast though... Affordable and upto the mark...

Liked it here initially but got bored after a few times and the taste was not as good as before.
You can try it out if you dont have high expectations.

This place delivers stale food. I had ordered hakka noodles and chilly chicken gravy on a hungry afternoon. The food was delivered in next 45 mins. But the bill that they had sent was a sham! They charged me Rs. 420/-. The man was in a hurry and I paid him and he left.

Later I went through the bill correctly and found they had charged me for 2 noodles instead of one. Though, it was bad on my part as well, but could have been avoided.

I called the delivery guy, who was still in the vicinty and he returned me Rs.100 back.

Again there was a mistake in the no. of containers, and he again had to come back to return rs. 20 more...phew...was quite fed up of the incorrect random bill by then.

Coming to the food, the chilly chicken had humongous pieces of chicken with very thick batter on top, really doughy and stringy in the center. The chicken smelled funnyily fishy, guess due to being not so fresh!

The noodles very nice, thin noodles with crunchy veg..no complaints there. But at Rs.190 the chicken was a complete rip-off.

The place is situated at about 2kms from HSR DEPOT bus stop on the outer ring road. But it is not difficult to find it, as it can be seen on the main road itself. Came here to treat my roommates on account of my birthday.
The ambience accounts for around 6 to 7 tables with simple chinese decor.

We ordered for Veg Dragon Roll, Honey Chilli chicken for starters. Mix Veg in Devil Sauce, Veg Triple Schezwan Fried Rice and Chicken Singapore Noodles for main course. Veg Tripple Schezwan does come with gravy itself. So if your going to order it, one does not need another side dish.
Food beats the price. Wished they had a bigger place.
Recommend only bachelors to try this place.

Pros :
Amazing food quality.
Service is good.
Prices are very cheap.
Good for Parcel or home delivery only.

Cons :
The kitchen is so close to where you sit that you hear the tumbling of cooking vessels.
The place is located at the basement and there is no proper ventilation.
Worst part, they do not have an AC to beat the heat.

We were regular customers of Dragon Kitchen HSR as its very close to our place.Quality of food is just ok. Today we opted for take away and found a used band-aid in the gravy. We complained for the same but the owner was not available. we wont ever have anything there again!!!!

A small Chinese restaurant in HSR. Now, when I mean 'Chinese', I mean the Indianized version of Chinese food. And by 'small', I mean 10*12 sq. ft small. The selection is the usual fare of veg and non-veg(read chicken and fish) dishes. When we went, their exhaust fan had given up on them, and we were treated to the smoke coming out of the kitchen. The manager was nice enough to point this out to us beforehand. But we decided to brave the smoke and settled down for our lunch. So, we ordered noodles, noodles, and more noodles. The butter garlic noodles was quite nice and so was the hakka noodles. The Schezwan noodles I felt was little too spicy(read not hot). Though the noodles themselves were pretty good, the same can't be said about the chicken pieces in them. The pieces felt like they had just been taken out of the fridge and cooked rather hastily and added to the noodles as a last minute thought. Among the chicken items that we ordered, the chilly chicken was good(Duh!). The garlic chicken and crispy chicken tasted almost the same, albeit a different sauce. But to be fair, the cornflour coating on them was too thick for me to be able to discern the flavors.
If I were you, I would go there just for the noodles and probably carry my own gravy with me.

I used to eat at Dragon's Kitchen very often. The food was pretty good. A few months ago, the ownership changed. One of the staff has taken over the ownership. All I can say is that the quality has gone down very badly. The quantity, service, cleanliness all have become very bad. Even the quality of the food is suffering. I had to search for chicken in my chicken noodles. It will sound like I'm exaggerating, but recently, the chicken noodles looked like it was just plain noodles, with no chicken, egg, vegetables, seasoning, etc... I requested to speak with the owner, and when he inspected the food, surprisingly, he told me that he didn't see any problem. Even though he has seen me a many, many times in the past and I have never expressed any complaints, he still did not see that there may be a problem with the food. I am very disappointed.

I only had a take-away experience with them so i would comment only on the food. I ordered spring rolls and veg noodles. Both were delivered in time. The spring rolls was bit oily but the noodles was good.

Ordered some home delivery. Chilly chicken was good. Dragon's chicken was also ok. The preparations are regular indo chinese style but its ok to match our taste. The prices are economic & fast delivery. Veg fried rice was oily, rice had some basmati flavor although it was short grain non basmati rice but fried rice tastes weird when prepared with basmati flavoured rice. Fried rice definitely needs a lot of improvement. Overall its worth your money for some quick delivery of economical everyday food.

Easily the best Chinese place in whole of HSR iv been to. All the dishes are a mouthful. So dont order a lot and struggle later to finish ur dish. The chicken dragon chopsuey is one of the best dishes i loved. And the place is set in a calm quiet surrounding also.I rate it 4 stars.

Ordered lemon basil, chilli garlic rice and schezwan chicken gravy.... Nothing that I could say it was decent also to go visit once... Lemon basil chicken was too sour to put it in ur mouth... Schezwan chicken was chicken dumping just put in the sauce and given dint even stir it just for the sake of it too... Very disappointing

This place is full of taste. Tried fried rice and some chicken dishes. The flavour of the fried rice was awesome. We ordered(take away) one fried rice just to taste and come back if it was good. Quantity was soo big and the taste was yummy. Place to visit.

It's a small place in HSR, hard to find for people coming first time. I have been there a lot and tried several dishes, and there is not even one which I didn't like. Their service is as good as their food plus it is not very expensive either. They are among the best place for Chinese food that I have been to.

Silly located in basement. Food tastes stale, uncooked at times.
Economically priced. Well, I would say..better chinese food is avaiable across town..
