Things NOT to do, when at Tangerine 99!<br/>1. Do not sit near the window seats, the A/C doesn't work, if you complain about it, the manager politely says that its cold enough to cool further. (Maybe I'm on fire)<br/><br/>2. Never ever order 'Fish Salt and Pepper' (which was todays special starter as per the waiter) it tastes so so bad. The bater tastes and smells old. The fish is dry and there is no pepper, only onions.<br/><br/>3. Salad provided is the only good thing that has gained one star for this restaurant.<br/><br/>4. Kulcha was eatable, murgh mussallam was served warm with half an egg as the icing on top, the gravy was salty and the chicken is dry.<br/><br/>5. Beer was the only saviour that made us bear this kind of food.<br/><br/>Hope to never visit this place!! I still sweat sometime thinking about the bad bad food and the pathetic air conditioning.<br/><br/>This is my personal experience of the place. A doctors name and number should be mentioned on the bill, just in case someone calls sick, which is bound to happen.<br/><br/>Also, would like to point out that both me and my friends spotted cockroaches on 2 separate occasions coming out of tissue papers and also from under the table.<br/><br/>GOD save me!

Walked into this place to have dinner on a Thursday night. Placed on the fifth floor of Santosh Plaza in Satya Nagar, the lounge setup is nice with a bar attached.<br/>▫️▫️▫️▫️<br/>Coming to the food, we ordered Burnt garlic soup, mushroom and babycorn salt pepper for the starters.<br/>🔸The soup was yum and the aroma of burnt garlic heightened my appetite.<br/>🔸Mushroom babycorn starter was decent, and less oily but the babycorn seemed dry.<br/>Again for the mains, we had butter kulcha, veg jalfrezi and veg kofta.<br/>🔸Butter kulcha was crispy and yum.<br/>🔸Veg jalfrezi was truly delicious and appetizing.<br/>🔸The kofta gravy was good but again the kofta felt a bit dry from the inside. Could have been better.<br/>▫️▫️▫️▫️<br/>This place is good for those who want a laid back ambience to chill with drinks. <br/>

Love the interior (the mirrors). It is quite a decent place. I only had problem with the music (sometimes playing, sometimes not). Food served is in lesser amount, but considering that it is a bar+restaurant I'd say it's alright. Overall, decent place.

One of the decent bar cum restaurants I've ever been. This place has a fancy decor. The floor, the lighting, the mirrors give it a classy look. They have one little dance floor as well. The food is great and the quality is excellent. But all the items are really overpriced. Staff here is prompt and courteous.

It is basically a club/restaurant you will find more of liquor drinks here and food is that's why expensive here but still also the decorations are good here and disco floor is also here which is smaller one ..

Ambience is great and you get a very good service. The food you get here is comparatively good and the indifference is very cooperative as well.

Loved the food. Quantity was amazing too. We had ordered food from here through zomato. The major drawback was the packaging. The gravies we're not packed in a container and were almost squeezed up when it was delivered.

An hour of scouring the zomato for someplace serving good food and alcohol landed us here. And the moment I walked in, the disappointment settled down heavily on me. The mirrored wall is a little unscrupulous. The ambiance is not that good. The food is on the better side but the prices are high. We tried Reshmi kebab, Tandoori platter, Prawn Chettinadu, and Chicken Butter Masala. The service is not prompt. The only star in the sky - a magician to entertain you with pretty good tricks.

Really bad service. Ordered 3 LIIT's and they couldn't serve it in the same glasses. They gave us in borosilicate measuring glasses and the alcohol proportion was too filthy including 90% of thumps-up. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone for drinking purpose with friends!

The ambience was really good. The non-veg food items that we ordered especially Murg Saloni was awesome. Drums of heaven was as usual good and went really well with the spicy garlic chutney. Stuffed mushrooms were awesome. Veg Fried rice was exceptional in its taste. What disappointed us was schezwan Paneer, it Tasted more like sweet and sour Paneer. So it was a good experience overall.

If you have a lot of money and like to throw it away on shitty food and bad service, this is the place for you. <br/><br/>I used to frequent this place earlier but the recent change of staff has made all it’s attributes go down. You are not going to like the food or the ambiance. Even the though the alcohol might be comparatively cheaper than other places in that area, the food is outrageously expensive. This place is a treat to the eye for the lights and interiors it has.Right from the moment you enter this place this place brings joy. Hot food, live music and cool beer is soothing to heart. This place is one with lovely Ambience and right amongst the top bar cum restaurant of it's types.The only demerit is the little pricy food. You have cool singers singing in front of you so pricy is okay. Trust me this place will not disappoint you in terms of quality of food.

