Mainland China in Bhubaneswar is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm ambiance and attentive service. The restaurant's elegant decor and comfortable seating create a perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food – it's simply outstanding! The menu offers a wide array of authentic Chinese dishes, and each one I tried was a burst of flavors. Whether you're a fan of classic favorites like Dim Sum or seeking something adventurous like Sichuan cuisine, Mainland China has it all, and they excel in each preparation. The ingredients used in their dishes are undoubtedly fresh and of the highest quality, making every bite a mouthwatering delight. The skillful chefs here have an incredible talent for balancing flavors, resulting in an unforgettable culinary journey. The staff deserves special mention, as they are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also eager to help with recommendations based on individual preferences. Their hospitality and attentiveness made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Mainland China in Bhubaneswar is a top-notch restaurant that truly captures the essence of Chinese cuisine. It's a must-visit for food enthusiasts and those looking to savor authentic flavors in a delightful setting. I can't wait to return and indulge in their culinary delights once more!

If you want authentic Chinese dishes do try this place. Its has great taste, ambience and service. Its a bit expensive though but the quality is good. You won't get any Indian dishes so be prepared for it.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Bhubaneswar. Serves excellent and clasic Chinese dishes though a little bit pricey. The buffet menu is reasonable.

Ohhh.. Speciality Restaurant... Surprised me. Positively so much.... I am visiting again... On 13th..yummy food, awesome ambience, spacious, well behaved staff, who are not pushy like barbeque nation, give guests space.... Nice fragrance spic span, no loud music, no over populated guests.. I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic restaurant that specializes in Chinese cuisine, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance was sophisticated yet comfortable, setting the perfect tone for a memorable evening. What truly stood out was the food – each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The menu boasted a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes, from traditional dim sum to flavorful stir-fries and aromatic soups. Every bite was a burst of flavors, showcasing the skill and expertise of the chefs. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were expertly seasoned, striking a perfect balance of spices and textures. In addition to the delectable food, the restaurant offered an impressive selection of drinks. The cocktail menu was creative, featuring unique blends that perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the Chinese cuisine. The wine list was extensive, offering a great range of options to suit different preferences. The staff at the restaurant was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. They were more than willing to provide recommendations and ensure that our dining experience was flawless. The service was prompt, and our glasses were never empty. Overall, this restaurant not only excelled in delivering outstanding Chinese cuisine but also created a delightful atmosphere for its patrons. Whether you're a fan of traditional Chinese dishes or looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return soon, making it a top choice for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

The new menu is so innovative and tastes better than ever before! The ambience looks great after their renovations. Definitely eat the Blue pea and edamame Jasmine sticky rice, and of course, my all time favourite - the Crackling Spinach!

Really enjoyed the unique food options!! Ginger Crispy chicken was yummm!! Veg California roll(sushi), noodles with curry items are good. Dimsum could have been better. Kimchi and pickle salad were a great addition. Great place to hang out.

Food was little expensive though food was okay. I loved it's lung fung soup with egg whites. Tried crab for the first time and I liked it.

Food was good. Nice atmosphere and nice staff behaviour. Need to put a engaged sign on the washrooms so that some idiots won't break the lock of the washroom door.

Food is okayish, ordered Drums of Heaven on which the chicken was rock solid, we asked them to change it but 2nd plate was also the same (Rock Solid Chicken), except that we ordered : Hot & Sour Soup, Crab Meat Soup, Eight Treasure Soup (Prawn), Chicken & Dumplings dipped in Soy Sauce, Egg Fried Rice & Chicken Chilly which were really good! Service and staff were really kind, professional and helpful. They even offered us complementary Ice Cream with Sweet Almond Fillets as dessert.
Monalisa Badaik
We tried the noodles , spring rolls and dimsums. There are buffet options available too. We loved the food there. Worth visiting.

