Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurant in Bbsr. Lovely location, just 5 mins away from the Railway Station. PS: Do try the Garlic Chicken.

Excellent Food, Fast service.Good behaviour of staff

This restaurant is located in 2nd floor and near to Lalchnd Jewellers. The food quality was too good and staffs were very nice. One of the best place to have a small party with friends. Please try Tangerine Fried Rice if you visit there.

Overall Rating: 3.5 Price: 4 Ambience: 3 I'm not a regular, but have visited this place time and again for the past 7 years. Look and feel of the place is a bit dated. I'd recommend eating at the place while the food is hot, it'll be worth your time. I don't recommend delivery or takeaway. The portions are decent. Overall it's a satisfactory experience.

Whenever we go to Bhubaneswar, we make sure, at least once we make it to this place, for dinner or lunch. It's in a cool location, very closed to Master canteen. Taste and quality are very good. Staffs are friendly. You can try both veg and nonveg here. As of now I don't have a photo to share, will do it next time.

Good place to dine-in. Food is good interms of taste and quantity. Staffs look straight into your eye making you uncomfortable most of the times. Rest all is fine.

Place is easily reachable. However you can find difficulties in four wheeler parking as it is right beaide the road. Service is very nice. Food is okay. Good for family.

One of the best restaurant. Nearer to railway station,within 200 meters. The place is on 1st floor ,you might have difficulty to find stare and lift. Service is really awesome and food is as good as service. Washroom is well maintained. Place was quite when I visited. Price was affordable

I loved this place earlier but i think they have degraded now. Went to this place and it's has a decent family restaurant type ambience. What we ordered-<br/>1. Murgh Musallam- this tasted good but i think not worth the price paid. The chicken was not that soft. However the taste was good. Would give it 3.8/5.<br/>2. Chicken tikka- this was not like tikka but like chicken pakoda. It tasted fine but not like tikka. If you want to have some real tikka do not order this. Rating: 3/5<br/>3. Garlic Naan was too good. I loved it. Rating: 5/5<br/>4. Rice and dal fry. Dal fry had less salt in it.<br/>I think they have a lot of room for improvement. Servicing is ok types beacuse many products were not available so that i am so dispointed.ambience is also ok types and taste is seriously so bad I don't know why plz change your cook.Because I have gone there 4 times before I know the test but now it was taste less.chicken lollipop taste was good and also murgh chicken masala,but Chinese dish was not like Chinese dish.So it was a bad experience for me and my family.

The food quality is too low.. The panner we orderd was smelling too bad when we told the waiter argued....The food taste n quality is detorating day by day and the waiters behaviour is too rude they are not trained please dont prefer it

Authentic Chinese dishes along with Indian delicacies. Very cool atmosphere. Staffs are very courteous. Perfect value for money. Good place for family or couples.

I ordered butter naan and chilli chicken.. The naan was a bit hard n was little hard to chew.. And the chilli chicken was of a different level..😣 it was probably raw and undercooked.. The spices in it was also not upto the mark..!!

The masala in the tandoori butter chicken was stale and not fresh.

I ordered a veg Mughlai naan as per the menu but they delivered non veg Mughlai naan. This is the best bad service from Tangerine 9 and Zomato.

This is my favorite place for having some authentic Chinese in town. Really amazing. Ambeince is average. but the food served here is of real high quality. chicken lollipops are anytym a must try here. location wise it's really Great too. You won't find such Chinese food anywhere in bbsr other than this. my personal Opinion. this is a must try restaurant . Do give it a try . you won't be disappointed.

