A good restaurant in Janpath area... Food was also good.. Ambiance was good.. Service was praiseworthy... Kulfi was not so good... They charge 30 Rs. for one Water bottle instead of 20 Rs. which is not good for this type of Restaurants..

I was on a night hault in Bhubaneshwar near "I ❤️ Bhubaneshwar" area. Was looking for a restaurant other than that of our hotel. This one came in suggestion had 4+ rating in Zomato and it was near. So headed this way. Restaurant is at 1st floor. Not sure they have a lift, could not see one. Could be problem for those having knee or other issues. Anyway we went up, stair is narrow. However the seating area is big enough. We were greeted and welcomed with crispy "matri" and jal jeera as we ordered - chef special chicken with ulta tawa paratha, mutton rogan josh and plain rice. The chef special chicken was really special - thick gravy with aromatic spices, beresta and nuts. Ulta tawa paratha was crispy but soft enough. Liked it a lot. Mutton rogan josh was also very tastey, however I wish the mutton pieces were of more meat and less fat. Had masala cola, it was refreshing. Overall very very tastey Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.

We celebrated the wedding anniversary of S-I-L & CO B-I-L. Food is good. Service is satisfactory. The staircase is stiff. No lift provision. Parking is difficult.

Ambience was good with soothing music. Service can be faster. Food was delicious.

I recently visited Narula's Restaurant for lunch and was delighted by the scrumptious food they serve. The chicken lababdar was simply outstanding, and it compelled me to return for a second visit. However, I must admit that my experience was slightly marred by an unforeseen circumstance. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with comfortable seating arrangements and a friendly staff. The aroma of the food was enough to make my mouth water, and I eagerly looked forward to savoring every bite. As I sat down to enjoy my meal, I noticed a group of cricket experts seated beside us, engrossed in a passionate discussion about the sport. The experts seemed to be deeply engrossed in their conversation, which occasionally grew quite loud and distracting. This unexpected turn of events made it difficult for me to have a peaceful and relaxed dining experience. Nonetheless, the food itself was undeniably the star of the show. The chicken lababdar was rich in flavor, with tender pieces of chicken cooked to perfection in a creamy tomato-based gravy. The spices were well-balanced, adding a delightful kick without overpowering the dish. The serving size was generous, and the accompanying naan bread was soft and freshly baked. Despite the cricket overload, I couldn't resist visiting Narula's Restaurant again the next day solely for the sake of experiencing their delicious food. The consistency in taste and quality was commendable, and I left with a satisfied palate once more. In conclusion, Narula's Restaurant offers delectable food that is worth indulging in. However, it would be beneficial if the management took steps to ensure that discussions or noise levels from other guests do not disrupt the dining experience for everyone. For those who appreciate both cricket and great food, this might be the perfect spot.

Nice restaurant. Neat, clean and hygienic. Tast is really delicious. Staffs are well behaved and courteous. Quick service. Rate is reasonable. No Chinese dish available. Good location.

Certainly one of the best places to have Indian food in Bhubaneswar. We had Nun and butter chicken. Both were awesome.

It was a good restaurant specially for north Indian food lovers, they serve delicious welcome drink with Mathi. I loved their rara chicken and butter chicken. Their pindi chole was also worth trying if you're craving for home cooked food, go for their veg thali meal. Service could have been better, it feels like their staff was in a rush to get us out of the restaurant, wifi won't work here so carry cash.

Visited for dinner late Night and ordered a mutton curry with tandoori rotis. Food quality was extraordinary. Plus: Well cleaned, beautiful ambient and the staff was very decent. Minus: The price was a bit on the higher side.

Good place. Very neat nd clean. Super hygienic. You will get quality food in affordable price range. All staffs well behaved and very friendly. I like this place nd food also. I ordered naan, mushroom do pyaza, chicken biryani, chicken hyderabadi. They all are fresh nd good in taste.

Today i ordered 2 narula special butter chicken biryani ..But the biryani was not satisfctory there was 4 to 5 very small pieces of chickrn found in it which i have shown in the pics..It was really disapointing from such a reputed restaurant like u .

Recently ordered from Narula during this lockdown. Would definitely recommend the Malai Prawn. The pieces however are quite small but the dish tasted good. The butter chicken had 6-7 pieces and was decent enough. The butter garlic naan was terrible. It was hard and not at all worth the price.

Excellent food literally. Each dish is scored with a target. Very tasty and excellent food. Great service. One of the authentic restaurants. Anyone who wants to eat good Indian food in the city is the right place. Then i will definitely recommend this.

Got food poisoning. Restaurant must ensure that they clear out old stock from refrigerator and not try to pass it off. Get fresh raw material if you want people to trust you to order post COVID 19

The food took a lot of time to get delivered the delivery person informed me that he had to wait for very long as the ingredients were not available at the restaurant if that was the case why did the restaurant even accept the order. And inspite of waiting for so long i got to have a very pathetic biriyani.

