This place has been revamped as "Taste Of China" which is present at Niladri Vihar. They have shifted to this place. As mentioned in the name, you get authentic Chinese Cuisines and the dishes are delicious. The staffs are very courteous and friendly. You get a complimentary Mojito upon arrival /Dine In. They suggest you all the best dishes. This place is a always a go to place when the choice comes to eating Chinese delicacy. They have a new section in the memu and they provide " Thai" food. This is an addition to the menu! The price and ambience is soo awesome, trust me you're gonna love it. Do visit this place , you will fall in love with the Authenticity of the chinese food provided here and the Place is really beautiful 🍗

Good place to spend time. Price is also good. Taste wise 4 star. I got good service from the employees. Must try dakhini9 special chicken (for 4 person), BBQ Chicken, Kasturi kabab.

A very Good Restaurant indeed. Cosy place and has all sorts of food available here within an economic price. The taste of the food is extremely well. The behaviour of the staffs is upto the mark and they are very friendly too. A perfect place to hand out with frnds and family as well.

It has been a while it has been serving the foodies in the city of Bhubaneswar. Situated on the street from Petrol Pump in Chandrasekharpur to Niladri Vihar, this restaurant has been checked out by the food loving people in the city. Food quality off late has been a little concern, the promoters need to check the same. Nonavailability of good choices for the kids who are accompanying the parents is a matter of urgent attention. Since the options are a bit limited, service couldn't be judged properly. Atmosphere and ambience inside is really good.

Service is very good. They have separate area for small party and regular restaurant. Strongly recommended to those who are planning to have private parties for 50-60 people. Service is superfast. Reasonable price and the main thing is that it is accessible. Just 150 meter from BPCL chandrasekharpur petrol pump.

Worst experience ever... Never had such a bad experience in DAKHIN 9... IT has detoriated a lot..... Earlier it was great but now the waiters are not at all CORDIAL.. They don't even listen to costumer..Ambiance is zero... And the quantity is very less than before... I don't recommend u at all to this place .the waiters avoid u like hell...there are only two, inexperienced waiters...😕

A piece of plastic was found inside the veg Manchurian balls.. The taste of food was good but this is a blunder as the piece of plastic could get stuck inside and is dangerous to health.. This is heights of unprofessional attitude.

The service is really slow. The timings of servings is really off. You would be waiting for a curry to come to eat with the bread, and it will arrive almost after you finish up. The food is also just decent for the price they are charging. Ambience is pretty good for family gatherings.

A perfect place if you’re getting there with family and friends. I went there with my family for the birthday party . Loved the atmosphere and the crowd was decent. We have ordered garlic soup, Chicken fried rice with chicken with nuts , Hunan Chicken and Hakka noodles . Staffs were very nice. A must go

Dalshin9 .. I went there in the pate afternoon.. Around 4pm.. There were no people.. Ambience is not that great.. Very normal.. But the behaviour of the staff will make you feel very comfortable and ease.<br/>I had mutton dum Biriyani and masala cold drinks.. Quantity was good. Sufficient for 1 person. But i found that bit pricey. But the mutton was perfectly cooked . and the overall taste was good. Not that awesome..

Good food. Nice ambiance. Clean and hygiene properly maintained. Service was good and fast But the staffs are not much informative about the dishes. I ordered smokey chicken but there was not a little bit sign of smokeyness. Value for money. Portion of the food is also good.

The Chicken Lat me Kai, Of Dakhin 9 is my all time favourite starter . I just go there for this particular dish. Also the service is excellent. The price is cheaper and economical. Food has got excellent taste. A must go place at Bhubaneswar.

Above average ambience, average food, bit pricey. You could get almost the same quality of food at a lesser price at Grand kalinga or garam masala, which are nearby.

