Review Mamma Mia!' Bakery Cafe - Bhubaneswar

Omg mamma mia is so beautiful as it was my first time there and I did always wanted to visit this place. So finally u did and I seriously loved this place. The perfect place to click lots and lots of picture. And the place is full of greens as there are lots of plants. The place was so spacious and lot of places to sit and chill. We ordered so pizza, cold coffee, hot chocolate and some pastries. It was really costly and the taste of the pizza was disgusting as this is a bakery cafe so pasties were top notch. I really loved the place yaar. Totally 5 out of 5 to this place. And outside siting area was so cool and peaceful totally loved it.

One of the best cafes in Bhubaneswar. Cozy and funky ambiance. Made in an old English cafe interior, the place is quite comfortable. In addition to bakery and beverage, the menu offers grill and continental combos. We tried wood fired pizza and it was good. Though they promote wood fired pizza oven, it was nothing much like the barbeque aroma. Nevertheless the pizza was tasty. The coffee machine was out of order or something which was it was less forthy ;) that's what the waiter explained. When you are a high end restaurant, that's not quite professional. But anyway we didn't try too many items to have a detailed review on food. Absolutely the best place in terms of ambiance. Staffs are good and hygiene was quite good. Definitely you will spend some good time here.

One of the best bakery in Bhubaneswar. No doubt it offers a great ambience but it would have been great if they had more options like cheesecake, donuts, chocotarts. I would love to try out those. Overall a good experience and great service!

Best pastry ever!!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! . Try out their Margerita Pizza and Tiramisu. They are freshly made which preserves the original taste! . Definitely visiting again for these!

Ambience communicates class and comfortability. It's a wonderful place to indulge in Italian or Mexican cuisine. Even their cakes are yummy. We had a lovely time while being taken care of by the service staff. The recommendations were good and they went a step ahead to even start the wood fire oven to serve us freshly cooked pizza. We came with expectations and must say we were not dissapointed. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service ones receives here. Parking is available just outside the campus and weekends gets crowded and hence it's recommended to show up few minutes earlier than lunch time.

Undoubtedly, the best bakery in town..The location of this bakery is perfect.. The pastries are mouth watering !! It brings your pallets back to life. Milano Cottage pizza was awesome..O'course the price is high, but the quality makes sure that you don't regret.. The decor of this place is brilliant.. Lastly, there is nothing really to say about service.It was pretty fast. Worth a visit..

They give one of the best burgers in the city but don't try sea food at mamma mia it's disappointing. Indian sweets are also very bad there. Try only sandwiches, burger, bakery, sawarma at mamma mia, Mayfair

It one of the best confectionery in BBSR. The pastry coffee and chicken cutlets are on higher range of price but you have to pay for the ambience. The interior is beautiful as they change it a regular basis

Delicious food... Their Mushroom and Cheese burger is one of the best vegetarian burgers I've ever had! Mushroom Stroganoff's sauce was heavenly, although it could've done with a little bit less of bell peppers. The Opera Cake had perfectly constructed layers of coffee, jaconde, and chocolate ... The flavours were en pointe - not too dark or sweet, and the texture of the biscuits and the silky chocolate ganache made for luxurious bites! The service at Mayfair is, as always, exemplary. Food top notch, service top notch, hygiene top notch, ambience also is top rate. Overall an excellent place to hangout or have a party. They are trying to introduce new coffee flavours. So do try that. Thin crust pizza and classic club Sandwich are great to tryout. Happy munching when you are there.

Beautiful, tasty & hygienic cakes they provide. Tasty bakery items also available here. Mostly the chef Sahu himself takes care of all the beautiful cakes they are providing. The Belgian chocolate cake is so amazing. Although the pricing is little bit expensive but there is no compromise in quality. One of the best bakery shop in Bhubaneswar.

Got the chocolate truffle cake , it was fresh, delicious and worth the price! It was packed well and was pleased to see the brand name being upheld. Would ask for making this flavor available on zomato.

We ordered fish and chips, veg arrabiata pasta, chicken burger, bbq chicken pizza and red velvet pastries. All the dishes were good except for the pizza. The pizza base tasted strange - it was either stale or raw. We could not eat it at all.