Well mannered staffs with plenty of north Indian dishes to choose from. Been here number of times. The place never fails me. :)

Ordered prawn biriyani as we couldnot eat the whole asked them to parcel it which had 2 prawns but on reaching we found NO prawns in it. Either they might have eaten it Or given it to some other customer disgusting we couldn't belive such things also happen in good restaurants. Worst experience ever

Do not order from this restaurant. They are highly unprofessional. First they accepted the order, than they called to say its not possible to cook the items and after a lot of arguing and convincing they did. But the worst example was when they asked the ZAMAOTA rider to buy egg from a nearby shop and they don't have eggs in stock. First time came across such restaurant. Finally when the order did arrive they forgot to send an item or intentionally didn't send no idea. No idea why they are on Zomato if they can't keep a commitment of simple service.

We ordered Butter naan first which was very sweet. We asked the manager to kindly take it back and give us rumali roti instead. The rumali roti was sweet as well. When we asked the manager he said that this the way naan and rumali roti are made. They were so adamant that they didn't take the naan back and they included the naan and roti in the bill. They said that we can leave the naan as it is but they won't remove it from the bill. The food wasn't also upto the mark. Overpriced as well. Would never recommend anyone to dine in this restaurant

The veg starters we're really tasty and worth the price .<br/><br/>I had ordered makai Malai shorba and I bet it's one of the best veg soups I have tasted so far in Bhubaneswar. Added to that , the stuffed mushrooms we're just wow . The stuffed mushrooms stole the show for sure!<br/><br/>Value for money !

Naan is supposed to be soft n fluffy , it felt like paapad .... Crisp and thin n crunchy.<br/>Kulcha didn't taste good either. Side dish and starters are good. Complementary drink is a nice gesture.

Both veg and non veg are good. If you want the food to be spicy do mention them your requirements. In short it's a good restaurant to visit with family.

The staff were very unprofessional,The Matar Paneer was bad,really bad. The order to was so late that a family came after us ordered after us ate before us and left before us.

Ordered chicken biryani and i was really disappointed with the packing of the food. They should pack the biryani because the box was already open till it reached home. Taste of biryani is good but again i was disappointed with the quantity. The quantity of biryani was not according to the price.

I ordered special patiala chicken from this restaurant from zomato and i really cant figure it out how did they name it as “ special patiala “ . What a shame . What was special about it ? Nothing at all . It had small bits of chicken wrapped like a roll and had a horrible taste . My first experience with this restaurant encourages me not to order any further . Highly disappointed. They are making money by disappointing and fooling the customers . Cook at home instead .

Had a great experience. It's a family restaurant but no such issue to visit that along with your friends for lunch. We ordered bullet chicken as starter. Must try this one. Then ordered cheese naan and Narula's special Patiala chicken and believe me guys it was so yum. Main course of chicken was actually very rich in taste. Chicken keema was wrapped with fine omlet was so exaggerating. Try these dishes and I hope you will love it except those who are health conscious 😄

Pleasant ambience,Friendly staff, reasonable price, tasty food. veg fried rice and paneer kurchan we had were tastiest among all. Also one can try reshmi paneer kebab, chicken tikka, methi malai chicken

We all had a great luncheon at Narula restaurant with amazing service and food. The staff were prompt and the food right from the complimentary to the starters and main course, every food item was delicious except paneer tikka butter masala. Though the restaurant is expensive but it's worth visiting.

I'm rating it 3 bcz I wander how this resto got 4.4 rating! There food is so terrible! There chicken pieces are not fresh, they really serve chickens that are around 3-4 days old. Nd that to in chicken biryani! Seriously, there chicken biryani was terrible rather I would say every chicken dish is worst as they serve stale chicken. How disgusting!

This a quaint little place with nice friendly staff. Food is tasteful and value for money. Paneer tikka is a little under-seasoned but gravy dishes and dal makhani are well made. Specially like the jaljeera and snacks they serve as welcome dishes on every table. Good place for a casual dinner with family or friends.

Ordered the Narula’s Special Butter Chicken Biryani as it was on Todays' Exclusive Offers. The price was a whopping RS. 320 and the food quantity left a lot to be desired. On top of it, I paid Rs, 60 extra (taxes + delivery charges). So, I essentially I paid Rs. 380 for Briyani that's not even enough to feed one person. Zomato should ensure the restaurants should display the actual quantity so the customer can have an idea about how much/many to order.Disappointed! :-(

I ordered chhola bhatura and veg biryani from here. Chhola bhatura was ok ok and I found a big stone in veg biryani and taste was also not good.

We ordered Dal Makhani, Rice and a Veg Curry and what we got is Dal Makhani Spilled within the carry bag, When I questioned the delivery valet on this he said that tge restaurant did not listen to him when he told them that the package was leaking. Very disappointed. Pathetic people who would deliberately deliver package like this.