Not good not bad... Average and very costly

We visited mainland China for a family lunch and we went for the buffet option instead of ala carte. The chicken dim sums were superb and the chicken manchow soup was too good. The regular starters like chilly chicken , Basa fish starters were good, main course was average and the dessert spread is less. I would say it’s little on the higher side on the price for the food served but they cover it up with awesome and prompt service. I would like to visit again but try ala carte next time.

Always pleased with the food and service. An awesome place for Chinese food lovers. Food is freshly made there. never once have I had to complain about anything. People are good. Love it and recommended it.

Had been here for the special Christmas buffet lunch! Amazing ambience, prompt service and finger-licking food! The buffet consisted of all my favourites- chicken, lamb, prawns, fish, crab and french fries!!!❤️ What a place to be at for grabbing sumptuous meals! Having tried both the Mumbai and Bhubaneswar chains, the taste and service remain consistent! Looking forward to visiting again!❤️✨

The place was ok .. not too good or bad .. definitely doesn’t deserve to be so hyped . Food was ok again .. not too good .. the staffs were to themselves.. we had to call them to take the order or to serve . The price was overrated..Overall not that bad experience but I’m not going there again .

I loved all the dishes of mainland china in both bbsr and hyd chains. The best thing about it is u don't find any change their taste. I loved the soups and starters.

A perfect ambience to enjoy the evening with your family or friends. Vegetarians will get a bit less satisfied, but a pure bliss for non-vegetarians.

I went for a buffet here with 15 other people. They had arranged two tables for us. Ambience was serene and well lit. In starter dry fish tikka and fish wontons were the best. Loved the authentic straw pot steed momos with various dips.

In main course fried rice, noodles, chicken, prawn and crab items were great. Wish crab dish was a little bit spicier. I didn't not like the lamb dish. Maybe it's the gravy or the meat marination.

In dessert curd pudding with almond, chocolate pudding, darsan with honey, darsan with coconut filling, strawberry icecream, pastries were there. Not a lot to choose from.

Still had a great time.

Is there a more soothing word than 'BUFFET'?
Mainland China, didn't disappoint at all.

Went here today, and had the non-veg buffet, which costs 999 including tax
The buffet includes the below

1) Veg and non-veg soup

2) 7 different starters - veg and non-veg dumplings, fish fry, chilly chicken dry,veg and non-veg wontons, French fries -liked everything except the fries, too soggy

3) Mixed fried rice, haka noodles, chicken dish, lamb dish, prawn dish, crab in the non veg section

4) Veg Schezwan Fried rice, haka noodles, 4 Veg dishes

5) 6-7 types of dessert, of which i loved the hot darshan, almond curd cubes and coconut wontons (never tried before but tasty)

Everything seemed great, few dishes like lamb, French fries, wontons were tasty but not as good as I expected.

My rating - 4.3/5

#Buffet #MainlandChina #Mainland #China #Authentic #Asian #GoBangali #TheKolkataBuzz #KhawaDawa #Khana #FoodBlog #Foodgasm #from_food_to_travels #Foodie #Foodpost #feelgood #FoodBloggers #FoodPorn #Food #goodvibes #lunch #Overdose #eat #eating #ContactForColab #BongFoodie #bong #Bhubaneswar #Blog #nomnom

1. Quality (Freshness, aptness) 1.5-1
2. Quantity 1-0.5
3. Behavior and management 1-0.5
4. Ambience 0.5-0.5
5. Overall impression 1-1

Here you don't really get the spicy taste that most of the Indians are fond of. Here you inch towards the proper chinese, may be.

Nonveg buffet was ₹999 including taxes.

Interior is very calm & soothing, but not really a chinese ambience.
Staffs are very well behaved but not absolutely mannered to the best.

You get free drinking water or you have to buy overpriced branded water. You get a complementary 200 ml of Pepsi/7up.

Alcohol is available, alongside energy drinks.

Chicken coriander soup to start with, was tasty.

