The interior ans the staff is too good as well the taste and service is the best. Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste...

This place has disappointed me a lot. Came here with a huge expectation and hunger but instead served with delayed food and high price.. Ambience is good but staff behaviour is not up to the standard. Also, noodles quality was horrible just like roadside stalls. The only good food was stuffed chicken.

I went there to order a take out/delivery based on a recommendation almost a week ago while visiting Bhubneswar. The place is good, but the quantities that were delivered are equivalent of airline meals. Maybe good to eat in but definitely not for take out/delivery.

Should try the biryani here...its very good.. well trained and well behaved waiters.<br/>very professional looking ambience..<br/>nd about food...biryani is 1st class quality..thick raitha..unlike almost all other places..they dont go "kanjoos" in their raitha😂.. then...Afghani chicken nd all starter fish items are excellent...not a big fan of their beverages though...sizzler items are excellent

The food isn't all that great to be honest, but it's my sole opinion. Menu isn't all that great but they have some unique items ehich aren't available all the time. Could definitely use some lights...feels kind of dull.

BEWARE !!! You will be degrading your health for sure.<br/>I generally don't write reviews. But I was compelled to after a terrible experience. I had order Chicken Biriyani for my parents and guess what they have given rotten pieces of chicken and the smell was unbearable. It will definitely lead to food poison if you consume. These restaurants are some of the examples who sells worst quality food at exorbitant prices just in the name of chain hotels. And no doubt this restaurant will also shut very soon. Bhubaneswar does not need these kinds of worst restaurants at all.<br/>

The thali was totally waste of money. Only 2-3 spoons of dal and it costs 240. Quantity was way too much little. Disappointed. The quality of the paratha was also not good. And only one paratha? Wasn't expecting this.<br/>In short a very bad experience from moti mahal.<br/>

I ordered today's special combo of noodles and paneer chilly of 99 which went to 114 on the whole process of delivery charges and gst and I got an amount which is not enough for even 1 person. at other places at the same price, I get food for 2 people. If you are giving less quantity there at least please mention it.

Ordered Chicken Dum Biryani from here . Good Quantity. Chicken was the star as there were 3-4 big tikka pieces. A piece was half cooked and the rice was not good as compared to the chicken. Packaging was really good and it'll be easy to take it along while travelling.

The quality of food is Deteriorating day by day. In the name of authentic kebab, they just serving boiled chicken with some coated spice. They are serving half cooked mutton with half cooked rice in Biriyani. Just pathetic! I am wondering hw Zomato still giving then rating 4. :)

I am fan of Moti Mahal tandoori chicken and Dal makhani it's a must try .The ambience is good and the staff are friendly the food is good to palate.

They serve great tandoori options but the biriyani is not consistent..I have been there for more than 5 times and have had a chance to have biriyani only once...sometimes its over, somedays its not available.Once they had served biriyani with soggy rice which was a complete disaster and was just rice with rice water and boiled chicken...the worst thing was they charged me completely for it even after my complaining and returning the food.

Food and packing was good but disposable spoons were not given with veg thali. One star less for not giving spoons with thali. I expect it will be taken care of next time we order :)

I ordered tandoori chicken today. The chicken was not all good and it smelled really bad. It was quite evident that the chicken was not fresh. Really disappointed with the service.

I had been to this place earlier and the food was pretty good and hence had recommended the place to my cousins and we visited this place last week and the food was terribly bad. Their specialty Chicken Butter Masala was the worst I have ever eaten. Just boiled chicken and butter with tomato gravy. Paneer malai tikka was bland so was tandoori mushroom.<br/>When you already set a standard it’s bad to downgrade.

I ordered once again bcz the last time i ordered biryani from dis place was amazing and tasted really great.but this tym the mutton biryani was a disaster.completly different frm the last one.the mutton pieces though perfectly cooked but tasted like the stored ones from the leftovers.it was like a rotten taste which i felt.never expected this thing frm dis restaurant.completely disappointed.

They charged an extra 5% service charges which was printed on the Bill. The manager later tried to convince saying "It's an option for the customer to pay or not, and the same has been mentioned somewhere on the menu".<br/>It's just another tactic to loot customers where most of them pay the bill amount not knowing that they have been charged some 5% extra.

If you had only one place you could try out in the city for North Indian cuisine,look no further.<br/>I can have their butter chicken for every meal of my life and still love it equally each time. It stands by it's reputation for amazing chicken curry, kababs and dal makhani .<br/>Don't miss this one ! :)

Moti Mahal Deluxe has great name and goodwill, but for me visiting this place was a bit disappointing.<br/>We tried Lemon Corriander Soup which was great. Even the fish fingers were tasty. But, The Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Butter Masala, Mix Veg was not at all upto the mark, these tasted stale.<br/>Butter naan was neither soft nor hot. Served it cold, making it difficult to chew.<br/>Giving it a 3 star, just for the soup and the fish finger, and not to forget the peaceful ambience.