This place, one of the best places i have ever visited. The food quality so good and the taste too. The ambiance so damn cool. A little pricey but worth it. Superb food. And yes you have to book before hand to get a table

This restaurant is located on the 1st floor on Janpath road. There's a hotel Basera next to it. It's a nice little restaurant with average decor. Tries to be fine dining but is far from it. A visit to their washroom will confirm it. Nonetheless, the service is fast and friendly. Food is pretty nice too with decent pricing. Ordered their bullet chicken as appetizer, chicken Ludhianvi, rara murgh, butter naan and jeera rice. Tatse of everything was better than what one would expect. The bullet chicken was a little under seasoned. Special shoutout to their server Pramod who made the entire experience much better than what it would've been.

I ordered their patiala chicken special which coats 300. They filled it with omelette and crumbs of chicken. They don’t serve food, they serve shit. Don’t ever order from this restaurant.

The place is awesome food wise , well appreciated . We had MUTTON ROGAN JOSH at ₹295(3.5/5) , which was quite nice I won't say great . Probably the quantity can be improved to food & we had also tried CHICKEN MALAI TIKKA at ₹260, the taste is (4.5/5) absolutely . Still a good place . Had a nice time .

Me & my Best friend were searching for a good restaurant & we had heard about this restaurant a lot so went ahead.<br/>Firstly, we were served with complementary Jal jeera & namkeens, which was quite nice.<br/>And, we really wanted to have Crispy American Corn which wasn't mentioned on the menu as its purely Indian, but they were kind enough to mention that they do prepare American corn on demand and there was no issue.<br/>So, yayy!<br/><br/>We ordered butter naan, paneer tikka masala and American corn. We were quite skeptical about this place as we ordered veg. But everything turned out to be great & it did stand up their reputation and ratings. Plus, the service was great and is budget friendly as well.<br/><br/>Definitely try it out.

The restaurant was serving good food earlier . But recently it has started giving substandard stale and tasteless food to Zomato. Inspite of my complain they have not taken any steps. One should never order food from this place below substandard qualitu.

They served us stale Chicken Tikka Butter Masala. And that was enough to give them zero stars. No way restaurant providing this kind of food can be tolerated.

Trust me guys, here you would find one of the best mutton biryani in the city. The rice was flavourful and well blended in spices. The mutton pieces were tender and juicy, the meat was just falling off the bones easily making it much perfect. It contained ample amount of rice and around 6 pices making it enough for two people. I literally loved it.

I have tried number of chicken items and bread/nan items from this restaurant.<br/>Quality and test is really good.  Food tastes superb .  Oil quantity is less compared to other restaurant.<br/>Though price is bit higher , but its good value for money.

Went for Team Lunch on a hot Friday afternoon. This place was crowded but fortunately we got our seats quickly for 7 of us. Mathris and jaljeera we're served as complimentary as Soon as we settled down.<br/><br/>We ordered for both veg and non veg items in starters (Tomato Dhaniya Shorba, Dahi ke sholey, Cheese corn balls, Chilly Chicken, Bullet Chicken, Makhmali Kebab). Overall the Food tasted okay-ish.<br/><br/>In main course we ordered for kulchas and gravy items. Loved the stuffed cheese Kulcha specifically.<br/><br/>One thing I didn't like at all was the I was served with dirty cutlery which was not a good sign though it got replaced immediately on my request. (Infact They had to do it)<br/><br/>The audio system had Bluetooth connectivity, and the management let us connect our phone to hear songs of our choice and we loved it.

Food was good, but really slow service. I ordered the Butter Chicken + Naan + Lassi combo. The naan was not hot and they forgot the lassi altogether. Even after multiple requests the order got delayed. Finally when the lassi arrived it was in a smaller glass ( refer picture - steel glass is the one which I should have got according to my order). I have decided never to eat here again.

Chicken biriyani was horrible. They have just mixed plain rice with chicken curry. Worst biriyani ever. Didn't expect this from Narula. Too bad.

This is where you must head on the days when you crave North Indian Food, or otherwise. They serve some amazing dishes and it looks as if each dish is paid utmost heed while preparing. We tried their Pahadi Kebab for starters. Perfectly marinated, tender and juicy chicken; the best we could have asked for. Amritsari Kulcha & Pindhi chhole for our mains that tasted like match made in heaven. Firni and Gajar-ka-halva for desserts; both the desserts were amazing but their Firni stole the show. Make sure to try it when you're here.

I had ordered chicken biryani and mustard fish. I liked the fish a lot. Chicken biriyani was good too but chicken pieces were bit soury in taste. Maybe too much curd was added while marinating. Overall food was good.

First of all they serve complementary Jal Jeera and some snacks which itself won my heart (big fan of Jal Jeera).<br/>Talking about the food - it was delicious and very much authentic. The portion of dishes is more than adequate and rates are very reasonable considering the quantity. Service is also customer friendly. Ambience is a typical Indian restaurant - it was standard.

This restaurant serves the best food in bhubaneswar. Its one of my favourite place and being a foodie I would recommend all other out there to visit this place and have its delicious food.
