I recently visited saffron restaurant and I had a wonderful experience. I went with my family and we ordered (kebab and Dahi puri). I would like to mention that the restaurant is perfect for family gathering. And the food which is quite delicious and authentic, doesn't a cost bomb. The place is surely worthy. Poor management.... food is good... but their management is rediculous. For their BBQ after main course they forgot to serve desserts. It was so annoying that after receiving bill we had to ask for desserts. Pathetic service. Must know how to attend customers respectfully. Cherry on the top owner was present.... supervising there... still such mistake was made by staff. My whole evening was spoilled.

Saffron & Sankalp both are top class Restaurant chain, good to have them in Bhopal. Now coming to the Food, I had this "Unlimited Barbeque" it was Fresh and delicious from starters to the main meal every delicacy were toothsome.<br/>PANEER TIKKA reason for me to opt for this unlimited Barbeque were Damn good and a Bliss. wrong food received

We tired their barbeque buffet last night. One of the very few places where BBQ is purely vegetarian. They start with soup and salad. Serve u 3 snacks - Manchurian and 2 BBQ - mostly paneer Tikka and a aloo dish. Post that they serve jeera aalo, paneer butter masala, mixed veg , daal fry and multiple options for roti and 2 options for rice along with raita. The tatse is amazing and one must definitely try it out. Brownie with vanilla ice cream is for sweetdish. Deducting one star coz it's too cluttered .

If wating time is 45 min.. please tell us it's gonna take 30-45 mins and not 10-15 and let us decide .<br/>I can understand service can be affected because of rush .. but can't understand u guys gave us 4 seat table for 6 people group .. I mean common after waiting for more than 45 mins and that's how u treat customer . Later changing seat took another 20 mins . What to say about service .. everything we had to order at least 3 times including water .. service was so bad that we lost all the appetite .. Complete waste of money .. I am afraid can't even think of going back again ..

worst place in bhopal. there are a bunch of better options. don't ever go there if you don't want to ruin your day. first of all the waiting time, they will tell you to wait for 5 minutes if the actual waiting time is 15 minutes and 15 minutes if the actual waiting time is 40 minutes. they just want to run their business no matter what. small things like customer service for them doesn't matter. now talk about the food. even a roadside food corner can provide you with better food. simple waste of money.

Much heard about a normal lunch time over here I just went on a lazy weekend for their unlimited thali. To be honest not very great. N not very bad. But I'm sure to find much better options in this category. I can vouch on that ! The restaurant service people had poor comprehension. Nice place with good ambience and very cooperative staff. It being pure veg is an added attraction for vegetarians. Its 'cheese naan' is absolutely delicious and must try! Before one month I been here with friends and see here every seat was comfortable and my friend was ordering a tomato soup and hot & sour soup tomato soup was good and I order here femouse paneer tikka along with main course good ambiance but a little problem in service otherwise was too good

I have been to Saffron twice. One at the time of lunch and second time on a weekend to rejuvenate my hungry soul. After too much of promotions in newspapers this name clicked in my mind and i went there... ended up thinking "???" WHY i am here !!! This place is for people hungry and are having sumptous money to spent. Food here is ok. Not value for money. If you have palettes for aroma and thirst for taste. Though concept is new to Bhopal, but taste??? You may check some other options...

Visited here a couple of months ago....new restaurant heard about the buffet...we went for the unlimited buffet option. The starters were ok not too good....liked the veg kebab. The main course tasted good with a sabzi,daal, roti of choice and raita.<br/>Though was disappointed that the dessert which was brownie with icecream was only served once..and we were asked to pay for more even though it was an unlimited buffet!!! Apart from that good experience and service.

The best place I've visited thus far in Bhopal. Truly mesmerizing service. I would have rated it a four for its service only. The food is five star rating to me but the menu was a bit overpriced at some points. Deducting this half star for the menu only. Amazing Tandoori Sizzler they had, also beautiful barbeque served right on to the table. The paneer Balti was a treat to have. They kept us indulge in something or the other with their synchronized service. A must visit and truly deserves much more visits.