Decent place, good location<br/><br/>My second visit. This time we went for Tomato Rice, Masala Kulcha, Paneer Lababdar and Mint Raita.<br/><br/>Quantity wise, no complaints. Taste was quite good, although I found the Tomato Rice a tad too spicy. Paneer Lababdar was perfectly cooked with big, soft paneer pieces tossed in a thick gravy. Consistency of the Mint Raita was fine. Been to this outlet for having a lunch with my friend. The ambience of the restaurant was decent and well cleaned and well maintained too. Coming to the food, had ordered Chicken 65, Chilli Chicken, Bread basket, Chicken pepper garlic. The taste of the food was decent and served at perfect temperature. Kulcha taste wasn’t good. In a sweet and simple word for this tangerine is ROAD SIDE DHABA...staffs are unfriendly and simplely unproffessional which gives a worst exprience ...never try its Biriyani ...actually they dont know the cooking procedure ..never visit here.They are charging too much for this third class food.. Even my brother got a Stomach pain after eatting this unhigenic food.

Hmm. Ambience was good. I like the street view seat. Service was also good. It was fast and food was piping hot just like I wanted. Food was delecious. I have ordered pan fried noodle, chilly chicken and for starter crispy prawn in hot sauce. Prawn was crispy and juicy. And chicken was tender moist and flavor full. Over all good experience.<br/>

Its a very nice place to hang out with friends for boozing & good food. The ambience and the hospitality of the staffs are really phenomenal. We went there within the 'happy hours' (4-7pm) & had 24 pegs (30ml) of Bacardi white rum which comes with a complementary non-veg chicken starter for Rs.2198 including GST. Then we had 3 Tuborg beers for Rs.259 each including GST. The prices are a bit premium though. I would definitely recommend this place to all to cherish a nice time with near & dear ones.

Tangerine has been my "Go To Place" every time when I have a Train to catch. My rating of 4 goes straight to Biryani which is different in taste and obviously very good. The entrance to the Restaurant is glitchy but the Ambience covers it well. All in all decent dining experience and good food...Always.

While on a stopover in Bhubaneswar enroute to Puri with the family, thought of having a quick lunch. <br/>The ambience is ok, Staff great and happy to assist and the food was good too. Tried the Non Veg Manchow soup which was good, then ordered the main course (Mixed Schezwan Fried Rice, Schezwan Chicken, and Chicken with Mushroom). Quantity wise the dish was good and taste wise was good even. Great place. <br/><br/>Staff are well mannered and smiling all the time which is good in this industry.

Had visited this place for a quick dinner before heading to the Railway Station. Located very close by this restaurant has a decent decor and a quite reasonable pricing on the menu. The Chicken Lababdar we ordered was very tasty and rich in taste while the naan ordered was also very fresh and soft. The food ordered reached our table very quickly too. The staff were very courteous and quick in response before we even asked.

Great ambience and nice for family hangouts. Quality food with great service. Starters are amazing. And Mixed fried rice is a must have. Also try out the soups and also has a nice view of the intersecting roads.

Was in Bhubaneshwar last week and we were looking for a decent restaurant for lunch. That was when we spotted Tangerine 9. I found the name of the place quite attractive. <br/>The ambience was nice. Small, cozy place with decently done interiors. I loved the plates with the detail of tangerine border. <br/>Coming to the food.. We ordered veg. Kadai, Paneer butter masala, masala kulcha and butter Naan. All of them tasted quite good. However, the Naan was chewy and rubbery. For rice we ordered veg fried rice. It tasted bland. <br/>The service was good. We were in a hurry and so requested the management to be quick which they did.

<br/><br/>Place is OK, small and compact. It's right at the top floor, lift is available but I doubt if it's functioning all the time? <br/>Service is just normal. Food is below average. They have Biryani, which they say it's Dum , but it's not. Road side biryani are tastier if compared. Overall it's below average. Taste is just like a roadside food stall. Hardly 2,3 waiter handling around 8 tables. Worst and slowest service ever. The Kitchen is visible throgh the glass, hardly 3,4 person wrking inside probable cause of delay.

The food was good and chicken items were quite good. The pricing was definitely on the higher side and taxes would be around 20% which is very high.other than that the staff was friendly and delivery was quick.

Some of the good places to dine out in Bhubaneswar are located in Janpath, and this is no exception. It is not very big but pretty cozy. It is located in the 1st floor, so you are more or less screened away from the road traffic. The restaurant serves Indian and Chinese. I would recommend Indian. There is a nice Ice Cream Parlour in the ground floor.