I had ordered veg thali but Food quality was average.<br/>Turmeric smell was coming from Paneer...<br/>Dissatisfied with the quality of food but Zomato's service was good.

Staff service was extremely professional, prompt, cordial and warm. Ambience was good. We ordered chicken malai kabab which was tasty, afgani murg musalm was dry and chicken was little over cooked hence had become dry and chewy. We also had fish malai kabab and that was amazingly tender and super tasty. Lemon coriander soup was also tasted good. We asked them to make stuffed kulcha customising the stuffing which was served well. Paneer lababdar was little salty when they served initially and upon our feedback they retouched it to bring the dish to its desired level of salt. Overall it was great time dining in there.

I tried Veg Pulao & Paneer Lababdar. I like the paneer lababdar. The paneer is soft n fresh taste nice. The Veg Pulao Taste is average its not wow or yummy types... Service is good ... You will get a complimentary welcome drink...

Ordered chicken biryani there. Ambience is great but the quality of biryani is not so special its very common taste and they give only one leg piece. So both quality and quantity is not good enough either they should reduce the prices or work on their taste and quantity.

Rice quality was good. High grade basmati rice. However, overall the biriyani was average for me. Reason being overuse of cardamons etc, which completely overpowered the taste and feel of the most important aspect of a biriyani - Rice!

Stuffed tangri kabab😍 awesome it was. The food they serve is great. The price is in higher side. But who cares. I ordered a stuffed tangri kabab and butter chicken🤤 the famous. But the famous just reminded me about tamato what made me happy was the tangri kabab. Will try some other dishes next time.

Raw potatoes added to a sour gravy for kashmiri aloo dum. Cannot cut it with a spoon. This is the quality while it charges a premium for its dishes.

Just like most of the restaurants in Bhubaneswar, they can not cook good mughlai food. Mutton Biriyani is like rice and mutton curry mixed with each other and served. The size of the mutton pices are very small.

I went to this place on 17th August , 2018 ; first they welcomed me with complimentary beverages and rosted papad . I know the pricing is little high but I promise it's worth the price . Worst food I ever had.. I went with the brand name which is actually good in other parts of India.. but here the food sucks.. I ordered for American salt & pepper as starter .. and the corns were burnt out.. there was no taste of corn left in it.. the items are over priced.

We love this place, My friend and I stumbled upon this place after seeing the good reviews and were impressed by the beautiful ambiance and excellent seating arrangement at Moti Mahal Delux. The food was awesome and service was quick.

The food didnt live upto our expectations. Soup we ordered was extremely spicy, we bought this to chef's notice and asked to careful on rest of the items. They did replace the soup. We asked for chicken butter masala which is there flagship dish. It was so sweet and overloaded with butter. The mutton was also below average. Not a single item was as per our expectation. They didnt live upto the brand name. I went to few of thr outlets in Delhi and had an amazing experience, was expecting the same here but disappointed. The staff was polite enough to accept this and assured a better experience next time.

With the amazing festivals and Facebook posts, this restaurant always comes into the limelight somehow. The biryani here is truly amazing and even the tandoor dishes. The chicken butter masala is real yum.<br/>The chicken seekh kababs are worth appreciation. That day, when we were served the chicken seekh kababs, the waiter by mistake dropped one . 15 minutes later, he came with 2 more kebabs and apologized for dropping the other one. The staffs are really good and friendly.

Heard a lot about this place and finally went there. We went there in a Tuesday at 1:30 pm and the place was totally empty. So I thought if we did a big mistake of coming here. The greeted us with welcome drink and complimentary roasted papads. Ambiance is top notch. Very comfortable seating spaces. The serving staff were very friendly and courteous. We ordered a lot of thing. Out of which the starters really stood out. Dahi ke kebab, stuffed chicken tangdi and Noorani Kebab were the starters. All of them were amazing. Stuffed chicken tangdi was awesome, a must try for everyone. Coming to main course, we ordered rarha meat, veg deewani handi and murgh bemisal. The mutton pieces were very succulent and tender. It was a great experience. The price is at a higher side but the quality of food is worth the money. And the service is also commendable.

To start with the ambience, its good for nice get-togethers. What sets it apart is they provide welcome drinks and papad(well atleast beats the heat & hunger pangs while you decide your order). The place has a good ambience. The restaurant staff was friendly enough. Added to that, the food presentation and taste was more than satisfactory. <br/>The only thing that I didn’t like was that they have only one person making the beverages and since he was absent, they didn’t serve beverages which tasted aa good as they ideally should have.