Ambience was great, that of a disco, very lively. Amazing cocktails, specially the malrely's bong. The kebabs here were great, some of the best in town. The cheese kebab could have had a bit more cheese though, but it was great nonetheless, so was the irani kebab. The mushroom 65 was a bit of a disappointment and Singapori fried chicken dry was average. Good place to chill at with friends.

This is fine little outlet with some good lighted flooring and a dance floor(I think) which was not used as I was there for lunch. The seating is limited and if you are a group of 6-7 then there’s a huge sofa right in the middle for you. Food quality was good. Staff are well mannered and take care. The bar items are also well stocked and available. It’s a nice place to catch up with friends.

Standing on the main road with a fabulous view. Tangerine 99 delivers awesome chinese food and great starters. Quantity is comparatively less but they have a good service. Great hangout for friends and has a full bar facility.

The last time I went to Tangerine 99 was a while back, based on solid recommendation of my friends. The food, I must say, was amazing. Especially the kebabs. However, a true lover of sula wine that I am, I was left a bit disappointed. The overall ambiance is spectacular to say the least. Service is pretty satisfactory.

They also serve great mocktails and cocktails.And finally on the price front they are a bit on the priceyer side.

I had much expectation from this restaurant but I was disappointed with the quality & taste of the food which was served. Though the price is high but the food is not upto the mark. And two of the things which we ordered which were mentioned in the menu were not available. The AC was also not working properly.The only thing which we liked was the interior & the fast service.Complete wastage of money and adding to that is the GST !!

I went to this place twice with my buddies for dinner... The ambience is mind blowing it look beautiful dim changing lights in the background and the floor. The table where we sat was beautifully organised with pitch black plates and a beautiful bottle... after this ambience I had a high expectation for best food.. we ordered kapi cho potatoes, vegetables salt and pepper, T99 special chow.. along with this 2 shorts of Smirnoff, 2 shorts of White mischief and 1 short of Orange gin with a cold drink... they served us with the drink first in which they mixed the order among us.. then coming to food they took quite sometime to serve us out order...the amount they served was more than enough for 1 person.. now the potatoes I didn't like it atall I will never pay that much for a simple potato fry unless it has some flavour and twist in it.. the vegetables were soggy😔... the t99 special chow the taste was good but I didnt find anything special in it just a lots of inputs(egg, chicken etc.) were there with the same flavours of a basic noodle.. the place is good but I didnt like the food so much...

Cocktails are a great choice here. A varied range of drinks that I usually do not find in bbsr. Price of the drinks is at a lower end when compared to a lot of places in bbsr. If drinking with friends , a must hangout.

I had a strange experience here...when I asked for Indian food the waiter replied that the "Indian" cook had some medical emergency to prevail so only the "Chinese" cook was available..Never heard of that sort of thing from any waiter..And we were like Ok we will take whatever he was offering and ordered for Chinese food ... Overall the quality of food was good...and the ambience is perfect..