Firstly, the behaviour of the staffs were great. They were quick with serving the food and were constantly navigating every need of the customers.<br/>We ordered plain rice, tawa roti, chicken kasha and chicken curry.<br/>The quality and quantity were both great. Though I didn't like the chicken kasha much. However, the chicken kasha was great enough.<br/>It's quite pocket-friendly and good service.<br/>

It was a last minute decision to go that bht surprising we found table for dinner..<br/>I went through the menu and ordered Lemon Coriander soup which was awesome to be frank and ordered some american corn, crispy honey chilly chicken... It was perfectly sweet and crunchy.. We also ordered Murg lasooni kabab which was tasty as it was coated with nice garlic smell..<br/>For main course we ordered Garlic naan, plain Naan and stuffed kulcha... In veg we ordered chilly Mushroom and butter paneer.. I personally liked the taste of butter paneer masala as it was a bit spicy..<br/>In non veg we oreded hot garlic chicken and murg masala and as usual i am a fan of murg masala so i realy liked it..<br/>The only complaint that i had was they didn't had ice for any drink..<br/>

The ambience is good. The food is very tasty at a fair price. The quantity is also good. We were there for lunch and the food was fantastic. The fish items are specially mention worthy. I recommend schezwan fish, pan fried chilly fish and fish begambahar to every one.

This restaurant located at the district centre, CSpur is a cozy place having a decent interior. The security guard is very well-behaving so is the staff. Their service is quite fast.We ordered naan, murg mussalam, and chili baby corn. All the items tasted very well and were of good quantity according to the price. A must visit.<br/><br/>

I had a visit to this place for a team lunch. It is more of a regular place to have north Indian dishes. Ambiance felt okay to me. We have ordered different variety of chicken and mutton dishes, biriyani and nan's. Price is quite reasonable and service was fine.

The place is not good. The food was okay too not great. We had paneer tikka, fried corn, chicken lollipop and soups as starters. Corn and paneer tikka was okay but chicken lollipop was not good. Then we had naan, rice, paneer butter masala, prawn curry, mix veg, papad and salad. The food was horrible. Paneer was not good, naan was undercooked, mix veg was okay. All in all it was not a good experience and is not a place worth visiting for dinner.

Have been here only once. Didnt find anything worth recommending. Clumsy ambiance and ok types food. Nothing bad about it nothing great either.

Personally i don't have any issue with Dakhin 9.<br/>Food quality - not satisfied.<br/>They used same masala for Butter chicken and murg musslam.<br/>For murg musslam they used tandoori chicken.<br/>So murg musslam taste like tandoori chicken.<br/>Staffs are not coordination with customer, in other words they are not working properly under high volume of customer.<br/>So Dakhin 9 don't make people fool by giving same food with different name.<br/>

It was good to be there. The staff service was straightaway. The ambiance was adept. But what hurt the most was the quantity. We have ordered "Tangri Kabab" which was priced @ 169/-, and they gave us 2 pieces of kabab ONLY. That was completely insatiable.

Went there for lunch today.Ordered tandoori roti,mushroom do pyaza and paneer handi.Mushroom do pyaza and paneer handi was tasty but the quantity was v less.Usually 2 curries are enough for 2 people but it wasn't the case today. And the roti was similar to papad.it was crispy but upon requesting they replaced the leftover pieces.  But it had already spoiled out good mood.I will prefer North99 to Dakhin9 anytime.

Taste - Average (lucky if u aren't served raw chicken)<br/>Service - Poor - if u have planned a lunch break for 1 hour, they will make sure u spend atleast twice the time. On the flip side its a heaven for love birds looking to spend some time together. They will make sure u don't get ur food in time irrespective of the order.<br/>Ambiance- Fair. If it rains and power goes out. u may see fumes coming out of the false ceiling due to some issue with the backup suply.<br/>Price - Why?<br/><br/>The Dreaded Incident: <br/>We went in a group of 30 people with prior booking. Only one waiter was aloted and he was completely overwhelmed. After sometime due to bad weather power got disconnected and soon we witnessed smoke coming out of the false ceiling for some reason. after reassurance from the manager we sat to eat. after a few fair food items we were served Tandoori chicken. it was raw from the inside. And from there on the downfall started. We were first given 10 Kulchas out of an order of 22. We waited for 10 mins for other items to arrive with just kulchas on our plates. we then waited 20 mins for the next round of kulchas. I had never witnessed such slow service. Giving a rating of 1 coz I cant go lower.

so I visited this restaurant on a sunny afternoon, hungry af.. the ambience is good. The food here was a great disappointment. the schezwan chicken was near tasteless. The only taste there was the taste of the tomato sauce. the quantity was okay.

Well, as you all know @Dakhin 9 has got almost 3 outlets in the different corners of the town. So, that apparently gives the restaurant an edge over other similar restros!<br/>I reached at 10 in the night and to my utter surprise they were quite cordial to greet us even at that point of time. Place is really nice for family dines. The Indian dishes are lovely. Especially the kulchas. <br/>Spacious, on time service. <br/>Soups are good. <br/>The veg starters are good. We tried crispy chilly corn and for non veg we stuck to lollipops. Both were good, quantity-quality-taste per say.

