Review The Zaika - Bhubaneswar

I ordered Panner tikka biryani. The food tasted good but the prices were too much. They even charged for a container. The ambience was ok.

We were a family of nine. We ordered dal khichdi, palak paneer, chicken Afghani, egg fried rice, chicken haka noodles and breads. The food was delicious. The decor was elegant and the service excellent. Despite the high quality, it came to just ₹300 per head. Would definitely recommend it.👍🏼

Beautiful ambience. Taste was awesome. The best was Corn Fry. You can gate variety of foods. Price a little bit higher side. But worthy

Perhaps one that finest fine dining experiences I have had in bhubaneshwar till date. The ambience is majestic to put it short. Starting from the wood architecture to the long window panes the slow music and the humongous stadium alike Fried roomali they complemented us with, it was overall a very royal experience. They could improve on their serving speed but the food quality will more than makeup for it. It's just overkill! We took Gosht Biryani and yes, being a bong I must say this is the best biryani you can get in town! We finished up with fried ice cream. It was mouth smacking! A perfect blend of vanilla cream with the crunch of bread on it topped with cashews and chocolate syrup. The best part where they pretty much check all the boxes is the price. We billed a budget price of 770 rupees for all the delicacies. If you are a sophisticated fine diner then really should consider this place!

What can I say more about Zaika !! Being one of the oldest in town, it has made its name in its authenticity and taste. And the best part was during its Kebab festival that we attended . We were served with various rendition of kebabs. We were served with Soda sikanji in cute bottle,ghost paya sorba ,dahi kebab, tandoori chicken lollypop (that's something new),murg malai kebab,Nasella jhenga,awadhi Hyderabadi Biryani,Darsan (it's the best of all dessert I had) . Truly ,a gastronomical experience 😍

Excellent food, awesome ambience! Only downside was all the courses were rushed through. Soup and starters were served together...wherein if we dug into the starters, soups were turning cold! Overall a good experience. The fantastic and sumptuous food makes up for all other lacuna :)

Good food but not like it used to be a couple of years back. May be, their cooks of the old are no longer working there... This used to be one of my favourite dine-in restaurants in Bhubaneswar and I used to frequent it along with my friends. My personal favourite used to be roomali roti with Chicken curry.

Ambience wise it’s good. Went for Chinese starters etc i.e. soup and starters. Service was not that great in terms of time although staff is courteous.

Restaurant ambience pretty good. Lots of choices available for food like see food etc. Taste was good. Some things I didn't like is their time taken to serve the food after order. And another thing is they are charging Rs55/- for water bottle while the MRP is Rs20/-, charging more than MRP. Cost of other items are little on higher side, but ok for this standard of restaurant.

Whatever we ordered was VERY tasty. They even customozed some dishes as per what we wanted. Very friendly and polite staff as well! We had murg lasooni kebab and tangri kebab, hyderabadi chicken gravy and roti

A more better place for taste enthusiasts. Personnel behavior was pretty good. Good ambience. A good place to have lunch and dinner with family.

There's no arrangements for kids leading to water spilling & spoons falling.<br/><br/>Staff was pushing us for Buffet but we went for Ala Carte and it was moreover over priced to reach the buffet price 😪😠<br/><br/>We were around 7-8 persons with 2 small kids who ordered;<br/>Tandoori Roti<br/>Kulcha<br/>Dal Makhani<br/>Paneer Handi<br/>Chicken curry<br/>Mix Veg<br/>Pappad<br/>Salad<br/>Ice cream <br/><br/>It was a nice experience but it may pinch your pocket, so better go for Buffet which is Restaurants choice

The ambience is so apt as the name goes. I have been there twice and I must that the food is so good there. We were there for friends get together. The staff is courteous enough and friendly. This place serves variety of food and I tried the Indian. Famous for its roomali papad which is so big that we even 4 people couldn't finish that. LOL! fish, chicken, handi paneer, it was good. We had a concern that that glasses in which water was served were a bit dirty which the staff should take care of as Hygiene comes first. You can visit this place definitely once at least to try the Indian food.