This place has lost its colors and seems to be a very average one now. The restaurant was pricey from beginning and now with a dip in service quality it seems way more expensive for the things it offers. <br/><br/>Went to the place around 3:30 PM, the place was relatively vacant aloud with weird song collections they consist. <br/><br/>The waiters seemed less interested in the service and took quite a bit of time to turn up. The beverage availability is very limited and the waiter further informs to place the order for the food quickly as the kitchen was scheduled to be closed at 4:00 PM. The other turn off is the sitting arrangement of this place, it's very wierd. <br/><br/>All the above for a place that claims to be a premium version of a restaurant chain doesn't seems apt. To put it in an one liner 'It serves average but feels premium to your pocket' <br/><br/>Coming to the food, we ordered a Murgh Malai Kebab along with the beverages, the quantity seemed a bit less and the price on the contrary to be on a higher side. The taste was good although! <br/><br/>Continuing with the good; this place is less crowded, so for the people who prefer a quiet place or are interested to spend some good quality time with their​ partner may opt for it. (you have to deal with the songs though). <br/><br/>The other good thing about it which prompts me to revisit this place despite all the flaws is the two seating places(tables) with an amazing view of the outside. While ordering beer..<br/>They have only strongs and only 2 options of brands.<br/>.<br/>Three people took the initial orders from us.. and we had to tell the third one that we have already placed it with 2 guys confirm from them.<br/>.<br/>On asking what will served fastest and Best.. the guy waiter replies .. smiling and laughing.. papad sabse jaldi ayega.. at the same time we were like did he not understand the sarcasm .. at the same time another table a guy was fighting.. that an order of papad has taken 15 20 minutes .. we were like papad bhi jaldi nahi ataa shayad.<br/>.<br/>We still had some time to kill so we ordered paneer tikka and chilly chicken dry..<br/>Waiter comes back and said paneer tikka will take time .. we asked how much he said half an hour .. and explained abhi baaki sabka tandoor mein laga hai .. to jagah nahi hai aapka lagane ki .. we were like ok no problem we can wait for half an hour .. he says.. aur zyada bhi lag sakta hai 45 minutes lag sakta hai .. then i said cancel paneer tikka and the person was .. i will order it once tandoor is empty .. i said i want to cancel .. and he would still want me to order.. <br/>.<br/>Chilly chicken we ordered was good ..<br/>.<br/>Then came the time of billing.. by this time manager was already having loud fights at two other table.. <br/>He asked me after 15 minutes.. aapne kaunsa beer piya tha . ?!!.. and kitnaa beer piyaaa tha .. aur uske saath kuch liya tha .. so it was all upto me what i ordered much i ordered that i must remember and tell .. <br/>Theres more details .. but i think thats enough reason to skip this place forever.<br/>RIP tangerine 99.

The place seems to be groovy and ambience was also nice. I had my dinner and would rate it as average. They almost took 40 mins to serve the main course, quite frustrating though, food was ok. Would rate Chicken Hungama (it was expected with gravy but the story was diff)- 2/5 and prawn dum masala & malai prawn (awesome)-5/5. Overall not happy with my experience but the place was nice.

A nice place with a good ambience, it is a must visit for non vegetarians as they have very limited vegetarian options. They offer drinks at a decent price and can be visited once. The staff is very generous and very accomodating. Paneer Kali mirch kebab is good and different in taste. American corn pepper salt is also good. Masala papad isn't great and can be avoided. Finger chips aren't very great either. They need to include more Vegetarian options on their menu. It's a little expensive if you only want to dine out without drinks. Tangerine 99 is one of my favorite places in Bhubaneswar ! Born and Brought up in Bhubaneswar, there is hardly any food joint I would have missed and still Tangerine 99 Stands out for the quality of food and the spread it offers.. Although, price is on a higher end, its worth paying a visit and relishing some delicious food. Been here both for lunch and dinner and I would prefer dinner just because there is hardly any crowd in the afternoon (my personal choice though). Loved both Veg and Non-Veg Starters. Lime Soda was a disappointment though. Hence, giving a rating of 4/5 so that my favorite place can improve its deserts and drinks to get a perfect 5 !

I went to Tangerine 99 one year back.. believe me friends in my opinion it is one of the worst restaurant i have ever seen in my life..i have tried foods of all 5 star and 3/4 star hotels in Bhubaneswar..as i am a working professional though i am also a frequent traveller cum foodie too. During my travel i have tried the foods of different city's and few south asian countries..<br/><br/>However i have never experienced any bullshit restaurants like Tangerine 99 in Bhubaneswar.. as mentioned above i went there with 2 of my friends..where we had a dinner ..after sitting there 4/5 waiters came suddenly..and asked me what do you want..what do you want.. ? It was extremely awkward and annoying.. then their manger came and suggested me to leave the menu, and said-I'll give you some special' items., As per my choice..you will enjoy it. And I said yes..<br/><br/>We had one American corn, 3 veg hot n sour soup n one big fish for me (while eating the fish their waiters asked me 6/7 times ..sir have you finished? In the end i had given the plate after eating one side of the fish) then they gave me a crab( a big crab curry) and told me to eat.. my two friends were vegetarian they had not taken anything except soup n corn..<br/><br/>Then at the end ..they have given me a bill of 3650 .. can you believe it ..? In the bill They had charged me 120 rupees for assorted water (a bowl of warm water with lemon to wash hands) i believe when the food is good..cost doesn't matter..but friends after taking those food i had faced severe health problem for next 2 days..<br/><br/>Totally disappointed about the quality of food behavior and price.. such a Disgusting experience.. shame on you Tangerine 99..