In nonveg starter there were
Momos- Interior was too hard to be the perfect chinese momo, not up to the mark
Chicken- Spicy and Nice
Seafish- very tasty
Wonton- also not that striking

Main course filled the heart with variety
Chicken egg fried rice & noodles were there, okay in taste
Chicken, Lamb, Prawn, Crab was there. This variety will hit the value for money, mostly.
All of them were very nice except the chicken.
Names doesn't really matter, hence not mentioned

3 types of veg & 1 type of nonveg chinese salad was there.

Dessert there were Caramel pudding,Mango pudding, pastry( with some other name), coconut crunchy, watermelon. This section could have more varieties.

At last you get a complementary ice cream of your choice

From nonveg buffet you can try veg items, which are absolutely Chinese.

Very few items were adequately warm. Some parts of the Menu could have more varieties & few dishes could have been tastier. But overall it was nice experience as chicken, seafish, prawn, crab, lamb are rarely available under one shed in a decent taste in Bhubaneswar.

Recommendation: Non-veg buffet
Trideep Barik
Friendly and Adorable service. I tried Cantonese rice noodles(very thin noodles) with eight treasure soup (combination of 8 ingredients and prawn and fish) and a chicken dish. Taste was good but could have been better.

This is one of my favourite place to have best dimsums or momos. It's a fine dine with good hospitable staffs and service. The ambience is also nice. Price is on a higher end though.

Actually the ones who are uploading photoes, we want them to add up the name of the dish too. Orelse ho we will choose them when we want to have it. But it was nice having a full meal. Lunch with very tasty chinese cuisine.

Food is OK. It’s unfortunate though, the staff seems absolutely cold and unresponsive. They fail in all aspects in delivering especially when the restaurant is more than half full!

Good place to have Chinese food. Overly priced but the taste of the food are amazing. Crackling spinach is awesome. But it is not always available. And best thing to have in dessert is chocolate hot spring rolls.

How about some high quality and exceptionally delicious dumplings? Mainland China is the place.
They are also know for their lunch buffet which is equally good.
We're glad they have maintained the quality. This is our go-to for Chinese cuisine unless budget is not an issue 😅

Love the food here. The price point is somewhere between Mayfair ( Lemongrass) and the mid range Chinese restaurants in Bhubaneswar. Good ambiance and service. Portion sizes are great. Definitely one of the authentic places to have Chinese.
Samyak (hogallucan)
This was my second visit to the place and the experience was awesome. A fine dining setup with Chinese wall hangings to offer a likewise ambience and comfortable seating options, this restaurant is located at The Crown Hotel, in Nayapalli.
▫️▫️▫️▫️
Being a group of four, we ordered Crackling spinach and prawns hargao dumplings for starters.
🔸Crackling Spinach - Crispy and yummy spinach crumbs were quite delectable.
🔸Prawns Hargao - The dumpling skin was really thin and the stuffing was amazing. It had a delightful taste.
▫️▫️▫️▫️
From the mains, we went for Chicken in Black pepper sauce, Chicken Lemongrass fried rice, Stir fry noodles changsha style and sliced fish cooked in chilli garlic sauce.
🔸The chicken came in shredded pieces and nicely cooked but the taste could have been better.
🔸The fried rice was quite yum and had a slight tinge of the lemongrass which I loved.
🔸The noodles had toban sauce with medium spicy flavours.
🔸Fish was absolutely relishing with the right flavours and superb taste.
▫️▫️▫️▫️
Service is prompt and the staff is polite and courteous. Pricing is bit on the higher end. Otherwise, a truly fine dining space for a wonderful experience with friends and family.

We planned to load ourselves with some soups and starters only.

Veg Manchow- 4/5
Eight Treasure Soup Non Veg- 4/5
Veg Dumplings- 2.5/5
Spring Roll- 3.5/5
Chicken Ginger -

Overall Service- 3/5
Food 3/5
Quantity 4/5

Starters were very oily and should have been dry. Have been to other Mainland China around India (Mumbai, Pune, Banglore, Kolkata) but this visit disappointed us. May be a bad day.