The cakes here are yum. Just a little overpriced. But still the quality is worth it. Quite satisfied

The chicken spaghetti is the most amazing and the best I have ever had! It’s definitely worth a try :) Just loved the creamy and cheesy treat!

I needed 100 lunch boxes for a small function. I must appreciate the highly dedicated staff who made the whole process of ordering and delivery perfect and seamless. Each and every detail was taken care of. The taste and quality of the products (especially the pineapple pastry) were par excellence. And all this was arranged just through a phone call. Remarkably pretty decor. They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. From beverage to dessert, their food is great. Had tried their cafe latte, cafe mocha, fish n chips, alfredo penne pasta and chicken club sandwich and I would recommend all of these items. Service can be improved upon. This place is quite expensive. A point to note, they levy a total of 18% GST.

O my my I love this place. From food to service to service to ambience, everything is just perfect. The best thing is you don't have to think what should you order because everything is good here. I have been to this place 8 to 10 times and I usually review after going atleast twice. But everytime I was left with smiles, I had tried pastas, burgers, fish n chips, soups, shakes, pastries..... Staff was so awesome. They allowed us to order half and half pizza which was soo good. We had five cheese and the one with all the veggies. Lasagna was beyond words. It has liquid cheese might not the everones cup of tea. Arabiata pasta was one of the best ive had and ive had so many so thats a must try. For dessert red velvet party is ftw. Beautiful place and very comfortable seating. Polite and professional staff. Definitely recommend.

Ordered a chocolate mousse cake for a special one's birthday. They gave a cake with rakhi and tricolor designs which was extremly deceiving. Secong the cake was super dooper sweet and bread was hard as stone. Third extremely overpriced for its taste and quality.<br/><br/>Overall unhappy with the bakes!

The pastries and breads are very well done.<br/>The apple pie sometimes has raisins in the filling and that's not fun, so I wouldn't recommend them. I recommend their banana bread and puffs.

This is one of the best place to have something sweet stuff.From pastries,tart they have it all and being situated as a part of Mayfair there is no need to speak of ambience as mamma Mia is absolutely good.They even have an adjoining restro type area were one can have other foods,there's also a live kitchen and the staff are also great and yes I recommend you would have to be high on bucks if you are ever visiting it.

One of the best place to have Italian and Mexican in the city of temples. Located on the outer skirts of Hotel Mayfair lagoon. Interior is just wow. They have 2 sections here. One is for Italian and Mexican joint and another one is for Cafe with a bake shop. The best coffee you will get here with variety of pastries and savouries from oven. We had enchilada and penne Alfredo. Both were just amazing.<br/><br/>Service was courteous and prompt. Desraj is such a nice guy helped us in selecting pastry which I bought for my granny. 5 star??? Why doesn't Zomato allow me to add 7 stars?? Bestest cheesecake I have had in last 4 years. I always wanted to taste good cheesecake. Bangalore disappointed me... But I found my new favorite cheesecake at Mamma Mia. After a stupendous Blueberry Cheesecake for my birthday cake from the restaurant, I had the opportunity to try other desserts at Mamma Mia. All I can say is I want to eat their sinful Italian Pudding every day of my life.

MayFair has its own charm. Especially Mamma Mia, the pastries available here is up to the mark and even delicious. The price is reasonable. The pizza was good,but I won't say delicious.

My 7 year old naughty son's most favourite place. From his breads, to Bday cakes... he wants it all from there. I particularly love their crunchy crispy Veg Puff, Han tossed Firewood Pizza. We have been going to this cafe for many years now and inspite of all the new establishments that have opened in the city during this period, this remains the best cafe in town. Good options to snack and eat, reasonable service and comfortable seating makes this the go-to option when you’ve to meet friends and can’t decide where to go. When in doubt, go there.

Mayfair lives up to its brand value in this City too. Mamma Mia does serve good food and desserts. I loved the pizza and pastry. Not a very good feedback for coffee though. Pocket pinch for the food is nit really high anyway. So yaa! A must go

The manangement is the worst. We went during Christmas and their service is so bad. They couldn't even tell us if there is any vacancy for 1 hour. Very poor customer service. Highly dissapointing behavior of the staff.