Chicken tikka masala is the best thing i had it here. A ltl pricey but worth of it. Ambience quality taste wise its the one of the finest restaurant in Bhubaneswar near station square.

Good place for having a quality time with family as this place is a little above the normal rates but the quality of food is great. Do try the smoke chicken here. Interiors ain't much of a wow, service is decent.

One of the best chicken lollipops in Bangalore. The food is just delicious. The chopsey was awesome. Ambience is okay. Space is a little small. One of my favourite hangout places during graduation days.

Visited the restaurant on a working day expecting it to be a memorable experience. But what I got in return was totally FORGETTABLE AND REGRETFULL.. <br/><br/>1) Totally Ignorant waiter and manager<br/> First time I found that a waiter in a centrally located restaurant does not know how the food items taste.. He was just LAME and maybe role-playing as a waiter. <br/>2) Exorbitant pricing - The pricing is totally unacceptable and unjustified.. Very poor.. And the quantity does not raise any eye brows too.. <br/><br/>3) No music No tv... - So in case any single person goes there I bet he'll be bored the hell out.. <br/><br/>4) Very limited options- I wanted to taste prawn but to my utter amazement I found just 5 very basic and pathetic items.. Ordered the Thai prawn and It was not good at all.. It felt like it was fried in coconut hair oil.. AND the chicken strips was sweet but the ignorant manager said it would be spicy <br/><br/>5) Just to give you a perspective.. 2 of us had gone and the bill was 1500, with the waiter returning the change after cutting the TIP himself... . Without anything worth remembering from the taste.. <br/><br/>So as a native of Bhubaneswar its my sincere request to any food lover and a taste hunter who finds this restaurant good... There are at least 50 better restaurants in the city which can treat you better at the same or lesser price point.. <br/>In one word the restaurant is - AVOIDABLE

It might be in my case only, but i did find the food only average and price above-average. Try Narula's instead, which is not more than 200 mts away and serves much better stuffs at this price.

The quality of food is good and so is the ambience. The service and the location of the restaurant is also quite good. The chinese cuisine is very good. One must try the chinese delicacies here, all are finger licking good. No one will get dissapointed.

Ambience at its height. Nice and cool atmosphere. Most importantly the service by the authorities was very quick and on its toes. Best place to have seafood in your stomach. Indian dishes were good to eat!

We ordered salad,chicken biriyani, veg fried rice, dam prawn and a chicken dish... The quantity of the food they serve is enough... now the food the fried rice was very good light and tasty all the ingredients blended properly and flavours were definite. .. The chicken biriyani was ok as I had much better biriyani compared to that it's ok but they served four pieces of chicken in the biriyani the chicken were well cooked, juicy and full of flavours.... The prawn dish wax tasty the number and size of the prawns they served was good enough the taste of the gravy was also good and mild... The chicken dish was also very good unique gravy, well cooked chicken... The raita they served with the biriyani was also very good... overall good experience tasty food is all needed... plus the staffs were very well mannered... I would like to visit again. .. recommended

I had a bad experience the first time i visited the place. I asked the waiter to suggest some good chicken dishes. And I ordered one, but was disappointed with the taste. They had experimented a lot on the dish which wasn't that good. But my subsequent visits to this place has been good. You need to choose the right dishes.

The ambiance of this place is average. Because of its location the restaurant is mostly full.The food tastes decent and is of good quality. The food is overpriced. You can get food with same taste at less price at various places. The service is fine.