End was good as we were savoured with some special ginger mouth fresher and we loved it.

One of the best places to visit if you are looking for authentic chinese cuisines..The staff here are pretty courteous and prompt in service..

We ordered a chicken manchow soup and prawn in hunan sauce for starters which were delicious..Especially the prawn was too good to taste..Then we had egg chicken hakka noodles and green chilli chicken for the main course..both of which tasted pretty good as well..Highly recommended if you are looking for some good chinese dishes...

The price might seem to be on the higher side but the taste makes up for it..

Prawn in hunan sauce- 5/5
Manchow Soup- 4/5
Green chilli chicken- 4.5/5
Egg chicken chowmein- 4/5
I don't really like Chinese Cuisine and wasn't even planning to eat anything apart from the dessert. But I've to admit, this place serves the best Chinese food in Bhubaneswar. Also having been a Korean Drama addict, I was really thrilled to see that they served us Kimchi.
Thumbs up Guys.
I would surely visit again.

Disappointed... The food did not seem very fresh. The taste was pretty mediocre. The staff seemed least bothered but were more interested in getting rid of customers. Terrible experience.

Honestly it is very good Chinese restaurant yeah space is so limited but it's a family cum restaurant. Ambience is like Chinese theme. And the restaurant has situated in very good place just back to the crown hotel actual it's part of crown hotel. alcohol is also available 😊.

The best place to take Chinese food in Bhubaneswar or in Odisha. The food quality is excellent and specially the taste of non veg food prepared here is really awesome. You can definitely try it sometimes.

The ambience and the food is awesome. The courteous waiters need a mention too. Lamb preparation is delicious. Also do try the haka noodles.

Good ambience and good Chinese food. The subtlety of a good Chinese cuisine is aptly captured. The lunch buffet is good and measured. Have been there quite a few times. Last time tried the Caramel Custard; quite a revelation!

The Name is enough. But with the competitive market of food chain I would rate this bit low just because the prices are over the horizon & taste is not that great tbh! Service is weak but the Ambience is wow !

Nice ambience like their other branches
The boys did an amazing job. They suggest the right dishes to you ! They provide the right tips on how to match the starter, main course and noodles or rice. We ordered Hunan chicken and soya sauce pan fried veg noodles. Chicken starter was splendid. The noodles had a good amount of veggies - mushroom, zucchinis, springs, to name a few.
The ambience with the mild relaxing music in the background created the perfect mood to enjoy the food. Keep up the good job, guys !

I had visited the place assuming that the food quality here in Bhuvneshwar will be the same as Kolkata.

Date of visit : 1-10-2018

I was the first customer they had this evening .

The staff is definitely under trained and are not aware if you ask them about the dish preparation.

Had ordered corn and water chestnuts dumpling which was pathetic. They had mixed pepper in d filling which was hurting in the throat and I’m asking the waiter to please check it. He bluntly says that “ 5 spices are always mixed in it” it was not at all worth eating.

The next dish I had ordered was wok tossed tofu Hunan style . The dish was full of oil and pretty bland.

Further there were no chopsticks kept on d table . Being a Chinese restaurant it is expected.
Moreover the napkins on d table are completely worn out and dirty which no one would like to use them.

I suggest mainland China to check up the quality here to avoid this spooling their reputation.

Really loveeeeee loveeeeee this place. One of the best Chinese restaurants in town. The Dimsums. The noodles. The fried rice. The chicken. The prawns. Yum yum ❤️❤️

It was just great to be in Mainland China. The food, ambience and service were just awesome. The best was the momos and the noodles. Hope to visit soon.

The taste was great. But when you say Buffet I expect a little more with the variety of dishes. Chinese food has always been my favourite and I always wanted to explore about it in different places. So in a gist, had a nice experience in mainland China but expected a better one.

