Review Shakuntlam Midway Resort Restaurant - Bharatpur

Overall good experience, liked the room we stayed in, food, the campus and generally helpful staff. The bird sanctuary is close enough. The pool was clean. However the restaurant was under staffed and made us wait nearly an hour for dinner, when they'd already decided the menu and prepared the food! We may go back again, though.

It's a nice hotel. The new wing is much better. It's called Laxmi Niwas but it's the same hotel same location etc. The new wing is built in old style as well but it has modern fittings and better floor, bathrooms etc. The dining area is in new wing as well. Overall it's a good hotel. Room service needs improvement.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of greenery and open spaces. The staff is responsive and helpful. The food is also good although limited in variety. They also have a pool which is well maintained. The room are very spacious but the air conditioning needs to be better. We had initially booked a royal suite but had to switch to a smaller room as the AC wasn't able to properly cool the room. The smaller room had better AC but it also wasn't fully satisfactory.

Nice heritage hotel, well maintained, neat and clean.vary spacious rooms and suites. Food was good, quality and variety of dessert has scope of improvement. Overall very hotel, courteous staff, hats off to the owners.

Extremely convenient to visit Kewala Dev (Keoladeo) bird sanctuary

We were there for Destination Wedding in December 2021. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful heritage property, nicely renovated but still has old world charm. Would recommend anyone going to Bharatpur to stay here.

S the name suggests a palace for sure, room size is BIG and well made ,every room has a different theme. the food is simple and good. All n all a good place They need to be more service oriented.They did not provide room serive inspite of confirmation with a lame excuse that they were busy and cannot provide room service and buffet has to be opted .I got a feeler tgat they dont care much about you,just pay and leave

Very beautiful heritage, modernised hotel. Gardens are a treat to watch. Beautifully manicured with blooming flowers and plants. The spaciousness is a plus. However a touch up on some places is needed. Peeling paint outside may be taken care as now the rains are over.

Beautiful property that has to be seen to be believed.. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. The building does need some attention, especially the restrooms, but it is an old building.

Well great property. Each room had a different ambiance as it was a old fort converted into a hotel. Our destination wedding was a success here.