After amazing experience of Sankalp on the next day went to saffron which is owned by same Sankalp group of companies .. it was an yummilicous and mind blowing experience. When this restaurant was newly opened. Many of the vegetarians praised about this including me. But being there after a long time to this restaurant. I get to know it's completely lost in touch.<br/>Starting from the serving water in those old colourful glass bottles where I see some food particles were moving around. Later when waiter served those plates and katoris. It totally signifies how poorly it has been maganed now. Yellowish stains were embedded in katoris, my plate was a bit borken from the side.<br/>Now focus on the food. I ordered Dal Bukhara, Veg Jaipuri as suggested by waiter to try. In breads I asked for Pudina Paratha and Missi Roti.<br/>Dal bukhara was as usual the same like before. Veg Jaipuri was truly shameful. It was poorly tasteless blend mix veg decorated with regular urad paper. I tried to hard to eat that but even some dhaba's mix veg tates much better.<br/>My pudina paratha was so ridiculous. It was some sprinkled pudina or maybe methi powder that doesn't even taste and falvour of pudeena at all. Tried to cover up with a lots of desi ghee to it.<br/>Overall I don't think I will ever visit such place that is tasteless and hygienically disgrace. Later I wasted my food on the table and went to other place after paying the bill. The manager was asking about the food in formality and after telling him, he doesn't even say a single word like they don't care. Like, seriously? God bless this restaurant.

Poor. The experience was bad one. We tried the live barbeque option. The service is poor and slow. The dishes are just kept on your tablem there is no one to serve. The waiters leave the table un-attended for long durations until one goes calls them. The ambience looks good. But there is no proper ventilation in the barbeque space. The table adjacent to ours ordered sizzler and the entire room was filled with smoke and it was suffocating. No ventilation. Give it a miss if your planning with family having more than 5 members.

Saffron is north Indian restaurant of a famous South Indian cuisine restro chain Sankalp. Though it is unnecessary to review such restaurants which are run by company's policy, Good food though. But kitchen needs to be more silent. I could hear every word in the dining area. Good ambiance. Good Service.

Saffron is part of much famous Sankalp and it's entrance is also from Sankalp only. Saffron specialises in North Indian cuisines. We had great experience in Sankalp and didn't expect anything less from Saffron. <br/>We first ordered sweet corn soup and this probably was amongst the most delicious soups we had in town. Then we ordered Dal Bhukara and Paneer Balti. Both were recommend by the chef of the restaurant. The dishes were less spicy as we had requested and were flavourful. They weren't really outstanding (Sankalp's South Indian is outstanding) but served the purpose of being well cooked North Indian cuisine. This stands on par with the likes of Swaad in town. Price for two was around Rs. 800.

A visit to home town means trying out new places.. This time it was Saffron.. Located at the busy street of MP nagar.. Consider yourself lucky if you can get the parking nearby.. <br/>So this restaurant is actually a chain of restaurants located in various cities around the country.. And that implies that they will have good menu and services.. Rightly so.. We ordered paneer balti, cheese chill garlic kulcha, butter nan and jeera rice.. Paneer was good.. The quantity i thought was a bit scarce even for two people.. Butter nan was soft and nice.. Cheese chili garlic kulcha stole the show for me.. It was the best cheese chilli kulcha I've ever had.. Filled with cheese, super soft and yumm.. <br/>Ambience was nice, service was good also.. Pricing, many people might find this a touch expensive.. This is the worst restaurant i have ever come across. The buffet quality is shit. These people have no sense of hospitality. When i asked the management about their poor service and worst food quality, they ignored me and sent me my cheque. That was the worst level someone could drool to, i cant even imagine. Someone who has not cooked before, can cook better than these people. Shut down this restaurant for sake of people. <br/>

Had lunch here on Monday.. Only three tables were occupied.. So it was the way i like no waiting less crowded.. Nice Ambiance. <br/>Coming to the food..we ordered unlimited non barbeque lunch @ ₹215.. Had choice of soup b/w Tomatoe and hot n sour.. Tomatoe soup was avg so was hot and sour. . Got dry Manchurian in starters it was yummy.. Roasted papad and salad..in main course kadhai paneer, mix veg and dal takda..roti nan paratha and jeera rice.. Tasted like ghar ka khana.. Yummy it was and vanilla ice cream in dessert.. Overall had a great experience.. Would like to visit again. They also serve barbeque unlimited lunch @₹260 on weekdays.. Weekends and holidays price is different.