All time favourite..would love to visit again and again. Taste is very good though on a bit costlier side.
Ambience: 4.5/5
Food: 4/5
Service: 5/5

Mainland China and their momos, dumplings hold a special place in my heart. I was craving for momos from a very long time. It was a girls night out and this is the first time I got a chance to tey their the À la carte menu. I always preferred the buffet menu due to obvious reasons. I can savor my favorites as much as I can. But believe me the à la carte menu also stood out to be yummylicious. We had the following for the dinner ::
Thai style chicken dumplings - I was floored with the first bite itself. The chicken filling was full of flavors.
Pan fried asian chilli fish - We opted for bhetki first. But since the price was way too high, we settled for basa. The fish was so flaky and was melting in the mouth.
Crispy chilli potatoes -. This one disappointed me a lot. The potatoes were not that crispy and it had raw taste of cornflour as well. It was a big let down.
Non veg singapore rice noodles - I always have a weakness for rice noodles and it had the perfect amount of scrambled eggs, chicken pieces and shredded veggies.
Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce - The dish had an awesome flavor of spicy and smoked chilli sauce incorporated with shredded chicken. It paired perfectly with the rice noodles.
Chocolate fudge brownie - This was a surprise from my end and without any doubt it scored the highest brownie points of all.
You realize you had a great supper when you experience the perfect amount of foodgasm along with a yummy tummy once you finish it, to cherish all the way back home.

The best Chinese restaurant in bhubaneswar. We ordered so many dishes . I must say all the dishes are mouth watering. Pan fried noodles, Hakka noodles, fish fried with sejewan sauce, prawn dragon medium spicy, veg with soya pepper sauce are our main course. Hot n sour soup, corn salt Nd peeper, smokey chicken, mushroom garlic are our starter and in desert chocolate brownies ♥️ Aswm taste with Aswm place 😍

Tried the chicken and stir fried mushroom siu mai here. Loved it. Also loved the chicken with basil and chilli, which was served in a cute little clay pot. 5/5 for presentation. Also tried the schezwan vegetable hot pot, which definitely was one of the best vegetarian oriental dish I've ever tried. The Singaporean rice noodles were however a disappointment. The soups and seafood here are decent. Dimsums are great. Great for a family dinner.

I loved this place... Awesome soup with authentic taste... Noodles are also tasty and i love there's dumplings..they are yummiest of all...😋

Mainland China offers you the best chinese buffet in bhubaneswar. Mayfair's 'Lemongrass' has the best chinese but they dont offer a buffet. So, head to @mainlandchina to have you fill of chinese food at the price of just 850 + Tax.
.
.
They had Chicken sweet corn soup, Chicken Suimui , Chicken Taipai , Fried fish with dry chillies, Fried seafood wontons, Chicken Hotpot (with Shiitake mushrooms)
Lamb with Chinese greens , Prawns in parsley sauce , Crab (forgot the name, there were so many 😓), Chicken hakka noodles , Egg Chicken fried rice and these number of veg dishes too but i tried none 😝.
.
.
.
Deserts mein Darshaan (Honey noodles), rainbow cake, Fruit cake , Coconut wontons , Butterscotch ice cream , Chocolate tings (white chocolate cubes with peanuts) , and fresh cut watermelon :)

Had an amazing time at Mainland China! We went for lunch (buffet) and the spread was scrumptious. Plenty of non veg and veg options. Really loved the authentic chinese sweet dish - Darsaan!

Had been here on a lunch date with my mom. The food was ok and limited options to choose from. Service was a bit late and the ambience was good. Had expected it to be better in terms of taste.
Shashank Patole
Very-close-to-the-best Oriental cuisine in town

Having fled from the visual-tackiness of Hookie-Dookie on a blistering Sunday afternoon, this place was a veritable utopia to us: from the unsnobbish-yet-svelte interior decor, to the eye-massaging colour scheme to the "Yanni Live at the Acropolis" cover-album playing softly in the background, this place throws in the fine in fine dining from the word go.