This is one of the restaurants in an array of many similar places around. Food is okay and nothing out of the ordinary. You can go and try once. Pocket friendly place.

Been their with family. It's a good family restaurants for people near and in Chandrasekharpur. Food was good we had fish there taste was okie but bit spicy. Their roti wasn't much good paratha too was okie. Can be tried for rice items like pulao and Biryani. Staff were not at all attentive. Took time to serve. But while giving the bill they were very fast. They even have parking space. Food was okie dokie there .

Ambience is like all the other family restaurant. I ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan and chicken biriyani in my first visit. Chicken tikka masala was absolutely a turn off, it was saltless.<br/>Butter chicken was okayish, it tasted like home chicken curry. Naan was buttery which was a good thing. Biriyani wasn't anything special, the same yellow colorful rice with a piece of chicken.

They had organised a lunch buffet for us which was very reasonable yet mouth watering food☺️<br/>Amongst the items served all were very tasty but few stood clearly as the unique besides all. From my graduation days i love this place. Lots of memories are associated with this place. This place is like my family, it has seen my friendship, love. Now i am out of the country... still whenever I visit odisha, i make sure i pay a visit here. Coming on to the food - I love the food over here specially chilli paneer. They can improve the ambience and service aswell and most important It wont hurt your pocket at all.

Nice place and pocket friendly place.. Though its not eye pleasing but the food is pretty decent.. I love indian cuisine here.. Dhakin 9 aflaton is really nice so is the chicken lat mai kai and the fried rice.. The food is satisfying.. Service is ok.. To sum it up its a okish place to go for..

Good place, well behaved and awesome staffs..however food is not that remarkable. Starters are so good and deserves more than 4 stars but main course...especially biriyanis are below average. I have attached starters image coz they were good.

Very very disappointed.. have been der on occasion of my mom's birthday after a long tyme with all family present. ordered many dishes so i can tell u exactly the quality of their products and services.<br/><br/>ambience is quite ok ok. <br/>starter : chicken chilli (quite gud) <br/>prawn manchurian which was salty (we dint complain) <br/>chicken tikka which was not cooked properly. we told to change them but their chef told tikka was@ like dis only.. aftr many conversation they took the plate. <br/><br/>we ordered chicken musallum and they took very long time to serve, but it was very very tasty. <br/><br/>Overal, it ruined our special day. Visited multiple times, good place to have a group outing which is also pocket friendly. Good ambience staff is also helping and freindly. Crispy conjee kai and American corn for starters is a good option. Panneer tikka masala in main course was good.

I have been here like a numerous times but most of the time this place is a bit crowded during rush hours. But the food is good but I find the service time a bit long sometimes. <br/>And if you're a sweet tooth then do try the Kashmiri Naan here.

I visited the place with a friend of mine on Valentine's day. Ambience is good and the restaurant was decorated with heart shaped balloons, it looked cute. My friend is a regular visitor to this place, I visited for the first time. She had warned me regarding slow service, so we ordered few items as we both were in hurry. We ordered chicken lollipop, masala papad and burnt garlic soup. To our surprise,entire order was served to us within 15 minutes. Burnt garlic soup did not look appetizing but I was surprised with the taste, It tasted one of the best garlic soups I ever had. Chicken lollipop in the other hand looked good, but It tasted solely of tomato sauce, it was not that good. Even chicken pieces were so small for the price we paid. Masala papad was burnt, so a let down. I may come once more to try their north Indian dishes, but not sure.

Food is between okay and good. Ambience is decent. Service is a bit slow, but not very much so it's fine as long you aren't a big group with a huge order. Chicken dishes are good here. Veg I haven't had.

Been there for uncountable times with friends, family, relatives. One of my favorite restaurant with amazing food quality and quantity, be it Indian or Chinese. The price is also reasonable. My all time favorite is Chicken Lollipop.

Nothing special to talk about. Can't remember, what we have tried there but i am sure, taste was OK. However, there are many restaurant nearby serving similar or better foods at a price bit lower than Dakhin's. I never thought of visiting second time.

Have been here many times and the food has never dissapointed, although the service has sometimes. Chicken lollipop is great here and the other dishes are also decent. A highly recommended place for students and new earners considering the price range.