So this was our last stop in Bhubaneswar and we had everything, from chicken to pomfret to prawns to mutton! Tandoori prawns were really good and filling- they served 4 pieces of tiger prawns here. Pomfret in hot garlic sauce tasted fine, but not very satisfying; also the taste of the sauces was working to hide the actual taste of the fish. The lahsuni chicken kabab was pretty spicy.<br/><br/>By the time we were done with the starters, we were so full that we ordered just 2 items for the main course- mutton keema and tikha murg. Tikha murg had a thick gravy which was apt for eating naan and had particularly teekha taste, as the name suggests. I was personally disappointed with the keema- had so much of green peas that it seemed as if we were having mutter kheema instead of mutton. What I liked about the place was a vast selection of breads and we ordered one of almost each. Most of the breads were sweet so you need to ask the waiter once if you aren’t fond of sweet naan.<br/><br/>One major drawback of the place- no student discount!

I have been here mostly with the family for family get-togethers. This place has a quiet and a peaceful atmosphere with a good ambience. It is a bit pricy than other restaurants but the food and especially the taste of the food is quite appetising. I have never been disappointed with the quality of food they serve. They are always upto the mark when it comes to the taste of the food. Service too is quite nice. All in all,there are no complaints for this place. Their taste and ambience totally justifies the price!

Dont get confused between "tangerine 9" & "tangerine 99". This restaurant with single 9 is the cheaper one with okay types ambiance but the taste of the food is good. I ate Chinese here and it was awesome. The service was average. <br/><br/>Generally, the restaurant is completely filled most of the times and one might have to wait to get a table especially on Saturdays and Sundays night.

Food is great. Every single thing you try there will make you happy. This was my experience from all the treats i got here . Ambiance is very okayish. And service.. they need to improve on it a lot. You can expect a good time wasted waiting for food. Only friend's company can make this place bst one.

Unhappy with this restaurant. Ambience was just too cramped, food is nothing worth coming back for and to top that, rotis & naan are served cold. But worst of all, is the attitude of a few staff including the manager. They seem to be in a hurry and make you finish the food in order to vacate the table for next. They seem to have Carefree attitude about the food when we tried to complain about the rotis. Over all experience was pathetic!

A very decent restaurant, a proper family restaurant, customer service is quite slow, but yeah one have a very good time there, pleasant music, ambiance is up to the mark, coming to the food, i didn't tried Chinese but as far as Indian, food is just yum including veg and non veg.

Chinese food is the best served here. Indian food is average. Prawn items are fabulous. Biriyani is not good at this place. Value for money is 7.

Tasty and delicious food and a good variety of dishes in Chinese and Indian cuisine. It's a little expensive. Ambience is good and pretty popular.

All is well about this place except that it takes it own sweet time to serve food. Situated right next to bhubaneswar railway station. It can work on the timing a bit.

Awesome food!!! Nearly empty!!! perfect location!!Good ambience!!! The food is costly, still worth it. Murg sufiyana,Shredded chicken chopsuey  , roasted mushrooms bolied baby corn salad- exotic! !Average service !!!

Very close to the Bhuwaneshwar Railway Station, this place is easy to locate. I landed there with my colleagues on a Thursday afternoon. <br/><br/>Initially we ordered Thai Soup however though it was mentioned in the menu, the restaurant wasn't serving that. Therefore we settled for Chicken clear soup and Hot & Sour Soup. In addition we ordered for Chicken with Mushroom, Chicken and mushroom cooked in oyster sauce and a fish preparation. We also ordered for Pan fried noodles and gravy noodles. <br/><br/>The food served was average. The fish preparation especially was below average.<br/><br/>However what put us off was the behavior of the staff. They kept wandering around our table waiting for us to finish, infact before one of my colleagues could finish her food they landed up to clear the table (though the rest of us were still eating). In spite of my colleagues correcting one waiter, the same behavior was continued by other waiters unless one was corrected sternly. <br/><br/>It was a bad experience overall.

This restro has decent interiors. The food is tasty and value for money. Excellent service by the staff. Good vegetarian preparations . Located in heart of city. A must visit.

So, your parents just flew in for a surprise visit and you need a decent place for lunch, this is it. At Tangerine 9, the food is consistently good, staffs are great and ambiance is good as well. Pick up any dish on the menu, you'll have it just the way you need it to be. Overall, its a foolproof place for a decent get together or just a casual dinner or lunch.