Visited twice. It's not expensive and the place is nice. The menu options are large and the barbeque is best and a must for every visiting person. The only downside is their main course which is average in my opinion you don't get that savory taste at least in my case. I'll recommend highly not to go for unlimited if you don't want barbeque. I did try the sizzler and it was 9.5/10

I went here for my B'day party with family. It is a very hyped place, having branches in various cities across India. But, Nope. Not worth it. Too much over-priced considering the taste of the food. <br/>The ambiance is great, the interior is nice, even the food they served looked really pretty! But the taste of food was mediocre, it was just fine. I've had way better, way tastier food in a smaller, less hyped place than this. <br/><br/>

I had visited Sankalp on friday and today (sunday) i visited Saffron with my family. It is a Pure Veg Barbecue Restaurant. Watery it was not at all thick and amazing gravy.<br/>And a single serving of vanila with brownie..how about having a warm brownie and little chocolate sauce with cold ice cream. Why not....<br/>Instead of soup or rather with soup how about a welcome drink like something jeera based. Or any fruit punch. The ambience is good, peaceful place. Food is also good, cheese naan should be tried for sure. The food tastes great whereas Buffet is a different scene altogether. I had buffet with live barbeque, not very good. Apart from Paneer tikka in starters, the other 2 were below average. Also, the main course was not tasty, the quantity they served was great but the taste was average. Buffet not recommended at all.

A reasonable place. If you don't order a multiple course meal, its around 250 to 300 per head, though they only serve is veg food, but it's quite tasty. Ambience is pretty good, a calm composed place to enjoy your meal. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Going there would be a good decision.

Though when it comes to eating out, I rarely prefer an all veg resturant. But this veg barbecue somehow attracted me today.<br/>That had a decent assortment or soups, papad, fried and barbecue starters, backed veg, 3 main course along with dal and choice of breads.<br/>As we were quite full by this time, so we skipped jeera rice and veg biryani and directly moved to the best part - the desert "Brownie with vanilla ice cream" (plus on request free chocolate sauce)<br/>Though the fried noodles in manchow soup was not that crispy, a 4.5 rating for overall taste, variety, ambience, staff, price and that additional chocolate sauce on demand. 🙂<br/>

So i went to this place today. Located in mp nagar zone 2 this is according to me the best veg restaurant there. The interiors are very good and i like the organization of tables and the way they have inserted the live barbecue thing which is reminiscent of kebabsville and of barbecue nation. Moving on to the food we orderd masala paapad, tandoori special sizzler, panneer musallam, diwani handi, dal tadka and naan. All the things were brilliant taste wise. The only negative point i would say was the service. It took them a lot of time to serve naans to us. So i would request them to kindly improve on that front. Rest they are going good and i hope they remain consistent in serving good food and providing good ambience coz they have the potential to be the best veg restaurant of the city for sure.

The restaurant is a bit cosy and head space is not much. On Sundays the vicinity market is closed and there's plenty space to park that too with parking assistance. Downstairs is the South Indian section. There's a small barbecue typically arranged on the table. But putting the dishes as well as serving bowls make it clumsy. Limited options at barbecue. 2 veg snacks( paneer and mushroom) regular main course( dal two vegetable prep, roti jeera rice and icecream) costs you 315/ head plus takes rounded up to 860 for two. The service is mega quick, not a single sec one remains unattended. The food tastes just like anyother non dedicated restaurants. But cheap on pocket considering barbecue experience.

This restaurant was a surprise find. We've decided to go to Naturals for ice cream but some how we ended here. The decor is good. Service is also fast and efficient. We ordered the Gobhi lehsuni and Paneer malai tikka as starters. They were served over a barbecue grill on the table, a la barbeque nation. Gobhi was excellent, easily the dish of the Day. Paneer was also succulent. For main course we had the Sweet corn soup, tomato soup, Paneer Handi, navratn korma and missi rotis. Main course was ok in taste, nothing special to write about. But I'll recommend this restaurant for its tandoori dishes.

Heard a lot about Saffron from friends & family, but visited yesterday, Let me tell you that this is one of the best Vegetarian Restaurant I have ever been to.<br/><br/>Moreover it is a barbecue Restaurant that to Pure Veg.<br/>Amazing Food and super fast service, staff is very polite , excellent ambiance and they have unlimited package combos which is true value for money and can't get this quality at this price<br/><br/>Overall amazing experience.

Writing this review while still eating at the place.. To start with ambience it is lovely,on the ground floor is the sankalp and on upper floor it is saffron.<br/>I ordered the lunch offer, the barbeque paneer was delicious, thr soup was upto the mark. Paneer sabzi tasted best, the other one was ok ok. Daal was also tasty.. Overall experience 4.5/5 .. <br/>Will surely visit again..