This place represents style and elegance. Classy ambience, great food and this comes for a good price too. Staff is not as updated as the place, but that wont bother you if you just focus on the food. I would keep this place in a category where I only take important people of my life on whom I dont mind spending. You will fell special in there. I just wish there was some music which was missing. They do have a setup for performances but not sure when that happens.

Very nice ambience with a nice view. Staff was cordial and the food was very good albeit a bit expensive. The view from the window is very nice and the walls covered with different coloured glass look great.

I visited this place with a female friend of mine for dinner. The ambiance of this place is very comforting. The lighting perfectly sets your mood for a comfortable experience. We ordered chicken sweetcorn soup and chicken malai kebab for starters. The chicken pieces were very soft and well marinated. For main course we ordered butter chicken, dal makhni and Naan. The food is really tasty and the service is of high quality.

It's a good place ... good food but Lill expensive ..... taste is good ... I like this place ... liked it .... I hv been der @ day time . Bt I think this place is good @ night. Awssmm interior. .... n good to go with for of frnds...

I think it was my worst experience. I always prefer Malva as a premium restaurant, I tried tangerine99 after being insisted upon by friends.So lame and slow Service,food is not upto the Mark.its not an amusement park so, I don't consider the ambience.

Poor service. Having a good interior doesn't make it a nice restaurant. Food quality is below par. I ordered sea food soup and I got fish bones in it. Disgusting. Tangerine 9 is much better. U guys should shut down.

Little expensive but a must visit with friends. The ambience is astounding! Food is worth it. I tried out Chinese. For starters I had ordered babycorn mushroom pepper and for main course there was shanghai noodles and mushroom babycorn in garlic sause. The quantity is huge too. The service was great. <br/>Must visit.

The food was gud..bt later me & my friends had a severe stomach ache,.so for food I wud rate it a 2.5,.bt d ambience iz really gud,.so a 4.0 for it,.bt d menu iz jst overpriced as compared to d taste,.It'z not jst so wow,.to pay dat much,.for d service a rating of 2.5 wud b fine.,most probably d other tangerine iz better..

A good place to hang out with family and friends. Ordered the Hakka Noodles and Hunan Chicken, Chicken Butter Masala, Chicken Tandoori and Soup. The Hakka Noodles and Hunan Chicken were good. The tandoori was a little overcooked. The soup was also nice. The ambiance was also good. The prices were also a little high. Overall it was an okay experience.

Very tempting interior and disco lights...but the food and the service is embarassing...very disappointingly the waiters dont even care folr the customers orders and food quality is also unsatisfactory.

The interiors of this place is awesome. From the flashy walls to the giant sexy red sofa, this place looks not less than a celebraty's dinning hall. The best part is that each table is provided with a hand sanitizer. This place does quite a justice for both quantity and quality.

Marvelous interior and eye catchy flooring. One of the best restaurant to go for lunch or dinner. You can take a table near the glass and can watch the whike bbsr as the restaurant is on 5th floor. A bit costly but value for money. Talking about food it is indeed awesome. Tangerine special and chicken lollipop was very tasty. It's a must go restaurant for all foodie.

Entering this place,one will never hope for what's coming after. This place has a marvellous interior with the perfect service a restaurant must provide. The way they have decorated the entire place will make you feel ecstatic. Mentioning about the food,it is a very good choice for a lunch or a dinner. This place is quite expensive but the taste of the food and the ambience justifies it all.

Interior is definitely catchy and cool however the food is a complete different story. The kitchen is kind of visible from the dining area and the entire place was smelling of the things being cooked. Extremely overpriced as compared to the taste of food. It seemed that the guy who was serving us was the saddest person in the whole world and not at all in mood of working didn't even care to refill our water galsses.

Was there with my group for a pre birthday treat. The interiors are more like a disc than a restaurant. We started with soup . Must say it was real good. First time I had my soup without any add ons. But later we got a bit disappointed with the main course.

Ambiance is very good plus food tastes awesome, difficult to find restaurants in which both non veg and veg tastes good. One of the best restaurants of bhubaneswar (among the ones I have visited). On the hindsight, food is costly now it is up to u to decide whether it is worth ur money it certainly was for me.