We ordered 2 items. The waiter said it would take 20 minutes for the food to be served.<br/><br/>30 minutes pass, but the food is still yet to come. There was also no sign of any waiter around. Both we and the folks on the table beside ours started turning and calling out to a few waiters who were on the other side of the room looking at someone’s cake-cutting and celebration.<br/><br/>I then got out of my chair and went to get the attention of one waiter/manager. He was tall and hefty. I asked him how much more time it would take, to which he simply responded: “It is closing time, so it will take more time”. There was zero effort to find out how much longer my table’s food would take to come. Why even let customers in your restaurant at closing hours if this is the service you give them?<br/><br/>And to add insult to injury, while I was standing there still speaking to him, he noticed the other table’s people raising their hand, so he just ignored me and ran towards them. It was as though I had walked across the room only to send him to other customers.<br/><br/>The food arrived after 40 minutes. The risotto was bad. I think it was microwaved. The rice part was very bland. The chicken was hard.<br/><br/>Based on my experience, I would not visit this place again.

Staff was so awesome,The behavior of the staff is really wonderful ,miss sumitra is very courteous and cute , mr akbar is so gentle , bipin and jagannath also gave us nice service.Food was very taste we order tangdi kebab,chicken tarro ,dum biryani and mix hakka noodles it was really delicious ..very very thanks for your great service and great food and many thanks to the chef who had made the food from there heart... best of luck zaika pal heights

Had non veg manchow soup which was great. And mixed non veg sizzler for main course which contained alot of veggies with lamb, chicken and shrimps which was amazing. And the amount is a lot. So be careful what you order it with. And sizzling brownie for dessert which was great as well. Great decor and interior. Okay staff. Had a good time.

First of all The food was pathetic ! Fried Rice was over cooked like normal steam rice n served cold,chili mushroom was like fried for the second or third time and was served,paneer was avg.<br/>I dont know why people have rated 4-5* (May be for Non-Veg).Moreover that you people are celebrating daughters festival till 09:30pm by cutting a cake n photo session,for which you are charging 100-150 rupees more in each and every item ! If I reach at 10:20pm and u people dont make us a part of your celebration,u say its till 09:30pm,then why do u people charge with ur new celebration menu (100 rupees more in every Item)??<br/>This is a new way of cheating people in the name of celebration with a very high price for the type of food served and yes without the bill !! The manager said the printer is not working ! That may be a lie or truth but this is not ethical to charge as per the new menu after ur celebration time is over !

A must visit place.. Good place with very good staffs.. Service and behaviour of staffs are very good. Ambiance is awesome and you can click lots f pics with good background there. Coming to food, in starters we ordered Crispy corn, chicken taipai, Murgh reshmi kebab, Manchaow soup, Bharwa tandoori mushrooms. All the starters are very tasty. In main course we had Murg tikka biriyani, Schezwan fried rice, Pineapple raita, T Singhoi chicken, Ghost kali mirch, Paneer deewani handi, masala kulcha. Must try Murg tikka biriyani and ghost kali mirch... T Singhoi chicken was not at all good.. In dessert We ordered Sizzling brownies and fried ice cream.. Don't try sizzling brownies.. it didn't have chocolate syrup and the brownie was not at all tasty but fried ice-cream was awesome.. Overall good experience at Zaika..

Today we went there.. experience is not so good..<br/><br/>We opted for normal water instead of mineral water.. normal water tasted like unfiltered water and very bad taste.<br/><br/>The staffs didnot have sufficient information about the ingredients of the food ..<br/>They said we il get veggies, mushroom, broccoli in sezwan chicken noodles but all were missing! N it didn't taste good.<br/><br/>They suggested malacha chicken , again it was just bad in taste!<br/><br/>Very disappointed with the food !!<br/>

I ordered two items from Zaika Hotel Pal Heights, Bhubaneswar and found the dishes were leaking due to poor packaging. The size of the container was too much compared to the quantity of the dishes. They took well enough time to confirm my order as it is! Then again , when I started eating I found the chicken gravy had tiny sand pebbles. My first time ordering went terrible but I hope they improve their services in the future!!

The ambience and food was quite wonderful. The staff was polite and the food had a certain flavour to it and was also apt according to the price.<br/>

I had high hopes for this place and it totally disappointed us. We ordered a Grilled chicken dish which had a dead mosquito in it. As we were having the food, a cockroach climbed on the table and the waiter was afraid to remove it. We didn't show bad temper till they served us Biryani with hair in it. It was totally gross and the mutton was uncooked. Shouldn't call themselves a 3 star restaurant if they are not efficient enough to maintain their standards.<br/>Not recommended.
