Review Uncle Johnny Cafe - Bengaluru

Nice laid back chill out spot.. its surprising how I have missed this after staying right next to it for over a year. They have only vegetarian food to offer, but whatever food they serve is served properly. Had a variety of things cos we were looking to kill some time. The place has nice vibes and if you come on a windy evening, the terrace spot is just awesome. Go here for best vegetarian dishes and better than that service. 5/5

Situated on the Buzzing streets of Koramangala, just near Sony world signal is Uncle Johnys cafe. Located on the 4th floor with an open view terrace. This place is vegetarian and they seem to be quite decent with their menu offerings. This place is available on Zomato Gold 😊 The food plating and taste was good. They serve a huge list of beverages. I am also told that their Hookah is very good. Since I dont smoke, I didn't try it. The best drink here was the Peanutbutter shake. The best food that I tried was the Pineapple paneer chilly. The owners are young and friendly. The place has a huge screen for projecting sports and events. The place is quite college hangout types. Uncle Johnny’s Café is located a few steps from Sony World Signal at Koramangala. This place has a decent ambience for a cafe and we enjoyed the outdoor section. With a hot summer in Bangalore, the open space made us feel very comfortable 😊 Pros: The best Peanut Butter Shake!!!! No compromise on peanut butter coz it was loaded 😋 The Ferrero Rocher shake and Kit Kay were good too. Apple and Walnut salad was superb! The apple was ripe n sweet which blended perfectly with the strong burnt walnut taste. Mushroom Starter Hookah (others at the table liked it) Cheese fries. But, the cheese did not come out as expected. WALL ART 👌🏼 Cons: ONLY VEG 🤨 Paneer Chilli was blaah. Pizza coz it was Veg and the crust was not thin. All in all, a decent place to chill 😊

Started off the weekend by visiting this new Hooka hub in Koramangala. Located in the prime of the city, here is another addition that smokes up some interesting flavours of hooka. It is a quaint place going after the 90s cartoon Johnny bravo who after twenty years is now Uncle Johnny for us! The ambience takes you back to all those cartoons we loved watching on cartoon network! So wished they aired them all again. The highlight surely being the watermelon hooka where both the base and chillum were made from watermelon with a milk base. How creative is that! The food menu is all vegetarian but they do have a lot of options to choose from. We ordered the veg platter where you can choose five of your favourite appetizers in a plate. The food was satisfactory. The service was really good and they are pretty prompt with attending to their customers. Cannot miss mentioning the hygiene these guys maintain. Was pretty clean amongst all the hooka places (believe us we have been to quite a few of them). Loved the KitKat and peanut butter shakes! OUR RATING Taste - 4/5 Hooka - 4/5 Ambience - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Hygiene - 5/5 Value for money - 4/5 MUST TRY Watermelon Hooka KitKat shake Peanut butter shake Maggi

New Cafe in town! This place is best suitable for people who smoke hookah and love to eat at the same time, however since this Cafe is on the 4th floor you would enjoy the view and sip your coffee/mocktail with a nice gentle breeze since they have an outdoor seating. The service is quick and staff are kind. Not to forget that this place serves only Vegetarian food! I wish they serve Non veg too since I’m a hardcore non veg. I love their shakes and the best was the peanut butter shake and it taste so good, the ice latte is amazing and they have variety of options. I also do like their walnut salad, pineapple chilli paneer was delicious, the fruit salad presentation was amazing. The cheese stuff with mushroom was decent too. I’m coming back for the peanut butter shake!

A new hukkah place in kormangla which is rooftop has come right next to sony signal. This place has a theme of cartoons from the 90s it will make you remind your childhood. Johnys cafe has basically a big posture of cartoon called johny bravo. The staff is really good and ambiance is also cool. Coming to the food mushroom manchurian was nice, cheesey nachos were good too. White sauce pasta was ok i found it little bland. They have just awesome shakes ferrero rocher and kitkat shake both were awesome . Also cranberry mojito was good. Hukkah is mind blowing at this place I really like the paan flavoured hukkah and they have something new watermelon hukkah which has a very nice presentation served inside a watermelon. Another new cafe with a unique theme located amidst kormanagla. Uncle johnny - older version of johnny bravo haha, The whole cafe gives a 90s vibe which I love Right now there's IPL screening too. The milkshakes are a must , made to perfection Kitkat shake ,peanut butter shake , brownie milkshake. Also the cranberry mojito is also good. The food tasted delicious especially the paneer it was so tender and soft melted right away in the mouth. Known for their nachos really good. The pizza isn't the best - the base was Abit doughy ,just change the base everything will be fine White sauce pasta tasted really good Cheese Maggie also a 5/5 The cafe is a vegetarian cafe with hookah What more do you need? Theres a new watermelon base hookah which was yummm ,loved it. Prices are very reasonable and the quantity is good as well. Would love to visit again . Totally recommend it.

Koramangala hookah cafes have got a new addition with this amazing rooftop cafe with both indoor and outdoor sitting. The place has got a 90s cartoon characters theme decor. The staff is humble and friendly. Watermelon flavoured hookah is one of their specials. The presentation is top notch using watermelon outer covering as the base and heart shaped cut watermelon piece which you can look at mesmerisingly or eat it straight if you are hungry! We tried mint paan flavour, which was again refreshing and good. Cheese nachos were perfect here for me being a person in love with tomato salsa. Veg platters will be definitely my suggestions here. They give you 4 varieties in a platter and then you can order what you enjoyed the most. We had pineapple Manchurian, paneer chilly , tomato salsa brushetta and cheese balls. Jalepano Cheese balls were delicious and we ordered more of it later. White sauce pasta is pretty decent as I found it a bit bland. In beverages, kit kat shake was really delicious. It became my dessert of the day. Cranberry mojito is also good but don't forget to tell them to put less sugar in it.

Had been to Uncle Johnny cafe on a Friday night. Nice cartoonic ambiance with rooftop. Pretty little things and cute quotes placed in the shelves of the cafe will melt your heart. Awesome music. Friendly staff. Tried watermelon hookah which has watermelon base and pan flavour. Sit in the rooftop and chill with hookah. Hookah is good and you can feel the buzz in just two drags. Imagine! Would recommend hookah to anyone here. Coming to Food, tried banana chilly, pineapple Paneer chilly, Walnut apple salad, cold coffee, jalapeño mushroom balls. Liked everything. Banana chilly was the best. Since I am a coffee addict, I loved strong cold coffee. Would definitely visit again.

The place is a good chill out spot. We risked it by ordering proper North Indian food here for dinner, and to our surprise the food served came out to be amazingly delicious. Loved their preparation, and the best part were the thin and crisp phulka(s). Ambience wise the place looked okay-ish. Gopal at the place served us very well, and will surely recommend people to visit. Had ordered Kadhai Paneer, Dal Fry, Phulka, Fresh Lime Soda and Green Apple Mojito.

Good ambience and the view outside is amazing. Lot of places to take amazing pictures. Board games in the cafe are a plus point although they are very less, we had fun. We ordered the panner tikka pizza and fries which was good. Providing plates with the pizza would be very helpful