We opted for à la carte, foregoing the buffet, and the price difference wasn't so steep. The Prawn Siu Mai was positively ebullient with flavour, and the Lemongrass added a subtle-twang - very neat, very very satisfying. We made the mistake of getting the main course and the noodles both with chicken. However they may have tasted independantly, the Prawn dumpling was a very tough act to follow; the Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce and Wok-tossed chicken hakka noodles felt like very run-of-the-mill Chinese. Something you don't expect from Mainland.

A large part of why I'm sly-dumping on it is the inavailability of our 2 of our first choice dishes. While I am in complete understanding that not being able to prepare a dish on one particular day is quite acceptable, I would prefer if restaurants actually tell their customers why it is unavailable. Especially if they accept the order and come back from the kitchen with a message that they can't.

The reason, however, for my glowing title, is the dessert. I'm saying this now, and I'll say it again - I've never tasted a dessert as rapturous as their Steamed coconut dumplings in honey-butter sauce. The warmth of the coconut as the thinly-packed batter slices open is augmented surpassingly by the sauce, giving you a feeling - each time - that can only be described by eating.

My regards to the establishment for keeping the quality of the food the same for the past 4 years that I've been dining there. Keep up the good work.
Priyanka Hazary
Among just few of my favorite restaurants in Bhubaneswar, Mainland China is one of it and I always visit this place whenever I crave for Chinese food. The ambiance is quite good and I really appreciate the courteous behavior of the staff and their service. The staff make sure we get the food according to our taste buds and are flexible to make any changes to the dish and provide great suggestions as well.

Following are the dishes that I had ordered during my n no. of visits:

1. Prawn dumplings- 5/5 This one is my absolute favorite.

2. Chicken sweet corn soup- 4/5

3. Crab meat soup- 3/5 Because I was expecting more crab meat.

4. Drums of heaven in chilli plum sauce- 1.5/5 Because the chicken was very dry but the sauce was good.

5. Schezwan Basa fish- 5/5 A must try with veg fried rice

6. Keong's Ginger Chicken- 4/5

7. Lobster in Sichuan chilli sauce- 3.5/5

8. General Tao's Chicken- 4/5

9. Sizzling Brownie- 4/5 I would have given it 5/5 but during my last visit, the chocolate sauce was not enough.

10. Chocolate rolls- 1/5 Very disappointing as this dish was very dry.

11. Steamed coconut dumplings with honey butter sauce- 4.5/5 Though I'm not a big fan of coconut but this dessert was very delicious.

12. Chocolate dome- 4/5 This is one amazing dessert and an absolute delight for chocolate lovers. It had ice cream, mini brownies, popcorn and lot of other chocolate stuff which comes inside a chocolate dome and the hot chocolate sauce is poured over it. I didn't give this a perfect score because it was too sweet for my taste buds.

I am a chinese lover. So I had been to Mainland China. Had a beer with chicken dumpling n Chinese choupsey. The taste of the dumpling was wow. Chinese choupsey could have been better. Loved the ambience. Will definitely go next time to try other dishes.
One of the best chinese food in the city. I love going here. I can never pick my favourite as everytime I try something new and absolutely love it. One has to know what they should order. However once I ordered a mango pudding and the mango sauce or whatever that was given tasted like a soft drink Mazza... Didn't expect that actually.
And as of the ambience it is really good and gives authentic feel to the diners!!

If you are gourmet looking for Chinese food in Bhubaneswar, this is the best place you can be. The stellar combination of presentation of food and it's taste makes this place the best serving Chinese food in Bhubaneswar.
We ordered ,

Starters- Sichuan chicken smoked with chilli and peanut, Hunan prawn , spring rolls, and hot nd sour monchow soup.
Main course- monchow chicken noodles, sweet and sour sauce -garlic bhetki and fried rice.
Desserts- sizzling hot brownie with icecream and honey biscuits.