I went there once for a frnd's bday. It was nothing great. Food was fine bt not worth mentioning. I will nt prefer to visit tht again, since bbsr hs gt lots of more options.

Gud place and it is quite pocket friendly and have tried chicken bharta chicken tai pai with masala kulcha with chicken fried rice they served the food in no time and ambience is the best

We have been here many times and have home delivered food many times more as there's no other decent option for us nearby. But the quality of food has just gone from bad to worse to worst imaginable. The food is quite bland. The chicken we ordered was stale. We're never EVER going back to this place again.

One of my favourite eateries in all of bbsr, staff is great, anticipating crowd they also have a waiting area. Great food at standard prices.<br/>Must try is their lung fung soup, its just heart warming. Kashmiri naan requires special mention. Lat me kai, crispy kronji chicken, chicken in plum saucw, salt pepper mushroom corn are yummy. Noodles is awsome too. Just eat place and go to place for treats!

We went for a lunch.<br/>The starters were delicious and service was fine till they served the main course. It took them 40 minutes to serve main course which was butter nan and chicken Hyderabadi . The chicken was tasteless and it was not fresh too.<br/>We ordered 2 butter nans later it took 20 mins to bring two butter nans .<br/>Heavily disappointed. I hope my next visit would be better one .

One of my first restaurants in Bhubaneswar. I have tried many items in this place, but my personal favourite combo would be the schezwan fried rice with garlic pepper chicken. The schezwan fried rice is really light and tasty. Another combo i would recommend would be the kashmiri pulao with murg butter masala. The pulao is light, sweet and goes deliciously with indian chicken items. The chicken lung fung soup is another great item here. Overall i would say this place is really good in food, and great to mix and match different items

This restaurant any day stands out of the crowd for fantastic, mouth watering delighted foods.. The service staffs are polite and courteous, but need to be a bit more focused and careful to their duty.. And the best thing is, you can get your food very quick, even if all seats are acquired..

Food in this place tastes very good. The ambiance is also good. Staffs are friendly. The restaurant is full most of the time. A Value for money restaurant. One of my favourite restaurant in Bhubaneswar.

I used to love this place but today me and my hubby made a visit to this place after a long time.i really like the decor but food was not good as expected.we order manchow soup which was ok type.chicken fried rice chicken berta and lollypop was not good. Really crowded place but food should need some improvement.

once, my most favourite restaurant, it has now lost the flavours its dishes had. the indian items are always good , but the chinese was awful. undercooked noodles , tasteless chinese chicken dishes . go there if you are a mughlai lover. avoid, if chinese is your preference.

Nice little food joint in the road besides the chandrashekharpur petrol pump.<br/>You will always find it crowded because it's a paisa vasool wala restaurant ;)<br/>Dishes that I liked were chicken lollipop, schezwan fried rice , mushroom masala.<br/><br/>Big thumbs up!

A regular Bhubaneswar restaurant with simple decor and scattered sitting arrangements. Noisy please though, food here is good, especially chicken preparations. They probably have the mastery in it. Service was average and time consuming.

Well Dakshin 9 is one of the famous restaurants in the chandrasekharpur area. Must try the chicken lollipop which is a speciality of this place. Apart from it they also serve good biriyani. A good place to enjoy with your friends

A typical restaurant like many other in Bhubaneswar.<br/>The moment you enter the place, you see very simple interiors. There were many tables placed , but most of the tables were occupied.<br/>We ordered chicken taipan, lollypop,masala papad, lung fung soup,american crispy corn,mixed fried rice and raita.<br/>Soup was ok, but could have been much better. Last time I had manchow soup which was very good but lung fung turned out to be just ok.<br/>Chicken lollypop and taipan were good and quantity was sufficient for 3.<br/>Fried rice was delicious, so was raita, however in mixed fried rice I found just a couple of prawn pieces.<br/>Service was very fast , they brought all these dishes in just 15 min .<br/>Waiters are some times rude and arrogant.<br/>But overall a good budget friendly place and<br/>nothing extra ordinary.<br/>Food - 3.5/5<br/>Ambiance - 3/5<br/>Service - 3.5/5<br/>Value for money - 4/5<br/>

I was introduced to Chicken Lollipop , here at Dakhin 9. And from then, there's been no turning back. Every possible birthday celebration, of family and friends , has been made here ! Food is scrumptious here. Ambience could be better, though !