To start with i m amazed how this restaurant has 4.0 rating here but then i realize they have got just 77 votes or something so i blv most of them r fake.<br/><br/>this restaurant is a big waste of your money and time. bhopal a city where the food is such a craze restaurant like these are a big fail.<br/><br/>food: dont remember if i ever had any food as worst as what i had it here today!! total disaster and to top these people dont even knows what a kebab is like. i ordered cheese paneer kebab which was basically paneer malai tikka on which they had sprinkled some cheese and cherries. achari paneer tikka was an even greater disaster.. and when they cant prepare these basic things it was my foolishness to order au gratin. so  basically the only thing i found good there was the green chatni and the sauf they gave at the end.<br/>service: no they are not good their as well. the waiter had no serving manner and it was very slow.. it took them 10 mins to understand that we will need cutlery to eat food.<br/>ambiance: not that great it was a congested arrangement.<br/><br/>nd ooh i almost forgot the worst thing- soup. knorr or Maggie soup r way better then what they have!!<br/><br/>i wont suggest anyone to wast their money here!!

My my wat good food ambience warm environment and quick service. I went here on my b'day i ordered kadhai paneer,paneer chatpata and paneer tiranga dry in barbeque and it was really really tasty home like food the staff was also amazing. The tandoori rotis wer drenching in butter how i lik them to be but my females frnds didnt liked tht :p.<br/>Overall saffron made my b'day more amazing because good food makes us more happy. Must visit!! i thought my order will be above 1000 bucks but it went well under 1000 bucks for 4 people. Had a great tym there :)

Best veg restaurant i visited in bhopal. The service is super fast and the popularity of this place amongst the local is appreciable. I had dinner there.Every food item was tasty i would suggest everyone to go Saffron atleast once. Loved it.

So this was the 2nd time that I visited Saffron. First time mistakenly me and my friend thought they served non veg too, as we were not in veggie mood, we simply left.<br/>Well today it was entirely different. I went with my family and we ordered for the barbecue.<br/>The service was quick. It took exactly 60 minutes for us to place the order and pay the bill. And in those 60 minutes, the place was flooded with crowd!<br/>The staff was attentive and was serving well.<br/>The food, i liked the hot n sour soup the barbecue snacks. However, I did not like sunhere aloo. They were a bit weird to my taste. In the main course, all was fine. Paneer butter masala was pretty good.<br/>Still there is scope for improvement in flavouring.<br/>For all the vegetarians who had complaints about kebabsville, this is the place for you guys!<br/>Barbecue dinner at 350!<br/>And for all the non vegetarians, head to kebabsville guys, it's a vegetarian restaurant! All my stars only for the ambience and service. The food was tasteless. There definitely was a huge queue of people waiting outside to have an experience of live barbecue but I'm quite sure they were first timers like me and my friends because once you have tasted all that they had to offer..you would decide then and there to never return.<br/>Allright..so we ordered unlimited dinner @ Rs 350 + taxes per person. It included a tasteless soup (I ordered the very basic tomato soup and it had no flavour) and hara bhara kebab in starter which was very ordinary. In starters they also brought the "live barbecue" which actually had two already cooked tikkas (nothing but underseasoned potatoes and paneer with some mustard sauce...again tasteless) and placed it on the table. As I told..they were already cooked as well as cold. We were disappointed.<br/>I thought may be this is the first time BBQ experience thats the reason for my dislike and was eagerly waiting for the main course. They serve any bread of your choice with 2 sabzis, dal and rice. Out if all these.. I could only eat the butter nan and dal. I literally hated both the sabzis. There was no flavour at all. I dont remember there long names and the names are not in the menu.<br/>They also serve roasted papad and one salad. In the dessert..they served vanilla icecream with chocolate sauce.<br/>I had this water dripping on my clothes from the ac. They need to fix that. :D<br/>I really wish they had tasty food because they have this wonderful interiors and live BBQ facility..I wonder why they ain't making good use of it cz the first timers wont last long and then they'll need good taste to hold their customers. :)

Finally the wait for Bhopalees is over.. One of the best North Indian restrau is eventually opened in Bhopal. Awesome ambience, delicious food, nice service. The ultimate place to hangout with friends or family.. Very lovely locality at the heart of Bhopal i.e. M.P.Nagar. A must visit place for foodies.