The starters ,like the prawn was exceptional, and the soup was very good. The chicken and the spring rolls were however a bit disappointing, the chicken was a bit over salty instead of being spicy and the spring rolls had a lot of cabbage in it, I mean I had a feel that the cabbage's taste was dominant in the spring roll.

The main course food was also good, the fish had the perfect taste as always and fried rice tasted pretty good. The noodles also tasted very good but somehow it was more oily.

I must admit that whatever we may eat ,your desserts always manages to make sure that our meals ended well. The crispy honey crisps was exceptional, it just melted in our mouth in one go. The sizzling brownie always happens to be the show stealer by looks as well às the taste. Really loved it!!

Pros- if you are wise in choosing the food from the menu then it's absolutely worth the money, Good and hot food , really prompt and well trained staff and very good presentation of food . Desserts are show stealer.

Cons- the Sichuan chicken was over salty and less spicy and the spring rolls had a lots of cabbage and seemed that it dominated the taste of spring rolls! The noodles were also oily.

Best place for Chinese cuisine. Ordered 8 treasure soup, teriyaki mushroom, Cantonese style panfried noodles, sizzling vegetables and sizzling brownie. Best enjoyed when we go with foodies or in a group as they serve every dish with huge quantity. We enjoyed all the dishes. The way they cook the vegetables is a magic as we could feel the liveliness of the vegetables. Will surely visit again.

Nice ambience the music is quite boring. They don't have much options in their buffet that to desserts were quite boring type. Anyways loved the ambience. No parking facilities 'park at your own risk' I mean seriously which restaurant would do that.. That was bit annoying. Its bit costlier felt like wasted money there rather would have gone to barbaque nation.

Went there on a team meet few days back.We opt for buffet. They don't have much options as you always expect to have have in a buffet plate. And how can you charge same price for veg and non veg plate.Well whatever I had in non veg buffet they were good. And the dessert part is also very limited for the price they charge.

The ambience was great and the service too. Must try sea food eight elemental soup. Basil flavoured dimsums/momos. The momos were wrapped with rice paper(unique in BBSR).
Noodles felt very authentic.
Great experience.

If you are a Chinese food lover, this is your place.
Also serves Jain food.

But had only one washroom.

Intro : It’s just beside hotel Crown at Nayapalli - Usual Mainland China Facade outside
Ambience inside is good - but an uplift is required- also the AC needs work

Food :

Crackling Spinach
Singapore Meifoon
Chicken in Sauce
Chicken Fried rice
Bhetki Chilli fish in Oyster
Cantonese Chicken Noodles with Vegetables

Crackling Spinach - This was superb - really crackling and crunchy 4/5

Singapore Chicken Rice Noodles -
Really well prepared - lovely flavour and taste - adequate amount of chicken 4/5

Chicken in Sauce -
Good one - the gravy tasted nice 4/5

Bhetki Chilli Fish
This was really superb - absolutely fresh fish - really well done - tasted awesome
4.5/5

Cantonese Noodles
Again really well done - lots of Chicken and vegetables - classic Cantonese preparation 4/5

Overall - Fantastic experience- superb food - 4.5/5

THE FOODIE🍔🍰
Service & ambience is good but it is meaningless without good food..
I had been there for a lunch buffet which was totally disappointing except 1 or 2 main course dishes.
It's not worth the money.
Rachita
Had been there with family, a year back. food is quite good, . Nice👌👌👌👌 amazingly typical chinese preparations_ kind of all chiken items are worth tasting 😍
But I really hated the 3 mushroom wala dish or something, I don't really remember the name , it was too typically chinese 😑😑😑😑😑
Ambience is great . So is the service👍👍👍
Akanksha Pattnaik
Definitely the best in town. Good food, good service, good ambience. What else does one need ? The starters, the main course and the desserts, everything is up to the mark. So it's a must try for all the Chinese lovers.