Always the first choice for lip smacking snacks, awesomely delicious pastas and the variety of pastries and confectionaries . The sitting arrangement is very comfortable how ever bit busy during 4-6 pm .

Mamma Mia !!! This is a beautiful place to hangout and is almost a hideout for me . It is a little overpriced but the food is amazing , not only the pastries , puffs and croissants but also the amazing soups , Caesar salad , club sandwiches , pizzas , garlic bread , grilled chicken and much more are just the best . My personal favourite is the Caesar salad ! I also love the refreshing beverages they have . The ambience is very very very warm and service along with service staff are comforting . Love it ........

One of the cheapest and best places in Bhubaneshwar to enjoy your desert. The barbeque is way better than what any other place in the city would provide you with. However if it's a festive time don't forget to book your table as the staff gets lil too busy with current customers forgetting the potential ones 😅

If there would have been an option for 0 star, I would have chosen that. With that much rave about this restaurant, I brought my family here enthusiastically, but I am highly disappointed with the food, the service and all.<br/><br/>First of all the service was extremely slow, there was only one server looking for everything, we had to keep calling the server to serve the food. We ordered pasta and they forgot the order and remembered after 15 min that we had ordered and asked us to wait 10 more min for the pasta.<br/><br/>This isn't the service I was expecting from a 5 star hotel. The food was also not at the par. Sandy's restaurant is way more better in food as well as the service.<br/><br/>

Visited today and let's get to the point...my life revolves around food be only food :) ... Ordered sphagetti agilo olio ...just the perfect..we reordered and had veg grilled sandwich which was ok.. wow effect of the sandwich was missing but it seemed that the purpose was to keep it simple...service more than a 5 ... And ambience nothing can beat mayfair ND they don't need my review there :)....keep it up guys...

Well, this was my Valentine's Day destination. Mayfair offers a variety of cuisines and there's provision for lodging as well. The best restaurants out here (according to me) are Teapot and Mama Mia. Mama Mia provides a wonderful range of confectioneries and once you hit this place you are bound to gain a few kilos before you leave. During the month of February they were exclusively dealing with strawberries. The pastries we had provided us the best sort of mortal pleasure. The other snacks are also delicious. The ambience gets a straight 10/10 and so does the food. If you want to pamper your taste buds please take yourself on a date out there. It's a good place for kids as well. There's a small park outdoors where they can have a good time.

It was simply delicious and this unique combination left a tantalising taste of mushrooms and makes me come back for more!<br/>Mamma Mia tomato soup:<br/>At first glance this may look like your good old tomato soup and it was the same, but with a twist. <br/>The tomato soup was clear and infused with garlic and Jasmine. The jasmine undertones, though not overwhelming, were strong and elevated the soup to a whole new level. <br/>Completely different than Mamma Mia regular soups, I wouldn't mind coming back for such fusions!

The wood fired pizza , lamb fajita are my favorites over here and red velvet and Tiramisu are real winners in deserts. Though a bit overpriced , the place and the food make it worth. A perfect place for all kinds. Mayfair is always an amazing destination. The staff is really sophisticated but I have encountered with some grumpy ones. Anyways waiting for another visit when I get home :)<br/>

Cool ambiance as obvious, one of the best in the city. Lamb Fajita was good but it was not how fajita is served in actual, had to explain the waiter and he made it a tortilla ;) but overall everything was great!!

According to me ,Mamma Mia is the only continental restaurant in Bbsr. We had ordered Spaghetti and Fish and Chips and both were delicious. But a matter of concern is the bakery. They ran out of Cakes and Puffs in the evening, and evenings are considered to be the peak time in Bbsr. The cooking of the dishes should speed up. Overally the restaurant is 👌👌

Was a big fan of the entire chain of restaurants Mayfair operates , especially Mamma Mia. However, due to the nonchalant behaviour of the staff my liking towards this place has abated. The waiters at Mamma Mia are indifferent and inefficient as they do not pay heed to the customers. One needs to remind them again and again to take orders. No one approaches you unless you personally call them.<br/>Once an order is taken, no one cares to attend you. All the waiters are busy in their own world. One needs to repeatedly remind them to bring the bill after they are done. Also, service quality in other restaurants has degraded. In the era of heavy competition Mayfair needs to work on its service quality. Food is otherwise okay.