So I was here with family this weekend and for some reason expected the food to be good . But it was a sheer disappointment . <br/>The charges for Bhubaneswar standards and not being a 5 star are exhorbitant , the service is really bad , we ordered for veg spring roll which was dripping in oil , our fish tikka as a starter came just before our main course despite the order being given well in advance . The taste was nothing exceptional . The main course was mutton rogan josh, murg mussallam and veg kolhapuri, the gravy was really spicy for everything and was not something that would convince me to shell out so much . They even added out the service tax in the bill ! Who does that anymore . I mean personally the experience of dining there was just not satisfactory .

Extremely late service even when there was only 4 table occupied in total at the restaurant. we had ordered only 2 items which took exactly 45 minutes to be served. However the restaurant is having a good and clean ambience.

I don't know why they have mentioned home delivery. I have never been able to get the food delivered from them...sometimes the delivery boy is not there and sometimes since there is only one, so he is not available...

For all those who love India Cuisines and want to get the feel of Nawabi khana....Here is the place ...delightful tandoori carefully cooked with all the ingredients a dish is supposed to contain.... offcourse some dishes do not make it to the mark ...But some must haves are lehsuni kebab,Tandoori chicken , Fish Tikka and Murg Masalam in main course.... Mushrooms do not taste that great !!! But one must visit for comfy ambience during dinner :-)

After hearing a lot about this place, finally visited it. Situated at Patia, this is the most serene restaurant I have ever been to. This place is best known for its Indian cuisine. We ordered fish finger, which was the best I had in Bhubaneswar. Next was chicken mallai kebab which was mouth watering and everyone who love tandoori should give it a try. Then we ordered white sauce chicken pasta. Which was nothing compared to the other two dishes. Specially because of the strong smell of herbs I didn't like it much. <br/>The staff were pretty good and well mannered. I would highly recommend this place to everyone out there who loves Indian cuisine.

i went for dinner at 8 pm with high expectations. CHICKEN BIRYANI was not available. I ordered cream tomato soup, chicken chatpata and roti. the bread croutons of soup was given separately and horrible in taste n only half fried. chicken chatpata had 4 large monster sized pieces of chicken...all rubbery n chewy. And when I am trying to explain them they just don't get it..wasted my money and the evening. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Bhubaneswar does not have plenty options of GOOD Biryani and this one is a new addition to that list. Tried Murgh Hyderabadi biryani and gosht dum biryani and both were pathetic!! The rice was hard, the pieces of mutton were stinking and seemed to be refrigerated for a while. It can be called flavoured rice at max and it is absolutely avoidable and not at all value for money..Not recommended.

A must try)<br/><br/>The place is bit pricy.. But the dishes are worth their prices!!

The food quality has gone down. Expected a better butter chicken..didn’t match the original butter chicken of Delhi..the starters were okayish.<br/>The chicken tikka was undercooked..the Reshmi tikka was over cooked. Staff were very good and attentive.

Food quality is really very good. Ambience and service is also good, but this is very costly! Chicken Chilli garlic fried rice, chicken Hong Kong and fresh lime soda is good, but there comes the main thing i.e too much "costly"!!

So I've been waiting to go to this place, and it turned out be a good experience. They serve a welcome drink which was okay. We had reshmi kababs and murgh malai tikka for starters. Both tasted delicious. Then for main course we had butter naan, mutton Rogan Josh and chicken lababdar. Mutton could have been better and the quantity was a bit small considering the price. Wanted to try dessert but they didn't had more of options, so we skipped it. Overall it was a good experience. Would surely visit again. Ambience was great and so were the staff.

<br/>One ought to try this place for authentic indian food. Apparently they were the first ones to invent the recepie for butter chicken. So i tried a full plate of shredded butter chicken , it was quite greasy but was flavourful . The dahi Kebab and chicken Afghani were also were nice .The ambience is good but the prices are a bit on the higher side but still worth it .<br/><br/>

The food was good if u want 2 try authentic north indian give it a try though it is costly but if you are a foodie then go there,non veg items were good as compared to veg

This place is meant for a person/people who just loves food . It costs around rupees 700 (for 2 person), but the ambiance of the restaurant and the taste of food speaks for itself. This restaurant is famous all over India for its delicious and mouth watering kebabs , tikka ,tandoori and the most amazing chicken Biriyani .

Great food & ambience. The interior is amazing and is best for friends or family. The price is moderate for most items. Management & staff are also sober & efficient enough. Starters are a lil different than most restraunts.

This place is quite a good place for family and friends. Food is good and but no the best. Presentation is nice. The ambiance is quite clean and calm.

Nice food, good staff and decent ambiance. Recently I was in BBSR and tried this restaurant. However, the parking needs to be improved. Still I will give you a thumbs up for your service and food.