this is expensive and not worth yiur money. it is not as good as the Main land in other cities. the Ambience is not worth talking about. the food taste is very average ss well

We went for lunch... Buffet........ We felt... Its better to go for buffet as individual dishes were too pricey......
Starters were good..... Esp the prawn and fish were lip smacking..... We eat several pieces of those.... But to our disappointment the dimsums tasted stale like........ Chicken dragon was good though
Main course was just OK.....
Deserts section was nice..... That hot choco sauce boiling over the pot when poured over white vanilla ice cream..... Tasted like just heaven.......... Banana cake was good..... Cheesecake was awesome..... Just melted in the mouth.... Choco lips cookie cake was good too.....
Khimchi was one of the attraction..... Should really try it........

Food 0.5
Ambience 4
Service 3
But still I will give overall 1
I came for the buffet in the restaurant .... Thought of being a good authentic chinese but I was wrong ....The dishes were not up to the par I was thinking .....In buffet the several dishes while eating were having sense of high soda ....The momos or dimsums were hard....The chicken dish were salty ....I could not tolerate this thing ....Then goes the desert ....the caramel custard was too bad....the darsaan was good ...the normal vanilla with dark chocolate syrup made it more pathetic

We had Chicken With Assorted Peppers, Pan Fried Asian Chilli Fish, Wok Tossed Hakka Noodles as savoury options. Everything tasted YUM. Especially the chicken, crispy and amazing. For desserts we had Sizzling Brownie with Hot Chocolate Sauce and Hot Chocolate Rolls with Vanilla Ice Cream. Deserts were tasty. Mocktails were nice. Good experience. Caramel Custard wasn't available.

Today may be it was my 20 odd visit to mainland china bhubaneswar and 1st time I am writing a review. The best Chinese restaurant in the town. some may argue with that but if you compare with lemon grass service is far better in mainland China n price is very low compared to lemon grass n taste wise both are pretty similar. Their Lobster is just amazing. I go there mainly for lobster They have changed their menu some days back and omitted Lobster from their menu. (will miss that badly) so today Started with their trademark king prawns with hunan sauce it was fabulous .then went for their new recipe Mahlak noodles with some chicken forgotten the name. Chicken was good but noodles was a disappointment. When they asked me about food, I told them I didn't like that noodles with mahlak sauce. So they packed a complimentary chicken Hakka noodles for me😀 they just never fail in their service. I will be visiting again n again.

Went there after a long time. Ordered burnt garlic veg soup. Less salty, okay quantity. Overall good. Then we dared (fortunately)to order non veg platter for Momo. Best decision. Three kinds of Momo, three pieces of each. Chicken and prawn combo. Had dimsum and Crystal Momo(actually the way Momo should be prepared).
It was very filling.
Momo (authentic) Khana Hai to mainland China
Oh and we ordered pan fried veg noodles.
Again the best in town!😀👍

One of the best Chinese restaurants of Bhubaneswar! Would definitely recommend this place to my relatives and friends. Great food and ambience as well.

Authentic Chinese cuisine and buffet is always the best option to have food over here. Main course items are great. Good ambience, good food, good service. Combination of all three.

Dropped by enroute to Kolkata.... went in with much expectations but was utterly disappointed. Food was pathetic and what irritated the most was the lazy attitude of all the staff. Everything takes 5-10 mins to be taken care.
Avoid if possible or is it the standard if Bhubneshwar - not sure. Either ways.... it was just an absolute classless experience.

Awesome food, a break from the mundane monotonous naan and butter paneer stuff. Loved the ambience, the waiters were thorough professional. Food was great ...I would like to specially mention crispy corn chilli pepper and pan tossed cottage cheese. A must visit place in Bhubaneswar