No doubt its one of the best and finest cafe and bakery of bhubaneswar. However the behaviour of waiter was extremely bad compared to the standard of the place. I celebrated bday cake their after buying cake from their bakery also ordered pizza and burgers but the attitude of the waiters towards us was like we don't belong to that place. One of the dependable places for European cuisine in the city is MAMMA MIA at HOTEL MAYFAIR LAGOON AND RESORTS.<br/>So we were in a group of six people and decided to go for a dinner at this restaurant. The place has a own dedicated bakery section,beautifully made in whites and adorning posters from the famous musical production MAMMA MIA. It also has a proper sit in restaurant and a more relaxed al-fresco dining space. The ambience, if not the best, still gives a feel of a plush and luxurious eating place.<br/><br/>We ordered for a BARBECUE CHICKEN PIZZA (₹525) which was a thin hand stretch pizza filled with veggies and chicken chunks. The taste and presentation was good but the pizza base could have been cooked for a minute more and should have been a bit more saucy. The GRILL SALMON (₹575) was a huge fillet of salmon fish grill and served with various sides. Again the salmon tasted great, it was moist and appropriately spiced, but was overcooked by a couple of minutes which meant the flesh was bit chewy. The LOBSTER THERMIDOR (₹1200) was probably the best you would eat in the town, was perfectly cooked, was hot and creamy. GRILL CHICKEN (₹625) tasted good, was properly cooked, the chicken was soft and moist. In any other place this would have been a great meal experience but the prices the place demands, I demand a bit more perfection in the meal.<br/>Generally the place is known for its great service but that day we had a newbie serving our table and was busy goofing up things, but that was a one of the rare experience at the place. The apt rating would be a 3.5. Service wise good, cooperative smiling and helpful staff. We randomnly walked in for an evening quick bite onlyy short bbsr trip, and i was really impressed!!<br/>Nice ambience and beautifully done decor. Lovely spread of pastries and loafs will draw your attention once you walk in. <br/>Food wise, we had the milano cottage pizza and it was really very delicious. One of the best pizzas i have had, i must say. Plenty of toppings and a perfectly crunchy thin crust, and the cheese done right. A perfect 5/5.<br/>We also had the freah fruit pastry, which i actually ordered for my toddler but that was let down. The fruits very very sour. 2/5.<br/>This is a must visit place for pizza love.

Such a cute pastry and cake shop it is. A little expensive but a really good place, all the posters put up there are so cool and the interior is classic you can real good pictures of yours here.

My favourite bakery in Bhubaneswar. Every time I visit Bhubaneswar, i make sure to visit mamma mia, may be to cherish my Bhubaneswar days and to have their amazing pastries. The pastries that they serve is really soft and very delicious. Staff needs improvement little bit, they should be more professional. Apart from that everything is mamma mia.

I head straight to Mamma Mia whenever I am in Bbsr, not just because of the quality of food n great service but also to try out new n interesting dishes. No other restaurant or cafe in Bbsr experiments with their dishes so much as Mayfair does. Tried the black quinoa salad for the first time which the chef said is made from organic ingredients. To hell with the ingredient source, I am a food lover n taste is what counts for me. Chef Gourav I loved it. Imma search for d same dish wen i travel back to Bangalore dis weekend.

Friends insisted so came here for the first time n was blown away. Good food n service. It's quite spacious for a cafe. Didn't know you could order beers in a cafe as well. Haha. This is one thing which will make me come back again for sure.

A really lovely place to be around with friends. Well decorated and with a really cool Ambience to hang around.. I loved the place.. we had pizza and pastries.. the taste was really good😍. The staffs were really well behaved and dealt with the customers in proper manner.. 😅
